Your Home Environment Can Be Making You Sick, with Michael Dillon

WEBVTT
00:00:07.040 --> 00:00:19.120
Welcome to Healthy Mind, Healthy Life, the show where we explore the real practical things that shape how we feel, how we function, and how we truly thrive.
00:00:19.440 --> 00:00:36.880
I am your host, Nasish, and today I am joined by Mike Dillon, Christian entrepreneur, environmental wellness advocate, founder of Airwaterhealing.com, and host of Maha with Mike on Rumble.
00:00:37.439 --> 00:00:55.359
Mike has spent years studying the intersection of environment, performance, and human well-being, with a particular focus on hidden health impacts of indoor air quality, mold, and growing environmental footprint of large-scale technology infrastructure.
00:00:55.600 --> 00:01:07.519
Today we are talking about what it really is in our air and water and why it really matters for our health and what we can do to about it.
00:01:07.760 --> 00:01:10.480
So, Mike, welcome to Healthy Mind, Healthy Life.
00:01:10.560 --> 00:01:12.319
I'm really glad to have you here.
00:01:13.439 --> 00:01:14.319
Thank you so much.
00:01:14.400 --> 00:01:16.239
Yes, Healthy Mind and Healthy Life.
00:01:16.400 --> 00:01:20.239
What a great name for a show because we truly are what we think.
00:01:20.400 --> 00:01:37.680
And, you know, I think that so far everything we've seen here in this country, when you visit abroad, you know, one of the biggest concerns is when you walk into other countries, a lot of the, you know, the pharmacies are filled with spices and herbs and other ways to detox the body.
00:01:37.840 --> 00:01:49.359
And unfortunately, here in the United States, we focus so much on just trying to coat the problem instead of getting to the root cause of illness or the root cause of disease.
00:01:49.599 --> 00:02:05.040
And that's kind of where air water healing was born, you know, not only offering people educational seminars and educational pieces, continued educations through Global Healing Nutrition University, but teaching people to look at plants first, right?
00:02:05.200 --> 00:02:17.759
Look at what we can use that God gave us here, our creator, to be able to boost the immune system, to be able to find the vibrant rich plants that give us life.
00:02:18.080 --> 00:02:27.439
And, you know, the more and more that we look at the United States as this pillar of health, you start to ask, why are people in Japan, why are people in Morocco?
00:02:27.599 --> 00:02:36.639
Why are people in Italy living 8, 10, even 15 years longer than our life expectancy here in the United States?
00:02:36.800 --> 00:02:40.000
But yet we spend more money on pharmaceutical advertising.
00:02:40.159 --> 00:02:46.639
We spend more money on pharmaceutical research, but yet we're not even in the top 10% of life expectancy.
00:02:51.280 --> 00:02:55.120
I think that is quite a bummer that we are all facing.
00:02:55.360 --> 00:03:02.879
But there are a lot of underneath, you know, things that we're gonna get to know about all of this with the in this beautiful conversation with you.
00:03:04.080 --> 00:03:05.520
Yes, one 100%.
00:03:06.319 --> 00:03:06.719
Yeah.
00:03:06.879 --> 00:03:18.240
And you know, before we get into it, I just want to tell the listeners that listeners, some statements reflect personal belief and experiences and are presented as individual views, not medical advice.
00:03:18.479 --> 00:03:23.039
So listeners should consult qualified professionals for medical conditions.
00:03:24.240 --> 00:03:24.560
Yeah.
00:03:25.199 --> 00:03:33.599
So, Mike, you describe your mission as rooted in faith, service, and firsthand experience.
00:03:33.919 --> 00:03:38.800
What was the first hand experience that made this personal for you?
00:03:38.879 --> 00:03:44.319
And what happened that turned environmental wellness into a calling for you?
00:03:45.599 --> 00:03:52.879
So a lot of the kids that I grew up with, you know, they didn't have crunchy moms and holistic parents.
00:03:53.120 --> 00:04:00.960
I grew up whenever I got sick, my mom would take me to the chiropractor or would we go to an herbalist or a nutritional doctor.
