00:00:01.280 --> 00:00:04.759
Coming up on Paratruth Reborn, we'll be talking to Paul
2
00:00:04.839 --> 00:00:10.679
Blake Smith about his book The UFO Bombshell Before Roswell.
3
00:00:14.599 --> 00:00:18.280
Welcome, Well, do para Truth.
4
00:00:43.679 --> 00:00:49.280
How's it going Paratruthers, Welcome to another episode of Paratruth Reborn.
5
00:00:49.560 --> 00:00:53.799
My name is Justin and I'm Eric, and tonight I'm Paratruth.
6
00:00:54.039 --> 00:00:58.840
We are going back before Roswell. Yes, Roswell is not
7
00:00:59.119 --> 00:01:03.399
the only crashed UFO case. In nineteen forty one, there
8
00:01:03.439 --> 00:01:08.840
was a presumed airplane crash near Cape girardu, Missouri, allegedly
9
00:01:09.079 --> 00:01:14.760
turned into something much stranger, a UFO crash, alien bodies,
10
00:01:14.799 --> 00:01:19.200
government secrecy, the whole nine yards. You know, if you
11
00:01:19.200 --> 00:01:22.439
know Roswell, this case is going to sound very similar
12
00:01:22.560 --> 00:01:26.280
in those regards. But we are bringing on Paul Blake
13
00:01:26.319 --> 00:01:31.280
Smith to talk about this. Paul, Welcome to Paratrude three born.
14
00:01:32.159 --> 00:01:34.120
Well, thanks for having me on. It's a pleasure.
15
00:01:35.599 --> 00:01:39.920
Now before we dig deep into the book, for our listeners,
16
00:01:41.359 --> 00:01:43.159
tell us a little bit who you are, how you
17
00:01:43.200 --> 00:01:48.480
got interested in UFO cases and specifically this case.
18
00:01:49.719 --> 00:01:52.560
Well, I was born and raised in Cape Girardo, Missouri.
19
00:01:52.959 --> 00:01:55.680
It's a city of about thirty five to four thousand
20
00:01:56.799 --> 00:02:00.560
students and residents. We have a large university there. That's
21
00:02:00.599 --> 00:02:03.439
where I went to college. I was in the mass
22
00:02:03.480 --> 00:02:07.400
communications department, did a little radio work, and one of
23
00:02:07.439 --> 00:02:10.199
the fellow students was a burly fellow was on a
24
00:02:10.240 --> 00:02:13.439
football team. Name said from Saint Louis. You know him
25
00:02:13.479 --> 00:02:17.919
as Cedric the entertainer. Well, anyway, name dropping there. Yeah,
26
00:02:18.199 --> 00:02:20.879
I remember him quite well. He probably doesn't remember me.
27
00:02:21.560 --> 00:02:25.240
But over the years, I was interested in UFO stories
28
00:02:25.280 --> 00:02:29.520
only somewhat modly. I wasn't a big enthusiast. But I
29
00:02:29.599 --> 00:02:33.639
began to hear about the Cape Druro UFO crash outside
30
00:02:33.680 --> 00:02:37.080
of my own hometown. I thought, Wow, what's this. Where
31
00:02:37.120 --> 00:02:39.240
can I get a book about this? I'd love to
32
00:02:39.280 --> 00:02:43.240
read about this at length? And I waited more than
33
00:02:43.280 --> 00:02:45.400
a decade, and I got fed up, and I thought, well,
34
00:02:45.680 --> 00:02:49.120
I fancy myself a writer. Why do I piece together
35
00:02:49.240 --> 00:02:51.759
the story? And I did the best I could. My
36
00:02:51.800 --> 00:02:53.800
book had some flaws in it, but it came out
37
00:02:53.840 --> 00:02:58.400
in twenty sixteen, and I made one big mistake. I
38
00:02:58.479 --> 00:03:02.080
thought for sure the craft happened on April twelfth of
39
00:03:02.199 --> 00:03:05.800
nineteen forty one. I realized after the book came out
40
00:03:05.840 --> 00:03:08.520
that is not accurate, and if I had to pin
41
00:03:08.639 --> 00:03:11.240
it down, I would say it was twelve days later.
42
00:03:11.560 --> 00:03:15.639
And it fits the pattern and the clues that I
43
00:03:15.759 --> 00:03:19.400
lay out of my book. And one of those stories
44
00:03:19.879 --> 00:03:24.560
was a Cape Jarl newspaper article from the next day, Friday,
45
00:03:24.599 --> 00:03:27.919
April twenty fifth, in which it said a huge bomber
46
00:03:28.039 --> 00:03:32.960
airplane was circling over and over Cape Girardo between I
47
00:03:33.000 --> 00:03:36.000
think eight and nine o'clock in the morning, and people
48
00:03:36.039 --> 00:03:39.800
were getting really nervous and frightened. What's going on. A
49
00:03:39.840 --> 00:03:44.319
bomber is extremely expensive and pricey to run, and you
50
00:03:44.400 --> 00:03:48.199
didn't just take it out on a joy ride. So
51
00:03:48.240 --> 00:03:50.120
an article it feared about a week later in the
52
00:03:50.159 --> 00:03:53.080
paper and they said, well, we were sending it out
53
00:03:53.080 --> 00:03:56.680
from right Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. It was
54
00:03:56.719 --> 00:03:59.240
the Air Corps in those days, and we sent it
55
00:03:59.280 --> 00:04:01.919
out on a test flight and they just happened to
56
00:04:01.960 --> 00:04:04.520
go to Cape Girardo, Missouri. It's as if they were
57
00:04:04.599 --> 00:04:09.000
spircling around looking for something. And we'll get into what
58
00:04:09.159 --> 00:04:12.400
that could be. But there was a very fonn book
59
00:04:12.439 --> 00:04:15.280
by a woman named Linda L. Wallace who said around
60
00:04:15.319 --> 00:04:18.360
this time, she can't pin down the exact date. Two
61
00:04:18.399 --> 00:04:21.600
relatives told her there was an enormous plane that landed
62
00:04:21.639 --> 00:04:25.920
at the Sikeston, Missouri airfield and out came these armed,
63
00:04:26.639 --> 00:04:30.399
presumably armed guards who guarded the plane like it was
64
00:04:30.439 --> 00:04:34.199
there to pick up something. And so the two stories
65
00:04:34.279 --> 00:04:36.680
kind of hang together. And when we go to Roswell,
66
00:04:37.000 --> 00:04:39.720
part of that story is that a huge bomber plane
67
00:04:39.879 --> 00:04:44.600
in July nineteen forty seven was used to, according to
68
00:04:44.639 --> 00:04:48.120
eye witnesses, to pick up the crash remains of at
69
00:04:48.240 --> 00:04:52.480
least one disc possibly two, and dead alien bodies and
70
00:04:52.560 --> 00:04:55.959
fly them to write Patterson Air Force Base. So it
71
00:04:56.000 --> 00:04:59.240
makes you think that they possibly were following a template
72
00:04:59.639 --> 00:05:02.720
that was laid down in the Cape turn't crash. And
73
00:05:02.800 --> 00:05:06.439
it's like the most amazing bombshell story ever that you
74
00:05:06.560 --> 00:05:09.279
may never have heard of. And it's just so frustrating
75
00:05:09.399 --> 00:05:12.720
because it's the terrific story and yet Roswell gets all
76
00:05:12.800 --> 00:05:13.519
the headlines.
77
00:05:14.399 --> 00:05:17.560
Absolutely it does, and I we're going to get into
78
00:05:17.639 --> 00:05:20.439
all that. But I've been thinking about this all day,
79
00:05:20.560 --> 00:05:24.879
like if this case happened well before Roswell, like why
80
00:05:25.000 --> 00:05:28.639
was it not as much covered? But yeah, it's one
81
00:05:28.680 --> 00:05:31.199
of those things where I think that there's been so
82
00:05:31.279 --> 00:05:32.319
many cases that.
83
00:05:36.120 --> 00:05:41.720
No, something happened there. Yeah, we lost justin Yeah that
84
00:05:41.800 --> 00:05:47.879
was weird. It's a weird sound. But I can you
85
00:05:47.920 --> 00:05:51.160
hear me now, yeah, we hear you. It is weird
86
00:05:51.160 --> 00:05:53.360
that it, you know, it was a case that or
87
00:05:53.439 --> 00:05:56.639
something that just kind of slipped away. Roswell took presidents.
88
00:05:56.720 --> 00:05:59.120
But I do also wonder if there were less people
89
00:05:59.120 --> 00:06:04.120
who maybe had noted the forty one crash, whereas we
90
00:06:04.240 --> 00:06:08.759
have people like Jesse Marcel Junior who presented all of
91
00:06:08.800 --> 00:06:10.839
the evidence that he found on the farm when he
92
00:06:10.879 --> 00:06:15.040
showed up to forty seven Roswell incident and immediately got
93
00:06:15.040 --> 00:06:17.480
that information out to people before the government was able
94
00:06:17.519 --> 00:06:20.759
to retrack that info. Tell you tell people as a
95
00:06:20.800 --> 00:06:22.079
weather bloo and so on and so for you know,
96
00:06:22.120 --> 00:06:24.920
there's actually an eyewitness who came forward right away, which
97
00:06:24.959 --> 00:06:28.759
maybe we didn't have in forty one quite the same way. Now,
98
00:06:28.839 --> 00:06:31.879
was this something that was talked about openly in the
99
00:06:31.920 --> 00:06:33.319
area that you grew up in or was it more
100
00:06:33.319 --> 00:06:35.319
of like a whispered local legend.
101
00:06:36.079 --> 00:06:38.399
For some people? They did talk about it, And I
102
00:06:38.480 --> 00:06:41.839
spoke to a woman who was elderly at the time
103
00:06:41.920 --> 00:06:44.639
I talked to her, and she's now deceased. She says,
104
00:06:44.720 --> 00:06:47.360
I was eleven years old at the time of this incident,
105
00:06:47.399 --> 00:06:50.399
and I remember it quite clearly. She didn't claim to
106
00:06:50.439 --> 00:06:54.759
have seen the alienship or the bodies. She said, the
107
00:06:54.800 --> 00:06:58.399
adult stood around talking in my farm community just outside
108
00:06:58.439 --> 00:07:02.839
Cape Girardo about these little space men and how they
109
00:07:02.920 --> 00:07:06.040
crashed in their little spaceship. And she wanted me to know.
110
00:07:06.279 --> 00:07:09.519
We didn't have terms like flying saucer or UFO. We
111
00:07:09.720 --> 00:07:13.399
just call them little spacemen. And so that just gives
112
00:07:13.399 --> 00:07:16.839
you another little piece of corroboration that this really did happen.
113
00:07:17.519 --> 00:07:21.839
I read a couple of different accounts online of citizens
114
00:07:21.839 --> 00:07:24.160
that said, Oh, my grandparents used to talk about this
115
00:07:24.279 --> 00:07:27.720
spaceship crash. If only I had listened more intently or
116
00:07:27.759 --> 00:07:30.519
written some things down, they knew about it, and now
117
00:07:30.560 --> 00:07:33.399
they're passed away. And that's a huge problem for me
118
00:07:33.720 --> 00:07:38.680
today is that almost everyone, well certainly everyone from nineteen
119
00:07:38.720 --> 00:07:42.240
forty one is deceased lest you were like two years
120
00:07:42.240 --> 00:07:45.800
old at the time, and in many cases their children
121
00:07:45.839 --> 00:07:50.800
are deceased eighty five years ago. So you have to
122
00:07:50.839 --> 00:07:53.319
piece the clues together as best you can and I
123
00:07:53.360 --> 00:07:56.839
did that, I think in my book. But I often
124
00:07:56.839 --> 00:07:59.360
get asked, well, how did this just get covered up
125
00:07:59.360 --> 00:08:02.040
by the millit terry so quickly? And it's a simple
126
00:08:02.120 --> 00:08:06.079
answer for that. The sheriff of Cape Girardo County was
127
00:08:06.120 --> 00:08:08.519
said to be at the crash site by an eye witness,
128
00:08:09.160 --> 00:08:12.600
and the sheriff just happened to live in Sikeston, Missouri,
129
00:08:12.680 --> 00:08:16.639
where his brother was an executive in the aerial training program.
