Wanderfool | Yu Pheng Ep. 19: Peace Above the Trees | D&D 2024

WEBVTT
00:00:01.280 --> 00:00:02.560
What's up, Wonders?
00:00:02.640 --> 00:00:03.839
It's your DM Jackie.
00:00:03.919 --> 00:00:05.919
It's Wagnew, your favorite elf bard.
00:00:08.160 --> 00:00:10.720
And it's the Black Sky, your sorcerer.
00:00:10.800 --> 00:00:12.320
And I'm Lee the Ranger.
00:00:12.480 --> 00:00:15.759
Alrighty, without further ado, let's get into it then.
00:00:56.560 --> 00:01:05.920
Last time, you all came face to face with a mysterious ranger named Li Phil Ron, who had soon proved to be a powerful ally.
00:01:06.400 --> 00:01:12.000
The currents of the Deja River were strong, but you were all determined to make it across.
00:01:12.959 --> 00:01:19.120
Wagnu used your flu to ask the water a question, with it guiding you to where the path ends.
00:01:19.519 --> 00:01:26.480
The plan formed quickly as Li suddenly takes hold of the black sky and teleports to the other side.
00:01:27.040 --> 00:01:34.560
Shusui fired an arrow of a rope attached into a tree across the river, with sky reassuring its dirtiness.
00:01:34.959 --> 00:01:42.799
Shusui, your experience shown as you nimbly walked across the rope, rot in hand, despite the raging waters beneath you.
00:01:43.519 --> 00:01:50.400
Wagnu, on the other hand, slipped and nearly fell, but through sheer effort he managed to pull himself across as well.
00:01:52.079 --> 00:01:55.840
On the far side stood a sign written in Celestial.
00:01:56.319 --> 00:02:03.519
Unable to read it, the sky caught upon the edge of dawn, which revealed what lay ahead of the runner in the city of England.
00:02:03.760 --> 00:02:07.920
As Wagnu stepped forward, a warning echoed in Sky's mind.
00:02:08.240 --> 00:02:17.759
Two ethereal figures appeared, the former guardians of earth and water, Lowok until I Renji was nowhere to be seen.
00:02:18.400 --> 00:02:21.919
The battle was fierce, but his strength prevailed.
00:02:22.560 --> 00:02:26.080
Lee blinked across the battlefield, striking weak wings with his bow.
00:02:28.319 --> 00:02:30.479
Immovable like the mountain itself.
00:02:31.039 --> 00:02:35.520
Wagnu fought beside him, a rainbow blade flashing along the side of frost.
00:02:36.000 --> 00:02:44.400
The edge of dawn asserted its will, forcing his god to fight with it as a sought, unsuccessfully to devour the guardian souls.
00:02:45.840 --> 00:02:50.240
As the battle came to an end, the light was told to Wagnu a new power.
00:02:50.879 --> 00:03:03.439
In a world with the spirit tree's essences fading, Wagnu's resolve hood unyielding, like a river, and always finds a way forward, earning him the title Tidebreaker.
00:03:05.360 --> 00:03:07.599
That night the campfire was alive.
00:03:08.080 --> 00:03:11.199
Sky tried and failed to appease the Edridon.
00:03:12.159 --> 00:03:15.360
Wagnu handed over the wind artifact to Li.
00:03:16.159 --> 00:03:19.280
Shu Zui simply breathed through the night.
00:03:19.840 --> 00:03:23.439
With Lee as your guide, you soon reached the towering trees.
00:03:23.840 --> 00:03:31.599
Looking up, you finally saw drinner, a village above the trees, filled with music, dancing, and delight.
00:03:32.400 --> 00:03:34.879
The home Wagnu had been searching for.
00:03:35.680 --> 00:03:40.719
And somewhere nearby, the flames of the fire elemental artifact burned.
00:03:42.240 --> 00:03:45.919
You see uh a head pop out from above the trees.
00:03:49.039 --> 00:03:58.400
And then it just goes back in before you along with Ross are down by the trunk still.
00:04:00.080 --> 00:04:01.120
What are you doing?
00:04:08.319 --> 00:04:17.120
I I'm still kind of in disbelief, like kind of letting the realization set in that this is the place I've been looking for for so long.
00:04:17.439 --> 00:04:21.920
But I'm taking in like the beautiful architecture of the village.
00:04:22.160 --> 00:04:24.560
Kind of how amazingly they have everything built in the trees.
00:04:25.120 --> 00:04:37.759
Looking up into the uh city and the trees, and uh I'm kinda overwhelmed with emotion because it's been quite a long time since Lee has been home.
00:04:38.000 --> 00:04:40.959
And he's very excited.
00:04:43.680 --> 00:04:47.439
Did he also give me our first roll to gain a history check?
00:04:47.680 --> 00:04:49.120
I should have grabbed real time.
00:04:51.360 --> 00:04:52.800
Go ahead and get him if you want.
00:04:52.959 --> 00:04:57.519
Sorry, I was trying to roll in uh TL Spire stuff.
00:04:57.759 --> 00:04:59.040
It doesn't want me to roll it.
00:04:59.120 --> 00:05:00.079
It should be working out.
00:05:00.639 --> 00:05:04.079
Seventeen plus zero plus seventeen.
00:05:04.879 --> 00:05:06.240
Oh, and a two, but I think seventeen.
00:05:08.399 --> 00:05:14.639
As you look up towards the the voice that I called for you from above.
00:05:16.399 --> 00:05:23.839
From what you remember, your home village was indeed above in the trees.
00:05:24.160 --> 00:05:30.639
But you're taking a look around and you notice like compartments that weren't here before.
00:05:30.879 --> 00:05:37.199
Um, you notice changes that makes it look a little bit more modern, if you would say.
00:05:38.319 --> 00:05:43.120
It's not the drenner, it's still drenner, but it's not the drenner that you once knew.
00:05:43.439 --> 00:05:46.079
But I recall how to uh get up.
00:05:48.160 --> 00:05:58.160
Um, if you're 17, you would recall that there is like some sort of lift that you can you can take to take you up.
00:05:58.720 --> 00:06:08.959
Then I would kind of either head to or start looking for the lift while I turn to the other everyone else and welcome to my home.
00:06:13.519 --> 00:06:15.839
Wow, will you look at this place?
00:06:16.240 --> 00:06:17.120
It's insane.
00:06:17.360 --> 00:06:18.639
Your home?
00:06:20.800 --> 00:06:22.079
In the trees.
00:06:25.839 --> 00:06:27.920
Well, we we are elves.
00:06:32.000 --> 00:06:37.360
Oh, I didn't think it would be in the trees.
00:06:37.519 --> 00:06:40.399
I'd assume it'd be in the forest, but in the trees.
00:06:42.720 --> 00:06:44.240
It's safer up here.
00:06:46.240 --> 00:06:47.680
It definitely is.
00:06:47.920 --> 00:06:49.600
Are you familiar with this place?
00:06:49.920 --> 00:06:57.839
Oh it's where I'm from, but it's been a long time and some things seemed different, so we'll see how much I remember.
00:06:59.680 --> 00:07:02.399
Quick question, Lee, how you said safe.
00:07:02.720 --> 00:07:03.600
Safer up there.
00:07:03.759 --> 00:07:06.399
You guys that's there's no forest fires.
00:07:08.000 --> 00:07:09.279
Not yet.
00:07:10.959 --> 00:07:14.319
You start looking around um as you're you're looking and talking.
00:07:14.480 --> 00:07:17.839
You're pretty much walking and speaking with them.
00:07:18.319 --> 00:07:23.759
And it doesn't take you long, but you do eventually find what seems to be a lift.
00:07:24.240 --> 00:07:32.639
I'll go to it and I'll uh climb onto it and kind of wave over the rest of the group.
00:07:34.800 --> 00:07:39.839
You have like uh what's your passive uh either your passive perception?
00:07:40.480 --> 00:07:42.079
My passive perception is six.
00:07:43.120 --> 00:07:43.519
Six.
00:07:43.920 --> 00:07:50.399
Yeah, you you go to the lift, you wave them over, but you do notice that there's it's just like the platform itself.
00:07:50.560 --> 00:07:59.759
There doesn't seem to be any kind of like like uh like a wheel or anything, any kind of buttons where you can press to to bring your you guys up.
00:08:00.720 --> 00:08:05.040
Um once I once I like kind of call everyone else over.
00:08:07.199 --> 00:08:15.519
Uh like once if they're climbing on or once they do, uh yell up into the trees to pull us up.
00:08:16.959 --> 00:08:24.959
You yell and you wait for a few minutes and you don't hear anything back.
00:08:25.199 --> 00:08:26.399
Uh I'll look to the gravel.
00:08:26.639 --> 00:08:28.480
Well, well, this is a little awkward.
00:08:28.639 --> 00:08:33.600
Um Do you know how that thing works?
00:08:33.919 --> 00:08:39.759
Uh, like I said, it's it's been it's been a long time, but I kind of look around for anything.
00:08:40.879 --> 00:08:46.320
Are you guys on the platform or are you guys kind of like on the ground still, like just looking at the platform?
00:08:46.720 --> 00:08:48.720
I'm still on the ground looking at the platform.
00:08:48.799 --> 00:08:50.720
I don't fully trust it yet.
00:08:52.639 --> 00:08:59.600
Yeah, I think uh yeah, I would say I would say we're still on the ground.
00:09:01.039 --> 00:09:03.039
I think Lee is on the platform.
00:09:03.360 --> 00:09:11.919
All of a sudden you start to feel the the platform shake a little bit, and Lee, you start to ascend along with the platform.
00:09:12.159 --> 00:09:14.799
Well wait for us, Lee.
00:09:15.360 --> 00:09:16.799
It's going, it's going.
00:09:17.840 --> 00:09:19.120
Just just wait a little while.
00:09:19.440 --> 00:09:20.639
It'll come back down.
00:09:20.960 --> 00:09:22.159
The three of you guys see on the ground.
00:09:22.320 --> 00:09:25.840
I'm gonna try to jump onto the platform and catch it with him.
00:09:26.720 --> 00:09:28.080
Oh gosh.
00:09:28.320 --> 00:09:30.480
How fast is it moving?
00:09:33.679 --> 00:09:34.799
Yeah, it's not super fast.
00:09:34.879 --> 00:09:42.639
It's like an elevator, you know, but like a s it's- I mean it's made of like it's made of gears and it's made of like wood and it's just made out of trees.
00:09:42.720 --> 00:09:45.360
So my opposite right now.
00:09:46.480 --> 00:09:51.120
Uh right now, uh, it's probably like like 10 feet.
00:09:51.440 --> 00:09:52.000
What?
00:09:52.799 --> 00:09:55.120
That's a fast ass elevator.
00:09:56.559 --> 00:10:00.639
Dude, you guys are like in the hall just watching, just watching the as he was going.
00:10:02.559 --> 00:10:03.279
Oh wow.
00:10:03.519 --> 00:10:05.840
But I'm gonna try to make a jump for it and try to catch the platform.
00:10:06.639 --> 00:10:09.600
Go ahead and roll me a uh athletics check.
00:10:10.399 --> 00:10:12.639
And you guys are heroes, you guys can jump and catch it.
00:10:12.879 --> 00:10:13.519
It's not too good.
00:10:13.919 --> 00:10:14.960
You got a 19.
00:10:15.360 --> 00:10:18.799
I think this guy's like seven feet, so it's good.
00:10:19.120 --> 00:10:19.919
God damn.
00:10:20.320 --> 00:10:23.039
Alright, if Wagnu can take it, we can all make it, bro.
00:10:25.840 --> 00:10:30.879
Yeah, Wagnu, you jump and you just kind of grab onto the ledge, like on the edge of it.
00:10:33.519 --> 00:10:33.840
Alright.
00:10:34.159 --> 00:10:35.759
Are you guys both jumping as well?
00:10:35.919 --> 00:10:36.879
Yeah, I'll follow.
00:10:37.039 --> 00:10:37.679
Wagnu.
00:10:38.000 --> 00:10:40.080
I'm fine waiting for me to come back.
00:10:41.120 --> 00:10:41.440
Okay.
00:10:42.000 --> 00:10:44.399
Alright, I rolled a 15.
00:10:44.639 --> 00:10:45.759
A 15, yeah.
00:10:45.919 --> 00:10:47.440
You you barely jump.
00:10:47.519 --> 00:10:50.159
You just kinda like hop a little bit and you grab onto it.
00:10:50.399 --> 00:10:53.440
Um your your reach is very, very long.
00:10:54.720 --> 00:11:01.679
Shusu just stands with frost down below as he he looks up as the three of you ascend.
00:11:05.200 --> 00:11:11.519
Upon reaching reaching the top, you notice that there is no one there to greet you.
00:11:12.720 --> 00:11:28.559
And then you do see um an elf running back from what seems to be a bridge, and he goes past you into the corner across from you.
00:11:30.000 --> 00:11:39.039
He has like spiky white hair, he's a little bit um for an elf, he's a little bit more on the the meteor side.
00:11:41.519 --> 00:11:44.080
And you see he's holding he's holding like a flower in his hand.
00:11:46.480 --> 00:11:48.720
I walk out and try to greet him.
00:11:49.440 --> 00:11:52.000
As you walk up to him, he turns to you.
00:11:57.600 --> 00:11:59.120
Who who are you?
00:12:00.080 --> 00:12:09.759
Oh, hello! Um We're just some We're just some visitors stopping by.
00:12:10.000 --> 00:12:10.960
Yeah, yeah, wait, wait.
00:12:11.120 --> 00:12:12.879
Here to deliver a package.
00:12:13.279 --> 00:12:19.039
Oh wait, is that you Lee?
00:12:19.200 --> 00:12:20.480
Did you see Lee?
00:12:20.720 --> 00:12:21.600
I'll turn around.
00:12:21.759 --> 00:12:22.080
What?
00:12:22.320 --> 00:12:23.919
These guys know you Lee.
00:12:25.840 --> 00:12:29.279
I'll start walking forward and trying to get a closer look.
00:12:30.720 --> 00:12:36.399
You walk closer to Lee and you're you're just taking a closer look at his face.
00:12:39.279 --> 00:12:41.360
Give me a history check.
00:12:41.679 --> 00:12:42.240
13.
00:12:42.960 --> 00:12:43.600
13.
00:12:44.320 --> 00:12:54.799
You're looking and you catch like the way his his facial structure looks like.
00:12:55.200 --> 00:12:56.240
His cheeks.
00:12:56.960 --> 00:13:02.720
You notice how one of his eyes is um his left eye is like a little smaller than his right eye.
00:13:03.039 --> 00:13:11.279
And you recognize the look of this eye of a kid you used to once know.
00:13:12.559 --> 00:13:15.279
That goes by the name of Ravain.
00:13:16.240 --> 00:13:20.720
I'll walk up to him and I'll reach out.
00:13:21.200 --> 00:13:24.720
Put my hand on his shoulder, and it's it's it's been a long time.
00:13:26.799 --> 00:13:40.159
Uh I finally made it home, but I picked up this group of strays along the way, and I kind of point to the other two and chisui if he's up yet.
00:13:40.480 --> 00:13:46.159
As you do that, he just goes, Hey mister, have you seen Lee?
00:13:48.799 --> 00:13:50.159
Lee's home.
00:13:52.799 --> 00:13:57.279
I kinda like get a I'll get a little confused like I'm like it's me.
00:13:57.360 --> 00:13:59.279
You don't you don't recognize me?
00:14:01.679 --> 00:14:03.679
Who who are you again?
00:14:04.799 --> 00:14:06.159
I I'm Lee.
00:14:07.039 --> 00:14:08.879
No, you're not Lee.
00:14:10.320 --> 00:14:12.159
Lee's a kid like me.
00:14:12.799 --> 00:14:14.480
It's it's been a long time.
00:14:14.559 --> 00:14:17.600
I've I've been gone a long time, but it's me.
00:14:20.000 --> 00:14:22.080
Give me a persuasion check.
00:14:23.120 --> 00:14:24.480
Disadvantaged.
00:14:24.879 --> 00:14:27.039
Oh, is it ignore that.
00:14:28.480 --> 00:14:29.840
Or I'll just roll up.
00:14:31.360 --> 00:14:32.960
So 16 is the first one.
00:14:33.360 --> 00:14:33.600
19.
00:14:34.080 --> 00:14:36.000
I check my persuasion.
00:14:36.320 --> 00:14:37.919
There's a plus one, so 17.
00:14:38.799 --> 00:14:39.120
Ooh.
00:14:39.759 --> 00:14:40.720
Good rose.
00:14:41.360 --> 00:14:48.080
As you say that it's you, and you're trying to convince Ravane that you are indeed Lee.
00:14:48.320 --> 00:14:54.879
You see um his eye starts to open up a little bit, um, almost like this sparkles in there.
00:14:55.120 --> 00:14:57.440
And he takes a closer look at you.
00:14:57.679 --> 00:15:09.279
You really are Lee! As he says that to you, with your history check from Rangier, you remember that Ravane he had um he's he was always like a child.
00:15:09.679 --> 00:15:17.679
Even as as you look at him now, he still has like those that those similar childlike traits.
00:15:19.120 --> 00:15:21.440
Even though he looks way older now.
00:15:21.679 --> 00:15:22.879
How how have you been?
00:15:23.120 --> 00:15:24.559
It's good to see you.
00:15:26.000 --> 00:15:26.879
I've been good.
00:15:26.960 --> 00:15:31.519
And he he just starts like um holding his flower, starts moving to the side a little bit.
00:15:32.080 --> 00:15:34.399
I I've been waiting for you, Lee.
00:15:34.879 --> 00:15:36.720
Well, I'm I'm glad you have been.
00:15:36.799 --> 00:15:40.799
I'm glad I uh I'm glad I got to see you again.
00:15:41.679 --> 00:15:45.840
Uh we're let's let's go talk to everyone else.
00:15:48.960 --> 00:15:52.559
Okay, follow me! He starts to go ahead.
00:15:53.120 --> 00:15:53.440
Okay.
00:15:58.639 --> 00:15:58.960
Cool.
00:15:59.039 --> 00:16:05.200
I noticed the moving out, and I just started walking towards Lee and Rabin.
00:16:06.480 --> 00:16:07.039
Rabine.
00:16:07.279 --> 00:16:07.919
Rabbein.
00:16:08.320 --> 00:16:09.360
Yeah, I just follow.
00:16:09.519 --> 00:16:11.600
I is she's the way up at this point.
00:16:12.080 --> 00:16:13.360
Oh, he is not yet.
00:16:13.519 --> 00:16:14.399
He's still down below.
00:16:14.720 --> 00:16:15.759
He's gonna miss out.
00:16:16.000 --> 00:16:16.480
Oh god.
00:16:17.440 --> 00:16:25.039
If there's a guard or something along the way and like they're gonna uh there's a there's another one uh below if you could lower the lift.
00:16:25.600 --> 00:16:29.519
Uh with your past the perception, you don't notice that there is no guard.
00:16:29.759 --> 00:16:33.200
You guys can take a little while to low lower the lift if you want.
