00:00:19.653 --> 00:00:26.245
Welcome, welcome, welcome back to train the mind, not the brain, podcast, and I'm your host, greg Hunt.
00:00:26.245 --> 00:00:28.762
Welcome back everyone and man.
00:00:28.762 --> 00:00:33.808
I have a great topic to talk about today, and it's the power of unity.
00:00:33.808 --> 00:00:44.148
The power of unity lies in its ability to bring people together, create strengths and diversity, and achieve common goals.
00:00:44.148 --> 00:00:55.929
When individuals unite, despite their differences, they can overcome challenges, foster understanding and make positive change in their communities and beyond.
00:00:55.929 --> 00:01:05.989
Unity amplifies collective efforts and its ability to collaborate and had collaboration, leading to a greater resilience and progress.
00:01:05.989 --> 00:01:09.822
Especially in a world that's often divided by differences.
00:01:09.822 --> 00:01:24.483
Unity serves as a reminder that we are all stronger together and when we stand together, the power of unity has its potential to bring about positive change on a global scale.
00:01:24.483 --> 00:01:38.754
Whether in the face of social injustice, political oppression or environmental crisis, unity is a force that can shape a brighter and more equitable future.
00:01:38.754 --> 00:01:46.242
It is a timeless principle that can lead to progress, understanding and a better future for all.
00:01:46.242 --> 00:01:56.930
So, before we get started and just talk about unity and some of my thoughts on unity, please make sure you hit that share, like and subscribe button.
00:01:56.930 --> 00:01:58.859
Definitely support my podcast.
00:01:58.859 --> 00:02:00.286
I would really appreciate that.
00:02:00.286 --> 00:02:03.286
So, with that being said, let's dive in.
00:02:05.219 --> 00:02:14.348
Now, let's, let's say, let's just get this straight Unity doesn't mean everyone is the same.
00:02:14.348 --> 00:02:27.051
It really just means people from different backgrounds, cultures, different perspectives just come together to bring a unique strength and an idea to the table.
00:02:27.051 --> 00:02:28.205
That's all it is.
00:02:28.205 --> 00:02:34.578
This type of diversity can lead to more innovation, solutions and adventure experience.
00:02:34.578 --> 00:02:45.966
In my opinion, when individuals come together with a shared purpose, you know we can achieve more than if we could do anything on our own.
00:02:45.966 --> 00:03:00.189
Unity, in my opinion, you know it harness that collective strength, skills and resources of growth to overcome challenges and to set out to reach that common goal.
00:03:00.189 --> 00:03:05.688
And so that kind of really leads to my second thought.
00:03:05.688 --> 00:03:08.022
We talked about common goal.
00:03:08.022 --> 00:03:10.769
You know I'm talking about having a common purpose.
00:03:12.479 --> 00:03:23.669
Unity, in my opinion, often revolves around a shared goal or purpose, whether it's on a team, in your community or even a nation.
00:03:23.669 --> 00:03:29.950
Having a common objective can help rally people towards a common cause.
00:03:29.950 --> 00:03:34.729
It is a driving force for people to make change.
00:03:34.729 --> 00:03:42.692
When a shared vision, unity typically begins with that shared vision or objective.
00:03:42.692 --> 00:03:49.770
You know it's that common goal or purpose that unites individuals, teams and communities.
00:03:49.770 --> 00:04:04.882
Especially with sports teams and just teamwork in general, you know unity that shows the greatest example of teamwork is having unity, especially in the world of sports.
00:04:04.882 --> 00:04:19.805
Unity is that example that exemplifies by teams working together towards a common goal to be able to reach that championship or that Super Bowl that's coming up here this Sunday.
00:04:19.805 --> 00:04:27.050
But this concept of teamwork and unity is not only for sports.
00:04:27.050 --> 00:04:33.225
It's in your everyday life, it's in your professional field, it's in your relationship.
00:04:34.199 --> 00:04:36.788
Unity is in everything that we do.
00:04:36.788 --> 00:04:47.754
But when you have unity, you also you have to have respect and understanding.
00:04:47.754 --> 00:05:10.584
I'm gonna say that again when you have unity, you have to have respect and understanding, because unity requires respect for each and everybody differences and to have the willingness to understand a wide range of viewpoints.
00:05:10.584 --> 00:05:21.540
But it's really finding that common ground where we can acknowledge and appreciate what makes each individual unique.
00:05:21.540 --> 00:05:25.000
Unity thrives off of that.
00:05:25.000 --> 00:05:37.081
Unity thrives when there's respect for individual differences and having an inclusive environment that values diversity.
