00:00:00.440 --> 00:00:04.120
Our foundering fathers here in this country, brought about the
2
00:00:04.160 --> 00:00:07.120
only true revolution that has ever taken place in man's history.
3
00:00:07.440 --> 00:00:11.080
Evolve the idea that you and I have within ourselves,
4
00:00:11.080 --> 00:00:14.039
the god given right and the ability to determine our
5
00:00:14.080 --> 00:00:14.759
own destiny.
6
00:00:15.480 --> 00:00:20.039
The United States of America the greatest nation in history,
7
00:00:20.519 --> 00:00:24.359
ordained by our founders to be guided by divine providence,
8
00:00:25.000 --> 00:00:30.239
but today we are witnessing the orchestrated disintegration of America.
9
00:00:31.039 --> 00:00:34.320
Take a few seconds and take a look around your town,
10
00:00:34.840 --> 00:00:39.119
your state, look at your country and your world, and
11
00:00:39.320 --> 00:00:42.799
boldly ask what in the hell is going on?
12
00:00:43.600 --> 00:00:46.399
Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.
13
00:00:47.240 --> 00:00:49.719
We didn't pass it on to our children in the bloodstream.
14
00:00:50.159 --> 00:00:52.359
The only way they can inherit the freedom we have
15
00:00:52.439 --> 00:00:56.479
known is if we fight for it, protect it, defend it,
16
00:00:56.840 --> 00:00:59.280
and then hand it to them with the well taught
17
00:00:59.359 --> 00:01:01.799
lessons of how they in their lifetime. Let's do the same.
18
00:01:02.079 --> 00:01:06.079
Welcome to the podcast Project Third Eye Opened, where we
19
00:01:06.319 --> 00:01:10.560
dare to question with boldness the events that are unfolding
20
00:01:10.599 --> 00:01:14.079
around us that others won't. At the end of the day,
21
00:01:14.560 --> 00:01:18.719
it is we the people who will decide the destiny
22
00:01:19.040 --> 00:01:23.599
of the Nation. Now introducing your host, Tony L.
23
00:01:28.760 --> 00:01:29.519
Greens there one.
24
00:01:29.840 --> 00:01:34.239
This is the project that I opened and this is
25
00:01:34.480 --> 00:01:40.560
another very special UH interview that I'm bringing to you,
26
00:01:41.159 --> 00:01:44.359
and we are speaking with mister Jesse Mass.
27
00:01:45.159 --> 00:01:52.079
He describes himself as an activist, entrepreneur. He actually a
28
00:01:52.120 --> 00:01:57.959
fellow podcast hoster, an author, and he is dedicated to
29
00:01:58.000 --> 00:02:00.599
a very interesting subject that are all of y'all.
30
00:02:01.200 --> 00:02:02.760
No. In regards to.
31
00:02:04.359 --> 00:02:11.719
He called you achieving the equitable society, that keyword being equality.
32
00:02:12.319 --> 00:02:16.960
So let's get his from the viewing v point on
33
00:02:17.000 --> 00:02:22.439
this and see how it is interesting to me and you.
34
00:02:22.479 --> 00:02:24.960
So let's let's move forward. How you doing, Jesse?
35
00:02:25.800 --> 00:02:28.039
I'm doing all right? And I also go by j D.
36
00:02:28.680 --> 00:02:31.080
Either one. I know my name popped up as Jesse,
37
00:02:31.199 --> 00:02:33.960
but yeah, what.
38
00:02:33.960 --> 00:02:36.800
Is I guess we know what Jamie? What what is?
39
00:02:36.840 --> 00:02:37.199
What is d?
40
00:02:37.879 --> 00:02:40.159
D is the first initial of my middle name. I
41
00:02:40.199 --> 00:02:42.360
actually been going by j D. My dad used to
42
00:02:42.439 --> 00:02:44.039
call me that as a young child.
43
00:02:44.120 --> 00:02:46.159
But yeah, okay, well let me let me correct that
44
00:02:46.319 --> 00:02:49.879
j duh. That's all right, if that go along with it?
45
00:02:49.960 --> 00:02:55.400
The right play I'm gonna call you play.
46
00:02:55.319 --> 00:02:58.599
There you go, there, you go, tell the first about
47
00:02:58.639 --> 00:03:02.000
your j d what do you do and when and
48
00:03:02.159 --> 00:03:02.960
why should we care?
49
00:03:04.439 --> 00:03:10.800
So, my parents wanted to raise their children. Uh and
50
00:03:10.840 --> 00:03:14.240
for those that are just listening as a as white
51
00:03:14.280 --> 00:03:17.360
children in and around black community, to them, that was
52
00:03:17.479 --> 00:03:21.599
very important to give us an opportunity at a life
53
00:03:21.680 --> 00:03:27.319
they'd never had coming from that era of real segregation
54
00:03:27.639 --> 00:03:30.080
and whatnot.
55
00:03:30.120 --> 00:03:32.759
Let's be clear when you say they, do you mean
56
00:03:32.840 --> 00:03:34.680
your parents or the community?
57
00:03:35.520 --> 00:03:42.039
My parents being they thank you for that, and so, uh,
58
00:03:42.919 --> 00:03:46.280
you know, civil rights was important to my father, especially.
59
00:03:46.439 --> 00:03:53.080
My mother had close relationships that also wanted that, and
60
00:03:53.120 --> 00:03:56.360
she she was They were both kind of into fighting
61
00:03:56.400 --> 00:03:58.000
the systems that be my mother.
62
00:03:59.000 --> 00:04:01.360
Let's let it, but I understand what part of the
63
00:04:01.400 --> 00:04:02.000
country is this?
64
00:04:02.680 --> 00:04:04.840
Okay? So this is in Saint Louis.
65
00:04:05.199 --> 00:04:08.280
Okay, okay, okay, what period.
66
00:04:08.919 --> 00:04:11.759
During I was born in seventy five, so you know,
67
00:04:12.039 --> 00:04:15.560
we moved to Saint Louis. We were in Philadelphia, my
68
00:04:15.599 --> 00:04:18.360
mother was in med school and we moved to Saint
69
00:04:18.399 --> 00:04:21.360
Louis in the at nineteen eighty Okay, so.
70
00:04:21.800 --> 00:04:24.800
Grew up at eighty the.
71
00:04:25.279 --> 00:04:31.040
Civil rights yeah, I guess sixty sixty five sons Okay, great.
72
00:04:31.600 --> 00:04:36.720
Yep, thank you for clarifying and so it was still, though,
73
00:04:36.839 --> 00:04:40.000
very divided, and we moved into the only community that
74
00:04:40.120 --> 00:04:44.480
was kind of integrating at that time or had recently integrated,
75
00:04:44.519 --> 00:04:48.160
and that was called University City, which anybody in Saint
76
00:04:48.199 --> 00:04:51.399
Louis knows University City is the greatest place on earth,
77
00:04:51.439 --> 00:04:54.279
at least at that time for sure, all right. And
78
00:04:54.399 --> 00:04:57.240
so we moved right next door to who became my
79
00:04:57.360 --> 00:05:00.439
best friends and their family, and it was grandmother, aunts
80
00:05:00.480 --> 00:05:05.120
and uncles. It was you know, the four boys brothers
81
00:05:05.199 --> 00:05:09.920
that I became best friends with, the older two, and
82
00:05:10.000 --> 00:05:15.439
so from four years old, I started to become a
83
00:05:15.480 --> 00:05:18.439
part of this black family and threw them at other people.
84
00:05:18.519 --> 00:05:22.360
And even though the area I grew up in was
85
00:05:22.399 --> 00:05:26.079
fifty percent white, the school district was over eighty percent black,
86
00:05:26.120 --> 00:05:30.040
and really when you got into middle school and high school,
87
00:05:30.040 --> 00:05:36.639
it was over ninety percent black attendees. And so I
88
00:05:36.720 --> 00:05:40.639
developed friendships with my peers, and I happened to be
89
00:05:40.680 --> 00:05:45.600
the least least melanated person amongst them. And because of that,
90
00:05:45.720 --> 00:05:48.800
I got to experience what life was like, sort of
91
00:05:48.839 --> 00:05:51.319
how they were treated by society, how I was treated
92
00:05:51.360 --> 00:05:59.480
differently by society, and I got to start to understand Oh.
93
00:05:59.319 --> 00:06:01.600
So, let me ask you one more question. I'm curious
94
00:06:01.639 --> 00:06:04.519
to ask the questions to top of my head. What's
95
00:06:04.560 --> 00:06:05.360
your ethnicity?
96
00:06:06.199 --> 00:06:08.720
Oh, I'm I'm a white Jewish male.
97
00:06:09.759 --> 00:06:10.040
Okay.
98
00:06:12.759 --> 00:06:20.360
So I So I got to see, you know, discrimination,
99
00:06:20.600 --> 00:06:23.720
I got to see police, you know, harassing us. I
100
00:06:23.759 --> 00:06:27.319
got to see how they weren't able to take things
101
00:06:27.360 --> 00:06:29.240
back in them all and I could go back in
102
00:06:29.319 --> 00:06:31.439
and take them right back. I got to see and
103
00:06:31.519 --> 00:06:33.759
experience a lot of different things. I got to see
104
00:06:33.800 --> 00:06:36.439
an experience when we took my black friends to my
105
00:06:36.519 --> 00:06:40.480
grandparents country club, and you know, and they weren't part
106
00:06:40.480 --> 00:06:42.079
of the help, but they were able to jump in
107
00:06:42.120 --> 00:06:45.160
the pool, and and just the looks that we got
108
00:06:45.199 --> 00:06:48.000
and the murmurs and the talking, and you know how
109
00:06:48.040 --> 00:06:51.480
my grand parents were uncomfortable and all of these different things.
110
00:06:51.560 --> 00:06:54.959
And I really just wanted to understand why. So my
111
00:06:55.079 --> 00:06:58.079
life journey has been really to kind of understand why
112
00:06:58.199 --> 00:07:01.519
racism started, Why did it, why does it exist? What
113
00:07:01.759 --> 00:07:07.839
makes us weaponize segregation instead of be curious about other cultures?
114
00:07:08.319 --> 00:07:12.639
How has that system grown from the time it started?
115
00:07:12.720 --> 00:07:14.720
And so I've been on a journey to do so,
116
00:07:15.199 --> 00:07:19.399
and I'm now sharing what I've experienced, what I've learned
117
00:07:19.439 --> 00:07:22.160
and what I've found in my theories.
118
00:07:22.639 --> 00:07:28.279
And because I'm interested, because I kind of started on
119
00:07:28.319 --> 00:07:29.480
a similar journey.
120
00:07:29.800 --> 00:07:31.279
I'm nineteen sixty five.
121
00:07:31.120 --> 00:07:40.959
Baby born in the in a southern family. Forced my
122
00:07:41.040 --> 00:07:43.199
dad was in the military, so I was very fortunate
123
00:07:43.240 --> 00:07:46.800
to be able to travel and not just grow up
124
00:07:46.879 --> 00:07:53.800
in the southern community like my cousins and grandparents, so have.
125
00:07:53.879 --> 00:07:58.600
More of a worldview in regards to what is my
126
00:08:00.240 --> 00:08:05.839
world belief all right, And like you, I was curious about.
127
00:08:07.879 --> 00:08:15.879
Cultures, why my people were treated so much differently from
128
00:08:16.959 --> 00:08:20.839
people who we who us as a nation went war
129
00:08:20.879 --> 00:08:27.839
against Japanese, the Mexicans, even with Jews. Jews got a
130
00:08:27.879 --> 00:08:33.600
culture that has my oppression and you know, someone say
131
00:08:33.759 --> 00:08:36.600
worse than ours because you guys got pushed out of countries,
132
00:08:37.080 --> 00:08:37.279
you know.
133
00:08:38.519 --> 00:08:40.919
So I was curious about.
134
00:08:40.639 --> 00:08:45.399
That, and that led me on my path to.
135
00:08:45.480 --> 00:08:50.000
Understand what's up? You know, why is it's an.
136
00:08:50.000 --> 00:08:54.799
Issue and why is it still being an issue. But
137
00:08:55.080 --> 00:08:57.919
I kind of think our past went in litup is
138
00:08:58.559 --> 00:09:05.840
different by how where we ended up. Because so I'm curious,
139
00:09:06.000 --> 00:09:09.759
what have you learned on your journey?
140
00:09:09.879 --> 00:09:19.080
So I learned that racism is about controlling resources, right,
141
00:09:19.360 --> 00:09:24.840
It's about it's not the we use discrimination, we use bigotry,
142
00:09:24.879 --> 00:09:28.120
we use these other harmful methods.
143
00:09:28.279 --> 00:09:32.080
I like to be clear who's we.
144
00:09:33.600 --> 00:09:33.840
Uh.
145
00:09:35.240 --> 00:09:39.799
Well, European colonizing culture, right, this is where it this
146
00:09:39.879 --> 00:09:44.960
is where it really started. And so but in a
147
00:09:45.039 --> 00:09:50.840
discussion about identifying racism, where anybody, uh, the we is
148
00:09:51.120 --> 00:09:53.879
kind of all of us in the discussion often see
149
00:09:53.960 --> 00:09:56.919
something and go, oh, that was racist because they discriminated,
150
00:09:57.039 --> 00:09:59.840
or that was racist because they don't want that book read,
151
00:09:59.919 --> 00:10:05.639
or that was right. Yet the real racism is controlling resources.
152
00:10:05.759 --> 00:10:11.639
It was a competition to control resources. And so that's
153
00:10:11.679 --> 00:10:16.320
where the real harm is done. In controlling resources, which
154
00:10:16.320 --> 00:10:19.960
means you're controlling opportunities, which means you have systems built
155
00:10:20.000 --> 00:10:24.759
to designed to make things accessible or not accessible, all
156
00:10:24.799 --> 00:10:28.200
of these different things. So I wanted to understand, well,
157
00:10:28.200 --> 00:10:31.639
where did that come from? And if you look at
158
00:10:32.039 --> 00:10:37.200
Europe where less melanated people occupied, especially back you know
159
00:10:37.519 --> 00:10:42.279
six hundred to two thousand years ago, these less melanated
160
00:10:42.279 --> 00:10:46.039
people occupied in area that was less sun, which makes
161
00:10:46.080 --> 00:10:49.320
sense because we don't have the melanin to absorb the sun,
162
00:10:49.679 --> 00:10:52.120
so we need to keep our butts out of the sun,
163
00:10:52.159 --> 00:10:56.279
and we didn't have SPF fifty lotions and all these
164
00:10:56.320 --> 00:10:59.120
different things to keep us occupied. So we were in
165
00:10:59.159 --> 00:11:02.440
that area. Well, that area, because it has less sun,
166
00:11:02.519 --> 00:11:05.679
doesn't have all the natural resources that the earth provides,
167
00:11:05.960 --> 00:11:10.360
and our bodies need all of those natural resources to
168
00:11:10.399 --> 00:11:14.559
be whole and balanced in all of that. So now
169
00:11:15.039 --> 00:11:19.320
we're getting sick when you have less resources. So for
170
00:11:19.399 --> 00:11:21.960
those viewers that can't see, I'm holding up a glass
171
00:11:22.000 --> 00:11:24.360
of water. If you and I thought this was the
172
00:11:24.440 --> 00:11:27.480
last of the water and we both need water, we
173
00:11:27.519 --> 00:11:30.840
wouldn't be having a friendly conversation. Every time I took
174
00:11:30.919 --> 00:11:34.120
a sip of this water, you would be like, that
175
00:11:34.240 --> 00:11:35.840
was a sip I could have had for me and
176
00:11:35.919 --> 00:11:39.320
my family. And so now we develop in this zero
177
00:11:39.440 --> 00:11:42.480
sum mentality, which leads us to a competition, which, if
178
00:11:42.519 --> 00:11:47.399
you understand the term race, we're in a race. Everything
179
00:11:47.440 --> 00:11:51.120
is about competition in our economic structure. That is the
180
00:11:51.120 --> 00:11:54.519
first thing you learn. There is a scarcity of resources
181
00:11:54.559 --> 00:11:58.440
on the planet. Therefore we need to control those resources,
182
00:11:59.080 --> 00:12:03.120
and we're in competition with everybody to gain control of
183
00:12:03.120 --> 00:12:07.279
those resources. So we have such a competitive nature in
184
00:12:07.440 --> 00:12:11.519
our society and Look, I'm not saying this from a
185
00:12:11.679 --> 00:12:15.559
give every kid a trophy and all of that. In sports.
186
00:12:15.639 --> 00:12:19.039
Let it be competitive, but don't let the competition of
187
00:12:19.200 --> 00:12:23.840
sports fuel over into the rest of our life. Let's
188
00:12:23.960 --> 00:12:29.399
understand context, because why can't you and I share space
189
00:12:29.440 --> 00:12:33.519
and podcast land and not be in competition, but just
190
00:12:33.600 --> 00:12:37.440
share the space and both of us have our contributions
191
00:12:37.480 --> 00:12:40.639
to that. Why can't we collaborate, Why can't we cooperate?
192
00:12:40.960 --> 00:12:43.519
Why do we have to see each other as competition?
193
00:12:44.039 --> 00:12:46.759
And if you look at how ingrained that is in
194
00:12:46.799 --> 00:12:53.440
our society, we have such a level of competition in everything,
195
00:12:53.720 --> 00:12:57.200
and then we want to know why humanity doesn't exist
196
00:12:57.240 --> 00:12:59.759
because we don't see each other as humans. We see
197
00:12:59.759 --> 00:13:03.000
each other as competitors. They have we don't. And if
198
00:13:03.039 --> 00:13:08.200
you start to look at the history of Europeans and
199
00:13:08.320 --> 00:13:13.440
Greco Roman culture going into other places, they acknowledged that
200
00:13:13.559 --> 00:13:16.320
these people were willing to share a village to raise
201
00:13:16.360 --> 00:13:20.440
a child. Mentality came out of an abundance mentality Why
202
00:13:20.480 --> 00:13:24.480
because there was an abundance of resources in these areas
203
00:13:24.480 --> 00:13:29.919
where melanated folks lived, and so here they are willing
204
00:13:29.919 --> 00:13:32.559
to share. And we're still coming with that whole. Wait,
205
00:13:32.679 --> 00:13:35.440
if you have it, we don't, we need that, we're
206
00:13:35.440 --> 00:13:37.720
going to take it. And if I'm going to build
207
00:13:37.799 --> 00:13:42.919
a system that says my less melanated skin makes me
208
00:13:43.159 --> 00:13:47.000
better than you, superior than you, smarter than you, all
209
00:13:47.039 --> 00:13:50.200
of these different things, that's a lie. And now I
210
00:13:50.279 --> 00:13:53.120
have to build a system around that lie. And so
211
00:13:53.639 --> 00:13:57.759
all of my system approaches from how do I do education,
212
00:13:57.919 --> 00:14:06.039
how do I do controlling food? How do I do media?
213
00:14:06.440 --> 00:14:09.600
All of the messaging has to be shaped in this
214
00:14:09.759 --> 00:14:14.039
lying way because I really can't tell you, Tony, come here,
215
00:14:14.080 --> 00:14:17.360
I'm gonna screw you over. I'm going to harm you
216
00:14:17.440 --> 00:14:19.679
in every which way I can so that I can
217
00:14:19.759 --> 00:14:23.320
win this race we're in. And you go, yeah, that
218
00:14:23.480 --> 00:14:26.519
sounds great. No, I have to lie to you, to
219
00:14:26.639 --> 00:14:30.360
your children, to your children's children. I have to lie
220
00:14:30.399 --> 00:14:34.080
to my children, my children's children to keep the lie going.
221
00:14:34.440 --> 00:14:38.159
And this becomes a culture, and then we get to
222
00:14:38.360 --> 00:14:40.600
justifying it. Well, it works for us. Look at all
223
00:14:40.639 --> 00:14:43.039
the things that we've gotten from it. So we're in
224
00:14:43.120 --> 00:14:45.840
this competitive nature. That's the nature of the world, This, that,
225
00:14:45.879 --> 00:14:50.120
and the other. Sure it is, and it's not. We
226
00:14:50.159 --> 00:14:53.879
could have built systems around love, around sharing, around caring
227
00:14:53.919 --> 00:14:56.679
for one another, around supporting one another. We could have
228
00:14:56.759 --> 00:14:59.600
still gotten those resources. So I really want us to
229
00:14:59.639 --> 00:15:04.200
go back as less melanated folks, give ourselves a hug
230
00:15:04.240 --> 00:15:06.639
and say we're worthy of this without all of this
231
00:15:06.840 --> 00:15:10.200
manipulation that we created in our systems.
232
00:15:11.000 --> 00:15:15.519
So so first question, does your camera self focus?
233
00:15:16.159 --> 00:15:16.559
Yeah?
234
00:15:17.000 --> 00:15:18.519
Okay, because I'm.
235
00:15:18.120 --> 00:15:19.840
Seeing I'm sorry about that.
236
00:15:19.960 --> 00:15:20.600
It's curious.
237
00:15:20.720 --> 00:15:23.080
I mean, it's not bad, but it's it's someone distracting
238
00:15:23.120 --> 00:15:25.639
a little bit if you're trying to figure out why
239
00:15:25.720 --> 00:15:27.679
you're doing that. But I figured that it was one
240
00:15:27.679 --> 00:15:29.480
of those fancy high tech ones.
241
00:15:30.159 --> 00:15:35.159
Yeah, the camera of the of the computer is very blurry,
242
00:15:35.240 --> 00:15:37.200
and so I got this one, which is great as
243
00:15:37.200 --> 00:15:38.720
long as I don't move, which.
244
00:15:39.840 --> 00:15:42.120
It's on you. You're doing that.
245
00:15:44.080 --> 00:15:51.120
Okay, So uh, that's that's a fascinating take. But question
246
00:15:51.240 --> 00:15:55.600
I'd like to ask questions If that's true, it's all
247
00:15:55.639 --> 00:16:06.399
about a race. So where does economics come into this philosophy?
248
00:16:06.960 --> 00:16:12.159
If you say it's primarily based on you got it,
249
00:16:12.600 --> 00:16:14.600
I want it kind of thing?
250
00:16:15.159 --> 00:16:19.559
Is a RaSE quote unquote.
251
00:16:19.879 --> 00:16:23.279
So economics is a social system too, right, It's part
252
00:16:23.360 --> 00:16:28.240
of our social systems. It's an exchange. How do we
253
00:16:28.279 --> 00:16:32.559
exchange energy? How do we use a medium for exchange,
254
00:16:32.600 --> 00:16:36.759
which the medium for exchange is exchanging energy, We call
255
00:16:36.799 --> 00:16:45.759
it money. We're the only currency, huh currency currency? Okay,
256
00:16:45.840 --> 00:16:49.120
So that means that it should be exchanging, right, because
257
00:16:49.159 --> 00:16:52.639
it should be flowing current, seas should be flowing. So
258
00:16:52.720 --> 00:16:58.200
the moment you howard the currency, you're disrupting the currency,
259
00:16:58.519 --> 00:17:03.039
the current of it. Right, So you're disrupting the change,
260
00:17:03.480 --> 00:17:07.839
I mean, the exchange. Yet we're the only animal that
261
00:17:08.079 --> 00:17:13.599
uses a medium for exchange to live our lives, to
262
00:17:13.920 --> 00:17:17.640
get the food, to get the resources to get.
263
00:17:17.519 --> 00:17:20.359
Whose we humans, humans in general.
264
00:17:20.799 --> 00:17:24.279
Yeah, okay, there's no other animal that are going, yeah,
265
00:17:24.599 --> 00:17:27.640
bring me certain number of leaves and you can have
266
00:17:27.759 --> 00:17:31.720
my tomatoes. Ok that I'm guarding. Right, We're the only
267
00:17:31.759 --> 00:17:36.880
ones that decided to use this medium of exchange to
268
00:17:36.960 --> 00:17:43.079
get what we needed. So in this we could shape
269
00:17:43.119 --> 00:17:49.039
our society to utilize land much differently than we do now.
270
00:17:49.640 --> 00:17:49.799
Right.
271
00:17:50.000 --> 00:17:53.640
We could use these because I live in the Midwest,
272
00:17:53.680 --> 00:17:57.400
so you drive outside of the city streets immediately or
273
00:17:57.440 --> 00:18:02.000
surrounded by corn, and soy use that for broccoli and
274
00:18:02.319 --> 00:18:05.759
apples and all the things that our body needs. We
275
00:18:05.799 --> 00:18:08.720
don't have to just manufacture all this corn and soy
276
00:18:09.119 --> 00:18:12.720
and then turn that into feed for animals and then
277
00:18:12.799 --> 00:18:15.720
eat the animals, and we could actually just live off
278
00:18:15.759 --> 00:18:19.319
of the earth the way it already worked. We have
279
00:18:19.400 --> 00:18:22.160
done so much manipulation to the earth. And that's part
280
00:18:22.200 --> 00:18:25.519
of the other parts of healing White Culture that I'm
281
00:18:26.200 --> 00:18:32.200
about is understanding that Europeans, because of this scarcity mentality,
282
00:18:33.119 --> 00:18:35.880
decided that we needed to make the earth work for
283
00:18:36.079 --> 00:18:41.160
us instead of in other cultures where they're much more
284
00:18:41.200 --> 00:18:43.680
connected to the earth. Because that's what happens when we
285
00:18:43.759 --> 00:18:45.839
don't get all the resources that we need. And I'm
286
00:18:45.880 --> 00:18:48.559
really sorry about my I don't know why it's acting
287
00:18:48.640 --> 00:18:50.039
up so much today.
288
00:18:49.759 --> 00:18:53.720
But I mean it's not bad. I mean, yeah, this
289
00:18:53.920 --> 00:18:54.240
is good.
290
00:18:54.799 --> 00:19:01.920
It's it's like breathing though, so. But in Europeans culture,
291
00:19:02.480 --> 00:19:05.400
we try to manipulate to make the earth work for us,
292
00:19:05.440 --> 00:19:08.839
which means we have a disconnected relationship with the earth
293
00:19:09.319 --> 00:19:17.200
right the the rest of the earth, I mean, the
294
00:19:17.240 --> 00:19:21.200
rest of other cultures. Indigenous and Aboriginal cultures historically have
295
00:19:21.279 --> 00:19:24.119
a much more connected value to the earth. We're just
296
00:19:24.200 --> 00:19:26.240
going to flow with it. We want to know how
297
00:19:26.279 --> 00:19:28.799
the earth works too. On the other hand, we have
298
00:19:28.920 --> 00:19:31.039
wanted to know how the earth works so that we
299
00:19:31.079 --> 00:19:35.160
can manipulate the life cells, whether it's creating atom bombs
300
00:19:35.279 --> 00:19:39.839
or creating GMO cells or all of these different things.
301
00:19:40.400 --> 00:19:44.039
And then we became attached to the idea that having
302
00:19:44.119 --> 00:19:48.200
money meant you can control these resources and how they're
303
00:19:48.200 --> 00:19:52.920
distributed and all of that. When there's enough for everybody
304
00:19:53.000 --> 00:19:58.079
to live a comfortable, enjoyable life, we don't have to
305
00:19:58.119 --> 00:20:01.599
be participating this and the results. I mean, the answer
306
00:20:01.680 --> 00:20:05.519
is simple. Untangling all of this that we've been through
307
00:20:05.559 --> 00:20:08.960
for these hundreds of years is very difficult because we're
308
00:20:08.960 --> 00:20:12.200
coming from places of pain, which leads to fear, and
309
00:20:12.240 --> 00:20:16.680
you can drive somebody with fear tactics all day long.
