558 - Corey Congilio preaches the blues and takes on a great white shark

Brian, Blake, and Richard are back for Episode 558 of the Chasing Tone Podcast - Corey Congilio preaches the blues and takes on a great white shark

The guys are joined by the awesome Corey Congilio for this special episode and we start of with old dad jokes and terrible blues anecdotes. Corey has some new music out and he tells us about the challenges he faced becoming a frontman having been a legendary sideman with so many great acts.

Brian and Corey share a passion for online teaching and so it would be impossible to not cover this aspect of Corey's career. This turns into a historical look at how this evolved for Corey and there are some great industry insights as well as a wealth of tips for any content creators and blues players.

We talk gear from all levels of the budget range and we dig into Corey's personal tastes and his Vintage guitar collection. He has an honest appraisal of what makes a great guitar and digs deep into his love of Bigsby equipped guitars.

Wherever you are on your guitar journey you are gonna love this very special episode!

Brothers Osborne, Fishman, Gear demos, Brian's Whiteboard, Collings, Sire...it’s all in this week’s Chasing Tone!
