At 22 years old, Melissa moved to Orlando. Actively pursuing the performance side of dance - she also continued to teach and choreograph...which she has always felt called to do. In 2018 she opened Underground Dance Movement - an adult drop in dance studio in the Central Florida area. Her goal has ALWAYS been about the community - NEVER the clout. We dive into her beginnings, where she gets her entrepreneur mind from, operating a business during COVID and the clarity that comes in your 30s.