310
00:20:17.200 --> 00:20:21.039
And so that's where I think we need to really
311
00:20:21.079 --> 00:20:25.839
start to untangle understand how deceived we have been and
312
00:20:25.920 --> 00:20:28.880
we are based on the systems that are created, and
313
00:20:29.000 --> 00:20:32.960
this is part of the economic structure, is to try
314
00:20:32.960 --> 00:20:35.960
to control these resources. And the more that we don't
315
00:20:36.039 --> 00:20:39.599
understand and learn about our truth about ourselves and how
316
00:20:39.680 --> 00:20:42.680
life works, the more controllable we are.
317
00:20:45.160 --> 00:20:49.599
I do hear some truth in that, but his.
318
00:20:51.279 --> 00:21:04.720
His where I think are to ibeologies intersect a parallel
319
00:21:04.839 --> 00:21:11.759
to a degree or diverse in many cases, because correct
320
00:21:11.759 --> 00:21:14.720
me if I'm wrong. You see, everything started in as
321
00:21:14.759 --> 00:21:19.839
a race, where when I did my research, I believe
322
00:21:20.000 --> 00:21:26.319
everything man does is based on economics mm hmmm, based
323
00:21:26.359 --> 00:21:30.599
on the currency that the de free is change of value.
324
00:21:32.240 --> 00:21:37.160
And I believe based on my research. When you look
325
00:21:37.200 --> 00:21:42.440
at Europe, the Middle Ages coming out of the so
326
00:21:42.519 --> 00:21:44.880
called Dark Ages through.
327
00:21:44.680 --> 00:21:48.839
The Black Plague, it was a question of resources.
328
00:21:48.839 --> 00:21:53.400
Even the story of them, Johnny in to the so
329
00:21:53.480 --> 00:21:55.960
called New World, it was due to a lack of
330
00:21:56.039 --> 00:22:04.759
resources in Europe. So they had been traveling the world
331
00:22:05.480 --> 00:22:08.519
more before that, and they knew that people were on
332
00:22:08.599 --> 00:22:12.960
the other side of the waters, eliminated people, and they
333
00:22:13.000 --> 00:22:15.799
did free exchange or bothering or what they want to
334
00:22:15.880 --> 00:22:20.079
call it. So it's not like they didn't know, quote unquote,
335
00:22:20.160 --> 00:22:23.480
were we were there or there were other people on
336
00:22:23.559 --> 00:22:23.920
the other.
337
00:22:23.799 --> 00:22:27.160
Side of the oceans that look different. M so.
338
00:22:28.319 --> 00:22:32.039
But it came a point where again they saw where
339
00:22:32.240 --> 00:22:34.640
they were limited the resources and they had to go
340
00:22:35.119 --> 00:22:41.200
elsewhere to expand the economics come in. As you mentioned that,
341
00:22:42.519 --> 00:22:45.839
I don't see we mean and millenated people of a
342
00:22:45.960 --> 00:22:48.200
culture are very generous, giving.
343
00:22:50.680 --> 00:22:51.839
Wealthy culture.
344
00:22:52.279 --> 00:22:59.599
By all historical accounts, the indigenous people of Africa, America,
345
00:23:01.440 --> 00:23:13.680
Australia were far advanced, wanting water toilests, agriculture, and we're
346
00:23:13.759 --> 00:23:15.079
tripping over gold.
347
00:23:15.400 --> 00:23:15.720
M hm.
348
00:23:15.880 --> 00:23:21.799
So when they came and saw this bounty, they said,
349
00:23:22.200 --> 00:23:27.640
I want that, right, But again it was economics because
350
00:23:27.839 --> 00:23:29.920
the economic aspect comes in.
351
00:23:30.599 --> 00:23:35.640
I need to feed my people, right. So so with
352
00:23:35.880 --> 00:23:40.319
that they said, to people who who are there now
353
00:23:40.640 --> 00:23:43.559
they have to go, how can I make them?
354
00:23:45.440 --> 00:23:49.839
I guess, how can I make mind going after them
355
00:23:49.920 --> 00:23:51.920
to destroy them patiable?
356
00:23:52.240 --> 00:23:55.920
I have to make make it seem or make.
357
00:23:55.720 --> 00:24:02.279
It so there there is that distance is worse than
358
00:24:02.279 --> 00:24:07.160
the plague. So they are to conjure up a notion.
359
00:24:08.400 --> 00:24:13.000
Now these people are less human, but it's driven by economics,
360
00:24:13.119 --> 00:24:14.400
not necessarily a race.
361
00:24:15.720 --> 00:24:18.039
What's your point on my take so far?
362
00:24:18.799 --> 00:24:21.160
I'm in full agreement with you, and that's I think
363
00:24:21.200 --> 00:24:25.000
we're we have mutual meaning with different terminology, Okay, Right,
364
00:24:25.680 --> 00:24:28.599
So that's why I start off with scarcity and then
365
00:24:28.680 --> 00:24:32.079
I tell you we built our economic system based on
366
00:24:32.119 --> 00:24:36.960
a scarcity mentality instead of knowing even though we traveled
367
00:24:37.000 --> 00:24:39.559
the world, we knew we had to go out, but
368
00:24:39.720 --> 00:24:46.519
the culture that these settlers left from had a scarcity
369
00:24:46.759 --> 00:24:49.720
of mentality. We had the black plague because we're not
370
00:24:49.960 --> 00:24:53.400
getting all of our resources when we conquered the world,
371
00:24:53.440 --> 00:24:56.480
and we try and make ourselves look bad and big
372
00:24:56.519 --> 00:24:58.599
and bad and strong and all of that. And we
373
00:24:58.759 --> 00:25:00.599
got the better guns and the bet the weapons, and
374
00:25:00.640 --> 00:25:04.359
we're just stronger, and it's you know, the strongest survived. No,
375
00:25:04.519 --> 00:25:08.920
we brought disease that other places didn't have, and so
376
00:25:09.000 --> 00:25:13.200
we had sickness, a disconnected connection from the earth, and
377
00:25:13.519 --> 00:25:18.200
a and a scarcity mentality. And that's what we built
378
00:25:18.240 --> 00:25:23.559
our economic systems based on. And then we used race, right,
379
00:25:23.720 --> 00:25:28.200
this competition of our economic systems to develop race. So
380
00:25:28.440 --> 00:25:30.279
I'm in agreement with you one hundred percent.
381
00:25:30.680 --> 00:25:33.519
I guess it's your word race because I don't really
382
00:25:33.559 --> 00:25:38.480
see us in running competitions because running people are in
383
00:25:38.559 --> 00:25:43.559
competition with with with with non menning and people. We
384
00:25:43.640 --> 00:25:46.880
never cared about you, right level, So it was it's
385
00:25:46.880 --> 00:25:47.920
not a race to us.
386
00:25:49.119 --> 00:25:49.960
I agree that.
387
00:25:50.960 --> 00:25:52.839
I guess it's that off.
388
00:25:53.880 --> 00:25:58.359
There's an economic professor and scholar, I should say that
389
00:25:58.519 --> 00:26:05.160
was uh Claude Anderson, doctor Claude Anderson. Okay, well this
390
00:26:05.240 --> 00:26:08.160
is where I got my definition. It was a race
391
00:26:08.599 --> 00:26:12.519
of colonizers. It was France against.
392
00:26:13.400 --> 00:26:15.119
It wasn't it was our race.
393
00:26:15.240 --> 00:26:17.519
Okay, okay, we're the ones that created.
394
00:26:17.720 --> 00:26:21.079
Okay, I mean, I mean, I mean gentlemen, when when
395
00:26:21.119 --> 00:26:25.200
somebody said, raised all the petitions, Pence are right and
396
00:26:25.720 --> 00:26:26.559
in the competition.
397
00:26:27.200 --> 00:26:29.480
Yeah, we're not in a competition because we were right,
398
00:26:30.759 --> 00:26:34.079
you know, I mean, you mess with me, right?
399
00:26:34.279 --> 00:26:38.519
This is exactly that's the point that race, no race,
400
00:26:38.640 --> 00:26:39.880
I mean, yeah, exactly.
401
00:26:40.480 --> 00:26:41.839
It just didn't like not.
402
00:26:41.960 --> 00:26:45.279
Having what we had and we couldn't next to come
403
00:26:45.319 --> 00:26:48.160
to an accord where we could share. But again they
404
00:26:48.240 --> 00:26:52.640
saw the value anyway that they could. It's changed for
405
00:26:52.839 --> 00:26:57.119
other girls amongst themselves. So well, I guess the the
406
00:26:57.480 --> 00:27:02.359
Queen of Portugal told the man called christical numbers, he
407
00:27:03.000 --> 00:27:03.559
I want.
408
00:27:03.400 --> 00:27:03.799
More of that.
409
00:27:03.920 --> 00:27:07.960
I mean you brought all. I want more of that act.
410
00:27:08.200 --> 00:27:10.920
What can we do whereas people they don't give it up? Freedom?
411
00:27:11.839 --> 00:27:14.200
I guess we got more to people. Yeah, but it
412
00:27:14.319 --> 00:27:15.440
wasn't a race, it was.
413
00:27:15.720 --> 00:27:20.480
It was it was a conquering people based economics, the
414
00:27:20.680 --> 00:27:24.119
value and the currency that the saw that that new
415
00:27:24.200 --> 00:27:25.880
man could offer them, but.
416
00:27:26.119 --> 00:27:31.599
We use that scarcity technique. Whether it was Germany against
417
00:27:31.799 --> 00:27:35.240
the Jews, I mean Europe, you know, those Europeans against
418
00:27:35.240 --> 00:27:40.880
the Jews. It was to create a scarcity amongst themselves. Right,
419
00:27:40.960 --> 00:27:44.119
Whether when we come into other cultures where melanated folks
420
00:27:44.160 --> 00:27:49.519
are already there, we create an idea of their scarcity.
421
00:27:49.640 --> 00:27:52.880
We're controlling, we're trying to control these resources. So now
422
00:27:52.960 --> 00:27:56.400
we make it look like there's a scarcity amongst those, right,
423
00:27:56.480 --> 00:27:58.720
And that's what's happening in the inner cities here in
424
00:27:58.799 --> 00:28:02.680
the United States. We've left when black folks moved in
425
00:28:03.000 --> 00:28:07.279
and we created a scarcity. Look to this whole thing,
426
00:28:07.359 --> 00:28:11.920
and it's a in a competition amongst black culture that
427
00:28:12.119 --> 00:28:19.519
is unnatural to the indigenous and and Uh and Aboriginal
428
00:28:19.559 --> 00:28:23.839
ways of the culture that already existed here before we
429
00:28:23.960 --> 00:28:24.480
shield up.
430
00:28:24.839 --> 00:28:26.920
I can see. But let me ask this, So what
431
00:28:27.440 --> 00:28:29.039
came first the.
432
00:28:31.359 --> 00:28:39.680
The scarcity wanted to develop scarcity amongst the aboriginal people
433
00:28:39.839 --> 00:28:47.519
or the people of color, or the economic greed that
434
00:28:47.880 --> 00:28:54.160
propelled them to create this this environment of scarcity.
435
00:28:54.039 --> 00:28:58.279
Right, So I would say it's the scarcity of where
436
00:28:58.319 --> 00:29:01.799
we came from, developed the Econo agreed, which developed the
437
00:29:01.960 --> 00:29:07.160
idea that we can weaponize scarcity amongst others. Right, So,
438
00:29:07.960 --> 00:29:10.920
because we were in scarcity, So when somebody comes out
439
00:29:10.960 --> 00:29:13.200
of a poor environment.
440
00:29:12.960 --> 00:29:15.200
Okay, let's let's up there now.
441
00:29:15.359 --> 00:29:19.880
I understand it might have started that way in the beginning, okay,
442
00:29:20.640 --> 00:29:23.960
but when they conquered and when you come up into
443
00:29:24.079 --> 00:29:26.200
the sixties or the thirties.
444
00:29:27.400 --> 00:29:28.119
In this country.
445
00:29:28.279 --> 00:29:31.480
I can't he speak for Europe or Australia or Africa,
446
00:29:32.559 --> 00:29:37.839
but in this country, the scarcity was gone, right okay.
447
00:29:38.599 --> 00:29:42.000
And from mind, I wasn't shared amongst the people here.
448
00:29:41.920 --> 00:29:43.200
Though, okay.
449
00:29:44.319 --> 00:29:47.480
Which came first the chicken on the egg? So the
450
00:29:47.519 --> 00:29:52.960
scarcity was gone, So now we have a community. By
451
00:29:53.039 --> 00:29:59.880
all accounts, the first slave owner was a millenated person
452
00:30:00.680 --> 00:30:05.279
mm hm, who created who saw a need to have
453
00:30:05.559 --> 00:30:16.200
slaves instead of um servants or what's the word not
454
00:30:16.480 --> 00:30:18.400
slave but uh in the servants?
455
00:30:18.960 --> 00:30:19.079
Right?
456
00:30:19.359 --> 00:30:21.839
This is service came came before stags, even though there's
457
00:30:21.839 --> 00:30:26.000
always been perers of slavery, conquering people conquering other people
458
00:30:26.640 --> 00:30:28.000
having staves for a period.
459
00:30:27.759 --> 00:30:31.759
Of time that goes back to bibical times, correct, So.
460
00:30:33.160 --> 00:30:36.400
There is no necessary scheduty. There other than one nation
461
00:30:36.559 --> 00:30:39.319
conquering another nation. And I'm gonna take your goods, but
462
00:30:39.400 --> 00:30:40.960
I want you to work your land to help me
463
00:30:41.039 --> 00:30:43.359
take your goods from your man and put bring to
464
00:30:43.440 --> 00:30:50.400
my land having controlled it. So in today's time thirty forties,
465
00:30:50.480 --> 00:30:54.200
fifty sixty, seventies, eighties, nineties, even now, there's no longer
466
00:30:54.279 --> 00:30:58.559
scarcety in the in the European mind because they dominate,
467
00:30:58.680 --> 00:31:03.240
as you say, the world, even though a data minority, right, So.
468
00:31:04.839 --> 00:31:07.640
Well, I would get I would push back on that.
469
00:31:08.039 --> 00:31:10.119
I would still say that we hold on to that,
470
00:31:10.240 --> 00:31:14.519
even though we now control these resources, there's no scarcity
471
00:31:14.680 --> 00:31:18.519
amongst us, we still hold on to that. We can't
472
00:31:18.599 --> 00:31:21.640
let go of our resources. We're holding onto our ways,
473
00:31:21.720 --> 00:31:26.359
we're protecting our systems, we're justifying ourselves, we're denying everything
474
00:31:26.480 --> 00:31:29.799
that you're saying, is we're doing is wrong because there
475
00:31:29.920 --> 00:31:32.680
is a scarcity of resources on the planet and if
476
00:31:32.759 --> 00:31:35.480
we don't end up in control of it, you will.
477
00:31:36.000 --> 00:31:38.839
But is that not economically driven?
478
00:31:39.400 --> 00:31:39.559
Right?
479
00:31:40.079 --> 00:31:40.319
Okay?
480
00:31:40.400 --> 00:31:44.200
And the economic approach is from a scarcity mentality, where
481
00:31:44.319 --> 00:31:48.119
if the economic approach was that there was an abundance
482
00:31:48.359 --> 00:31:52.119
of these resources, our approach is that there's more than
483
00:31:52.319 --> 00:31:55.079
enough for all of us. So let's see how we
484
00:31:55.160 --> 00:31:57.799
can make sure that we're all taken care of. And
485
00:31:57.960 --> 00:32:01.880
now let's build the systems around sharing and supporting one another,
486
00:32:01.960 --> 00:32:04.480
and let's go be the best version of ourselves we
487
00:32:04.559 --> 00:32:09.839
can be. But in a in a greedy, protective, scarcity mentality,
488
00:32:10.319 --> 00:32:13.000
I now have to try and keep this from myself.
489
00:32:13.079 --> 00:32:17.240
We are constantly thinking anybody else out there is trying it.
490
00:32:17.279 --> 00:32:19.559
Why did that person do something nice to me? Hmm
491
00:32:20.480 --> 00:32:24.799
they they must be off wanting something for me, right,
492
00:32:24.960 --> 00:32:29.680
Like we're we're so protective of what we have as
493
00:32:29.759 --> 00:32:34.920
individualistic because zero sum game leads to all of those things,
494
00:32:35.279 --> 00:32:38.359
versus seeing a society we have more than enough, why
495
00:32:38.440 --> 00:32:39.319
can't we just share?
496
00:32:39.799 --> 00:32:48.759
So from that point of view, scarcity drove the Caucasian
497
00:32:49.799 --> 00:32:55.000
to decimate the Black family mm hm. In nineteen sixties
498
00:32:55.680 --> 00:32:58.079
did not economics.
499
00:32:57.839 --> 00:33:01.519
Right or just or just power. It was a scarcity
500
00:33:01.640 --> 00:33:05.400
economic system, so let's let's call it economics. I'm saying
501
00:33:05.440 --> 00:33:09.839
there's two types of economic systems approaches. One is from
502
00:33:09.880 --> 00:33:14.480
a building an economic structure from a or systems from
503
00:33:14.519 --> 00:33:18.400
a scarcity approach, and one from building it from an
504
00:33:18.640 --> 00:33:23.160
abundance approach, and we use a scarcity approach to our
505
00:33:23.279 --> 00:33:24.279
economic system.
506
00:33:24.920 --> 00:33:28.440
Okay, that's that's that's interesting. I mean I don't, I don't.
507
00:33:28.839 --> 00:33:35.319
I don't see that because when you look at the whole.
508
00:33:37.000 --> 00:33:44.200
Quote unquote slavery American slavery experience, there was nothing but
509
00:33:44.599 --> 00:33:50.440
boot power based on economics because they had to have
510
00:33:50.599 --> 00:33:52.920
somebody to till the fields.
511
00:33:53.519 --> 00:33:56.039
That can do with scarcity. In my mind, they had
512
00:33:56.079 --> 00:33:58.000
to do with strictly, this.
513
00:33:58.240 --> 00:34:03.680
Is my cash crop, your opinions, lack of better words,
514
00:34:03.759 --> 00:34:08.199
too weak to do this hard manual labor because it
515
00:34:08.400 --> 00:34:11.280
costs more to have them.
516
00:34:13.679 --> 00:34:15.199
Anyway.
517
00:34:16.320 --> 00:34:20.239
So we got the the millenaiy people who are strong
518
00:34:22.360 --> 00:34:23.440
that they endure.
519
00:34:24.280 --> 00:34:26.760
So that's the ones that we are going to use
520
00:34:27.639 --> 00:34:33.599
to grow the fields for my economic benefit. Not anything
521
00:34:33.639 --> 00:34:37.559
to do with my schedulte that my grandfolks way back
522
00:34:37.639 --> 00:34:42.199
when had. Because I'm here, I'm good, I see, because
523
00:34:42.480 --> 00:34:46.159
we couldn't grow tobacco necessary in Europe. So now we
524
00:34:46.239 --> 00:34:48.880
could grow all these these cats crops, but I need
525
00:34:48.960 --> 00:34:52.400
somebody to grow them. So economically, I need to have
526
00:34:52.639 --> 00:34:55.400
these individuals man in my machine.
527
00:34:58.280 --> 00:35:03.039
So I'm going to challenge you on this. Right when
528
00:35:03.079 --> 00:35:07.599
you build a house. You need an architect, You need
529
00:35:08.440 --> 00:35:12.599
a foundation layer, right, you need your civil engineers, you
530
00:35:12.760 --> 00:35:20.199
need the infrastructure of the house. You need then the
531
00:35:20.320 --> 00:35:22.599
walls and all of the plumbing and all of those
532
00:35:22.719 --> 00:35:28.039
things to work. You don't build with the same materials, right,
533
00:35:28.159 --> 00:35:32.239
So once you've laid the foundation, now your infrastructure is
534
00:35:32.280 --> 00:35:35.119
made out of steel. The foundation was made out of concrete,
535
00:35:35.679 --> 00:35:38.599
and your walls are going to be made out of
536
00:35:38.639 --> 00:35:42.000
wood and then drywall, and then you're going to design it.
537
00:35:42.440 --> 00:35:47.519
So at different stages of this scarcity economic systems, we
538
00:35:47.639 --> 00:35:50.360
don't have to perform the same That's why I laugh
539
00:35:50.480 --> 00:35:54.079
when we say, oh, it's better now than it was
540
00:35:54.360 --> 00:35:57.840
for black folks back then. If we haven't healed it,
541
00:35:58.440 --> 00:36:01.920
then yes, it might not be. It's like inflation. It
542
00:36:02.079 --> 00:36:05.840
might not be growing at the same rate of harm.
543
00:36:06.880 --> 00:36:10.000
It's still growing harm that we have not healed and
544
00:36:10.119 --> 00:36:15.599
gone back and said, from this competitive economic structure that
545
00:36:15.719 --> 00:36:19.719
we have. When we do harm in this society, somebody
546
00:36:19.800 --> 00:36:24.199
gets made whole. We made the Jews whole for those
547
00:36:24.320 --> 00:36:28.000
that suffered through the Holocaust. We even went into another
548
00:36:28.119 --> 00:36:30.599
area of the world and gave them land, or gave
549
00:36:30.719 --> 00:36:34.039
us land. If I need to be connected to that.
550
00:36:35.280 --> 00:36:37.679
We've done all of these things to heal because we
551
00:36:37.840 --> 00:36:43.280
know we're in competition, and we used folks, manipulated, harmed,
552
00:36:43.559 --> 00:36:46.239
did all kinds of things to use these bodies in
553
00:36:46.360 --> 00:36:50.000
an unhumane way when we could have just shared all
554
00:36:50.039 --> 00:36:53.079
these resources to try and control these things, but we
555
00:36:53.320 --> 00:36:58.039
kept this scarcity mentality. So we're still building the building
556
00:36:58.119 --> 00:37:02.480
of scarcity economics. We're just doing it differently now at
557
00:37:02.679 --> 00:37:06.480
each stage. Once we've gotten more, if I've already got
558
00:37:06.559 --> 00:37:10.039
the resources, my job is no longer to get them
559
00:37:10.079 --> 00:37:13.960
from you. It's to maintain them for myself. So now
560
00:37:14.000 --> 00:37:19.239
I'm operating differently with that approach. Right, I'm still using
561
00:37:19.280 --> 00:37:22.679
the scarcity mentality. There is only a limited amount of
562
00:37:22.760 --> 00:37:27.559
resources on the planet. That is why X supply must
563
00:37:27.639 --> 00:37:30.800
meet demand in how we price our things, because we
564
00:37:30.960 --> 00:37:34.960
have a scarcity mentality. There is a limited amount of resources,
565
00:37:35.199 --> 00:37:39.000
yet we are using our land for the worst possible ways,
566
00:37:39.119 --> 00:37:41.320
and we all have enough to eat. If we wanted
567
00:37:41.360 --> 00:37:43.800
to share those that well, then that.
568
00:37:44.880 --> 00:37:51.719
Will put all millenated, all nonmllenated people, people who, for
569
00:37:51.880 --> 00:37:57.320
lack of a better description, are the eco fanatics, and
570
00:37:57.440 --> 00:38:01.320
true the eco fanatics that I've seen all been non.
571
00:38:01.239 --> 00:38:03.599
Menenated people, that they're very millennated people.
572
00:38:04.239 --> 00:38:08.199
One of my hugging trees and trying to get you know,
573
00:38:08.440 --> 00:38:11.639
you let to let the vehicles or want to live
574
00:38:11.800 --> 00:38:14.039
off of windmals and sodo panels.
575
00:38:15.039 --> 00:38:16.199
We ain't doing that, you know.
576
00:38:17.320 --> 00:38:21.960
So, But indeed I would I would disagree with you
577
00:38:22.639 --> 00:38:26.000
because I've experienced a culture that is doing that, led
578
00:38:26.079 --> 00:38:29.800
by African Americans that left here and went back to Israel,
579
00:38:30.480 --> 00:38:31.440
and they're not.
580
00:38:32.000 --> 00:38:34.079
Well, okay, well that that's what I'm talking about. I'm
581
00:38:34.199 --> 00:38:36.119
I'm going to speak for here in this country.
582
00:38:36.400 --> 00:38:36.519
Right.
583
00:38:37.119 --> 00:38:42.199
Maybe, of course, the thought could be gathered by any
584
00:38:42.280 --> 00:38:46.920
individual if they're so inclined to believe whatever I believe.
585
00:38:47.760 --> 00:38:52.280
So that's where you're making the assumption to also excuse
586
00:38:52.360 --> 00:38:58.320
me for laughing that these tree hugging, electric car driving
587
00:38:58.599 --> 00:39:01.840
folks are all so right in the way that they're
588
00:39:01.920 --> 00:39:04.159
trying to heal the Oh no, no, no, no, no
589
00:39:04.320 --> 00:39:11.199
no no. I think the coas cocopuffs. Okay, So here's
590
00:39:11.559 --> 00:39:14.159
here's my struggle, and here's why I wrote my book.
591
00:39:15.559 --> 00:39:18.199
Black Folks got tired of saying, Okay, I'm trying to
592
00:39:18.320 --> 00:39:20.920
teach you about race and you don't get it right
593
00:39:21.000 --> 00:39:24.599
and racism, so go fix yourself. So then they became
594
00:39:24.719 --> 00:39:30.000
this movement of white anti racism groups, and I joined them.
595
00:39:30.199 --> 00:39:33.320
I was actually given an order by my son's mother,
596
00:39:33.400 --> 00:39:36.440
who's a black woman, and he you know, I met
597
00:39:36.519 --> 00:39:38.920
him at when he was six years old. I met
598
00:39:38.960 --> 00:39:44.960
the family and I became No, this is uh my
599
00:39:45.159 --> 00:39:48.880
son I met in he was born in four I
600
00:39:49.000 --> 00:39:51.880
met him in two thousand and nine, twenty ten or
601
00:39:51.920 --> 00:39:52.639
twenty ten.
602
00:39:52.840 --> 00:39:56.320
At that point, you joined anti race group.
603
00:39:56.800 --> 00:39:59.039
No, I had already been a part of Yeah so
604
00:39:59.199 --> 00:40:02.480
around so wait so yes exactly. So she said, it's
605
00:40:02.559 --> 00:40:04.880
great that you love us the way you do. It's
606
00:40:04.920 --> 00:40:07.000
great that you know what you know. But if you
607
00:40:07.119 --> 00:40:09.800
really want to fix us, I mean, help us, go
608
00:40:09.960 --> 00:40:10.719
fix your people.
609
00:40:11.199 --> 00:40:11.360
Right.
610
00:40:12.000 --> 00:40:14.760
So I heard about this group called White People for
611
00:40:15.440 --> 00:40:20.079
Black Lives. It was out in Los Angeles, and generally
612
00:40:20.599 --> 00:40:26.199
I love them for what they're trying to accomplish. Most
613
00:40:26.280 --> 00:40:28.559
of them though, and this is why I had to
614
00:40:28.599 --> 00:40:32.679
write the book, was it's the blind leading the blind.