00:04:01.120 --> 00:04:08.319
And, you know, my my parents were very against giving us uh, you know, um pharmaceuticals.
00:04:08.479 --> 00:04:19.439
And uh, you know, my mom and dad believed that if you had a fever and you let your body run the course, don't run to Tylenol, you know, unless it was a severe, you know, life-threatening condition.
00:04:19.839 --> 00:04:25.519
We were always taught that the body can heal if you give it what it needs.
00:04:25.839 --> 00:04:30.720
And as I grew up, I realized that I wasn't going to the doctor all the time.
00:04:30.879 --> 00:04:35.839
I wasn't always in and out of the hospital like a lot of my other friends who were on a lot of prescriptions.
00:04:36.000 --> 00:04:44.879
And, you know, I grew up in the 90s when if a kid was a little wild, you know, the teachers would just say, hey, you just need to give them a prescription for this, a prescription for that.
00:04:45.120 --> 00:04:50.879
And, you know, looking back 30 years ago, now all of my friends have these chronic health conditions.
00:04:51.040 --> 00:05:05.279
And the only thing that I can think of is maybe they should have looked into it as a holistic approach, you know, a mind, sound mind, sound body, and and figured out a way to get to the root cause of what their illness was instead of trying to code it.
00:05:05.439 --> 00:05:22.079
But I also noticed that with getting proper adjustments and seeing a chiropractor, being physical, getting outside, my life is completely different than what we have in this country today, where these kids are just sitting down, they're given tablets, they're not going outside, they're not testing their immune system.
00:05:22.319 --> 00:05:29.680
And and the active lifestyle, you know, there is such a huge benefit in just walking, getting out and walking.
00:05:29.920 --> 00:05:32.639
Go and get some exercise, get your body moving.
00:05:32.879 --> 00:05:45.680
And, you know, and if you look at the you know, the life expectancy of people who continue to work and people who continue to work out, they outlive stagnant people who are sitting down and just letting their body completely rot.
00:05:45.839 --> 00:05:51.519
You know, you can have a 60-year-old that's in a wheelchair, or you can have a 60-year-old that's running the Boston Marathon.
00:05:51.680 --> 00:05:53.439
Push your body to the limits.
00:05:53.759 --> 00:06:02.800
Stop trying to, you know, uh just give up on your goals and continue to get out, continue to do what it is that you need to do to be able to succeed.
00:06:03.279 --> 00:06:05.360
Yeah, that is that is so true.
00:06:05.519 --> 00:06:21.600
And you know, this idea of, you know, supporting the body instead of suppressing the symptoms is actually very good because the way you are saying that, always running to prescription pills, it has become a trend these days, I'd say.
00:06:22.480 --> 00:06:30.639
Yeah, not only that, but when you know you go to the doctors and you're like, hey, I just want to lose weight, there's always a pill or an injection that they're willing to give you.
00:06:30.879 --> 00:06:33.920
And so few doctors talk about nutrition.
00:06:34.079 --> 00:06:37.439
They talk about diet, they don't talk about intermittent fasting.
00:06:37.680 --> 00:06:43.920
I I can tell you and your audience, I have multiple friends that I have very close to me.
00:06:44.000 --> 00:06:47.439
I've known them for some of them for years and some of them for decades.
00:06:47.680 --> 00:06:51.120
I had a very good friend of mine who did a hundred-day fast.
00:06:51.279 --> 00:06:55.040
He stopped eating food, no calories, no calories.
00:06:55.360 --> 00:06:59.439
He took in his minerals and he took in his vitamins.
00:06:59.600 --> 00:07:03.040
And after a hundred days, he had lost over 90 pounds.
00:07:03.120 --> 00:07:08.879
And his functional medicine doctor said that it was unbelievable the test that they were getting with him.
00:07:09.360 --> 00:07:10.319
Quick pause.
00:07:15.199 --> 00:07:17.519
Yeah, I mean, that is something.
00:07:18.959 --> 00:07:20.399
I was just saying quick pause.
