Buc-ee’s has become extremely popular across the southeast. The new Buc-ee’s near Auburn really attracts the business. But Buc-ee’s is now suing a small business in Ohio called Beaver’s Mini Mart in Beavercreek, Ohio, which features a cartoon bearer on its signs. It is very similar to Buc-ee’s but it apparently existed before Buc-ee’s expanded beyond Texas in 2018. As a defense, they are saying that the lawsuit is ridiculous because “it is Beavercreek for heaven’s sake. You expect to find in Beavercreek things named ‘beaver.’” I don’t how it will turn out but it’s an odd conflict. We all face conflicts in life. How do you handle them constructively?