615
00:40:33.360 --> 00:40:36.639
You don't know how much we've been deceived in our
616
00:40:36.760 --> 00:40:40.519
own understanding of our own history and our own how
617
00:40:40.599 --> 00:40:43.800
we developed. Because when we learn history, we don't learn
618
00:40:44.440 --> 00:40:47.280
the why, we learn the what. So when we say
619
00:40:47.320 --> 00:40:49.760
we need to learn history so we don't repeat ourselves,
620
00:40:49.800 --> 00:40:52.719
then we need to learn why we made those decisions
621
00:40:52.960 --> 00:40:56.599
so we can make a different approach to that. But
622
00:40:56.719 --> 00:40:59.840
if we just learn history as we won this war,
623
00:41:00.039 --> 00:41:02.039
we won that war, we did this, we don't learn
624
00:41:02.119 --> 00:41:05.119
the truth about ourselves. And so now you have the
625
00:41:05.199 --> 00:41:11.239
blind leading the blind. And yes, like Tom Steyer, I
626
00:41:11.320 --> 00:41:13.559
don't know if you know who that is, but he's
627
00:41:14.000 --> 00:41:16.880
he's a billionaire hedge fund manager and he ran for
628
00:41:17.039 --> 00:41:20.800
president when against Biden in the first time, and when
629
00:41:20.880 --> 00:41:25.679
Biden won, when all those Democrats in Washington. No, he's
630
00:41:25.760 --> 00:41:28.920
from he's from Oakland or you know, not Oakland, but
631
00:41:29.119 --> 00:41:32.840
northern California. And he's a billionaire and he was all
632
00:41:32.840 --> 00:41:35.320
about climate change and he also talked about need to
633
00:41:35.440 --> 00:41:42.639
liberate huh liberal. Yeah, right, So Biden in the group
634
00:41:43.599 --> 00:41:48.480
passed a major bill about you know, dedicated towards helping
635
00:41:48.559 --> 00:41:52.559
with climate change. And the first thing he says is,
636
00:41:53.559 --> 00:41:57.920
as this liberal, we now we can compete for you know,
637
00:41:58.079 --> 00:42:00.760
making the world great again. Now we can not great
638
00:42:00.800 --> 00:42:03.119
again in that sense, but now we can compete towards
639
00:42:03.639 --> 00:42:07.480
healing the climate. Now we can be the leaders in this.
640
00:42:08.239 --> 00:42:14.400
Those are two white cultural economics approaches. So you're gonna
641
00:42:14.480 --> 00:42:19.519
use the same mind to go and make this change
642
00:42:19.679 --> 00:42:22.280
that you want. That's when I'm I'm agreeing with you.
643
00:42:23.159 --> 00:42:25.880
Like I'm a tree hugger. I'm a tree hugger from
644
00:42:25.920 --> 00:42:29.960
the sense of if you walk out into the grass
645
00:42:30.079 --> 00:42:33.840
with your bare feet like most like many black grandmothers
646
00:42:33.960 --> 00:42:37.119
used to tell that kids back in the day, and
647
00:42:37.280 --> 00:42:40.760
you touch the trees, there is an exchange of positive
648
00:42:41.000 --> 00:42:45.719
energy that exists because we live off of each other. Right,
649
00:42:45.840 --> 00:42:49.480
we breathe air that they out that they that trees
650
00:42:49.639 --> 00:42:53.000
breathe in. There is a life cycle that goes with that.
651
00:42:53.199 --> 00:42:56.000
So from a tree hugging standpoint, there's a truth to that.
652
00:42:56.280 --> 00:43:00.840
So with the tonics and moving from this gas, we
653
00:43:00.920 --> 00:43:02.960
shouldn't be leading that we don't know what the heck
654
00:43:03.039 --> 00:43:05.679
we're talking about. There's much better sources of energy.
655
00:43:05.719 --> 00:43:13.840
So so going on the green agenda and looking at
656
00:43:13.880 --> 00:43:18.360
how Europe is rusn't headlong into this MH.
657
00:43:19.760 --> 00:43:25.320
But the less so called lesser developed countries, if you
658
00:43:25.360 --> 00:43:28.920
wan't call it China lesser developed country in some cases
659
00:43:28.960 --> 00:43:38.119
they are in India, Russia, people in the sunthern hemisphere.
660
00:43:39.119 --> 00:43:43.679
H they say, y'all, y'all, go ahead, we ain't doing
661
00:43:43.719 --> 00:43:44.119
any of that.
662
00:43:44.960 --> 00:43:46.239
We're gonna keep drilling for all.
663
00:43:47.800 --> 00:43:50.519
We're gonna keep building nuclear plants because we're trying to
664
00:43:50.559 --> 00:43:52.840
catch it with y'all because we want the lifestyle and
665
00:43:53.360 --> 00:43:55.320
possibility that y'all got through.
666
00:43:57.880 --> 00:44:03.760
That's what how or so called dirty energy. So even
667
00:44:03.920 --> 00:44:10.599
with that, is that not economically driven?
668
00:44:10.840 --> 00:44:14.159
Because if there wasn't any if there wasn't any money
669
00:44:14.400 --> 00:44:19.079
in that industry, if there wasn't any if if alcohol
670
00:44:19.239 --> 00:44:23.719
or couldn't become a motile billing there pushing green energy,
671
00:44:24.159 --> 00:44:26.559
would he be pushing green energy?
672
00:44:27.320 --> 00:44:27.480
Right?
673
00:44:27.880 --> 00:44:32.960
So of course there's an economic and that's if we
674
00:44:33.079 --> 00:44:36.079
don't change our economic approach, then we're going to keep
675
00:44:36.119 --> 00:44:38.360
doing the same things over and over again and expect
676
00:44:38.440 --> 00:44:39.159
different results.
677
00:44:39.239 --> 00:44:42.840
So again my question is what came first the economic
678
00:44:43.480 --> 00:44:47.719
drive on what you call the race.
679
00:44:48.159 --> 00:44:51.679
To the economic drive led to the race.
680
00:44:52.360 --> 00:44:55.719
That's that's my main point in every short I think.
681
00:44:55.679 --> 00:44:59.559
Everything that I'm not using the same terminology as you,
682
00:44:59.679 --> 00:45:02.320
but I do. That's why the first thing I said
683
00:45:02.360 --> 00:45:06.199
before I get into the race is scarcity led us
684
00:45:06.320 --> 00:45:10.079
to this economics of competition? And in ECON, first thing
685
00:45:10.239 --> 00:45:13.199
we learn is there is a scarcity of resources. This
686
00:45:13.360 --> 00:45:16.760
is the first line of and I took too many
687
00:45:16.840 --> 00:45:23.159
ECON classes, right, But the first line, first day is
688
00:45:23.280 --> 00:45:26.840
there is a scarcity of resources on the planet, and
689
00:45:27.039 --> 00:45:32.440
therefore we must we are in competition to control those resources. Okay,
690
00:45:34.519 --> 00:45:35.800
the earth already works.
691
00:45:36.480 --> 00:45:41.360
Let's look at this way. I'm curious. I'm fascinated by
692
00:45:41.400 --> 00:45:48.480
your take on this. So when the Burgh's family woke
693
00:45:48.599 --> 00:45:53.119
up and they recognize.
694
00:45:54.960 --> 00:45:59.960
Co press, horror turns into diamonds. Mm hmm.
695
00:46:00.119 --> 00:46:04.440
But there's no market for diamonds and diamants now are plentiful.
696
00:46:06.920 --> 00:46:13.199
Did they seek to offer this plentiful commodity to the
697
00:46:13.320 --> 00:46:17.159
people as is or did they try to restrict that
698
00:46:17.360 --> 00:46:22.159
commodity to increase the value, to increase the scarcity. But
699
00:46:22.360 --> 00:46:27.079
first it was driven by economics, not scarcity, right.
700
00:46:27.199 --> 00:46:32.039
But so things are sarc cyclical though, because we had
701
00:46:32.159 --> 00:46:36.719
this approach of scared. We had we come from an
702
00:46:36.800 --> 00:46:41.119
area where we diamonds weren't readily available to us. We
703
00:46:41.280 --> 00:46:46.239
had to go into these other places. So it's it's
704
00:46:46.320 --> 00:46:50.000
the same thing as when you have people that have
705
00:46:50.119 --> 00:46:54.360
been denied all of these resources. And then you see
706
00:46:54.599 --> 00:46:57.239
fancy cars and you see this going and now I
707
00:46:57.360 --> 00:47:00.719
want that, right, so now I want those? Have you
708
00:47:00.800 --> 00:47:05.840
ever and I used this uh prestige right, we create
709
00:47:05.920 --> 00:47:08.719
this idea of prestige, right.
710
00:47:08.480 --> 00:47:13.440
Because because diamonds as as as as when it was,
711
00:47:13.639 --> 00:47:14.639
it wasn't anything.
712
00:47:15.719 --> 00:47:19.119
But but but they had to make it worth prestige
713
00:47:20.400 --> 00:47:21.320
see value.
714
00:47:21.480 --> 00:47:25.480
But but but but now they created this market that
715
00:47:26.199 --> 00:47:32.079
they had to reduce the amount that's available to the public.
716
00:47:32.880 --> 00:47:36.519
Developed scarcity, but first they had to see economic value
717
00:47:36.840 --> 00:47:42.639
in it first before creating scarcity. Now it's more valuable
718
00:47:42.719 --> 00:47:46.599
because it's more scarce. So when you look at opportunities
719
00:47:47.960 --> 00:47:52.199
to me, the the green energy movement creates more scarcity
720
00:47:53.000 --> 00:47:55.920
that therefore more valuable. It don't it don't make the
721
00:47:56.559 --> 00:48:00.639
earth any better because when you look at how how
722
00:48:01.920 --> 00:48:06.960
batteries for you that the vehicles are created, you got
723
00:48:07.079 --> 00:48:08.039
to destroy a lot of.
724
00:48:08.079 --> 00:48:13.519
The earth exactly exactly, So we have the wrong folks
725
00:48:13.639 --> 00:48:20.159
leading the way. So that's first and foremost our approach
726
00:48:20.519 --> 00:48:23.039
and our need for oil and all of these other
727
00:48:23.159 --> 00:48:26.199
things is also from the wrong folks leading the way.
728
00:48:26.760 --> 00:48:30.519
So here's here's my take on a lot of our
729
00:48:30.800 --> 00:48:36.559
political structure now and struggles now we fought. It's we
730
00:48:37.679 --> 00:48:40.840
only know the what, we don't understand the why, and
731
00:48:40.920 --> 00:48:43.679
we don't want to as less melanated folks, it's very
732
00:48:44.239 --> 00:48:47.960
difficult to want to know why we behave and culturally
733
00:48:48.519 --> 00:48:54.039
as a whole this way because otherwise we just spend
734
00:48:54.119 --> 00:48:58.039
our time justifying it, denying it, and using our position
735
00:48:58.760 --> 00:49:02.159
in which we're in right now now to position ourselves.
736
00:49:02.239 --> 00:49:04.519
And that's how we spend our day, that's how we
737
00:49:04.719 --> 00:49:08.480
lead our thoughts. We're not into a world of sharing.
738
00:49:08.639 --> 00:49:12.679
So the idea that I would say, the same techniques
739
00:49:12.719 --> 00:49:16.039
here you were talking about with diamonds, we're using for
740
00:49:16.920 --> 00:49:20.760
nuclear power and to and for ga I mean, you know,
741
00:49:20.880 --> 00:49:23.719
oil and all of those things. We created a world
742
00:49:23.760 --> 00:49:26.960
where that was needed, the greatest.
743
00:49:28.239 --> 00:49:31.079
Uh source of But with that, if there was not
744
00:49:31.360 --> 00:49:33.440
an economic return, we.
745
00:49:34.320 --> 00:49:38.800
We we decided what was The Europeans wouldn't be added
746
00:49:39.280 --> 00:49:41.719
again to me everything to them by economics.
747
00:49:41.800 --> 00:49:46.480
But listen, we decided what was economically valuable by making
748
00:49:46.639 --> 00:49:50.840
diamonds valuable, by making oil valuable, because we could make
749
00:49:50.920 --> 00:49:54.039
all of these machines run by oil run by steam,
750
00:49:54.519 --> 00:49:57.159
run by water, run by all of these other things.
751
00:49:57.239 --> 00:50:00.440
We could use the systems that were already in place
752
00:50:00.920 --> 00:50:05.480
in higher advanced technologies that were in place when we
753
00:50:05.719 --> 00:50:08.800
came to these lands, or was there any money in it?
754
00:50:10.000 --> 00:50:13.440
Because we didn't write, So we had to create an
755
00:50:13.480 --> 00:50:17.800
economic structure that said this money is more valuable and
756
00:50:18.639 --> 00:50:21.920
this is how we want it used. And partially I
757
00:50:22.119 --> 00:50:25.239
cannot let you know how great you are, Tony if
758
00:50:25.320 --> 00:50:28.400
I want to use you to control so that I
759
00:50:28.559 --> 00:50:31.760
stay and maintain higher rank in this competition.
760
00:50:31.920 --> 00:50:33.440
That's based on an economic drive.
761
00:50:34.039 --> 00:50:36.840
To me more sure, all of what we're talking about.
762
00:50:36.639 --> 00:50:38.920
Is not anything to do with scarcity. Had to do
763
00:50:39.039 --> 00:50:41.360
agreed and economics and.
764
00:50:41.480 --> 00:50:45.119
It, but it comes from a scarcity approach, is all
765
00:50:45.159 --> 00:50:48.320
I'm saying. I'm just I'm just taking one step back
766
00:50:48.360 --> 00:50:50.119
from what you're saying, and I'm agreeing with you one
767
00:50:50.199 --> 00:50:50.760
hundred percent.
768
00:50:51.320 --> 00:50:54.400
That's actually I'm fascinated by because I never heard that before,
769
00:50:55.000 --> 00:50:56.000
so it was interesting.
770
00:50:56.320 --> 00:51:08.800
So one more questions, Yes, sir, you ready for my
771
00:51:09.039 --> 00:51:09.719
spiel on it?
772
00:51:10.039 --> 00:51:13.840
I don't know, but I'm curious to heal hear it.
773
00:51:14.440 --> 00:51:16.079
I'm'm ready for I'm curious to hear it.
774
00:51:16.880 --> 00:51:22.360
Okay, So this is the beginning of where we start
775
00:51:22.440 --> 00:51:25.599
to learn about our own ability for humanity.
776
00:51:26.559 --> 00:51:31.840
Again, this makes clear you're Jewish, uh huh and Jews
777
00:51:32.159 --> 00:51:36.280
Jews as a nation, we see reparations.
778
00:51:36.360 --> 00:51:40.079
Yeah, those who you know, and that we we love
779
00:51:40.199 --> 00:51:43.880
to redefine, to really clearly define how we heal things.
780
00:51:44.440 --> 00:51:49.679
Those whose family were harmed in the Holocaust.
781
00:51:49.800 --> 00:51:54.039
Not everybody, but you can say my family was dated.
782
00:51:55.440 --> 00:51:58.840
Right. Part of the reparations that we don't really like
783
00:51:58.960 --> 00:52:05.719
to discuss is that Jews and so the Jewish, European
784
00:52:05.920 --> 00:52:09.599
or Christian or whatever wars is white on white crime. Like,
785
00:52:09.719 --> 00:52:11.519
let's put it what it would, let's make it what
786
00:52:11.639 --> 00:52:11.880
it is.
787
00:52:13.159 --> 00:52:16.599
So what about the Jews that come from Ethiopia count
788
00:52:17.199 --> 00:52:19.159
or did they count in any of this?
789
00:52:19.559 --> 00:52:24.119
Yeah? So, but where did we take these European Jews
790
00:52:24.239 --> 00:52:26.559
and say, you know, you need to go down here
791
00:52:27.199 --> 00:52:32.400
and be a part of this area where your less
792
00:52:32.480 --> 00:52:37.880
melanated skin really doesn't survive very well in Northeast Africa,
793
00:52:38.000 --> 00:52:39.840
but we call it the Middle East, so we can't
794
00:52:40.000 --> 00:52:46.800
identify it as African. Okay, let's go down there and
795
00:52:46.920 --> 00:52:52.320
work together to maintain our position in this economic area
796
00:52:52.519 --> 00:52:55.800
in this area so we can have some economic control
797
00:52:56.039 --> 00:53:01.119
over this region as well. The idea that so Jews
798
00:53:01.920 --> 00:53:07.320
are European because there is no sound jah in Hebrew.
799
00:53:09.639 --> 00:53:13.639
So I like you just JD, I like you now,
800
00:53:13.639 --> 00:53:15.039
I'm liking you. Now, I'm liking you.
801
00:53:15.679 --> 00:53:19.199
There is no sound of just. So that's obvious. We've
802
00:53:19.360 --> 00:53:27.599
created the ja, the Greco Roman culture, right. That part
803
00:53:28.119 --> 00:53:31.199
just is mind boggling to me that we can't even
804
00:53:31.320 --> 00:53:32.119
start from there.
805
00:53:32.719 --> 00:53:35.639
That's a whole hour. Yeah, okay for sure.
806
00:53:36.039 --> 00:53:41.800
Okay, So the Hebrew speaking folks that were in that
807
00:53:41.960 --> 00:53:46.039
Northeast African region from Ethiopian up to what we call
808
00:53:46.199 --> 00:53:49.239
Israel now, because Israel was a concept until we made
809
00:53:49.280 --> 00:53:52.760
it a state. It was it was the following of
810
00:53:52.840 --> 00:53:57.199
a of a biblical you know person that we gave
811
00:53:57.360 --> 00:54:02.840
the name of Israel because Israel Israel has he has
812
00:54:02.920 --> 00:54:08.400
a meaning to it is states, right, and so all
813
00:54:08.480 --> 00:54:11.559
of these things that have come this is a European
814
00:54:11.760 --> 00:54:16.840
These are European constructs and and other social systems that
815
00:54:17.000 --> 00:54:18.599
go into economics.
816
00:54:18.639 --> 00:54:22.440
Says are you referring to genuinely come out in regards
817
00:54:22.519 --> 00:54:25.480
to the so called black race.
818
00:54:26.119 --> 00:54:33.000
So, first and foremost, the the the harm the target
819
00:54:33.320 --> 00:54:35.840
I call it like the target of harm. The bullseye
820
00:54:35.960 --> 00:54:39.880
has been anti blackness. Right, so I'm saying we have
821
00:54:40.039 --> 00:54:42.519
never addressed that, and that is what we need to heal.
822
00:54:43.239 --> 00:54:47.760
And and even though we can say, oh, it's different
823
00:54:47.800 --> 00:54:49.760
now than it was back then, and it's too late,
824
00:54:49.840 --> 00:54:52.800
and we try and get repairing the harm. So right,
825
00:54:52.960 --> 00:54:55.719
even though we did the harm so wrong, it didn't
826
00:54:55.800 --> 00:54:59.599
matter white folks mostly but even in.
827
00:55:02.280 --> 00:55:04.519
Mostly so said it wasn't one hundred percent white people
828
00:55:04.719 --> 00:55:05.519
who own slaves?
829
00:55:05.599 --> 00:55:06.719
Is that what you're saying?
830
00:55:08.159 --> 00:55:14.119
No? Yeah, well, and who owned them? Yes, I'm not
831
00:55:15.000 --> 00:55:20.079
the dividing it absolutely because yes, we've if people participate
832
00:55:20.159 --> 00:55:23.719
in the culture and assimilate to the culture. It was
833
00:55:23.840 --> 00:55:28.800
a cultural thing still, but yes it was but anti blackness.
834
00:55:28.840 --> 00:55:31.079
And of course, if you're willing to harm your own
835
00:55:31.559 --> 00:55:34.480
people that look like you, melanated skin level as you,
836
00:55:34.599 --> 00:55:37.840
then you're welcome to come on in, you know, come
837
00:55:37.880 --> 00:55:39.360
on in, you can sit at the table.
838
00:55:39.880 --> 00:55:42.440
But but then, but did they do that because of
839
00:55:42.480 --> 00:55:44.159
sketchy or did they do that because it was it
840
00:55:44.239 --> 00:55:47.119
was an economic driven economy.
841
00:55:47.119 --> 00:55:52.039
An economic driven economy based on a scarcity approach. I'm
842
00:55:52.079 --> 00:55:53.760
not gonna I'm not gonna.
843
00:55:54.320 --> 00:55:59.360
Okay, okay, I appreciate that about your appreciate that, okay.
844
00:56:02.639 --> 00:56:06.960
And so let's say you're you know, you witness me.
845
00:56:08.039 --> 00:56:11.559
I'm walking across the street. I'm in my in my
846
00:56:11.880 --> 00:56:15.320
you know, crosswalk, and I got the walk signal. I'm
847
00:56:15.400 --> 00:56:19.280
doing right. But here comes Joe Blow and he's got
848
00:56:19.320 --> 00:56:23.159
his big old pickup truck and he runs me over purposely,
849
00:56:23.599 --> 00:56:27.559
just I can't stand this, JD. And he runs me over. Now,
850
00:56:27.800 --> 00:56:32.400
I got some dislocated ligaments in my knee, my back
851
00:56:32.840 --> 00:56:36.159
is you know, lumbar is broken, and my head trauma
852
00:56:36.280 --> 00:56:41.280
and all of these different things. I would love for
853
00:56:41.400 --> 00:56:45.280
you to call the system nine to one one and
854
00:56:45.440 --> 00:56:50.599
say JD needs some help. But you didn't do it,
855
00:56:51.280 --> 00:56:54.280
so you could take that approach, Hey, I didn't do that.
856
00:56:55.039 --> 00:56:58.000
I don't need to heal that person. I didn't, right,
857
00:56:58.599 --> 00:57:02.000
but I'm in this street, and other people that witnessed
858
00:57:02.000 --> 00:57:04.599
it could take the same approach, Hey, I didn't do it.
859
00:57:05.000 --> 00:57:07.000
But then there might be you might be one of
860
00:57:07.039 --> 00:57:08.719
the few that says, you know what, I should call
861
00:57:08.760 --> 00:57:10.519
the police. I mean I should call nine one one.
862
00:57:10.719 --> 00:57:13.480
So I called nine one one, and the system, the
863
00:57:14.480 --> 00:57:22.199
ambulance says I didn't do it, not me, or they
864
00:57:22.280 --> 00:57:25.559
could come and help me heal and then take me
865
00:57:25.639 --> 00:57:28.159
to the doctors. And the doctors again could say I
866
00:57:28.280 --> 00:57:31.119
didn't do it, or they could say, Lord knows, this
867
00:57:31.360 --> 00:57:35.000
man needs to have surgery. So now we have to
868
00:57:35.079 --> 00:57:37.880
even harm him more. We have to so not that
869
00:57:38.000 --> 00:57:40.000
we have to harm more, but we have to cause
870
00:57:40.079 --> 00:57:43.000
more pain because to get to the problem, it's going
871
00:57:43.079 --> 00:57:46.280
to take some emotional unraveling of our how did we
872
00:57:46.440 --> 00:57:48.840
get here in the first place, and what does healing
873
00:57:48.960 --> 00:57:51.400
look like? And how do we change our approach?
874
00:57:51.800 --> 00:57:55.920
So in inspirations and that analoge. So are we looking
875
00:57:55.960 --> 00:58:04.000
at JB JD get injured and now we're trying to
876
00:58:05.920 --> 00:58:11.519
give him conversation or reparations for its injury. Or has
877
00:58:11.639 --> 00:58:21.679
JD passed on for ten generations about what happened the
878
00:58:22.280 --> 00:58:23.559
ten generations ago?
879
00:58:24.639 --> 00:58:28.199
Who are we talking about? Because it's different if real
880
00:58:28.320 --> 00:58:31.639
time get me out to me, just got hit me.
881
00:58:31.760 --> 00:58:38.679
We're talking about JD. We're talking about generations ago. We're
882
00:58:38.760 --> 00:58:43.119
talking about JD. JD is black culture period, right, So
883
00:58:43.320 --> 00:58:46.840
my cells recreate themselves in my while I'm alive, I'm
884
00:58:46.920 --> 00:58:51.719
still getting new cells. So this doesn't stop right if
885
00:58:51.760 --> 00:58:54.000
there's trauma that's happened to me. But let's say the
886
00:58:54.119 --> 00:58:58.639
system says I didn't do it, I'm not helping, doesn't
887
00:58:59.480 --> 00:59:03.320
make me. Eventually, I'm laying in the middle of the street.
888
00:59:03.800 --> 00:59:04.559
Well are you there?
889
00:59:04.719 --> 00:59:04.880
Now?
890
00:59:05.559 --> 00:59:08.719
Are we talking about where you laid ten generations ago?
891
00:59:09.360 --> 00:59:10.920
Because it's different. Is something just happen.
892
00:59:11.199 --> 00:59:14.880
Let's get there. Let's get there for a second. Let's
893
00:59:14.880 --> 00:59:19.679
get there for a second. I'm laying in the middle
894
00:59:19.679 --> 00:59:24.519
of the street. Okay, so that street is needed to
895
00:59:25.039 --> 00:59:28.800
continue our systems. We need to get passed. So now
896
00:59:28.840 --> 00:59:32.760
we're going, hey, man, get out of the way. But
897
00:59:32.960 --> 00:59:37.719
my my injuries haven't been healed. So somebody may come
898
00:59:37.800 --> 00:59:40.320
along and say, well, let me help move you out
899
00:59:40.320 --> 00:59:43.079
of the way. But they're not a doctor. They don't
900
00:59:43.159 --> 00:59:45.320
know the trauma that and so when they start to
901
00:59:45.400 --> 00:59:48.599
move me, now I'm also getting re injured because now
902
00:59:49.199 --> 00:59:52.280
or I have to try and compensate for my own injuries.
903
00:59:52.760 --> 00:59:57.079
And often when we when we don't heal our injuries,
904
00:59:57.360 --> 00:59:59.800
we're over compensating. I have a bad knee. I'm a
905
01:00:00.199 --> 01:00:03.639
walk stronger on this knee. Now the rest of my
906
01:00:03.719 --> 01:00:06.400
body is starting to get out of place because I'm
907
01:00:06.440 --> 01:00:10.920
over here. So you're talking about culturally having to operate
908
01:00:11.039 --> 01:00:14.000
in this system, getting out of people's way, being told
909
01:00:14.159 --> 01:00:17.280
pick yourselves up by your bootstraps. And I can't even
910
01:00:17.400 --> 01:00:19.719
reach my dag on boots right now because I'm so
911
01:00:19.960 --> 01:00:22.599
injured and we've never healed these things.
912
01:00:23.039 --> 01:00:26.719
I guess what will people have an issue with? It
913
01:00:26.880 --> 01:00:35.159
was just talking so called reparations. We're trying to We're
914
01:00:35.280 --> 01:00:40.159
trying to make the driver with your analogy, who ran
915
01:00:40.360 --> 01:00:41.360
JD over.
916
01:00:43.639 --> 01:00:51.039
Ten generations ago, his family paid for what he did
917
01:00:52.000 --> 01:00:52.400
to you.
918
01:00:53.320 --> 01:00:57.719
No, I'm saying we need any generations to go that. Now.
919
01:00:58.840 --> 01:01:01.000
We we gotta get.
