Episode Highlights

Here is what you can look forward to in this week's episode:

• San Diego Comic-Con Trivia: The show opens with a fun historical fact: the very first San Diego Comic-Con took place in August 1970! The hosts give a special shout-out to team member Doug for his non-stop coverage across social media throughout the event.

• CHOC Walk 2026 Final Countdown: It's the last chance to register or donate to Team Daps Magic for the upcoming CHOC Walk at chocwalk.org/dapsmagic. The team will be out bright and early before sunrise for the 5:15 AM opening ceremony to raise funds for the Children's Hospital of Orange County.

• Caption of the Week & Pixarmonic Nostalgia: This week's photo features a throw-back to Pixar Pier's Pixarmonic Orchestra and a mystery involving a trombone. The hosts step onto their soapbox to celebrate live park musicians and discuss why live bands in Pixar Pier made the land so special. Head over to DapsMagic.com to leave your entry and vote!

• SDCC Marvel Breakdowns & "MCU Take Two": Mr. Daps and Caitie Bear analyze the biggest news out of Hall H:

  • Avengers: Doomsday: Details from the exclusive Hall H trailer reveal Doctor Doom's origins tied to the Fantastic Four on Earth-828. The hosts discuss Tom Hiddleston's advice that Loki is essential viewing before Doomsday, the collision of three distinct timelines, Hayley Atwell's return, and whether Marvel is executing a full reset.

  • Black Panther 3 & Ghost Rider: News breaks on Black Panther 3 introducing T'Challa's son, plus Ryan Gosling stepping into the role of Ghost Rider with director Shawn Levy.

• Harry Larry's "Worth the Cost" List: Daps Magic's beloved penguin intern, Harry Larry, takes over the studio to list five things worth the cost to a penguin: a pebble engraver/polishing kit, a break-room mini espresso machine, a miniature banjo and flipper pick, a top hat and bow tie set, and a sports-broadcasting headset!

• Top 5 Things "Worth the Cost" at Disneyland Resort: Inspired by Harry Larry, the hosts draft their own list of high-value Disneyland expenditures:

  1. Lightning Lane Single Pass for your one absolute "can't-miss" attraction.

  2. Earl of Sandwich for incredible value, savory options, and famous cookies.

  3. The Right Pair of Shoes (whatever keeps your feet happy for 15+ hours).

  4. Dole Whip / Tropical Hideaway Treats for classic, refreshing Disney park flavor.

  5. 21 Royal as the ultimate bucket-list, multi-course private dining experience above Pirates of the Caribbean.

• Muppet Crossover Ideas & YouTube Highlights: The show concludes with live viewer comments, including a pitch for an Only Murders in the Building Muppets special set inside the Muppet Theater with guest stars like Martin Short, Paul Rudd, or Nathan Lane! Plus, Mr. Daps encourages viewers to check out his custom color-corrected Phantom Manor POV on YouTube.
