We Wine Whenever (00:00.652)
Hi, welcome to We Wine Whenever. I'm Wendy. Tonight we're talking about Real Housewives of Potomac, Season 9, Episode Number 4. This is Karen versus everyone, drunk calls and more.
Kelli (00:03.016)
I'm Kelly.
We Wine Whenever (00:16.366)
So this was an interesting episode. I am liking Potomac this season. I really am. I really am. We start out with Karen and me are talking about the DUI. And Karen is saying that she can't talk about it until it settles. And this is where I'll find out who my real friends are, which, you they call Stacey to see where she's at and she doesn't answer.
Kelli (00:18.175)
This certainly was. Me too, me too.
We Wine Whenever (00:45.994)
Mia says to Karen in the car that Stacey is not interesting.
We Wine Whenever (00:54.188)
And then we see in the other car is Jazzy, Kierna and Ashley. And they're talking about their relationships like with their men. Kierna's man is Greg and he does, I didn't know he did mental health services. And she, yeah.
Kelli (01:09.391)
No, me either. We only saw him a little bit, right? When her mom was there pressing her about getting married. Is that her? Or was that Jassy? Yeah, I'm getting confused. I'm not gonna lie. I'm getting confused between the two of them.
We Wine Whenever (01:15.562)
Yes. Yes, that's key.
We Wine Whenever (01:24.744)
I am also, and sometimes I have to rewind to see if they put their name up because, and they don't. So I'm not a hundred percent sure. Wait. Well, then she also went on to say that she owns, she has her own med spa that kind of runs itself. Who has the med spa? Is that Jassy or Kiarna? Okay. then.
Kelli (01:31.006)
Right, right.
Kelli (01:42.653)
I think that's Kiarna. Yeah, because I think that that's how we met her. I think Wendy brought her in because Wendy went to her med spa. Right?
We Wine Whenever (01:50.033)
yes. Yes, yes, yes. Now it's clicking. Yes. Yes. So, yes.
Kelli (01:56.253)
with Candace, she but they went and had like cocktails with Candace.
We Wine Whenever (01:59.775)
That's right. And it was like down the street from something. Yes. Okay. So yes, it was definitely Kiana. So then in the other car is Wendy, Giselle and Jacqueline. And Wendy asks Giselle if she's resolved her issues yet with Karen. And she says she hasn't, that she does want to have a talk with her. And Wendy says, maybe you could do it before my birthday. So get this resolved today.
Kelli (02:02.473)
Yes.
Kelli (02:25.181)
I love that this is Mia's trip, but Wendy is, if she cannot say enough that it is her birthday, and I like Wendy, so I will let it slide. It's a little Heather Dubrowish.
We Wine Whenever (02:34.024)
It's so funny.
Well, honestly, it's a little Karen-ish because then, you know, like we'll talk about that, but it's like, come on. So the ladies all get to the place in Lake Norman and Mia announces that Lake Norman is a very special place to her because her and Inc got their first place together there when they were young. He got a job at another radio station. So they moved to, I guess, Lake Norman and they moved in together there.
Kelli (02:40.329)
That's true. That's true. Yeah. Yes. Yes.
We Wine Whenever (03:07.215)
I, you know, that's, we didn't know anything about that.
Kelli (03:11.121)
No, did she go into detail about like why they never got married?
We Wine Whenever (03:16.392)
No, no, I think we're just gonna find this out in dribs and drabs. That's how I feel at this point.
Kelli (03:19.763)
Yeah, yeah. It's just interesting. I, you know, I hope we find out if this was her high school sweetheart and then they went and got a place together. Like I hope we find out what happened that led her to, you know, not marry him and marry somebody else.
We Wine Whenever (03:26.472)
Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (03:36.519)
Right, I agree, I agree. And then they walk inside and the greeter greets them as welcome to Mia's manor, which I thought was interesting. I also thought it was interesting that they each had their own like person, like their own little concierge.
Kelli (03:54.557)
It was very Sex and the City 2 movie where they all have their own butlers and where'd they go? Dhabi?
We Wine Whenever (03:57.833)
We Wine Whenever (04:02.011)
Abu Dhabi. Yes, I like that. I would like my own little. Yeah. So they, the ladies start to go to their rooms and Giselle and Karen have their own room and they have their own sinks in their rooms, but they have to share a shower and a toilet.
Kelli (04:05.595)
I really liked it. Mia done good.
Kelli (04:22.377)
Did Karen not overreact to that shit? She's starting to annoy me quite honestly.
We Wine Whenever (04:25.224)
100 % like it
We Wine Whenever (04:30.127)
It made no sense.
Kelli (04:31.279)
No, that was absolutely ridiculous the way she responded to having to share a toilet with Giselle. Like, I'm sorry, that was ridiculous. And then something else that happens along the line in the episode, it was like, all right, bitch, you're not Michelle Obama, all right? Exactly, exactly. We all shit.
We Wine Whenever (04:38.642)
I know.
We Wine Whenever (04:49.052)
Like, listen, everyone poops. It's okay. I mean, I don't know. Yeah. Exactly.
then may have put Stacey and Kiarna in the bunk bedroom.
Kelli (05:08.223)
Stacey was so excited.
We Wine Whenever (05:09.727)
I give her like five stars for that. Stacey was such a breath of fresh air, so excited, never slept in a bunk bed, always wanted one. I was like, wow, good for her. She didn't really know Kiana, but she was excited to get to know her in this bunk room. I was like, this is what I would like to see.
Kelli (05:14.226)
Absolutely.