00:16:33.519 --> 00:16:36.559
Yeah, I feel like maybe we should wait for Shisui.
00:16:37.759 --> 00:16:41.519
Yeah, the last time we lost him, we didn't get him back for a long time.
00:16:42.159 --> 00:16:43.279
We should go get him.
00:16:45.039 --> 00:16:48.080
Oh, Ravain, uh, let's uh we have one more.
00:16:48.240 --> 00:16:49.279
Let's wait.
00:16:49.600 --> 00:16:55.919
And as you say that, you turn around to um go back to the live.
00:16:56.080 --> 00:16:59.039
Uh he tags you real fast and he starts taking off.
00:16:59.200 --> 00:17:05.039
Uh, you're it, you're it! He starts running off past the bridge.
00:17:05.599 --> 00:17:07.200
Uh good.
00:17:07.920 --> 00:17:11.279
Wognew, I've never lost a game of tag, and I'm gonna chase after him.
00:17:13.200 --> 00:17:30.559
I start to remember like just watching them run off like that, it just flashes just moments that I from my past of like running across the tree line, the rickety bridges, and I just kind of smile very slightly.
00:17:30.799 --> 00:17:34.880
You two lower the lift for Shusui to come up.
00:17:36.000 --> 00:17:36.400
Yeah.
00:17:36.640 --> 00:17:36.880
Okay.
00:17:36.960 --> 00:17:44.079
It takes you a little while, but eventually you figure out how to work it, and then you start to just turn the wheel and the lift goes down.
00:17:47.039 --> 00:17:49.119
Shusui gets on top of the lift.
00:17:49.200 --> 00:17:54.160
Um, was there anything you want to do while you were down the Shusui before you go up?
00:17:55.279 --> 00:18:00.400
I was just looking at the mechanism trying to see if I can like understand how it's working.
00:18:01.839 --> 00:18:05.200
Yeah, they made everything out of like wood and like rope.
00:18:06.960 --> 00:18:10.000
Give me a um kind of check would that be, honestly.
00:18:10.079 --> 00:18:11.279
I wouldn't even know.
00:18:12.160 --> 00:18:14.000
Probably just investigation.
00:18:16.000 --> 00:18:16.880
Yeah, sure.
00:18:17.039 --> 00:18:21.119
Give me just give me a wisdom or I IT check, intelligence check.
00:18:21.359 --> 00:18:22.559
Uh now.
00:18:23.119 --> 00:18:24.000
That's a two.
00:18:25.440 --> 00:18:28.799
Yeah, you're looking at it, uh very interesting.
00:18:28.960 --> 00:18:32.319
Um, you don't quite understand it, but it's very cool to you.
00:18:33.119 --> 00:18:35.279
And then as you're looking at it, the list comes down.
00:18:35.359 --> 00:18:37.039
And you're like, oh, the list is down.
00:18:37.359 --> 00:18:43.519
Yeah, I'll just uh I'll walk over to it, carrying frost, making sure he's actually with me.
00:18:44.000 --> 00:18:49.359
You get on and you slowly ascend upward.
00:18:49.759 --> 00:18:55.440
You see shlack sky and Wagnu there waiting for you as you get off the lift.
00:18:55.599 --> 00:18:57.039
So, did I miss anything?
00:18:57.200 --> 00:19:01.279
I I don't smell any fire, so I assume it's safe up here.
00:19:02.480 --> 00:19:09.519
Well, we don't know yet, but there is a um an elf that just started playing tag with Lee.
00:19:09.759 --> 00:19:12.480
So I mean, sound too strange.
00:19:13.039 --> 00:19:15.519
Well, let's hope it stays that way.
00:19:16.000 --> 00:19:18.640
I'm pretty sure I saw them run off that way too.
00:19:18.960 --> 00:19:22.240
And I'll kind of move towards the direction where I saw Lee run off.
00:19:22.559 --> 00:19:23.519
You start moving.
00:19:23.599 --> 00:19:30.400
Let's just go to let's uh move to Lee chasing after Ravane real fast.
00:19:30.960 --> 00:19:35.359
Um Lee, you're moving through the trees, the bridges here.
00:19:36.240 --> 00:19:38.400
It's a lot different from what you remember.
00:19:38.480 --> 00:19:44.640
It's way more it's almost it it looks way nicer than than what you're used to.
00:19:44.799 --> 00:19:47.279
Or at least what your memory recalls.
00:19:47.599 --> 00:19:51.599
You see as Ravane is running ahead of you, he's smiling.
00:19:53.200 --> 00:19:55.599
Just calling out to you to catch him.
00:19:56.160 --> 00:19:59.759
Um yeah, I'm as I'm chasing around, I'm gonna try.
00:20:01.920 --> 00:20:07.039
See if anything is as I remember, or if most of it changed at this point.
00:20:07.519 --> 00:20:13.920
If I'm unable to catch up to Ravine, I will cast Mistystead.
00:20:16.079 --> 00:20:16.720
Nice.
00:20:17.920 --> 00:20:25.200
Um go ahead and roll me a acrobatics check first.
00:20:25.359 --> 00:20:27.440
Oh, athletics check, actually.
00:20:28.240 --> 00:20:28.559
Okay.
00:20:29.440 --> 00:20:30.480
Oh, you know what?
00:20:31.200 --> 00:20:33.119
Either one, whatever one's higher for you.
00:20:33.440 --> 00:20:37.119
Depending on how you're yeah, it depends on how you're trying to do it.
00:20:37.279 --> 00:20:44.079
Are you using like, you know, like your muscles to boost yourself up, or you're just like jumping around the trees as an elf?
00:20:44.960 --> 00:20:55.519
Yeah, I think kind of jumping around more so trying to like catch close the distance a little with every corner, you know, turn, cut them a little closer or something.
00:20:56.160 --> 00:20:59.119
Okay, yeah, give me a a row then.
00:20:59.680 --> 00:21:03.279
Okay, that's uh 15 plus 4, so 19.
00:21:03.920 --> 00:21:04.400
Dang.
00:21:05.279 --> 00:21:14.480
Yeah, you start jumping around, hopping from the le the edges onto the branches in the back down, and you eventually catch him, you tag him.
00:21:14.960 --> 00:21:21.839
He goes, Oh you always win the You got that right.
00:21:22.079 --> 00:21:31.680
And once I kinda we finish up tag, I'm like, uh can you lead me to uh any anyone anyone else?
00:21:33.200 --> 00:21:37.759
Uh sure.
00:21:38.400 --> 00:21:40.559
What you don't want to play anymore?
00:21:41.920 --> 00:21:46.000
Uh I would I would love to play, but I I'm a little busy at the moment.
00:21:46.160 --> 00:21:48.960
Um maybe we can continue tag later.
00:21:51.519 --> 00:21:58.160
You see as he kicks like a tree on the ground, like a branch on the ground, it just kinda goes over the bridge.
00:21:58.480 --> 00:21:58.960
Fine.
00:22:00.160 --> 00:22:02.079
Uh I'll begin to follow up.
00:22:02.880 --> 00:22:04.480
I'm s I'm sorry, Ravine.
00:22:04.640 --> 00:22:06.880
I I promise we'll play later.
00:22:07.839 --> 00:22:09.599
Okay, you promise.
00:22:10.480 --> 00:22:12.559
And then you guys are catching up.
00:22:12.720 --> 00:22:17.200
You know you just see like Lee hopping around everywhere.
00:22:18.880 --> 00:22:23.200
But eventually you do make your way over as they slow down.
00:22:26.960 --> 00:22:27.519
Hmm.
00:22:27.759 --> 00:22:28.720
I'll just know.
00:22:28.880 --> 00:22:31.759
Man, I didn't think games of tag get that intensely.
00:22:31.839 --> 00:22:33.039
You're pretty good.
00:22:33.680 --> 00:22:36.160
I've I've been playing my whole life.
00:22:36.480 --> 00:22:37.920
I'm a professional.
00:22:39.039 --> 00:22:40.799
Who was that anyway?
00:22:45.039 --> 00:22:47.759
Uh his his name is Ravain.
00:22:50.160 --> 00:22:56.640
Uh we've been we grew up in Renner together.
00:22:56.960 --> 00:22:59.839
Uh he's gonna lead us to uh the others.
00:23:00.319 --> 00:23:02.480
Oh okay.
00:23:02.720 --> 00:23:12.720
As you start to all follow Ravain, um at this point there seems to be like more elves coming out now.
00:23:14.799 --> 00:23:56.880
Where he was he was just kind of playing by himself, and as you guys get like more towards the center of the village, more elves starts to pop out, and you notice a red-hair elven woman who's dressed in like a long green, almost like a like a dress of some sort, and she walks towards the four the four of you.
00:23:58.559 --> 00:24:00.960
And who might you all be?
00:24:02.160 --> 00:24:04.240
How did she get up here anyway?
00:24:10.640 --> 00:24:12.799
Greetings, nice to meet you.
00:24:13.200 --> 00:24:18.000
I am Wagnew, and these are my friends.
00:24:18.240 --> 00:24:19.519
We got up here too.
00:24:19.680 --> 00:24:20.319
We'll let you up.
00:24:20.640 --> 00:24:28.559
And at this point, you see behind her, she kind of like takes out um like what seems to be like an elven sword.
00:24:28.799 --> 00:24:29.359
Yeah, I don't.
00:24:29.599 --> 00:24:33.039
I kind of steps between like, whoa, whoa, whoa, they're with me.
00:24:33.119 --> 00:24:34.079
They're with me.
00:24:35.119 --> 00:24:36.559
She looks at you.
00:24:37.279 --> 00:24:39.200
Okay, and who are you?
00:24:39.519 --> 00:24:41.759
My name is Lee Feleran.
00:24:43.680 --> 00:24:46.880
As you say that name, her eyes kind of widen a little bit.
00:24:47.119 --> 00:24:50.319
And she points the sword towards your neck.
00:24:50.559 --> 00:24:52.079
Uh, do I recognize her?
00:24:52.640 --> 00:24:55.200
Um, what did you roll your history check last?
00:24:55.440 --> 00:24:56.400
It was 17, right?
00:24:56.640 --> 00:24:58.319
Uh 17, yeah.
00:24:58.880 --> 00:25:00.559
Let's use that roll.
00:25:02.079 --> 00:25:12.400
With your role from earlier, you start to take a closer look at this at this elven woman in front of you.
00:25:12.880 --> 00:25:17.119
Um, she notices you she notices your gaze on her.
00:25:17.839 --> 00:25:27.839
And you see as her her ashen red hair starts to just kind of blow in the wind as the wind blows by.
00:25:30.000 --> 00:25:38.319
The only ashen-haired, red-haired elven woman you remember as a girl a long time ago was someone named Darien.
00:25:38.720 --> 00:25:44.960
And when she kind of points the sword at me, I'll I'll raise my hands up and I said Lee Felrin.
00:25:45.920 --> 00:25:47.680
I've been gone a long time.
00:25:48.000 --> 00:25:50.000
Uh you said uh Darien?
00:25:50.160 --> 00:25:50.799
Is that what you said?
00:25:51.039 --> 00:25:51.680
Darien.
00:25:52.319 --> 00:25:52.960
Yeah.
00:25:53.279 --> 00:25:56.400
Uh Darien, it's it's me.
00:25:56.799 --> 00:25:59.039
Don't make fun of the dead.
00:25:59.359 --> 00:26:01.200
I I don't know how to prove it to you.
00:26:01.279 --> 00:26:07.039
I've I know I look different, but I it can't be that different.
00:26:07.359 --> 00:26:10.000
Go and give me a persuasion check.
00:26:10.640 --> 00:26:11.839
Oh, I got my real dice.
00:26:11.920 --> 00:26:12.720
Oh, I already got this one.
00:26:13.200 --> 00:26:13.759
Use it.
00:26:15.039 --> 00:26:18.799
Uh 11 plus 1, I believe, so 12.
00:26:19.359 --> 00:26:27.359
As you say that, she her eyes her eyebrows um stance up or stance down.
00:26:27.920 --> 00:26:30.000
She gets a little angry.
00:26:30.319 --> 00:26:32.559
Get away from Ravin right now.
00:26:32.880 --> 00:26:34.480
Ravain, come over here.
00:26:34.640 --> 00:26:35.599
Get behind me.
00:26:35.839 --> 00:26:41.599
See as Ravin just uh starts uh like skipping over towards her.
00:26:42.720 --> 00:26:44.880
Darian, that's that's Lee.
00:26:46.000 --> 00:26:48.160
Look, I don't know who you guys are.
00:26:48.559 --> 00:26:50.480
Don't know how you guys got up.
00:26:51.279 --> 00:26:54.240
Don't know how you know the name Lee.
00:26:57.359 --> 00:27:00.480
If you know what's best for you, you should be careful with that name.
00:27:00.720 --> 00:27:02.319
Listen, it's okay.
00:27:02.640 --> 00:27:04.160
You don't believe me.
00:27:05.680 --> 00:27:28.480
But um this group I bought brought with me, they have they have a mission, and I think they would like to speak to um I don't know if I would know the name of like kind of the the higher-ups or the leaders off the top of my head, but kind of uh they they would like to speak to someone of authority.
00:27:30.960 --> 00:27:33.680
You were a kid when you when you left Grenor.
00:27:33.839 --> 00:27:40.079
Um, give me a history check if you would know someone of that of that, like rink.
00:27:40.799 --> 00:27:41.119
Okay.
00:27:49.279 --> 00:27:52.960
I mean you're already pretty good on Tailsfire, so maybe you should keep calling on Tailsfire.
00:27:53.200 --> 00:27:54.640
Maybe I'll just keep using that.
00:27:54.960 --> 00:27:55.680
Uh 18.
00:27:55.920 --> 00:28:04.000
You remember uh the like the leader of the village, his name was Saless.
00:28:08.880 --> 00:28:14.720
Um I think it would be best if they had uh a meeting with Sales.
00:28:16.000 --> 00:28:23.599
And you say that name and her eyes why didn't and at the same time her face gets even angrier.
00:28:24.559 --> 00:28:27.359
Okay, you're starting to really make me angry.
00:28:30.160 --> 00:28:33.119
Salis has been dead for 200 years.
00:28:33.440 --> 00:28:35.759
What what do you mean?
00:28:40.400 --> 00:28:41.680
Sky and Wagnu.
00:28:42.160 --> 00:28:47.200
Um, as you guys see the situation, is there anything you to want to do?
00:28:48.480 --> 00:28:51.039
Are we in earshot of their conversation?
00:28:51.119 --> 00:28:52.559
Like we overheard what they were saying?
00:28:52.720 --> 00:28:54.400
Yeah, you guys are like right behind Lee.
00:28:54.559 --> 00:29:06.160
Lee's in front, and then uh you see as Tyrion's like sword is just pointed towards the Yeah, I'll kind of like walk up after noticing the commotion and just try to figure out what's going on.
00:29:06.319 --> 00:29:08.400
Like, what's going on here, Lee?
00:29:08.559 --> 00:29:10.160
Uh I thought you said you knew this place.
00:29:10.400 --> 00:29:11.519
Uh I'm not quite sure.
00:29:12.160 --> 00:29:14.960
They're having a hard time recognizing me.
00:29:17.920 --> 00:29:24.079
And then I'll look over to um who was the person that had the sword to Lee.
00:29:26.720 --> 00:29:32.640
You heard her, uh you heard she didn't give you her name yet, but you heard the uh Lee say Darien.
00:29:33.279 --> 00:29:33.599
Okay.
00:29:34.720 --> 00:29:48.799
Uh I'll just walk up to her, like, with my hands up and approach her, like, wait, I don't know what's going on, but if you know this guy, if you know Lee, you know that he doesn't mean any harm.
00:29:49.359 --> 00:29:50.640
Nor do we.
00:29:52.799 --> 00:29:54.880
Is there something that we're missing?
00:29:55.519 --> 00:30:01.680
Okay, if you're Lee, if you really If you say you're Lee, then prove it.
00:30:03.759 --> 00:30:05.119
Show me something.
00:30:05.359 --> 00:30:06.960
That only Lee would have.
00:30:07.359 --> 00:30:12.160
Only Lee would Um, off the top of my head, would I be able to think of anything?
00:30:12.240 --> 00:30:14.720
I'm not sure when I would have gotten my cloak.
00:30:15.039 --> 00:30:20.319
Um, I would let you I would let you make it up.
00:30:20.960 --> 00:30:22.400
What would you believe?
00:30:22.720 --> 00:30:25.119
Um I don't know.
00:30:25.200 --> 00:30:33.039
I was kinda thinking he would have gotten a cloak on his like journey away from like while he was on his way back home.
00:30:34.400 --> 00:30:36.000
Well, it's it's fine.
00:30:36.079 --> 00:30:42.960
If you don't believe me, um I at least have proof that we knew Kenneth.
00:30:43.519 --> 00:30:44.240
Shusui.
00:30:45.119 --> 00:30:47.440
And I'll kind of point over to Shusui.
00:30:49.839 --> 00:30:50.640
I'm a little confused.
00:30:50.960 --> 00:30:54.000
Shusui has his cloaked up and I uh showed him.
00:30:54.319 --> 00:30:59.279
Shusui, give me a persuasion check as you show your your red cloak.
00:30:59.519 --> 00:31:00.400
Oh no.
00:31:00.799 --> 00:31:03.039
That is a uh that's a three.
00:31:03.440 --> 00:31:03.920
Wow.
00:31:05.279 --> 00:31:05.920
Oh no.
00:31:06.240 --> 00:31:09.839
First you make fun of Lee.
00:31:10.640 --> 00:31:13.039
And now you make fun of Kenneth.
00:31:14.240 --> 00:31:16.960
I'm gonna give you one last chance.
00:31:17.200 --> 00:31:21.119
You can turn around and leave Drenor.
00:31:22.799 --> 00:31:24.720
Or we can do this the hard way.
00:31:25.279 --> 00:31:25.759
Cool.
00:31:25.920 --> 00:31:26.240
Okay.
00:31:26.720 --> 00:31:30.880
You see as uh Ravane just kind of like hops around her.
00:31:33.039 --> 00:31:35.200
Uh now he looks kind of scared.
00:31:35.359 --> 00:31:37.440
Not of you guys, but of of Derean.
00:31:37.759 --> 00:31:43.440
Uh, can I do a history check to see if I remember anything Kenneth might have told me about his home?
00:31:43.680 --> 00:31:45.920
Um, yeah, give me a history check.
00:31:46.240 --> 00:31:48.400
Alright, I'm ready for another two.
00:31:49.200 --> 00:31:50.960
Alright, uh 18.
00:31:51.359 --> 00:31:52.079
18.
00:31:52.240 --> 00:31:52.559
Um.
00:31:53.440 --> 00:32:04.640
Along on your travels with Kenneth, your uncle, you recall moments where he would talk about his village.
00:32:04.960 --> 00:32:09.839
You never hear him speak of a brother.
00:32:10.240 --> 00:32:21.519
Almost as if um whenever like a that topic comes up of his family from before, um, there's like a there's something there, and he's not willing to talk about it.
