► Tell us about you and your podcast
I am a retired Air Force veteran, wife, mother of three, and grandmother of one. I know how much God loves us, but it doesn't always feel like it. There have been many times I have struggled between my faith and where I was/am in life. What I believe and what I feel have not always aligned. In 2003, I was diagnosed with PTSD. I became depressed and developed anxiety. Over the next few years, I learned to lean on God and developed skills to push on with depression and anxiety. Then in 2020, my oldest daughter was murdered. I really thought I would struggle and have major setbacks; however, after almost 20 years of leaning on God, I found how to stand. Hearing others share their testimony; their stories gave me strength.
This podcast is designed to remind some and introduce others to our Gracious God. This is a place for people to share their testimony about how God has moved in their life. It is an opportunity for people to see what faith looks like in real life. It is not always sunshine and happy days. Faith does not exempt us from life. Often times we all have to be reminded of that.
This podcast is for anyone who needs to be encouraged. Our listeners are those who need a lift-me-up. A reminder to keep going to stay the course. Our listeners love being reminded of who God is and even those who are not sure who God is and just want to know more about God. Our listeners may not believe in Jesus, may just have met Jesus, or may have known of Him all their lives.

► Why & how did you start this podcast?
In 2021 a friend was diagnosed with prostate cancer and underwent treatment. I had first-hand knowledge of the challenges and struggles she endured. About a year later, my mother-in-law was diagnosed with cervical cancer. She shared her news with a few relatives, and the feedback was discouraging. Then she was searching the internet for information regarding cervical cancer, and that was worse. It reminded me of my friend's story. Then God put it on my heart to develop a Youtube channel with testimonies about real-life experiences and what the faith walk really looks like. So I asked my friend to do a video, and I shared it with my mother-in-law. After doing a few videos on different topics all testimonials, one of the videos only had audio; no video. It was God's way of saying stop skirting the issue and just do the podcast. It was something I had been putting off, but it was time. So now I am now to podcast, I just starting in 2023. As with most things when it is time though it is time. The same day I recorded my first podcast, I released it.

► How'd you find the time and funding to do this podcast?
Our podcast has two types of episodes: full interviews that are longer than 30 minutes and are released every two weeks, and mini-episodes that are quick and last between 4 to 10 minutes and are released weekly. It takes me around one to two days to produce an episode, depending on the depth of the content. Despite being new to podcasting and not yet having much technical expertise, I have found joy in this creative venture. As a retired individual with all my children in school during the day, I have ample time to dedicate to recording and producing content. Currently, the podcast is financially supported by our parent company, Bowman Moody Enterprises, which is a production company.
► What do you gain from podcasting?
At this time, we are not accepting sponsorships for our podcast. Our main goal is to showcase how faith is demonstrated in everyday life. We strive to spread the message of God's love and compassion for all people, no matter what challenges or uncertainties we may face. It brings comfort to know that He is aware of our circumstances and truly cares about our well-being. He sees us.
► How does your podcasting process look like?
When it comes to our podcasts, we put a lot of thought and effort into creating a high-quality production. Our choice of recording equipment includes Elgato microphones, which offer exceptional sound quality, and Wondershare recording software, which allows us to capture every detail of the conversation.
Finding the right guests is key to creating engaging content, and we use a variety of methods to reach out to potential interviewees. This includes relying on referrals from trusted sources, using social media to connect with influencers and experts in our field, and leveraging our own personal connections.
Before each episode, we invest time in researching our guests in order to tailor our questions and conversation style to their unique experiences and perspectives. We also carefully plan the overall layout and set design to ensure that our audience has an enjoyable viewing experience.

► How do you market your show?
Currently, our primary means of promoting our shows is through word-of-mouth recommendations and social media outreach. However, we are exploring the possibility of utilizing advertising placements to reach a wider audience and increase our visibility. As our podcast is still in its early stages, we do not have access to any analytics or data yet that would inform our advertising strategy. Nevertheless, we remain committed to finding innovative and effective ways to reach new listeners and grow our audience over time.
► What advice would you share with aspiring (new) podcasters?
Beginning a podcast may seem daunting, but it can be a fulfilling experience. Avoid putting it off and start recording as soon as possible. There is no need for complex software or extensive expertise. Each podcast is distinct to the individual, so simply cultivate your own style as you proceed.