Kelli (05:22.357)
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Kelli (05:31.73)
Yeah.
Yeah, no, Stacey was great, but- Kiara didn't mind, right?
We Wine Whenever (05:38.982)
I mean, she minded less when Stacey jumped on board and was so excited about it. I think she was a little like, but then when Stacey was so excited about it, how could she not be excited about it? Right? Right. And then Wendy gets to her room and it's all decorated for her 40th birthday. And Karen's like throwing a fit about that. Like they never decorated my birthday and we've always had such a bad time with my birthday. And now we're going to throw it like, what? Why are
Kelli (05:45.108)
Yeah.
Kelli (05:49.941)
Exactly! Let's go!
We Wine Whenever (06:08.326)
Think it is about yourself.
Kelli (06:09.747)
You know what? Karen's getting that Teresa, Vicky, NeNe vibe where she thinks she is the show. It's not gonna be well received because it's just not well received. People can say what they want. These are ensemble cast. Everyone equally contributes the same. Some might stand out more than others, but if I'm starting to like Giselle, Karen is doing something wrong and I'm starting to like Giselle.
We Wine Whenever (06:16.793)
Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (06:27.141)
Mm-hmm.
We Wine Whenever (06:39.024)
And the interesting thing to me is who else's birthday have they really celebrated? I mean, it's Karen's every year. I mean, like, I don't think we've ever, have we ever celebrated Gisele's birthday? Or Ashley's? I feel like we've only celebrated Karen's every year.
Kelli (06:44.529)
Exactly. It is Karen's every year.
Kelli (06:49.789)
I don't think so.
Kelli (06:56.563)
And it's always Giselle throwing something for her. Right.
We Wine Whenever (06:59.526)
And she's complaining about it. I just can't with her.
Kelli (07:03.507)
Yeah, she's too much. She was too much this episode.
We Wine Whenever (07:07.344)
She really was. Ashley's room is on the first floor so that she can go outside and do her yoga in the morning and her little tiki-toks, they said, which is good. yeah, Ashley does tiktok dances all the time. We may not follow her. I mean, I see her. Yeah, we should follow her. And me and Jacqueline are sharing a room and there's a lot of buzz about that.
Kelli (07:18.109)
does she do TikToks?
Kelli (07:22.877)
she doesn't come up on our feed and TikTok. I'm gonna start.
We Wine Whenever (07:35.674)
I don't know why, I mean-
Kelli (07:36.083)
Well, I mean the one time they were on vacation weren't they like showering together?
We Wine Whenever (07:41.464)
Yeah, that Giselle pointed out. But I mean, why? Like, who cares? You know, there are gels.
Kelli (07:43.274)
Yeah.
Kelli (07:48.373)
Exactly. You do you.
We Wine Whenever (07:50.51)
Right. So then they all go downstairs and they start eating and they had this great buffet of food set out for them. Stacey shows up and
She says, I've traveled extensively all over the world with my soon to be ex-husband. And this is the first time I've traveled alone on a girl's trip. Like she's never been on a girl's trip, which I thought that was interesting, right?
Kelli (08:15.805)
Yeah, that is interesting. Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (08:21.219)
Also Giselle announces that in the early morning she has to leave to go back because Angel and Adore have some cap and gown ceremony. I guess that's not a graduation. I don't really know what a cap and gown ceremony is.
Kelli (08:36.381)
I've heard of it, but I don't exactly know what it is. We'd have to look it up.
We Wine Whenever (08:40.724)
Yeah, I guess we will look it up.
Kelli (08:42.675)
Yeah, I have definitely heard of it, but I don't think it's anything our kids have done for their graduations. Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (08:48.0)
Yeah, I had never heard of it before. Yeah. So she's flying out and then gonna go to the ceremony and then fly back the next day, which I will say that's a big commitment. Right? mean...
Kelli (08:56.607)
Well, that's commitment. Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (09:02.786)
then it comes up about, Jacqueline announces at the table that she doesn't want to be known as Mia's sidekick. I mean, you are sharing a room with her and she brought you on the show and she says that she is the main course. You know, she's a mom, she has a job. And then all of a sudden when Jassy comes in and says that she's Mia's new sidekick, all of a sudden.
Kelli (09:16.405)
she brought you on the show.
We Wine Whenever (09:32.597)
Jacqueline's like that maybe not so good because she said Jacqueline you have nothing to worry about I'm gonna be I'm gonna be your new sidekick It is a little like it is a little weird
Kelli (09:40.233)
Which is a little weird.
We Wine Whenever (09:46.1)
I think, but now Jacqueline wants to be the sidekick. Now that she wants it. Exactly.
Kelli (09:48.337)
Yeah, exactly Yeah, she might not want it, but she don't want anybody else to have it either, so she'll take it back Yeah Yeah, but what do you ladies what are you fighting over?
We Wine Whenever (10:01.416)
Mia, they're fighting over Mia. Yeah. I will never fight over being someone's sidekick. No, no. So they find out they're all going to be going on a boat. And she tells them to dress for dinner because as soon as they get back from the boat, they're going to be having dinner at the house. And she has some of her friends coming over. I think this is a little odd to go out on a boat dressed for dinner.
Kelli (10:02.584)
I mean, come on.
Kelli (10:09.069)
No!
Kelli (10:29.257)
Yeah. Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (10:31.326)
Because we know, we've been on boats, your hair gets blown all over the place. I mean, there's usually humidity involved. just not a dinner attire.
