BU BÖLÜM HAKKINDA
Welcome to the Psychedelic Conversations Podcast!
Episode 170:
In this episode, we speak with Dr. Shelly Persad about her journey from chiropractic care and personal burnout into plant medicine, sacred cannabis work, and embodied healing. Together, we explore her book Somatophobia, the fear of being in the body, and how cannabis can be approached not as a tool for escapism, but as a sacred mirror for deeper self-awareness. Dr. Shelly shares her perspective on trauma, the nervous system, the endocannabinoid system, ego, embodiment, and the importance of reconnecting with the body as the true path of healing. We also discuss the risks of misusing plant medicines, the need for guidance and discernment, and why everything we are seeking may already be within us.
