BU BÖLÜM HAKKINDA
What if the algorithm shaping what you believe was never built for truth, only attention? Host Sana talks with Sam Brooks, creator of the good-news app Rally, about reclaiming your own inner narrative from the feed.
Sam shares what he learned writing for an algorithm-driven platform, why five minutes of good news each morning can shift your whole outlook, and why staying informed doesn't mean knowing everything the second it happens.
About the Guest:
Sam Brooks worked as a screenwriter, then as a story editor at a digital literature startup, where he saw how algorithms push content toward violence and shock value. That experience led him to build Rally, an app that surfaces hopeful news buried under negative content.
Key Takeaways:
- Fear keeps people scrolling longer than hope does, that's simply the business model.
- Just five minutes of good news each morning can shift your mood for the day.
- Most breaking news doesn't need to reach you the second it happens.
- Good news shouldn't be your only news source, ignoring real problems isn't the goal.
- A single incident on social media rarely tells the whole, verified story.
