Making a Scene Presents Gerry Casey's Interview with The StereoGang
THE Stereo Gang is a high-energy rock band from Kochi Prefecture, Japan, bringing the raw power of classic hard rock, the rebellious spirit of rock and roll, and the soulful foundations of the blues into a sound built for a new generation. Formed at Kochi University’s light music club, the band came together around vocalist Miu and a shared passion for music that feels immediate, physical, and unapologetically alive.
Drawing inspiration from the grit and swagger of traditional American rock, THE Stereo Gang creates music with the power of a roaring engine and the momentum of an open highway. Their sound is rooted in muscular guitar riffs, driving rhythms, blues-influenced grooves, and vocals that command attention. While their influences reach back through generations of rock music, the band approaches those traditions with a contemporary energy that makes the music distinctly their own.
