EP 106:INSIDE SPIRE ACADEMY WITH LELAN ROGERS

This month we take a look inside the Spire Academy with managing director Ted Meekma and Director of Lacrosse Lelan Rogers. Throughout the show we discuss what exactly the Spire Academy is, the mission of the program, and what life inside the academy looks like for student-athletes.

At the Spire Academy they have several high caliber sport offerings, bolstered by the recent addition of boy's lacrosse. Who better to run this "new" sport than a former division one stalwart with midwest ties in Lelan Rogers.

Spire AcademySPIRE Academy Lacrosse programs are ideal for serious lacrosse athletes looking for an intense training environment to prepare for the next level of competition. The Academy serves college-bound high school athletes, as well as high school graduates looking to train/compete for an additional year while seeking the best possible college scholarship opportunities.

NIL is all the rage right now. College and high school athletes across the country have scrambled to cash in on their name, image, and likeness, but there's one big problem: most people are very unclear on what you can and cant do.

In last month's episode, I talk with Freddie and breakdown many of the ins and outs of NIL law, how athletes can determine their value and identify opportunities, and lastly we highlight some of the misconceptions that people have about this new wave of legislation.
