ОБ ЭТОМ ЭПИЗОДЕ
This is the one where Bree (@bleach226) and Jess (@jesspkoehler) gush about how Sydney has bright red hair, how we're meeting all of our favorite characters for the first time, where we learn that Jack does NOT sell airplane parts, and the music is JUST SO ALIAS.
MUSIC: If you're streaming and want to line up the scenes with the original feature songs, here are the sound clips. Sydney & Danny at home (start at the track on 13:58): Play Never Grow Old by The Cranberries starting at 00:00; this song gets cut, so from the "do, do, do" it skips past the 2nd verse straight to "hope you never grow old" after the 3rd repetition, cut to "forever young" (Sydney turns up the stereo at "I hope you'll stay" -- I mean, can you even?!). Funeral scene (start just as it cuts to the funeral at 35:53): Play Here Comes The Flood by Peter Gabriel starting the song at 00:00. Final scene at the cemetery (start at 1:02:01 in the show): Play Give You Back by Vertical Horizon starting the song at 00:00. VIDEO: The YouTube clip discussing Alias that we reference, with the former CIA Chief of Disguise, starts here at the 1:42 mark in the video (or if your podcatcher doesn't show hyperlinks, visit: https://youtu.be/mUqeBMP8nEg?t=101). Note: There is a second clip from a later season of Alias from 23:17 - 24:24.
