ОБ ЭТОМ ЭПИЗОДЕ
Full spoiler comedy review of Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022). Dylan, Scott, and Russell dig into Evelyn Wang's laundromat, her IRS audit, and the multiverse chaos that follows, and they do not agree on how good it is.
The guys compare the film's multiverse to Marvel's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and land on the same conclusion: a $25 million indie did more with the concept than a blockbuster budget. They break down the real emotional core of the movie, a mother trying to accept her daughter, talk through Ke Huy Quan's 20 year comeback story, and geek out over the hot dog fingers being a fully practical effect. Fun facts cover Michelle Yeoh's historic Best Actress win, the film's 7 Oscar wins tying Gravity's record, and a COVID shutdown that hit production with one day of shooting left.
