News & events:
September 12th is the final class in my Intro to Psychoanalysis year long course! We'll focus on Frantz Fanon and liberation psychology, and take a look at Thomas Szasz, R.D. Laing and the anti-psychiatry movement, as well as Patricia Gherovici’s The Puerto Rican Syndrome. That will set us up nicely for what we’re diving into next: a close reading of From the Clinic to the Streets: Psychoanalysis for Revolutionary Futures (2026) by Dr. Lara Sheehi.