130
00:08:16.920 --> 00:08:20.399
The Air Corps was training pilots at the Sikeston Airfield
131
00:08:20.480 --> 00:08:26.319
and they had like citizens soldiers pilots really, and so
132
00:08:26.639 --> 00:08:29.360
all it took was one phone call that evening and said,
133
00:08:29.399 --> 00:08:31.120
you know, like you better get up here. You're not
134
00:08:31.160 --> 00:08:33.799
going to believe your eyes and bring a unit with you.
135
00:08:34.639 --> 00:08:37.120
I'll bet you want to get this scooped up and
136
00:08:37.200 --> 00:08:41.080
take a look at it. So the main eye witness
137
00:08:41.200 --> 00:08:44.360
is a Reverend William G. Huffman, who said, we were
138
00:08:44.399 --> 00:08:47.399
told originally it was an airplane crash. So we got
139
00:08:47.399 --> 00:08:52.360
into a car that was driven by this Cape Chardo
140
00:08:52.440 --> 00:08:56.679
resident who was affiliated with the Cape Giardo Police Department,
141
00:08:57.399 --> 00:09:01.200
and they were driven her out to this farm field
142
00:09:01.679 --> 00:09:04.039
where they saw a blaze going on and the fire
143
00:09:04.080 --> 00:09:07.840
department fighting this fire, and when they got out there,
144
00:09:08.000 --> 00:09:09.879
they walked about a quarter of a mile into this
145
00:09:10.000 --> 00:09:12.879
farm field and could not see any airplane at all.
146
00:09:13.519 --> 00:09:17.799
There was a circular silvery gray disc that had crashed
147
00:09:17.840 --> 00:09:21.879
and was cracked open, and there was metallic debris and
148
00:09:21.919 --> 00:09:25.799
shrapnel around in this field. And there were people poking
149
00:09:25.840 --> 00:09:29.240
through all of this, including the farm department, the police department,
150
00:09:29.320 --> 00:09:34.240
the sheriff, a newsman taking big flash photos with his
151
00:09:35.600 --> 00:09:38.200
news camera of the day with a big flash off
152
00:09:38.200 --> 00:09:41.919
from time to time. I'm sure there were men with flashlights,
153
00:09:42.000 --> 00:09:48.200
local farmers, maybe lanterns, and the sheriff again was there,
154
00:09:48.720 --> 00:09:53.240
and it could have been some doctors and nurses. Supposedly
155
00:09:53.320 --> 00:09:57.480
some nurses were notified and saw the alien bodies that
156
00:09:57.519 --> 00:09:59.720
were on the ground and their faces went white with
157
00:10:00.240 --> 00:10:02.720
they couldn't believe what they were seeing, and it had
158
00:10:02.759 --> 00:10:06.039
to have been a traumatic shock. On the ground, according
159
00:10:06.039 --> 00:10:12.639
to Reverend Huffman wore three small, gray, identical little creatures
160
00:10:12.720 --> 00:10:15.000
or beings, humanoids if you want to call them that,
161
00:10:15.440 --> 00:10:20.919
with big bulbous heads, big black glassy eyes, two little
162
00:10:21.840 --> 00:10:25.039
dots for nostrils, and a tiny little slit for a mouth,
163
00:10:25.159 --> 00:10:31.879
just barely perceptible and no visible ears, gray skin, no hair,
164
00:10:32.399 --> 00:10:36.600
no tattoos, and no jewelry. They may have had a
165
00:10:36.639 --> 00:10:40.840
flight suit, he said. It was all wrinkly skin like,
166
00:10:40.919 --> 00:10:44.759
wrinkly crinkly. Whether it was their skin or a flight suit,
167
00:10:44.879 --> 00:10:48.840
or the two had meshed together and reacted badly to
168
00:10:48.960 --> 00:10:52.039
our oxygen rich atmosphere, he didn't know. But he didn't
169
00:10:52.080 --> 00:10:54.879
see any injuries to the three creatures. Two of them
170
00:10:54.879 --> 00:10:59.399
were inert, obviously dead, and the third was barely breathing.
171
00:10:59.440 --> 00:11:02.720
When Rever Huffman, who was called in to say prayers
172
00:11:02.759 --> 00:11:06.720
and offer spiritual comfort, knelt down in the field and
173
00:11:06.879 --> 00:11:10.200
held it by the wrist and began to say a prayer.
174
00:11:11.440 --> 00:11:14.159
And when he was doing that, the creature just went lip.
175
00:11:14.480 --> 00:11:18.200
He died, He stopped respirating, and it was pretty obvious
176
00:11:18.960 --> 00:11:22.240
he was beyond saving. So he let go of the
177
00:11:22.279 --> 00:11:24.879
wrist and it just like flopped down like a dead doll.
178
00:11:25.919 --> 00:11:30.639
And as he was standing up, two local men picked
179
00:11:30.720 --> 00:11:33.360
up one of the dead aliens and propped him up
180
00:11:33.440 --> 00:11:37.759
under the arms and pose for a photograph. Now, the newsman,
181
00:11:37.799 --> 00:11:42.279
who normally had the big speed graphic camera, didn't use that.
182
00:11:42.799 --> 00:11:45.600
He pulled out a little Brownie box camera and snapped
183
00:11:45.600 --> 00:11:50.480
one photo. And so we'll get to how that is
184
00:11:50.559 --> 00:11:54.720
significant later. But Reverend Huffman said, he walked over to
185
00:11:54.799 --> 00:11:57.759
the disk and took a peek in there, and we
186
00:11:57.879 --> 00:12:00.480
all want to know what he saw, right, should we
187
00:12:00.519 --> 00:12:04.039
skip over that? I don't know? Well, okay, talk me
188
00:12:04.080 --> 00:12:08.679
into it. He saw like a control panel, almost like
189
00:12:08.720 --> 00:12:11.159
a flight deck of an airplane, only it was circular,
190
00:12:11.600 --> 00:12:14.720
and there were some gauges and dials, and a gyroscope
191
00:12:14.879 --> 00:12:18.320
type object in the center of the room, and one
192
00:12:18.399 --> 00:12:21.000
or two little tiny seats that you would assume like
193
00:12:21.120 --> 00:12:23.639
for human size, they would be that of a child,
194
00:12:24.279 --> 00:12:28.240
and it would fit these creatures that were on the ground.
195
00:12:29.519 --> 00:12:33.519
Reverend Huffman was apparently told some first responder reached the
196
00:12:33.559 --> 00:12:36.720
crash and pulled out the bodies and laid them flat
197
00:12:36.759 --> 00:12:40.559
on their backs, staring skyward if they were even alive,
198
00:12:41.080 --> 00:12:43.960
and that may have been the worst possible thing he
199
00:12:44.000 --> 00:12:46.159
could have done. He was trying to do the right thing.
200
00:12:46.559 --> 00:12:50.200
But the creatures obviously could not breathe our air outside
201
00:12:50.240 --> 00:12:56.600
their climate controlled spaceship, and they expired the nuts why
202
00:12:57.399 --> 00:13:00.639
and they did not have any visible injuries, but the
203
00:13:00.679 --> 00:13:04.159
ship sure did and Reverend Huffman said there was a
204
00:13:04.200 --> 00:13:07.840
strange silver band around the top of the interior, and
205
00:13:07.879 --> 00:13:11.559
it had odd pictograms or symbols in it, and he
206
00:13:11.600 --> 00:13:15.360
couldn't make out what those darn things were. And everyone's
207
00:13:15.399 --> 00:13:19.639
buzzing about the debris and the bodies and what's going on.
208
00:13:19.679 --> 00:13:24.360
It were probably almost like an impromptu city party for
209
00:13:24.440 --> 00:13:28.879
a while. And then an outside force arrived, and that
210
00:13:29.159 --> 00:13:34.720
was the pilot soldiers in uniform who encircled the site
211
00:13:34.759 --> 00:13:38.960
when they arrived and hemmed them all in and said,
212
00:13:39.000 --> 00:13:42.080
this never happened. You didn't see this. This is a
213
00:13:42.080 --> 00:13:46.000
matter of national security. You're never to speak of this again.
214
00:13:46.759 --> 00:13:49.440
And we'll have all of that debris you're holding on to,
215
00:13:49.639 --> 00:13:51.799
every bit of it, put it down or hand it over,
216
00:13:52.559 --> 00:13:55.080
and any notes you may have taken in any photos.
217
00:13:55.799 --> 00:13:58.840
So the newsman had that brownie box camera in his
218
00:13:58.919 --> 00:14:02.200
pocket and he did not turn that over happily, and
219
00:14:02.240 --> 00:14:06.240
he got away with it. And Reverend Hoffman said he
220
00:14:06.320 --> 00:14:09.120
was sworn to secrecy and eventually released, and he went
221
00:14:09.159 --> 00:14:13.960
home and he was so ashen faced and so disturbed
222
00:14:14.000 --> 00:14:17.039
by what he saw that his family gathered around late
223
00:14:17.080 --> 00:14:20.720
at night, said where have you been what's happened, and
224
00:14:20.759 --> 00:14:22.679
he said, I'm going to tell you this story once
225
00:14:22.759 --> 00:14:24.600
and then I'm never going to speak of it again.
226
00:14:25.200 --> 00:14:27.519
And happily he did kind of break his vow of
227
00:14:27.559 --> 00:14:30.440
silence when he told his family, and one of his
228
00:14:30.480 --> 00:14:35.360
family members spoke up about fifty years later in nineteen
229
00:14:35.440 --> 00:14:39.120
ninety one, and it began to be investigated by the
230
00:14:39.320 --> 00:14:45.080
like Ray Fowler, Leonard Stringfield, Ryan Wood, doctor Stanton Friedman,
231
00:14:45.159 --> 00:14:47.840
Linda molten Howe. I think almost all of them came
232
00:14:47.840 --> 00:14:50.840
to Cape Girarro and did some research to see if
233
00:14:50.879 --> 00:14:53.799
they can find some proof of this amazing story six
234
00:14:53.879 --> 00:14:57.720
years before Roswell and about eight months before our involvement
235
00:14:57.759 --> 00:14:59.799
in World War Two.
236
00:15:00.440 --> 00:15:02.720
You know, I find what if? I'd really fascinating about
237
00:15:02.720 --> 00:15:04.720
that story. I mean, all of it's very fascinating, but
238
00:15:04.799 --> 00:15:06.799
the one thing that I really find fascinating is the
239
00:15:06.799 --> 00:15:11.080
connection to the incident in forty seven because in his
240
00:15:11.120 --> 00:15:15.080
book and Jesse Marcel Junior's book, he shows photos of
241
00:15:15.120 --> 00:15:18.279
his father, Jesse Marcel, holding some of the things that
242
00:15:18.360 --> 00:15:21.120
he brought back from the air from the crash site
243
00:15:21.159 --> 00:15:23.720
before the government came or military came and took that
244
00:15:23.759 --> 00:15:26.120
stuff away, and one of it was a sheet of
245
00:15:26.159 --> 00:15:29.559
metal that had some strange pictograms on it. And the
246
00:15:29.600 --> 00:15:32.000
fact that that also showed up in the forty one incident,
247
00:15:32.080 --> 00:15:35.840
I think is really really intriguing connection. We're talking in
248
00:15:35.960 --> 00:15:38.039
six years apart, and yet this could very well be
249
00:15:38.080 --> 00:15:40.679
the same alien species and then for the same alien
250
00:15:40.759 --> 00:15:46.120
craft or type of craft that would have ultimately, you know,
251
00:15:46.679 --> 00:15:50.039
I guess crashed, right, craft that would have crashed and
252
00:15:50.080 --> 00:15:52.840
shared the same type of notes.