00:07:20.480 --> 00:07:23.519
I'm I'm gonna go take care of the the baby real quick and then we'll continue this.
00:07:23.600 --> 00:07:24.879
Let me just put a shell on for her, okay?
00:07:26.079 --> 00:07:26.800
Yeah, definitely.
00:07:27.680 --> 00:07:28.879
Oh, okay, okay.
00:07:29.120 --> 00:07:39.199
So I, you know, I think that most people associate health with uh what goes into their body, food, supplements, and medication.
00:07:39.519 --> 00:07:45.680
Very few think uh about what they are breathing like every single day.
00:07:45.839 --> 00:07:49.759
And offer indoors is where they spend the majority of their time.
00:07:50.000 --> 00:07:57.360
So, what is the biggest misconception people carry about that indoor air quality and its impact on their health?
00:07:58.160 --> 00:08:02.319
Well, one of the most important things that you just listed was, you know, people care about their food.
00:08:02.480 --> 00:08:06.079
People care about what they're eating, the air that they're breathing, the water that they're drinking.
00:08:06.319 --> 00:08:13.839
But yes, most medical doctors who go to school for eight years, they on average have about eight to 10 hours of nutrition.
00:08:14.000 --> 00:08:29.040
So if you go to school, if you go to school and you spend thousands of hours learning about disease and learning about the body, but you're only spending eight hours learning about nutrition, if the water that we drink in the food that we eat, they say that you are what you eat, you are what you drink.
00:08:29.279 --> 00:08:40.000
So if you're breathing in 11,000 liters of air a day, and the primary source of that air is your home, you spend over a half, if not more, than your life in home.
00:08:40.159 --> 00:08:42.879
A third of it is spent sleeping in your bedroom.
00:08:43.120 --> 00:08:54.480
So hidden dangers like mold, mycotoxins, bacteria, off-gassing, uh, different types of chemical compounds that are inside of your carpets, your tiles, your drywall.
00:08:54.639 --> 00:09:05.519
You know, in the United States, in the southeast, from Alabama to the Florida Keys, we had the Chinese drywall epidemic where there was a lot of tainted drywall that had asbestos and different types of chemicals in it.
00:09:05.600 --> 00:09:07.600
And we're breathing these things in.
00:09:07.840 --> 00:09:12.159
So when people think about health, it's way beyond nutrition.
00:09:12.320 --> 00:09:13.919
It's way beyond supplements.
00:09:14.159 --> 00:09:17.519
You might say to me, Michael, I only drink bottled water.
00:09:17.679 --> 00:09:27.600
And then I would say to you, Do you have an Aro filter or at least an activated carbon or charcoal filter or even like a meringa seed filter on your shower head?
00:09:27.679 --> 00:09:30.159
And you'd be like, Oh no, but I drink good water.
00:09:30.399 --> 00:09:40.720
Well, if your skin is your largest organ and you're taking baths or showers in tainted water, your skin is absorbing all of these chemicals.
00:09:40.879 --> 00:09:48.639
And that's where we implore our people to think beyond just trusting your doctor because they're not asking you, what city do you live in?
00:09:48.879 --> 00:09:50.960
What type of bath water do you have?
00:09:51.200 --> 00:09:53.279
Do you live within five miles of a farm?
00:09:53.440 --> 00:09:55.759
Do you live within two miles of a golf course?
00:09:55.919 --> 00:10:00.320
These are all things that we have to start considering as human beings.
00:10:00.559 --> 00:10:02.320
This is not an American problem.
00:10:02.480 --> 00:10:04.240
This is a worldwide problem.
00:10:04.399 --> 00:10:09.919
The water we're showering, the water we're drinking, the water we're bathing our children in.
00:10:10.639 --> 00:10:12.879
Is the water filled with chemicals?
00:10:13.039 --> 00:10:14.960
Is it filled with microplastics?
00:10:15.279 --> 00:10:24.080
And we're just now starting to find out that this microplastic issue has been around for thousands of years, not just since we started using plastic bottles.
