ОБ ЭТОМ ЭПИЗОДЕ
This week Marc chats to Australian comedian Tom Witcombe. They discuss Tom's penchant for writing killer gags and how he feels about being described as "flirting" with offensive, talk about the importance of addressing the elephant in the room in comedy, and Tom reveals why his background in advertising has actually been helped by doing stand-up rather than the other way round. Plus, Tom recounts what he noticed about the Edinburgh kids he encountered when working in a school there as a teen, they compare differences between both phrases and comedy in Australia versus the UK, and they share their views on self-help, with Tom introducing Marc to the niche of "fulfilment" over "achievement" culture.