920
01:01:03.840 --> 01:01:12.239
Uh medical examiner to perform an optopsy on a corpse
921
01:01:12.360 --> 01:01:15.039
that embari for ten generations to one.
922
01:01:15.320 --> 01:01:18.519
To rebuild what happened.
923
01:01:18.199 --> 01:01:21.320
To j D, to see and can find out who
924
01:01:21.440 --> 01:01:24.480
who did this to JD to go get the right
925
01:01:24.599 --> 01:01:29.760
of perussion, who did that injury to JD or their family.
926
01:01:31.400 --> 01:01:35.000
No, you don't have to do that. You don't have to, okay,
927
01:01:35.039 --> 01:01:40.280
because now JD is a father of children lead and
928
01:01:40.440 --> 01:01:43.480
he's stuck in the street because he can't physically get
929
01:01:43.559 --> 01:01:46.360
himself up. And now it's impacting the rest of the
930
01:01:46.480 --> 01:01:49.519
life around him. It's impacting his role in the community.
931
01:01:49.840 --> 01:01:52.559
He getting able to open up his business, the hardware
932
01:01:52.639 --> 01:01:55.039
store wasn't able to open up all of these things.
933
01:01:55.239 --> 01:02:00.639
We can't keep things isolated. That's that individualistic mentality, say culture,
934
01:02:00.679 --> 01:02:02.760
we are all connected to one another.
935
01:02:02.840 --> 01:02:05.320
So we have we also had to look at.
936
01:02:05.800 --> 01:02:08.360
We have caused generational harm because the rest of the
937
01:02:08.400 --> 01:02:11.719
world is also still going and they get to continue
938
01:02:11.760 --> 01:02:14.519
to gather more resources and continue to gather more and
939
01:02:15.039 --> 01:02:19.960
JD's family is now set behind. Rather than we have
940
01:02:20.119 --> 01:02:22.800
a plate, we have systems in place, and if we
941
01:02:22.920 --> 01:02:26.920
had love in our systems, we would you would not
942
01:02:27.159 --> 01:02:32.320
have to overcompensate. We punish those with less but not
943
01:02:32.559 --> 01:02:35.039
having as much. In this system, we charge you more.
944
01:02:35.360 --> 01:02:37.559
You have to go through more to get your resources,
945
01:02:37.840 --> 01:02:39.760
all of these different things. We have set up a
946
01:02:39.840 --> 01:02:42.760
system that makes it more challenging. So that's not a
947
01:02:42.880 --> 01:02:46.639
loving system that we we can define it as tough love.
948
01:02:46.880 --> 01:02:51.199
But that's because we have the power to define what in.
949
01:02:51.280 --> 01:02:58.159
What country are millionni people prospering most?
950
01:02:59.159 --> 01:03:00.880
So let me ask you this, no no no, no,
951
01:03:00.960 --> 01:03:03.000
no no no no no hold on answers answer that
952
01:03:03.119 --> 01:03:06.280
question first, then do you think, as as asked your question.
953
01:03:07.760 --> 01:03:11.960
I don't know where they prospering the most. I don't
954
01:03:12.000 --> 01:03:15.039
know because my definition of prospering is might be different.
955
01:03:15.079 --> 01:03:18.800
I'm not just okay, well, well, well wealth, right.
956
01:03:19.079 --> 01:03:21.559
But my definition of wealth is.
957
01:03:23.039 --> 01:03:28.400
Still has wealth, not not not necessarily Jesse's definition of wealth,
958
01:03:29.000 --> 01:03:36.079
but general population. If people want to say, okay, here, okay,
959
01:03:36.840 --> 01:03:41.559
here in this country, there are more black millionnaires in
960
01:03:41.639 --> 01:03:45.360
the world. They are more black millionaires anywhere in the world.
961
01:03:46.480 --> 01:03:57.440
The Black American community three point seven seven trillion after taxes.
962
01:03:58.519 --> 01:04:00.519
Hispanics are now number one.
963
01:04:01.360 --> 01:04:01.679
Mm hm.
964
01:04:02.159 --> 01:04:08.280
They may force something. So is that not reparations.
965
01:04:09.000 --> 01:04:12.320
No, that's not reparations. That's that's showing us that the
966
01:04:12.440 --> 01:04:16.880
greatest people have suffered the most and still are able
967
01:04:17.000 --> 01:04:20.360
to thrive. Right, So, when we want to talk about
968
01:04:20.400 --> 01:04:25.360
superiority versus inferiority, then we are showing ourselves to be
969
01:04:26.159 --> 01:04:30.079
that we have harmed people for so long, blown up towns,
970
01:04:30.199 --> 01:04:34.000
and every time you're going to so you still economically
971
01:04:34.079 --> 01:04:38.840
don't own and control banking systems, don't enough to really
972
01:04:39.360 --> 01:04:43.880
have your own structures, don't own and control education systems.
973
01:04:44.039 --> 01:04:44.360
Media.
974
01:04:45.639 --> 01:04:49.800
Huh, have blacks ever controlled the education system of the
975
01:04:49.880 --> 01:04:51.400
community or banks.
976
01:04:53.360 --> 01:04:55.960
More so, I would say different periods of times, and
977
01:04:56.559 --> 01:05:01.119
in Africa and other nations before that, not here, before
978
01:05:01.559 --> 01:05:05.159
white folks showed up and during certain segregation times.
979
01:05:04.960 --> 01:05:09.199
Yes, certain education times like what what what? What said?
980
01:05:09.400 --> 01:05:12.039
Education times are your frone to so even in like
981
01:05:12.239 --> 01:05:16.119
Jim Crow and whatnot? When when we wanted to keep
982
01:05:16.400 --> 01:05:19.320
So this is what I'm saying, reparations isn't just about
983
01:05:19.679 --> 01:05:25.840
uh slavery. Since then, we've we've changed that bill. Going
984
01:05:25.920 --> 01:05:29.880
back to the building of harm, we went from laying
985
01:05:29.960 --> 01:05:34.840
the concrete to building the infrastructures. We're doing different things,
986
01:05:34.960 --> 01:05:38.639
but we're still trying to control the resources and exclude
987
01:05:39.000 --> 01:05:42.480
black folks from them and even till they thrive. Even
988
01:05:42.519 --> 01:05:46.199
though they thrive, all of a sudden, now you're thriving
989
01:05:46.320 --> 01:05:50.119
becomes a threat to my success. This is where we
990
01:05:50.239 --> 01:05:53.000
are right now. We're so worried about everybody taking our
991
01:05:53.400 --> 01:05:57.239
jobs or taking this or taking that. Why Because everybody
992
01:05:57.320 --> 01:06:00.400
else's success is a threat to our success. That is
993
01:06:00.440 --> 01:06:06.719
a scarcity competitive mentality of which we're in this rat
994
01:06:06.840 --> 01:06:08.480
race we call race.
995
01:06:08.639 --> 01:06:11.119
I guess, I guess it is that work because again,
996
01:06:11.199 --> 01:06:12.239
I go through the payments.
997
01:06:12.280 --> 01:06:20.519
That everything is based on economics, right, not sccualty, as
998
01:06:20.599 --> 01:06:28.039
you agreed, making making cold valuable, making dark stuff that
999
01:06:28.079 --> 01:06:31.880
come up to the ground valuable right where every reaching
1000
01:06:31.920 --> 01:06:35.199
the people were tripping over oil, tipping over gold, didn't care,
1001
01:06:35.760 --> 01:06:39.719
but use it in the barter system. So before we
1002
01:06:39.880 --> 01:06:44.440
were doing notches on a stick. Then we start using
1003
01:06:45.960 --> 01:06:49.599
cattle to change goods. And then we came up and
1004
01:06:49.679 --> 01:06:54.000
started doing gold. And then we said, well we can't
1005
01:06:54.079 --> 01:06:57.400
be walking around with big heavy badge of.
1006
01:06:57.440 --> 01:07:02.559
Gold less put let's use the dollar of paper dollars
1007
01:07:02.880 --> 01:07:05.239
changed the same value. But still it's to.
1008
01:07:05.360 --> 01:07:09.320
Drive economic system. But one more point as you close,
1009
01:07:09.880 --> 01:07:18.960
when you mentioned about the cancel culture, Yeah, does that
1010
01:07:19.079 --> 01:07:22.639
fit into or into ways?
1011
01:07:24.119 --> 01:07:26.360
Of course, it's a white it's a white cultural thing.
1012
01:07:26.760 --> 01:07:29.440
We're either going to shoot you or deny you, or
1013
01:07:29.960 --> 01:07:33.039
cancel you if you disagree with us on both sides
1014
01:07:33.079 --> 01:07:36.320
of it. It's it's a very reactive part of our
1015
01:07:36.400 --> 01:07:42.679
culture because we're in a position. We're in a position
1016
01:07:42.800 --> 01:07:47.119
to be able to define our lives much greater, so easier.
1017
01:07:47.599 --> 01:07:54.039
I can use my position to decide to cancel what
1018
01:07:54.480 --> 01:07:58.960
you're your disagreement with me. We can't continue a conversation
1019
01:07:59.519 --> 01:08:02.920
because can continuing a conversation would have to lead us
1020
01:08:03.079 --> 01:08:06.079
to our own and our own figuring out how do
1021
01:08:06.159 --> 01:08:08.880
we share these things When we can easily and that's
1022
01:08:09.000 --> 01:08:12.119
easier for us, why not do that? So I want
1023
01:08:12.159 --> 01:08:14.960
to just ask you one question. I know it's your interview.
1024
01:08:15.599 --> 01:08:23.600
I don't know name one place where Europeans have shown
1025
01:08:23.720 --> 01:08:29.600
up and improved the quality of life for those who
1026
01:08:29.680 --> 01:08:35.520
were already occupying those lands. Improve the quality of life,
1027
01:08:35.680 --> 01:08:41.479
not this monetary economic thing, but actually improve the quality
1028
01:08:41.520 --> 01:08:43.520
of life. I will tell you no, we are the
1029
01:08:43.680 --> 01:08:47.760
sickest people. We have so much health problems. We have
1030
01:08:48.479 --> 01:08:52.239
destroyed our soil, destroyed the earth. There's so much problems
1031
01:08:52.800 --> 01:08:57.600
in our society. And the people that were here but
1032
01:08:58.039 --> 01:08:58.760
not benefit.
1033
01:08:58.880 --> 01:09:01.560
But that's not what you I mean when you look
1034
01:09:01.680 --> 01:09:09.439
at the quality of life, the the prosperity, the the
1035
01:09:10.479 --> 01:09:13.680
the American ideal that we were able to export to
1036
01:09:13.800 --> 01:09:18.600
the rest of the world, that they benefited from Europe
1037
01:09:18.760 --> 01:09:22.720
and and all other cultures benefit from the American experience.
1038
01:09:22.800 --> 01:09:27.880
That without this American experience they would not been able
1039
01:09:27.960 --> 01:09:28.720
to benefit from.
1040
01:09:29.720 --> 01:09:31.600
I'm not saying that the American experiences.
1041
01:09:33.880 --> 01:09:37.319
Not the people that were already occupying this land did
1042
01:09:37.399 --> 01:09:40.760
not benefit from that. They were living a much more
1043
01:09:40.840 --> 01:09:43.039
comfortable life before we got here.
1044
01:09:43.800 --> 01:09:49.159
Well that's relative, Okay, that's relative.
1045
01:09:49.199 --> 01:09:52.439
That's because because I'm not necessarily of course, I'm not
1046
01:09:52.560 --> 01:09:55.439
totally disagree with you, because of course when you look
1047
01:09:55.479 --> 01:09:59.520
at where their ingenuity and and and their culture was.
1048
01:10:00.079 --> 01:10:11.680
But when when you look at everything, we are animals
1049
01:10:12.720 --> 01:10:13.520
on a higher level.
1050
01:10:13.560 --> 01:10:16.880
But we still animals when you look at.
1051
01:10:18.359 --> 01:10:25.479
The the conqueror and the conqueror, just as you would
1052
01:10:25.680 --> 01:10:30.960
in any animal society, the weakest where paris.
1053
01:10:30.960 --> 01:10:31.600
To the strong.
1054
01:10:32.079 --> 01:10:36.680
Now you may have an argument on where the fairness
1055
01:10:36.760 --> 01:10:42.119
of it, but there's a reason things happen, and I
1056
01:10:42.199 --> 01:10:44.920
can't say that. But when I step back and look
1057
01:10:44.960 --> 01:10:49.880
at where the possibility from that period has led this
1058
01:10:50.159 --> 01:10:54.680
country and led myself, we are better than any other
1059
01:10:54.840 --> 01:10:58.760
country on the planet when you look at the a
1060
01:11:00.239 --> 01:11:06.159
level of wealth, individual wealth, particularly the but people in
1061
01:11:06.239 --> 01:11:10.920
this country make the poorest person in South America blush right.
1062
01:11:12.560 --> 01:11:15.560
But harm was used. It didn't improve the quality of
1063
01:11:15.720 --> 01:11:19.079
life for those people. When we showed up. We didn't
1064
01:11:19.119 --> 01:11:21.039
show up and say this is how you can do that.
1065
01:11:22.960 --> 01:11:27.199
They we actually used your ability to be ingenuous, And
1066
01:11:27.319 --> 01:11:32.680
the only thing we've ever really been ingenuity about is
1067
01:11:32.760 --> 01:11:37.520
creating this imitation of life and having a patent system
1068
01:11:37.600 --> 01:11:41.119
and a ways to control and grab this wealth. But
1069
01:11:41.239 --> 01:11:43.640
at the end of the day, the apple tree is
1070
01:11:43.720 --> 01:11:46.239
going to feed me, The money isn't going to I
1071
01:11:46.319 --> 01:11:50.520
can't eat it. So we've created this whole outside world
1072
01:11:50.880 --> 01:11:55.000
that doesn't need to exist for economic purposes so we
1073
01:11:55.079 --> 01:11:59.760
can control the resources. And we have caused harm every
1074
01:12:00.199 --> 01:12:03.199
single place that we have gone to the people that
1075
01:12:03.279 --> 01:12:07.000
were already there, never improving their quality of life.
1076
01:12:07.399 --> 01:12:12.680
Well, now again one can be detached. Both both both
1077
01:12:12.800 --> 01:12:13.520
can be correct.
1078
01:12:14.159 --> 01:12:14.640
Mm hmmm.
1079
01:12:14.800 --> 01:12:18.199
Where we destroyed the the initial people who were here,
1080
01:12:18.760 --> 01:12:22.159
but then there they're foult that the children that the
1081
01:12:22.279 --> 01:12:25.640
children came after them. I could say, I'm a lot
1082
01:12:25.720 --> 01:12:27.479
wealthier than my grandparents.
1083
01:12:28.079 --> 01:12:30.000
I show a lot wealthier.
1084
01:12:31.319 --> 01:12:34.279
And a lot more affluent than my grandparents, grandparents grandparents.
1085
01:12:34.760 --> 01:12:38.920
So again, yeah, I could say some eggs were broken
1086
01:12:39.880 --> 01:12:40.319
back then.
1087
01:12:40.840 --> 01:12:46.159
Truth, had had your grandparents not been you don't think
1088
01:12:46.319 --> 01:12:49.600
you had they not been harmed, you don't think you
1089
01:12:49.920 --> 01:12:56.039
would still be wealthier than them, right, So no, not not.
1090
01:12:56.279 --> 01:13:01.279
Not not not again respeculating right, and and we're looking
1091
01:13:01.359 --> 01:13:03.840
at what might have been. No, because when you look
1092
01:13:03.920 --> 01:13:09.000
at the steps that the Europeans based on the Christian Bible.
1093
01:13:10.800 --> 01:13:14.159
First the Christian Bible, because Christian Bible corrected a lot
1094
01:13:14.239 --> 01:13:19.000
of errors that man alone, because they're still slavery in Africa,
1095
01:13:20.279 --> 01:13:23.119
which staying got a Christian Bible. My people in this
1096
01:13:23.520 --> 01:13:28.960
slave blacks and dis country were free due to Christian theology.
1097
01:13:30.199 --> 01:13:33.319
No, I will will have to talk about that another time.
1098
01:13:33.680 --> 01:13:35.239
Oh no, you can do that, we could happen.
1099
01:13:35.359 --> 01:13:37.800
But again, when you look at a constitution, a constitution
1100
01:13:38.119 --> 01:13:41.520
was based on the Bible, and there's no other country,
1101
01:13:41.880 --> 01:13:48.479
even England, even though they abandoned slavery before us. The
1102
01:13:48.560 --> 01:13:51.479
way that we got out of slavery was adherence to
1103
01:13:51.560 --> 01:13:53.720
the constitution, which is based on the Bible.
1104
01:13:57.039 --> 01:13:59.079
So that's why I see the connection there.
1105
01:13:59.199 --> 01:14:03.600
And when you look at how partisan theology was imposed
1106
01:14:04.880 --> 01:14:08.920
as a culture that corrected a lot of things that
1107
01:14:09.399 --> 01:14:12.399
were not being corrected because you still got issues in
1108
01:14:12.560 --> 01:14:18.159
Europe that you don't have here in regards to how
1109
01:14:19.119 --> 01:14:24.560
racist deal with deal with one another. And not saying
1110
01:14:24.600 --> 01:14:29.399
it's perfect, but I'm saying line, everything, everything up side
1111
01:14:29.439 --> 01:14:32.039
by side. America is still the best country on the planet,
1112
01:14:32.439 --> 01:14:33.880
even even with its warts.
1113
01:14:35.840 --> 01:14:38.960
No, we're only the best because we designed an economic
1114
01:14:39.039 --> 01:14:44.079
system that allows us to control resources through harming others.
1115
01:14:44.359 --> 01:14:45.720
And it's not necessary.
1116
01:14:46.000 --> 01:14:47.479
I didn't say it is perfect.
1117
01:14:47.640 --> 01:14:53.079
It's not necessary. We could share in these resources and
1118
01:14:53.199 --> 01:14:57.039
restructure how we use the planet, and and the planet
1119
01:14:57.079 --> 01:14:59.520
would take care of us. Life already worked. So I
1120
01:14:59.560 --> 01:15:03.119
would say Christians from a European standpoint got it wrong,
1121
01:15:03.479 --> 01:15:07.239
and the true Christians are from that of a more
1122
01:15:07.319 --> 01:15:12.960
melanated culture in the But there's no money in that, right,
1123
01:15:13.079 --> 01:15:16.039
But we don't need money to exist, So that whole
1124
01:15:16.680 --> 01:15:22.880
created imitation of life is what we're operating in because
1125
01:15:22.960 --> 01:15:26.279
money doesn't have to do anything. At some point we're
1126
01:15:26.319 --> 01:15:28.640
going to have to ask somebody, how much is it
1127
01:15:28.720 --> 01:15:30.800
going to cost me to get you to pass the
1128
01:15:31.600 --> 01:15:34.319
salt to me at the dinner table. We don't need
1129
01:15:34.479 --> 01:15:37.159
money to make all of these things happen. Money doesn't
1130
01:15:37.199 --> 01:15:42.079
do anything on its own, but our own our currency
1131
01:15:42.159 --> 01:15:45.600
is only as valuable as our ability to shoot and
1132
01:15:45.720 --> 01:15:48.880
destroy you because our military is the only thing backing
1133
01:15:49.239 --> 01:15:53.239
our currency. So causing harm is what we do best.
1134
01:15:53.760 --> 01:15:55.800
Destroying crap is what we do best.
1135
01:15:56.319 --> 01:16:00.359
Right, Yeah, that's correct, now, that's that's that's what we do.
1136
01:16:00.520 --> 01:16:03.479
But still, I mean, ain't.
1137
01:16:02.960 --> 01:16:09.880
Nothing, there's nothing would say that's right about Now, that's.
1138
01:16:09.720 --> 01:16:11.880
That's a whole no conversation. And I agree with you there.
1139
01:16:12.319 --> 01:16:13.199
But when you ask me.
1140
01:16:16.079 --> 01:16:22.520
Basically, what country that whites come to that is not
1141
01:16:22.840 --> 01:16:26.399
better off than when they so called quote unquote first landed,
1142
01:16:26.880 --> 01:16:27.279
I will.
1143
01:16:27.199 --> 01:16:32.359
Always look at not not the beginning, but where we
1144
01:16:32.479 --> 01:16:32.880
are now.
1145
01:16:34.560 --> 01:16:36.680
I can say what they did back there was funked up,
1146
01:16:37.439 --> 01:16:40.840
But I can always say also say when you look
1147
01:16:40.920 --> 01:16:45.920
at the animal kingdom, where there is another animal introduced
1148
01:16:46.000 --> 01:16:50.079
to a space that wasn't there another predator, they will
1149
01:16:50.159 --> 01:16:53.760
we have it on those creatures who aren't used to
1150
01:16:53.880 --> 01:16:58.159
their presence, and they would eat them up until the
1151
01:16:58.279 --> 01:17:02.039
people that those creatures there that before them, would developed
1152
01:17:02.039 --> 01:17:06.119
a resistance to them, either turn around and defeat them
1153
01:17:06.880 --> 01:17:11.760
or coosist with them, even in a less superior position,
1154
01:17:13.319 --> 01:17:14.600
which is kind of where we are.
1155
01:17:18.199 --> 01:17:24.439
Well. I would say that the most inferior people, the
1156
01:17:24.600 --> 01:17:29.159
least the most mutated people from our natural source had
1157
01:17:29.239 --> 01:17:34.079
to create a world of competition because upon true meritocracy
1158
01:17:34.399 --> 01:17:37.840
where we didn't have this outside element that we created
1159
01:17:38.239 --> 01:17:41.560
in the economics. In true meritocracy, that's why we don't
1160
01:17:41.600 --> 01:17:45.119
want reparations, not because we're afraid black folks are going
1161
01:17:45.199 --> 01:17:48.079
to harm us and do to us what we did
1162
01:17:48.159 --> 01:17:51.680
to them. We don't want it because in the true meritocracy,
1163
01:17:51.760 --> 01:17:55.079
we have not practiced being our best selves. We've just
1164
01:17:55.239 --> 01:17:58.800
practiced winning, which you either win by being your best
1165
01:17:58.840 --> 01:18:02.640
self or you win by harming your opponent. And that's
1166
01:18:02.680 --> 01:18:06.159
where we have chosen to operate and stay in. And
1167
01:18:06.319 --> 01:18:09.760
so those aren't true Christian values. We just use them
1168
01:18:10.039 --> 01:18:12.680
and we create a system that makes it look like
1169
01:18:13.039 --> 01:18:16.840
we're truly Christian. We didn't give up slavery because it
1170
01:18:17.000 --> 01:18:19.079
was the right thing to do. We gave up slavery
1171
01:18:19.199 --> 01:18:23.239
because economically there was a shift, and that was how
1172
01:18:23.479 --> 01:18:24.520
we decided.
1173
01:18:24.159 --> 01:18:24.479
To do that.
1174
01:18:24.680 --> 01:18:25.720
What's what's what's what's that?
1175
01:18:25.800 --> 01:18:30.520
What you use economically, I'm not opposed, I'm just from
1176
01:18:30.600 --> 01:18:40.079
our scarcity mentality, and then you fall back. I've appreciated
1177
01:18:40.119 --> 01:18:41.520
this conversation very.
1178
01:18:41.479 --> 01:18:49.039
Much, and I went over for a purpose because I mean,
1179
01:18:49.119 --> 01:18:51.079
you're very entertained if that downs.
1180
01:18:51.880 --> 01:18:54.359
And I enjoy your point of view.
1181
01:18:54.479 --> 01:18:58.600
And you know I always say we always got to
1182
01:18:58.680 --> 01:19:02.960
say the same thing, always got your hundredercent, but to
1183
01:19:03.279 --> 01:19:05.319
hear your point of view, and like, okay, I didn't.
1184
01:19:05.800 --> 01:19:08.439
I didn't heard it before, so now now I heard it.
1185
01:19:08.720 --> 01:19:13.640
Okay, it doesn't necessarily changing, but it does add right
1186
01:19:14.000 --> 01:19:17.680
to my position. And I may I might go back
1187
01:19:17.720 --> 01:19:21.119
and try to get more educated to see where to
1188
01:19:21.319 --> 01:19:26.880
just get this really out there philosophy from. And I
1189
01:19:27.000 --> 01:19:29.960
hope that people who may not initially agree with my
1190
01:19:30.079 --> 01:19:33.159
position or your position, what least leader might open to
1191
01:19:33.359 --> 01:19:35.920
maybe do the same to get more educated.
1192
01:19:35.960 --> 01:19:39.359
So then you know, I went into another JD. I
1193
01:19:39.439 --> 01:19:43.880
heard it before. I'm ready for you now, all right,
1194
01:19:44.680 --> 01:19:45.479
appreciate JD.
1195
01:19:46.199 --> 01:19:49.039
Appreciate you tell the folks where they could follow you
1196
01:19:49.680 --> 01:19:52.239
find the more about you get, get more involvedment maybe
1197
01:19:52.840 --> 01:19:53.039
to you.
1198
01:19:53.960 --> 01:19:56.800
The name of my book is Race for What. The
1199
01:19:56.920 --> 01:19:59.359
name of the website is Race for What. It's f
1200
01:19:59.439 --> 01:20:03.640
o R. So go check it out. You can get
1201
01:20:03.720 --> 01:20:06.399
all my social media links, you can see blogs that
1202
01:20:06.479 --> 01:20:09.520
I've written, you can get you know, purchased the book
1203
01:20:10.560 --> 01:20:13.479
and you know, do what you want with it. Read
1204
01:20:13.560 --> 01:20:16.640
it the audio book. Yeah, I have an audiobook an
1205
01:20:16.680 --> 01:20:23.520
ebook and paperback book, and uh yeah, let's let's keep
1206
01:20:23.560 --> 01:20:26.880
the conversation going and stop canceling each other. And that's
1207
01:20:27.359 --> 01:20:31.000
let's walk across the lines. Because there whether you're a
1208
01:20:31.079 --> 01:20:33.560
liberal or a or whether you have a liberal friend
1209
01:20:33.720 --> 01:20:37.119
or or a family member or a you know, a
1210
01:20:37.920 --> 01:20:41.439
conservative friend or family member, if you need one hundred dollars,
1211
01:20:42.119 --> 01:20:45.119
at a human level, probably both would give it to
1212
01:20:45.199 --> 01:20:47.720
you if they had it. If you need a ride,
1213
01:20:48.760 --> 01:20:50.600
need to ride, but.
1214
01:20:55.439 --> 01:21:01.319
I need you Chi though, Jess a good thing.
1215
01:21:01.600 --> 01:21:06.079
There's a level of humanity that exists across both and
1216
01:21:06.279 --> 01:21:09.880
there's more to it and more nuances to it than
1217
01:21:10.239 --> 01:21:12.239
than just being on one side or the other.
1218
01:21:13.840 --> 01:21:14.640
Appreciate j D.
1219
01:21:15.319 --> 01:21:17.239
Look for the following you and definitely reach out to me.
1220
01:21:17.680 --> 01:21:20.520
Uh if you if you want, if you want to
1221
01:21:20.640 --> 01:21:22.039
run his ball back, we can do that.
1222
01:21:22.399 --> 01:21:24.199
We can do that. I would I would love to.
1223
01:21:26.399 --> 01:21:26.439
You.
1224
01:21:27.560 --> 01:21:59.920
Okay mhm.
