OM DETTA AVSNITT
On this week’s Essential Sci-Fi Movies pod, we discuss the 2022 PREDATOR prequel, PREY, with Mariah Gossett from Star Trek Discovery Pod.
Directed by Dan Trachtenberg, this unique film explores the Predator franchise in a specific time period, featuring a strong female lead, stunning visuals, and intense fight sequences. We praise the performances, indigenous representation, and the film's subtext about colonialism. Prey embraces its connections to the franchise while standing on its own as a strong film.