00:10:24.320 --> 00:10:46.399
So we have to continue to push beyond what your doctors are usually limited to and start thinking about what is it that you and I can do to become more holistic, healthy, sound-minded people, and really push yourself to become your own doctor, not an MD, but a doctor of your household.
00:10:46.639 --> 00:10:47.759
What am I eating?
00:10:47.919 --> 00:10:49.039
What am I drinking?
00:10:49.200 --> 00:10:50.720
What am I breathing?
00:10:50.879 --> 00:11:13.759
Because when you look at mold, especially mycotoxins, on average, 80% of Americans are exposed to mold on a weekly basis, whether it's at a mall, whether it's at their workplace, whether it's from a leaky faucet, whether it's due to high humidity in their home, or whether it's the mist coming off of the shower that gets caught inside of the grout.
00:11:14.000 --> 00:11:19.279
And there are so many conditions that mold can be misdiagnosed at.
00:11:19.440 --> 00:11:34.240
And you will be at four or five different doctors before you finally get to the root cause of what was causing your asthma or your insomnia or your sickness that had had you feeling down for months, if not years, before you correct the issue.
00:11:35.120 --> 00:11:37.440
Yeah, I mean, that makes a lot of sense.
00:11:37.679 --> 00:11:41.039
The correction of the issue is something that we should all work on.
00:11:41.200 --> 00:11:53.200
And you know, what I think is so important about this is that the gap between what people are experiencing and what they are bringing being is being told is causing it.
00:11:53.360 --> 00:11:59.039
Like when symptoms are real, the source is invisible and unacknowledged.
00:12:00.320 --> 00:12:05.600
And you know, as humans, we often end up blaming ourselves to the for it.
00:12:06.399 --> 00:12:06.720
Yeah.
00:12:06.960 --> 00:12:08.879
And we've been we've just been misled.
00:12:08.960 --> 00:12:13.440
You know, we have been misled by so much marketing.
00:12:13.600 --> 00:12:18.960
And I'm not blaming this on the food industry, I'm not blaming this on the pharmaceutical industry.
00:12:19.120 --> 00:12:25.600
I'm blaming this on we have an abundance here in the United States.
00:12:25.919 --> 00:12:37.759
And if you go back generations, I guarantee you your great-great-great-great-grandparents were hunter-gatherers, just like my great-great-great-great-grandparents were hunter-gatherers.
00:12:37.919 --> 00:12:49.840
You go out, you get the chicken, you go out, you hunt the deer, you go out, you shoot the moose, and then you would eat when the father or the hunter came home with the food.
00:12:50.000 --> 00:12:56.080
We have such an abundance in this country that I think that we have systemically become overeaters.
00:12:56.320 --> 00:13:04.879
I think the biggest con that was ever put on the American people and the worldwide population is eating three meals a day.
00:13:05.039 --> 00:13:09.039
Some of the healthiest people that I know are intermittent fasters.
00:13:09.360 --> 00:13:13.600
They either eat one meal a day or they eat one meal every other day.
00:13:13.759 --> 00:13:16.000
And think about what that is doing.
00:13:16.240 --> 00:13:22.240
That is giving you a 23-hour window of putting your body into autopathy.
00:13:22.399 --> 00:13:26.159
And it's giving you a chance to reset and you're not overeating.
00:13:26.320 --> 00:13:45.759
But when you're intermittent fasting, you need to eat good biblical food, whole grains, meat, fresh fruit, good produce, not say, oh, I'm gonna intermittent fast, but I'm gonna run the taco bell and I'm gonna get three chalupas and a rice and beans and then have three things of soda.
00:13:45.919 --> 00:13:55.600
And I'm not saying to your audience that you can't enjoy the finer things in life, but you need to switch your mentality and try to go towards an 80-20 rule.
00:13:55.759 --> 00:14:00.240
80% of the time, eat whole foods, eat whole meats.
00:14:00.480 --> 00:14:02.399
If you're a vegan, that's fine.
00:14:02.720 --> 00:14:10.799
Stick to the store bought organic section or go to your local farmers market and find out how they are growing?