00:32:24.079 --> 00:32:34.480
But you do recall him speaking great things about the current leader of Drenor.
00:32:35.759 --> 00:32:40.000
And notes.
00:32:40.240 --> 00:32:40.960
Give me one sec.
00:32:41.200 --> 00:32:47.440
And do you remember as he mentions the name of the current leader who goes by Fenwin?
00:32:47.839 --> 00:32:48.720
Hold up, hold up.
00:32:48.799 --> 00:32:51.920
Uh Kenov used to tell me stories about this place.
00:32:52.079 --> 00:32:55.279
Uh, you talk about the leader, uh, Fenwyn?
00:32:55.839 --> 00:33:03.279
And her sort of lowers a little bit as you mentioned Fenwin.
00:33:03.920 --> 00:33:04.799
Well, I mean it's not.
00:33:05.279 --> 00:33:06.559
Seek an audience with Finwin.
00:33:06.799 --> 00:33:08.079
Ideally, yeah.
00:33:08.559 --> 00:33:10.319
We did come all this way.
00:33:10.720 --> 00:33:17.920
It involves I I don't know if they reached here, but it involves a group called the uh Black Dawn.
00:33:18.480 --> 00:33:21.599
They've been going around causing havoc everywhere.
00:33:25.680 --> 00:33:27.200
Uh I'm ready for two.
00:33:30.880 --> 00:33:31.200
Okay.
00:33:31.519 --> 00:33:32.799
Alright, Nat 20.
00:33:33.279 --> 00:33:33.759
There we go.
00:33:34.240 --> 00:33:35.039
Nat 20.
00:33:35.279 --> 00:33:36.640
Let's go for it.
00:33:37.279 --> 00:33:37.519
Let's go.
00:33:38.000 --> 00:33:39.599
Get those twos out of here.
00:33:41.039 --> 00:34:04.799
Uh her her sword doesn't like stop pointing at Lee, but she does acknowledges you, Shusui, and as you say the word Black Dawn, she has like a like a face of uh as if as if she's thinking about things.
00:34:06.000 --> 00:34:07.680
Just give me a few minutes then.
00:34:08.320 --> 00:34:10.159
Don't go anywhere.
00:34:10.719 --> 00:34:13.360
She puts her sword away and then she takes off.
00:34:14.000 --> 00:34:15.679
Starts walking back.
00:34:16.719 --> 00:34:19.119
Gravine comes over to Lee.
00:34:19.599 --> 00:34:21.360
And Darien scares me.
00:34:21.519 --> 00:34:23.920
Yeah, she's she scares me too.
00:34:24.800 --> 00:34:25.679
I look forward.
00:34:25.840 --> 00:34:26.320
Does she see?
00:34:27.840 --> 00:34:31.039
You s you said Finn is the leader now?
00:34:31.519 --> 00:34:36.639
Uh yeah, that's uh if I remember correctly, that's what uh Kenneth said.
00:34:36.960 --> 00:34:39.920
Well hopefully he will recognize.
00:34:40.639 --> 00:34:45.679
Yeah, kinda surprised that uh no one here seems to recognize you.
00:34:45.840 --> 00:34:47.760
Just how long have you been gone?
00:34:48.320 --> 00:34:54.000
So, yeah, I was actually gonna You said Salis was the leader when I was a kid?
00:34:54.320 --> 00:34:54.960
Yeah.
00:34:55.599 --> 00:34:55.920
Okay.
00:34:56.159 --> 00:34:59.679
And she said he hasn't been leader.
00:35:00.639 --> 00:35:01.199
Damn.
00:35:01.519 --> 00:35:11.599
Um and then you also said uh Ravian is he looks older.
00:35:11.920 --> 00:35:13.519
He looks way older.
00:35:13.920 --> 00:35:14.239
Okay.
00:35:14.960 --> 00:35:22.239
Can I make a like perception check to see if he looks older than what I had thought I was going for?
00:35:24.800 --> 00:35:25.440
Yes.
00:35:25.599 --> 00:35:27.199
Um what were you going for?
00:35:27.280 --> 00:35:28.480
What were you thinking first?
00:35:31.119 --> 00:35:32.079
Um, I don't know.
00:35:32.159 --> 00:35:35.840
I'm just kind of I think Lee's kind of just trying to wrap his head around things because.
00:35:37.199 --> 00:35:42.880
Yeah, go and give me a um not a I wouldn't say perception check.
00:35:43.119 --> 00:35:44.559
Um let me see.
00:35:46.480 --> 00:35:48.159
Give me insight check, yeah.
00:35:48.719 --> 00:35:49.039
Okay.
00:35:49.760 --> 00:35:51.360
I'm using my real dice this time.
00:35:51.440 --> 00:35:52.159
I remembered.
00:35:53.760 --> 00:35:54.639
It'd be the battle.
00:35:55.519 --> 00:36:01.599
Oh that's the real We're good at remembering stuff today.
00:36:03.760 --> 00:36:07.440
Yeah, you're taking a closer look at at Raviane.
00:36:08.079 --> 00:36:16.079
Um he holds all the like the facial traits he used to have, or what you can recall when he was a kid.
00:36:16.320 --> 00:36:32.079
Um in elf years, he's at least like from what you can see and tell, yeah, understand, he's at least like 100, 200, 150 around there.
00:36:33.679 --> 00:36:40.320
But he retains his childlike like um traits, the way he acts, the way he talks.
00:36:40.559 --> 00:36:49.679
Yeah, I looked at Shisui and just I I thought I was only gone for like like 20 years.
00:36:50.079 --> 00:36:51.599
But I I don't know.
00:36:52.320 --> 00:36:57.440
I just kinda he has like a he's he looks a little confused.
00:36:57.519 --> 00:37:00.159
He looks like he's still trying to figure out what's going on.
00:37:00.480 --> 00:37:04.639
Shisui, give me a give me an iconic check.
00:37:06.400 --> 00:37:08.719
Uh but that's five.
00:37:08.960 --> 00:37:11.599
Yeah, you're conf you're as confused as Lee is.
00:37:12.159 --> 00:37:14.800
Yeah, uh I don't know.
00:37:14.880 --> 00:37:18.800
If it's only been 20 years, they should definitely recognize you.
00:37:19.039 --> 00:37:21.119
Yeah, I'm not sure what's up with them.
00:37:21.679 --> 00:37:23.360
I'm I'm sure everything's fine.
00:37:23.840 --> 00:37:25.679
Finn will remember me.
00:37:26.400 --> 00:37:34.960
You guys wait, and there's about like three elven guards who are now surrounding surrounding you guys.
00:37:35.119 --> 00:37:37.360
Just kind of like keeping watch.
00:37:42.880 --> 00:37:51.199
I noticed the the guards kind of surrounding us or just standing around us, and then I'll I'll kind of try to whisper to Lee and Shisui.
00:37:51.760 --> 00:37:53.519
Like, what's going on?
00:37:53.840 --> 00:37:55.920
Are we in trouble or what?
00:37:56.159 --> 00:37:57.199
Uh I don't know.
00:37:57.440 --> 00:37:59.599
Like, this is my first time here too.
00:38:00.639 --> 00:38:04.639
Like I know I've heard some stories, but that's about it.
00:38:05.599 --> 00:38:09.760
Well, it seemed like you guys were talking to that that person for us.
00:38:10.400 --> 00:38:12.079
Something's something's not right.
00:38:12.159 --> 00:38:12.639
I don't know.
00:38:12.800 --> 00:38:15.039
They're they uh they aren't recognizing.
00:38:15.679 --> 00:38:16.000
Okay.
00:38:17.840 --> 00:38:18.159
Okay.
00:38:20.159 --> 00:38:30.000
As long as um this isn't a situation that calls for you know black sky, then uh we keep the peace.
00:38:31.280 --> 00:38:35.039
Yeah, let's uh let's do our best to keep the peace.
00:38:36.000 --> 00:38:36.480
Well.
00:38:37.679 --> 00:38:39.280
I just don't think they see us as friendly.
00:38:39.440 --> 00:38:40.960
I'd really rather not have to.
00:38:41.440 --> 00:38:44.239
I mean, have you seen the world?
00:38:44.400 --> 00:38:47.039
It's it's a pretty dark place right now.
00:38:47.519 --> 00:38:50.400
Most places wouldn't see us as friendly.
00:38:51.679 --> 00:38:52.800
It's true.
00:38:53.599 --> 00:38:53.760
Okay.
00:38:56.960 --> 00:38:58.400
twenty minutes.
00:39:00.000 --> 00:39:06.159
From where Darien had um had walked off to.
00:39:06.719 --> 00:39:09.679
Now you see in front.
00:39:10.079 --> 00:39:22.880
A tall willowy even by like the elven standards, um posture is trained, straight.
00:39:24.400 --> 00:39:30.239
He has long blonde hair, braided with thin silver threads.
00:39:32.559 --> 00:39:40.960
As he gets closer, you notice that his eyes are like a pale green color.
00:39:42.800 --> 00:39:53.519
He's wearing like layered silk and leathers, and behind him you see Darien, along with two other elven guards.
00:39:54.079 --> 00:39:56.320
What seems to be the matter here?
00:39:59.119 --> 00:40:01.920
We don't get visitors quite often.
00:40:02.800 --> 00:40:04.800
Or at least it's been a while.
00:40:08.000 --> 00:40:19.119
Well, are we for uh look uh so they're I'll look over to the I was just gonna say like they're they're like approaching us, like they're like walking towards us, like a heart.
00:40:19.840 --> 00:40:24.400
Yeah, he's he's just like talking to Therian and then he's coming towards you.
00:40:25.199 --> 00:40:32.719
And as he sees the four of you now, um, he gazes over and sees Lee.
00:40:36.079 --> 00:40:37.920
I'm gonna roll for this.
00:40:41.039 --> 00:40:41.679
Oh man.
00:40:43.679 --> 00:40:44.880
Someone tell me what it is.
00:40:45.280 --> 00:40:54.719
He gazes over Lee and then his gaze just goes over Lee onto Skyu, Wagnu, and Chusui, and Frost.
00:40:55.760 --> 00:40:56.800
What an interesting one.
00:40:56.960 --> 00:40:58.079
I look to the others.
00:40:58.400 --> 00:41:00.000
I look to the other three, and I'm thinking.
00:41:00.239 --> 00:41:02.480
Some someone else took the lead on this.
00:41:03.199 --> 00:41:04.559
I look over to Wagnu.
00:41:04.880 --> 00:41:06.320
You're the feeble person.
00:41:06.960 --> 00:41:09.840
Uh I think you can explain this.
00:41:10.559 --> 00:41:11.119
Right.
00:41:11.360 --> 00:41:11.679
Okay.
00:41:13.119 --> 00:41:15.679
I walk up a little bit kind of forward.
00:41:16.320 --> 00:41:20.719
And uh I I don't think I got his name, but it's the guard?
00:41:21.039 --> 00:41:24.079
No, right now it's uh the leader of Jenner.
00:41:24.239 --> 00:41:25.119
Yeah, the blonde here.
00:41:25.519 --> 00:41:27.039
Uh his name is Finwin.
00:41:27.360 --> 00:41:27.679
Okay.
00:41:29.440 --> 00:41:32.000
Well, I'll say out loud to him.
00:41:32.159 --> 00:41:35.440
Would you consider returning residence visitors?
00:41:36.000 --> 00:41:41.280
Because our friend Lee here, he used to live here.
00:41:44.239 --> 00:41:45.679
Did you say Lee?
00:41:45.920 --> 00:41:46.559
Yeah.
00:41:53.039 --> 00:41:54.400
Lee is dead.
00:41:54.639 --> 00:41:56.400
I will warn you once.
00:41:57.280 --> 00:41:58.960
He's a very dear friend of mine.
00:41:59.119 --> 00:42:00.320
Please do not make fun of him.
00:42:00.639 --> 00:42:01.840
He's a dear friend of yours, huh?
00:42:01.920 --> 00:42:04.639
I have not seen him in over 200 years.
00:42:05.760 --> 00:42:08.480
Is he not the man standing right in front of you here?
00:42:08.800 --> 00:42:13.519
Lee, the last time you saw Benwin, you guys were kids.
00:42:14.400 --> 00:42:18.800
What's something that Benwin would know, would only know about you?
00:42:19.360 --> 00:42:21.360
Um think he would.
00:42:22.000 --> 00:42:24.320
What's something you would know only about Benwin?
00:42:24.559 --> 00:42:30.639
I feel like there's probably some story of us playing as kids and one of us got like a scar somewhere, maybe.
00:42:30.960 --> 00:42:32.239
You say he's Lee.
00:42:32.880 --> 00:42:38.159
Lee had a scar on his right wrist, and he shows his left wrist.
00:42:41.599 --> 00:42:45.760
If you really are a lead, then prove it.
00:42:48.880 --> 00:42:54.719
I'll uh I'll pull up my sleeve on my right arm and reach out.
00:42:55.679 --> 00:42:56.880
It it's me, Finn.
00:42:57.280 --> 00:43:06.960
As you do that, you see as Finn's eyes start to get watery.
00:43:08.400 --> 00:43:10.719
He starts to walk closer to you.
00:43:12.480 --> 00:43:13.599
Lee Felron.
00:43:19.679 --> 00:43:21.920
I wanted to believe you were alive.
00:43:24.000 --> 00:43:26.000
I never found your body.
00:43:26.960 --> 00:43:29.039
Where did you go, old friend?
00:43:29.519 --> 00:43:33.599
I went I went to another world.
00:43:35.199 --> 00:43:37.519
I don't know how to explain it.
00:43:37.760 --> 00:43:43.760
And I don't know exactly the details, but for me it's only been twenty years.
00:43:44.480 --> 00:43:44.800
Okay.
00:43:45.760 --> 00:43:48.320
Maybe we get to a more comfortable place.
00:43:50.800 --> 00:43:54.079
Eddie's guards! He raises his hands.
00:43:54.880 --> 00:43:56.159
It's okay.
00:43:56.480 --> 00:43:58.719
This is my great friend Lee.
00:43:59.039 --> 00:43:59.760
He turns around.
00:44:00.239 --> 00:44:01.840
To the three of you.
00:44:02.800 --> 00:44:04.000
Forgive me.
00:44:04.320 --> 00:44:06.000
My name is Spinwin.
00:44:06.559 --> 00:44:08.880
Spinwin Windbound.
00:44:09.519 --> 00:44:11.199
I'm the leader of Drenner.
00:44:11.440 --> 00:44:12.559
Nice to meet you.
00:44:12.719 --> 00:44:16.880
I'm glad we didn't catch you on your bad side.
00:44:17.760 --> 00:44:19.920
Ha! I don't have a bad side.
00:44:21.199 --> 00:44:22.719
You must be tired.
00:44:23.119 --> 00:44:24.719
Yeah, it's been a long journey.
00:44:24.960 --> 00:44:26.960
If you have a place for us to rest, have you?
00:44:27.360 --> 00:44:27.679
Of course.
00:44:27.840 --> 00:44:29.840
We'll get it situated at once.
00:44:31.039 --> 00:44:35.440
He waves to like a few of the Yovin's uh guards around.
00:44:35.519 --> 00:44:40.159
Um he starts to like just turns around, talks to them for a little bit.
00:44:41.599 --> 00:44:43.199
And then turns to Dharien.
00:44:44.480 --> 00:44:48.639
Darien here will make sure you you are comfortable.
00:44:49.920 --> 00:44:51.440
He turns to Lee.
00:44:51.679 --> 00:44:53.360
And you, old friend.
00:44:54.800 --> 00:44:56.000
Let's take a walk.
00:44:56.159 --> 00:44:56.960
I'll follow.
00:45:00.880 --> 00:45:03.199
Lee starts to follow Finn.
00:45:04.320 --> 00:45:11.119
As the three of you follow Darien, unless there's something you want to do.
00:45:13.039 --> 00:45:14.880
Uh yeah, I think not for me.
00:45:15.039 --> 00:45:16.239
Yeah, I'm chilling.
00:45:17.039 --> 00:45:17.920
I'll follow her.
00:45:18.159 --> 00:45:18.480
Okay.
00:45:20.239 --> 00:45:27.280
She eventually leads the three of you to um a very nice.
00:45:29.760 --> 00:45:33.519
Like almost like a wooden hut of some sort.
00:45:33.760 --> 00:45:36.480
Inside is like a hearth going on.
00:45:36.800 --> 00:45:38.239
Which is kind of weird.
00:45:38.639 --> 00:45:43.679
The village of trees just the fire here are well contained.
00:45:46.239 --> 00:45:53.119
You see in the middle, you even see like meat being cooked.
00:45:53.360 --> 00:45:55.679
Most of your knowledge about the elves.
00:45:56.320 --> 00:46:00.480
Regular world knowledge about elves are most of them be vegetarians.
00:46:00.719 --> 00:46:09.840
But you hear you see meat being cooked, you see uh platters of food, and she eventually just motions you to go sit.
00:46:10.480 --> 00:46:12.639
Alright, I'll take a seat next to the fire.
00:46:12.880 --> 00:46:15.599
Well, you'll be staying here for the meantime.
00:46:16.239 --> 00:46:18.480
Please make yourself comfortable.
00:46:20.239 --> 00:46:24.719
Feel free to eat anything you'd like.
00:46:25.760 --> 00:46:29.039
And I apologize again for my behavior from earlier.
00:46:29.679 --> 00:46:30.719
That's alright.
00:46:30.880 --> 00:46:32.639
Thank you for your hospitality.
00:46:32.880 --> 00:46:35.840
Have you did you see where our friend Lee went?
00:46:36.000 --> 00:46:39.280
He is now with Ben, Ben de Win.
00:46:40.239 --> 00:46:42.000
You have no need to worry.
00:46:43.039 --> 00:46:43.360
Okay.
00:46:43.599 --> 00:46:45.519
He'll be joining us soon at home.
00:46:47.039 --> 00:46:48.320
Eventually.
00:46:48.880 --> 00:46:50.159
You're safe here.
00:46:50.559 --> 00:46:52.159
Awesome, thank you.
00:46:52.800 --> 00:46:58.079
She turns to leave, and you three are alone with Frost here.
00:46:58.400 --> 00:47:05.920
Wagner, you're taking a look around, and tell me what's what was your vision of your home?
00:47:06.079 --> 00:47:11.360
And how much does this hold up to to what you had envisioned?
00:47:12.800 --> 00:47:25.199
I don't remember everything fully, but some things are similar to me, especially the tree like the buildings set across the tree line and the bridges connecting all of these said buildings.
00:47:26.480 --> 00:47:30.960
I don't remember the fire like in the middle of this room.
00:47:32.559 --> 00:47:36.719
Nor do I remember the guards.
00:47:37.679 --> 00:47:41.519
But I think that's just because I was younger and I didn't pay attention to it.
00:47:41.760 --> 00:47:46.800
But overall, I feel I feel happy to be back to what I know is my home village.
00:47:46.960 --> 00:47:48.639
It just something feels off.
