OM DETTA AVSNITT
The Seattle Seahawks beat the Chargers 30-23 to move to 3-1, and that deserves credit, because wins are hard to come by in the NFL. But we need to talk, because there were two different Seahawks teams on the field. One had a swarming defense, a nasty blitz package and four turnovers. The other committed 14 penalties for 150 yards and let Los Angeles climb back into the game. We get into why Seattle should stay aggressive on defense, why the flags have to be cleaned up, and why the Seahawks still knew how to close it out.
We also give flowers to Emanuel Wilson after a 120-yard scrimmage game, react to the Adam Schefter report on Joe Mixon, and answer the Sam Darnold questions filling the inbox. Plus, Rashid Shaheed's 28-yard touchdown run out of the backfield, some respect for Justin Herbert, and a look ahead to a huge October, starting with the undefeated 49ers at Lumen Field on Sunday, then the Broncos, Chiefs and Bears.
