ОБ ЭТОМ ЭПИЗОДЕ
2 Chronicles 14 explained. King Asa leads Judah in spiritual reform and discovers the power of trusting in God.
Asa removes foreign altars and idols, commands Judah to seek the Lord, and strengthens the kingdom’s fortified cities. When a vast Cushite army attacks, Asa cries out to God, acknowledging that victory depends not on numbers but on the Lord’s power.
God defeats the enemy, and Judah wins a remarkable victory.
2 Chronicles 14 teaches that seeking God, removing idols, and depending on His strength are essential to faithful living. Asa’s victory reminds us that no enemy is too powerful for God. His reign also points beyond Judah’s kings toward Jesus Christ, the greater King, whose kingdom rests on God’s power and faithfulness.