00:47:49.360 --> 00:47:55.360
Sure, so you notice um there's like a you notice Wagnu making some kind of face, you know.
00:47:55.599 --> 00:47:58.320
Like a almost uneasy.
00:47:58.639 --> 00:48:00.320
Uh what's going on, Wagnu?
00:48:00.559 --> 00:48:01.360
You feel alright?
00:48:01.519 --> 00:48:05.840
I thought you'd be more excited about uh finding your hometown.
00:48:06.800 --> 00:48:09.119
Yeah, I'm I'm alright.
00:48:09.199 --> 00:48:11.760
I just I'm glad to be back, don't get me wrong.
00:48:11.920 --> 00:48:15.280
It's it's so beautiful to see it all.
00:48:15.760 --> 00:48:19.039
But I don't know, something just feels off.
00:48:19.519 --> 00:48:23.280
The whole thing with Lee, they raised their weapons at him.
00:48:24.400 --> 00:48:32.159
I don't remember my home village being this cautious?
00:48:32.960 --> 00:48:36.639
And they keep bringing up this thing, they keep saying you're safe here.
00:48:37.920 --> 00:48:38.559
Hmm.
00:48:39.599 --> 00:48:41.920
Oh, we can always check things out.
00:48:42.239 --> 00:48:44.639
You should have family here, right?
00:48:44.880 --> 00:48:52.159
We can always go look for them after uh after we take a little rest, kind of recover a little bit.
00:48:53.679 --> 00:48:57.280
Always try to go and find uh your aunts, your uncles.
00:48:58.079 --> 00:49:08.239
And then like a wave of silence will hit me as I answer to Shusui.
00:49:08.800 --> 00:49:11.360
I don't even know if that's true.
00:49:11.599 --> 00:49:13.840
I don't even know if I have anyone here.
00:49:14.719 --> 00:49:18.079
But you're right, tired minds don't think right.
00:49:20.639 --> 00:49:24.639
And I'll just ask Shusui and Black Sky too, like, how are you guys feeling?
00:49:24.719 --> 00:49:25.440
How you guys feeling?
00:49:28.719 --> 00:49:32.480
I'm attributing most of that to probably just cultural differences.
00:49:33.440 --> 00:49:39.599
They seem they seem friendly enough once they uh realized we weren't a threat.
00:49:40.960 --> 00:49:42.239
I guess that's fair.
00:49:42.559 --> 00:49:43.119
Wait.
00:49:43.679 --> 00:49:45.679
Do you hear you guys?
00:49:46.320 --> 00:49:47.840
Do you hear yourselves right now?
00:49:48.000 --> 00:49:53.039
They they realized we weren't a threat?
00:49:53.199 --> 00:49:56.079
I mean I I don't know.
00:49:56.559 --> 00:49:59.280
If anything, this place feels weird to me.
00:49:59.679 --> 00:50:01.119
Gives me the creeps.
00:50:01.360 --> 00:50:04.719
They said they haven't had visitors for a long while.
00:50:04.960 --> 00:50:08.960
Doesn't this kinda remind you of Kaesh?
00:50:09.280 --> 00:50:09.840
Hmm.
00:50:10.719 --> 00:50:15.440
And they said they haven't had visitors for a long while, too.
00:50:16.559 --> 00:50:28.000
I don't I'm not sorry, Wagnu, I don't want to ruin your homecoming, but it just it just reminds me too much of Kaesh.
00:50:28.639 --> 00:50:29.440
No, no.
00:50:29.679 --> 00:50:30.639
I understand.
00:50:31.360 --> 00:50:35.760
Honestly, a big part of me is really happy to be back.
00:50:36.079 --> 00:50:45.920
I think it's just I'm somewhere in the back of my mind I'm thinking it's too good to be too good to be true.
00:50:46.239 --> 00:50:49.360
I do a investigation check?
00:50:49.679 --> 00:50:51.280
Yeah, what are you trying to investigate?
00:50:51.440 --> 00:50:52.159
What are you looking for?
00:50:52.400 --> 00:50:53.679
Where's the music?
00:50:59.199 --> 00:51:01.280
You can actually give me a perception check.
00:51:01.360 --> 00:51:03.679
Not an investigation check, perception check.
00:51:05.440 --> 00:51:06.000
Alright.
00:51:09.599 --> 00:51:12.880
Oh my god! This is a four.
00:51:12.960 --> 00:51:13.920
It's it's a four.
00:51:15.360 --> 00:51:21.360
Yeah, you um you for sure recall when you guys were down below, you heard music before you guys came up.
00:51:21.519 --> 00:51:22.559
Um you just don't hear anything.
00:51:22.719 --> 00:51:24.159
You don't you don't know what's going on.
00:51:24.320 --> 00:51:26.639
You can't quite wrap your head around it.
00:51:27.599 --> 00:51:28.480
Alright.
00:51:28.800 --> 00:51:33.039
And uh I'll bring that up to Wagnu, I guess.
00:51:33.280 --> 00:51:45.840
Um Wagnu, you said you came from a village of music, but I mean, when we passed by there's music, but uh wouldn't this village be more festive?
00:51:46.559 --> 00:51:51.440
Especially at a well at a homecoming or a welcoming guest.
00:51:51.679 --> 00:51:56.079
There's there's no celebration, we're just in a hut.
00:51:56.639 --> 00:51:59.599
With a fire contained, oddly enough.
00:52:01.679 --> 00:52:10.559
Yeah, in my memories I I hear the songs, but now it's you're right, it's definitely quieter.
00:52:11.920 --> 00:52:12.480
Hmm.
00:52:13.119 --> 00:52:19.119
Uh when I get the chance, I'll try to talk to one of the residents here and ask them about it.
00:52:20.400 --> 00:52:28.239
I mean, now that you mention it, when we were down there, uh they poked what was it, the guards?
00:52:28.320 --> 00:52:34.000
They poked their heads out of the trees, and they seem to recognize uh they recognize Lee.
00:52:34.400 --> 00:52:39.519
But once we got here, the only one who recognizes them seems to be uh Raviki.
00:52:41.840 --> 00:52:45.039
Oh my gosh, is we you're a genius.
00:52:46.239 --> 00:52:46.960
You're right.
00:52:47.119 --> 00:52:52.079
How didn't how did that how did Lee not catch that?
00:52:53.679 --> 00:52:56.639
I don't know, but I think we should stay on our toes.
00:52:56.800 --> 00:53:01.039
And definitely if we gotta find Lee soon.
00:53:02.480 --> 00:53:03.119
Yeah.
00:53:03.760 --> 00:53:04.320
Uh let's.
00:53:04.800 --> 00:53:06.239
I say we go right now.
00:53:06.880 --> 00:53:07.760
Right now?
00:53:09.920 --> 00:53:10.880
I mean.
00:53:12.320 --> 00:53:16.000
I would say yeah, right now.
00:53:16.239 --> 00:53:17.360
Who's gonna stop us?
00:53:20.559 --> 00:53:22.320
I I've been drunk once.
00:53:22.480 --> 00:53:23.679
I'd I'd rather.
00:53:24.159 --> 00:53:26.239
If we don't trust them, we don't trust them.
00:53:26.559 --> 00:53:26.960
Hmm.
00:53:27.119 --> 00:53:28.880
Uh I turn towards Frost.
00:53:29.440 --> 00:53:31.679
Do you think you can find Lee?
00:53:32.480 --> 00:53:36.159
He gives you like a small a small little bark.
00:53:36.960 --> 00:53:40.320
Um He seems like he's willing to try.
00:53:40.559 --> 00:53:46.800
If you have anything that can aid him in it, his chances can be would be higher.
00:53:48.079 --> 00:53:53.519
Do we have anything of uh leave, bro?
00:53:53.920 --> 00:53:55.119
I don't think so.
00:53:56.400 --> 00:53:58.880
All I like I gave him the wind artifact.
00:53:58.960 --> 00:54:05.360
That's basically the only thing that he has that we had, but it's not like something we break apart and give him.
00:54:06.880 --> 00:54:09.119
Uh seriously, roll me a luck check.
00:54:09.199 --> 00:54:11.360
We're just we'll do we'll let the luck decide.
00:54:11.519 --> 00:54:11.920
Let's go.
00:54:13.519 --> 00:54:16.320
Oh force.
00:54:16.639 --> 00:54:17.360
Oh my god.
00:54:17.599 --> 00:54:23.360
But did his real die or yeah, it should have just done perception.
00:54:23.760 --> 00:54:25.199
He has like a back to back.
00:54:27.440 --> 00:54:28.159
Yeah, no.
00:54:28.320 --> 00:54:36.719
You don't have anything that belongs to Lee, so he pross will help you, but it's not gonna be like an easy find or anything.
00:54:37.039 --> 00:54:39.760
Do we have any spells that can help us find him?
00:54:41.360 --> 00:54:43.360
I let me check.
00:54:43.519 --> 00:54:44.800
I don't think so.
00:54:46.800 --> 00:54:54.559
I have no, there's no well actually yes.
00:54:56.000 --> 00:54:56.559
Wait.
00:54:58.159 --> 00:54:59.119
Alright, yes.
00:54:59.280 --> 00:55:00.719
Yes, yes, there is.
00:55:01.679 --> 00:55:06.239
I have a psionic spell called sending unlimited range.
00:55:06.559 --> 00:55:07.039
Ooh.
00:55:07.280 --> 00:55:14.880
I can send a short message of 25 words to a creature I have met or a creature described to you by someone who asks medic.
00:55:14.960 --> 00:55:15.280
Wow.
00:55:15.519 --> 00:55:22.639
The target hears the message in its mind, recognizes you as a sender if it knows you, and can answer in a like manner immediately.
00:55:23.119 --> 00:55:25.679
The spell enables the target to understand the meaning of your message.
00:55:25.840 --> 00:55:29.599
So pretty much, yeah, any anyone I've met, I could just Dude, that's amazing.
00:55:29.760 --> 00:55:30.559
Wait, that's crazy.
00:55:30.639 --> 00:55:31.199
Let's do that.
00:55:31.360 --> 00:55:36.559
Alright, what what should we What should we tell Lee?
00:55:37.039 --> 00:55:41.280
Uh I mean, I don't want to freak him out by saying we don't trust his people.
00:55:41.679 --> 00:55:44.400
Or I mean Walk News people too, if anything.
00:55:44.480 --> 00:55:45.119
If they are.
00:55:45.440 --> 00:55:51.679
Tell him something's off and to meet us in like the the village like center earlier.
00:55:52.159 --> 00:55:55.679
And come as soon as possible, but discreet.
00:55:56.000 --> 00:56:02.800
And we should come up with some sort of uh way to tell him that we're in danger if it comes to that.
00:56:03.039 --> 00:56:07.199
Um tell him if we're in danger to listen for the thunder.
00:56:07.519 --> 00:56:07.760
Okay.
00:56:08.239 --> 00:56:08.880
Walk new.
00:56:09.199 --> 00:56:10.320
Are you sure you want to do this?
00:56:10.400 --> 00:56:12.880
It I didn't want to ruin your homecoming.
00:56:13.920 --> 00:56:17.599
I'd rather us be safe.
00:56:17.840 --> 00:56:18.719
I'm glad to be back.
00:56:19.199 --> 00:56:22.559
Worst case scenario, we apologize and nothing happens.
00:56:23.119 --> 00:56:29.119
But but if this is like the other village, let's just be cautious.
00:56:29.360 --> 00:56:30.880
Alright, here goes nothing.
00:56:31.039 --> 00:56:31.440
Right.
00:56:31.679 --> 00:56:34.239
Alright, and I will cast Ascending.
00:56:34.960 --> 00:56:37.119
Alright, what do you what's your 25 words?
00:56:39.119 --> 00:56:39.440
Okay.
00:56:39.920 --> 00:56:40.880
I've never heard of this.
00:56:40.960 --> 00:56:41.760
It's so cool.
00:56:44.239 --> 00:56:45.360
It's a broken spell.
00:56:45.519 --> 00:56:47.199
Yeah, that's kind of insane.
00:56:48.480 --> 00:56:49.599
It's my favorite.
00:56:49.760 --> 00:56:50.719
One of my favorite spells.
00:56:51.119 --> 00:56:52.079
Ascending.
00:56:53.119 --> 00:57:12.480
It's sky meets us where we originally entered through the lift to the bridge.
00:57:13.599 --> 00:57:14.639
That's 13.
00:57:16.239 --> 00:57:29.280
And then um if you hear thunder, that means this place isn't safe.
00:57:30.239 --> 00:57:31.840
Danger, danger.
00:57:32.400 --> 00:57:35.519
Danger, and then boom, the second danger doesn't go through.
00:57:35.679 --> 00:57:38.960
But then we transition to Lee with that sending his bell taken off.
00:57:40.239 --> 00:57:44.079
Lee, you are walking.
00:57:44.320 --> 00:57:48.559
Are you walking alongside or behind Benwin?
00:57:48.960 --> 00:57:50.320
Uh alongside.
00:57:58.400 --> 00:58:03.440
how it used to, but the wind here smells the same.
00:58:06.159 --> 00:58:08.800
Fenwin doesn't look like how he used to.
00:58:09.519 --> 00:58:15.440
But the way he you see us, the way he laughs, the way he jokes.
00:58:16.400 --> 00:58:19.119
Despite his his new status.
00:58:20.159 --> 00:58:21.920
It's still Finwin.
00:58:22.320 --> 00:58:24.000
Where have you been, Lee?
00:58:26.400 --> 00:58:28.400
I really thought you were dead.
00:58:28.880 --> 00:58:31.360
I'm not quite sure how to explain.
00:58:32.559 --> 00:58:33.840
That day.
00:58:35.679 --> 00:58:37.920
The day you pushed me away.
00:58:40.559 --> 00:58:46.559
And then we were suddenly engulfed in some kind of light, and you see as he raises his left arm.
00:58:49.760 --> 00:58:51.599
I thought I lost you.
00:58:53.920 --> 00:58:57.519
The scar was a reminder of that day.
00:58:58.239 --> 00:59:06.239
I I thought I was gone for a long time, but uh I I didn't think I was gone this long.
00:59:09.280 --> 00:59:11.599
Two hundred years, my friend.
00:59:15.199 --> 00:59:20.559
I mean look look at me, do I look 200 years older?
00:59:21.440 --> 00:59:22.960
He looks at you.
00:59:27.519 --> 00:59:39.039
I mean, if I was honest, even though I'm older than even though I look older than you, or I mean, even though I am older than I definitely look better still.
00:59:39.360 --> 00:59:50.639
I'm not too sure about that, but you see as like the skin on your um on your like your hands and stuff, they're like all um they're worn.
00:59:50.800 --> 00:59:54.400
You've been you've been battling a lot.
00:59:55.039 --> 01:00:00.960
Compared to his skin, and you see it's like fair, it's it's shining.
01:00:02.880 --> 01:00:04.960
What you would expect from an elf.
01:00:06.000 --> 01:00:19.599
You were never much of a fighter, but um, what what happened while I was gone a lot.
01:00:21.119 --> 01:00:29.679
I can't I mean I can't tell you everything that has has happened in the last 200 years in just a couple of minutes.
01:00:30.960 --> 01:00:35.440
Maybe over some water, he winks at you.
01:00:35.679 --> 01:00:36.960
I'd like that.
01:00:38.639 --> 01:00:39.920
I'll kind of look around.
01:00:40.480 --> 01:00:44.000
Yeah, this place is so much different than I remember.
01:00:47.119 --> 01:00:47.760
Yeah.
01:00:49.280 --> 01:00:51.039
After you went away.
01:00:53.679 --> 01:00:54.800
Say let's see.
01:00:58.960 --> 01:01:04.000
He said he saw something in his dreams.
01:01:04.880 --> 01:01:10.480
Something about the trees being engulfed in darkness.
01:01:12.639 --> 01:01:15.599
And so he changed up Drenner.
01:01:16.880 --> 01:01:18.639
Rebuilt it in a way.
01:01:19.679 --> 01:01:21.920
To make it safer for us.
01:01:22.880 --> 01:01:30.960
Well, I think that that group I was with could probably enlighten you some on that.
01:01:31.039 --> 01:01:36.719
They haven't fully told me everything, but they're after the person who who killed Kenneth.
01:01:36.960 --> 01:01:38.639
You're telling me he's dead now?
01:01:39.039 --> 01:01:41.039
I was as shocked as you are.
01:01:41.519 --> 01:01:41.840
Oh.
01:01:43.920 --> 01:01:46.960
But I'm so sorry, Lee.
01:01:47.679 --> 01:01:54.239
I'm gonna I'm going to find the person that did it and find out why.
01:01:55.199 --> 01:01:58.639
But like I said, I don't know all the details of the group.
01:01:59.679 --> 01:02:06.079
But they do know a lot about what's been going on with other towns, I believe.
01:02:07.519 --> 01:02:08.159
I see.
01:02:10.480 --> 01:02:10.800
Oh.
01:02:11.519 --> 01:02:15.360
You always were one to be trusting.
01:02:15.760 --> 01:02:21.280
And you know, your instincts were always right.
01:02:21.679 --> 01:02:23.199
Should we go back then?
01:02:23.760 --> 01:02:26.000
Should we host a party today?
01:02:27.440 --> 01:02:28.800
Or your homecoming.
01:02:29.039 --> 01:02:30.079
That'd be quite nice.
01:02:30.239 --> 01:02:30.800
Thank you.
01:02:31.039 --> 01:02:32.639
I want to show you something, Lee.
01:02:32.880 --> 01:02:40.480
And as you meet, like, finally reach your destination of where he's been he's been leading you towards.
01:02:41.039 --> 01:02:43.920
You see, um on the on the ground.
01:02:44.719 --> 01:02:50.000
You're at what seems to be like the highest point of the tree now.
01:02:51.519 --> 01:02:59.840
And on at that point you see one wooden slab with your name on it.
01:03:00.960 --> 01:03:04.079
I mean, you always did like this view.
01:03:04.400 --> 01:03:07.119
Well, we don't need this anymore.
01:03:07.280 --> 01:03:07.599
Um.
01:03:10.159 --> 01:03:14.400
But if you don't mind, I would like to put Kenneth's name here instead.
01:03:15.360 --> 01:03:16.320
Of course.
01:03:16.559 --> 01:03:22.159
And he just steps back, holds his arms, and lets you take it away.
01:03:22.480 --> 01:03:31.840
I'll pull out a dagger from my bag and um kind of scratch out my name and write Kenneth's underneath it.
01:03:32.480 --> 01:03:37.599
And I'll kind of just stare at it for a minute before I stand back up.
01:03:37.920 --> 01:03:42.320
As you do that, a breeze passes by you.
01:03:42.480 --> 01:03:47.679
The sun starts to glow a little bit more brighter.
01:03:48.400 --> 01:03:50.079
Shusui on the other side.
01:03:50.320 --> 01:03:55.039
Shusui, your scarf tugs at your neck.
01:03:55.599 --> 01:03:56.719
A little tighter.
01:03:56.960 --> 01:04:00.719
And then all of a sudden a message hits your head, Lee.