00:14:10.960 --> 00:14:12.320
How are they washing the fruit?
00:14:12.559 --> 00:14:19.519
Are they spraying things on their uh fruit to make it last six to seven days longer when it's in the grocery store?
00:14:19.840 --> 00:14:25.519
When you start to make these switches, you start to notice the difference immediately.
00:14:25.919 --> 00:14:39.759
Yeah, you know, and we believe these are some things which are super healthy for us, focusing on our diet, focusing on what we are inhaling and where we are, like, you know, surrounding ourselves with all the things which are good for ourselves.
00:14:39.919 --> 00:14:43.519
Only we can put in that effort for ourselves.
00:14:43.919 --> 00:14:44.879
Yes, yes.
00:14:45.120 --> 00:14:49.279
And and not only that, but then and and focus on getting good quality sleep.
00:14:49.519 --> 00:14:53.840
Figure out, you know, how do I separate myself from my cell phone?
00:14:54.080 --> 00:15:09.600
How can I put my phone in another room so that way I'm not tempted to be on it and really focus on meditation and just, you know, being thankful and being present in the moment, you know, no screen time, 30 minutes to an hour before you go to bed.
00:15:09.759 --> 00:15:23.440
Put the phone, charge it if you need it for an alarm clock, leave your door cracked open a little bit, let the alarm, let it charge in another room so that way you're not putting additional frequencies and additional harm into your body and into your bedroom.
00:15:23.600 --> 00:15:26.000
Make your bedroom a sanctuary for sleep.
00:15:26.240 --> 00:15:30.000
Turn off the television, read a book, do some meditations.
00:15:30.159 --> 00:15:43.039
You want to make sure that we're getting good quality sleep, disconnecting from the internet, get disconnecting from the this social, this social interaction of having to scroll on all of these social medias.
00:15:43.200 --> 00:16:04.399
You know, another part of, you know, this conversation, and I know it's not really geared towards air and water, but we're facing, we're facing a tragedy in the United States where this generation that's growing up right now for the first time is not going to be educated the way that their parents and grandparents were, because their children are so distracted.
00:16:04.639 --> 00:16:06.960
They are so short span.
00:16:07.120 --> 00:16:14.879
You go take a child to a movie theater, they can't sit through an hour movie without taking out their phone and scrolling on social media and the shorts.
00:16:14.960 --> 00:16:17.200
They need these quick short form videos.
00:16:17.360 --> 00:16:31.679
You know, these deep dives, these health talks that you and I are doing, this is where the learning begins, not short form videos and quick directions and camera cuts and cartoons that are flashing to keep the brain occupied.
00:16:33.679 --> 00:16:37.519
Yeah, I mean, that is something which is happening so much recently.
00:16:37.840 --> 00:16:50.159
Yeah, I noticed that in my younger sibling and everybody like the younger generation, which is coming, they they cannot sit in a movie theater one and a half hour, one hour without their phone.
00:16:50.320 --> 00:16:54.399
In between the movie, they would need to swipe on reels and all that.
00:16:54.559 --> 00:17:04.559
Yes, it is happening, and it is so true of you to mention it in front of all of us because it brings that awareness that is lacking in so many people.
00:17:05.359 --> 00:17:13.519
And and you know, the other thing is I'm not trying to take away from your audience and say that there is not a world where pharmaceutical can be life-saving.
00:17:13.680 --> 00:17:19.119
I am not saying that, you know, if you get into a horrible accident to go home and stitch yourself up.
00:17:19.279 --> 00:17:23.279
In America, we have some of the greatest trauma care in the world.
00:17:23.519 --> 00:17:35.440
But I can tell you the seminars that I've been to, sitting down with botanists and holistic doctors, one of one of my guys on my pharmaceutical team, he was a biochemist from India.
00:17:35.680 --> 00:17:38.240
He came to Chicago in the 1970s.
00:17:38.400 --> 00:17:42.160
He worked with Bayer, he worked with uh acquiring Monsanto.
00:17:42.480 --> 00:17:47.920
He he came up with so many pharmaceutical things that were used in modern day science.
