After she was detained, Herrera’s nightmare began—and it’s a story shared by many in our community. Herrera’s story is told in a new documentary.

San Antonio voters will decide Nov. 3 whether to extend the sales tax supporting Pre-K 4 SA for another 20 years. Proposition A would continue the existing one-eighth-of-one-percent sales and use tax after its authorization expires in 2029, extending funding through 2049.

Voters on San Antonio’s West and Northwest sides will choose a new state representative in November as Democrat Adrian Reyna faces Republican Ricardo “Rick” Martinez for Texas House District 125.