01:04:00.880 --> 01:04:03.199
And you hear Black Sky's voice.
01:04:03.760 --> 01:04:06.000
And then the last word you heard, danger.
01:04:06.480 --> 01:04:10.000
And I can respond with 25 words as well.
01:04:10.239 --> 01:04:10.719
Yeah.
01:04:15.920 --> 01:04:18.320
Um, I'll just say.
01:04:31.760 --> 01:04:32.079
Okay.
01:04:33.840 --> 01:04:40.880
And if you go back to Sky and Wagnu and Shoes Lui as that message comes back to you, what are you three doing now?
01:04:43.119 --> 01:04:45.679
So, did you Did he say anything back?
01:04:45.760 --> 01:04:46.400
I'll just ask.
01:04:46.719 --> 01:04:48.639
He said like Black Sky.
01:04:49.039 --> 01:04:54.480
He said to not make ourselves enemies, and it's okay to be cautious.
01:04:54.639 --> 01:04:56.800
If there's danger, he'll find us.
01:04:57.840 --> 01:05:02.400
So, technically, he didn't say we couldn't go snoop around.
01:05:08.400 --> 01:05:09.199
How are you guys feeling?
01:05:09.360 --> 01:05:11.119
I still think we should go take a look.
01:05:13.760 --> 01:05:21.760
Yeah, I mean, we just say that uh you're taking a tour of the village trying to you know re-kindle old memories.
01:05:22.159 --> 01:05:26.480
And uh oh we're doing that, we can snoop around.
01:05:26.719 --> 01:05:33.679
We have to find the uh we have to find the artifact anyway, so cover is anything.
01:05:34.480 --> 01:05:34.800
Right.
01:05:34.960 --> 01:05:36.400
And I mean, come on.
01:05:36.800 --> 01:05:44.000
Lee said 20 years, but they slipped up and said it's been more than 150 years.
01:05:44.880 --> 01:05:51.039
So I mean, if anything, I think Lee's out of touch with this place.
01:05:51.840 --> 01:05:54.000
Just a senile old man.
01:05:54.639 --> 01:06:02.480
Yeah, I don't I don't know what's going on exactly, but I want to give Lee the benefit of the doubt, and he told us not to make enemies.
01:06:02.800 --> 01:06:04.079
So let's trust him at least.
01:06:09.760 --> 01:06:10.719
Alright.
01:06:12.000 --> 01:06:12.559
Alright.
01:06:12.800 --> 01:06:14.079
Or you guys had it.
01:06:17.199 --> 01:06:19.920
Is there anything you're looking for particular?
01:06:20.079 --> 01:06:23.199
Like any what are you searching for?
01:06:24.400 --> 01:06:28.159
Before we leave, could we investigate the meat?
01:06:29.119 --> 01:06:30.320
Yeah, yeah.
01:06:30.800 --> 01:06:37.760
Go ahead, roll me with uh let's see, let's have you do an animal handling check.
01:06:41.119 --> 01:06:42.800
You gotta see what meat it is, right, Dr.
01:06:42.960 --> 01:06:44.000
Looking for that nature.
01:06:45.440 --> 01:06:46.239
That's awesome.
01:06:46.639 --> 01:06:50.800
It's animal handling I was gonna say man.
01:06:51.280 --> 01:07:04.000
Frost should be able to tell no sense of smell you went looking you went looking for animal handling like you gotta have frost check bro.
01:07:04.079 --> 01:12:47.199
I didn't I didn't roll good you gotta have but didn't frost go looking for leave to go look for the uh Skycasted uh center Alright okay yeah have frost check because I rolled at 11 I think his his animal nose would be better than our eyes I mean yeah I I guess I'll like grab a piece of meat and try to see if uh frost will will eat it or not yeah you feed it frost eats it he smiles at you it's like the dog grinning you know the teeth showing uh can I do a uh can I sniff the food see if like I notice anything like off of it yeah yeah go ahead you sniff it um let's see uh would you like me it animal handling animal handling we're handling the uh uh cooked animal that is true that's true that is true come on man like perception nature medicine don't make sense animal handling come on animal handling to to handle the cooked animal all right I got eight uh it's me it it's edible it smells good uh uh oh well I'll just feed Frost another piece before I guess a nature check would probably make more sense though go ahead roll me a nature check okay that's a 14 okay that's better let's go yeah you you uh you're taking a look at it um you smell a little bit it it smells like like some kind of like beefy beefy smell I go uh wong do we we should ask them what this is it does smell like normal meat but I'm kinda curious how they're getting meat here kinda in the middle of nowhere like you saw how difficult it was for us to catch even just a rabbit so how are they getting this meat yeah and they're up in the trees huh yeah like if it was fish they could just get it at the river but I don't remember eating a lot of meat growing up but I definitely developed a taste for it but I mean here why not just give it a try and I will take a bit out of the meat It tastes like barbecued beef yeah hmm that's good that's that's definitely chicken no it's just regular meat you guys and then I'll finish off the piece wanted to check um I don't think this hut has much so I'm I'm ready to leave yeah let's uh let's go investigating wait wait wait wait wait wait actually I'm curious about something um do we have access to the fire pit is it like a glass off fire pit is it water no yes it's not it's not glass off or anything you have access to it okay I am gonna reach and grab a piece of uh timber from the fire pit and drop it on the hut just on the floor drop it on the hut yeah like the floor the floor of the hut okay yeah you do that you drop it on the hut um the leaves around it starts to catch on fire and it's starting to spread what are you doing sky I say as I swallowed down the uh the edge of sea I will cast stormed smoke oh gosh I help me wait wait guys help me turn help me kill the fire help me kill the fire I just empty my water skin on top of it I'm just over here like casting sources burst casting cold everywhere yeah you empty your water skin uh it it kills eventually um Sky give me Arcana check as well alright let's go die don't lie oooh 18 18 um when you when you dropped uh when you got the fire onto that temp that piece of wood and you dropped it um there was an odd sensation from that that flame it wasn't like what you're used to you're someone who plays with fire a lot you you use fire magic you know uh the sensation of that fire that flame from the pit it was a little bit more cool but you're only able to realize that when you got that close like touching close but when you're away from it like you're standing away from it you feel the warmth is giving off and then I'll turn to um Wagnus Wii and then oh sorry guys I was just it's just so odd to me the the fire in the trees and they say they haven't had a fire in years.
01:12:47.439 --> 01:13:26.960
I mean nothing is just adding up I just I just hope we're not inside a magic barrier of some sort so I mean to I figure if they live here they must have uh found a way to deal with fires you know it's a pretty big necessity just enchanted their homes and you know not burn as well that means it's some very strong magic barrier if there hasn't been a fire for 200 years.
01:13:27.119 --> 01:13:28.880
Anyways this place gives me the creep.
01:13:28.960 --> 01:14:04.479
I'm ready I'm ready to leave yeah let's go check out the rest of the the village you guys start to head out from from the hut and as you head out you see Lee and Benwin walking towards you too Wow what a coincidence right when we were leaving Wait where's Lee They're right in front of you as they're walk like they're walking towards you guys as you are now outside like outside the hut.
01:14:04.720 --> 01:14:50.239
Oh there okay he looks to be in one piece yeah maybe uh I don't know it's it's been a long time since he's been home too so we'll uh we'll keep investigating but for now I say just let him uh let him kinda enjoy being home yeah yeah of course of course and I'm sure they wouldn't mind us exploring the village as guests right yeah I mean they shouldn't I mean Wagnu used to be from here too so wait Wagnu do you is that something you want to disclose to Fenwin?
01:14:50.319 --> 01:15:07.920
He's Um I don't know they weren't too kind to us earlier when they thought we were just random visitors so I don't know if me dropping that that bombshell with some information on him might make them more suspicious or what?
01:15:08.159 --> 01:15:14.399
Besides I cut off my ears a lot long time ago so it makes it extra suspicious.
01:15:14.800 --> 01:20:30.319
I mean even if they don't recognize or remember you they might recognize or remember your family like that's a good point I don't think it's been that long since you've been gone they should someone should remember something right I mean it's just odd to me that the leader of this village doesn't remember one of the the the villagers according to him it has been 200 years can't can't remember everyone at that point uh Fenwin now approaches you with Lee right next to him I see you are ready to go and tour Drenor Please uh make yourself at home I'll prepare a party for the homecoming of my friend as he turns towards Lee have fun enjoy the trees and the wind sorry how how rude of me and then before uh Finn leaves I'll reach out to shake his hand I'll introduce myself my name is Skye and when he reaches out to uh shake my hand if he does I'll try to uh pickpocket him okay uh he reaches out to re to shake your hand how are you trying to pickpocket him uh I'll pull him in for a hug okay first pickpocket him okay cool um what's your strength oh my god this guy is strong then 14 14 okay you pull him in uh go ahead and try to pickpocket him all right uh look at the knot that's what my master said die don't lie oh my god 26 let's go 26 jeez um you go and you start rummaging through stealthily of course so it's 26 so high even not even not even uh unless they want to roll against you to see if they can notice um they wouldn't even see it so unless Chusui or Wagner or uh Lee wants to perceive this you guys can you guys want to try uh yeah I'll try that's pretty high like see black sky hugging someone it seems highly suspicious uh what is this for seven uh nope only eleven uh man okay um finwin isn't a guy who carries around like much of him um he's the leader of this place and he does feel pretty safe here very safe actually so when you go into pickpocket him he doesn't have too much things on him but with a 26th you do pull out what feels like some sort of like a small little piece of branch and as you pocket it uh your eyes catch it real quick because you don't want it to make it too noticeable and you see that this branch is a golden a golden color okay uh didn't expect to be a hugger as he pushes himself away from you a little bit interesting friends here you got Lee sorry it's just just my love language anyways I suggest you four uh go and see Draenor it's better if you just experience it for yourself you're done come back here and we'll really show you what Draenor is all about okay I'm excited I have a question for you Fenwin ask away where do you gather to play music you ask music his eyes open up his face like lights up a little bit oh you want to hear music do you yeah let's save it for the part I promise you you won't be disappointed alright I'm excited then and if my allies and I needed to touch up our weapons where could we go?
01:20:30.960 --> 01:21:12.319
Well we don't have too many stuff here but we do have uh he's an odd one Rabai not really a much of a a blacksmith per se but he does collect some pretty some pretty weird things some pretty odd things and hey if you if you like it maybe he would trade you alright thank you I appreciate that oh and be nice to him and he goes back he goes into the hut where you came out from uh as he does you suddenly see like ten elves who just rush from behind him um from where the bridge is and where Lee had to king from earlier and they entered the hut as well.
01:21:12.560 --> 01:21:14.800
Uh-huh and then where are you guys headed?
01:21:15.039 --> 01:21:30.800
I'm down to head over to find Ravai just to look at his items you know see what he has okay yeah same along the way I wanna like talk to Lee like so what happened?
01:21:31.039 --> 01:21:35.600
Uh there seemed to be some sort of uh misunderstand.
01:21:36.319 --> 01:21:43.840
It seems the town of Drennor had believed that I had been dead for 200 years.
01:21:44.159 --> 01:21:44.720
What?
01:21:45.359 --> 01:21:46.960
Two hundred years?
01:21:47.520 --> 01:23:26.159
Yeah well I'm not sure exactly but from my knowledge I've I've been gone for 20 years but I'm not sure exactly what's going if time works differently here or what I see that's but you recognize Benwin no yes he looks quite different um the last time we saw each other we were kids but um I do recognize he had the his smile same smile and jokes however he looks much older black sky also brought up yeah it's a little strange I agree about that say uh Shusui uh yeah about how old how old did Kenneth look to you when he died I mean it's uh hard conversion with elf years since I'm not really an elf but he didn't seem that old not for sure not as old as uh as Benwin.
01:23:26.319 --> 01:23:36.479
Hmm strange uh yeah uh about this uh issue with time what year do you think it is?
01:23:36.800 --> 01:23:43.760
That's a good question what year would I think it is we what year do you have on your notes?
01:23:44.079 --> 01:27:14.560
Uh alright let me flip all the way to the back like section one oh shit uh insane ball knowledge right here I believe it was like 1770 1178 1178 uh what I have down here yeah I'll be that that sounds actually yeah Lee that's that's what you would know okay so I would you said 1170 okay 1170 I believe the year is 1178 and that matches up with like what I think the current year is wait no no no can I interject Sky like I'm assuming we're like in a conversation as you hear uh Lee says 1178 you can interject if you want 1178 what that's if you guys don't remember that's an Elder Tubbs journal that's when Elder Tubbs is talking about your What is that right eleven 1178 has been a while ago I mean I would know because I'd burned down the village but yeah that's so strange And Lee you did say this place looks fairly different from what you remember right yes um uh Finn told me that uh Salis the the previous leader of Brenner uh took actions to make it uh more easily protected Oh see Shizzley give me a history check uh not 20 there we go I'm good at remembering things today let's go Okay I won't remember things today 1178 enters your mind Sky's comment enters your mind you realize that that timeline it's not too far off it's um the time that Ottertub mentioned about Yur and Renji and the time that Doong village had burned it wasn't that long you also get this weird sense and you notice the confusion on Skye's face because 1178 to him sounds weird sounds outrageous but to you it's not and then you how far were you how long were you gone outside of Yuping again?
01:27:14.640 --> 01:27:59.760
It's been it was a couple weeks right yeah like a few months like three four months up to like half a year and then you be you recall back to that that it's been only it was only a few months when you were outside of Yuping and then you recall back to when you met Ottertub at Doong Village and you recall him saying Shu Sui It's been years since I've last seen you Shu Sui you have that realization and um you just see your friends looking at you You're onto something Sky uh something is most definitely going on the the years don't really matter
01:28:02.000 --> 01:28:03.279
This can't be right.
01:28:05.279 --> 01:28:09.359
Uh should we go ask Fenwin what year he thinks it is?
01:28:09.520 --> 01:28:11.279
So we have a third date to compare?
01:28:11.600 --> 01:28:12.800
That sounds like a good idea.
01:28:13.119 --> 01:28:20.880
I mean, we're on a way to see uh Ravain, so Oh yeah, yeah, that's a good idea.
01:28:21.279 --> 01:28:22.159
Ask him.
01:28:22.560 --> 01:28:23.600
Yeah, actually.
01:28:23.760 --> 01:28:25.039
That's that should work.
01:28:25.279 --> 01:28:28.640
And he's the first one to uh remember Lee, so yeah.
01:28:29.359 --> 01:28:32.560
If anything, it should confirm one part of our theory.
01:28:33.199 --> 01:28:34.960
Yeah, we'll try that out.
01:28:35.199 --> 01:28:35.840
I agree.
01:28:36.079 --> 01:28:37.920
Do you know where Ravain is, Lee?
01:28:38.159 --> 01:28:40.000
I believe I could lead us through.
01:28:40.239 --> 01:28:40.720
Awesome.
01:28:40.880 --> 01:28:41.520
Lead the way.
01:28:41.760 --> 01:28:56.960
Go ahead and give me a um you can either give me a history check you're trying to remember, or um just a straight survival check and to see if you can maneuver like maneuver around and just find the quickest way there and hopefully find it.
01:28:58.640 --> 01:28:58.800
Okay.
01:29:00.479 --> 01:29:01.279
Uh ten.
01:29:02.000 --> 01:29:02.319
Ten.
01:29:02.960 --> 01:29:05.520
Uh it's a little different now.
01:29:05.600 --> 01:29:14.640
It's hard for you to to um kind of recall where exactly Hervain's home would be.
01:29:14.800 --> 01:29:21.439
But you do see like a few a few elves around that you could possibly ask for directions.
01:29:21.680 --> 01:29:23.439
Uh yeah, I'll go to post.
01:29:24.640 --> 01:29:30.159
You see um uh a dark-haired, uh, wiry elf.
01:29:30.479 --> 01:29:33.760
Would you be able to help us find uh Rav Ravain?
01:29:34.800 --> 01:29:38.720
Oh, you you guys are the the visitors, uh of course.
01:29:38.880 --> 01:29:43.840
Um so you know where you you came from earlier, right?
01:29:43.920 --> 01:29:44.720
From the lift, right?
01:29:44.800 --> 01:29:51.840
Just just follow that, go back over there a little bit, and um you just make that first left.
01:29:52.079 --> 01:29:52.720
Thanks.
01:29:53.039 --> 01:29:58.800
Uh there he has like a on top of his house, there's like a like a sign, like a weird sign.
01:29:58.880 --> 01:30:01.439
It's a little odd, but uh you won't be able to miss it.
01:30:01.520 --> 01:30:06.319
It's like a like a green diamond, uh two pair like a pair of wings.
01:30:07.199 --> 01:30:08.720
It's very odd.
01:30:09.279 --> 01:30:10.800
Thank you for your help.
01:30:11.119 --> 01:30:12.399
Of course, no problem.
01:30:12.640 --> 01:30:13.119
Have fun.
01:30:13.279 --> 01:30:14.319
Enjoy drenner.
01:30:14.880 --> 01:30:16.239
Start leading him.
01:30:16.720 --> 01:30:24.159
It's hard to be in the way, and eventually you do come up to what seems to be Ravain's home.
01:30:24.640 --> 01:30:28.560
Not a knock on the either the door or the door frame.
01:30:29.760 --> 01:30:32.239
Uh Ravain, are you home?
01:30:32.640 --> 01:30:37.199
Yeah, you go to knock, and the door just like opens up slightly.
01:30:37.920 --> 01:30:43.840
And you it almost your knock just pushes the door open all the way, actually.
01:30:44.640 --> 01:30:48.159
Kind of look for Ravain before I enter.
01:30:49.520 --> 01:30:55.039
You're looking around, um, you don't see him, but you do hear like his voice, his after.
01:30:55.359 --> 01:30:58.560
Uh you hear him like just like clanking things together.
01:31:00.560 --> 01:31:02.560
Okay, I'll turn to the group.
01:31:03.199 --> 01:31:05.119
Uh it's it seems he's inside.
01:31:05.199 --> 01:31:10.159
Uh I'll just we we can probably enter.
01:31:12.079 --> 01:31:15.199
As I'll enter, I'll just I'll try and call out to him.
01:31:15.520 --> 01:31:18.239
Rava Ravain, we're we're here to visit.
01:31:20.319 --> 01:31:30.079
As you go in, um, everyone except for Wagnu, um, you find yourself having to hunch a little bit.
01:31:30.239 --> 01:31:34.640
And you notice that the ceiling is a little bit lower than usual.
01:31:34.880 --> 01:31:38.159
Um, it's it's like a good size for you.
01:31:39.520 --> 01:31:45.600
You don't see him yet, but you do notice around.
01:31:45.840 --> 01:31:51.199
You see like nets full of like bones and like shells and metal scraps.
01:31:51.520 --> 01:31:57.680
You see a sleeping mat that's shoved under a table.
01:31:58.800 --> 01:32:02.880
You see uh chalk marks on the walls.
01:32:04.000 --> 01:32:15.039
Um see some stuff like rattling from the ceilings, and it smells kind of like resin and like old leather.
