McDonald's got a new album out. I can tell you now. It's terrible. She's trying to get the TikTok audience. They don't like her. She's not going to keep her original audience. They're not going to like it. So we won't get to Madonna rolling stones new album out. And You Too have got a new single out and it sounds like they're having good fun. Let's ever listen to you two's new singles. It's straight to dreams, classic edge guitar playing big anthem pop song.
00:01:16
Speaker 2: Are theyse good too?
00:01:18
Speaker 3: Yep, it's got all that classic hallmarks of you two, going back to sort of the Joshua Tree. Sounds like they're actually having good fun again because Bonno got a bit serious and a bit of a full up his own, you know, important man. Yeah. Yeah, so that's they reckon fifty years that will have been together in October. So they're predicting that this single will come out on the new album in October. So fifty years, fifty years of you too?
00:01:51
Speaker 2: Wow?
00:01:51
Speaker 3: Credible? Why well, sixty years of Rolling Stones? Yeah, incredible. So yeah, hey, now yesterday you probably would have I don't know if you talked about it on the show. Not fifty I think it was fifty seven years since the Apollo eleven moon landing nineteen sixty nine. Fifty seven years doing meet, Yeah, I think it is.
00:02:06
Speaker 2: Do you know where you were?
00:02:07
Speaker 3: You've probably very well. I wasn't actually thought of. I was born in seventy two, so yeah, neither was Grace. You wouldn't realize that, but sorry, I was. Yeah, you born? Where were you?
00:02:18
Speaker 2: I was? And my father was headmaster of a school yep, and he went and got me from the new entrance class and brought me into his office and we listened to it on the radio.
00:02:28
Speaker 3: I've got forever, yeah, I bet hey. So I thought, just for a bit of fun, give us a text. What's the text number, Nick ninety ninety two. Give us a text if you can think of any songs that have got the word moon or about the moon. Here's a sample of some and you have maybe some. Who's that King Harvest one, Yeah, I don't know, Credence, Bad Moon, Horizing, Yeah, for breaks, m Neil Young Harvest Moon.
00:03:03
Speaker 1: Ah, same being final by.
00:03:08

00:03:18
Speaker 2: This morning was amazing because I was thinking when you said that, I said, I can't even think of the song.
00:03:22

00:04:09
Speaker 2: I'm not a Stones fan, but I'm by the album.
00:04:15
Speaker 3: It's bluesy, it's honky tonky, you know, it's like it reminds me of that kind of era when from like the late sixties to about seventy two where they did biggest for Banquet. They did let It Lead, that had sticky fingers, They did Exile on Main Street. They were all banging. I should be quiet, but it was my yes, good.
00:04:42
Speaker 2: Like their own Stone.
00:04:44

Speaker 3: It's their twenty fifth studio album in the UK, but it's their twenty seventh studio album in the US. Go figure that. But it's to do with how they reworked albums and re release them in the U. Yes, so I mean these guys. The last album was Hackney Diamonds and we talked about it in twenty twenty three and it was an absolute cracker. Oh, big shout out here, we've got them, text them, big shout out to the new record shop and Left Bank Records are great and so they're live gigs and that is true Over the Hill Records. That dude in their Kurt, I think his name is fantastic. That just came in on the text machine. I love that record shop and the guy in there. He is an absolute diamond. And he had Deaf Heaven, who are a huge American band play in his store, little tiny little store at the back of Left Bank. Yeah, anyway, back to Rolling Stones. That's a good shout out. I like hearing things like that, and I love, as our listeners will know. I love record shops. I love creeps in Newtown. I love slow Boat Back to the Stones. Any criticisms, Well, it's just over an hour long. And I've always said on the show, I like albums that are usually thirty nine minutes. Don't I want, yeah, thirty nine minutes. 00:06:04
Speaker 2: Out on the phone for an hour, so I like to.
00:06:06
Speaker 3: Yeah, see, I like I like it about thirty nine. So I reckon there's about three songs on here. They could have canned. It's got. It's got guest appearances from Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Steve Winwood, Paul McCartney and Robert Smith of the Cure, but they didn't need any of them, just the stock standard rolling stones ripping it out. I'm going by it. They'll probably have it over the Hill Records and leave Bank on K Street. Yeah, we've got Hey, there's a cool thing this Sunday, Wellington Botanic Gardens soundshell Tootle three. They are recreating the iconic Cate Bush Dance. It is the most Wuthering Heights Day ever, pawn ecky. It is called look it up, Google search it and you get in your red dress and you go and recreate the Kate Bush Dance. That'd be great fun.
