OM DETTA AVSNITT
In the early 1960s, George Carroll seemingly vanished without a trace, leaving behind a wife and four young children on Long Island. For decades, his children were told the same story: their father had gone out for cigarettes and simply never came back.
But as they grew older, that explanation stopped making sense.
Why had no missing persons report ever been filed? Why had George never picked up his final paycheck? And why did members of his own family insist that he would never have abandoned his children?
Decades later, one of George’s sons began searching for answers—eventually turning his attention to the very home where the family had lived when George disappeared. What followed involved long-buried family secrets, allegations of abuse, a mysterious deathbed reaction, and an eerily specific psychic reading.
In Episode 46 of Stop! Who Does That?, Jackie and Jenna dive into the haunting case of George and Dorothy Carroll—a disappearance that left one family questioning everything they thought they knew about their childhood.
Because sometimes the truth isn’t hundreds of miles away.
Sometimes…it’s much closer to home.