1225
01:22:07.680 --> 01:22:10.960
Thanks for listening to today's show, and don't forget to

I with the letter I, Project Thirdie
1
00:00:00.440 --> 00:00:04.120
Our foundering fathers here in this country, brought about the
2
00:00:04.160 --> 00:00:07.120
only true revolution that has ever taken place in man's history.
3
00:00:07.440 --> 00:00:11.080
Evolve the idea that you and I have within ourselves,
4
00:00:11.080 --> 00:00:14.039
the god given right and the ability to determine our
5
00:00:14.080 --> 00:00:14.759
own destiny.
6
00:00:15.480 --> 00:00:20.039
The United States of America the greatest nation in history,
7
00:00:20.519 --> 00:00:24.359
ordained by our founders to be guided by divine providence,
8
00:00:25.000 --> 00:00:30.239
but today we are witnessing the orchestrated disintegration of America.
9
00:00:31.039 --> 00:00:34.320
Take a few seconds and take a look around your town,
10
00:00:34.840 --> 00:00:39.119
your state, look at your country and your world, and
11
00:00:39.320 --> 00:00:42.799
boldly ask what in the hell is going on?
12
00:00:43.600 --> 00:00:46.399
Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.
13
00:00:47.240 --> 00:00:49.719
We didn't pass it on to our children in the bloodstream.
14
00:00:50.159 --> 00:00:52.359
The only way they can inherit the freedom we have
15
00:00:52.439 --> 00:00:56.479
known is if we fight for it, protect it, defend it,
16
00:00:56.840 --> 00:00:59.280
and then hand it to them with the well taught
17
00:00:59.359 --> 00:01:01.799
lessons of how they in their lifetime. Let's do the same.
18
00:01:02.079 --> 00:01:06.079
Welcome to the podcast Project Third Eye Opened, where we
19
00:01:06.319 --> 00:01:10.560
dare to question with boldness the events that are unfolding
20
00:01:10.599 --> 00:01:14.079
around us that others won't. At the end of the day,
21
00:01:14.560 --> 00:01:18.719
it is we the people who will decide the destiny
22
00:01:19.040 --> 00:01:23.599
of the Nation. Now introducing your host, Tony L.
23
00:01:28.760 --> 00:01:29.519
Greens there one.
24
00:01:29.840 --> 00:01:34.239
This is the project that I opened and this is
25
00:01:34.480 --> 00:01:40.560
another very special UH interview that I'm bringing to you,
26
00:01:41.159 --> 00:01:44.359
and we are speaking with mister Jesse Mass.
27
00:01:45.159 --> 00:01:52.079
He describes himself as an activist, entrepreneur. He actually a
28
00:01:52.120 --> 00:01:57.959
fellow podcast hoster, an author, and he is dedicated to
29
00:01:58.000 --> 00:02:00.599
a very interesting subject that are all of y'all.
30
00:02:01.200 --> 00:02:02.760
No. In regards to.
31
00:02:04.359 --> 00:02:11.719
He called you achieving the equitable society, that keyword being equality.
32
00:02:12.319 --> 00:02:16.960
So let's get his from the viewing v point on
33
00:02:17.000 --> 00:02:22.439
this and see how it is interesting to me and you.
34
00:02:22.479 --> 00:02:24.960
So let's let's move forward. How you doing, Jesse?
35
00:02:25.800 --> 00:02:28.039
I'm doing all right? And I also go by j D.
36
00:02:28.680 --> 00:02:31.080
Either one. I know my name popped up as Jesse,
37
00:02:31.199 --> 00:02:33.960
but yeah, what.
38
00:02:33.960 --> 00:02:36.800
Is I guess we know what Jamie? What what is?
39
00:02:36.840 --> 00:02:37.199
What is d?
40
00:02:37.879 --> 00:02:40.159
D is the first initial of my middle name. I
41
00:02:40.199 --> 00:02:42.360
actually been going by j D. My dad used to
42
00:02:42.439 --> 00:02:44.039
call me that as a young child.
43
00:02:44.120 --> 00:02:46.159
But yeah, okay, well let me let me correct that
44
00:02:46.319 --> 00:02:49.879
j duh. That's all right, if that go along with it?
45
00:02:49.960 --> 00:02:55.400
The right play I'm gonna call you play.
46
00:02:55.319 --> 00:02:58.599
There you go, there, you go, tell the first about
47
00:02:58.639 --> 00:03:02.000
your j d what do you do and when and
48
00:03:02.159 --> 00:03:02.960
why should we care?
49
00:03:04.439 --> 00:03:10.800
So, my parents wanted to raise their children. Uh and
50
00:03:10.840 --> 00:03:14.240
for those that are just listening as a as white
51
00:03:14.280 --> 00:03:17.360
children in and around black community, to them, that was
52
00:03:17.479 --> 00:03:21.599
very important to give us an opportunity at a life
53
00:03:21.680 --> 00:03:27.319
they'd never had coming from that era of real segregation
54
00:03:27.639 --> 00:03:30.080
and whatnot.
55
00:03:30.120 --> 00:03:32.759
Let's be clear when you say they, do you mean
56
00:03:32.840 --> 00:03:34.680
your parents or the community?
57
00:03:35.520 --> 00:03:42.039
My parents being they thank you for that, and so, uh,
58
00:03:42.919 --> 00:03:46.280
you know, civil rights was important to my father, especially.
59
00:03:46.439 --> 00:03:53.080
My mother had close relationships that also wanted that, and
60
00:03:53.120 --> 00:03:56.360
she she was They were both kind of into fighting
61
00:03:56.400 --> 00:03:58.000
the systems that be my mother.
62
00:03:59.000 --> 00:04:01.360
Let's let it, but I understand what part of the
63
00:04:01.400 --> 00:04:02.000
country is this?
64
00:04:02.680 --> 00:04:04.840
Okay? So this is in Saint Louis.
65
00:04:05.199 --> 00:04:08.280
Okay, okay, okay, what period.
66
00:04:08.919 --> 00:04:11.759
During I was born in seventy five, so you know,
67
00:04:12.039 --> 00:04:15.560
we moved to Saint Louis. We were in Philadelphia, my
68
00:04:15.599 --> 00:04:18.360
mother was in med school and we moved to Saint
69
00:04:18.399 --> 00:04:21.360
Louis in the at nineteen eighty Okay, so.
70
00:04:21.800 --> 00:04:24.800
Grew up at eighty the.
71
00:04:25.279 --> 00:04:31.040
Civil rights yeah, I guess sixty sixty five sons Okay, great.
72
00:04:31.600 --> 00:04:36.720
Yep, thank you for clarifying and so it was still, though,
73
00:04:36.839 --> 00:04:40.000
very divided, and we moved into the only community that
74
00:04:40.120 --> 00:04:44.480
was kind of integrating at that time or had recently integrated,
75
00:04:44.519 --> 00:04:48.160
and that was called University City, which anybody in Saint
76
00:04:48.199 --> 00:04:51.399
Louis knows University City is the greatest place on earth,
77
00:04:51.439 --> 00:04:54.279
at least at that time for sure, all right. And
78
00:04:54.399 --> 00:04:57.240
so we moved right next door to who became my
79
00:04:57.360 --> 00:05:00.439
best friends and their family, and it was grandmother, aunts
80
00:05:00.480 --> 00:05:05.120
and uncles. It was you know, the four boys brothers
81
00:05:05.199 --> 00:05:09.920
that I became best friends with, the older two, and
82
00:05:10.000 --> 00:05:15.439
so from four years old, I started to become a
83
00:05:15.480 --> 00:05:18.439
part of this black family and threw them at other people.
84
00:05:18.519 --> 00:05:22.360
And even though the area I grew up in was
85
00:05:22.399 --> 00:05:26.079
fifty percent white, the school district was over eighty percent black,
86
00:05:26.120 --> 00:05:30.040
and really when you got into middle school and high school,
87
00:05:30.040 --> 00:05:36.639
it was over ninety percent black attendees. And so I
88
00:05:36.720 --> 00:05:40.639
developed friendships with my peers, and I happened to be
89
00:05:40.680 --> 00:05:45.600
the least least melanated person amongst them. And because of that,
90
00:05:45.720 --> 00:05:48.800
I got to experience what life was like, sort of
91
00:05:48.839 --> 00:05:51.319
how they were treated by society, how I was treated
92
00:05:51.360 --> 00:05:59.480
differently by society, and I got to start to understand Oh.
93
00:05:59.319 --> 00:06:01.600
So, let me ask you one more question. I'm curious
94
00:06:01.639 --> 00:06:04.519
to ask the questions to top of my head. What's
95
00:06:04.560 --> 00:06:05.360
your ethnicity?
96
00:06:06.199 --> 00:06:08.720
Oh, I'm I'm a white Jewish male.
97
00:06:09.759 --> 00:06:10.040
Okay.
98
00:06:12.759 --> 00:06:20.360
So I So I got to see, you know, discrimination,
99
00:06:20.600 --> 00:06:23.720
I got to see police, you know, harassing us. I
100
00:06:23.759 --> 00:06:27.319
got to see how they weren't able to take things
101
00:06:27.360 --> 00:06:29.240
back in them all and I could go back in
102
00:06:29.319 --> 00:06:31.439
and take them right back. I got to see and
103
00:06:31.519 --> 00:06:33.759
experience a lot of different things. I got to see
104
00:06:33.800 --> 00:06:36.439
an experience when we took my black friends to my
105
00:06:36.519 --> 00:06:40.480
grandparents country club, and you know, and they weren't part
106
00:06:40.480 --> 00:06:42.079
of the help, but they were able to jump in
107
00:06:42.120 --> 00:06:45.160
the pool, and and just the looks that we got
108
00:06:45.199 --> 00:06:48.000
and the murmurs and the talking, and you know how
109
00:06:48.040 --> 00:06:51.480
my grand parents were uncomfortable and all of these different things.
110
00:06:51.560 --> 00:06:54.959
And I really just wanted to understand why. So my
111
00:06:55.079 --> 00:06:58.079
life journey has been really to kind of understand why
112
00:06:58.199 --> 00:07:01.519
racism started, Why did it, why does it exist? What
113
00:07:01.759 --> 00:07:07.839
makes us weaponize segregation instead of be curious about other cultures?
114
00:07:08.319 --> 00:07:12.639
How has that system grown from the time it started?
115
00:07:12.720 --> 00:07:14.720
And so I've been on a journey to do so,
116
00:07:15.199 --> 00:07:19.399
and I'm now sharing what I've experienced, what I've learned
117
00:07:19.439 --> 00:07:22.160
and what I've found in my theories.
118
00:07:22.639 --> 00:07:28.279
And because I'm interested, because I kind of started on
119
00:07:28.319 --> 00:07:29.480
a similar journey.
120
00:07:29.800 --> 00:07:31.279
I'm nineteen sixty five.
121
00:07:31.120 --> 00:07:40.959
Baby born in the in a southern family. Forced my
122
00:07:41.040 --> 00:07:43.199
dad was in the military, so I was very fortunate
123
00:07:43.240 --> 00:07:46.800
to be able to travel and not just grow up
124
00:07:46.879 --> 00:07:53.800
in the southern community like my cousins and grandparents, so have.
125
00:07:53.879 --> 00:07:58.600
More of a worldview in regards to what is my
126
00:08:00.240 --> 00:08:05.839
world belief all right, And like you, I was curious about.
127
00:08:07.879 --> 00:08:15.879
Cultures, why my people were treated so much differently from
128
00:08:16.959 --> 00:08:20.839
people who we who us as a nation went war
129
00:08:20.879 --> 00:08:27.839
against Japanese, the Mexicans, even with Jews. Jews got a
130
00:08:27.879 --> 00:08:33.600
culture that has my oppression and you know, someone say
131
00:08:33.759 --> 00:08:36.600
worse than ours because you guys got pushed out of countries,
132
00:08:37.080 --> 00:08:37.279
you know.
133
00:08:38.519 --> 00:08:40.919
So I was curious about.
134
00:08:40.639 --> 00:08:45.399
That, and that led me on my path to.
135
00:08:45.480 --> 00:08:50.000
Understand what's up? You know, why is it's an.
136
00:08:50.000 --> 00:08:54.799
Issue and why is it still being an issue. But
137
00:08:55.080 --> 00:08:57.919
I kind of think our past went in litup is
138
00:08:58.559 --> 00:09:05.840
different by how where we ended up. Because so I'm curious,
139
00:09:06.000 --> 00:09:09.759
what have you learned on your journey?
140
00:09:09.879 --> 00:09:19.080
So I learned that racism is about controlling resources, right,
141
00:09:19.360 --> 00:09:24.840
It's about it's not the we use discrimination, we use bigotry,
142
00:09:24.879 --> 00:09:28.120
we use these other harmful methods.
143
00:09:28.279 --> 00:09:32.080
I like to be clear who's we.
144
00:09:33.600 --> 00:09:33.840
Uh.
145
00:09:35.240 --> 00:09:39.799
Well, European colonizing culture, right, this is where it this
146
00:09:39.879 --> 00:09:44.960
is where it really started. And so but in a
147
00:09:45.039 --> 00:09:50.840
discussion about identifying racism, where anybody, uh, the we is
148
00:09:51.120 --> 00:09:53.879
kind of all of us in the discussion often see
149
00:09:53.960 --> 00:09:56.919
something and go, oh, that was racist because they discriminated,
150
00:09:57.039 --> 00:09:59.840
or that was racist because they don't want that book read,
151
00:09:59.919 --> 00:10:05.639
or that was right. Yet the real racism is controlling resources.
152
00:10:05.759 --> 00:10:11.639
It was a competition to control resources. And so that's
153
00:10:11.679 --> 00:10:16.320
where the real harm is done. In controlling resources, which
154
00:10:16.320 --> 00:10:19.960
means you're controlling opportunities, which means you have systems built
155
00:10:20.000 --> 00:10:24.759
to designed to make things accessible or not accessible, all
156
00:10:24.799 --> 00:10:28.200
of these different things. So I wanted to understand, well,
157
00:10:28.200 --> 00:10:31.639
where did that come from? And if you look at
158
00:10:32.039 --> 00:10:37.200
Europe where less melanated people occupied, especially back you know
159
00:10:37.519 --> 00:10:42.279
six hundred to two thousand years ago, these less melanated
160
00:10:42.279 --> 00:10:46.039
people occupied in area that was less sun, which makes
161
00:10:46.080 --> 00:10:49.320
sense because we don't have the melanin to absorb the sun,
162
00:10:49.679 --> 00:10:52.120
so we need to keep our butts out of the sun,
163
00:10:52.159 --> 00:10:56.279
and we didn't have SPF fifty lotions and all these
164
00:10:56.320 --> 00:10:59.120
different things to keep us occupied. So we were in
165
00:10:59.159 --> 00:11:02.440
that area. Well, that area, because it has less sun,
166
00:11:02.519 --> 00:11:05.679
doesn't have all the natural resources that the earth provides,
167
00:11:05.960 --> 00:11:10.360
and our bodies need all of those natural resources to
168
00:11:10.399 --> 00:11:14.559
be whole and balanced in all of that. So now
169
00:11:15.039 --> 00:11:19.320
we're getting sick when you have less resources. So for
170
00:11:19.399 --> 00:11:21.960
those viewers that can't see, I'm holding up a glass
171
00:11:22.000 --> 00:11:24.360
of water. If you and I thought this was the
172
00:11:24.440 --> 00:11:27.480
last of the water and we both need water, we
173
00:11:27.519 --> 00:11:30.840
wouldn't be having a friendly conversation. Every time I took
174
00:11:30.919 --> 00:11:34.120
a sip of this water, you would be like, that
175
00:11:34.240 --> 00:11:35.840
was a sip I could have had for me and
176
00:11:35.919 --> 00:11:39.320
my family. And so now we develop in this zero
177
00:11:39.440 --> 00:11:42.480
sum mentality, which leads us to a competition, which, if
178
00:11:42.519 --> 00:11:47.399
you understand the term race, we're in a race. Everything
179
00:11:47.440 --> 00:11:51.120
is about competition in our economic structure. That is the
180
00:11:51.120 --> 00:11:54.519
first thing you learn. There is a scarcity of resources
181
00:11:54.559 --> 00:11:58.440
on the planet. Therefore we need to control those resources,
182
00:11:59.080 --> 00:12:03.120
and we're in competition with everybody to gain control of
183
00:12:03.120 --> 00:12:07.279
those resources. So we have such a competitive nature in
184
00:12:07.440 --> 00:12:11.519
our society and Look, I'm not saying this from a
185
00:12:11.679 --> 00:12:15.559
give every kid a trophy and all of that. In sports.
186
00:12:15.639 --> 00:12:19.039
Let it be competitive, but don't let the competition of
187
00:12:19.200 --> 00:12:23.840
sports fuel over into the rest of our life. Let's
188
00:12:23.960 --> 00:12:29.399
understand context, because why can't you and I share space
189
00:12:29.440 --> 00:12:33.519
and podcast land and not be in competition, but just
190
00:12:33.600 --> 00:12:37.440
share the space and both of us have our contributions
191
00:12:37.480 --> 00:12:40.639
to that. Why can't we collaborate, Why can't we cooperate?
192
00:12:40.960 --> 00:12:43.519
Why do we have to see each other as competition?
193
00:12:44.039 --> 00:12:46.759
And if you look at how ingrained that is in
194
00:12:46.799 --> 00:12:53.440
our society, we have such a level of competition in everything,
195
00:12:53.720 --> 00:12:57.200
and then we want to know why humanity doesn't exist
196
00:12:57.240 --> 00:12:59.759
because we don't see each other as humans. We see
197
00:12:59.759 --> 00:13:03.000
each other as competitors. They have we don't. And if
198
00:13:03.039 --> 00:13:08.200
you start to look at the history of Europeans and
199
00:13:08.320 --> 00:13:13.440
Greco Roman culture going into other places, they acknowledged that
200
00:13:13.559 --> 00:13:16.320
these people were willing to share a village to raise
201
00:13:16.360 --> 00:13:20.440
a child. Mentality came out of an abundance mentality Why
202
00:13:20.480 --> 00:13:24.480
because there was an abundance of resources in these areas
203
00:13:24.480 --> 00:13:29.919
where melanated folks lived, and so here they are willing
204
00:13:29.919 --> 00:13:32.559
to share. And we're still coming with that whole. Wait,
205
00:13:32.679 --> 00:13:35.440
if you have it, we don't, we need that, we're
206
00:13:35.440 --> 00:13:37.720
going to take it. And if I'm going to build
207
00:13:37.799 --> 00:13:42.919
a system that says my less melanated skin makes me
208
00:13:43.159 --> 00:13:47.000
better than you, superior than you, smarter than you, all
209
00:13:47.039 --> 00:13:50.200
of these different things, that's a lie. And now I
210
00:13:50.279 --> 00:13:53.120
have to build a system around that lie. And so
211
00:13:53.639 --> 00:13:57.759
all of my system approaches from how do I do education,
212
00:13:57.919 --> 00:14:06.039
how do I do controlling food? How do I do media?
213
00:14:06.440 --> 00:14:09.600
All of the messaging has to be shaped in this
214
00:14:09.759 --> 00:14:14.039
lying way because I really can't tell you, Tony, come here,
215
00:14:14.080 --> 00:14:17.360
I'm gonna screw you over. I'm going to harm you
216
00:14:17.440 --> 00:14:19.679
in every which way I can so that I can
217
00:14:19.759 --> 00:14:23.320
win this race we're in. And you go, yeah, that
218
00:14:23.480 --> 00:14:26.519
sounds great. No, I have to lie to you, to
219
00:14:26.639 --> 00:14:30.360
your children, to your children's children. I have to lie
220
00:14:30.399 --> 00:14:34.080
to my children, my children's children to keep the lie going.
221
00:14:34.440 --> 00:14:38.159
And this becomes a culture, and then we get to
222
00:14:38.360 --> 00:14:40.600
justifying it. Well, it works for us. Look at all
223
00:14:40.639 --> 00:14:43.039
the things that we've gotten from it. So we're in
224
00:14:43.120 --> 00:14:45.840
this competitive nature. That's the nature of the world, This, that,
225
00:14:45.879 --> 00:14:50.120
and the other. Sure it is, and it's not. We
226
00:14:50.159 --> 00:14:53.879
could have built systems around love, around sharing, around caring
227
00:14:53.919 --> 00:14:56.679
for one another, around supporting one another. We could have
228
00:14:56.759 --> 00:14:59.600
still gotten those resources. So I really want us to
229
00:14:59.639 --> 00:15:04.200
go back as less melanated folks, give ourselves a hug
230
00:15:04.240 --> 00:15:06.639
and say we're worthy of this without all of this
231
00:15:06.840 --> 00:15:10.200
manipulation that we created in our systems.
232
00:15:11.000 --> 00:15:15.519
So so first question, does your camera self focus?
233
00:15:16.159 --> 00:15:16.559
Yeah?
234
00:15:17.000 --> 00:15:18.519
Okay, because I'm.
235
00:15:18.120 --> 00:15:19.840
Seeing I'm sorry about that.
236
00:15:19.960 --> 00:15:20.600
It's curious.
237
00:15:20.720 --> 00:15:23.080
I mean, it's not bad, but it's it's someone distracting
238
00:15:23.120 --> 00:15:25.639
a little bit if you're trying to figure out why
239
00:15:25.720 --> 00:15:27.679
you're doing that. But I figured that it was one
240
00:15:27.679 --> 00:15:29.480
of those fancy high tech ones.
241
00:15:30.159 --> 00:15:35.159
Yeah, the camera of the of the computer is very blurry,
242
00:15:35.240 --> 00:15:37.200
and so I got this one, which is great as
243
00:15:37.200 --> 00:15:38.720
long as I don't move, which.
244
00:15:39.840 --> 00:15:42.120
It's on you. You're doing that.
245
00:15:44.080 --> 00:15:51.120
Okay, So uh, that's that's a fascinating take. But question
246
00:15:51.240 --> 00:15:55.600
I'd like to ask questions If that's true, it's all
247
00:15:55.639 --> 00:16:06.399
about a race. So where does economics come into this philosophy?
248
00:16:06.960 --> 00:16:12.159
If you say it's primarily based on you got it,
249
00:16:12.600 --> 00:16:14.600
I want it kind of thing?
250
00:16:15.159 --> 00:16:19.559
Is a RaSE quote unquote.
251
00:16:19.879 --> 00:16:23.279
So economics is a social system too, right, It's part
252
00:16:23.360 --> 00:16:28.240
of our social systems. It's an exchange. How do we
253
00:16:28.279 --> 00:16:32.559
exchange energy? How do we use a medium for exchange,
254
00:16:32.600 --> 00:16:36.759
which the medium for exchange is exchanging energy, We call
255
00:16:36.799 --> 00:16:45.759
it money. We're the only currency, huh currency currency? Okay,
256
00:16:45.840 --> 00:16:49.120
So that means that it should be exchanging, right, because
257
00:16:49.159 --> 00:16:52.639
it should be flowing current, seas should be flowing. So
258
00:16:52.720 --> 00:16:58.200
the moment you howard the currency, you're disrupting the currency,
259
00:16:58.519 --> 00:17:03.039
the current of it. Right, So you're disrupting the change,
260
00:17:03.480 --> 00:17:07.839
I mean, the exchange. Yet we're the only animal that
261
00:17:08.079 --> 00:17:13.599
uses a medium for exchange to live our lives, to
262
00:17:13.920 --> 00:17:17.640
get the food, to get the resources to get.
263
00:17:17.519 --> 00:17:20.359
Whose we humans, humans in general.
264
00:17:20.799 --> 00:17:24.279
Yeah, okay, there's no other animal that are going, yeah,
265
00:17:24.599 --> 00:17:27.640
bring me certain number of leaves and you can have
266
00:17:27.759 --> 00:17:31.720
my tomatoes. Ok that I'm guarding. Right, We're the only
267
00:17:31.759 --> 00:17:36.880
ones that decided to use this medium of exchange to
268
00:17:36.960 --> 00:17:43.079
get what we needed. So in this we could shape
269
00:17:43.119 --> 00:17:49.039
our society to utilize land much differently than we do now.
270
00:17:49.640 --> 00:17:49.799
Right.
271
00:17:50.000 --> 00:17:53.640
We could use these because I live in the Midwest,
272
00:17:53.680 --> 00:17:57.400
so you drive outside of the city streets immediately or
273
00:17:57.440 --> 00:18:02.000
surrounded by corn, and soy use that for broccoli and
274
00:18:02.319 --> 00:18:05.759
apples and all the things that our body needs. We
275
00:18:05.799 --> 00:18:08.720
don't have to just manufacture all this corn and soy
276
00:18:09.119 --> 00:18:12.720
and then turn that into feed for animals and then
277
00:18:12.799 --> 00:18:15.720
eat the animals, and we could actually just live off
278
00:18:15.759 --> 00:18:19.319
of the earth the way it already worked. We have
279
00:18:19.400 --> 00:18:22.160
done so much manipulation to the earth. And that's part
280
00:18:22.200 --> 00:18:25.519
of the other parts of healing White Culture that I'm
281
00:18:26.200 --> 00:18:32.200
about is understanding that Europeans, because of this scarcity mentality,
282
00:18:33.119 --> 00:18:35.880
decided that we needed to make the earth work for
283
00:18:36.079 --> 00:18:41.160
us instead of in other cultures where they're much more
284
00:18:41.200 --> 00:18:43.680
connected to the earth. Because that's what happens when we
285
00:18:43.759 --> 00:18:45.839
don't get all the resources that we need. And I'm
286
00:18:45.880 --> 00:18:48.559
really sorry about my I don't know why it's acting
287
00:18:48.640 --> 00:18:50.039
up so much today.
288
00:18:49.759 --> 00:18:53.720
But I mean it's not bad. I mean, yeah, this
289
00:18:53.920 --> 00:18:54.240
is good.
290
00:18:54.799 --> 00:19:01.920
It's it's like breathing though, so. But in Europeans culture,
291
00:19:02.480 --> 00:19:05.400
we try to manipulate to make the earth work for us,
292
00:19:05.440 --> 00:19:08.839
which means we have a disconnected relationship with the earth
293
00:19:09.319 --> 00:19:17.200
right the the rest of the earth, I mean, the
294
00:19:17.240 --> 00:19:21.200
rest of other cultures. Indigenous and Aboriginal cultures historically have
295
00:19:21.279 --> 00:19:24.119
a much more connected value to the earth. We're just
296
00:19:24.200 --> 00:19:26.240
going to flow with it. We want to know how
297
00:19:26.279 --> 00:19:28.799
the earth works too. On the other hand, we have
298
00:19:28.920 --> 00:19:31.039
wanted to know how the earth works so that we
299
00:19:31.079 --> 00:19:35.160
can manipulate the life cells, whether it's creating atom bombs
300
00:19:35.279 --> 00:19:39.839
or creating GMO cells or all of these different things.
301
00:19:40.400 --> 00:19:44.039
And then we became attached to the idea that having
302
00:19:44.119 --> 00:19:48.200
money meant you can control these resources and how they're
303
00:19:48.200 --> 00:19:52.920
distributed and all of that. When there's enough for everybody
304
00:19:53.000 --> 00:19:58.079
to live a comfortable, enjoyable life, we don't have to
305
00:19:58.119 --> 00:20:01.599
be participating this and the results. I mean, the answer
306
00:20:01.680 --> 00:20:05.519
is simple. Untangling all of this that we've been through
307
00:20:05.559 --> 00:20:08.960
for these hundreds of years is very difficult because we're
308
00:20:08.960 --> 00:20:12.200
coming from places of pain, which leads to fear, and
309
00:20:12.240 --> 00:20:16.680
you can drive somebody with fear tactics all day long.
