HR2 - Falcons using second wave of free agency to improve their depth
In hour two Mike Johnson, Beau Morgan, and Ali Mac quickly touch on some of the biggest headlines around the local and national sports scene, continue to react to the Atlanta Falcons signing defensive tackle Ross Blacklock, linebacker Daveren Rayner, offensive linemen Layden Robinson, offensive linemen Brandon Walton, and in corresponding moves releasing tight end Brandon Frazier, defensive tackle Ben Stille, wide receiver Deven Thompkins, and running back Carlos Washington Jr. Mike, Ali, and Beau also explain why they think Robinson provides good offensive line depth for the Falcons but won't push starting left guard Matthew Bergeron or starting right guard Chris Lindstrom for their starting jobs. Then, Ali tests Mike, Dylan, and Beau's movie, sports, and general history knowledge as she takes them back in the day for the halftime portion of the show! The Morning Shift crew also continues to preview the Atlanta Braves’ three game series with the Chicago Cubs that starts tonight in Atlanta, explain why they think ultimate utility man Mauricio Dubón needs to be in the Braves’ lineup for the foreseeable future, and then close out hour two by reacting to the latest news, rumors, and reports in the NFL as they go In The Huddle.
