Is your business using technology remotely? Here are the HR implications!

How do HR considerations impact on your business when you have staff using technology remotely?

Welcome to another episode of Techcess podcast.

Hi, this is Mark Riddell and in this week's episode, we'll be discussing the implications you're having to face in terms of HR if you're running a business that uses technology remotely!

Getting your head around those hr obligations in this new remote tech world

As businesses increasingly adopt remote working arrangements and rely on technology for seamless operations, it's crucial to understand the HR obligations that come with this shift.

HR consultant Sandie Holmes joins Mark Riddell to shed light on the essential considerations when employing staff who work from home.

With over 140 businesses relying on their expertise, Sandie emphasises the importance of having an HR expert by your side to guide you through the complexities of employee engagement, contracts, and compliance.

Getting your staff set up

The discussion covers the importance of equipping remote workers with the necessary tools and supplies.

Sandie stresses the need to provide appropriate desks, chairs, monitors, and other office essentials to promote productivity and prevent physical discomfort or injuries.

Employers are reminded of their legal obligation to conduct display screen equipment risk assessments, both in the office and remote working environments, to ensure the correct positioning of monitors and the ergonomic setup of workstations.

And we've added a freebie to this episode to ensure you find that easy.