253
00:15:54.480 --> 00:15:57.759
That's correct. There's a story that I include in my book,
254
00:15:57.759 --> 00:16:01.639
and it's by a man who pull on an internet forum.
255
00:16:02.000 --> 00:16:05.960
He said, my grandparents owned and farmed the land where
256
00:16:06.000 --> 00:16:08.559
the crash occurred. He said, I couldn't get them to
257
00:16:08.559 --> 00:16:10.480
tell me much about it, but I thought it was
258
00:16:10.840 --> 00:16:14.080
of historic importance. So I flew to Cape Girarda, Missouri,
259
00:16:14.720 --> 00:16:17.000
and I went to the property and there was the
260
00:16:17.120 --> 00:16:20.320
old man. He was not as old obviously at the time.
261
00:16:20.799 --> 00:16:23.919
He bought the property from his grandparents, I think just
262
00:16:24.000 --> 00:16:27.080
after World War two, and he was not told of
263
00:16:27.120 --> 00:16:30.759
any spaceship crash. But he did say I was digging
264
00:16:30.799 --> 00:16:34.799
a cistern, a big tank to hold rainwater out in
265
00:16:34.879 --> 00:16:39.559
the far reaches of his backyard near his crops, and
266
00:16:39.679 --> 00:16:43.559
he found these strange strips of metal embedded in the soil,
267
00:16:43.759 --> 00:16:48.399
like what is this? And there was odd imprints of
268
00:16:49.240 --> 00:16:53.679
like again hieroglyphics or pictograms or just symbols he couldn't
269
00:16:53.720 --> 00:16:57.039
make out. And he said that I could not bend
270
00:16:57.080 --> 00:16:59.879
permanently or crease it, and I could not how to
271
00:16:59.879 --> 00:17:04.640
it with the sharpest like wirecutters or scissors or knives
272
00:17:04.640 --> 00:17:07.000
that he had on the farm. It was just like
273
00:17:07.279 --> 00:17:11.400
unlike anything he had ever seen. So he apparently gathered
274
00:17:11.440 --> 00:17:14.519
them all up and hid them in his barn. And
275
00:17:14.599 --> 00:17:18.039
the guy who posted this information said, I couldn't get
276
00:17:18.039 --> 00:17:20.039
the old guy to tell me what he did with
277
00:17:20.119 --> 00:17:24.119
that eventually, so it could be floating around today or
278
00:17:24.160 --> 00:17:28.279
maybe stolen by goodness knows who, Maybe a government agent
279
00:17:28.319 --> 00:17:30.680
came in and took it. But I'd like to think
280
00:17:31.200 --> 00:17:33.720
maybe he puts some in a safety deposit box in
281
00:17:33.759 --> 00:17:36.279
a bank, and maybe we'll get a hold of that someday.
282
00:17:37.240 --> 00:17:41.000
But again, it sounds like the Roswell crash, the same
283
00:17:41.039 --> 00:17:44.880
report of the same kind of big headed gray aliens
284
00:17:45.279 --> 00:17:47.839
in the same kind of spaceship that had metal with
285
00:17:48.480 --> 00:17:53.880
the occasional odd imprintable a logo or a picture of something,
286
00:17:54.000 --> 00:17:58.079
or letter or number that Jesse Marcel said, I distinctly
287
00:17:58.119 --> 00:18:01.240
saw when my father brought in the debris one night
288
00:18:01.559 --> 00:18:04.480
in forty seven. But in nineteen forty one we had
289
00:18:04.680 --> 00:18:07.519
a big problem in getting out the truth. There was
290
00:18:07.559 --> 00:18:10.319
a lot of censorship in those days. You weren't even
291
00:18:10.359 --> 00:18:14.400
allowed to write or photograph. The fact that the President
292
00:18:14.480 --> 00:18:17.880
of the United States is confined to a wheelchair and
293
00:18:17.960 --> 00:18:21.200
cannot walk. He has to have help to stand and
294
00:18:21.279 --> 00:18:24.480
to barely move a few paces, and anyone who tries
295
00:18:24.559 --> 00:18:29.799
to take a photograph of President Roosevelt would have the
296
00:18:29.839 --> 00:18:32.119
camera knocked out of his hands or snatched away in
297
00:18:32.160 --> 00:18:35.319
the film removed. So that gives you a level of
298
00:18:36.240 --> 00:18:39.720
understanding that if you were told not to do something,
299
00:18:39.759 --> 00:18:43.160
not to write or to talk about something, you did
300
00:18:43.200 --> 00:18:46.359
your patriotic duty or you were in trouble. So that's
301
00:18:46.400 --> 00:18:50.079
another factor that helped to crush getting the truth out
302
00:18:50.119 --> 00:18:52.519
about the Cape Charles story. They were not to write
303
00:18:52.519 --> 00:18:55.359
about it in the papers, and they did not. I've
304
00:18:55.559 --> 00:18:59.359
scoured them thoroughly, can't find any evidence of the story,
305
00:18:59.559 --> 00:19:03.240
but or don't see any story of an airplane crashing either.
306
00:19:03.880 --> 00:19:04.200
Right.
307
00:19:06.640 --> 00:19:10.480
Well, and That's the thing about both of these cases,
308
00:19:10.720 --> 00:19:14.440
and probably even more than we even realize, is that,
309
00:19:15.680 --> 00:19:21.519
like Roswell, they originally printed that it was a UFO,
310
00:19:22.000 --> 00:19:24.519
meaning they just didn't know what it was, and then
311
00:19:24.759 --> 00:19:27.359
eventually it came out and said, well, this is a
312
00:19:27.359 --> 00:19:29.680
weather balloon, where you know, there's nothing to worry about,
313
00:19:29.680 --> 00:19:33.440
it's fine. In this case, they thought it was some
314
00:19:33.480 --> 00:19:37.720
type of airplane crash but then found out different.
315
00:19:39.319 --> 00:19:40.000
How did they.
316
00:19:41.079 --> 00:19:43.880
Originally come across this and think it was an airplane
317
00:19:44.160 --> 00:19:45.640
come to find out something else.
318
00:19:47.279 --> 00:19:50.960
I have a source that had a source. A lot
319
00:19:51.000 --> 00:19:53.480
of it is second hand, I realized, but when you
320
00:19:53.519 --> 00:19:58.079
have a story that's old and everyone's deceased. Apparently a
321
00:19:58.119 --> 00:20:02.079
farm hand was there the farm that night and saw
322
00:20:02.119 --> 00:20:05.599
the crash and saw a big fireball go up and thought,
323
00:20:05.599 --> 00:20:08.400
oh my gosh, an airplane must have overshot the runway.
324
00:20:08.799 --> 00:20:12.359
The area where I think it crashed. It was near
325
00:20:12.440 --> 00:20:17.319
two different airfields south of Cape in farm territory, So
326
00:20:17.400 --> 00:20:20.000
he rushed inside and called the operator and they got
327
00:20:20.079 --> 00:20:22.480
him in touch with the Cape Jardo Fire Department, which
328
00:20:22.519 --> 00:20:26.920
shared a building with the Cape Police Department downtown, So
329
00:20:27.039 --> 00:20:30.200
that's how they could come rushing out so quickly, and
330
00:20:30.279 --> 00:20:34.559
they apparently did, and we're fighting the fire. Many years later,
331
00:20:34.720 --> 00:20:38.880
the Huffman story made the news in even the Cape
332
00:20:38.920 --> 00:20:44.880
Jardo newspaper, and a Cape Tardo retired fireman said, I'm
333
00:20:45.200 --> 00:20:48.200
very ill with cancer and gathered his family around and said,
334
00:20:48.599 --> 00:20:51.759
I want you to know this story that Reverenduffman told
335
00:20:51.839 --> 00:20:57.480
is entirely true. I was there fighting the fire, doing
336
00:20:57.519 --> 00:21:01.119
my job as I was instructed, and I saw the craft,
337
00:21:01.640 --> 00:21:05.559
I saw the three bodies. The Huffman narrative is correct.
338
00:21:06.160 --> 00:21:09.039
And he said the military came in and caught him
339
00:21:09.079 --> 00:21:12.119
trying to sneak a piece of the debris into his pocket,
340
00:21:12.799 --> 00:21:15.480
and they chewed him out, forced him to hand it over,
341
00:21:16.279 --> 00:21:18.359
and then they booted him out of the crash site
342
00:21:18.359 --> 00:21:21.119
and sent him home. And he said, in the aftermath,
343
00:21:21.200 --> 00:21:23.720
I felt like I was being watched around town and
344
00:21:23.799 --> 00:21:26.559
my phone was tapped. So I looked into that. And
345
00:21:26.640 --> 00:21:30.039
in nineteen forty one, the director of the FBI was
346
00:21:30.119 --> 00:21:33.960
crazy about tapping people's phones. There was very little regulation
347
00:21:34.079 --> 00:21:36.680
against it, and he got away with doing almost anything
348
00:21:36.720 --> 00:21:40.400
he wanted. So there was an FBI office that was
349
00:21:40.440 --> 00:21:44.559
opened in Cape Girardo in about a month before the
350
00:21:44.640 --> 00:21:49.559
crash in March of forty one. And so it makes
351
00:21:49.599 --> 00:21:52.680
sense that Reverend Upman said I saw an FBI man
352
00:21:52.759 --> 00:21:55.599
who may have been the one who swore him to secrecy.
353
00:21:56.440 --> 00:22:01.839
So the story in every way hangs together from little
354
00:22:01.880 --> 00:22:06.240
bits and pieces. We can adjust to this. Just like
355
00:22:06.279 --> 00:22:09.039
a year or two ago, I was contacted on Twitter
356
00:22:09.079 --> 00:22:15.799
by a woman who said, my grandmother's sister lived on
357
00:22:15.839 --> 00:22:18.960
a farm not too far from the crash site, and
358
00:22:19.000 --> 00:22:22.359
they saw this thing flying overhead and it was pretty
359
00:22:22.359 --> 00:22:26.359
low and it was emitting sparks, and that it came
360
00:22:26.440 --> 00:22:30.359
down near another relatives farm and she knows the story
361
00:22:30.400 --> 00:22:32.799
is true. Now I wanted more information, give me more
362
00:22:32.799 --> 00:22:38.000
details than she climbed up. People may still be scared
363
00:22:38.039 --> 00:22:42.039
to talk about even old family lore to this day
364
00:22:42.200 --> 00:22:44.880
that you know the government can come knocking on your
365
00:22:44.880 --> 00:22:49.160
door and be very intimidating. I had a friend from
366
00:22:49.240 --> 00:22:52.279
high school who wanted to investigate this story around the
367
00:22:52.359 --> 00:22:55.599
year two thousand, two thousand and one, and he began
368
00:22:55.720 --> 00:22:59.839
checking out library books on UFOs and contacting UFO investigators
369
00:23:00.160 --> 00:23:02.279
coming to Cape Charto. One day he went to the
370
00:23:02.319 --> 00:23:06.039
Cape Charto Public Library and they said, oh, two men
371
00:23:06.079 --> 00:23:10.240
in suits were here asking questions about you, asking questions
372
00:23:10.319 --> 00:23:13.240
about what books you've been checking out and what you're like,
373
00:23:14.440 --> 00:23:18.200
and so even as of like twenty four or twenty
374
00:23:18.240 --> 00:23:21.880
five years ago, this may have been an attempt to
375
00:23:22.000 --> 00:23:26.200
either monitor the story or possibly to discredit it or
376
00:23:26.839 --> 00:23:32.480
destroy it. But there's so many UFO cases. I witnessed
377
00:23:32.519 --> 00:23:36.480
testimony of other stories and crashes and videos online, and
378
00:23:36.559 --> 00:23:40.519
people are putting things from their cell phones and getting
379
00:23:40.559 --> 00:23:43.160
footage and putting it on the internet, and it's making
380
00:23:43.240 --> 00:23:46.240
TV shows. I think the government's kind of given up
381
00:23:46.640 --> 00:23:48.279
on trying to crush these stories.
