ОБ ЭТОМ ЭПИЗОДЕ
Callaway and Good Good Golf are facing major backlash over a controversial driver commercial — but the craziest part may be that Callaway admits they approved it. Was it simply a bad joke that got taken too seriously, or should someone actually be held accountable?
In Barggianos Episode 85, we break down the “Do not touch my new driver” controversy, debate whether the fallout could change how major brands work with YouTube influencers, and ask how an ad like this made it through multiple levels of approval.
Then we get into the huge changes coming to the PGA Tour in 2028, including a new competitive structure, players potentially moving up and down between levels, and a postseason that could look more like March Madness-style match play.
That conversation quickly turns into a full-blown PBA rant about regional tournaments, rising costs, professional bowler pay, whether bowling is becoming too expensive for young talent — and the possible creation of the Barggianos Bowling Association. 😂
We also remember Dolly Parton, her incredible career, charity work, movies and music, and discuss why she seemed to be one of the rare celebrities almost everybody liked.
Grab a drink, ring the bell and hang out with Barggianos! 🍻
