Did you ever wonder what your pastor didn't say on Sunday? This is The Afterthought Show, a podcast from Canyon Ridge Baptist Church in San Diego, California, featuring hosts Zane Garza and Pastor Chris Chadwick. Inspired to help Christians walk with Jesus throughout the week, they dive into biblical truths that didn't make it into Sunday morning's expositional preaching message. In this milestone episode one hundred, Zane and Pastor Chadwick celebrate the podcast's journey, debate the merits of a donut hot dog, and introduce the new sermon series on the book of Revelation. They explore the inspiration of Scripture as the sole authority, the importance of avoiding unverified internet theology, and how to live with urgency as strangers and pilgrims in this world. The episode wraps up with a lively discussion about the best Pop-Tart flavors, some excellent sabbatical book recommendations, and a mention of Burnie.