00:05:37.081 --> 00:05:44.766
It's about recognizing and grasping that unique contribution of each member.
00:05:44.766 --> 00:05:46.069
That's contributing.
00:05:47.295 --> 00:06:20.004
When we talk about unity, I think you also have to talk about unity in a way of it have to be communicated effectively, have effective communication when we talk about unity, because when you have effective communication it opens up a lot of doors and a lot of understanding and an open and effective communication is essential for unity.
00:06:20.004 --> 00:06:31.764
It ensures that everyone is on the same page, everyone understands their roles and they can make the contribution more effectively.
00:06:31.764 --> 00:06:39.846
As you know, unity when you're unified, it helps you overcome challenges.
00:06:39.846 --> 00:07:00.548
In the face of adversity or challenges, unity can provide the strength and resilience that each individual needs Because, remember, we can't do it on our own, but if we pull it for one another, we can do a lot of great things.
00:07:00.548 --> 00:07:02.899
I once heard from a mentor.
00:07:02.899 --> 00:07:07.086
He said if you want to move fast, go by yourself.
00:07:07.086 --> 00:07:11.324
If you want to go far, go with someone else.
00:07:11.324 --> 00:07:18.240
And that's what we're talking about, that power of unity, how you can do much, much more when you're working together.
00:07:18.240 --> 00:07:48.668
Another story came to mind is about the Clisdales very strong, powerful horses and I think if you just have a Clisdale pull, I think a Clisdale, they said, can pull by itself, you know, like you know, 9000 pounds by itself, but if you have two working together, they can pull over 25 to 30,000 pounds together.
00:07:48.668 --> 00:07:58.444
They don't just double their size and weight that they can pull, they pull a lot more because they're working together.
00:07:58.444 --> 00:08:13.303
So that's what unity is all about when you can overcome these challenges and then, when people you know come together, they can support each other and find solutions to complex problems.
00:08:14.954 --> 00:08:25.141
I want to talk about that resilience being resilient because, think, being resilient attaches itself to being unified.
00:08:25.141 --> 00:08:39.916
You know, being unified can provide resilience in the face of any adversity, whether it's you facing a family challenge, a business challenge, on a sports team challenge or even in our society.
00:08:39.916 --> 00:08:46.707
Unity can really help us weather difficult times when we stick together.
00:08:46.707 --> 00:08:55.738
But it also it also can be a positive impact, and what I mean by that.
00:08:55.738 --> 00:08:58.690
Unity is the catalyst for positive change.
00:08:58.690 --> 00:09:13.543
It's the force behind social movement, political resolutions and even humanitarian efforts, business ventures, community initiatives or any other endeavors.
00:09:13.543 --> 00:09:33.081
Unity can be a positive change and then when people unite for a just cause, they can create a lasting change that really impacts and can create remarkable results because of that positive impact that unity creates.
00:09:34.750 --> 00:09:42.221
I will also say with unity, you want to be consistent.
00:09:42.221 --> 00:09:54.203
You want to be consistent with being unified and having unity, because unity requires consistency in your purpose and action.
00:09:54.203 --> 00:10:04.485
It's about maintaining that shared vision over time and sustaining that commitment to that collective goal.
00:10:04.485 --> 00:10:06.956
You can't just be one and done.
00:10:06.956 --> 00:10:20.399
You have to have a long term commitment when it comes to being unified, and you got to have consistency with your unity because what happened?
00:10:20.399 --> 00:10:22.903
It would create that long term success.
00:10:23.750 --> 00:10:32.144
Because unified people or group of people often have a higher likelihood of long term success.
00:10:32.144 --> 00:10:47.690
Because, as they can adapt to change in circumstances and overcome obstacles, they become more effective or more effectively doing so because they are unified, because they are together.
00:10:47.690 --> 00:10:49.467
They are the foxhole.
00:10:49.467 --> 00:10:54.669
Together, they are back to back, together in this Long term success.
00:10:54.669 --> 00:11:23.441
It also allows you to have personal growth when you have long term success, because long term success leads to personal growth and individuals within a unified group may experience personal growth as they learn from one another, as they develop new skills and gain a sense of belonging or purpose, they acquire personal growth.
00:11:23.441 --> 00:11:28.669
That's going to be by default, because we always learn from one another.
00:11:29.672 --> 00:11:41.039
I once heard my mentor said to me before that, greg, if you want to be around successful people, if you want to be successful, you got to be around successful people.
00:11:41.039 --> 00:11:53.546
And by saying that, because you're going to learn from successful people, you're going to see and hear and just watch how they do things and watch how they think.
00:11:53.546 --> 00:12:02.159
So that's part of that being unified, being together, you start to get some of that success because you're around successful people.