382
00:23:51.400 --> 00:23:55.480
Well, and I mean with the invention of AI, sometimes
383
00:23:55.480 --> 00:23:57.160
you can't even tell.
384
00:23:57.160 --> 00:24:03.480
Yeah, and you trust anyone right, Well, now, what would
385
00:24:03.519 --> 00:24:08.640
you consider is the strongest piece of evidence or testimony
386
00:24:08.759 --> 00:24:09.920
in this particular case.
387
00:24:11.240 --> 00:24:16.119
Well, FDR apparently dictated some Oval Office memos and I
388
00:24:16.119 --> 00:24:18.240
put him in the book and he refers to these
389
00:24:18.279 --> 00:24:21.119
celestial wonders that have come to us and a non
390
00:24:21.319 --> 00:24:25.079
Terrestrial Science and Technology committee that he formed in the
391
00:24:25.119 --> 00:24:29.240
aftermath of the crash. And there are other other references
392
00:24:29.559 --> 00:24:32.960
such as a Nathan Twining report on Roswell of September
393
00:24:33.039 --> 00:24:36.039
nineteen forty seven and In it, he said the recoveries
394
00:24:36.079 --> 00:24:40.759
from the New Mexico Desert floor were deemed extraterrestrial in
395
00:24:40.880 --> 00:24:45.240
nature when compared to the Missouri discovery of nineteen forty one.
396
00:24:45.319 --> 00:24:48.720
He says this twice in this report, and so you know,
397
00:24:48.880 --> 00:24:51.759
you've got to just do a double take again and again.
398
00:24:52.960 --> 00:24:57.359
There another little document was a typed up piece of
399
00:24:57.400 --> 00:25:02.319
paper that a UFO investigator got from an alleged former
400
00:25:02.519 --> 00:25:07.960
American Army Intelligence counter Intelligence Corps member who said, I'm
401
00:25:08.000 --> 00:25:11.319
dying of cancer in the late nineties, and he wanted
402
00:25:11.319 --> 00:25:13.799
to get this story out before he died, and he
403
00:25:13.920 --> 00:25:17.799
told some secrets. In the first secret, he told there
404
00:25:17.880 --> 00:25:22.519
was an lenticular arrowdyne that crashed in southern Missouri in
405
00:25:22.640 --> 00:25:28.160
nineteen forty one. And you know, again, it just can't
406
00:25:28.160 --> 00:25:30.720
be anything else but the Cape Gerrodo crash. And it
407
00:25:30.799 --> 00:25:35.039
was a very real event. And I was going through
408
00:25:35.079 --> 00:25:39.160
some other research, and in my book, there's a man
409
00:25:39.279 --> 00:25:43.759
named Fletcher Pratt. He's a New York City newspaper reporter
410
00:25:44.240 --> 00:25:48.400
who stood up at a nineteen forty nine science conference
411
00:25:48.440 --> 00:25:52.920
and said, my military contacts have told me an alien
412
00:25:52.960 --> 00:25:57.759
space spaceship crashed in this decade in the forties and
413
00:25:57.880 --> 00:26:01.960
little humanoid, strange creatures of at least three feet in
414
00:26:02.079 --> 00:26:05.640
height were pulled out of it, and that it was
415
00:26:05.680 --> 00:26:08.759
the air and the atmospheric pressure that killed him. So
416
00:26:08.920 --> 00:26:12.880
again that sounds like Cape Jurdle or possibly Roswell, or
417
00:26:12.880 --> 00:26:16.880
maybe emerging of the two. But again we hear this
418
00:26:17.000 --> 00:26:23.960
atmospheric pressure or the oxygen level was just a killer
419
00:26:24.000 --> 00:26:27.960
for these guys. They weren't used to getting out walking around.
420
00:26:28.039 --> 00:26:33.279
I suppose General George Marshall was approached in the early fifties,
421
00:26:33.319 --> 00:26:37.880
according to a scientist who attended a conference in Mexico City,
422
00:26:38.279 --> 00:26:41.200
and he said, I asked General Marshall, what's up with
423
00:26:41.319 --> 00:26:44.759
these UFOs, these flying saucers. And the General was very
424
00:26:44.759 --> 00:26:47.799
candid with him and said, we've had three crashes, and
425
00:26:47.880 --> 00:26:51.599
in each case the atmospheric pressure in the air, they
426
00:26:51.599 --> 00:26:55.680
couldn't breathe it and they incinerated it from within. That
427
00:26:55.759 --> 00:26:58.880
they looked all right on the outside. But you know,
428
00:26:58.960 --> 00:27:02.519
this sounds just like Abe Gerardo. So then we get
429
00:27:02.559 --> 00:27:08.599
to another story that sure seems to fit the Cape narrative,
430
00:27:09.240 --> 00:27:12.400
and that takes place in Washington, d C. If you've
431
00:27:12.440 --> 00:27:17.480
read the book, you know another member of Roosevelt's cabinet
432
00:27:17.559 --> 00:27:24.480
was involved in that story. It was very famous. Secretary
433
00:27:24.519 --> 00:27:29.559
of State Cordell Hull, according to his cousin, took him
434
00:27:29.599 --> 00:27:32.279
to the steps of the Capitol building one day, apparently
435
00:27:32.319 --> 00:27:35.480
in the early forties and swore him to secrecy about
436
00:27:35.480 --> 00:27:38.279
what you're about to see. That sounds familiar. So they
437
00:27:38.319 --> 00:27:41.359
went in the Capitol and went down below many levels,
438
00:27:41.400 --> 00:27:45.279
below the street level, and down this corridor and to
439
00:27:45.359 --> 00:27:47.960
a storeroom and they opened it up, and inside were
440
00:27:48.079 --> 00:27:51.759
three glass jars with three dead aliens with the big head,
441
00:27:52.000 --> 00:27:55.599
black eyes, tiny little dots and you know, slip from out,
442
00:27:56.000 --> 00:27:59.200
long thin arms and legs floating in what appeared to
443
00:27:59.200 --> 00:28:02.839
be from albo hide as a preservative. And across the
444
00:28:02.960 --> 00:28:08.119
room were these boxes of metallic debris that Cordel hall
445
00:28:08.200 --> 00:28:10.720
so it was from a ship that had crashed. And
446
00:28:10.759 --> 00:28:12.839
he said, we have to keep this a secret. We
447
00:28:12.960 --> 00:28:15.839
don't want to set off a panic. So it's an
448
00:28:15.880 --> 00:28:19.519
exact description. There were no visible injuries reported on these
449
00:28:19.519 --> 00:28:23.480
alien bodies. What else could it be? And I got
450
00:28:23.480 --> 00:28:25.720
a phone call a few years ago on New Year's
451
00:28:25.720 --> 00:28:29.119
Eve from an elderly gentleman. He said, I want to
452
00:28:29.160 --> 00:28:32.359
confirm that story under the Capitol. I know because I
453
00:28:32.440 --> 00:28:34.720
saw it as a little boy. It was the last
454
00:28:34.799 --> 00:28:37.759
day of school and my father, who worked for FDR
455
00:28:38.039 --> 00:28:41.359
in the Bureau of Statistics and was a good friend
456
00:28:41.440 --> 00:28:44.480
to Cordel Hall, took me under the Capitol. We had
457
00:28:44.559 --> 00:28:47.079
lunch at the Senate Office Building, and then we went
458
00:28:47.200 --> 00:28:51.119
under the Capitol and down the storeroom, down the corridor
459
00:28:51.160 --> 00:28:53.960
to his storeroom and opened it up and he said,
460
00:28:53.960 --> 00:28:56.559
my father just said, oh, this must be some kind
461
00:28:56.599 --> 00:28:59.319
of storeroom. And he let me look at these three
462
00:28:59.440 --> 00:29:03.119
bodies and this metallic crash debris. So I think it
463
00:29:03.160 --> 00:29:08.279
was pretty obvious that his father, Stuart Arthur Rice, knew
464
00:29:08.279 --> 00:29:11.640
exactly what was in this room. He didn't register any surprise,
465
00:29:12.359 --> 00:29:14.880
you know, he knew exactly where the room was without
466
00:29:14.920 --> 00:29:17.680
an escort, and he wanted to show his son this
467
00:29:17.960 --> 00:29:21.000
historic case, but not tell him anything because it was
468
00:29:21.039 --> 00:29:23.519
a staid secret and he was probably afraid his son
469
00:29:23.519 --> 00:29:26.839
would blab. And so the old man told me in
470
00:29:26.920 --> 00:29:29.400
this phone call some years ago he since passed away,
471
00:29:29.880 --> 00:29:32.319
that his dad did show him this, and he saw it,
472
00:29:32.839 --> 00:29:35.039
and the whole thing is true. So where would you
473
00:29:35.119 --> 00:29:38.480
take Cape Girardo fines. After you hustled them out of there,
474
00:29:38.519 --> 00:29:40.960
the military scooped it up, took it to Sikeston to
475
00:29:41.039 --> 00:29:45.680
their airfield, probably overnight, probably put it on that bomber
476
00:29:45.680 --> 00:29:48.519
plane the next morning, and flew at East. But there
477
00:29:48.640 --> 00:29:53.599
was no Pentagon, no CIA, no NSA, no DA Defense Intelligence.
478
00:29:54.480 --> 00:29:57.839
Where would you hide this stuff? And that's where we
479
00:29:57.880 --> 00:30:02.000
get into the Freemason connection. Was a hardcore Freemason and
480
00:30:02.039 --> 00:30:04.839
they revere the Capitol building. It's even on the cover
481
00:30:05.039 --> 00:30:11.640
of Masonic literature. So again, Fdr and Hull, who used
482
00:30:11.680 --> 00:30:14.920
to serve in the Congress, and Harry Truman who served
483
00:30:14.960 --> 00:30:18.960
in the Senate and in the Congress, were all hardcore Freemasons.
484
00:30:19.279 --> 00:30:22.000
And where would you put this down below in the
485
00:30:22.000 --> 00:30:25.599
Capitol until the heat dies down? You never know what's
486
00:30:25.680 --> 00:30:27.880
going to happen next. I'm sure they were all keeping
487
00:30:27.920 --> 00:30:31.319
their eyes and ears open. And Harry Truman was the
488
00:30:31.319 --> 00:30:35.319
Grand Master Freemason of the state of Missouri, so I'm
489
00:30:35.400 --> 00:30:39.200
sure he found out pretty soon from either his government
490
00:30:39.240 --> 00:30:42.359
contacts or his Masonic contacts. And he had been in
491
00:30:42.400 --> 00:30:44.799
Cape Gerardo a number of times and even lived there
492
00:30:44.880 --> 00:30:47.559
in the year nineteen oh six when he got some
493
00:30:47.640 --> 00:30:51.519
military training in the National Guard and FDR had been
494
00:30:51.559 --> 00:30:56.720
to Cape Girardo in nineteen twenty, so you would think
495
00:30:56.799 --> 00:30:59.680
my hometown's the most obscure nothing place in the country.