Kelli (10:41.277)
Yeah, it was like a pontoon boat and they don't go fast, but still, like you said, there's humidity on the water, there's water spritzing up. know, obviously these ladies take good care of themselves and they put a lot of effort into the way they look, especially when they're on camera. Like, who wants to get on a boat? Unless the boat was taking you to dinner.
We Wine Whenever (10:46.218)
They don't ghost.
We Wine Whenever (10:52.073)
Right.
We Wine Whenever (11:00.095)
Right!
We Wine Whenever (11:05.896)
Exactly. Exactly. No, I thought that was a little odd.
Kelli (11:07.539)
It wasn't.
Kelli (11:11.22)
Agree.
We Wine Whenever (11:16.448)
So then Karen and Jacqueline, so they get back from the boat ride and the table is set beautifully. And the guest arrived shortly after that and Mia announces the first girl was there that set it all up for her. I don't know if I wrote down her name.
Kelli (11:25.141)
Mm-hmm.
Kelli (11:37.439)
Do you think when these ladies host these girls weekends or whatever, know, girls getaways, like, do you think Mia did the planning for that or do you think production did?
We Wine Whenever (11:49.602)
I think it's.
Kelli (11:51.049)
Like, I mean like setting up the dinners and getting the boat ride. Like, did Mia make those phone calls? Or even if Mia has an assistant, are they doing this? Are they actually planning this? Or is production planning it and it's like, it's Mia's trip.
We Wine Whenever (12:05.824)
I think it's more production is planning it and it's Mia's trip. But when she's bringing in friends like that to help set it up and then to join the dinner, maybe it's like a collab. Like, okay, well, we're gonna be someplace where I have some friends. Let's bring in some guests and they can help Wendy celebrate her birthday. So there's more than just us there. So I mean, that's kind of what I think. no, I don't think that, because listen, even if they are arranging the boat,
Kelli (12:09.898)
Me too.
Kelli (12:19.23)
Right.
Kelli (12:22.846)
Right, right.
Kelli (12:28.874)
Right.
We Wine Whenever (12:34.72)
even if she was arranging the boat ride, production still has to go get clearance from everybody, right? So, you know, maybe they sit down and talk about what you want to do, or maybe production says, is what we're doing.
We Wine Whenever (12:48.96)
But it did look like a very nice setup.
Kelli (12:52.969)
Yeah, the other table was beautiful.
We Wine Whenever (12:57.61)
So Karen and Jacqueline, they sit down at the table and they're fighting at the table. I mean, they just got back and they're already fighting at the table. Karen says Jacqueline lied on her and she was not drunk when she spoke to her, referring to what happened at the birthday tea party. She had said that before Karen arrived because Mia blurted it out. It wasn't even Jacqueline's idea to say it.
Kelli (13:24.115)
Right.
We Wine Whenever (13:28.801)
And, you know, Jacqueline's like, no, you know.
Kelli (13:35.795)
I think that Jaclyn does a very good job of handling herself. Like I know she, I know, know we'll get there. I know she got upset, but I think that Jaclyn genuinely is a nice person and a good person. And I think that when she's faced with something, I think she handles it well. Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (13:57.32)
I do too. No, I do too. I do too.
so then Stacey and Karen are sitting down and they're talking and talking and Stacey invites to Karen that the closer that she gets into the mediation with her soon to be ex husband, the more nervous that she gets. And I think it was all the ladies were at the table at that point, or was it just her and Karen?
Kelli (14:27.859)
I think it was all of them.
We Wine Whenever (14:29.266)
Okay, so she's very worried about telling Arabella because they've not told her yet. And that's her biggest concern. I think it was just her and Karen, because then I Karen tell Stacey that, you know, she wants to be honest with her and that she's gotten some feedback from the girls. It was just that, yeah, it was just her. that, you know, Stacey's like, well, what's the feedback? And Karen says, well, you're boring. So here Stacey is opening up to Karen about how she's, you know, a little bit
Kelli (14:44.219)
that's right. Yes, it was just then. Yes.
We Wine Whenever (14:59.178)
anxious about the separation and the actual divorce and telling her daughter and instead of Karen like kind of give her advice or you know telling her it's gonna be okay I've gotta be really honest with you I've gotta let you know what the girls are saying. What?
Kelli (15:03.711)
Right.
Kelli (15:17.353)
Yeah. Yeah, that was a bad pivot on Karen's.
We Wine Whenever (15:20.851)
Yeah, really bad. Really bad. Karen says, well, it's just like the general, cause then she says, you know, they say that you're boring and Stacey seems surprised. She's like, well, who is saying this? And she's like, well, just the general consensus when really it was just Mia. Mia was the only one who said it.
Kelli (15:36.541)
It was just Mia. Yep.
We Wine Whenever (15:40.921)
Karen's just being, I don't know.
Kelli (15:43.219)
Yeah, it's not a good look for her. You know, it's so interesting how these housewives can have such a good season and then such a bad season. Because I don't think Karen, I think Karen, and look at, listen, it's interesting that she and Shannon are both coming off of DUIs in their simultaneously playing seasons. And look at the difference, like.
We Wine Whenever (15:45.356)
No!
We Wine Whenever (15:50.743)
Yeah, it really is.
We Wine Whenever (16:06.317)
Yes.
Kelli (16:10.495)
Karen is not only not really acknowledging, and again, she can't say too much, but Shannon is being very humble about her situation. Karen is not being humble at all. Not only is she not being humble, she's like stirring shit up with everybody else. Like deflecting, deflecting, deflecting. Shannon is not doing that. Shannon's just like defending herself really because Tamra's the one who's doing that. But.
We Wine Whenever (16:27.351)
Exactly.
