BIG GAME? Can Weigman, Houston Performance vs Kansas State DEFINE Big 12 Conference?

Houston Cougars face a pivotal Big 12 clash as they challenge favored Kansas State, with standout quarterbacks Conner Weigman and Avery Johnson set to shape the outcome. Can Houston's potent run game, led by Makhi Hughes and Re'Shaun Stanford, exploit Kansas State’s defensive vulnerabilities and maintain control of their destiny in the conference race?

Host Parker Ainsworth examines how third down efficiency, recent lineup changes—like the return of Stefon Johnson and Miles Rouser—and potential impacts of key injuries may tip the scales. The conversation focused on Willie Fritz’s history as a Kansas native, defensive adjustments under Austin Armstrong, and the importance of a strong start on the road in Manhattan. With playoff hopes hanging in the balance and major matchups against Oklahoma State and Utah ahead, will the Cougars seize this opportunity for a marquee win?