496
00:31:00.000 --> 00:31:01.880
When I was growing up, it was just a sleepy
497
00:31:01.880 --> 00:31:04.039
little town. But I found out there was a lot
498
00:31:04.119 --> 00:31:08.279
more going on there, and it's an eye opening saga
499
00:31:08.359 --> 00:31:11.720
that I just wish would go more mainstream today and
500
00:31:11.839 --> 00:31:14.400
kind of push roswell for attention, you know.
501
00:31:15.079 --> 00:31:17.440
Yeah, you know, it's always those sleepy little towns that
502
00:31:17.480 --> 00:31:20.400
hold the biggest secrets in my experience.
503
00:31:21.160 --> 00:31:25.480
Yeah, we're gonna take a quick and hear from our sponsors.
504
00:31:25.640 --> 00:31:26.400

515
00:32:17.319 --> 00:32:20.559
Before the break, Eric mentioned you know small towns and
516
00:32:20.839 --> 00:32:23.799
the secrets that they have. I mean, I live in
517
00:32:23.839 --> 00:32:26.720
North Dakota. The majority of the state is nothing but
518
00:32:26.799 --> 00:32:31.519
small towns. And I sent Eric a video of this
519
00:32:31.599 --> 00:32:35.279
that I saw on TikTok and there's I mean, I
520
00:32:35.359 --> 00:32:37.039
knew this was well before I sent this to him,
521
00:32:37.079 --> 00:32:41.519
But Devil's Lake is supposedly the home of probably one
522
00:32:41.519 --> 00:32:45.720
of the biggest cryptic cases that there are, so yeah,
523
00:32:47.200 --> 00:32:50.119
the biggest. The funniest thing too, though, is that, you know,
524
00:32:51.079 --> 00:32:53.279
anything that's in a small town, it's kind of swept
525
00:32:53.319 --> 00:32:57.160
under the rug. And Paul, you can probably attest to
526
00:32:57.200 --> 00:33:01.799
us that it's not necessarily talked about. It's kind of
527
00:33:01.839 --> 00:33:06.359
like hush hush, especially back in the nineteen forties, nineteen fifties,
528
00:33:06.880 --> 00:33:10.160
even a lot today, especially here in North Dakota. You
529
00:33:10.200 --> 00:33:12.839
don't talk about that. We you know, we don't talk
530
00:33:12.880 --> 00:33:15.839
about that. That's that's not brought up. Is that kind
531
00:33:15.839 --> 00:33:17.839
of true for Cape Gerardo as well?
532
00:33:17.920 --> 00:33:20.200
I think somewhat. And if you did talk about it,
533
00:33:20.240 --> 00:33:23.160
I'm sure people will at least think you're crazy. If
534
00:33:23.160 --> 00:33:26.319
they were not familiar with this alien in spaceship crush landing.
535
00:33:26.720 --> 00:33:29.799
Or you mean you were sworn to secrecy and you're
536
00:33:29.799 --> 00:33:32.759
breaking your patriotic oath and talking about it. You know
537
00:33:32.839 --> 00:33:36.440
what's wrong with you? So you really want to shut
538
00:33:36.519 --> 00:33:39.920
up now. Reverend Hoffman said, two or three weeks after
539
00:33:39.960 --> 00:33:43.319
the crash, there was a real atmosphere of fearing cape
540
00:33:43.599 --> 00:33:46.160
that you didn't want to get into trouble. And that
541
00:33:46.279 --> 00:33:49.720
newsman who took the little photograph with the box camera
542
00:33:50.240 --> 00:33:52.480
came up to him on his front porch and said,
543
00:33:52.519 --> 00:33:54.559
I've got a copy of this. I want you to
544
00:33:54.599 --> 00:33:57.480
have a copy. And he handed over a copy of
545
00:33:57.519 --> 00:34:00.359
that picture of the alien propped up under the arm arms.
546
00:34:00.960 --> 00:34:04.160
So Reverend Huffman really didn't want it, but he held
547
00:34:04.160 --> 00:34:06.119
on to it and eventually gave it to his son
548
00:34:06.599 --> 00:34:08.880
for safe keeping. And the son moved to a small
549
00:34:08.880 --> 00:34:13.320
town in Kansas where he fathered two or three children,
550
00:34:13.519 --> 00:34:16.159
and one of them was his daughter, who eventually brought
551
00:34:16.199 --> 00:34:19.960
out the Hoffman family narrative in the nineties. She said,
552
00:34:20.039 --> 00:34:23.239
I saw that photograph at family parties at least a
553
00:34:23.280 --> 00:34:26.760
dozen times, and it always creeped her out. It was
554
00:34:26.880 --> 00:34:30.159
again the big, bulbous headed alien with big black eyes,
555
00:34:30.199 --> 00:34:33.559
and it just scared her. As a little girl. She
556
00:34:33.639 --> 00:34:36.039
got glimpses of the picture, she wanted to know more
557
00:34:36.119 --> 00:34:40.400
than I fully would not tell her. So the photograph
558
00:34:40.639 --> 00:34:43.719
disappeared one day when a neighbor came over and asked
559
00:34:44.599 --> 00:34:48.119
to inspect it closely and said, I know something about photography.
560
00:34:48.840 --> 00:34:51.079
I'll just take this picture and bring it back later
561
00:34:51.119 --> 00:34:54.599
after I examine it. And instead he skipped on. He
562
00:34:54.639 --> 00:34:57.320
moved away. Within days or about a week later, he
563
00:34:57.440 --> 00:35:00.440
was gone, and so was the picture. It makes you
564
00:35:00.480 --> 00:35:03.679
wonder if the newsman who used that brownie camera had
565
00:35:03.679 --> 00:35:05.960
made a copy, how many other copies did he have
566
00:35:06.079 --> 00:35:08.639
and did he offer them around to other people that
567
00:35:08.719 --> 00:35:11.840
he recognized from the crash site. So far, nothing has
568
00:35:11.880 --> 00:35:15.000
turned up, and if you google it on the internet
569
00:35:15.039 --> 00:35:18.480
you might see a recreation for a sci fi documentary
570
00:35:19.000 --> 00:35:22.280
of a couple of local men farmers holding up a dead,
571
00:35:22.320 --> 00:35:26.360
creepy Lookmalian. But there was another US president I found
572
00:35:26.400 --> 00:35:29.599
out who came to Cape Girardo in the nineteen twenties,
573
00:35:29.679 --> 00:35:32.800
in the seventies, and as president in the nineteen eighties,
574
00:35:32.800 --> 00:35:38.440
and that's Ronald Reagan. His mentor was Reverend Ben Hill Cleaver,
575
00:35:38.960 --> 00:35:41.280
and he took over as the pastor of a church
576
00:35:41.360 --> 00:35:44.719
in Cape Girardo in nineteen twenty eight. I think from
577
00:35:44.760 --> 00:35:48.760
my own great grandfather, Reverend ol Smith, who got transferred
578
00:35:48.760 --> 00:35:52.559
to Saint Louis so Reagan's mentor. He just loved the
579
00:35:52.559 --> 00:35:55.599
guy and was engaged to the man's daughter for a while.
580
00:35:57.079 --> 00:35:59.920
Eventually fell apart and he went on to be a
581
00:36:00.119 --> 00:36:03.639
radio man. But he visited Cape Girardo and came back
582
00:36:03.639 --> 00:36:06.400
as president and did something in town. He did give
583
00:36:06.440 --> 00:36:08.840
a speech and mentioned how he used to come to
584
00:36:08.880 --> 00:36:13.360
Cape Girardo. And there's a letter that has surfaced from
585
00:36:13.400 --> 00:36:16.280
doctor Edward Teller, who was a friend of Ronald Reagan's.
586
00:36:16.480 --> 00:36:21.239
It's from the early nineteen eighties and there's a comment
587
00:36:21.360 --> 00:36:25.159
to many comments about the new star Wars missile defense
588
00:36:25.199 --> 00:36:29.559
program that doctor Teller wanted in on. But he mentioned, quote,
589
00:36:29.719 --> 00:36:33.679
a menace greater than the nuclear arms race exists. It
590
00:36:33.760 --> 00:36:37.639
does not originate here on Earth, but comes from space itself.
591
00:36:37.920 --> 00:36:41.719
A danger was perceived in nineteen thirty nine, only two
592
00:36:41.800 --> 00:36:45.800
years before a UFO was captured. Now what could that
593
00:36:45.880 --> 00:36:49.880
be again? And he doesn't explain to Reagan what was
594
00:36:50.599 --> 00:36:53.320
this UFO that was captured two years after thirty nine
595
00:36:53.360 --> 00:36:57.239
and forty one, because I think Reagan already knew, probably
596
00:36:57.360 --> 00:37:00.519
found out from his good friend, Reverend Ben Hill Cleaver,
597
00:37:00.880 --> 00:37:03.679
who lived in nineteen seventy five before he passed away,
598
00:37:03.679 --> 00:37:06.440
and he was a really good man. So Reagan is
599
00:37:06.519 --> 00:37:09.920
quoted as saying in one document, I used to hear
600
00:37:10.079 --> 00:37:12.760
rumors about this sort of thing when I was in pictures,
601
00:37:13.519 --> 00:37:16.480
so that would have been, you know, the forties and fifties,
602
00:37:16.960 --> 00:37:21.079
and it was probably something that could have been discussed
603
00:37:21.239 --> 00:37:23.519
in a letter or a phone call from this cape
604
00:37:23.599 --> 00:37:27.480
Chardo pastor who replaced my great grandfather. So again we
605
00:37:27.519 --> 00:37:31.400
have all kinds of presidential stuff going on in this
606
00:37:31.480 --> 00:37:36.559
small town that was very heavily Masonic. Rush Limbaugh the
607
00:37:36.599 --> 00:37:41.000
first was a leading freemason in town, and he may
608
00:37:41.000 --> 00:37:43.440
have told his son, and on his radio program, I
609
00:37:43.480 --> 00:37:47.119
think a near two thousand, they had live call ins,
610
00:37:47.159 --> 00:37:50.440
and a caller asked Rush Limba the broadcaster, what's up
611
00:37:50.440 --> 00:37:54.280
with this UFO crash in your hometown, Rush, And he said,
612
00:37:54.320 --> 00:37:58.000
you know, there's more to this story than you might think,
613
00:37:58.360 --> 00:38:00.599
and then he moved on to the next column. He
614
00:38:00.679 --> 00:38:03.280
left it intriguing. He didn't say, what a bunch of chunk,
615
00:38:03.719 --> 00:38:06.840
that rumor's not true, Get out of here with that garbage.
616
00:38:06.840 --> 00:38:10.199
But he could have said anything like that, but he
617
00:38:10.280 --> 00:38:13.599
did not dismiss the story and instead made you think
618
00:38:13.679 --> 00:38:16.880
that this thing was quite real, but he couldn't discuss
619
00:38:16.880 --> 00:38:21.000
it with a kind of conservative audience. I wrote to
620
00:38:21.119 --> 00:38:23.760
Rush and I didn't get a response. But he used
621
00:38:23.800 --> 00:38:26.199
to be my little league umpire when I played ball
622
00:38:26.239 --> 00:38:29.599
as a skinny kid long ago in Cape Girardo. He
623
00:38:29.719 --> 00:38:34.519
was just an obscure radio DJ named Rusty Saw, and
624
00:38:34.599 --> 00:38:38.719
he need he needed to augment his income by umpiring
625
00:38:38.760 --> 00:38:42.119
baseball games in the park. So he didn't tell me
626
00:38:42.159 --> 00:38:45.239
then and he didn't tell Meny later as an adult,
627
00:38:45.679 --> 00:38:47.559
but I think he knew plenty.
628
00:38:48.679 --> 00:38:52.159
Yeah, well, I do have a quick follow of it.