We Wine Whenever (16:36.365)
Yes.
Kelli (16:37.322)
It's such a vast difference between the two of them dealing with the same thing.
We Wine Whenever (16:41.325)
And I think honestly, the reason that is, is because of the cast that surrounds them. Because if Tamar wasn't coming for Shannon, and Alexis wasn't on, it was just a firestorm for her. I mean, who's gonna come for Karen besides Gisele?
Kelli (16:47.892)
Yeah.
Kelli (16:56.489)
Yeah.
Kelli (17:00.585)
Right now, not one of them. Ashley, Ashley. She's not strong enough though.
We Wine Whenever (17:02.347)
Right? Ashley, maybe, but you know, Ashley's like, you know, she's like a little, like a little cat. She's not like a lion like Gisele, you know?
Kelli (17:11.347)
Yeah, right. Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (17:15.299)
So then Stacey asks, who are you the closest with? And she says, I know that there was some sort of situation with Ashley. Feels like Ashley is the queen of the aftermath apology, but it's still in the courts. So Karen said that, but it's still in the courts. I honestly don't remember why that, mean, Ashley and Karen were close at one time.
Kelli (17:33.365)
Who said that, Karen? Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (17:43.949)
But maybe since the DUI, there are no longer.
Kelli (17:47.901)
I think that a couple of seasons ago Ashley positioned herself with Giselle and Robin.
We Wine Whenever (17:53.261)
which is L, yeah. I agree with that, I do agree with that.
Kelli (17:56.659)
Yeah. And then last year it was Karen, Candice and Wendy.
We Wine Whenever (18:01.282)
Yes.
So Ashley says, Mia, you posted for Mother's Day this beautiful photo of you and Gordon and Inc. and the children. Was that here? Were you guys all together under the same roof? And she says, yeah. She said, Mia and Gordon are still married. And once again, Giselle and Karen jump in and they're like, I think it's too much for the children. I think it's confusing. Well, why don't you worry about your own children?
Kelli (18:30.227)
Exactly.
We Wine Whenever (18:32.023)
Who are they to judge that?
Kelli (18:33.521)
Exactly. Maybe it was confusing for your kids, Giselle, when they had their father, who you've been divorced from for years, showing up, spending the weekends with you, and then all of a sudden Jason, who's 20 years younger than you, was coming and staying with you for the weekends. Maybe that was confusing for your kids.
We Wine Whenever (18:49.644)
Exactly.
Kelli (18:51.099)
Nobody said that to you. So mind your business.
We Wine Whenever (18:54.691)
Yeah, especially considering all that Jamal has been involved in. I mean, all the affairs, all the scandals.
Kelli (18:59.005)
Right.
Yeah!
We Wine Whenever (19:04.937)
mean, craziness, like how is she throwing shade? mean, Mia's being, she knows about it. It's not like she's doing it behind his back.
Kelli (19:10.803)
Great. If anything, they're doing it all out in the open. Like everything's out in the open. So there are no questions. So, you know, hopefully they did sit them down and we're like, listen, mommy and daddy aren't in love anymore. You know, we're not going to be together anymore. You know, Inc is part of mommy's life and you know, we're just going to try to do the best and all be together. Done. I mean, I can't imagine any of those conversations are easy, you know.
We Wine Whenever (19:31.831)
Right, right.
We Wine Whenever (19:38.039)
No.
Kelli (19:38.205)
I know we know people who've gotten divorced and I know how conversations have gone with their kids and it's very sad, but they're being open and honest about it and her kids seem, her kids seem good. Mia's kids seem good.
We Wine Whenever (19:49.933)
They do. And even Mia says like, you know, Gordon's, Gordon's moods and his, the way he behaves is, it varies. So sometimes he's really good with it and other times he's agitated. And then they're asking questions about the medication. Well, like, does the medication fix it? you know, like once he's in a good place, that mean? No, it's not. It's a fluid situation. This is a fluid, right. This is a fluid situation and they're dealing with it as a family. And
Kelli (20:02.879)
Right.
Kelli (20:11.891)
Right. Some days are good, some days are bad.
We Wine Whenever (20:19.041)
Really, it's none of your business.
Kelli (20:20.797)
Exactly, mind your business.
We Wine Whenever (20:25.059)
So then,
Stacey says that she has not been intimate with TJ because he is a devout Catholic. And Giselle announces that she has not been intimate with anyone for a year. And everyone seems very surprised about that. I would, yeah, I would think so. know, listen, her father did pass away. You know, her girls are going off to college. You know, she does have a lot going on in her life.
Kelli (20:45.077)
Probably Jason was the last one, right?
Kelli (20:51.764)
Yeah.
Kelli (20:57.523)
Yeah, she's got other things to focus on.
We Wine Whenever (20:59.285)
Right, exactly, exactly. So, you know, it's not surprising. And then Stacy asks, you know, who in the group called me boring? And Mia said, well, I just said that you weren't that interesting.
We Wine Whenever (21:21.503)
that's who it was. Mia's friend Dom is the one who put the whole celebration together there for them, like the dinner.
Kelli (21:29.417)
Is that the one that went out with she and Karen in DC? That's the other one. Joy, that's my joy.
We Wine Whenever (21:33.254)
No, no, that was joy. That was joy. That was joy.