310
00:20:17.200 --> 00:20:21.039
And so that's where I think we need to really
311
00:20:21.079 --> 00:20:25.839
start to untangle understand how deceived we have been and
312
00:20:25.920 --> 00:20:28.880
we are based on the systems that are created, and
313
00:20:29.000 --> 00:20:32.960
this is part of the economic structure, is to try
314
00:20:32.960 --> 00:20:35.960
to control these resources. And the more that we don't
315
00:20:36.039 --> 00:20:39.599
understand and learn about our truth about ourselves and how
316
00:20:39.680 --> 00:20:42.680
life works, the more controllable we are.
317
00:20:45.160 --> 00:20:49.599
I do hear some truth in that, but his.
318
00:20:51.279 --> 00:21:04.720
His where I think are to ibeologies intersect a parallel
319
00:21:04.839 --> 00:21:11.759
to a degree or diverse in many cases, because correct
320
00:21:11.759 --> 00:21:14.720
me if I'm wrong. You see, everything started in as
321
00:21:14.759 --> 00:21:19.839
a race, where when I did my research, I believe
322
00:21:20.000 --> 00:21:26.319
everything man does is based on economics mm hmmm, based
323
00:21:26.359 --> 00:21:30.599
on the currency that the de free is change of value.
324
00:21:32.240 --> 00:21:37.160
And I believe based on my research. When you look
325
00:21:37.200 --> 00:21:42.440
at Europe, the Middle Ages coming out of the so
326
00:21:42.519 --> 00:21:44.880
called Dark Ages through.
327
00:21:44.680 --> 00:21:48.839
The Black Plague, it was a question of resources.
328
00:21:48.839 --> 00:21:53.400
Even the story of them, Johnny in to the so
329
00:21:53.480 --> 00:21:55.960
called New World, it was due to a lack of
330
00:21:56.039 --> 00:22:04.759
resources in Europe. So they had been traveling the world
331
00:22:05.480 --> 00:22:08.519
more before that, and they knew that people were on
332
00:22:08.599 --> 00:22:12.960
the other side of the waters, eliminated people, and they
333
00:22:13.000 --> 00:22:15.799
did free exchange or bothering or what they want to
334
00:22:15.880 --> 00:22:20.079
call it. So it's not like they didn't know, quote unquote,
335
00:22:20.160 --> 00:22:23.480
were we were there or there were other people on
336
00:22:23.559 --> 00:22:23.920
the other.
337
00:22:23.799 --> 00:22:27.160
Side of the oceans that look different. M so.
338
00:22:28.319 --> 00:22:32.039
But it came a point where again they saw where
339
00:22:32.240 --> 00:22:34.640
they were limited the resources and they had to go
340
00:22:35.119 --> 00:22:41.200
elsewhere to expand the economics come in. As you mentioned that,
341
00:22:42.519 --> 00:22:45.839
I don't see we mean and millenated people of a
342
00:22:45.960 --> 00:22:48.200
culture are very generous, giving.
343
00:22:50.680 --> 00:22:51.839
Wealthy culture.
344
00:22:52.279 --> 00:22:59.599
By all historical accounts, the indigenous people of Africa, America,
345
00:23:01.440 --> 00:23:13.680
Australia were far advanced, wanting water toilests, agriculture, and we're
346
00:23:13.759 --> 00:23:15.079
tripping over gold.
347
00:23:15.400 --> 00:23:15.720
M hm.
348
00:23:15.880 --> 00:23:21.799
So when they came and saw this bounty, they said,
349
00:23:22.200 --> 00:23:27.640
I want that, right, But again it was economics because
350
00:23:27.839 --> 00:23:29.920
the economic aspect comes in.
351
00:23:30.599 --> 00:23:35.640
I need to feed my people, right. So so with
352
00:23:35.880 --> 00:23:40.319
that they said, to people who who are there now
353
00:23:40.640 --> 00:23:43.559
they have to go, how can I make them?
354
00:23:45.440 --> 00:23:49.839
I guess, how can I make mind going after them
355
00:23:49.920 --> 00:23:51.920
to destroy them patiable?
356
00:23:52.240 --> 00:23:55.920
I have to make make it seem or make.
357
00:23:55.720 --> 00:24:02.279
It so there there is that distance is worse than
358
00:24:02.279 --> 00:24:07.160
the plague. So they are to conjure up a notion.
359
00:24:08.400 --> 00:24:13.000
Now these people are less human, but it's driven by economics,
360
00:24:13.119 --> 00:24:14.400
not necessarily a race.
361
00:24:15.720 --> 00:24:18.039
What's your point on my take so far?
362
00:24:18.799 --> 00:24:21.160
I'm in full agreement with you, and that's I think
363
00:24:21.200 --> 00:24:25.000
we're we have mutual meaning with different terminology, Okay, Right,
364
00:24:25.680 --> 00:24:28.599
So that's why I start off with scarcity and then
365
00:24:28.680 --> 00:24:32.079
I tell you we built our economic system based on
366
00:24:32.119 --> 00:24:36.960
a scarcity mentality instead of knowing even though we traveled
367
00:24:37.000 --> 00:24:39.559
the world, we knew we had to go out, but
368
00:24:39.720 --> 00:24:46.519
the culture that these settlers left from had a scarcity
369
00:24:46.759 --> 00:24:49.720
of mentality. We had the black plague because we're not
370
00:24:49.960 --> 00:24:53.400
getting all of our resources when we conquered the world,
371
00:24:53.440 --> 00:24:56.480
and we try and make ourselves look bad and big
372
00:24:56.519 --> 00:24:58.599
and bad and strong and all of that. And we
373
00:24:58.759 --> 00:25:00.599
got the better guns and the bet the weapons, and
374
00:25:00.640 --> 00:25:04.359
we're just stronger, and it's you know, the strongest survived. No,
375
00:25:04.519 --> 00:25:08.920
we brought disease that other places didn't have, and so
376
00:25:09.000 --> 00:25:13.200
we had sickness, a disconnected connection from the earth, and
377
00:25:13.519 --> 00:25:18.200
a and a scarcity mentality. And that's what we built
378
00:25:18.240 --> 00:25:23.559
our economic systems based on. And then we used race, right,
379
00:25:23.720 --> 00:25:28.200
this competition of our economic systems to develop race. So
380
00:25:28.440 --> 00:25:30.279
I'm in agreement with you one hundred percent.
381
00:25:30.680 --> 00:25:33.519
I guess it's your word race because I don't really
382
00:25:33.559 --> 00:25:38.480
see us in running competitions because running people are in
383
00:25:38.559 --> 00:25:43.559
competition with with with with non menning and people. We
384
00:25:43.640 --> 00:25:46.880
never cared about you, right level, So it was it's
385
00:25:46.880 --> 00:25:47.920
not a race to us.
386
00:25:49.119 --> 00:25:49.960
I agree that.
387
00:25:50.960 --> 00:25:52.839
I guess it's that off.
388
00:25:53.880 --> 00:25:58.359
There's an economic professor and scholar, I should say that
389
00:25:58.519 --> 00:26:05.160
was uh Claude Anderson, doctor Claude Anderson. Okay, well this
390
00:26:05.240 --> 00:26:08.160
is where I got my definition. It was a race
391
00:26:08.599 --> 00:26:12.519
of colonizers. It was France against.
392
00:26:13.400 --> 00:26:15.119
It wasn't it was our race.
393
00:26:15.240 --> 00:26:17.519
Okay, okay, we're the ones that created.
394
00:26:17.720 --> 00:26:21.079
Okay, I mean, I mean, I mean gentlemen, when when
395
00:26:21.119 --> 00:26:25.200
somebody said, raised all the petitions, Pence are right and
396
00:26:25.720 --> 00:26:26.559
in the competition.
397
00:26:27.200 --> 00:26:29.480
Yeah, we're not in a competition because we were right,
398
00:26:30.759 --> 00:26:34.079
you know, I mean, you mess with me, right?
399
00:26:34.279 --> 00:26:38.519
This is exactly that's the point that race, no race,
400
00:26:38.640 --> 00:26:39.880
I mean, yeah, exactly.
401
00:26:40.480 --> 00:26:41.839
It just didn't like not.
402
00:26:41.960 --> 00:26:45.279
Having what we had and we couldn't next to come
403
00:26:45.319 --> 00:26:48.160
to an accord where we could share. But again they
404
00:26:48.240 --> 00:26:52.640
saw the value anyway that they could. It's changed for
405
00:26:52.839 --> 00:26:57.119
other girls amongst themselves. So well, I guess the the
406
00:26:57.480 --> 00:27:02.359
Queen of Portugal told the man called christical numbers, he
407
00:27:03.000 --> 00:27:03.559
I want.
408
00:27:03.400 --> 00:27:03.799
More of that.
409
00:27:03.920 --> 00:27:07.960
I mean you brought all. I want more of that act.
410
00:27:08.200 --> 00:27:10.920
What can we do whereas people they don't give it up? Freedom?
411
00:27:11.839 --> 00:27:14.200
I guess we got more to people. Yeah, but it
412
00:27:14.319 --> 00:27:15.440
wasn't a race, it was.
413
00:27:15.720 --> 00:27:20.480
It was it was a conquering people based economics, the
414
00:27:20.680 --> 00:27:24.119
value and the currency that the saw that that new
415
00:27:24.200 --> 00:27:25.880
man could offer them, but.
416
00:27:26.119 --> 00:27:31.599
We use that scarcity technique. Whether it was Germany against
417
00:27:31.799 --> 00:27:35.240
the Jews, I mean Europe, you know, those Europeans against
418
00:27:35.240 --> 00:27:40.880
the Jews. It was to create a scarcity amongst themselves. Right,
419
00:27:40.960 --> 00:27:44.119
Whether when we come into other cultures where melanated folks
420
00:27:44.160 --> 00:27:49.519
are already there, we create an idea of their scarcity.
421
00:27:49.640 --> 00:27:52.880
We're controlling, we're trying to control these resources. So now
422
00:27:52.960 --> 00:27:56.400
we make it look like there's a scarcity amongst those, right,
423
00:27:56.480 --> 00:27:58.720
And that's what's happening in the inner cities here in
424
00:27:58.799 --> 00:28:02.680
the United States. We've left when black folks moved in
425
00:28:03.000 --> 00:28:07.279
and we created a scarcity. Look to this whole thing,
426
00:28:07.359 --> 00:28:11.920
and it's a in a competition amongst black culture that
427
00:28:12.119 --> 00:28:19.519
is unnatural to the indigenous and and Uh and Aboriginal
428
00:28:19.559 --> 00:28:23.839
ways of the culture that already existed here before we
429
00:28:23.960 --> 00:28:24.480
shield up.
430
00:28:24.839 --> 00:28:26.920
I can see. But let me ask this, So what
431
00:28:27.440 --> 00:28:29.039
came first the.
432
00:28:31.359 --> 00:28:39.680
The scarcity wanted to develop scarcity amongst the aboriginal people
433
00:28:39.839 --> 00:28:47.519
or the people of color, or the economic greed that
434
00:28:47.880 --> 00:28:54.160
propelled them to create this this environment of scarcity.
435
00:28:54.039 --> 00:28:58.279
Right, So I would say it's the scarcity of where
436
00:28:58.319 --> 00:29:01.799
we came from, developed the Econo agreed, which developed the
437
00:29:01.960 --> 00:29:07.160
idea that we can weaponize scarcity amongst others. Right, So,
438
00:29:07.960 --> 00:29:10.920
because we were in scarcity, So when somebody comes out
439
00:29:10.960 --> 00:29:13.200
of a poor environment.
440
00:29:12.960 --> 00:29:15.200
Okay, let's let's up there now.
441
00:29:15.359 --> 00:29:19.880
I understand it might have started that way in the beginning, okay,
442
00:29:20.640 --> 00:29:23.960
but when they conquered and when you come up into
443
00:29:24.079 --> 00:29:26.200
the sixties or the thirties.
444
00:29:27.400 --> 00:29:28.119
In this country.
445
00:29:28.279 --> 00:29:31.480
I can't he speak for Europe or Australia or Africa,
446
00:29:32.559 --> 00:29:37.839
but in this country, the scarcity was gone, right okay.
447
00:29:38.599 --> 00:29:42.000
And from mind, I wasn't shared amongst the people here.
448
00:29:41.920 --> 00:29:43.200
Though, okay.
449
00:29:44.319 --> 00:29:47.480
Which came first the chicken on the egg? So the
450
00:29:47.519 --> 00:29:52.960
scarcity was gone, So now we have a community. By
451
00:29:53.039 --> 00:29:59.880
all accounts, the first slave owner was a millenated person
452
00:30:00.680 --> 00:30:05.279
mm hm, who created who saw a need to have
453
00:30:05.559 --> 00:30:16.200
slaves instead of um servants or what's the word not
454
00:30:16.480 --> 00:30:18.400
slave but uh in the servants?
455
00:30:18.960 --> 00:30:19.079
Right?
456
00:30:19.359 --> 00:30:21.839
This is service came came before stags, even though there's
457
00:30:21.839 --> 00:30:26.000
always been perers of slavery, conquering people conquering other people
458
00:30:26.640 --> 00:30:28.000
having staves for a period.
459
00:30:27.759 --> 00:30:31.759
Of time that goes back to bibical times, correct, So.
460
00:30:33.160 --> 00:30:36.400
There is no necessary scheduty. There other than one nation
461
00:30:36.559 --> 00:30:39.319
conquering another nation. And I'm gonna take your goods, but
462
00:30:39.400 --> 00:30:40.960
I want you to work your land to help me
463
00:30:41.039 --> 00:30:43.359
take your goods from your man and put bring to
464
00:30:43.440 --> 00:30:50.400
my land having controlled it. So in today's time thirty forties,
465
00:30:50.480 --> 00:30:54.200
fifty sixty, seventies, eighties, nineties, even now, there's no longer
466
00:30:54.279 --> 00:30:58.559
scarcety in the in the European mind because they dominate,
467
00:30:58.680 --> 00:31:03.240
as you say, the world, even though a data minority, right, So.
468
00:31:04.839 --> 00:31:07.640
Well, I would get I would push back on that.
469
00:31:08.039 --> 00:31:10.119
I would still say that we hold on to that,
470
00:31:10.240 --> 00:31:14.519
even though we now control these resources, there's no scarcity
471
00:31:14.680 --> 00:31:18.519
amongst us, we still hold on to that. We can't
472
00:31:18.599 --> 00:31:21.640
let go of our resources. We're holding onto our ways,
473
00:31:21.720 --> 00:31:26.359
we're protecting our systems, we're justifying ourselves, we're denying everything
474
00:31:26.480 --> 00:31:29.799
that you're saying, is we're doing is wrong because there
475
00:31:29.920 --> 00:31:32.680
is a scarcity of resources on the planet and if
476
00:31:32.759 --> 00:31:35.480
we don't end up in control of it, you will.
477
00:31:36.000 --> 00:31:38.839
But is that not economically driven?
478
00:31:39.400 --> 00:31:39.559
Right?
479
00:31:40.079 --> 00:31:40.319
Okay?
480
00:31:40.400 --> 00:31:44.200
And the economic approach is from a scarcity mentality, where
481
00:31:44.319 --> 00:31:48.119
if the economic approach was that there was an abundance
482
00:31:48.359 --> 00:31:52.119
of these resources, our approach is that there's more than
483
00:31:52.319 --> 00:31:55.079
enough for all of us. So let's see how we
484
00:31:55.160 --> 00:31:57.799
can make sure that we're all taken care of. And
485
00:31:57.960 --> 00:32:01.880
now let's build the systems around sharing and supporting one another,
486
00:32:01.960 --> 00:32:04.480
and let's go be the best version of ourselves we
487
00:32:04.559 --> 00:32:09.839
can be. But in a in a greedy, protective, scarcity mentality,
488
00:32:10.319 --> 00:32:13.000
I now have to try and keep this from myself.
489
00:32:13.079 --> 00:32:17.240
We are constantly thinking anybody else out there is trying it.
490
00:32:17.279 --> 00:32:19.559
Why did that person do something nice to me? Hmm
491
00:32:20.480 --> 00:32:24.799
they they must be off wanting something for me, right,
492
00:32:24.960 --> 00:32:29.680
Like we're we're so protective of what we have as
493
00:32:29.759 --> 00:32:34.920
individualistic because zero sum game leads to all of those things,
494
00:32:35.279 --> 00:32:38.359
versus seeing a society we have more than enough, why
495
00:32:38.440 --> 00:32:39.319
can't we just share?
496
00:32:39.799 --> 00:32:48.759
So from that point of view, scarcity drove the Caucasian
497
00:32:49.799 --> 00:32:55.000
to decimate the Black family mm hm. In nineteen sixties
498
00:32:55.680 --> 00:32:58.079
did not economics.
499
00:32:57.839 --> 00:33:01.519
Right or just or just power. It was a scarcity
500
00:33:01.640 --> 00:33:05.400
economic system, so let's let's call it economics. I'm saying
501
00:33:05.440 --> 00:33:09.839
there's two types of economic systems approaches. One is from
502
00:33:09.880 --> 00:33:14.480
a building an economic structure from a or systems from
503
00:33:14.519 --> 00:33:18.400
a scarcity approach, and one from building it from an
504
00:33:18.640 --> 00:33:23.160
abundance approach, and we use a scarcity approach to our
505
00:33:23.279 --> 00:33:24.279
economic system.
506
00:33:24.920 --> 00:33:28.440
Okay, that's that's that's interesting. I mean I don't, I don't.
507
00:33:28.839 --> 00:33:35.319
I don't see that because when you look at the whole.
508
00:33:37.000 --> 00:33:44.200
Quote unquote slavery American slavery experience, there was nothing but
509
00:33:44.599 --> 00:33:50.440
boot power based on economics because they had to have
510
00:33:50.599 --> 00:33:52.920
somebody to till the fields.
511
00:33:53.519 --> 00:33:56.039
That can do with scarcity. In my mind, they had
512
00:33:56.079 --> 00:33:58.000
to do with strictly, this.
513
00:33:58.240 --> 00:34:03.680
Is my cash crop, your opinions, lack of better words,
514
00:34:03.759 --> 00:34:08.199
too weak to do this hard manual labor because it
515
00:34:08.400 --> 00:34:11.280
costs more to have them.
516
00:34:13.679 --> 00:34:15.199
Anyway.
517
00:34:16.320 --> 00:34:20.239
So we got the the millenaiy people who are strong
518
00:34:22.360 --> 00:34:23.440
that they endure.
519
00:34:24.280 --> 00:34:26.760
So that's the ones that we are going to use
520
00:34:27.639 --> 00:34:33.599
to grow the fields for my economic benefit. Not anything
521
00:34:33.639 --> 00:34:37.559
to do with my schedulte that my grandfolks way back
522
00:34:37.639 --> 00:34:42.199
when had. Because I'm here, I'm good, I see, because
523
00:34:42.480 --> 00:34:46.159
we couldn't grow tobacco necessary in Europe. So now we
524
00:34:46.239 --> 00:34:48.880
could grow all these these cats crops, but I need
525
00:34:48.960 --> 00:34:52.400
somebody to grow them. So economically, I need to have
526
00:34:52.639 --> 00:34:55.400
these individuals man in my machine.
527
00:34:58.280 --> 00:35:03.039
So I'm going to challenge you on this. Right when
528
00:35:03.079 --> 00:35:07.599
you build a house. You need an architect, You need
529
00:35:08.440 --> 00:35:12.599
a foundation layer, right, you need your civil engineers, you
530
00:35:12.760 --> 00:35:20.199
need the infrastructure of the house. You need then the
531
00:35:20.320 --> 00:35:22.599
walls and all of the plumbing and all of those
532
00:35:22.719 --> 00:35:28.039
things to work. You don't build with the same materials, right,
533
00:35:28.159 --> 00:35:32.239
So once you've laid the foundation, now your infrastructure is
534
00:35:32.280 --> 00:35:35.119
made out of steel. The foundation was made out of concrete,
535
00:35:35.679 --> 00:35:38.599
and your walls are going to be made out of
536
00:35:38.639 --> 00:35:42.000
wood and then drywall, and then you're going to design it.
537
00:35:42.440 --> 00:35:47.519
So at different stages of this scarcity economic systems, we
538
00:35:47.639 --> 00:35:50.360
don't have to perform the same That's why I laugh
539
00:35:50.480 --> 00:35:54.079
when we say, oh, it's better now than it was
540
00:35:54.360 --> 00:35:57.840
for black folks back then. If we haven't healed it,
541
00:35:58.440 --> 00:36:01.920
then yes, it might not be. It's like inflation. It
542
00:36:02.079 --> 00:36:05.840
might not be growing at the same rate of harm.
543
00:36:06.880 --> 00:36:10.000
It's still growing harm that we have not healed and
544
00:36:10.119 --> 00:36:15.599
gone back and said, from this competitive economic structure that
545
00:36:15.719 --> 00:36:19.719
we have. When we do harm in this society, somebody
546
00:36:19.800 --> 00:36:24.199
gets made whole. We made the Jews whole for those
547
00:36:24.320 --> 00:36:28.000
that suffered through the Holocaust. We even went into another
548
00:36:28.119 --> 00:36:30.599
area of the world and gave them land, or gave
549
00:36:30.719 --> 00:36:34.039
us land. If I need to be connected to that.
550
00:36:35.280 --> 00:36:37.679
We've done all of these things to heal because we
551
00:36:37.840 --> 00:36:43.280
know we're in competition, and we used folks, manipulated, harmed,
552
00:36:43.559 --> 00:36:46.239
did all kinds of things to use these bodies in
553
00:36:46.360 --> 00:36:50.000
an unhumane way when we could have just shared all
554
00:36:50.039 --> 00:36:53.079
these resources to try and control these things, but we
555
00:36:53.320 --> 00:36:58.039
kept this scarcity mentality. So we're still building the building
556
00:36:58.119 --> 00:37:02.480
of scarcity economics. We're just doing it differently now at
557
00:37:02.679 --> 00:37:06.480
each stage. Once we've gotten more, if I've already got
558
00:37:06.559 --> 00:37:10.039
the resources, my job is no longer to get them
559
00:37:10.079 --> 00:37:13.960
from you. It's to maintain them for myself. So now
560
00:37:14.000 --> 00:37:19.239
I'm operating differently with that approach. Right, I'm still using
561
00:37:19.280 --> 00:37:22.679
the scarcity mentality. There is only a limited amount of
562
00:37:22.760 --> 00:37:27.559
resources on the planet. That is why X supply must
563
00:37:27.639 --> 00:37:30.800
meet demand in how we price our things, because we
564
00:37:30.960 --> 00:37:34.960
have a scarcity mentality. There is a limited amount of resources,
565
00:37:35.199 --> 00:37:39.000
yet we are using our land for the worst possible ways,
566
00:37:39.119 --> 00:37:41.320
and we all have enough to eat. If we wanted
567
00:37:41.360 --> 00:37:43.800
to share those that well, then that.
568
00:37:44.880 --> 00:37:51.719
Will put all millenated, all nonmllenated people, people who, for
569
00:37:51.880 --> 00:37:57.320
lack of a better description, are the eco fanatics, and
570
00:37:57.440 --> 00:38:01.320
true the eco fanatics that I've seen all been non.
571
00:38:01.239 --> 00:38:03.599
Menenated people, that they're very millennated people.
572
00:38:04.239 --> 00:38:08.199
One of my hugging trees and trying to get you know,
573
00:38:08.440 --> 00:38:11.639
you let to let the vehicles or want to live
574
00:38:11.800 --> 00:38:14.039
off of windmals and sodo panels.
575
00:38:15.039 --> 00:38:16.199
We ain't doing that, you know.
576
00:38:17.320 --> 00:38:21.960
So, But indeed I would I would disagree with you
577
00:38:22.639 --> 00:38:26.000
because I've experienced a culture that is doing that, led
578
00:38:26.079 --> 00:38:29.800
by African Americans that left here and went back to Israel,
579
00:38:30.480 --> 00:38:31.440
and they're not.
580
00:38:32.000 --> 00:38:34.079
Well, okay, well that that's what I'm talking about. I'm
581
00:38:34.199 --> 00:38:36.119
I'm going to speak for here in this country.
582
00:38:36.400 --> 00:38:36.519
Right.
583
00:38:37.119 --> 00:38:42.199
Maybe, of course, the thought could be gathered by any
584
00:38:42.280 --> 00:38:46.920
individual if they're so inclined to believe whatever I believe.
585
00:38:47.760 --> 00:38:52.280
So that's where you're making the assumption to also excuse
586
00:38:52.360 --> 00:38:58.320
me for laughing that these tree hugging, electric car driving
587
00:38:58.599 --> 00:39:01.840
folks are all so right in the way that they're
588
00:39:01.920 --> 00:39:04.159
trying to heal the Oh no, no, no, no, no
589
00:39:04.320 --> 00:39:11.199
no no. I think the coas cocopuffs. Okay, So here's
590
00:39:11.559 --> 00:39:14.159
here's my struggle, and here's why I wrote my book.
591
00:39:15.559 --> 00:39:18.199
Black Folks got tired of saying, Okay, I'm trying to
592
00:39:18.320 --> 00:39:20.920
teach you about race and you don't get it right
593
00:39:21.000 --> 00:39:24.599
and racism, so go fix yourself. So then they became
594
00:39:24.719 --> 00:39:30.000
this movement of white anti racism groups, and I joined them.
595
00:39:30.199 --> 00:39:33.320
I was actually given an order by my son's mother,
596
00:39:33.400 --> 00:39:36.440
who's a black woman, and he you know, I met
597
00:39:36.519 --> 00:39:38.920
him at when he was six years old. I met
598
00:39:38.960 --> 00:39:44.960
the family and I became No, this is uh my
599
00:39:45.159 --> 00:39:48.880
son I met in he was born in four I
600
00:39:49.000 --> 00:39:51.880
met him in two thousand and nine, twenty ten or
601
00:39:51.920 --> 00:39:52.639
twenty ten.
602
00:39:52.840 --> 00:39:56.320
At that point, you joined anti race group.
603
00:39:56.800 --> 00:39:59.039
No, I had already been a part of Yeah so
604
00:39:59.199 --> 00:40:02.480
around so wait so yes exactly. So she said, it's
605
00:40:02.559 --> 00:40:04.880
great that you love us the way you do. It's
606
00:40:04.920 --> 00:40:07.000
great that you know what you know. But if you
607
00:40:07.119 --> 00:40:09.800
really want to fix us, I mean, help us, go
608
00:40:09.960 --> 00:40:10.719
fix your people.
609
00:40:11.199 --> 00:40:11.360
Right.
610
00:40:12.000 --> 00:40:14.760
So I heard about this group called White People for
611
00:40:15.440 --> 00:40:20.079
Black Lives. It was out in Los Angeles, and generally
612
00:40:20.599 --> 00:40:26.199
I love them for what they're trying to accomplish. Most
613
00:40:26.280 --> 00:40:28.559
of them though, and this is why I had to
614
00:40:28.599 --> 00:40:32.679
write the book, was it's the blind leading the blind.