629
00:38:52.199 --> 00:38:58.079
So you mentioned Ronald Reagan and that his mentor kind
630
00:38:58.079 --> 00:39:02.360
of maybe told him. I've seen, especially in the past
631
00:39:02.440 --> 00:39:06.840
few years, that there are presidents that are asked this
632
00:39:06.920 --> 00:39:14.079
question that are there aliens? Barack Obama, Clinton, There's been
633
00:39:14.119 --> 00:39:18.000
a couple of others and they don't right out say no,
634
00:39:18.719 --> 00:39:24.360
but they'll say I can't talk about this. You know,
635
00:39:26.840 --> 00:39:34.239
I've seen the files and no comment. Now, do you
636
00:39:34.320 --> 00:39:43.480
feel that they are under strict law or or rules, saying,
637
00:39:43.960 --> 00:39:50.400
just like the people that came across this UFO, yeah.
638
00:39:49.960 --> 00:39:52.519
I would thank you. As presidents are right just exactly
639
00:39:52.559 --> 00:39:55.000
as you say, or they give a flippant answer. I
640
00:39:55.000 --> 00:39:56.960
can't tell you. If I did, I'd have to kill
641
00:39:57.000 --> 00:40:01.000
you haha. Or we might be visit. It is possible.
642
00:40:02.199 --> 00:40:05.760
Reagan was somewhat of an exception in his second term
643
00:40:06.480 --> 00:40:08.880
where he didn't come to Cape Chardo. As president on
644
00:40:08.960 --> 00:40:11.920
Air Force One, he would talk openly about, well, what
645
00:40:12.039 --> 00:40:14.760
if we were facing an alien threat from above? And
646
00:40:14.800 --> 00:40:17.639
he said this over and over and it used to
647
00:40:17.719 --> 00:40:20.280
kind of irritate some of his handlers. He didn't want
648
00:40:20.320 --> 00:40:22.599
him to bring it up, but he felt very strongly.
649
00:40:23.280 --> 00:40:26.360
I'm learning more about this in my research for President
650
00:40:26.440 --> 00:40:29.480
Reagan's Close Encounter is my next book. But he was
651
00:40:29.519 --> 00:40:32.800
a good man and I think a pretty good president,
652
00:40:32.840 --> 00:40:35.119
and he was square with people. He would just tell
653
00:40:35.119 --> 00:40:38.039
you things honestly. But I think at some point, like
654
00:40:38.079 --> 00:40:42.239
you say, they're told don't talk about this. This could
655
00:40:42.280 --> 00:40:46.480
start a panic royal the stock market, possibly lead to
656
00:40:46.760 --> 00:40:51.320
economic depression, and people might quit their jobs or quit
657
00:40:51.360 --> 00:40:55.280
their faith and they just have this notion that we're
658
00:40:55.320 --> 00:40:58.400
all children who can't handle the truth, and we'll panic
659
00:40:58.440 --> 00:41:01.719
in the streets. Look at the.
660
00:41:04.719 --> 00:41:08.199
Orson Wells radio broad christ and what happened with that.
661
00:41:09.159 --> 00:41:10.840
I brought that up in my book. That had to
662
00:41:10.880 --> 00:41:15.199
have been another factor, that there was a bit of
663
00:41:15.239 --> 00:41:18.400
a panic, a mild panic, and it was overblown by
664
00:41:18.480 --> 00:41:22.679
Orson Wells in the press afterwards. But it was his
665
00:41:24.320 --> 00:41:27.159
radio play War of the Worlds by H. G. Wells
666
00:41:27.760 --> 00:41:30.400
that he claimed he was related to that. Orson Wells
667
00:41:30.719 --> 00:41:34.320
put on this play about an alien landing on a farm,
668
00:41:34.679 --> 00:41:37.880
a bunch of aliens getting out shooting people, and this
669
00:41:38.079 --> 00:41:42.159
caused people to really ask what's going on. They didn't
670
00:41:42.199 --> 00:41:45.599
seem to realize this was just a radio production. They
671
00:41:45.639 --> 00:41:49.719
made it sound so very realistic. The HG. Wells book
672
00:41:49.719 --> 00:41:53.000
from the eighteen nineties was set in London and Orson
673
00:41:53.559 --> 00:41:58.480
transferred it to Grover's Mill, New Jersey. But I'm thinking
674
00:41:58.559 --> 00:42:00.880
that had to have been a factor that very night,
675
00:42:02.280 --> 00:42:05.440
that like, well, we don't want to repeat of that again,
676
00:42:05.599 --> 00:42:08.840
you know, so let's keep the lid on this story
677
00:42:08.880 --> 00:42:12.599
for reasons of national security and to avoid any kind
678
00:42:12.679 --> 00:42:15.840
of messy panic. That might royal the market, and we
679
00:42:15.840 --> 00:42:18.880
were just climbing out of the depression of nineteen forty one.
680
00:42:19.440 --> 00:42:22.480
It had been like over ten years of economic misery.
681
00:42:22.800 --> 00:42:26.559
It's like the worst period of American history, frankly, very bleak,
682
00:42:26.760 --> 00:42:30.800
very dismal, and no one wanted to go back to that. Right.
683
00:42:31.199 --> 00:42:33.880
Well, now, was there any indication as to what it
684
00:42:34.119 --> 00:42:37.599
was that was seen in thirty nine, two years before
685
00:42:37.679 --> 00:42:40.239
the forty one incident? I mean, I feel like it's
686
00:42:40.280 --> 00:42:43.159
a weird claim to say, you know that there.
687
00:42:43.119 --> 00:42:47.599
Was some danger, a danger was perceived in nineteen thirty nine. Well,
688
00:42:47.719 --> 00:42:53.639
what was that? Exactly right, I'm wondering. Here we go
689
00:42:54.159 --> 00:42:59.519
into the Magenta story and supposedly the Germans Nazis had
690
00:42:59.559 --> 00:43:02.639
gotten hold of a spaceship crash on their soil in
691
00:43:02.719 --> 00:43:07.360
thirty six, and the Italians in nineteen thirty three, and
692
00:43:07.400 --> 00:43:12.199
that a source from the Vatican told President Roosevelt through
693
00:43:12.239 --> 00:43:16.599
an intermediary that they have these crashed spaceships that they've
694
00:43:16.760 --> 00:43:20.840
cracked down on about and even jailed reporters who tried
695
00:43:20.840 --> 00:43:23.639
to report it. And if that's true, that might have
696
00:43:23.679 --> 00:43:26.880
been told to FDR in thirty nine, and they felt
697
00:43:26.920 --> 00:43:28.920
there was a danger, and this is one of the
698
00:43:28.920 --> 00:43:32.719
reasons why he cracked down on the Cape Drave story.
699
00:43:32.880 --> 00:43:35.639
Maybe from the very beginning. No one has to write
700
00:43:35.639 --> 00:43:38.320
about this or talk about it. We've got our own
701
00:43:38.400 --> 00:43:43.440
possible secret weapon. It's something we can weaponize. And it
702
00:43:43.639 --> 00:43:48.159
makes sense that if FDR had one of these, he
703
00:43:48.199 --> 00:43:51.800
didn't want the Nazis and the Italians to know, because
704
00:43:51.920 --> 00:43:54.679
FDR was sure we're going to be at war with
705
00:43:54.800 --> 00:43:58.679
Nazi Germany, and eventually we were. But it was the
706
00:43:58.880 --> 00:44:00.800
Japan that, of course tacked America.
707
00:44:01.719 --> 00:44:11.360
Right well, now, something that has been speculated for quite
708
00:44:11.360 --> 00:44:13.840
a while, Eric and I have kind of speculated this
709
00:44:14.119 --> 00:44:17.800
just talking back and forth and stuff, is that you
710
00:44:17.840 --> 00:44:23.719
know that over the past several years, especially after Roswell,
711
00:44:24.119 --> 00:44:28.800
technology has jumped drastically, and I would say even in
712
00:44:28.880 --> 00:44:32.760
the past twenty years with cell phones and stuff like that.
713
00:44:34.800 --> 00:44:39.599
Is there any indication that you've seen that we are
714
00:44:39.840 --> 00:44:43.320
reverse engineering technology that we've found from these ships?
715
00:44:44.400 --> 00:44:47.199
I would wager we are from the little bits and
716
00:44:47.239 --> 00:44:50.559
pieces that I read. And then we get into Bob
717
00:44:50.639 --> 00:44:53.599
Lazar who said he worked on one ship and there
718
00:44:53.599 --> 00:44:57.159
were like eight others in various states of damage or
719
00:44:57.559 --> 00:45:02.000
being intact. And that you know, we have this recovered
720
00:45:02.119 --> 00:45:06.639
arsenal that our scientists are looking into. And David Grush,
721
00:45:07.079 --> 00:45:11.079
the intelligence operative who's now speaking out, said all of
722
00:45:11.119 --> 00:45:14.519
these stories from what he hears, are true. We have
723
00:45:14.679 --> 00:45:18.199
bodies or biologics as he called them. And he said
724
00:45:18.199 --> 00:45:22.599
the Magenta Italian story from nineteen thirty three is true,
725
00:45:22.920 --> 00:45:26.519
and he said, quote, we scooped it when American forces
726
00:45:26.559 --> 00:45:29.119
went into Italy in nineteen forty four and forty five.
727
00:45:29.159 --> 00:45:31.800
We stole it away from Mussolini and the Italians and
728
00:45:32.119 --> 00:45:35.639
shipped it home. They're crashed spaceship. And that would add
729
00:45:35.679 --> 00:45:39.559
to what FDR referred to as these celestial wonders that
730
00:45:39.639 --> 00:45:44.239
have come to us. So it's exciting to contemplate. But
731
00:45:44.320 --> 00:45:46.679
I'm sure at first it was way over our heads,
732
00:45:47.119 --> 00:45:51.159
and I think we're probably making some progress. Philip Corso
733
00:45:51.239 --> 00:45:54.639
wrote the day after Roswell and said that we seeded
734
00:45:55.000 --> 00:45:59.920
various corporations with their research labs technology that we got
735
00:46:00.079 --> 00:46:04.639
from this Roswell craft, which he said was being manned,
736
00:46:05.280 --> 00:46:09.400
if you can use that term, by bio robots, and
737
00:46:09.440 --> 00:46:11.800
that may have been what Cape Gjerarda was all about.
738
00:46:11.840 --> 00:46:16.599
They're biological robots that were seemingly somewhat fleshy, with brains
739
00:46:16.679 --> 00:46:20.519
and lungs for breathing and eyes for viewing, and they
740
00:46:20.559 --> 00:46:26.039
would follow the preconditioned programs that a higher race had
741
00:46:26.079 --> 00:46:30.079
sent them out to undertake. You know, there was war
742
00:46:30.159 --> 00:46:32.519
going on the Pacific and in Europe, and Earth was
743
00:46:32.559 --> 00:46:36.920
a very dangerous place, so you might send out some lackeys,
744
00:46:36.960 --> 00:46:42.800
some replaceable stooges, these aliens that crashed, and you would
745
00:46:42.880 --> 00:46:45.599
just say, well, there's plenty more in the lab and
746
00:46:46.199 --> 00:46:50.199
the factory that we can replace both. And the humans
747
00:46:50.679 --> 00:46:54.559
seized upon the crash remained so quickly that aliens couldn't
748
00:46:54.639 --> 00:46:58.079
possibly come back and get it without turning it into
749
00:46:58.159 --> 00:47:02.159
a huge event, so we were allowed to keep it
750
00:47:02.280 --> 00:47:09.039
and examine it. Whether or not other crash stories are real,
751
00:47:10.239 --> 00:47:12.119
I feel like a few of them at least are,
752
00:47:12.199 --> 00:47:16.559
including Roswell. The Aztech New Mexico crash of forty eight
753
00:47:16.639 --> 00:47:20.239
is very interesting and very possibly real. But you don't
754
00:47:20.280 --> 00:47:23.880
hear about too many lately, and so you have to
755
00:47:23.960 --> 00:47:28.079
wonder if aliens are changing up their technology, or they're
756
00:47:28.119 --> 00:47:32.159
doing less exploring, or we have to get into their
757
00:47:32.199 --> 00:47:35.239
minds and think what they might be thinking of planet Earth.
