ОБ ЭТОМ ЭПИЗОДЕ
On today’s episode of Off the Roster, Dan Riccio, Lindsay Dunn, and Brent Albrecht recap a wild night at Scotiabank Arena, including Dan and Brent taking in the Maple Leafs game from PROLINE’s Most Interesting Seats in the House and Brent unexpectedly going viral after his sign made its way onto the broadcast. The crew breaks down everything from Toronto’s dramatic 5-4 overtime win over the Nashville Predators, as the Leafs erased a 3-0 deficit and battled all the way back to improve to 2-2-0 on the season. They discuss another difficult start for Toronto, John Tavares getting the comeback going, William Nylander delivering on the power play as part of a three-point night, Gavin McKenna breaking through with the first point and first goal of his NHL career, Jack Roslovic tying the game, and Auston Matthews taking over with a four-point performance before scoring the overtime winner with just 14 seconds remaining. Dan, Lindsay, and Brent look at what the comeback says about this Maple Leafs team, whether the concerns from their slow start are beginning to ease, the development of McKenna, Toronto’s second line, and the players who stepped up when the Leafs desperately needed a win. Plus, the crew goes around the NHL to discuss the biggest stories, performances, news, and developing storylines from across the league.