01:32:15.439 --> 01:32:21.760
As Lee calls for for Ravain, you hear a thump.
01:32:22.640 --> 01:32:25.279
As if his head just hit the table.
01:32:25.840 --> 01:32:27.119
He gets up.
01:32:27.680 --> 01:32:32.800
Oh, Lee! Hi Lee! Hello, hi Ravagin.
01:32:32.960 --> 01:32:36.000
Uh my my my friends here wanted to visit.
01:32:36.319 --> 01:32:38.640
Oh, are are we are we gonna play tag?
01:32:41.119 --> 01:32:42.399
Uh sure.
01:32:42.800 --> 01:32:46.239
I'm sure I'm sure that these three are very good at tag.
01:32:48.640 --> 01:32:49.760
Uh I don't know.
01:32:49.840 --> 01:32:51.680
Uh I don't know, I'm pretty good.
01:32:51.920 --> 01:32:53.920
Well, you might have to go easy on them.
01:32:55.279 --> 01:32:57.760
That's right, I mean, we'd love to play some tag.
01:32:57.920 --> 01:33:03.119
We also heard you have some pretty interesting items, Ravain.
01:33:03.359 --> 01:33:04.560
Is that true?
01:33:05.520 --> 01:33:08.720
Yeah, yeah, I I'd like I like to collect stuff.
01:33:08.960 --> 01:33:10.800
We like to collect stuff too.
01:33:11.039 --> 01:33:13.520
Maybe we can trade a few things.
01:33:13.840 --> 01:33:15.359
Oh, I remember you.
01:33:15.840 --> 01:33:18.800
You were the the nice boy from earlier.
01:33:18.960 --> 01:33:20.079
Yeah, I remember you too.
01:33:20.239 --> 01:33:22.720
You were that guy that's super fast at tag.
01:33:25.600 --> 01:33:27.359
Yeah, my name's Rabbi.
01:33:27.840 --> 01:33:28.800
I'm Wagnu.
01:33:29.520 --> 01:33:32.560
Wagnu, W Wagnu, okay, okay.
01:33:32.800 --> 01:33:35.199
You see him just repeat it a few times.
01:33:35.600 --> 01:33:38.319
What can I see some of your items?
01:33:39.119 --> 01:33:43.760
Oh of course, but but you can't have it.
01:33:44.560 --> 01:33:50.079
Okay, I mean maybe I'll show you some of my items and then we can trade if you are willing.
01:33:51.279 --> 01:33:54.800
He looks over to Lee, his eyes like lights up.
01:33:56.560 --> 01:33:57.600
Can I Lee?
01:33:57.680 --> 01:33:59.039
Can can we trade?
01:34:00.399 --> 01:34:04.399
Yeah, I'm sure they have some quite interesting things.
01:34:04.640 --> 01:34:07.119
They've traveled quite a bit, it seems.
01:34:07.760 --> 01:34:08.079
Okay.
01:34:08.800 --> 01:34:13.359
If Lee says so, who's uh looking around first?
01:34:14.079 --> 01:34:16.960
Um I'll I'll look to trade too.
01:34:17.039 --> 01:34:22.479
I don't think I'm looking around considering I'm tall as fuck and I can't move.
01:34:23.039 --> 01:34:23.359
Yeah.
01:34:23.520 --> 01:34:25.359
I'm done look at his items.
01:34:26.079 --> 01:34:26.399
Okay.
01:34:27.039 --> 01:34:35.840
Um yeah, anyone who's looking around or trying to like make a trade, you can give me an investigation check.
01:34:36.079 --> 01:34:36.800
Gotcha.
01:34:40.479 --> 01:34:41.119
12.
01:34:42.239 --> 01:34:42.960
Damn.
01:34:46.079 --> 01:34:50.000
Anyone who is uh trying to like see what's around.
01:34:50.960 --> 01:34:51.279
Okay.
01:34:52.640 --> 01:34:54.640
All your rolls have been used for history.
01:34:54.800 --> 01:34:55.439
Oh yeah.
01:34:55.920 --> 01:34:56.399
Yeah.
01:34:57.119 --> 01:34:57.439
Yeah.
01:34:58.000 --> 01:34:58.560
Yeah.
01:34:59.520 --> 01:35:00.399
Roll the five.
01:35:02.399 --> 01:35:03.680
Oh, was it perception?
01:35:03.840 --> 01:35:05.279
Yeah, I'm gonna do a little luck.
01:35:05.600 --> 01:35:06.079
Oh invest.
01:35:10.159 --> 01:35:14.239
17 plus 17.
01:35:14.479 --> 01:35:15.039
Nice.
01:35:15.279 --> 01:35:24.159
Uh Sky, yeah, you are a little too tall, so all you do, like you're kind of like too busy trying to make sure you don't hit and bump into anything.
01:35:24.399 --> 01:35:28.560
Not quite not really paying attention to like try to find something right now.
01:35:29.039 --> 01:35:32.800
Shusui, you do You wrote a 12, right?
01:35:32.960 --> 01:35:33.359
Yep.
01:35:33.680 --> 01:35:40.000
Um, you do see like on his table um what seems to be like a a spyglass.
01:35:40.800 --> 01:35:50.640
And when you see the spyglass, you recall it when he had came out from the trees from above to look down on all of you from below.
01:35:51.920 --> 01:35:56.239
He was using the spyglass to like look at you guys, and then he cut out to Lee.
01:35:57.039 --> 01:35:57.600
11.
01:35:57.760 --> 01:35:59.199
What did you roll, Wagnu?
01:36:00.000 --> 01:36:00.640
11.
01:36:00.960 --> 01:36:10.000
And then next to that spyglass, Shusui, you also see uh what seems to look like a like a die, like a six-sided die.
01:36:11.680 --> 01:36:26.800
Wagnu, with your 11, you see um you see a like a 50-foot rope just very messy on the ground that catches your attention.
01:36:27.039 --> 01:36:31.600
Uh you wrote an 18 shift or the uh 17.
01:36:31.840 --> 01:36:32.560
17.
01:36:33.359 --> 01:36:36.399
Yeah, so with a 17, you see all of these things.
01:36:36.479 --> 01:36:40.880
You also see um what seems to look like a funny little hat.
01:36:40.960 --> 01:36:44.800
It looks kind of like it has like a like a funny weird animal on it.
01:36:44.880 --> 01:36:52.000
Uh you can't quite discern like what kind of animal it is exactly, but it has like very big eyes, and it just looks very silly.
01:36:52.079 --> 01:37:07.920
And then you also see um you also see on the walls, it's mounted on the wall, and doesn't seem to look anything too special, but it does stand out.
01:37:08.319 --> 01:37:16.319
And it looks like a helmet and like a two-piece set, a helmet and a chess piece.
01:37:17.760 --> 01:37:25.119
And it looks kind of like some kind of some kind of insect, some kind of weird creature.
01:37:25.439 --> 01:37:28.960
I'll kinda walk up a two-piece set thing.
01:37:29.279 --> 01:37:38.960
And talking to uh Ravaien of Oh, you've expanded your collection quite a bit.
01:37:39.600 --> 01:37:43.840
Yeah, I I I've been I've been doing things.
01:37:44.239 --> 01:37:46.960
There's a lot of things on the ground, people just drop it.
01:37:47.119 --> 01:37:49.039
They don't they don't care.
01:37:49.680 --> 01:37:53.840
Well, uh, I don't have much to trade at the moment, but I would like to give you this.
01:37:53.920 --> 01:38:00.720
And I'll reach into my uh bag and I pull out this small little acorn.
01:38:01.600 --> 01:38:05.840
Uh it's not much, but I collected it while I was gone.
01:38:06.079 --> 01:38:12.319
And I it's brought me a lot of luck, and I would like to give it to you.
01:38:14.319 --> 01:38:18.720
Well a lucky acorn! You just you're gonna give it to me, Lee?
01:38:19.039 --> 01:38:19.920
Of course.
01:38:20.319 --> 01:38:22.000
Oh, oh wow.
01:38:22.720 --> 01:38:26.399
Oh, I'm I'm gonna I'm gonna cherish it forever.
01:38:26.800 --> 01:38:35.520
No, kinda just I'll sit either at the table or just kinda on the ground next to Ravain while everyone else looks through the stuff.
01:38:35.920 --> 01:38:36.239
Okay.
01:38:37.520 --> 01:38:43.760
Uh before I do uh my scandalous activities, I'll give everyone a chance to.
01:38:44.960 --> 01:38:48.399
I just wanted to ask Ravain about the rope that he had.
01:38:48.640 --> 01:38:50.239
The really long rope.
01:38:51.920 --> 01:38:52.239
Oh.
01:38:53.279 --> 01:38:55.680
Uh what you like that rope?
01:38:56.000 --> 01:38:58.239
Very, very, very well made and it's very long.
01:38:58.399 --> 01:38:59.680
Where'd you get this?
01:39:00.880 --> 01:39:03.199
Uh I found it on the ground.
01:39:03.680 --> 01:39:05.039
It it's so annoying.
01:39:05.119 --> 01:39:07.119
I I keep cutting it, but it won't cut it.
01:39:08.720 --> 01:39:11.520
I can't like I can't I can't even use it.
01:39:12.479 --> 01:39:14.960
I just want like a feet of it, but I can't.
01:39:15.279 --> 01:39:16.640
I see, I see.
01:39:17.359 --> 01:39:18.399
How about this?
01:39:18.640 --> 01:39:21.680
I think this rope, it's a little a little strange.
01:39:21.840 --> 01:39:24.880
I'll trade you for this rope that I have here.
01:39:25.039 --> 01:39:27.439
And then I will take out the rope from my pack.
01:39:28.720 --> 01:39:31.039
Can I trade it?
01:39:31.199 --> 01:39:33.760
And then I'll I'll kinda like lay it out in front of him.
01:39:37.279 --> 01:39:44.800
Um something near him, um, like a little knife or something, and he would just start sawing at it.
01:39:45.039 --> 01:39:51.039
And you see as your rope splits in half, and he he gets like a wide grin.
01:39:51.760 --> 01:39:54.800
Whoa! There, you can have that one.
01:39:55.920 --> 01:39:56.720
That one sucks.
01:39:56.960 --> 01:39:57.439
Yeah.
01:39:57.760 --> 01:39:58.560
Thanks, thanks.
01:39:58.640 --> 01:40:00.159
I think it's a fair trade.
01:40:00.800 --> 01:40:03.600
Okay, no, no takes, no take backs.
01:40:04.000 --> 01:40:09.520
Okay, you can remove that rope from your inventory and you can add a rope amending to your your bag.
01:40:10.159 --> 01:40:12.000
We'll never have a rope again.
01:40:12.319 --> 01:40:13.039
Oh late.
01:40:13.279 --> 01:40:16.319
Uh yeah, I'll go and uh check out the spyglass.
01:40:16.960 --> 01:40:20.880
See if it's just a regular spy glass or if there's anything like to it.
01:40:21.680 --> 01:40:24.560
Uh yeah, you go and check out the spy glass.
01:40:24.640 --> 01:40:28.159
Uh is there like a specific way you're looking at it?
01:40:28.319 --> 01:40:30.319
Are you gonna put it on or anything?
01:40:30.640 --> 01:40:41.920
Uh oh, yeah, I'm just gonna like, I don't know, try and like look through look at the like horizon or wherever unobscured like line of sight there is.
01:40:42.079 --> 01:40:44.319
Try to see like how much zoom it is there.
01:40:44.800 --> 01:40:57.680
Yeah, you uh you put it on and it it just seems like a very well-made uh it's it's not like um it doesn't look nice, but when you're using it, it does you do see very good in it.
01:40:57.840 --> 01:41:09.039
And you're like playing around with it, looking at the horizon, and then you suddenly like come down and it's it logs on to this this die that I was next to.
01:41:09.439 --> 01:41:13.199
Uh yeah, I mean I'll check out the die too.
01:41:13.680 --> 01:41:16.479
Kind of kinda pick it up, kinda like look at it.
01:41:17.600 --> 01:41:20.319
Kind of curious why there's the random dice here.
01:41:20.960 --> 01:41:27.279
Yeah, you pick up the die and um you're looking at it and it just kinda drops from your hand.
01:41:27.840 --> 01:41:34.159
Um as it drops, just give me a number that you're thinking about.
01:41:34.399 --> 01:41:35.359
1 through 6.
01:41:35.600 --> 01:41:37.359
1 through 6, 3.
01:41:38.239 --> 01:41:41.600
And you see as the die lands exactly on that number.
01:41:41.760 --> 01:41:42.960
I try rolling it again.
01:41:43.119 --> 01:41:44.640
This time I think about two.
01:41:46.000 --> 01:41:49.119
And you see as you roll it, it lands exactly on number two.
01:41:49.439 --> 01:41:50.319
Interesting.
01:41:53.119 --> 01:41:54.640
Uh I go.
01:41:56.079 --> 01:41:57.520
I kinda want these two.
01:41:57.680 --> 01:42:01.760
And then I pull out uh I pull out the diamond and I go, here, do you want this?
01:42:02.000 --> 01:42:03.359
I'll trade you this for them.
01:42:03.600 --> 01:42:05.119
This guy's trading a dime.
01:42:06.479 --> 01:42:08.479
He looks like he is doing that.
01:42:11.039 --> 01:42:12.479
I got a diamond for you.
01:42:12.640 --> 01:42:13.840
It's so shiny.
01:42:14.720 --> 01:42:16.399
Okay, yeah.
01:42:16.880 --> 01:42:17.920
What's your name?
01:42:18.079 --> 01:42:18.800
Uh mister?
01:42:19.199 --> 01:42:21.119
Oh, I'm uh I'm Shushui.
01:42:22.319 --> 01:42:23.760
Shusui, I like you.
01:42:23.840 --> 01:42:26.479
I'm calling you shiny shusui from now on.
01:42:26.800 --> 01:42:33.520
Uh Wow, he takes your diamond, he's looking at it like in the sky as like the sun reflects onto it.
01:42:33.840 --> 01:42:35.600
Yeah, you can have those two.
01:42:37.359 --> 01:42:38.720
No trade bags.
01:42:39.199 --> 01:42:40.159
That's fine.
01:42:45.920 --> 01:42:46.239
Right.
01:42:46.399 --> 01:42:47.439
I'll find another one.
01:42:47.600 --> 01:42:48.560
That'd be great.
01:42:49.279 --> 01:42:57.039
I'm pretty sure our last two episodes that we needed coal and well for not trained.
01:42:58.319 --> 01:42:59.199
You don't need to say that.
01:42:59.520 --> 01:43:00.720
You can remove the guy, okay.
01:43:00.800 --> 01:43:01.760
You're over here Robin.
01:43:04.800 --> 01:43:12.319
You can remove the diamond from your inventory, you can add a spyglass, it's just a standard equipment, and then you can add the um the charlatan's dye into your inventory.
01:43:13.439 --> 01:43:15.920
Charlatan's die just that you roll whatever number you want.
01:43:17.680 --> 01:43:18.399
Oh damn.
01:43:18.720 --> 01:43:21.520
Alright, I just want to make sure I have the rope of mending right too.
01:43:21.760 --> 01:43:27.439
Is it um says 50 foot of core rope that can repair itself when cut into any number of small pieces?
01:43:28.239 --> 01:43:29.119
Cool, cool.
01:43:29.199 --> 01:43:29.359
Okay.
01:43:29.760 --> 01:43:30.399
Yeah.
01:43:30.720 --> 01:43:32.399
It just mends itself.
01:43:33.439 --> 01:43:34.800
Okay, cool.
01:43:35.199 --> 01:43:35.920
Awesome.
01:43:36.239 --> 01:43:36.720
Alrighty.
01:43:36.960 --> 01:43:38.159
Sky, what was that?
01:43:38.239 --> 01:43:39.520
Did you want to do?
01:43:39.840 --> 01:43:43.920
Anyway, this scalp this fine glass was worth a thousand gold.
01:43:44.159 --> 01:43:45.039
That's crazy.
01:43:45.359 --> 01:43:46.479
Why is it so expensive?
01:43:46.800 --> 01:43:47.279
Is it really?
01:43:48.399 --> 01:43:49.119
What the fuck?
01:43:49.279 --> 01:43:53.359
I mean the diamond was worth 5k, so not too bad.
01:43:53.600 --> 01:43:54.880
Okay, holy shit.
01:43:55.039 --> 01:43:55.920
Holy fuck.
01:43:56.159 --> 01:43:56.399
Okay.
01:43:56.880 --> 01:44:03.119
Um, as a as uh you went.
01:44:03.199 --> 01:44:04.319
I have to attune to the diamond.
01:44:06.479 --> 01:44:13.119
Oh, Ian inspects the diamond, I'll um walk towards him.
01:44:13.439 --> 01:44:17.439
And then I'll I'll I'll reach for my bag, I'll bring it in front of me.
01:44:18.239 --> 01:44:24.319
And I'll act like I'm shuffling through the bag, but I'll walk up to him and pickpocket him as well.
01:44:24.720 --> 01:44:25.920
Pickpocketing Ravy Yang.
01:44:27.119 --> 01:44:27.760
Yeah.
01:44:28.319 --> 01:44:28.640
Okay.
01:44:30.079 --> 01:44:35.520
Uh yeah, go ahead and roll uh you can roll uh Slide of Hand and then Slide of Hand.
01:44:35.600 --> 01:44:38.800
Anyone if you guys want to catch this, you guys can roll.
01:44:39.760 --> 01:44:41.199
I'm not gonna against Scott.
01:44:43.039 --> 01:44:49.760
Yeah, because I'm like, I'm like I don't think really hot.
01:44:50.000 --> 01:44:50.319
Alright.
01:44:51.119 --> 01:44:52.159
I rolled a 21.
01:44:52.319 --> 01:44:52.479
Yeah.
01:44:53.359 --> 01:44:55.439
Oh 24.
01:44:56.239 --> 01:44:56.640
Oh yeah.
01:44:56.720 --> 01:44:57.039
Yeah.
01:44:57.359 --> 01:45:10.960
You guys see uh you do notice that Sky's being he's being a little off, you know, like um but you don't see like exactly what he's doing, or you do just get like a feeling just sky being a sky.
01:45:11.119 --> 01:45:13.840
But alright, Sky, you're pickpocketing Ravyang.
01:45:15.199 --> 01:45:24.319
Uh you're going through quickly, so fast that not anyone like no one can like nobody's even nobody even see it.
01:45:24.479 --> 01:45:25.279
Can't even talk.
01:45:25.439 --> 01:45:29.920
And then um you're grabbing onto him.
01:45:30.159 --> 01:45:37.680
Suddenly you see he puts his diamond away and you pick up at him and you take that diamond back.
01:45:39.520 --> 01:45:41.279
Oh my god, I felt like an asshole.
01:45:41.439 --> 01:45:45.600
I don't want to see always put it back down.
01:45:46.960 --> 01:45:54.239
No no, I'll reach into the bag, my bag, and then I'll pull out my big obsidian that I farm like when we're in cash.
01:45:54.399 --> 01:45:54.640
Okay.