We Wine Whenever (21:42.362)
So Giselle asks if she can talk before she leaves. know, and you know, cause they said, yeah, she said, listen, you know, I had an event, she pulls Karen aside to have this conversation. She talks to Karen. She's like, you know, I had this event planned, you know, and I feel like I've been trying to be the utmost friend to you and I don't feel like I'm getting it back. You know, I had this event planned. You knew about it. You knew it was for awareness for.
you know, my father in honor of my father. you know, Giselle says, I think that, you know, in moving forward, like you need to be straight with me. Like we need to, you know, we need to be there for each other. And I agree with Giselle. She's like, I think I've been there for you. And I do believe that Giselle has been trying, but that whole move that Karen pulled the day of the event and, you know, it was shady. It was shady.
Kelli (22:29.331)
Yes.
Kelli (22:34.921)
That was rough. That was really rough.
We Wine Whenever (22:38.189)
And honestly, Karen didn't own any part of it, even during that conversation.
Kelli (22:42.075)
Not at all. Not at all.
We Wine Whenever (22:44.439)
And yeah, it's sad because I feel like Gisele just said, okay, we're just gonna move forward. We'll be honest with each other, but there was no resolution. There was no accountability. And I think the more we see this season, we're gonna see a lot of that though with Karen.
Kelli (22:55.444)
nothing.
Kelli (23:01.033)
Yeah, and I think Gisele backs off completely.
We Wine Whenever (23:03.545)
Yeah. So then we meet Rachel, Ashley, and Joy, a different Ashley, and these are Mia's friends, and they've arrived to help celebrate Wendy's birthday. And Mia tells the girls to go around the table and introduce themselves and tell them a funny story about Mia. So one of her friends says, the best funny story was ink licking her toes. What?
Kelli (23:29.267)
at like a dinner table, right?
We Wine Whenever (23:31.983)
thought they were on vacation someplace. Was that a dinner table? Yes, yes, yes. Yes, it was on a boat. I don't know. I did not need to hear that. I really did not need to hear that.
Kelli (23:33.993)
Yeah. on a yacht, on a yacht. But I think she said they were at a table.
Kelli (23:44.635)
No, you could do that behind closed doors, people. The licking of the toes.
We Wine Whenever (23:49.391)
And then Mia says the funniest story is that you got that you guys don't know this but Joy and myself and Karen went out in DC one night and when you left Karen you butt dialed us and you want to know what you said and Karen and everyone's like and Karen is just no what did I say she had no idea Karen said no what did I say you said those girls think I'm out with Ray and I'm not
Now that, that was a mic drop moment. And what surprised me about that is that first of all, I thought Mia was good with Karen. So why are you throwing her under the bus like that?
Kelli (24:19.519)
That was crazy.
For sure.
Kelli (24:37.005)
I don't know. Well, probably because she keeps bringing up the fact that Mia's kids might not be okay and Mia's not being a good mom, basically, with what she's doing. So maybe this was retaliation. And I don't blame her.
We Wine Whenever (24:53.735)
Listen, I don't blame her either, but, and maybe too because she had all those other girls there to support her. You know, if she's ever gonna come down on Karen, I mean, that was the perfect place to do it.
Kelli (24:55.636)
I really don't.
Kelli (25:07.603)
Yeah, because Giselle and Ashley have been saying for years ever since Charice at Old Blue Eyes.
We Wine Whenever (25:13.522)
Yeah, I wonder who it was. And you had said that you had heard something about that there was somebody else involved, right?
Kelli (25:24.306)
Yeah, no you said it
We Wine Whenever (25:26.46)
No, said that there was, I said that the, Peter Kantz, yes.
Kelli (25:29.335)
you said they found beer cans and you said Karen doesn't strike me as a beer drinker. And I said, wouldn't it be interesting if somebody was in the car with her?
We Wine Whenever (25:34.897)
Right.
Yeah. I do think that that would definitely be in the police report, which is public information. So we probably would have known that. Right.
Kelli (25:46.249)
Yeah.
They can hide those though. Who are we? How have we been talking? Who are we talking about in the police? Margaret and her son.
We Wine Whenever (25:54.064)
Margaret, right. Well, I think there's, you know, in certain terroristic threats or domestic situations, they can be sealed.
Kelli (26:03.303)
Yeah, because this would be like a state of, you know, state of, is it Delaware? Is Potomac in Delaware? No. Maryland? Yeah, it would be the state of Maryland versus Karen Huger. So that probably would be public record. Yeah, like Margaret's is something totally different.
We Wine Whenever (26:10.89)
Maryland.
We Wine Whenever (26:19.24)
Yeah, I mean, I think, right, exactly, exactly.
Kelli (26:26.857)
Wow.
We Wine Whenever (26:27.046)
Because there was nobody else involved in the car accident. was no other cars. Right. Right.
Kelli (26:30.855)
No, there was no other vehicle. Which is crazy.
We Wine Whenever (26:36.68)
I mean, thank God there was no other vehicle.
Kelli (26:39.06)
Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (26:40.702)
I don't know, I'm curious to see how this whole thing plays out.
Kelli (26:43.303)
me too. Because that's where it ends, right?
We Wine Whenever (26:45.364)
That's where it ends. That's all we got. We got nothing else after that.
Kelli (26:47.445)
So we don't even see Karen's response yet.
We Wine Whenever (26:50.236)
No, but we see her face drop.
Kelli (26:53.587)
Yes.
We Wine Whenever (26:53.682)
She's gonna go off. She's just gonna go off.
Kelli (26:57.766)
She is gonna go off.
That's going to be real interesting.
We Wine Whenever (27:03.272)
I'm looking forward to it to be quite honest with you.
Kelli (27:05.447)
Me too, because I want to know like has this guy really been around for this long? Has she been creeping on Ray for this long? Is this really true? I like Ray.
