In our final episode of Season 2, we have a heartfelt chat with poet and writer Shaista Tayabali, exploring the profound ways in which creativity can shape and heal our lives. Shaista shares her long journey with lupus, her move from India to the UK, and how poetry, blogging and writing became both her solace and her voice. Shaista Tayabali is a poet, writer, blogger and occasional teacher living in a quiet village in Cambridgeshire. Her memoir ‘Lupus, You Odd Unnatural Thing’ captures much of her life with a persistent auto-immune illness, and her poetry attempts to draw on threads of hope, joy and beauty.
