ОБ ЭТОМ ЭПИЗОДЕ
In Episode 48 of Constellation Networks' Hypergraph Hour, the team delves into the intricacies of their upcoming developments, offering a comprehensive look at what's on the horizon for the network. The episode features insights from Ryle Goehausen, a key player in the protocol's development, and Alex Rea, who is spearheading the developer ecosystem.
SDK Features and Roadmap
Ryle Goehausen kicks off the discussion by elaborating on the upcoming Software Development Kit (SDK) features. He clarifies that the immediate focus is on offering customization through the extension of consensus as a framework. This approach allows developers to pull in custom code and REST API queries, offering a high level of flexibility compared to fixed executive contracts.
The SDK, which is set to be released in Q1 2023, will support the same standard offered by Constellation and will include updates and upgrades consistent with the network. The goal is to extend this functionality to all other integrations, allowing developers to regain all the functionality invested in supporting the currency.
Developer Ecosystem
Alex Rea takes over to discuss the developer ecosystem, which refers to the community of developers building apps on top of the network. He highlights that the network will support multiple token standards for different use cases, including currency, identity, and various types of NFT use cases.
Alex also announces the opening of a new position on the core team - a Developer Advocate. This role will involve working directly with developers in the community to create tutorials, example apps, and ensure up-to-date and accurate documentation.
Building on the Network
Alex encourages developers to contribute by building something on the network. This could be a state channel or other projects. Developers are encouraged to use the open-source projects as a guide or a starting point. The goal is to have multiple competing wallets, explorers, and projects, and the team is ready to assist developers in any way they can.
Open Positions
The episode concludes with Alex announcing open positions on the core team, including protocol engineer, full-stack web 3 engineer, product manager, and roles in governance. These positions offer an opportunity for those with the right skill set to contribute directly to the growth and development of the Constellation Network.
The episode ends on a high note, with the team expressing their excitement for the upcoming year and the massive scaling opportunities that lie ahead. They look forward to growing in 2023 and encourage everyone to participate and follow along.