We Wine Whenever (27:14.602)
But listen, know, maybe Ray knows.
Kelli (27:18.933)
I'm sure Ray is well aware.
We Wine Whenever (27:20.66)
Like, you know, maybe Ray's got his own side piece. Right? Maybe.
Kelli (27:23.071)
Side piece, Gommad. I saw an upcoming scene for OC, which is starting to annoy me, with your previews and blind items and bullshit, but I did see a preview for tomorrow night's episode.
We Wine Whenever (27:44.905)
Yes.
Kelli (27:46.569)
where it's, they're at a party and Emily is confronting Katie about the story when her Katie's daughter, Kylie babysat the boys. And basically they're both saying like, you know, my kid didn't say that, you know, is my kid lying or is your kid's lying about, but my point of bringing it up is that Heather completely hijacks the conversation.
We Wine Whenever (27:55.465)
her daughter.
Kelli (28:14.887)
And poor Emily is like trying to get her point out and Heather starts talking and totally hijacks it and then Katie and Heather are talking and poor Emily is still like trying to get out her thoughts and it's, she can't.
We Wine Whenever (28:33.098)
That's unfortunate.
Kelli (28:33.363)
I can't believe it. It's crazy.
We Wine Whenever (28:36.756)
That's unfortunate. Was it a clip from Hey You, H-A-Y-U?
Kelli (28:42.813)
I don't remember.
We Wine Whenever (28:44.234)
So I think I had mentioned this a couple weeks ago when we were, I kept saying I was seeing these extended like clips and stuff and I couldn't remember the name of the, who it was and it says H-A-Y-U. I'm not sure exactly how you pronounce it, but I just found out this week it is like it's owned by Peacock, NBC Universal. It's a streaming platform in Europe.
Kelli (29:08.842)
We Wine Whenever (29:10.442)
So they're trying to, so, and remember I said it's probably from another country, like it gets released at different times. So, because that interview that I saw with Jessel was on that same platform where she was talking about, you know, how the season, you know, with the trip. So they have this other streaming platform that is in Europe. Maybe it's all over Europe, but I don't know, why wouldn't you just use Peacock? I don't understand that.
Kelli (29:14.771)
Yeah. Right.
Kelli (29:26.621)
Yes. Right.
Kelli (29:37.587)
Yeah, I don't know. I know.
We Wine Whenever (29:39.754)
I'm sure it's a money play. I'm sure there's money or money raisin involved with that. But I thought that was interesting. cause I was always, I'd look at these things and I'm like, this is actual footage. Like this is not like a bootleg. This is not the, and it's before we see it. So I bet you that's, I bet you that's what you saw it on. I bet you it was streaming from that platform who puts these teasers out.
Kelli (29:41.546)
I'm sure. I'm sure. Yeah.
Kelli (29:54.677)
Yeah.
Probably.
Kelli (30:01.919)
Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (30:03.55)
And they're long teasers.
Kelli (30:05.129)
Yeah, yeah, it was a pretty long clip. Because Heather and Katie are talking to each other. And I think somebody else was standing there, not saying anything, but fucking Heather, man, totally hijacks the conversation. I'm like, and Emily's still trying to get her point out and she just can't.
We Wine Whenever (30:07.69)
Right.
We Wine Whenever (30:18.27)
Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (30:26.803)
It's unfortunate.
Kelli (30:28.287)
But I will say this, Katie is not backing down from Heather. At all. And good, good for you. Maybe that's why Jen and Katie are such a dynamic duo, because they are really speaking up for themselves.
We Wine Whenever (30:42.526)
Yeah, and good for them. Like, let's switch it up a little bit. Right?
Kelli (30:45.529)
Absolutely, absolutely. Because Heather will just leave the show. If Heather doesn't feel like she's Queen Bey, she's just gonna leave the show, and that's fine. She doesn't need it. I think she likes a camera in her face, and this is the only chance she's getting for it. But, yeah, but Tamra will not farewell if she's not on the show.
We Wine Whenever (30:50.45)
Right, she doesn't need it.
We Wine Whenever (31:02.113)
she definitely likes a camera in her face.
We Wine Whenever (31:11.632)
I did listen to, I tried to listen to her podcast today, her and Teddy. I don't even remember what they were talking about. I just really have a hard time listening to her podcast anymore. I just can't do it.
Kelli (31:23.773)
Yeah, cause did you see she came out and was like complaining about all the hate she's getting online?
We Wine Whenever (31:30.832)
Yeah, yeah, she was talking about that on her podcast.
Kelli (31:33.629)
Yeah, like sorry, Tamra, but you were you're part of that hate for other people
We Wine Whenever (31:37.992)
Yeah, she's like, Teddy said maybe you should go on Potomac. Maybe you'd be better liked on Potomac. I'm like, no.
Kelli (31:46.983)
No, people don't like you because of what you're doing, not because of where you live.
We Wine Whenever (31:52.575)
I just, don't know. I don't know how much longer she's gonna last on this show. I really don't.
Kelli (32:00.487)
I don't think they're bringing her back.
We Wine Whenever (32:02.249)
I'd be very surprised. I'd be very surprised.
Kelli (32:04.369)
I would too. Because again, I don't, she doesn't have what Teresa has. She doesn't have people blindly defending her all the time. She doesn't have it. And I really think that that, cause people have been calling for Teresa to be fired for years, but she's got such a fan base that they won't do it, which that's okay. I get that. Tamara doesn't have it.