615
00:40:33.360 --> 00:40:36.639
You don't know how much we've been deceived in our
616
00:40:36.760 --> 00:40:40.519
own understanding of our own history and our own how
617
00:40:40.599 --> 00:40:43.800
we developed. Because when we learn history, we don't learn
618
00:40:44.440 --> 00:40:47.280
the why, we learn the what. So when we say
619
00:40:47.320 --> 00:40:49.760
we need to learn history so we don't repeat ourselves,
620
00:40:49.800 --> 00:40:52.719
then we need to learn why we made those decisions
621
00:40:52.960 --> 00:40:56.599
so we can make a different approach to that. But
622
00:40:56.719 --> 00:40:59.840
if we just learn history as we won this war,
623
00:41:00.039 --> 00:41:02.039
we won that war, we did this, we don't learn
624
00:41:02.119 --> 00:41:05.119
the truth about ourselves. And so now you have the
625
00:41:05.199 --> 00:41:11.239
blind leading the blind. And yes, like Tom Steyer, I
626
00:41:11.320 --> 00:41:13.559
don't know if you know who that is, but he's
627
00:41:14.000 --> 00:41:16.880
he's a billionaire hedge fund manager and he ran for
628
00:41:17.039 --> 00:41:20.800
president when against Biden in the first time, and when
629
00:41:20.880 --> 00:41:25.679
Biden won, when all those Democrats in Washington. No, he's
630
00:41:25.760 --> 00:41:28.920
from he's from Oakland or you know, not Oakland, but
631
00:41:29.119 --> 00:41:32.840
northern California. And he's a billionaire and he was all
632
00:41:32.840 --> 00:41:35.320
about climate change and he also talked about need to
633
00:41:35.440 --> 00:41:42.639
liberate huh liberal. Yeah, right, So Biden in the group
634
00:41:43.599 --> 00:41:48.480
passed a major bill about you know, dedicated towards helping
635
00:41:48.559 --> 00:41:52.559
with climate change. And the first thing he says is,
636
00:41:53.559 --> 00:41:57.920
as this liberal, we now we can compete for you know,
637
00:41:58.079 --> 00:42:00.760
making the world great again. Now we can not great
638
00:42:00.800 --> 00:42:03.119
again in that sense, but now we can compete towards
639
00:42:03.639 --> 00:42:07.480
healing the climate. Now we can be the leaders in this.
640
00:42:08.239 --> 00:42:14.400
Those are two white cultural economics approaches. So you're gonna
641
00:42:14.480 --> 00:42:19.519
use the same mind to go and make this change
642
00:42:19.679 --> 00:42:22.280
that you want. That's when I'm I'm agreeing with you.
643
00:42:23.159 --> 00:42:25.880
Like I'm a tree hugger. I'm a tree hugger from
644
00:42:25.920 --> 00:42:29.960
the sense of if you walk out into the grass
645
00:42:30.079 --> 00:42:33.840
with your bare feet like most like many black grandmothers
646
00:42:33.960 --> 00:42:37.119
used to tell that kids back in the day, and
647
00:42:37.280 --> 00:42:40.760
you touch the trees, there is an exchange of positive
648
00:42:41.000 --> 00:42:45.719
energy that exists because we live off of each other. Right,
649
00:42:45.840 --> 00:42:49.480
we breathe air that they out that they that trees
650
00:42:49.639 --> 00:42:53.000
breathe in. There is a life cycle that goes with that.
651
00:42:53.199 --> 00:42:56.000
So from a tree hugging standpoint, there's a truth to that.
652
00:42:56.280 --> 00:43:00.840
So with the tonics and moving from this gas, we
653
00:43:00.920 --> 00:43:02.960
shouldn't be leading that we don't know what the heck
654
00:43:03.039 --> 00:43:05.679
we're talking about. There's much better sources of energy.
655
00:43:05.719 --> 00:43:13.840
So so going on the green agenda and looking at
656
00:43:13.880 --> 00:43:18.360
how Europe is rusn't headlong into this MH.
657
00:43:19.760 --> 00:43:25.320
But the less so called lesser developed countries, if you
658
00:43:25.360 --> 00:43:28.920
wan't call it China lesser developed country in some cases
659
00:43:28.960 --> 00:43:38.119
they are in India, Russia, people in the sunthern hemisphere.
660
00:43:39.119 --> 00:43:43.679
H they say, y'all, y'all, go ahead, we ain't doing
661
00:43:43.719 --> 00:43:44.119
any of that.
662
00:43:44.960 --> 00:43:46.239
We're gonna keep drilling for all.
663
00:43:47.800 --> 00:43:50.519
We're gonna keep building nuclear plants because we're trying to
664
00:43:50.559 --> 00:43:52.840
catch it with y'all because we want the lifestyle and
665
00:43:53.360 --> 00:43:55.320
possibility that y'all got through.
666
00:43:57.880 --> 00:44:03.760
That's what how or so called dirty energy. So even
667
00:44:03.920 --> 00:44:10.599
with that, is that not economically driven?
668
00:44:10.840 --> 00:44:14.159
Because if there wasn't any if there wasn't any money
669
00:44:14.400 --> 00:44:19.079
in that industry, if there wasn't any if if alcohol
670
00:44:19.239 --> 00:44:23.719
or couldn't become a motile billing there pushing green energy,
671
00:44:24.159 --> 00:44:26.559
would he be pushing green energy?
672
00:44:27.320 --> 00:44:27.480
Right?
673
00:44:27.880 --> 00:44:32.960
So of course there's an economic and that's if we
674
00:44:33.079 --> 00:44:36.079
don't change our economic approach, then we're going to keep
675
00:44:36.119 --> 00:44:38.360
doing the same things over and over again and expect
676
00:44:38.440 --> 00:44:39.159
different results.
677
00:44:39.239 --> 00:44:42.840
So again my question is what came first the economic
678
00:44:43.480 --> 00:44:47.719
drive on what you call the race.
679
00:44:48.159 --> 00:44:51.679
To the economic drive led to the race.
680
00:44:52.360 --> 00:44:55.719
That's that's my main point in every short I think.
681
00:44:55.679 --> 00:44:59.559
Everything that I'm not using the same terminology as you,
682
00:44:59.679 --> 00:45:02.320
but I do. That's why the first thing I said
683
00:45:02.360 --> 00:45:06.199
before I get into the race is scarcity led us
684
00:45:06.320 --> 00:45:10.079
to this economics of competition? And in ECON, first thing
685
00:45:10.239 --> 00:45:13.199
we learn is there is a scarcity of resources. This
686
00:45:13.360 --> 00:45:16.760
is the first line of and I took too many
687
00:45:16.840 --> 00:45:23.159
ECON classes, right, But the first line, first day is
688
00:45:23.280 --> 00:45:26.840
there is a scarcity of resources on the planet, and
689
00:45:27.039 --> 00:45:32.440
therefore we must we are in competition to control those resources. Okay,
690
00:45:34.519 --> 00:45:35.800
the earth already works.
691
00:45:36.480 --> 00:45:41.360
Let's look at this way. I'm curious. I'm fascinated by
692
00:45:41.400 --> 00:45:48.480
your take on this. So when the Burgh's family woke
693
00:45:48.599 --> 00:45:53.119
up and they recognize.
694
00:45:54.960 --> 00:45:59.960
Co press, horror turns into diamonds. Mm hmm.
695
00:46:00.119 --> 00:46:04.440
But there's no market for diamonds and diamants now are plentiful.
696
00:46:06.920 --> 00:46:13.199
Did they seek to offer this plentiful commodity to the
697
00:46:13.320 --> 00:46:17.159
people as is or did they try to restrict that
698
00:46:17.360 --> 00:46:22.159
commodity to increase the value, to increase the scarcity. But
699
00:46:22.360 --> 00:46:27.079
first it was driven by economics, not scarcity, right.
700
00:46:27.199 --> 00:46:32.039
But so things are sarc cyclical though, because we had
701
00:46:32.159 --> 00:46:36.719
this approach of scared. We had we come from an
702
00:46:36.800 --> 00:46:41.119
area where we diamonds weren't readily available to us. We
703
00:46:41.280 --> 00:46:46.239
had to go into these other places. So it's it's
704
00:46:46.320 --> 00:46:50.000
the same thing as when you have people that have
705
00:46:50.119 --> 00:46:54.360
been denied all of these resources. And then you see
706
00:46:54.599 --> 00:46:57.239
fancy cars and you see this going and now I
707
00:46:57.360 --> 00:47:00.719
want that, right, so now I want those? Have you
708
00:47:00.800 --> 00:47:05.840
ever and I used this uh prestige right, we create
709
00:47:05.920 --> 00:47:08.719
this idea of prestige, right.
710
00:47:08.480 --> 00:47:13.440
Because because diamonds as as as as when it was,
711
00:47:13.639 --> 00:47:14.639
it wasn't anything.
712
00:47:15.719 --> 00:47:19.119
But but but they had to make it worth prestige
713
00:47:20.400 --> 00:47:21.320
see value.
714
00:47:21.480 --> 00:47:25.480
But but but but now they created this market that
715
00:47:26.199 --> 00:47:32.079
they had to reduce the amount that's available to the public.
716
00:47:32.880 --> 00:47:36.519
Developed scarcity, but first they had to see economic value
717
00:47:36.840 --> 00:47:42.639
in it first before creating scarcity. Now it's more valuable
718
00:47:42.719 --> 00:47:46.599
because it's more scarce. So when you look at opportunities
719
00:47:47.960 --> 00:47:52.199
to me, the the green energy movement creates more scarcity
720
00:47:53.000 --> 00:47:55.920
that therefore more valuable. It don't it don't make the
721
00:47:56.559 --> 00:48:00.639
earth any better because when you look at how how
722
00:48:01.920 --> 00:48:06.960
batteries for you that the vehicles are created, you got
723
00:48:07.079 --> 00:48:08.039
to destroy a lot of.
724
00:48:08.079 --> 00:48:13.519
The earth exactly exactly, So we have the wrong folks
725
00:48:13.639 --> 00:48:20.159
leading the way. So that's first and foremost our approach
726
00:48:20.519 --> 00:48:23.039
and our need for oil and all of these other
727
00:48:23.159 --> 00:48:26.199
things is also from the wrong folks leading the way.
728
00:48:26.760 --> 00:48:30.519
So here's here's my take on a lot of our
729
00:48:30.800 --> 00:48:36.559
political structure now and struggles now we fought. It's we
730
00:48:37.679 --> 00:48:40.840
only know the what, we don't understand the why, and
731
00:48:40.920 --> 00:48:43.679
we don't want to as less melanated folks, it's very
732
00:48:44.239 --> 00:48:47.960
difficult to want to know why we behave and culturally
733
00:48:48.519 --> 00:48:54.039
as a whole this way because otherwise we just spend
734
00:48:54.119 --> 00:48:58.039
our time justifying it, denying it, and using our position
735
00:48:58.760 --> 00:49:02.159
in which we're in right now now to position ourselves.
736
00:49:02.239 --> 00:49:04.519
And that's how we spend our day, that's how we
737
00:49:04.719 --> 00:49:08.480
lead our thoughts. We're not into a world of sharing.
738
00:49:08.639 --> 00:49:12.679
So the idea that I would say, the same techniques
739
00:49:12.719 --> 00:49:16.039
here you were talking about with diamonds, we're using for
740
00:49:16.920 --> 00:49:20.760
nuclear power and to and for ga I mean, you know,
741
00:49:20.880 --> 00:49:23.719
oil and all of those things. We created a world
742
00:49:23.760 --> 00:49:26.960
where that was needed, the greatest.
743
00:49:28.239 --> 00:49:31.079
Uh source of But with that, if there was not
744
00:49:31.360 --> 00:49:33.440
an economic return, we.
745
00:49:34.320 --> 00:49:38.800
We we decided what was The Europeans wouldn't be added
746
00:49:39.280 --> 00:49:41.719
again to me everything to them by economics.
747
00:49:41.800 --> 00:49:46.480
But listen, we decided what was economically valuable by making
748
00:49:46.639 --> 00:49:50.840
diamonds valuable, by making oil valuable, because we could make
749
00:49:50.920 --> 00:49:54.039
all of these machines run by oil run by steam,
750
00:49:54.519 --> 00:49:57.159
run by water, run by all of these other things.
751
00:49:57.239 --> 00:50:00.440
We could use the systems that were already in place
752
00:50:00.920 --> 00:50:05.480
in higher advanced technologies that were in place when we
753
00:50:05.719 --> 00:50:08.800
came to these lands, or was there any money in it?
754
00:50:10.000 --> 00:50:13.440
Because we didn't write, So we had to create an
755
00:50:13.480 --> 00:50:17.800
economic structure that said this money is more valuable and
756
00:50:18.639 --> 00:50:21.920
this is how we want it used. And partially I
757
00:50:22.119 --> 00:50:25.239
cannot let you know how great you are, Tony if
758
00:50:25.320 --> 00:50:28.400
I want to use you to control so that I
759
00:50:28.559 --> 00:50:31.760
stay and maintain higher rank in this competition.
760
00:50:31.920 --> 00:50:33.440
That's based on an economic drive.
761
00:50:34.039 --> 00:50:36.840
To me more sure, all of what we're talking about.
762
00:50:36.639 --> 00:50:38.920
Is not anything to do with scarcity. Had to do
763
00:50:39.039 --> 00:50:41.360
agreed and economics and.
764
00:50:41.480 --> 00:50:45.119
It, but it comes from a scarcity approach, is all
765
00:50:45.159 --> 00:50:48.320
I'm saying. I'm just I'm just taking one step back
766
00:50:48.360 --> 00:50:50.119
from what you're saying, and I'm agreeing with you one
767
00:50:50.199 --> 00:50:50.760
hundred percent.
768
00:50:51.320 --> 00:50:54.400
That's actually I'm fascinated by because I never heard that before,
769
00:50:55.000 --> 00:50:56.000
so it was interesting.
770
00:50:56.320 --> 00:51:08.800
So one more questions, Yes, sir, you ready for my
771
00:51:09.039 --> 00:51:09.719
spiel on it?
772
00:51:10.039 --> 00:51:13.840
I don't know, but I'm curious to heal hear it.
773
00:51:14.440 --> 00:51:16.079
I'm'm ready for I'm curious to hear it.
774
00:51:16.880 --> 00:51:22.360
Okay, So this is the beginning of where we start
775
00:51:22.440 --> 00:51:25.599
to learn about our own ability for humanity.
776
00:51:26.559 --> 00:51:31.840
Again, this makes clear you're Jewish, uh huh and Jews
777
00:51:32.159 --> 00:51:36.280
Jews as a nation, we see reparations.
778
00:51:36.360 --> 00:51:40.079
Yeah, those who you know, and that we we love
779
00:51:40.199 --> 00:51:43.880
to redefine, to really clearly define how we heal things.
780
00:51:44.440 --> 00:51:49.679
Those whose family were harmed in the Holocaust.
781
00:51:49.800 --> 00:51:54.039
Not everybody, but you can say my family was dated.
782
00:51:55.440 --> 00:51:58.840
Right. Part of the reparations that we don't really like
783
00:51:58.960 --> 00:52:05.719
to discuss is that Jews and so the Jewish, European
784
00:52:05.920 --> 00:52:09.599
or Christian or whatever wars is white on white crime. Like,
785
00:52:09.719 --> 00:52:11.519
let's put it what it would, let's make it what
786
00:52:11.639 --> 00:52:11.880
it is.
787
00:52:13.159 --> 00:52:16.599
So what about the Jews that come from Ethiopia count
788
00:52:17.199 --> 00:52:19.159
or did they count in any of this?
789
00:52:19.559 --> 00:52:24.119
Yeah? So, but where did we take these European Jews
790
00:52:24.239 --> 00:52:26.559
and say, you know, you need to go down here
791
00:52:27.199 --> 00:52:32.400
and be a part of this area where your less
792
00:52:32.480 --> 00:52:37.880
melanated skin really doesn't survive very well in Northeast Africa,
793
00:52:38.000 --> 00:52:39.840
but we call it the Middle East, so we can't
794
00:52:40.000 --> 00:52:46.800
identify it as African. Okay, let's go down there and
795
00:52:46.920 --> 00:52:52.320
work together to maintain our position in this economic area
796
00:52:52.519 --> 00:52:55.800
in this area so we can have some economic control
797
00:52:56.039 --> 00:53:01.119
over this region as well. The idea that so Jews
798
00:53:01.920 --> 00:53:07.320
are European because there is no sound jah in Hebrew.
799
00:53:09.639 --> 00:53:13.639
So I like you just JD, I like you now,
800
00:53:13.639 --> 00:53:15.039
I'm liking you. Now, I'm liking you.
801
00:53:15.679 --> 00:53:19.199
There is no sound of just. So that's obvious. We've
802
00:53:19.360 --> 00:53:27.599
created the ja, the Greco Roman culture, right. That part
803
00:53:28.119 --> 00:53:31.199
just is mind boggling to me that we can't even
804
00:53:31.320 --> 00:53:32.119
start from there.
805
00:53:32.719 --> 00:53:35.639
That's a whole hour. Yeah, okay for sure.
806
00:53:36.039 --> 00:53:41.800
Okay, So the Hebrew speaking folks that were in that
807
00:53:41.960 --> 00:53:46.039
Northeast African region from Ethiopian up to what we call
808
00:53:46.199 --> 00:53:49.239
Israel now, because Israel was a concept until we made
809
00:53:49.280 --> 00:53:52.760
it a state. It was it was the following of
810
00:53:52.840 --> 00:53:57.199
a of a biblical you know person that we gave
811
00:53:57.360 --> 00:54:02.840
the name of Israel because Israel Israel has he has
812
00:54:02.920 --> 00:54:08.400
a meaning to it is states, right, and so all
813
00:54:08.480 --> 00:54:11.559
of these things that have come this is a European
814
00:54:11.760 --> 00:54:16.840
These are European constructs and and other social systems that
815
00:54:17.000 --> 00:54:18.599
go into economics.
816
00:54:18.639 --> 00:54:22.440
Says are you referring to genuinely come out in regards
817
00:54:22.519 --> 00:54:25.480
to the so called black race.
818
00:54:26.119 --> 00:54:33.000
So, first and foremost, the the the harm the target
819
00:54:33.320 --> 00:54:35.840
I call it like the target of harm. The bullseye
820
00:54:35.960 --> 00:54:39.880
has been anti blackness. Right, so I'm saying we have
821
00:54:40.039 --> 00:54:42.519
never addressed that, and that is what we need to heal.
822
00:54:43.239 --> 00:54:47.760
And and even though we can say, oh, it's different
823
00:54:47.800 --> 00:54:49.760
now than it was back then, and it's too late,
824
00:54:49.840 --> 00:54:52.800
and we try and get repairing the harm. So right,
825
00:54:52.960 --> 00:54:55.719
even though we did the harm so wrong, it didn't
826
00:54:55.800 --> 00:54:59.599
matter white folks mostly but even in.
827
00:55:02.280 --> 00:55:04.519
Mostly so said it wasn't one hundred percent white people
828
00:55:04.719 --> 00:55:05.519
who own slaves?
829
00:55:05.599 --> 00:55:06.719
Is that what you're saying?
830
00:55:08.159 --> 00:55:14.119
No? Yeah, well, and who owned them? Yes, I'm not
831
00:55:15.000 --> 00:55:20.079
the dividing it absolutely because yes, we've if people participate
832
00:55:20.159 --> 00:55:23.719
in the culture and assimilate to the culture. It was
833
00:55:23.840 --> 00:55:28.800
a cultural thing still, but yes it was but anti blackness.
834
00:55:28.840 --> 00:55:31.079
And of course, if you're willing to harm your own
835
00:55:31.559 --> 00:55:34.480
people that look like you, melanated skin level as you,
836
00:55:34.599 --> 00:55:37.840
then you're welcome to come on in, you know, come
837
00:55:37.880 --> 00:55:39.360
on in, you can sit at the table.
838
00:55:39.880 --> 00:55:42.440
But but then, but did they do that because of
839
00:55:42.480 --> 00:55:44.159
sketchy or did they do that because it was it
840
00:55:44.239 --> 00:55:47.119
was an economic driven economy.
841
00:55:47.119 --> 00:55:52.039
An economic driven economy based on a scarcity approach. I'm
842
00:55:52.079 --> 00:55:53.760
not gonna I'm not gonna.
843
00:55:54.320 --> 00:55:59.360
Okay, okay, I appreciate that about your appreciate that, okay.
844
00:56:02.639 --> 00:56:06.960
And so let's say you're you know, you witness me.
845
00:56:08.039 --> 00:56:11.559
I'm walking across the street. I'm in my in my
846
00:56:11.880 --> 00:56:15.320
you know, crosswalk, and I got the walk signal. I'm
847
00:56:15.400 --> 00:56:19.280
doing right. But here comes Joe Blow and he's got
848
00:56:19.320 --> 00:56:23.159
his big old pickup truck and he runs me over purposely,
849
00:56:23.599 --> 00:56:27.559
just I can't stand this, JD. And he runs me over. Now,
850
00:56:27.800 --> 00:56:32.400
I got some dislocated ligaments in my knee, my back
851
00:56:32.840 --> 00:56:36.159
is you know, lumbar is broken, and my head trauma
852
00:56:36.280 --> 00:56:41.280
and all of these different things. I would love for
853
00:56:41.400 --> 00:56:45.280
you to call the system nine to one one and
854
00:56:45.440 --> 00:56:50.599
say JD needs some help. But you didn't do it,
855
00:56:51.280 --> 00:56:54.280
so you could take that approach, Hey, I didn't do that.
856
00:56:55.039 --> 00:56:58.000
I don't need to heal that person. I didn't, right,
857
00:56:58.599 --> 00:57:02.000
but I'm in this street, and other people that witnessed
858
00:57:02.000 --> 00:57:04.599
it could take the same approach, Hey, I didn't do it.
859
00:57:05.000 --> 00:57:07.000
But then there might be you might be one of
860
00:57:07.039 --> 00:57:08.719
the few that says, you know what, I should call
861
00:57:08.760 --> 00:57:10.519
the police. I mean I should call nine one one.
862
00:57:10.719 --> 00:57:13.480
So I called nine one one, and the system, the
863
00:57:14.480 --> 00:57:22.199
ambulance says I didn't do it, not me, or they
864
00:57:22.280 --> 00:57:25.559
could come and help me heal and then take me
865
00:57:25.639 --> 00:57:28.159
to the doctors. And the doctors again could say I
866
00:57:28.280 --> 00:57:31.119
didn't do it, or they could say, Lord knows, this
867
00:57:31.360 --> 00:57:35.000
man needs to have surgery. So now we have to
868
00:57:35.079 --> 00:57:37.880
even harm him more. We have to so not that
869
00:57:38.000 --> 00:57:40.000
we have to harm more, but we have to cause
870
00:57:40.079 --> 00:57:43.000
more pain because to get to the problem, it's going
871
00:57:43.079 --> 00:57:46.280
to take some emotional unraveling of our how did we
872
00:57:46.440 --> 00:57:48.840
get here in the first place, and what does healing
873
00:57:48.960 --> 00:57:51.400
look like? And how do we change our approach?
874
00:57:51.800 --> 00:57:55.920
So in inspirations and that analoge. So are we looking
875
00:57:55.960 --> 00:58:04.000
at JB JD get injured and now we're trying to
876
00:58:05.920 --> 00:58:11.519
give him conversation or reparations for its injury. Or has
877
00:58:11.639 --> 00:58:21.679
JD passed on for ten generations about what happened the
878
00:58:22.280 --> 00:58:23.559
ten generations ago?
879
00:58:24.639 --> 00:58:28.199
Who are we talking about? Because it's different if real
880
00:58:28.320 --> 00:58:31.639
time get me out to me, just got hit me.
881
00:58:31.760 --> 00:58:38.679
We're talking about JD. We're talking about generations ago. We're
882
00:58:38.760 --> 00:58:43.119
talking about JD. JD is black culture period, right, So
883
00:58:43.320 --> 00:58:46.840
my cells recreate themselves in my while I'm alive, I'm
884
00:58:46.920 --> 00:58:51.719
still getting new cells. So this doesn't stop right if
885
00:58:51.760 --> 00:58:54.000
there's trauma that's happened to me. But let's say the
886
00:58:54.119 --> 00:58:58.639
system says I didn't do it, I'm not helping, doesn't
887
00:58:59.480 --> 00:59:03.320
make me. Eventually, I'm laying in the middle of the street.
888
00:59:03.800 --> 00:59:04.559
Well are you there?
889
00:59:04.719 --> 00:59:04.880
Now?
890
00:59:05.559 --> 00:59:08.719
Are we talking about where you laid ten generations ago?
891
00:59:09.360 --> 00:59:10.920
Because it's different. Is something just happen.
892
00:59:11.199 --> 00:59:14.880
Let's get there. Let's get there for a second. Let's
893
00:59:14.880 --> 00:59:19.679
get there for a second. I'm laying in the middle
894
00:59:19.679 --> 00:59:24.519
of the street. Okay, so that street is needed to
895
00:59:25.039 --> 00:59:28.800
continue our systems. We need to get passed. So now
896
00:59:28.840 --> 00:59:32.760
we're going, hey, man, get out of the way. But
897
00:59:32.960 --> 00:59:37.719
my my injuries haven't been healed. So somebody may come
898
00:59:37.800 --> 00:59:40.320
along and say, well, let me help move you out
899
00:59:40.320 --> 00:59:43.079
of the way. But they're not a doctor. They don't
900
00:59:43.159 --> 00:59:45.320
know the trauma that and so when they start to
901
00:59:45.400 --> 00:59:48.599
move me, now I'm also getting re injured because now
902
00:59:49.199 --> 00:59:52.280
or I have to try and compensate for my own injuries.
903
00:59:52.760 --> 00:59:57.079
And often when we when we don't heal our injuries,
904
00:59:57.360 --> 00:59:59.800
we're over compensating. I have a bad knee. I'm a
905
01:00:00.199 --> 01:00:03.639
walk stronger on this knee. Now the rest of my
906
01:00:03.719 --> 01:00:06.400
body is starting to get out of place because I'm
907
01:00:06.440 --> 01:00:10.920
over here. So you're talking about culturally having to operate
908
01:00:11.039 --> 01:00:14.000
in this system, getting out of people's way, being told
909
01:00:14.159 --> 01:00:17.280
pick yourselves up by your bootstraps. And I can't even
910
01:00:17.400 --> 01:00:19.719
reach my dag on boots right now because I'm so
911
01:00:19.960 --> 01:00:22.599
injured and we've never healed these things.
912
01:00:23.039 --> 01:00:26.719
I guess what will people have an issue with? It
913
01:00:26.880 --> 01:00:35.159
was just talking so called reparations. We're trying to We're
914
01:00:35.280 --> 01:00:40.159
trying to make the driver with your analogy, who ran
915
01:00:40.360 --> 01:00:41.360
JD over.
916
01:00:43.639 --> 01:00:51.039
Ten generations ago, his family paid for what he did
917
01:00:52.000 --> 01:00:52.400
to you.
918
01:00:53.320 --> 01:00:57.719
No, I'm saying we need any generations to go that. Now.
