On this podcast we reference getting comfortable with people who make us uncomfortable with stories of unlikely friendships. Kaylie & Jennifer gives reverence to the topic with some verses out of James and a verse out of Ephesians about unity. And to wrap it up, we've got some great response ideas for you. We want to thank Enric Sifa for allowing us to use his beautiful songs "Dedication to the Queen of Salem" and “Lights are Bright.” You can find his music on iTunes or on his website enricsifa.com.
Jennifer's LIST: Getting comfortable with people resourcesBob Goff said, “Most of us don't need more information; we need more love.” That is more than true, but information can help us see others with more compassionate eyes. Just remember that learning about people groups and issues isn’t the same thing as getting to know an individual. Always remember that people are individuals, and don’t forget commandment #1 - LOVE.
I also want to point out that some of these movies may have a R rating. If you are a person that has convictions to avoid those types of movies, I applaud you. That’s a brave choice. Don’t feel like you should or shouldn’t watch something just because I say it. I’m not the Holy Spirit. Amen and Amen.