758
00:47:35.639 --> 00:47:40.159
Are we anymore or less dangerous now or less fascinating?
759
00:47:40.840 --> 00:47:43.119
We were on the verge of the atomic age in
760
00:47:43.199 --> 00:47:46.559
forty one. I don't know what could have caused the crash,
761
00:47:46.599 --> 00:47:49.880
but I get asked a lot, well, how come aliens
762
00:47:49.920 --> 00:47:53.239
are so smart with these big brains and yet they
763
00:47:53.320 --> 00:47:56.440
crashed like dummies on a farm field in Missouri. And
764
00:47:56.519 --> 00:47:59.079
all I can say is they're not perfect. They're from
765
00:47:59.079 --> 00:48:03.000
another world, and they're not familiar with our electromagnetic forces,
766
00:48:03.000 --> 00:48:07.199
our gravitational field, our weather, and how to deal with
767
00:48:07.280 --> 00:48:10.440
human beings that are shooting at you, maybe missiles or something.
768
00:48:10.559 --> 00:48:12.760
So there's all kinds of factors they would not have
769
00:48:12.800 --> 00:48:15.760
been familiar with, and if they had a mechanical error
770
00:48:15.840 --> 00:48:19.079
or pilot error, they sure could have crashed. We have
771
00:48:19.599 --> 00:48:22.880
well trained American pilots that crash in their airplanes then
772
00:48:23.079 --> 00:48:26.280
and even now, and they're familiar with our gravity and
773
00:48:26.320 --> 00:48:30.840
our weather patterns, and you know, all our computerization. So
774
00:48:31.400 --> 00:48:32.280
no one's perfect.
775
00:48:33.000 --> 00:48:36.280
Really, I would say that too, like we have people
776
00:48:36.360 --> 00:48:39.559
that are trained to fly in our officer and they
777
00:48:39.679 --> 00:48:42.880
can't even do it sometimes just because of mechanical failure.
778
00:48:42.960 --> 00:48:46.239
So yeah, yeah, well I find what I found interesting too,
779
00:48:46.400 --> 00:48:51.280
is this is going to more speculative environment here. You know,
780
00:48:51.320 --> 00:48:57.079
there's this conversation over the decades about ancient technology. We're
781
00:48:57.079 --> 00:49:01.400
talking about pre Egypt even, and the hieroglyphs that show
782
00:49:02.239 --> 00:49:09.639
what we would call extraterrestrial pictures or UFOs within those pictures,
783
00:49:10.079 --> 00:49:13.000
and now there's this discourse or that these people who
784
00:49:13.039 --> 00:49:17.639
claim that these aliens are actually human beings that pre existed.
785
00:49:17.840 --> 00:49:23.559
Modern technology was destroyed and now we're rebuilding. And so
786
00:49:23.639 --> 00:49:26.840
when we're thinking about, like when you said these robots
787
00:49:27.519 --> 00:49:30.400
that seem to have a fleshy outside and whatnot, we're
788
00:49:30.400 --> 00:49:33.559
looking at artificial intelligence starting to pick up and these
789
00:49:33.679 --> 00:49:36.400
robotic entities that they're starting to build and they're becoming
790
00:49:36.440 --> 00:49:40.519
more realistic. Do you think there's a possibility that the
791
00:49:40.599 --> 00:49:45.199
technology we once had was destroyed in some weird world
792
00:49:45.239 --> 00:49:49.440
event or something, and now we're just recreating the things
793
00:49:49.480 --> 00:49:52.800
that we're once already here because of past humans that
794
00:49:52.840 --> 00:49:55.920
are now considered extraterrestrial and living in outer space.
795
00:49:57.719 --> 00:50:01.679
It's a mind blowing thought and a certain possible most
796
00:50:01.679 --> 00:50:06.760
any explanation could be. We could speculate. Another possibility is
797
00:50:06.800 --> 00:50:10.000
they come from another dimension and we're just now our
798
00:50:10.079 --> 00:50:12.599
scientists are learning that we may be in a multi
799
00:50:12.639 --> 00:50:16.760
dimensional world. Then there's the physical world, the vastness of
800
00:50:16.800 --> 00:50:20.639
the cosmos. If you ever study the stars and the galaxies,
801
00:50:20.639 --> 00:50:25.639
and it's mind numbingly huge. There's almost no chance we're alone.
802
00:50:26.239 --> 00:50:29.159
And even if you have a thousand other races, some
803
00:50:29.239 --> 00:50:31.559
of them could be advanced enough to travel here and
804
00:50:31.679 --> 00:50:35.519
look around. So it really opens your mind when you
805
00:50:35.559 --> 00:50:39.079
start studying this sort of thing, extraterrestrials and all the
806
00:50:39.119 --> 00:50:42.159
possibilities and what's coming in the future. I don't know.
807
00:50:42.480 --> 00:50:45.480
I hear things about next year twenty twenty seven, some
808
00:50:45.519 --> 00:50:49.559
sort of big event, more revelations coming, and I certainly
809
00:50:49.559 --> 00:50:51.960
hope to live to see it, but I've been disappointed
810
00:50:52.039 --> 00:51:00.280
so many times the government closure files they're really seeing
811
00:51:00.360 --> 00:51:03.199
right now or big nothing burger if you ask me.
812
00:51:03.639 --> 00:51:06.239
But they may be starting slowly and building our way
813
00:51:06.320 --> 00:51:07.800
up the next year, so we'll.
814
00:51:07.639 --> 00:51:12.920
See, yeah, yeah, And you know that's the biggest thing
815
00:51:13.199 --> 00:51:17.280
is it could be a combination of all of those
816
00:51:17.320 --> 00:51:22.840
things too. Like like you mentioned, I'm hoping in our
817
00:51:22.880 --> 00:51:26.599
lifetimes we get to see it, because you know, I
818
00:51:26.639 --> 00:51:29.960
grew up on Star Trek, Star Wars, a bunch of
819
00:51:30.000 --> 00:51:34.760
science fiction and from a from a very young age.
820
00:51:34.800 --> 00:51:37.199
I'm like, I think all of us look up at
821
00:51:37.199 --> 00:51:41.800
the stars and realize there's something more out there than
822
00:51:42.000 --> 00:51:48.320
just us humans. So it it's gonna be interesting. Yeah,
823
00:51:48.360 --> 00:51:52.000
I've seen the same theories that twenty twenty seven there's
824
00:51:52.039 --> 00:51:55.800
something big coming. I've even been told by a very
825
00:51:55.800 --> 00:51:59.639
close friend who's a medium say the same thing.
826
00:52:00.960 --> 00:52:03.920
We had a medium on.
827
00:52:05.400 --> 00:52:07.119
The show that also said the same thing.
828
00:52:08.159 --> 00:52:11.360
So yeah, but what what exactly?
829
00:52:12.840 --> 00:52:16.440
It's interesting thing, right, it is that even psychics today
830
00:52:16.599 --> 00:52:19.519
who who claimed to something big happening can't pinpoint what
831
00:52:19.679 --> 00:52:22.079
it is. And so the question is is this just
832
00:52:22.519 --> 00:52:25.840
you know, is it just your your is it a theory?
833
00:52:26.000 --> 00:52:27.760
Is it just something that you're feeling inside?
834
00:52:27.800 --> 00:52:27.960
You know?
835
00:52:28.039 --> 00:52:30.320
What exactly is it? No one can pinpoint it. It could
836
00:52:30.320 --> 00:52:33.000
be anything. It could be something related to uh the
837
00:52:33.039 --> 00:52:36.480
extra trestricals. It could be something related to humanity, related
838
00:52:36.519 --> 00:52:40.159
to the earth itself. How many people happened, They know
839
00:52:40.199 --> 00:52:42.679
that COVID was gonna happen. When it did, you know,
840
00:52:42.719 --> 00:52:45.840
It's like there's these big events, life altering events. Uh,
841
00:52:45.880 --> 00:52:48.639
I mean they come around, They've been around for the
842
00:52:49.119 --> 00:52:51.760
you know the entire existence of the human race. We've
843
00:52:51.800 --> 00:52:54.599
seen these same repetitions and so yes, I think in
844
00:52:54.719 --> 00:52:57.920
some point something big is going to happen. But what
845
00:52:58.000 --> 00:53:00.960
it is that's the big question, and we won't know
846
00:53:01.079 --> 00:53:02.800
until it actually happens.
847
00:53:03.199 --> 00:53:07.239
Right, It's like a mystery novel. You gotta keep reading too, really.
848
00:53:09.119 --> 00:53:14.239
But we're makes you wonder if extrarestuels are just watching
849
00:53:14.280 --> 00:53:17.159
your TV to be like, Okay, we got to step in.
850
00:53:18.519 --> 00:53:23.239
It's gotten ridiculous enough. We are getting close to the end.
851
00:53:23.760 --> 00:53:25.559
The one question I wanted to ask you before we
852
00:53:25.679 --> 00:53:29.159
let you go is what what is your hope that
853
00:53:29.239 --> 00:53:31.639
people take away from from this book.
854
00:53:33.039 --> 00:53:36.559
Well, I hope you'll find it enlightening and yes, entertaining,
855
00:53:36.719 --> 00:53:41.360
but the open minds for people around the world hopefully
856
00:53:41.960 --> 00:53:45.480
to understand that we're not alone. And it's part of
857
00:53:45.559 --> 00:53:48.960
like the Disclosure product program, you know, we have to
858
00:53:48.960 --> 00:53:51.679
start thinking along the lines of not only are we
859
00:53:51.800 --> 00:53:54.599
being visited by this gray race, but there may be
860
00:53:54.679 --> 00:53:58.760
several others, and they may be coming from another galaxy
861
00:53:59.320 --> 00:54:02.920
or from another dimension, and they're able to use like
862
00:54:03.199 --> 00:54:07.519
a wormhole or a portal or a dimensional rift, and
863
00:54:07.559 --> 00:54:09.800
there's just all kinds of ways they could come and go,
864
00:54:09.920 --> 00:54:12.920
and all kinds of forms they can take. A good
865
00:54:12.960 --> 00:54:14.559
man to head on if you can get him is
866
00:54:14.639 --> 00:54:17.800
Preston Demmitt. He's got all kinds of stories that he's
867
00:54:17.800 --> 00:54:22.079
collected and includes many eyewitnesses who have seen the bodies
868
00:54:22.119 --> 00:54:27.360
and the crash in American hands in airfields, especially right Patterson,
869
00:54:27.960 --> 00:54:31.840
and so all these stories I've heard and read so many.
870
00:54:31.880 --> 00:54:36.599
Now it's pretty obvious we're being visited and by a
871
00:54:36.679 --> 00:54:40.800
wide variety of different creatures with different abilities. I can
872
00:54:40.840 --> 00:54:43.880
go out my hallway right behind me in my apartment
873
00:54:43.920 --> 00:54:48.159
building and meet people who are friendly, some hostile, some
874
00:54:48.199 --> 00:54:50.920
secretive and don't say anything. And I think it could
875
00:54:50.920 --> 00:54:53.159
be the same way with aliens coming here. There's a
876
00:54:53.239 --> 00:54:56.960
wide variety of personalities and agendas, and we just have
877
00:54:57.079 --> 00:54:59.800
to go about our business, you know, not panic and
878
00:55:00.239 --> 00:55:02.920
give up on your job or your education or your religion,
879
00:55:03.320 --> 00:55:08.119
and just open your minds hopefully, hopefully with the help
880
00:55:08.159 --> 00:55:11.480
of my book, which you can get at any online
881
00:55:11.519 --> 00:55:14.320
book retailer. Awesome.