00:12:02.159 --> 00:12:04.514
I would say, with unity.
00:12:04.514 --> 00:12:25.671
Unity helps continue your work, because I think when you're unified, or let's say, if you're not unified, it's not going to be sustainable, because unity is not a one-time achievement, it's an ongoing effort.
00:12:25.671 --> 00:12:34.000
It requires open communication, cooperation and commitment to maintaining connections and relationships.
00:12:34.000 --> 00:12:49.129
When you build a unity and you build a unified team amongst people and a group of people that have this common goal that they want to achieve, unity is just so, so important.
00:12:49.129 --> 00:13:02.283
I think people underestimate the power of unity and nobody that I know of that that created a lot of success have done it on their own.
00:13:02.283 --> 00:13:08.746
It has been somebody that gave them some encouragement, gave them some guidance along the way.
00:13:08.746 --> 00:13:17.269
Maybe it was a mentor, maybe they got some type of advice, but people got to understand.
00:13:17.269 --> 00:13:28.030
When you are unified and you're together, you will grow and you will have a lot of success when you're working with other people.
00:13:28.331 --> 00:13:50.744
I didn't want to be too long with this, this topic, but I just wanted to kind of share some of my thoughts off the top of my head about unity, because this is a topic that really we could go for an hour talking about unity and just how powerful unity really really is, and in just life and everyday life.
00:13:51.605 --> 00:14:15.666
But, with that being said, you know, whether you know you have business or a community sports team, or even on a global scale, being unified is a powerful force that can lead to cooperation, progress and the achievement of a shared goal.
00:14:15.666 --> 00:14:19.822
It is a reminder that together we can accomplish more.
00:14:19.822 --> 00:14:27.123
Unity is a powerful concept that transcends borders and bring people together.
00:14:27.123 --> 00:14:36.727
It's the idea that when we work collectively, we can achieve more than if we were standing divided.
00:14:36.727 --> 00:14:41.144
So that's just some of my, my last thoughts on that.
00:14:41.144 --> 00:14:47.682
I really hope that you took away a nugget, that really a spark.
00:14:47.682 --> 00:14:50.291
You know you two want to be unified.
00:14:50.291 --> 00:14:58.856
Like I said, please share, like, because unity is a powerful concept that people truly don't understand.
00:14:58.856 --> 00:15:27.275
But with that being said, guys, thanks for listening and until next time, keep doing what you're doing and stay in the home.
00:00:19.653 --> 00:00:26.245
Welcome, welcome, welcome back to train the mind, not the brain, podcast, and I'm your host, greg Hunt.
00:00:26.245 --> 00:00:28.762
Welcome back everyone and man.
00:00:28.762 --> 00:00:33.808
I have a great topic to talk about today, and it's the power of unity.
00:00:33.808 --> 00:00:44.148
The power of unity lies in its ability to bring people together, create strengths and diversity, and achieve common goals.
00:00:44.148 --> 00:00:55.929
When individuals unite, despite their differences, they can overcome challenges, foster understanding and make positive change in their communities and beyond.
00:00:55.929 --> 00:01:05.989
Unity amplifies collective efforts and its ability to collaborate and had collaboration, leading to a greater resilience and progress.
00:01:05.989 --> 00:01:09.822
Especially in a world that's often divided by differences.
00:01:09.822 --> 00:01:24.483
Unity serves as a reminder that we are all stronger together and when we stand together, the power of unity has its potential to bring about positive change on a global scale.
00:01:24.483 --> 00:01:38.754
Whether in the face of social injustice, political oppression or environmental crisis, unity is a force that can shape a brighter and more equitable future.
00:01:38.754 --> 00:01:46.242
It is a timeless principle that can lead to progress, understanding and a better future for all.
00:01:46.242 --> 00:01:56.930
So, before we get started and just talk about unity and some of my thoughts on unity, please make sure you hit that share, like and subscribe button.
00:01:56.930 --> 00:01:58.859
Definitely support my podcast.
00:01:58.859 --> 00:02:00.286
I would really appreciate that.
00:02:00.286 --> 00:02:03.286
So, with that being said, let's dive in.
00:02:05.219 --> 00:02:14.348
Now, let's, let's say, let's just get this straight Unity doesn't mean everyone is the same.
00:02:14.348 --> 00:02:27.051
It really just means people from different backgrounds, cultures, different perspectives just come together to bring a unique strength and an idea to the table.
00:02:27.051 --> 00:02:28.205
That's all it is.
00:02:28.205 --> 00:02:34.578
This type of diversity can lead to more innovation, solutions and adventure experience.