01:45:54.800 --> 01:45:56.319
The one the size of my head.
01:45:56.560 --> 01:45:57.199
Oh shit.
01:45:59.279 --> 01:46:01.520
Hey Rebby, I have something better.
01:46:01.760 --> 01:46:03.039
It's all yours.
01:46:03.359 --> 01:46:05.119
To commemorate our friendship.
01:46:05.279 --> 01:46:08.880
I'll just place it down on the ground, because it is pretty big.
01:46:09.199 --> 01:46:12.640
He comes up to it, he uh starts like looking around it.
01:46:12.960 --> 01:46:17.039
Whoa! Is this a a black diamond?
01:46:17.680 --> 01:46:18.880
Takes out his little diamond.
01:46:19.039 --> 01:46:20.560
Wait, where's my diamond at?
01:46:20.960 --> 01:46:22.319
Oh man.
01:46:22.880 --> 01:46:24.640
Whoa, black diamond.
01:46:26.079 --> 01:46:28.079
Yeah, it's a it's all yours.
01:46:28.239 --> 01:46:30.159
It's super rare to come by, you know.
01:46:30.239 --> 01:46:33.840
Um, considering where you guys live, the village, you know.
01:46:34.079 --> 01:46:39.520
This is deep into the earth and the caves, so it's a nice little gift for you.
01:46:40.000 --> 01:46:40.560
Wow.
01:46:40.880 --> 01:46:41.840
He looks for Z.
01:46:42.159 --> 01:46:43.199
Zee, can I have this?
01:46:43.359 --> 01:46:43.840
For real?
01:46:46.399 --> 01:46:47.039
Yeah.
01:46:49.920 --> 01:46:50.239
Okay.
01:46:51.039 --> 01:46:54.079
Uh you can you can just choose something you want.
01:46:54.159 --> 01:46:55.680
It's it's too big.
01:46:55.920 --> 01:46:57.760
I wanna take it for free.
01:46:58.880 --> 01:47:00.000
It's okay, Ravini.
01:47:00.319 --> 01:47:01.760
Um, completely free.
01:47:01.840 --> 01:47:03.680
How about a question?
01:47:03.920 --> 01:47:05.520
What year is it?
01:47:06.399 --> 01:47:08.239
Uh oh.
01:47:09.439 --> 01:47:11.359
Lee, what year is it?
01:47:14.159 --> 01:47:16.720
Uh I believe it's 1178.
01:47:17.520 --> 01:47:19.520
I think it's 1178.
01:47:19.920 --> 01:47:21.520
Uh, I don't know your name.
01:47:21.760 --> 01:47:23.359
My name is Ravian.
01:47:24.800 --> 01:47:26.000
Oh, Ravian.
01:47:26.159 --> 01:47:27.199
Uh, nice to meet you.
01:47:27.359 --> 01:47:28.880
My name is Black Sky.
01:47:29.359 --> 01:47:32.159
And if you don't mind, what another question.
01:47:32.319 --> 01:47:34.000
What year were you born?
01:47:36.079 --> 01:47:38.239
Or when's your birthday?
01:47:38.880 --> 01:47:43.520
Uh uh uh you see he puts his hand on his mouth.
01:47:43.840 --> 01:47:49.039
Um I don't I don't know.
01:47:49.119 --> 01:47:51.279
My my name is Ravine though.
01:47:51.600 --> 01:47:58.399
He goes over to uh the wall and takes like the the two-piece from there.
01:47:58.720 --> 01:48:00.319
Oh, you can have this.
01:48:00.800 --> 01:48:02.000
You can have this.
01:48:03.199 --> 01:48:03.520
Oh.
01:48:05.199 --> 01:48:05.840
Thank you.
01:48:06.000 --> 01:48:07.680
It's so generous of you.
01:48:08.319 --> 01:48:14.560
Yeah, you you kinda look like a like a superhero, so I think it'll it'll it'll look good on you.
01:48:16.560 --> 01:48:22.560
Oh wow you know, like you stop you look like you so you look like someone who stops like thieves and stuff.
01:48:24.960 --> 01:48:27.680
Yeah, I I definitely do.
01:48:27.920 --> 01:48:28.800
Thank you.
01:48:30.319 --> 01:48:31.680
So uh Okay.
01:48:32.479 --> 01:48:33.439
Is that it?
01:48:34.159 --> 01:48:34.960
That was cool.
01:48:35.119 --> 01:48:36.640
Can we play tag now?
01:48:38.000 --> 01:48:41.600
Uh maybe at the party tonight if you'll be there, Ravain.
01:48:42.720 --> 01:48:46.399
Oh they're throwing a party for you, Lee?
01:48:46.640 --> 01:48:48.720
Okay, I'll be there.
01:48:50.079 --> 01:48:52.000
Perfect, we'll play tag then.
01:48:52.159 --> 01:48:56.079
We have a few other uh things to do before then.
01:48:56.399 --> 01:48:57.840
But we'll see you there.
01:48:58.399 --> 01:48:58.720
Okay.
01:48:59.760 --> 01:49:00.399
Fine.
01:49:00.640 --> 01:49:02.399
I remember you promised.
01:49:03.680 --> 01:49:04.399
I promised.
01:49:04.640 --> 01:49:05.920
Thanks for the trades, Raven.
01:49:06.479 --> 01:49:08.800
See you, thank you guys again.
01:49:09.439 --> 01:49:13.039
Before Shusui um leaves, he just goes to Shusui.
01:49:13.359 --> 01:49:17.199
Oh I'm uh I'm sorry, I lost a diamond.
01:49:18.079 --> 01:49:18.800
It's fine.
01:49:18.880 --> 01:49:21.520
I'm sure you'll find it somewhere around here.
01:49:22.079 --> 01:49:24.479
Yeah, it it's probably somewhere here.
01:49:24.640 --> 01:49:26.239
My it's messy.
01:49:26.479 --> 01:49:28.960
Anyways, thank you, shiny Shusui.
01:49:29.840 --> 01:49:30.720
No problem.
01:49:32.159 --> 01:49:35.840
He just goes back and starts playing with like all his new toys he just got.
01:49:39.039 --> 01:49:40.239
Alright, where are you guys heading?
01:49:44.880 --> 01:49:46.079
Yeah, that was messed up.
01:49:46.479 --> 01:49:48.479
Yeah, that's so bad.
01:49:49.119 --> 01:49:55.600
That was I do think Alright.
01:49:56.079 --> 01:49:59.680
So let me just make sure to Raven.
01:50:00.319 --> 01:50:04.560
didn't really help us conclude come to any conclusion but the timeline, huh?
01:50:06.319 --> 01:50:08.720
No, because he he didn't know what year it was.
01:50:08.960 --> 01:50:13.600
I feel like not to not to sound mean, Lee.
01:50:13.840 --> 01:50:21.680
I feel like we should probably try to talk to one more person other than Ravain about what time it is.
01:50:22.399 --> 01:50:28.800
Oh I mean, I'm sure we'll run into someone.
01:50:29.119 --> 01:50:31.840
We still have to find where the like artifact is.
01:50:32.239 --> 01:50:35.920
Uh Lee, do you know where the artifact might be held?
01:50:36.319 --> 01:50:37.119
Would I know?
01:50:37.359 --> 01:50:38.079
You would not.
01:50:38.159 --> 01:50:39.600
You were too young.
01:50:40.239 --> 01:50:45.439
Uh no, I I do not know, especially how much things have changed.
01:50:45.920 --> 01:50:46.880
The artifacts.
01:50:48.640 --> 01:50:49.920
Whoa, whoa, whoa.
01:50:50.399 --> 01:50:56.319
Uh first of all, I don't think um asking for the artifact would make us seem very friendly.
01:50:56.479 --> 01:51:00.319
I wouldn't want to put Lee in an awkward situation.
01:51:01.199 --> 01:51:03.439
How about Lee?
01:51:03.840 --> 01:51:10.239
Your friend Therion, how about we why don't we go and give her a visit?
01:51:11.680 --> 01:51:12.000
Okay.
01:51:12.560 --> 01:51:17.039
Although she didn't seem too friendly uh a little bit ago.
01:51:17.279 --> 01:51:20.319
But maybe now that she knows it's me.
01:51:21.119 --> 01:51:22.319
Yes, exactly.
01:51:22.479 --> 01:51:24.399
I'm sure she misses you.
01:51:25.840 --> 01:51:30.880
And she's very of sound and of nature, so it wouldn't hurt.
01:51:31.199 --> 01:51:48.159
Um then I'll attempt to lead him to Darien, but also I kinda wanna while I'm heading there, like try and get a lay of the town and see if I can remember, like I guess the the house that I grew up in, more so.
01:51:48.640 --> 01:51:48.960
Okay.
01:51:49.359 --> 01:51:53.520
Um you can give me a perception check.
01:51:54.239 --> 01:51:56.000
As you're walking around.
01:51:56.319 --> 01:51:57.279
Or investigation.
01:51:57.359 --> 01:52:01.119
You're act- you're actively trying to look for it, so you can do an investigation check.
01:52:01.439 --> 01:52:03.840
Uh, as an 18 for investigation.
01:52:04.159 --> 01:52:05.279
18, okay.
01:52:05.520 --> 01:52:12.000
Um as you are looking as you all are looking also for Ethereum.
01:52:13.039 --> 01:52:21.359
Um you see a house that seems to be where yours used to be at.
01:52:22.479 --> 01:52:23.760
It looks a little different.
01:52:23.840 --> 01:52:30.159
It doesn't look like it would be yours, but that location it's very similar.
01:52:30.880 --> 01:52:35.359
Um do you do you three mind if we take a short detour?
01:52:37.680 --> 01:52:40.720
We're just taking a look around the village, though.
01:52:42.079 --> 01:52:42.720
Who knows?
01:52:42.960 --> 01:52:45.199
Maybe we'll learn something on our way there.
01:52:46.560 --> 01:52:48.720
And like to go up to the house then.
01:52:49.920 --> 01:52:53.920
You go up to the house and you see it now that you're closer.
01:52:54.000 --> 01:53:00.479
You see, um it's uh it's a homey looking place.
01:53:00.880 --> 01:53:11.520
It has a lot of like red color on it, almost like the like like a like an orange reddish color.
01:53:12.239 --> 01:53:14.720
Painted on the on the doors and stuff.
01:53:14.880 --> 01:53:17.039
Uh um I'll go up and knock.
01:53:18.000 --> 01:53:24.399
As you knock on the door, what's a memory that you have of your own?
01:53:27.039 --> 01:53:42.560
Um probably uh I'd remember Elyra, my sort of like mother figure, uh, making a meal for Kenneth and I.
01:53:44.239 --> 01:53:51.359
And I'm sort of hoping that whoever opens the door, um I'm hoping it's her.
01:53:53.119 --> 01:54:00.079
With that hope in your in your heart, you hear the door suddenly creak open.
01:54:00.880 --> 01:54:11.760
And as it opens up, you see red ashen hair blows like just flowing past you.
01:54:13.359 --> 01:54:16.720
And this figure leans on the door.
01:54:17.199 --> 01:54:19.600
You see Therian in front of you.
01:54:19.920 --> 01:54:20.560
Yes?
01:54:21.600 --> 01:54:36.960
Uh you kind of see Lee's posture kinda slumps a little bit, but he he turns around and he's um the the guests to driner wanted to speak with you.
01:54:37.279 --> 01:54:41.119
How how'd you know where I uh and she looks behind you?
01:54:41.600 --> 01:54:42.159
Whatever.
01:54:42.960 --> 01:54:47.199
I scoot up to Lee and I whisper, Did you say this was your old house?
01:54:47.439 --> 01:54:50.399
Uh yes, it was.
01:54:51.119 --> 01:54:58.720
Uh uh, I'll turn to Wagneo and she's like, uh I think I'm not the best person to talk to.
01:54:59.439 --> 01:55:03.279
So I'll pass on to you guys.
01:55:03.600 --> 01:55:06.399
She comes out fully and closes the door behind her.
01:55:06.479 --> 01:55:14.079
Um she doesn't have her sword with her, but uh she's still wearing the same the same clothes she wore from earlier, just like the the green dress.
01:55:15.600 --> 01:55:17.119
Uh yeah.
01:55:17.279 --> 01:55:20.560
Uh we were hoping to talk more about the uh the black dawn.
01:55:21.279 --> 01:55:29.039
Uh no, it didn't seem appropriate to speak about it during uh the festival or the uh the celebration.
01:55:29.359 --> 01:55:35.600
So we're hoping to uh talk about it kinda before the festivities start.
01:55:36.479 --> 01:55:36.800
Okay.
01:55:37.520 --> 01:55:42.000
Uh well what do you want to talk about?
01:55:42.239 --> 01:55:45.119
I it seems you guys know more than me.
01:55:45.840 --> 01:55:54.800
Uh well, we know for sure that the uh the Black Dawn, they're targeting the uh elemental artifacts.
01:55:55.119 --> 01:56:02.000
And we just wanted to make sure that everything was still fine with uh the one that we heard was here.
01:56:02.880 --> 01:56:04.319
Who told you that?
01:56:05.840 --> 01:56:12.079
You see as she reaches for like where her sword to be, but and then she knows it's not there, and then she um lets go.
01:56:12.319 --> 01:56:14.880
Like just relaxes her posture a little bit.
01:56:17.119 --> 01:56:22.560
I just uh I'll reach into my pack and I'll pull out the earth artifact and I'll go.
01:56:23.039 --> 01:56:25.199
Uh no no worries.
01:56:25.439 --> 01:56:28.479
Uh I'm protecting the earth artifact.
01:56:28.640 --> 01:56:32.000
Uh I'm just here to try to make sure everything's fine.
01:56:32.159 --> 01:56:36.319
Try to make sure it stays safe and out of the uh black dawn's hand.
01:56:37.439 --> 01:56:40.159
Wait, you have the earth artifact?
01:56:40.640 --> 01:56:43.760
What what's actually going on here?
01:56:44.880 --> 01:56:51.359
Uh we're we're not entirely sure, but we do know that the Black Dawn is targeting the artifacts.
01:56:51.600 --> 01:56:51.920
So.
01:56:52.560 --> 01:56:54.800
We need Finwin for this then.
01:56:58.000 --> 01:57:14.239
Yeah, uh, he just seemed tired after his uh conversation with uh Lee, so we figured we were uh take a tour of the the village, but we couldn't really find anything, so we figured we'd just come and uh talk to you about it.
01:57:15.279 --> 01:57:18.079
See as she uh lays like leans back against the door.
01:57:18.159 --> 01:57:20.640
Um her head tots up slightly.
01:57:21.039 --> 01:57:23.600
And what about you, the rest of you?
01:57:24.239 --> 01:57:28.479
Do you each have one of those too?
01:57:30.000 --> 01:57:31.359
Reach into my bag.
01:57:33.600 --> 01:57:35.279
Pull out nothing.
01:57:36.000 --> 01:57:36.560
Hold on.
01:57:36.880 --> 01:57:37.520
I did.
01:57:38.239 --> 01:57:41.680
I'll reach into my bag too and pull out the water artifact.
01:57:42.000 --> 01:57:44.399
I will the water artifact.
01:57:44.640 --> 01:57:50.079
This is why we really, really want to find out if you guys have encountered the black dawn or what you guys know.
01:57:50.399 --> 01:57:52.720
Pull out the wind artifact.
01:57:53.279 --> 01:58:00.960
Uh I don't I wouldn't say I necessarily wield it, but uh they trusted me with it.
01:58:02.000 --> 01:58:08.640
As Lee pulls out his artifact, you hear like uh Darian clicks her her tongue.
01:58:09.119 --> 01:58:12.640
Uh she's a little you could tell she's like a little annoyed.
01:58:13.359 --> 01:58:16.640
Um, and then she turns towards like Wagnu and Shusui.
01:58:18.079 --> 01:58:22.800
Uh I I I don't know if this like bodes well or not.
01:58:23.039 --> 01:58:25.840
That the fact that you guys have the artifacts.
01:58:26.560 --> 01:58:28.479
That means the guardians fail.
01:58:28.800 --> 01:58:30.479
We have new guardians now.
01:58:30.720 --> 01:58:32.239
Apparently it's you.
01:58:33.359 --> 01:58:35.359
Someone's going around.
01:58:35.840 --> 01:58:36.800
The Black Dawn.
01:58:36.960 --> 01:58:39.279
They're looking for the fire artifact.
01:58:39.760 --> 01:58:40.079
Okay.
01:58:42.720 --> 01:58:47.199
I'll try to get us a meeting with Finwin.
01:58:47.680 --> 01:58:50.159
Uh it seems pretty urgent, so.
01:58:52.479 --> 01:58:57.039
How about after the party that he's preparing for?
01:58:57.279 --> 01:58:59.279
And she looks towards the him.
01:59:00.560 --> 01:59:03.359
Look about the Black Dawn, I don't know anything about them.
01:59:03.439 --> 01:59:07.119
I just I just heard a little bit about them from Ben Wynn.
01:59:10.079 --> 01:59:11.119
So he might know more.
01:59:11.439 --> 01:59:13.600
After all, he is the leader of Drenor.
01:59:13.760 --> 01:59:16.479
I'm I just I'm just under him.
01:59:17.920 --> 01:59:18.960
That's fair.
01:59:19.199 --> 01:59:24.800
Uh oh, and uh you know what year it is?
01:59:25.039 --> 01:59:32.159
We're trying to figure out why uh Lee thinks it's only been 20 years for him and uh for me.
01:59:32.239 --> 01:59:38.960
I I left the region for a couple months and I came back and the things don't really match up for me either.
01:59:39.680 --> 01:59:41.840
Um it depends.
01:59:42.720 --> 01:59:43.840
What year are you doing?
01:59:44.479 --> 01:59:46.960
I mean, like what calendar are you talking about?
01:59:47.439 --> 02:00:02.960
And right now she says that you hear uh like a drum startling she turns to the behind you.
02:00:26.000 --> 02:00:27.039
Sounds like a good idea.
02:00:28.960 --> 02:00:30.319
Finally some music.
02:00:31.439 --> 02:00:36.399
You guys are heading back to the hut where you guys were at before.
02:00:41.439 --> 02:00:42.319
Around here.
02:00:43.119 --> 02:00:47.760
Um looks like a few about a hundred elves only.
02:00:48.239 --> 02:00:50.800
They're not all inside, but they're all around the area.
02:00:56.000 --> 02:00:59.520
Long here, loot here, loot.
02:01:01.439 --> 02:01:04.319
Um you're looking at all those elves.
02:01:04.720 --> 02:01:06.239
The ones that are dancing.
02:01:06.880 --> 02:01:08.800
When they dance, they look like they're floating.
02:01:09.119 --> 02:01:11.760
They're just like almost like they're like skating.
02:01:18.319 --> 02:01:20.000
You start to hear it singing.
02:01:21.600 --> 02:01:27.760
And when you hear it, it sounds exactly what you what you hear in your mind when you envision.
02:01:44.960 --> 02:01:50.399
On a special occasion, yes, we can throw we can throw quite the party.