00:17:48.000 --> 00:17:53.039
And when he switched into nutraceutical, he said he saw so much good happening.
00:17:53.200 --> 00:17:55.680
He said, I really saw people starting to shift.
00:17:55.839 --> 00:18:07.920
And when you look at things like turmeric with uh black pepper extract for inflammation, I've had so many patients that have been on so many pain pillars, uh, painkillers and pain pills.
00:18:08.079 --> 00:18:32.640
That's a tongue twister, pain pillars, painkillers, pain pills, and then they start eating a healthy diet and say, hey, why don't you try a plant-based diet for 30 days, get rid of some of the inflammation that comes from eating too much meats, cut out the bacon, why don't you just try doing salads and eating vegetarian and not forever, but for 30 days, and start supplementing with black pepper oil and turmeric.
00:18:32.799 --> 00:18:35.920
And next thing you know, the inflammation starts to go down.
00:18:36.079 --> 00:18:37.519
They start to feel healthier.
00:18:37.599 --> 00:18:39.039
So now they're out exercising.
00:18:39.119 --> 00:18:45.279
They used to say, Oh, well, I couldn't walk before, so that's why I never exercise because my knee hurt, my hip hurt, my back hurt.
00:18:45.519 --> 00:18:49.359
When you start to lower the inflammation, your body is more responsive.
00:18:49.519 --> 00:18:51.599
You can get out and be more active.
00:18:53.599 --> 00:19:07.200
That is something so insightful because we are often not aware about why our body is doing these things, why we are not able to walk, and then our first approach towards is to take a pill.
00:19:07.759 --> 00:19:22.319
But then there are so many healthy options, so many real-time options, simple at-home options that we can do to reduce that inflammation, to reduce those things inside us, so that we can be more proactive in our life.
00:19:23.279 --> 00:19:25.200
And this is not my opinion.
00:19:25.359 --> 00:19:33.440
You you can go ask any, ask Gronk, ask ChatGPT, ask Google, the of over 200 developed countries.
00:19:33.599 --> 00:19:38.000
There's a handful that are still allowed to use pharmaceutical advertising.
00:19:38.160 --> 00:19:40.480
The same way that you don't see cigarette commercials.
00:19:40.559 --> 00:19:49.279
Remember growing up, we had the Marlborough man on the horse and he was smoking the cigarette, you know, and now they said, okay, you know, too many people are getting sick from smoking.
00:19:49.359 --> 00:19:50.880
We're taking this off the air.
00:19:51.119 --> 00:20:09.039
But there are so many countries that have outlawed pharmaceutical advertising, not because pharma is just completely wrong, it's because they give you too much dependency on trusting treating the symptom instead of looking at the root cause.
00:20:09.200 --> 00:20:27.039
And that's what a lot of good healthy doctors are now starting to wake up to and saying, hey, if we change somebody's diet and we change their sleep and we start putting them in a healthy home, you know, there's a great book out there that's called Sick Building Syndrome.
00:20:27.200 --> 00:20:32.400
And if your listeners or your audience want a really good read, you think you can find it on Amazon.
00:20:32.720 --> 00:20:34.319
It's less than 15 bucks.
00:20:34.480 --> 00:20:36.480
Look at Sick Building Syndrome.
00:20:36.640 --> 00:20:44.319
There, uh, or I believe the book might even be called Our Houses Are Making Us Sick, but it's referencing Sick Building Syndrome.
00:20:44.480 --> 00:20:50.559
All of the things that we bring into our home, the chemicals, the plug-ins, the air fresheners.
00:20:50.720 --> 00:21:06.480
There are so many things that your audience could do to 100% change their environment by um, you know, right here in my podcast where I'm sitting with you, to the left of me, I have three snake plants, the mother-in-law's tongue.
00:21:06.640 --> 00:21:14.480
I have a couple lilies, I have uh a couple ferns that are in here, and they start eating some of the chemicals and producing fresh air.
00:21:14.640 --> 00:21:19.359
I can go on vacation for a week and the plants don't die.