We Wine Whenever (32:27.297)
It's interesting because I had said that and someone in one of our comments said, no, I still like Tamar because I said I haven't seen a single, did you see that one?
Kelli (32:37.819)
Yeah, I knew it was you who commented, but you were like, you're the first person who's said, yeah, yeah.
We Wine Whenever (32:42.099)
Yeah. And even Tamar was saying that she's not getting that much hate. There are people that still like her. That's what she was saying. I was like, yeah.
Kelli (32:52.553)
She said that the hate is 3 % of the fans and that is bad math, Tamara. You might have 3 % of the people saying they want you back and you're doing a good job. And 97 % are saying you should go.
We Wine Whenever (32:58.888)
Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (33:04.811)
Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (33:08.649)
I also saw, I'm sure you saw this, that Teresa turned down Deadpool, the commercial, because Melissa had already signed onto it. Who does that? I mean, talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face.
Kelli (33:14.729)
The commercial.
Kelli (33:19.252)
Yeah.
Kelli (33:25.141)
She probably thought if she said no, they would have fired Melissa and hired her. Like she probably gave them an ultimatum and said, I'll do it, but I'm not doing it with Melissa. And they were like, okay. Teresa does not understand that Melissa is just as big of a reality TV. But by the way, ladies, you're reality TV stars. Let's not get this twisted. Which is commendable in its own right, but you are reality TV stars and Teresa, Melissa is just.
We Wine Whenever (33:37.045)
I mean that.
We Wine Whenever (33:45.601)
Mm-hmm.
Kelli (33:54.069)
as big of a reality TV star as you are now. It wasn't always like that, but it is now. And quite honestly, you constantly talking about her and trash talking her is making her an even bigger star. That's my personal opinion.
We Wine Whenever (33:58.71)
Yeah.
We Wine Whenever (34:10.283)
She does still have those loyal followers. She does.
Kelli (34:13.589)
Absolutely, absolutely, but Melissa has just as many, I feel like.
We Wine Whenever (34:20.267)
I feel like, no, I agree. I mean, they both have very loyal followers. They really do. They really do.
Kelli (34:24.295)
Yeah. I don't think you can say one is bigger than the other right now.
We Wine Whenever (34:31.507)
I don't know. I feel like it's like the election. Like who's going to win? You know I'm saying?
Kelli (34:36.529)
It is probably like the election, yeah. Did you see that on Teresa's podcast, she's blaming Margaret for the demise of the show? I can't believe she's still talking about Margaret. And she's saying that Margaret sabotaged Danielle Staub's wedding to Marty, marriage to Marty.
We Wine Whenever (34:45.665)
Of course, why would she own anything? I mean...
We Wine Whenever (34:50.739)
Right. Right.
We Wine Whenever (34:58.389)
Yeah, okay.
We Wine Whenever (35:01.983)
That's crazy town.
Kelli (35:03.445)
Seriously, she's got to stop talking about them. They don't talk about her They just don't We listen to the podcast they don't need to that's the point See, I think Teresa thinks she's doing something by trash-talking them and what she's doing is the opposite of what she's intending on doing
We Wine Whenever (35:08.246)
No they don't.
No, they don't. They don't need to. No, they don't.
We Wine Whenever (35:26.5)
I agree with that. Did you see, did you listen to Vinny Guadagnino's podcast? So he went to MSG, the Trump rally at MSG and he was talking about it. you know, I, I've only seen clips of it. really haven't seen it, but he was talking about, you know, the reason he went is, he really, he loved the lineup, you know, Tucker Carlson,
Kelli (35:32.178)
Not this week.
We Wine Whenever (35:57.116)
Dana White, Elon Musk, like all the speakers that were there. Not so much that dumb comedian, but all the speakers. I don't know. I don't know.
Kelli (36:06.631)
is this comedian? And are they the ones that said something insulting about Puerto Rico? Okay, so I have a friend, I graduated high school, and he's half Puerto Rican, but he's huge Trump supporter. And he went on Facebook and was basically like, people, it was a fucking joke. I'm half Puerto Rican, like get over it.
We Wine Whenever (36:12.428)
Yes, it was the comedian. It was a comedian.
Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
We Wine Whenever (36:24.58)
Right. Right. Right. And there was, I saw many Puerto Rican people that were there saying the same thing. Like it was a joke.
Kelli (36:31.303)
Yeah, I don't know who the comedian is. I don't know what the joke was.
We Wine Whenever (36:34.735)
I don't know. So he said, the comedian said, you know, there's this like island full of garbage, like in the middle of the ocean, you know, it's called Puerto Rico. And the woman that I saw on TikTok who was there defending it, she's like, there is a garbage issue in Puerto Rico. My family lives there. It's, it's an aunt. She's like, I kind of thought it was funny. It was appropriate. Like there is an issue with sanitation there. They don't have a place to put it and it's all over the place. So it was a joke though.
Kelli (36:53.343)
is
Kelli (37:00.837)
that's terrible. But it's a comedian making a joke, so yeah. He made a joke about a terrible situation and that is what comedians do.
We Wine Whenever (37:05.454)
That's what they do. That's what they do. Right. But I thought it was interesting because Vinny actually in his podcast, he was breaking down like everybody he's voted for. He's like, I'm a registered independent. He's like, I voted for Hillary. I voted for Barack Obama. I'm voting for Trump. He told us every single person he's ever voted for. He's like, and I don't, he goes, it's not about the party. It's about
what's going to happen. You know, it's not about the party. And it's a good podcast. I recommend that you listen to it. I recommend that our listeners listen to it too. I like Vinny. You know what? He's honest and he's a smart guy. I didn't realize he was a political science major. That's what he went to school for.
