What if crying out to God isn't a sign of weak faith, but evidence of how deeply we trust Him?
In this episode of Scripture Adventures, we're exploring the biblical practice of lament and what God's Word teaches us about bringing our grief, fears, frustrations, and unanswered questions before Him.
Through the Psalms, the example of Jesus, and Jehoshaphat's response in 2 Chronicles 20, we'll discover how lament, remembrance, and thanksgiving can exist together. I'm also sharing a personal reflection I wrote 13 years ago and how God is continuing to deepen my understanding of what it means to cry out to Him.
Because trusting God doesn't mean we never struggle. Sometimes faith looks like continuing to seek Him when nothing around us has changed.
