ОБ ЭТОМ ЭПИЗОДЕ
In a world that's constantly telling us to trust the process, trust the experts, or trust someone else's roadmap, what if the greatest thing we could learn is how to trust ourselves?
In this episode of The Growth Now Movement, I sit down with coach, coach-trainer, and founder Tarryne West to explore why self-trust may be the most important skill we never learn—and why it's the antidote to fear.
Tarryne has spent over 16 years in what she calls the "Wild West" of the coaching industry, helping people create lasting transformation. But her journey didn't begin with confidence or clarity. It began with trauma, depression, anxiety, an eating disorder, and spending nearly two years homebound in New Zealand.
Everything changed when she discovered the work of Tony Robbins and realized that while she couldn't control everything happening around her, she could learn to influence her thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Within weeks, she was leaving the house and auditioning for a stage production—a moment that completely altered the trajectory of her life.
Today, Tarryne trains coaches around the world and teaches that self-trust isn't something you're born with—it's something you build through small promises you consistently keep with yourself.
We also dive into the rapidly growing coaching industry and discuss how to find a legitimate coach, why certifications aren't everything (but training matters), and what separates transformational coaching from surface-level advice. Tarryne explains why great coaches create agenda-free spaces that allow clients to uncover their own answers rather than simply telling them what to do.
If you've ever struggled with fear, self-doubt, anxiety, or wondering whether you're capable of creating meaningful change in your life, this conversation will remind you that transformation begins with trusting yourself.