Kelli (37:40.755)
I'll listen to it.
Kelli (37:44.967)
I do too.
Kelli (37:50.975)
He's very, very smart and he reads a lot.
We Wine Whenever (37:54.456)
Yeah. Yeah. And then I
Kelli (37:56.711)
I'm the same way. I'm not registered as any and I've, I've voted Democrat and I voted Republican. don't, Eric's the same way. We're not one party. We just vote for who we think will do the best job.
We Wine Whenever (38:07.801)
Yeah. And then who was saying today? So Lala was saying today on Lala's podcast, she's never said and never will say who she votes for. She will never tell anybody. And I was like, that's good too. Like it's, you're right. If you want to tell, you tell. If you don't want to tell, you don't have to tell.
Kelli (38:17.583)
For her. Absolutely.
Kelli (38:24.629)
And nobody should ask you. And if they ask you and you don't want to say, don't say. you know what I mean?
We Wine Whenever (38:30.9)
Right, right. Like no one should ever ask a woman their age or their weight or if you're changing it to something else before you go out. Don't ask someone if those are your real teeth. These are real things that have been said. I'm not going to mention who's asked these questions. Don't ask me.
Kelli (38:35.785)
That's right.
Kelli (38:41.865)
was great.
Kelli (38:53.973)
or you're have to tell me after who the teeth one was meant for, but.
We Wine Whenever (38:57.72)
Don't ask someone how much was their car? What did you pay for your house? How much was this? Don't ask these questions. Don't ask who you're voting for. It's nobody's business. Yeah, it's nobody's business.
Kelli (39:04.369)
Right. Right. We don't discuss finances.
Kelli (39:11.399)
Yeah, it's nobody's business. Good for Lala. I was wondering why I saw one of Vinny's posts on Instagram. I guess somebody sent him like a nasty message about, I did not realize that he openly admitted that he was voting for Trump, but somebody sent him like a really nasty message and he put it on his Instagram and he was dancing to it or something.
We Wine Whenever (39:26.412)
He did.
We Wine Whenever (39:31.607)
So I saw the dancing like the he Was like the Beyonce it was like dancing to a Beyonce song. Yes. Yes because you know Beyonce Endorsed Kamala. So he yes, I mean, this is why I like Vinny. This is why you know, I like you know, I like people who can be real I like people who can joke about things. You know what not everything needs to be so serious all the time right
Kelli (39:38.641)
Ye- yes, yes.
Kelli (39:45.587)
Yes.
Kelli (39:49.126)
Absolutely.
Kelli (39:54.279)
Yeah. Yeah.
Kelli (39:59.655)
Right. Absolutely.
We Wine Whenever (40:01.822)
Not everything doesn't need to be political. We can have two different opinions on something and still be civilized and still be okay.
Kelli (40:11.165)
And here's your PSA.
We Wine Whenever (40:13.613)
for today, great. What's our PSA for today?
Kelli (40:15.879)
No matter what the outcome of the election is, let's all be mature adults, accept it, and move on.
We Wine Whenever (40:23.378)
Mm-hmm. Exactly. But by the way, if you say you're gonna leave the country, if somebody wins and they win, then leave the country. That's another PSA. Right?
Kelli (40:32.489)
Yeah, yeah, I totally agree. And I know people on both sides who are saying they'll lead the country if this one wins or that one wins. Absolutely, peace. Yep, peace out. Right, no, certainly not either one of the candidates, because they don't give a shit about any of us, by the way. Neither one of them do.
We Wine Whenever (40:39.604)
Yeah, yeah, go, go leave, leave. And who's gonna miss ya? Nobody, nobody, go. I don't know about that. I don't know about that.
Kelli (40:58.525)
I don't think politicians really have our best interests at heart, if somebody can prove me wrong, prove me wrong. That's why I don't claim to be one party or the other and I just vote for whoever I think is gonna do the best job. They don't know me, they don't care about me or my struggles, so.
We Wine Whenever (41:13.149)
Right.
Right, Exactly.
Kelli (41:18.377)
But really people, don't, let's not have a revolt if one side wins or the other. It is what it is. We'll just accept it and move on wherever you think it.
We Wine Whenever (41:21.797)
No, please, let's not.
Yeah, like we've done every other time, right? Yeah, let's just keep moving. Just keep moving. Just keep swimming. So I think that's it. I was going to ask our listeners if they have questions for us, if they could email us questions and maybe we can answer questions next time. Yeah, you can email us at wewinewhenever at gmail.com.
Kelli (41:28.949)
for hundreds of years. Let's keep moving. Yeah. I was thinking that in my head as you said it.
Alright.
Kelli (41:48.959)
That'd be great.
Kelli (41:54.869)
Mm-hmm.
We Wine Whenever (41:55.506)
Any questions, we'll read your question and we'll answer them.
Kelli (42:00.283)
or DM on Instagram.
We Wine Whenever (42:02.29)
Yep, or can DM us on Instagram, or we are also on Facebook, TikTok, YouTube. We're not on Twitter though, so do not try and get us on Twitter. I'm sorry. We can't, yeah, the X. haven't really, you know, that's not our thing. Sorry, we're Gen X, but we don't X. It's just too much, it really is. Until next time, bye.
Kelli (42:04.585)
Mm-hmm.
Kelli (42:14.655)
We're not on the X.
Kelli (42:19.699)
Yeah. That's right. It's too much. It's too much with the social media.
Kelli (42:30.633)
Bye.
Bye.
