OM DETTA AVSNITT
In this episode of Reading Nook Magic, we sit down with the extraordinary Ava Morgyn, author of Bane Witch, for a conversation that feels less like an interview and more like an initiation. Ava has empowered us from the very beginning through her words, her presence, and the unapologetic depth she brings to both her work and her life. Her writing carries layers upon layers, and so does she. We barely scratched the surface here, and you can feel it.
While we ran into some technical difficulties with the video, the audio is absolutely worth your time. This conversation will leave you wanting more more of Ava, more of her story, and more of every sentence she has ever written. There’s a gravity to the way she speaks about power, pain, justice, and womanhood that lingers long after the episode ends.
From Bane Witch alone, there are countless lines that feel almost unnervingly real quotes that hit that intuitive nerve, the quiet magic of being pulled toward something you can’t fully explain. Lines like
“Every step is agonizing and yet I delight in the pain. It is the first thing that is truly mine.”
“We don’t fear men in this house. Men fear us.”
“If I had shown up on your doorstep, told you that you were an ancient weapon magically designed to be a defender of women and children… I would have ruined it all.”
Ava’s social media carries that same magic witchy, honest, and deeply validating. Every post somehow manages to make us feel seen and understood, like she’s naming something we’ve always known but never quite had the words for.
This episode is for anyone who craves stories with teeth, intuition with purpose, and magic that lives just beneath the surface of everyday life. Listen in and be prepared to want more.
