7 Sharp Blu 30: Kirk Franklin, Tyrese Gibson & Polygamy Debate! Plus: Is the England Flag Dividing the Church?
Welcome back to 7 Sharp on Affinity Xtra! Hosts Blu and Roger Moore dive into a fiery discussion on the latest in faith, culture, and current affairs.
The Den of Kings - Kirk Franklin & Relationships: We analyze the controversial Kirk Franklin talk show episode, Den of Kings, featuring Tyrese Gibson, Skyh Black, and DJ Montay, where they discuss relationships and the topic of polygamy. The hosts dissect the conversation around a second wife , and Tyrese's shocking confession about his "body count". The hosts question the accountability and wisdom being shared on such a public platform. We also touch on Kirk Franklin's new single, which the hosts thought was called "Alive", but has been confirmed to be a recent track called "Able".
UK Culture & The Saint George's Flag: The conversation shifts to the UK, where the hosts discuss the rise of the Saint George's flag and the controversy it's causing , particularly in churches with mixed denominations. Is this a sign of patriotism or a painful reminder of racial division and feeling unwelcome for many ethnic people? We explore the history of the flag's association with racism, and the hosts critique the church's silence on the issue.
