Through faith, information is received. Abraham received the promise that was spoken to him by God, and that faith expressed in his reception, was accounted to him for righteousness. This is a demonstration of imputed righteousness which took place before the law of Moses was enacted. This means Abraham (still Abram) was counted righteous as a Gentile. But does that mean he was ultimately saved the same way as us? Is Paul's intended message about instruction for our salvation today, or is he demonstrating this Old Testament Pre-Mosaic law account for a different reason? We continue answering those questions in this episode and more, such as:●Whose righteousness was imputed to Abraham?●Was Abraham justified by faith (according to Paul) or works (according to James)?●Why did the pre-mosaic law saints still have to perform works to maintain salvation? ●How does Abraham's salvation differ from ours? ●What would happen if Abraham broke the covenant that God made with him? IN THIS ROMANS SERIES: ●We will see who Paul was talking to and why. ●Why Paul's mention of the "day of wrath" in Romans 2 makes perfect sense in the context. ●We examine who is being spoken about regarding the "remission of sins." ●Look at- some things that Paul struggled with in the flesh concerning the law and why he's even talking about the law in the first place. ●Identify where the false doctrine of Sonship Edification puts its roots in Romans 8. ●Look at some verses that Universalists use to support their false "salvation of all" claim. ●Find out what the "faith of Christ" is and what it isn't. ●We will see whether or not Gentiles are "grafted into" that Olive Tree in Chapter 11. ●Go over what we are to be "fully persuaded in our own minds" about when we go through our instructions for living life after salvation. ●Learn more about how and why Gentiles were never under the law. ●Look at how prayer works and how it doesn't work today. ●Look at today's practical application compared to how Paul addresses the Jews in the flesh in this letter. ●Go over the fact that no one outside of Paul's "dispensation of grace" enjoyed eternal security, nor were they saved by grace through faith ALONE, without works. ●Find out the who, how, and why of "marking" others. ●And we'll tie it all up with the Revelation of the Mystery which was kept secret since the world began. 👉 Our complete Romans Study Playlist: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLBqHPdT-s8SDyE2jbfMZUBQDGz7nijJiN Scripture References for this podcast:2 Corinthians 5:21Deuteronomy 6:25Matthew 23Ezekiel 14:14, 20Job 27:6Matthew 5:20Acts 92 Samuel 22:21, 25Psalm 18:20, 241 Kings 8:32Titus 1:9Ezekiel 18:24Ephesians 1:13Romans 16:26Romans 15:18Acts 16:30-311 Corinthians 15:1-41 John 3:72 Corinthians 5:21Romans 4:3, 9, 22Romans 5:19Matthew 24:13Acts 3:19Romans 4:2, 5Genesis 15:8-21Genesis 17:1James 2:14, 17-24Colossians 1:27Romans 5:132 Corinthians 5:19Like us on Facebook @ https://www.facebook.com/truthtimeradio Visit https://TruthTimeRadio.com to subscribe to our Podcast & Blog.
