ОБ ЭТОМ ЭПИЗОДЕ
Figure skaters are God on ice …
They jump and ware their fancy dress up
Man can’t match women’s outfits … can they?
Fans give them a thump up and standing ovation
Illia Malinin, just 21
… could jump unlike anyone
The quadruple axel
… The triple lutz
I paused …
He gets the extra jump all in half rotation
As fans from all nations will scream
Awaits to his magnificent jumps
Will he triumph or fail
He failed establishing
… to 8th
Instead of first place
What is a quadruple?
As you take off like a plane
Facing forward
… making the quad axel
A quad
… and a half
You got to have
More than extra energy

Ladies single figure skating
1976 Olympic gold …
Today as she reminiscence
How the sport has changed
Present in Milan, wished all the skaters
Their ultimate best, may the best win
Jumps and elements rated
+5, excellent and/or -5, poor
Alysa Liu, USA won scored 150.20
What happened score of 6.0, retired in 2006
Illia Malinin, favorite coming at 26
… no at 21 years of age finished 8th
Anything can happened
In the Olympics …
All angelic great sportsmanship …
They match that of the goddess
They skate …
Without debating
They pray not to fall
But, to win gold …