00:02:34.578 --> 00:02:45.966
In my opinion, when individuals come together with a shared purpose, you know we can achieve more than if we could do anything on our own.
00:02:45.966 --> 00:03:00.189
Unity, in my opinion, you know it harness that collective strength, skills and resources of growth to overcome challenges and to set out to reach that common goal.
00:03:00.189 --> 00:03:05.688
And so that kind of really leads to my second thought.
00:03:05.688 --> 00:03:08.022
We talked about common goal.
00:03:08.022 --> 00:03:10.769
You know I'm talking about having a common purpose.
00:03:12.479 --> 00:03:23.669
Unity, in my opinion, often revolves around a shared goal or purpose, whether it's on a team, in your community or even a nation.
00:03:23.669 --> 00:03:29.950
Having a common objective can help rally people towards a common cause.
00:03:29.950 --> 00:03:34.729
It is a driving force for people to make change.
00:03:34.729 --> 00:03:42.692
When a shared vision, unity typically begins with that shared vision or objective.
00:03:42.692 --> 00:03:49.770
You know it's that common goal or purpose that unites individuals, teams and communities.
00:03:49.770 --> 00:04:04.882
Especially with sports teams and just teamwork in general, you know unity that shows the greatest example of teamwork is having unity, especially in the world of sports.
00:04:04.882 --> 00:04:19.805
Unity is that example that exemplifies by teams working together towards a common goal to be able to reach that championship or that Super Bowl that's coming up here this Sunday.
00:04:19.805 --> 00:04:27.050
But this concept of teamwork and unity is not only for sports.
00:04:27.050 --> 00:04:33.225
It's in your everyday life, it's in your professional field, it's in your relationship.
00:04:34.199 --> 00:04:36.788
Unity is in everything that we do.
00:04:36.788 --> 00:04:47.754
But when you have unity, you also you have to have respect and understanding.
00:04:47.754 --> 00:05:10.584
I'm gonna say that again when you have unity, you have to have respect and understanding, because unity requires respect for each and everybody differences and to have the willingness to understand a wide range of viewpoints.
00:05:10.584 --> 00:05:21.540
But it's really finding that common ground where we can acknowledge and appreciate what makes each individual unique.
00:05:21.540 --> 00:05:25.000
Unity thrives off of that.
00:05:25.000 --> 00:05:37.081
Unity thrives when there's respect for individual differences and having an inclusive environment that values diversity.
00:05:37.081 --> 00:05:44.766
It's about recognizing and grasping that unique contribution of each member.
00:05:44.766 --> 00:05:46.069
That's contributing.
00:05:47.295 --> 00:06:20.004
When we talk about unity, I think you also have to talk about unity in a way of it have to be communicated effectively, have effective communication when we talk about unity, because when you have effective communication it opens up a lot of doors and a lot of understanding and an open and effective communication is essential for unity.
00:06:20.004 --> 00:06:31.764
It ensures that everyone is on the same page, everyone understands their roles and they can make the contribution more effectively.
00:06:31.764 --> 00:06:39.846
As you know, unity when you're unified, it helps you overcome challenges.
00:06:39.846 --> 00:07:00.548
In the face of adversity or challenges, unity can provide the strength and resilience that each individual needs Because, remember, we can't do it on our own, but if we pull it for one another, we can do a lot of great things.
00:07:00.548 --> 00:07:02.899
I once heard from a mentor.
00:07:02.899 --> 00:07:07.086
He said if you want to move fast, go by yourself.
00:07:07.086 --> 00:07:11.324
If you want to go far, go with someone else.
00:07:11.324 --> 00:07:18.240
And that's what we're talking about, that power of unity, how you can do much, much more when you're working together.
00:07:18.240 --> 00:07:48.668
00:07:48.668 --> 00:07:58.444
They don't just double their size and weight that they can pull, they pull a lot more because they're working together.
00:07:58.444 --> 00:08:13.303
So that's what unity is all about when you can overcome these challenges and then, when people you know come together, they can support each other and find solutions to complex problems.
00:08:14.954 --> 00:08:25.141
I want to talk about that resilience being resilient because, think, being resilient attaches itself to being unified.
00:08:25.141 --> 00:08:39.916
You know, being unified can provide resilience in the face of any adversity, whether it's you facing a family challenge, a business challenge, on a sports team challenge or even in our society.
00:08:39.916 --> 00:08:46.707
Unity can really help us weather difficult times when we stick together.
00:08:46.707 --> 00:08:55.738
But it also it also can be a positive impact, and what I mean by that.
00:08:55.738 --> 00:08:58.690
Unity is the catalyst for positive change.