02:01:50.960 --> 02:01:55.840
And Lee, as you say that, you remember that every day was a special occasion.
02:01:58.000 --> 02:02:06.079
But luckily for the town of Drenner, every day was a special occasion.
02:02:08.880 --> 02:02:15.760
I only remember traces of the music my village plays when I was a kid.
02:02:16.159 --> 02:02:18.079
Um, but it feels good.
02:02:18.319 --> 02:02:23.680
It feels good to be surrounded by all this lively music, all these elves.
02:02:24.319 --> 02:02:28.560
I guess I just feel a little a little bit like an outcast.
02:02:28.640 --> 02:02:39.920
This is my hometown, but my home village, but I I don't remember any any festival or any festive activities.
02:02:40.560 --> 02:02:45.199
I just remember the horror.
02:02:47.199 --> 02:02:52.000
What did you What did you say your family name was?
02:02:52.239 --> 02:02:56.079
I I wish I could tell you.
02:02:56.239 --> 02:02:57.279
I don't even know.
02:02:58.000 --> 02:03:00.640
Well, we can uh we can talk with Finn.
02:03:01.039 --> 02:03:02.880
You think he may be able to help me.
02:03:06.720 --> 02:03:07.840
I hope so.
02:03:08.239 --> 02:03:11.279
Why why did you leave our village?
02:03:11.520 --> 02:03:13.600
Um it wasn't by choice.
02:03:13.920 --> 02:03:16.239
I guess you and I have that in common.
02:03:17.039 --> 02:03:20.640
Well, it feels good to finally relax for a bit.
02:03:20.720 --> 02:03:23.840
I just have this weird feeling like I need to be on guard.
02:03:24.159 --> 02:03:27.840
Well, you can let me handle being on guard.
02:03:28.000 --> 02:03:30.399
I think you three should enjoy yourself.
02:03:31.119 --> 02:03:36.399
Give me a uh a constitution saving throw.
02:03:40.479 --> 02:03:47.279
Oh actually, just let me double check real fast, making sure it's the right the appropriate one.
02:03:48.479 --> 02:03:49.439
Come on, man.
02:03:50.000 --> 02:04:01.520
I will say I I will say I have an advantage on savings throws against being charmed, but uh for just straight constitution savings throw, that is a 12.
02:04:02.640 --> 02:04:05.039
Give me one second, let me just double check.
02:04:07.199 --> 02:04:09.439
Actually, give me a wisdom saving throw.
02:04:10.800 --> 02:04:12.720
Much better, that's a 21.
02:04:13.039 --> 02:04:13.520
Woo!
02:04:13.840 --> 02:04:14.800
Let's go.
02:04:15.439 --> 02:04:21.119
You start to feel the beat of the drums in your heart.
02:04:22.239 --> 02:04:26.640
Um, you feel your body want to move by itself.
02:04:28.399 --> 02:04:35.760
But you you hold yourself together as you say that to Wagnu to let you be on guard.
02:04:36.319 --> 02:04:38.479
Now get in there and enjoy yourselves, you three.
02:04:38.640 --> 02:04:40.960
I look over to Black Sky and Shisui.
02:04:43.199 --> 02:04:46.399
It's been a while since we kind of just cut loose.
02:04:47.039 --> 02:04:49.439
Uh yeah.
02:04:50.000 --> 02:04:50.640
Yeah.
02:04:52.319 --> 02:04:52.880
Sure.
02:04:53.279 --> 02:04:55.279
I mean, yeah.
02:04:57.520 --> 02:04:58.720
Alright, well.
02:05:00.159 --> 02:05:04.640
You know, I guess there's a time for everything, and now we should we should enjoy this.
02:05:05.279 --> 02:05:16.079
And I'll stand up, and then I'll go to where like they're playing music, like bongo or something, stuff, and then I'll just kinda join in on the dancing and the singing and stuff.
02:05:17.439 --> 02:05:17.760
Okay.
02:05:18.800 --> 02:05:22.800
Yeah, Wagni, you find yourself in the center.
02:05:23.439 --> 02:05:26.079
Um, the elves start to surround you.
02:05:26.319 --> 02:05:29.199
At first, you're a little nerve, a little nervous.
02:05:30.239 --> 02:05:41.279
You start to just kind of move your body a little bit, and then it doesn't take long, but you start to find yourself in stride with all the elves around you.
02:05:41.840 --> 02:05:46.319
You start to feel your feet barely touching the ground.
02:05:47.439 --> 02:05:50.239
As if you're skating on air.
02:05:51.600 --> 02:05:55.680
Give me a um, would you want to resist anything?
02:05:55.840 --> 02:05:57.760
I got I'll ask you, I'll ask you that first.
02:05:57.920 --> 02:05:58.720
No, no.
02:06:00.319 --> 02:06:01.840
In this moment, no?
02:06:02.399 --> 02:06:07.359
You find yourself um grinning super wide.
02:06:08.159 --> 02:06:11.840
You find yourself ecstatic, happy.
02:06:12.159 --> 02:06:18.239
Sky and Shusui looks over to you, and you know they know you as the one who always smiles.
02:06:18.960 --> 02:06:24.079
But this is a you that they haven't seen, even they haven't seen yet.
02:06:25.279 --> 02:06:29.920
A true moment of joy.
02:06:31.760 --> 02:06:35.199
Shusui, all of a sudden you feel a bump.
02:06:36.239 --> 02:06:38.560
Turn around, you see uh Ravyan.
02:06:40.159 --> 02:06:43.840
Shiny Shusui! I I found the diamond!
02:06:44.000 --> 02:06:46.000
He pulls out like a like a white rock.
02:06:46.319 --> 02:06:46.640
Oh.
02:06:47.359 --> 02:06:48.159
That's right.
02:06:49.600 --> 02:06:50.159
Found it.
02:06:50.319 --> 02:06:52.319
But uh, why are you still messing with that?
02:06:52.479 --> 02:06:56.479
Why don't you uh enjoy the festivities with the others?
02:06:57.439 --> 02:07:00.640
Oh, because it's it's more fun with friends.
02:07:00.880 --> 02:07:02.000
He tags you.
02:07:02.319 --> 02:07:03.359
Tag your head!
02:07:03.840 --> 02:07:05.039
He starts running around.
02:07:05.279 --> 02:07:06.800
I guess I'll chase after him.
02:07:06.960 --> 02:07:11.680
Uh is there a specific way you're trying to tag him, or are you just you're letting loose?
02:07:11.920 --> 02:07:16.000
Uh lots of running and rolls, jumping around.
02:07:17.279 --> 02:07:19.199
Give me an acrobatics check.
02:07:19.279 --> 02:07:21.039
Alright, I'm supposed to be good at these.
02:07:22.000 --> 02:07:23.680
Uh uh 3020.
02:07:24.079 --> 02:07:25.039
Sheesh, nice.
02:07:25.199 --> 02:07:28.479
Yeah, you start rolling, um, you start jumping around.
02:07:28.640 --> 02:07:32.399
Uh to everyone else, it looks like you're just dancing, but it's like your own dance.
02:07:32.720 --> 02:07:34.880
It's not the elven dance here.
02:07:35.039 --> 02:07:40.640
Um, but you're you're doing this so gracefully that it looks like you're you're already dancing.
02:07:41.039 --> 02:07:43.039
And you do eventually tag him.
02:07:43.600 --> 02:07:50.319
You see, uh he pouts a little bit, he starts chasing after you, and you just start taking off as well.
02:07:50.640 --> 02:07:52.159
Sky, what are you doing?
02:07:52.560 --> 02:07:53.760
Oh gosh.
02:07:54.079 --> 02:07:59.039
Uh since Sky is not really a festive person.
02:07:59.920 --> 02:08:04.960
And where he comes from, his background and everything, he's not really used to this.
02:08:05.439 --> 02:08:07.680
Um here in your head?
02:08:09.359 --> 02:08:10.720
We can go outside.
02:08:11.039 --> 02:08:11.840
Outside?
02:08:12.079 --> 02:08:13.039
Of the village?
02:08:13.279 --> 02:08:14.880
No, just out the door.
02:08:15.680 --> 02:08:18.079
There's a place over there I saw earlier.
02:08:18.239 --> 02:08:19.520
There's no one there.
02:08:19.840 --> 02:08:22.319
This isn't your style, anyways, guy.
02:08:23.199 --> 02:08:24.960
I mean, yeah, you're right.
02:08:25.199 --> 02:08:25.840
Why not?
02:08:26.079 --> 02:08:27.439
It doesn't hurt.
02:08:30.159 --> 02:08:31.439
And you start walking outside.
02:08:33.279 --> 02:08:33.600
Okay.
02:08:33.680 --> 02:08:34.960
Uh give me a stealth check.
02:08:35.039 --> 02:08:45.199
And if anybody who is currently enjoying or not enjoying themselves, uh, if you want to try to notice Sky going away, go ahead and roll the perception check.
02:08:45.760 --> 02:08:47.359
I'll try and spot him.
02:08:49.119 --> 02:08:50.720
Oh, not great.
02:08:51.840 --> 02:08:56.800
By the way, all of these actions that I've been doing has a plus six modifier, so I know.
02:08:56.880 --> 02:08:57.439
It's great.
02:09:00.960 --> 02:09:01.680
Oh my god.
02:09:01.760 --> 02:09:03.119
Are you sure you're another rogue?
02:09:04.640 --> 02:09:05.119
He's sneaky.
02:09:06.640 --> 02:09:07.199
Yeah.
02:09:07.520 --> 02:09:09.680
Um You're just a rogue.
02:09:10.000 --> 02:09:11.039
This is not something.
02:09:12.159 --> 02:09:13.119
No, you're just a rogue.
02:09:13.199 --> 02:09:15.039
We're not even a sort of anymore.
02:09:16.479 --> 02:09:25.760
Within this bright room, full of joy and full of light, Sky still finds himself clinging onto the shadows.
02:09:26.079 --> 02:09:32.560
And while everyone else is enjoying themselves, you step away.
02:09:32.880 --> 02:09:35.840
You pass all the elves outside.
02:09:36.239 --> 02:09:45.279
Uh no one seems to even like pay any attention, or they just can't see you as you're able to maneuver around them so expertly.
02:09:45.840 --> 02:09:54.399
You find a spot on top of a branch where you can see the clear night sky.
02:09:55.119 --> 02:09:56.720
The breeze is cold.
02:09:57.600 --> 02:10:00.000
You hear in your head the edge of dawn.
02:10:00.399 --> 02:10:01.279
Much better.
02:10:01.600 --> 02:10:02.239
Right?
02:10:03.520 --> 02:10:06.319
I mean, I'm indifferent to it.
02:10:06.560 --> 02:10:07.119
What?
02:10:07.840 --> 02:10:10.479
You led me out just to sit on a branch?
02:10:11.920 --> 02:10:17.119
Oh yeah, that and uh look.
02:10:18.239 --> 02:10:21.199
I just I just wanna apologize.
02:10:21.520 --> 02:10:23.119
Apologize for what?
02:10:23.359 --> 02:10:25.199
For saying the things I said earlier?
02:10:25.359 --> 02:10:26.960
Look, I really don't want to hurt you.
02:10:27.039 --> 02:10:27.359
Okay?
02:10:27.520 --> 02:10:29.920
It's not like I purposely choose to do so.
02:10:30.159 --> 02:10:31.039
What what are you talking about?
02:10:31.279 --> 02:10:35.039
You ever get so hungry that that you just can't control yourself?
02:10:35.279 --> 02:10:36.800
That's how I feel like.
02:10:37.840 --> 02:10:41.279
Wait, who's this?
02:10:42.720 --> 02:10:43.680
It's me.
02:10:44.720 --> 02:10:45.760
The edge of dawn.
02:10:46.560 --> 02:10:58.000
And you feel like a a warmth slash coldness on your side as the dagger on your side starts to hum a little bit.
02:10:58.239 --> 02:10:58.800
Huh.
02:10:59.439 --> 02:11:02.319
Alright, well, apology accepted.
02:11:03.119 --> 02:11:05.279
And it's not like it was you, anyways.
02:11:05.520 --> 02:11:07.279
That was just that full of Angor.
02:11:08.000 --> 02:11:10.239
Uh I I devoured him.
02:11:10.479 --> 02:11:11.840
I got too hungry.
02:11:12.159 --> 02:11:12.479
Oh.
02:11:14.720 --> 02:11:15.039
Okay.
02:11:16.479 --> 02:11:19.520
But I'm telling you, I I really don't want to hurt you.
02:11:21.119 --> 02:11:24.640
So eventually you will have to find me a cell.
02:11:24.800 --> 02:11:26.479
I don't care who's so.
02:11:27.039 --> 02:11:28.960
Does have to be human so though.
02:11:29.359 --> 02:11:29.760
What?
02:11:30.000 --> 02:11:31.680
I fed you a rabbit.
02:11:31.840 --> 02:11:34.159
And Mingor said that wouldn't suffice.
02:11:34.319 --> 02:11:36.479
That didn't suffice, that's why I took his soul.
02:11:37.439 --> 02:11:37.760
Oh.
02:11:38.079 --> 02:11:39.520
But you just said any soul.
02:11:39.600 --> 02:11:41.439
It doesn't have to be human soul.
02:11:41.680 --> 02:11:42.399
But any soul.
02:11:42.479 --> 02:11:47.039
I don't know as in like, I don't care if you kill someone good, someone bad.
02:11:48.319 --> 02:11:49.840
Just gotta give me a soul.
02:11:50.159 --> 02:11:52.560
And trust me, I'm just trying to keep you alive.
02:11:53.199 --> 02:11:54.560
Keep that in mind.
02:11:54.960 --> 02:11:56.000
Alright, well.
02:11:56.479 --> 02:11:58.000
Enjoy the scenery.
02:11:58.720 --> 02:11:59.840
Guess we can relax here.
02:12:01.039 --> 02:12:01.840
Nice knowing ya.
02:12:03.439 --> 02:12:05.680
I guess I could say we're partners for now.
02:12:05.920 --> 02:12:07.439
That does sound pretty nice.
02:12:07.680 --> 02:12:11.039
As you sit, the night skies above you.
02:12:12.720 --> 02:12:17.039
You look up and you don't see any stars.
02:12:18.000 --> 02:12:19.279
Lee, what are you doing?
02:12:19.840 --> 02:12:35.920
Um I've been kind of sitting, like leaning against the doorway of the building, keeping like an ear facing out, trying to listen while also enjoying my party to the best of my abilities while staying on guard as well.
02:12:37.279 --> 02:12:40.399
You see Finwin makes his way towards you.
02:12:41.359 --> 02:12:42.479
Come on, Lee.
02:12:44.000 --> 02:12:48.079
It might have been two hundred years, but I know you can still dance.
02:12:48.560 --> 02:12:52.239
Ugh, then you know I've never been the dancer.
02:12:55.359 --> 02:12:59.359
I guess even even after two hundred years I will still teach you.
02:12:59.600 --> 02:13:01.039
He takes you by the hand.
02:13:01.600 --> 02:13:03.439
Come on, old friend.
02:13:04.239 --> 02:13:05.680
Enjoy the moment.
02:13:06.479 --> 02:13:08.800
This is your party after all.
02:13:09.920 --> 02:13:11.600
Only for a minute.
02:13:12.560 --> 02:13:13.760
Oh, hey.
02:13:14.079 --> 02:13:15.520
And I got us some water.
02:13:15.760 --> 02:13:20.079
He takes out like uh two water skins and gives it to you, one to you.
02:13:20.319 --> 02:13:22.399
Uh he does the shush sound.
02:13:22.479 --> 02:13:23.439
Don't tell anyone.
02:13:23.600 --> 02:13:24.880
I'm a leader after all.
02:13:25.119 --> 02:13:28.640
I grab it and I kinda raise it in the air and thank you.
02:13:28.800 --> 02:13:30.720
And I'll start sipping on it.
02:13:30.880 --> 02:13:33.920
Yeah, he sips it too, and it's some hard stuff.
02:13:36.800 --> 02:13:39.119
You always knew how to find the best water.
02:13:39.439 --> 02:13:40.800
Don't tell anyone.
02:13:41.199 --> 02:13:47.439
I'll head in and uh I'll I'll dance for a little bit, but I do wanna kinda get back on guard as soon as possible.
02:13:47.680 --> 02:13:47.920
Okay.
02:13:48.079 --> 02:13:49.600
You dance for a little bit.
02:13:49.920 --> 02:13:53.359
As you get back on guard, you go outside.
02:13:53.760 --> 02:13:58.000
You find yourself walking through your village.
02:13:58.239 --> 02:14:02.000
It's almost as if you you blacked out for a little bit.
02:14:02.479 --> 02:14:08.640
But when you come back to it, you find yourself at the wooden slab of Kenneth's name.
02:14:09.760 --> 02:14:12.720
You sit down as you see the full moon.
02:14:12.960 --> 02:14:18.720
I'm just kinda looking out to the sky as I'm sipping on my water.
02:14:19.279 --> 02:14:20.800
I'll just kinda say.
02:14:22.079 --> 02:14:24.880
Well, I never thought you would die before me.
02:14:25.920 --> 02:14:31.359
As I pour a little bit of the water onto the slab.
02:14:32.800 --> 02:14:41.840
As you do that, a gust of wind blows past you as your hair um blows from your face.
02:14:43.119 --> 02:14:48.800
The wind artifact on you starts to ring a little bit.
02:14:50.319 --> 02:15:02.720
At this moment, under the sky, I'll give you a chance to attune to the wind artifact at advantage.
02:15:03.039 --> 02:15:11.840
So you would have to roll to attune to the artifact, you would have to roll um over at least a ten or higher three times.
02:15:12.079 --> 02:15:12.399
Okay.
02:15:12.800 --> 02:15:15.039
So it's once per long, like once per longness.
02:15:15.359 --> 02:15:18.159
I'll roll two twenties and then I'll do that three times.
02:15:18.319 --> 02:15:19.680
No, you just roll two twenties.
02:15:19.920 --> 02:15:22.159
So once a day you can do it once.
02:15:22.479 --> 02:15:23.199
Oh, okay.
02:15:23.359 --> 02:15:24.720
So this would be your first one.
02:15:24.960 --> 02:15:26.720
Uh an eight was the higher one.
02:15:26.960 --> 02:15:29.840
The winds blow past you.
02:15:30.720 --> 02:15:42.000
The thought of Kenneth enters your mind as you let the water in that that water skin drown you out for a little bit.
02:15:42.239 --> 02:15:45.199
It's cold, but it feels nice.
02:15:46.960 --> 02:15:48.800
At least you're back home.
02:15:51.520 --> 02:15:53.199
That's where we'll stop for tonight.
02:15:53.359 --> 02:15:53.840
Dude.
02:15:54.000 --> 02:15:57.039
What a lovely, like peaceful night.
02:15:57.600 --> 02:15:58.800
Too peaceful.
02:16:10.319 --> 02:16:11.600
Hey there, wanders.
02:16:11.680 --> 02:16:13.279