919
01:00:58.840 --> 01:01:01.000
We we gotta get.
920
01:01:03.840 --> 01:01:12.239
Uh medical examiner to perform an optopsy on a corpse
921
01:01:12.360 --> 01:01:15.039
that embari for ten generations to one.
922
01:01:15.320 --> 01:01:18.519
To rebuild what happened.
923
01:01:18.199 --> 01:01:21.320
To j D, to see and can find out who
924
01:01:21.440 --> 01:01:24.480
who did this to JD to go get the right
925
01:01:24.599 --> 01:01:29.760
of perussion, who did that injury to JD or their family.
926
01:01:31.400 --> 01:01:35.000
No, you don't have to do that. You don't have to, okay,
927
01:01:35.039 --> 01:01:40.280
because now JD is a father of children lead and
928
01:01:40.440 --> 01:01:43.480
he's stuck in the street because he can't physically get
929
01:01:43.559 --> 01:01:46.360
himself up. And now it's impacting the rest of the
930
01:01:46.480 --> 01:01:49.519
life around him. It's impacting his role in the community.
931
01:01:49.840 --> 01:01:52.559
He getting able to open up his business, the hardware
932
01:01:52.639 --> 01:01:55.039
store wasn't able to open up all of these things.
933
01:01:55.239 --> 01:02:00.639
We can't keep things isolated. That's that individualistic mentality, say culture,
934
01:02:00.679 --> 01:02:02.760
we are all connected to one another.
935
01:02:02.840 --> 01:02:05.320
So we have we also had to look at.
936
01:02:05.800 --> 01:02:08.360
We have caused generational harm because the rest of the
937
01:02:08.400 --> 01:02:11.719
world is also still going and they get to continue
938
01:02:11.760 --> 01:02:14.519
to gather more resources and continue to gather more and
939
01:02:15.039 --> 01:02:19.960
JD's family is now set behind. Rather than we have
940
01:02:20.119 --> 01:02:22.800
a plate, we have systems in place, and if we
941
01:02:22.920 --> 01:02:26.920
had love in our systems, we would you would not
942
01:02:27.159 --> 01:02:32.320
have to overcompensate. We punish those with less but not
943
01:02:32.559 --> 01:02:35.039
having as much. In this system, we charge you more.
944
01:02:35.360 --> 01:02:37.559
You have to go through more to get your resources,
945
01:02:37.840 --> 01:02:39.760
all of these different things. We have set up a
946
01:02:39.840 --> 01:02:42.760
system that makes it more challenging. So that's not a
947
01:02:42.880 --> 01:02:46.639
loving system that we we can define it as tough love.
948
01:02:46.880 --> 01:02:51.199
But that's because we have the power to define what in.
949
01:02:51.280 --> 01:02:58.159
What country are millionni people prospering most?
950
01:02:59.159 --> 01:03:00.880
So let me ask you this, no no no, no,
951
01:03:00.960 --> 01:03:03.000
no no no no no hold on answers answer that
952
01:03:03.119 --> 01:03:06.280
question first, then do you think, as as asked your question.
953
01:03:07.760 --> 01:03:11.960
I don't know where they prospering the most. I don't
954
01:03:12.000 --> 01:03:15.039
know because my definition of prospering is might be different.
955
01:03:15.079 --> 01:03:18.800
I'm not just okay, well, well, well wealth, right.
956
01:03:19.079 --> 01:03:21.559
But my definition of wealth is.
957
01:03:23.039 --> 01:03:28.400
Still has wealth, not not not necessarily Jesse's definition of wealth,
958
01:03:29.000 --> 01:03:36.079
but general population. If people want to say, okay, here, okay,
959
01:03:36.840 --> 01:03:41.559
here in this country, there are more black millionnaires in
960
01:03:41.639 --> 01:03:45.360
the world. They are more black millionaires anywhere in the world.
961
01:03:46.480 --> 01:03:57.440
The Black American community three point seven seven trillion after taxes.
962
01:03:58.519 --> 01:04:00.519
Hispanics are now number one.
963
01:04:01.360 --> 01:04:01.679
Mm hm.
964
01:04:02.159 --> 01:04:08.280
They may force something. So is that not reparations.
965
01:04:09.000 --> 01:04:12.320
No, that's not reparations. That's that's showing us that the
966
01:04:12.440 --> 01:04:16.880
greatest people have suffered the most and still are able
967
01:04:17.000 --> 01:04:20.360
to thrive. Right, So, when we want to talk about
968
01:04:20.400 --> 01:04:25.360
superiority versus inferiority, then we are showing ourselves to be
969
01:04:26.159 --> 01:04:30.079
that we have harmed people for so long, blown up towns,
970
01:04:30.199 --> 01:04:34.000
and every time you're going to so you still economically
971
01:04:34.079 --> 01:04:38.840
don't own and control banking systems, don't enough to really
972
01:04:39.360 --> 01:04:43.880
have your own structures, don't own and control education systems.
973
01:04:44.039 --> 01:04:44.360
Media.
974
01:04:45.639 --> 01:04:49.800
Huh, have blacks ever controlled the education system of the
975
01:04:49.880 --> 01:04:51.400
community or banks.
976
01:04:53.360 --> 01:04:55.960
More so, I would say different periods of times, and
977
01:04:56.559 --> 01:05:01.119
in Africa and other nations before that, not here, before
978
01:05:01.559 --> 01:05:05.159
white folks showed up and during certain segregation times.
979
01:05:04.960 --> 01:05:09.199
Yes, certain education times like what what what? What said?
980
01:05:09.400 --> 01:05:12.039
Education times are your frone to so even in like
981
01:05:12.239 --> 01:05:16.119
Jim Crow and whatnot? When when we wanted to keep
982
01:05:16.400 --> 01:05:19.320
So this is what I'm saying, reparations isn't just about
983
01:05:19.679 --> 01:05:25.840
uh slavery. Since then, we've we've changed that bill. Going
984
01:05:25.920 --> 01:05:29.880
back to the building of harm, we went from laying
985
01:05:29.960 --> 01:05:34.840
the concrete to building the infrastructures. We're doing different things,
986
01:05:34.960 --> 01:05:38.639
but we're still trying to control the resources and exclude
987
01:05:39.000 --> 01:05:42.480
black folks from them and even till they thrive. Even
988
01:05:42.519 --> 01:05:46.199
though they thrive, all of a sudden, now you're thriving
989
01:05:46.320 --> 01:05:50.119
becomes a threat to my success. This is where we
990
01:05:50.239 --> 01:05:53.000
are right now. We're so worried about everybody taking our
991
01:05:53.400 --> 01:05:57.239
jobs or taking this or taking that. Why Because everybody
992
01:05:57.320 --> 01:06:00.400
else's success is a threat to our success. That is
993
01:06:00.440 --> 01:06:06.719
a scarcity competitive mentality of which we're in this rat
994
01:06:06.840 --> 01:06:08.480
race we call race.
995
01:06:08.639 --> 01:06:11.119
I guess, I guess it is that work because again,
996
01:06:11.199 --> 01:06:12.239
I go through the payments.
997
01:06:12.280 --> 01:06:20.519
That everything is based on economics, right, not sccualty, as
998
01:06:20.599 --> 01:06:28.039
you agreed, making making cold valuable, making dark stuff that
999
01:06:28.079 --> 01:06:31.880
come up to the ground valuable right where every reaching
1000
01:06:31.920 --> 01:06:35.199
the people were tripping over oil, tipping over gold, didn't care,
1001
01:06:35.760 --> 01:06:39.719
but use it in the barter system. So before we
1002
01:06:39.880 --> 01:06:44.440
were doing notches on a stick. Then we start using
1003
01:06:45.960 --> 01:06:49.599
cattle to change goods. And then we came up and
1004
01:06:49.679 --> 01:06:54.000
started doing gold. And then we said, well we can't
1005
01:06:54.079 --> 01:06:57.400
be walking around with big heavy badge of.
1006
01:06:57.440 --> 01:07:02.559
Gold less put let's use the dollar of paper dollars
1007
01:07:02.880 --> 01:07:05.239
changed the same value. But still it's to.
1008
01:07:05.360 --> 01:07:09.320
Drive economic system. But one more point as you close,
1009
01:07:09.880 --> 01:07:18.960
when you mentioned about the cancel culture, Yeah, does that
1010
01:07:19.079 --> 01:07:22.639
fit into or into ways?
1011
01:07:24.119 --> 01:07:26.360
Of course, it's a white it's a white cultural thing.
1012
01:07:26.760 --> 01:07:29.440
We're either going to shoot you or deny you, or
1013
01:07:29.960 --> 01:07:33.039
cancel you if you disagree with us on both sides
1014
01:07:33.079 --> 01:07:36.320
of it. It's it's a very reactive part of our
1015
01:07:36.400 --> 01:07:42.679
culture because we're in a position. We're in a position
1016
01:07:42.800 --> 01:07:47.119
to be able to define our lives much greater, so easier.
1017
01:07:47.599 --> 01:07:54.039
I can use my position to decide to cancel what
1018
01:07:54.480 --> 01:07:58.960
you're your disagreement with me. We can't continue a conversation
1019
01:07:59.519 --> 01:08:02.920
because can continuing a conversation would have to lead us
1020
01:08:03.079 --> 01:08:06.079
to our own and our own figuring out how do
1021
01:08:06.159 --> 01:08:08.880
we share these things When we can easily and that's
1022
01:08:09.000 --> 01:08:12.119
easier for us, why not do that? So I want
1023
01:08:12.159 --> 01:08:14.960
to just ask you one question. I know it's your interview.
1024
01:08:15.599 --> 01:08:23.600
I don't know name one place where Europeans have shown
1025
01:08:23.720 --> 01:08:29.600
up and improved the quality of life for those who
1026
01:08:29.680 --> 01:08:35.520
were already occupying those lands. Improve the quality of life,
1027
01:08:35.680 --> 01:08:41.479
not this monetary economic thing, but actually improve the quality
1028
01:08:41.520 --> 01:08:43.520
of life. I will tell you no, we are the
1029
01:08:43.680 --> 01:08:47.760
sickest people. We have so much health problems. We have
1030
01:08:48.479 --> 01:08:52.239
destroyed our soil, destroyed the earth. There's so much problems
1031
01:08:52.800 --> 01:08:57.600
in our society. And the people that were here but
1032
01:08:58.039 --> 01:08:58.760
not benefit.
1033
01:08:58.880 --> 01:09:01.560
But that's not what you I mean when you look
1034
01:09:01.680 --> 01:09:09.439
at the quality of life, the the prosperity, the the
1035
01:09:10.479 --> 01:09:13.680
the American ideal that we were able to export to
1036
01:09:13.800 --> 01:09:18.600
the rest of the world, that they benefited from Europe
1037
01:09:18.760 --> 01:09:22.720
and and all other cultures benefit from the American experience.
1038
01:09:22.800 --> 01:09:27.880
That without this American experience they would not been able
1039
01:09:27.960 --> 01:09:28.720
to benefit from.
1040
01:09:29.720 --> 01:09:31.600
I'm not saying that the American experiences.
1041
01:09:33.880 --> 01:09:37.319
Not the people that were already occupying this land did
1042
01:09:37.399 --> 01:09:40.760
not benefit from that. They were living a much more
1043
01:09:40.840 --> 01:09:43.039
comfortable life before we got here.
1044
01:09:43.800 --> 01:09:49.159
Well that's relative, Okay, that's relative.
1045
01:09:49.199 --> 01:09:52.439
That's because because I'm not necessarily of course, I'm not
1046
01:09:52.560 --> 01:09:55.439
totally disagree with you, because of course when you look
1047
01:09:55.479 --> 01:09:59.520
at where their ingenuity and and and their culture was.
1048
01:10:00.079 --> 01:10:11.680
But when when you look at everything, we are animals
1049
01:10:12.720 --> 01:10:13.520
on a higher level.
1050
01:10:13.560 --> 01:10:16.880
But we still animals when you look at.
1051
01:10:18.359 --> 01:10:25.479
The the conqueror and the conqueror, just as you would
1052
01:10:25.680 --> 01:10:30.960
in any animal society, the weakest where paris.
1053
01:10:30.960 --> 01:10:31.600
To the strong.
1054
01:10:32.079 --> 01:10:36.680
Now you may have an argument on where the fairness
1055
01:10:36.760 --> 01:10:42.119
of it, but there's a reason things happen, and I
1056
01:10:42.199 --> 01:10:44.920
can't say that. But when I step back and look
1057
01:10:44.960 --> 01:10:49.880
at where the possibility from that period has led this
1058
01:10:50.159 --> 01:10:54.680
country and led myself, we are better than any other
1059
01:10:54.840 --> 01:10:58.760
country on the planet when you look at the a
1060
01:11:00.239 --> 01:11:06.159
level of wealth, individual wealth, particularly the but people in
1061
01:11:06.239 --> 01:11:10.920
this country make the poorest person in South America blush right.
1062
01:11:12.560 --> 01:11:15.560
But harm was used. It didn't improve the quality of
1063
01:11:15.720 --> 01:11:19.079
life for those people. When we showed up. We didn't
1064
01:11:19.119 --> 01:11:21.039
show up and say this is how you can do that.
1065
01:11:22.960 --> 01:11:27.199
They we actually used your ability to be ingenuous, And
1066
01:11:27.319 --> 01:11:32.680
the only thing we've ever really been ingenuity about is
1067
01:11:32.760 --> 01:11:37.520
creating this imitation of life and having a patent system
1068
01:11:37.600 --> 01:11:41.119
and a ways to control and grab this wealth. But
1069
01:11:41.239 --> 01:11:43.640
at the end of the day, the apple tree is
1070
01:11:43.720 --> 01:11:46.239
going to feed me, The money isn't going to I
1071
01:11:46.319 --> 01:11:50.520
can't eat it. So we've created this whole outside world
1072
01:11:50.880 --> 01:11:55.000
that doesn't need to exist for economic purposes so we
1073
01:11:55.079 --> 01:11:59.760
can control the resources. And we have caused harm every
1074
01:12:00.199 --> 01:12:03.199
single place that we have gone to the people that
1075
01:12:03.279 --> 01:12:07.000
were already there, never improving their quality of life.
1076
01:12:07.399 --> 01:12:12.680
Well, now again one can be detached. Both both both
1077
01:12:12.800 --> 01:12:13.520
can be correct.
1078
01:12:14.159 --> 01:12:14.640
Mm hmmm.
1079
01:12:14.800 --> 01:12:18.199
Where we destroyed the the initial people who were here,
1080
01:12:18.760 --> 01:12:22.159
but then there they're foult that the children that the
1081
01:12:22.279 --> 01:12:25.640
children came after them. I could say, I'm a lot
1082
01:12:25.720 --> 01:12:27.479
wealthier than my grandparents.
1083
01:12:28.079 --> 01:12:30.000
I show a lot wealthier.
1084
01:12:31.319 --> 01:12:34.279
And a lot more affluent than my grandparents, grandparents grandparents.
1085
01:12:34.760 --> 01:12:38.920
So again, yeah, I could say some eggs were broken
1086
01:12:39.880 --> 01:12:40.319
back then.
1087
01:12:40.840 --> 01:12:46.159
Truth, had had your grandparents not been you don't think
1088
01:12:46.319 --> 01:12:49.600
you had they not been harmed, you don't think you
1089
01:12:49.920 --> 01:12:56.039
would still be wealthier than them, right, So no, not not.
1090
01:12:56.279 --> 01:13:01.279
Not not not again respeculating right, and and we're looking
1091
01:13:01.359 --> 01:13:03.840
at what might have been. No, because when you look
1092
01:13:03.920 --> 01:13:09.000
at the steps that the Europeans based on the Christian Bible.
1093
01:13:10.800 --> 01:13:14.159
First the Christian Bible, because Christian Bible corrected a lot
1094
01:13:14.239 --> 01:13:19.000
of errors that man alone, because they're still slavery in Africa,
1095
01:13:20.279 --> 01:13:23.119
which staying got a Christian Bible. My people in this
1096
01:13:23.520 --> 01:13:28.960
slave blacks and dis country were free due to Christian theology.
1097
01:13:30.199 --> 01:13:33.319
No, I will will have to talk about that another time.
1098
01:13:33.680 --> 01:13:35.239
Oh no, you can do that, we could happen.
1099
01:13:35.359 --> 01:13:37.800
But again, when you look at a constitution, a constitution
1100
01:13:38.119 --> 01:13:41.520
was based on the Bible, and there's no other country,
1101
01:13:41.880 --> 01:13:48.479
even England, even though they abandoned slavery before us. The
1102
01:13:48.560 --> 01:13:51.479
way that we got out of slavery was adherence to
1103
01:13:51.560 --> 01:13:53.720
the constitution, which is based on the Bible.
1104
01:13:57.039 --> 01:13:59.079
So that's why I see the connection there.
1105
01:13:59.199 --> 01:14:03.600
And when you look at how partisan theology was imposed
1106
01:14:04.880 --> 01:14:08.920
as a culture that corrected a lot of things that
1107
01:14:09.399 --> 01:14:12.399
were not being corrected because you still got issues in
1108
01:14:12.560 --> 01:14:18.159
Europe that you don't have here in regards to how
1109
01:14:19.119 --> 01:14:24.560
racist deal with deal with one another. And not saying
1110
01:14:24.600 --> 01:14:29.399
it's perfect, but I'm saying line, everything, everything up side
1111
01:14:29.439 --> 01:14:32.039
by side. America is still the best country on the planet,
1112
01:14:32.439 --> 01:14:33.880
even even with its warts.
1113
01:14:35.840 --> 01:14:38.960
No, we're only the best because we designed an economic
1114
01:14:39.039 --> 01:14:44.079
system that allows us to control resources through harming others.
1115
01:14:44.359 --> 01:14:45.720
And it's not necessary.
1116
01:14:46.000 --> 01:14:47.479
I didn't say it is perfect.
1117
01:14:47.640 --> 01:14:53.079
It's not necessary. We could share in these resources and
1118
01:14:53.199 --> 01:14:57.039
restructure how we use the planet, and and the planet
1119
01:14:57.079 --> 01:14:59.520
would take care of us. Life already worked. So I
1120
01:14:59.560 --> 01:15:03.119
would say Christians from a European standpoint got it wrong,
1121
01:15:03.479 --> 01:15:07.239
and the true Christians are from that of a more
1122
01:15:07.319 --> 01:15:12.960
melanated culture in the But there's no money in that, right,
1123
01:15:13.079 --> 01:15:16.039
But we don't need money to exist, So that whole
1124
01:15:16.680 --> 01:15:22.880
created imitation of life is what we're operating in because
1125
01:15:22.960 --> 01:15:26.279
money doesn't have to do anything. At some point we're
1126
01:15:26.319 --> 01:15:28.640
going to have to ask somebody, how much is it
1127
01:15:28.720 --> 01:15:30.800
going to cost me to get you to pass the
1128
01:15:31.600 --> 01:15:34.319
salt to me at the dinner table. We don't need
1129
01:15:34.479 --> 01:15:37.159
money to make all of these things happen. Money doesn't
1130
01:15:37.199 --> 01:15:42.079
do anything on its own, but our own our currency
1131
01:15:42.159 --> 01:15:45.600
is only as valuable as our ability to shoot and
1132
01:15:45.720 --> 01:15:48.880
destroy you because our military is the only thing backing
1133
01:15:49.239 --> 01:15:53.239
our currency. So causing harm is what we do best.
1134
01:15:53.760 --> 01:15:55.800
Destroying crap is what we do best.
1135
01:15:56.319 --> 01:16:00.359
Right, Yeah, that's correct, now, that's that's that's what we do.
1136
01:16:00.520 --> 01:16:03.479
But still, I mean, ain't.
1137
01:16:02.960 --> 01:16:09.880
Nothing, there's nothing would say that's right about Now, that's.
1138
01:16:09.720 --> 01:16:11.880
That's a whole no conversation. And I agree with you there.
1139
01:16:12.319 --> 01:16:13.199
But when you ask me.
1140
01:16:16.079 --> 01:16:22.520
Basically, what country that whites come to that is not
1141
01:16:22.840 --> 01:16:26.399
better off than when they so called quote unquote first landed,
1142
01:16:26.880 --> 01:16:27.279
I will.
1143
01:16:27.199 --> 01:16:32.359
Always look at not not the beginning, but where we
1144
01:16:32.479 --> 01:16:32.880
are now.
1145
01:16:34.560 --> 01:16:36.680
I can say what they did back there was funked up,
1146
01:16:37.439 --> 01:16:40.840
But I can always say also say when you look
1147
01:16:40.920 --> 01:16:45.920
at the animal kingdom, where there is another animal introduced
1148
01:16:46.000 --> 01:16:50.079
to a space that wasn't there another predator, they will
1149
01:16:50.159 --> 01:16:53.760
we have it on those creatures who aren't used to
1150
01:16:53.880 --> 01:16:58.159
their presence, and they would eat them up until the
1151
01:16:58.279 --> 01:17:02.039
people that those creatures there that before them, would developed
1152
01:17:02.039 --> 01:17:06.119
a resistance to them, either turn around and defeat them
1153
01:17:06.880 --> 01:17:11.760
or coosist with them, even in a less superior position,
1154
01:17:13.319 --> 01:17:14.600
which is kind of where we are.
1155
01:17:18.199 --> 01:17:24.439
Well. I would say that the most inferior people, the
1156
01:17:24.600 --> 01:17:29.159
least the most mutated people from our natural source had
1157
01:17:29.239 --> 01:17:34.079
to create a world of competition because upon true meritocracy
1158
01:17:34.399 --> 01:17:37.840
where we didn't have this outside element that we created
1159
01:17:38.239 --> 01:17:41.560
in the economics. In true meritocracy, that's why we don't
1160
01:17:41.600 --> 01:17:45.119
want reparations, not because we're afraid black folks are going
1161
01:17:45.199 --> 01:17:48.079
to harm us and do to us what we did
1162
01:17:48.159 --> 01:17:51.680
to them. We don't want it because in the true meritocracy,
1163
01:17:51.760 --> 01:17:55.079
we have not practiced being our best selves. We've just
1164
01:17:55.239 --> 01:17:58.800
practiced winning, which you either win by being your best
1165
01:17:58.840 --> 01:18:02.640
self or you win by harming your opponent. And that's
1166
01:18:02.680 --> 01:18:06.159
where we have chosen to operate and stay in. And
1167
01:18:06.319 --> 01:18:09.760
so those aren't true Christian values. We just use them
1168
01:18:10.039 --> 01:18:12.680
and we create a system that makes it look like
1169
01:18:13.039 --> 01:18:16.840
we're truly Christian. We didn't give up slavery because it
1170
01:18:17.000 --> 01:18:19.079
was the right thing to do. We gave up slavery
1171
01:18:19.199 --> 01:18:23.239
because economically there was a shift, and that was how
1172
01:18:23.479 --> 01:18:24.520
we decided.
1173
01:18:24.159 --> 01:18:24.479
To do that.
1174
01:18:24.680 --> 01:18:25.720
What's what's what's what's that?
1175
01:18:25.800 --> 01:18:30.520
What you use economically, I'm not opposed, I'm just from
1176
01:18:30.600 --> 01:18:40.079
our scarcity mentality, and then you fall back. I've appreciated
1177
01:18:40.119 --> 01:18:41.520
this conversation very.
1178
01:18:41.479 --> 01:18:49.039
Much, and I went over for a purpose because I mean,
1179
01:18:49.119 --> 01:18:51.079
you're very entertained if that downs.
1180
01:18:51.880 --> 01:18:54.359
And I enjoy your point of view.
1181
01:18:54.479 --> 01:18:58.600
And you know I always say we always got to
1182
01:18:58.680 --> 01:19:02.960
say the same thing, always got your hundredercent, but to
1183
01:19:03.279 --> 01:19:05.319
hear your point of view, and like, okay, I didn't.
1184
01:19:05.800 --> 01:19:08.439
I didn't heard it before, so now now I heard it.
1185
01:19:08.720 --> 01:19:13.640
Okay, it doesn't necessarily changing, but it does add right
1186
01:19:14.000 --> 01:19:17.680
to my position. And I may I might go back
1187
01:19:17.720 --> 01:19:21.119
and try to get more educated to see where to
1188
01:19:21.319 --> 01:19:26.880
just get this really out there philosophy from. And I
1189
01:19:27.000 --> 01:19:29.960
hope that people who may not initially agree with my
1190
01:19:30.079 --> 01:19:33.159
position or your position, what least leader might open to
1191
01:19:33.359 --> 01:19:35.920
maybe do the same to get more educated.
1192
01:19:35.960 --> 01:19:39.359
So then you know, I went into another JD. I
1193
01:19:39.439 --> 01:19:43.880
heard it before. I'm ready for you now, all right,
1194
01:19:44.680 --> 01:19:45.479
appreciate JD.
1195
01:19:46.199 --> 01:19:49.039
Appreciate you tell the folks where they could follow you
1196
01:19:49.680 --> 01:19:52.239
find the more about you get, get more involvedment maybe
1197
01:19:52.840 --> 01:19:53.039
to you.
1198
01:19:53.960 --> 01:19:56.800
The name of my book is Race for What. The
1199
01:19:56.920 --> 01:19:59.359
name of the website is Race for What. It's f
1200
01:19:59.439 --> 01:20:03.640
o R. So go check it out. You can get
1201
01:20:03.720 --> 01:20:06.399
all my social media links, you can see blogs that
1202
01:20:06.479 --> 01:20:09.520
I've written, you can get you know, purchased the book
1203
01:20:10.560 --> 01:20:13.479
and you know, do what you want with it. Read
1204
01:20:13.560 --> 01:20:16.640
it the audio book. Yeah, I have an audiobook an
1205
01:20:16.680 --> 01:20:23.520
ebook and paperback book, and uh yeah, let's let's keep
1206
01:20:23.560 --> 01:20:26.880
the conversation going and stop canceling each other. And that's
1207
01:20:27.359 --> 01:20:31.000
let's walk across the lines. Because there whether you're a
1208
01:20:31.079 --> 01:20:33.560
liberal or a or whether you have a liberal friend
1209
01:20:33.720 --> 01:20:37.119
or or a family member or a you know, a
1210
01:20:37.920 --> 01:20:41.439
conservative friend or family member, if you need one hundred dollars,
1211
01:20:42.119 --> 01:20:45.119
at a human level, probably both would give it to
1212
01:20:45.199 --> 01:20:47.720
you if they had it. If you need a ride,
1213
01:20:48.760 --> 01:20:50.600
need to ride, but.
1214
01:20:55.439 --> 01:21:01.319
I need you Chi though, Jess a good thing.
1215
01:21:01.600 --> 01:21:06.079
There's a level of humanity that exists across both and
1216
01:21:06.279 --> 01:21:09.880
there's more to it and more nuances to it than
1217
01:21:10.239 --> 01:21:12.239
than just being on one side or the other.
1218
01:21:13.840 --> 01:21:14.640
Appreciate j D.
1219
01:21:15.319 --> 01:21:17.239

1221
01:21:20.640 --> 01:21:22.039
run his ball back, we can do that.
1222
01:21:22.399 --> 01:21:24.199
We can do that. I would I would love to.
1223
01:21:26.399 --> 01:21:26.439
You.
1224
01:21:27.560 --> 01:21:59.920