00:08:58.690 --> 00:09:13.543
It's the force behind social movement, political resolutions and even humanitarian efforts, business ventures, community initiatives or any other endeavors.
00:09:13.543 --> 00:09:33.081
Unity can be a positive change and then when people unite for a just cause, they can create a lasting change that really impacts and can create remarkable results because of that positive impact that unity creates.
00:09:34.750 --> 00:09:42.221
I will also say with unity, you want to be consistent.
00:09:42.221 --> 00:09:54.203
You want to be consistent with being unified and having unity, because unity requires consistency in your purpose and action.
00:09:54.203 --> 00:10:04.485
It's about maintaining that shared vision over time and sustaining that commitment to that collective goal.
00:10:04.485 --> 00:10:06.956
You can't just be one and done.
00:10:06.956 --> 00:10:20.399
You have to have a long term commitment when it comes to being unified, and you got to have consistency with your unity because what happened?
00:10:20.399 --> 00:10:22.903
It would create that long term success.
00:10:23.750 --> 00:10:32.144
Because unified people or group of people often have a higher likelihood of long term success.
00:10:32.144 --> 00:10:47.690
Because, as they can adapt to change in circumstances and overcome obstacles, they become more effective or more effectively doing so because they are unified, because they are together.
00:10:47.690 --> 00:10:49.467
They are the foxhole.
00:10:49.467 --> 00:10:54.669
Together, they are back to back, together in this Long term success.
00:10:54.669 --> 00:11:23.441
It also allows you to have personal growth when you have long term success, because long term success leads to personal growth and individuals within a unified group may experience personal growth as they learn from one another, as they develop new skills and gain a sense of belonging or purpose, they acquire personal growth.
00:11:23.441 --> 00:11:28.669
That's going to be by default, because we always learn from one another.
00:11:29.672 --> 00:11:41.039
I once heard my mentor said to me before that, greg, if you want to be around successful people, if you want to be successful, you got to be around successful people.
00:11:41.039 --> 00:11:53.546
And by saying that, because you're going to learn from successful people, you're going to see and hear and just watch how they do things and watch how they think.
00:11:53.546 --> 00:12:02.159
So that's part of that being unified, being together, you start to get some of that success because you're around successful people.
00:12:02.159 --> 00:12:04.514
I would say, with unity.
00:12:04.514 --> 00:12:25.671
Unity helps continue your work, because I think when you're unified, or let's say, if you're not unified, it's not going to be sustainable, because unity is not a one-time achievement, it's an ongoing effort.
00:12:25.671 --> 00:12:34.000
It requires open communication, cooperation and commitment to maintaining connections and relationships.
00:12:34.000 --> 00:12:49.129
When you build a unity and you build a unified team amongst people and a group of people that have this common goal that they want to achieve, unity is just so, so important.
00:12:49.129 --> 00:13:02.283
I think people underestimate the power of unity and nobody that I know of that that created a lot of success have done it on their own.
00:13:02.283 --> 00:13:08.746
It has been somebody that gave them some encouragement, gave them some guidance along the way.
00:13:08.746 --> 00:13:17.269
Maybe it was a mentor, maybe they got some type of advice, but people got to understand.
00:13:17.269 --> 00:13:28.030
When you are unified and you're together, you will grow and you will have a lot of success when you're working with other people.
00:13:28.331 --> 00:13:50.744
I didn't want to be too long with this, this topic, but I just wanted to kind of share some of my thoughts off the top of my head about unity, because this is a topic that really we could go for an hour talking about unity and just how powerful unity really really is, and in just life and everyday life.
00:13:51.605 --> 00:14:15.666
But, with that being said, you know, whether you know you have business or a community sports team, or even on a global scale, being unified is a powerful force that can lead to cooperation, progress and the achievement of a shared goal.
00:14:15.666 --> 00:14:19.822
It is a reminder that together we can accomplish more.
00:14:19.822 --> 00:14:27.123
Unity is a powerful concept that transcends borders and bring people together.
00:14:27.123 --> 00:14:36.727
It's the idea that when we work collectively, we can achieve more than if we were standing divided.
00:14:36.727 --> 00:14:41.144
So that's just some of my, my last thoughts on that.
00:14:41.144 --> 00:14:47.682
I really hope that you took away a nugget, that really a spark.
00:14:47.682 --> 00:14:50.291
You know you two want to be unified.
00:14:50.291 --> 00:14:58.856
Like I said, please share, like, because unity is a powerful concept that people truly don't understand.
00:14:58.856 --> 00:15:27.275
But with that being said, guys, thanks for listening and until next time, keep doing what you're doing and stay in the home.