00:21:19.440 --> 00:21:20.880
I come back and I apologize.
00:21:21.039 --> 00:21:23.680
I pet them like a little cat and I give them some water.
00:21:23.839 --> 00:21:30.079
I change their soil or I give them some feeder soil once every three months and they perk right back up.
00:21:30.319 --> 00:21:37.359
There are so many things that are underneath your audience's kitchen sink that they can completely throw out and use vinegar.
00:21:37.519 --> 00:21:44.720
Just go get distilled vinegar, go to the grocery store, look at on online what can vinegar replace that's in my house right now.
00:21:44.880 --> 00:21:48.160
Stop using chemicals, stop using laundry detergent.
00:21:48.400 --> 00:21:56.559
You can make laundry detergent at home with essential oils, borax, and and even sometimes a little bit of uh baking soda.
00:21:56.720 --> 00:21:59.759
If you've got a really tough stain, use hydrogen peroxide.
00:22:00.240 --> 00:22:04.079
A little bit of baking soda and some uh organic soap.
00:22:04.319 --> 00:22:10.960
Because our skin is such a large organ that everything that you put on your skin, it gets sucked into your body.
00:22:11.200 --> 00:22:24.400
And all of these people that are coming up with these new solutions to make your house smell greater, they're not looking at the long-term impact of breathing in these chemicals because our bodies don't know what to do with them.
00:22:25.440 --> 00:22:26.319
Absolutely.
00:22:26.480 --> 00:22:37.279
This is such a necessary reminder for everybody who is listening in right now, and you know, for people who are who have their own families and everything, even living alone.
00:22:37.519 --> 00:22:44.240
This is so important for everyone to focus and listen and be aware about because it can help them so much.
00:22:44.480 --> 00:22:49.279
I think that our health does not begin and end at our front door.
00:22:49.440 --> 00:22:58.000
It is like the air you breathe, the water we drink you drink, and the environment you live within are all the part of the same conversation.
00:22:58.240 --> 00:23:04.240
And you have both the right and the power to ask harder questions about all of that.
00:23:04.880 --> 00:23:14.400
Yeah, and then another really good talking point for you know your audience is we really need to look at the environmental impact of these AI data centers.
00:23:14.480 --> 00:23:43.440
You know, that has become one of my one of my most sincere organic topics that I'm talking to people about, because I do believe that AI can help with so much medically, but when we become so dependent without looking at the impact of these data centers on water supply, electrical grid issues, low frequency ohms, pharmaceutical runoff, chemical runoff.
00:23:43.759 --> 00:23:46.079
But more importantly, water pressure.
00:23:46.400 --> 00:23:53.200
I've seen so many videos coming out of people who can't take showers normally anymore.
00:23:53.359 --> 00:23:58.559
They can't wash their dishes because the water pressure has dropped so substantially.
00:23:58.799 --> 00:24:01.279
Look up what's happening in Georgia right now.
00:24:01.519 --> 00:24:12.559
But more importantly, you have to ask yourself is it going to cost more money to run these AI centers than using a human worker?
00:24:12.720 --> 00:24:31.279
Because when you look at the cost of cooling the chips, the supercomputers, the cost of the chips, the cost of electricity, that is another thing that we have to be very, very concerned about because a lot of these AI data centers are signing in these land lease properties and they're using NDAs.
00:24:31.440 --> 00:24:36.640
So they're not disclosing how much water they're going to use, how much electricity they're going to use.
00:24:36.799 --> 00:24:43.920
And what happens when a storm comes through and they say, you know what, we're so dependent on this AI data center.
00:24:44.079 --> 00:24:48.160
We've got to get power back to them before we get power back to the people.
00:24:48.559 --> 00:24:49.279
Absolutely.
00:24:49.519 --> 00:24:50.799
This is so true.
00:24:50.960 --> 00:24:57.599
And, you know, Mike, I cannot tell you how insightful this conversation was and how much I learned.
00:24:57.680 --> 00:25:04.319
And I believe it is it has benefited so much to all of my listeners who learned, who listened to this conversation.
