The Redemption
Ric Speaks with the Actor About the Mesmerizing New Film Now on DVD & Digital HD.
The spellbinding, faith-based film Peter – The Redemption, now on DVD and Digital HD, artfully retells the biblical narrative of Apostle Peter during the first Christian persecution. Starring Stephen Baldwin (God’s Club, Faith of Our Fathers) as Emperor Nero and John Rhys-Davies (Lord of the Rings, Indiana Jones) as Peter, Peter – The Redemption was celebrated by The Dove Foundation and was awarded their “Faith Friendly Seal for Ages 12+.”
Peter – The Redemption follows Peter as he is tormented by his denial of Christ. Having spent his life attempting to atone for his failures, Peter’s true devotion as a witness for the Lord is tested yet again as he faces certain death at the hand of the cruel Roman Emperor Nero. Will he falter again and let his weakness betray him? Or will he rise up triumphant in his final moment?
A member of the famous Baldwin family of actors including brothers Alec, Billy and Daniel, Stephen Baldwin has been appearing in film and television for 30 years. His film credits include Faith of Our Fathers, Born on the Fourth of July, The Usual Suspects, Bio-Dome and Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle to name just a few. Known as a political conservative and a devout Christian, Stephen has been married to his wife Kennya for more than 25 years and has two daughters