882
00:55:15.800 --> 00:55:19.760
All right, Well, last question that we ask everybody where
883
00:55:19.760 --> 00:55:21.719
can everybody find you and find your book?
884
00:55:23.079 --> 00:55:26.159
You can go to my publishers at Llewellyn dot com,
885
00:55:26.280 --> 00:55:29.800
or you can go to Barnesandoble dot com, Amazon dot com,
886
00:55:29.960 --> 00:55:32.480
most any bookstore if you walk in and ask about
887
00:55:32.519 --> 00:55:34.119
it to look it up and order it for you,
888
00:55:34.559 --> 00:55:36.679
or you can look it up online and go to
889
00:55:37.000 --> 00:55:40.800
these sites on your own. And I try to cram
890
00:55:40.840 --> 00:55:44.400
in as much fact and information as I can, and
891
00:55:44.599 --> 00:55:48.119
citations and references and where I got my data, and
892
00:55:48.679 --> 00:55:52.079
keep speculation to a minimum, but make it reasonable. And
893
00:55:52.159 --> 00:55:54.920
I hope people will appreciate that it's full of facts
894
00:55:55.440 --> 00:55:58.519
and not just a bunch of flimsy theories thrown together.
895
00:56:00.280 --> 00:56:02.880
We hope that as well. So Paul, thank you for
896
00:56:02.920 --> 00:56:04.519
being on Paratruth you're born.
897
00:56:05.480 --> 00:56:08.239
Oh, thank you for having me, gentlemen. It was a pleasure.
898
00:56:09.559 --> 00:56:14.480
Likewise, all right, folks, I hope you've enjoyed this conversation.
899
00:56:15.119 --> 00:56:18.480
Definitely check out the book The UFO Bombshell Before Roswell.
900
00:56:20.679 --> 00:56:24.559
We have so many different stories from things that happened
901
00:56:24.599 --> 00:56:28.480
before Roswell that just did not come to fruition in
902
00:56:28.519 --> 00:56:34.159
the news, so I can considered really doing the research
903
00:56:34.280 --> 00:56:41.440
and finding other crashes, other stories, stuff like that. Something
904
00:56:41.480 --> 00:56:47.159
we ask our Paratruthers community on Facebook do you think
905
00:56:47.400 --> 00:56:53.960
the UFO cover up started before Roswell? Sixty six percent
906
00:56:54.079 --> 00:56:59.559
said yes, Roswell wasn't the beginning, Seventeen percent said maybe,
907
00:56:59.639 --> 00:57:04.800
but I need stronger evidence, one percent said no, Roswell
908
00:57:05.000 --> 00:57:09.360
is still the key case, and sixteen percents I've never
909
00:57:09.440 --> 00:57:15.159
heard of Cape Girardo before after listening to this episode.
910
00:57:15.639 --> 00:57:19.159
I would absolutely love to hear if your opinion has
911
00:57:19.280 --> 00:57:24.599
changed after listening to this, So shoot us a comment
912
00:57:24.719 --> 00:57:27.400
and let us know, or you can email us Paratruth
913
00:57:27.480 --> 00:57:31.000
Radio at genmail dot com, or even better, get into
914
00:57:31.079 --> 00:57:34.679
the Paras Ruther's Facebook group until next week folks, where
915
00:57:34.679 --> 00:57:37.519
you'll find us the same time, same channel.
916
00:57:37.599 --> 00:57:40.519
My name is Justin and I'm Eric Peace
1
00:00:01.280 --> 00:00:04.759
Coming up on Paratruth Reborn, we'll be talking to Paul
2
00:00:04.839 --> 00:00:10.679
Blake Smith about his book The UFO Bombshell Before Roswell.
3
00:00:14.599 --> 00:00:18.280
Welcome, Well, do para Truth.
4
00:00:43.679 --> 00:00:49.280
How's it going Paratruthers, Welcome to another episode of Paratruth Reborn.
5
00:00:49.560 --> 00:00:53.799
My name is Justin and I'm Eric, and tonight I'm Paratruth.
6
00:00:54.039 --> 00:00:58.840
We are going back before Roswell. Yes, Roswell is not
7
00:00:59.119 --> 00:01:03.399
the only crashed UFO case. In nineteen forty one, there
8
00:01:03.439 --> 00:01:08.840
was a presumed airplane crash near Cape girardu, Missouri, allegedly
9
00:01:09.079 --> 00:01:14.760
turned into something much stranger, a UFO crash, alien bodies,
10
00:01:14.799 --> 00:01:19.200
government secrecy, the whole nine yards. You know, if you
11
00:01:19.200 --> 00:01:22.439
know Roswell, this case is going to sound very similar
12
00:01:22.560 --> 00:01:26.280
in those regards. But we are bringing on Paul Blake
13
00:01:26.319 --> 00:01:31.280
Smith to talk about this. Paul, Welcome to Paratrude three born.
14
00:01:32.159 --> 00:01:34.120
Well, thanks for having me on. It's a pleasure.
15
00:01:35.599 --> 00:01:39.920
Now before we dig deep into the book, for our listeners,
16
00:01:41.359 --> 00:01:43.159
tell us a little bit who you are, how you
17
00:01:43.200 --> 00:01:48.480
got interested in UFO cases and specifically this case.
18
00:01:49.719 --> 00:01:52.560
Well, I was born and raised in Cape Girardo, Missouri.
19
00:01:52.959 --> 00:01:55.680
It's a city of about thirty five to four thousand
20
00:01:56.799 --> 00:02:00.560
students and residents. We have a large university there. That's
21
00:02:00.599 --> 00:02:03.439
where I went to college. I was in the mass
22
00:02:03.480 --> 00:02:07.400
communications department, did a little radio work, and one of
23
00:02:07.439 --> 00:02:10.199
the fellow students was a burly fellow was on a
24
00:02:10.240 --> 00:02:13.439
football team. Name said from Saint Louis. You know him
25
00:02:13.479 --> 00:02:17.919
as Cedric the entertainer. Well, anyway, name dropping there. Yeah,
26
00:02:18.199 --> 00:02:20.879
I remember him quite well. He probably doesn't remember me.
27
00:02:21.560 --> 00:02:25.240
But over the years, I was interested in UFO stories
28
00:02:25.280 --> 00:02:29.520
only somewhat modly. I wasn't a big enthusiast. But I
29
00:02:29.599 --> 00:02:33.639
began to hear about the Cape Druro UFO crash outside
30
00:02:33.680 --> 00:02:37.080
of my own hometown. I thought, Wow, what's this. Where
31
00:02:37.120 --> 00:02:39.240
can I get a book about this? I'd love to
32
00:02:39.280 --> 00:02:43.240
read about this at length? And I waited more than
33
00:02:43.280 --> 00:02:45.400
a decade, and I got fed up, and I thought, well,
34
00:02:45.680 --> 00:02:49.120
I fancy myself a writer. Why do I piece together
35
00:02:49.240 --> 00:02:51.759
the story? And I did the best I could. My
36
00:02:51.800 --> 00:02:53.800
book had some flaws in it, but it came out
37
00:02:53.840 --> 00:02:58.400
in twenty sixteen, and I made one big mistake. I
38
00:02:58.479 --> 00:03:02.080
thought for sure the craft happened on April twelfth of
39
00:03:02.199 --> 00:03:05.800
nineteen forty one. I realized after the book came out
40
00:03:05.840 --> 00:03:08.520
that is not accurate, and if I had to pin
41
00:03:08.639 --> 00:03:11.240
it down, I would say it was twelve days later.
42
00:03:11.560 --> 00:03:15.639
And it fits the pattern and the clues that I
43
00:03:15.759 --> 00:03:19.400
lay out of my book. And one of those stories
44
00:03:19.879 --> 00:03:24.560
was a Cape Jarl newspaper article from the next day, Friday,
45
00:03:24.599 --> 00:03:27.919
April twenty fifth, in which it said a huge bomber
46
00:03:28.039 --> 00:03:32.960
airplane was circling over and over Cape Girardo between I
47
00:03:33.000 --> 00:03:36.000
think eight and nine o'clock in the morning, and people
48
00:03:36.039 --> 00:03:39.800
were getting really nervous and frightened. What's going on. A
49
00:03:39.840 --> 00:03:44.319
bomber is extremely expensive and pricey to run, and you
50
00:03:44.400 --> 00:03:48.199
didn't just take it out on a joy ride. So
51
00:03:48.240 --> 00:03:50.120
an article it feared about a week later in the
52
00:03:50.159 --> 00:03:53.080
paper and they said, well, we were sending it out
53
00:03:53.080 --> 00:03:56.680
from right Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. It was
54
00:03:56.719 --> 00:03:59.240
the Air Corps in those days, and we sent it
55
00:03:59.280 --> 00:04:01.919
out on a test flight and they just happened to
56
00:04:01.960 --> 00:04:04.520
go to Cape Girardo, Missouri. It's as if they were
57
00:04:04.599 --> 00:04:09.000
spircling around looking for something. And we'll get into what
58
00:04:09.159 --> 00:04:12.400
that could be. But there was a very fonn book
59
00:04:12.439 --> 00:04:15.280
by a woman named Linda L. Wallace who said around
60
00:04:15.319 --> 00:04:18.360
this time, she can't pin down the exact date. Two
61
00:04:18.399 --> 00:04:21.600
relatives told her there was an enormous plane that landed
62
00:04:21.639 --> 00:04:25.920
at the Sikeston, Missouri airfield and out came these armed,
63
00:04:26.639 --> 00:04:30.399
presumably armed guards who guarded the plane like it was
64
00:04:30.439 --> 00:04:34.199
there to pick up something. And so the two stories
65
00:04:34.279 --> 00:04:36.680
kind of hang together. And when we go to Roswell,
66
00:04:37.000 --> 00:04:39.720
part of that story is that a huge bomber plane
67
00:04:39.879 --> 00:04:44.600
in July nineteen forty seven was used to, according to
68
00:04:44.639 --> 00:04:48.120
eye witnesses, to pick up the crash remains of at
69
00:04:48.240 --> 00:04:52.480
least one disc possibly two, and dead alien bodies and
70
00:04:52.560 --> 00:04:55.959
fly them to write Patterson Air Force Base. So it
71
00:04:56.000 --> 00:04:59.240
makes you think that they possibly were following a template
72
00:04:59.639 --> 00:05:02.720
that was laid down in the Cape turn't crash. And
73
00:05:02.800 --> 00:05:06.439
it's like the most amazing bombshell story ever that you
74
00:05:06.560 --> 00:05:09.279
may never have heard of. And it's just so frustrating
75
00:05:09.399 --> 00:05:12.720
because it's the terrific story and yet Roswell gets all
76
00:05:12.800 --> 00:05:13.519
the headlines.
77
00:05:14.399 --> 00:05:17.560
Absolutely it does, and I we're going to get into
78
00:05:17.639 --> 00:05:20.439
all that. But I've been thinking about this all day,
79
00:05:20.560 --> 00:05:24.879
like if this case happened well before Roswell, like why
80
00:05:25.000 --> 00:05:28.639
was it not as much covered? But yeah, it's one
81
00:05:28.680 --> 00:05:31.199
of those things where I think that there's been so
82
00:05:31.279 --> 00:05:32.319
many cases that.
83
00:05:36.120 --> 00:05:41.720
No, something happened there. Yeah, we lost justin Yeah that
84
00:05:41.800 --> 00:05:47.879
was weird. It's a weird sound. But I can you
85
00:05:47.920 --> 00:05:51.160
hear me now, yeah, we hear you. It is weird
86
00:05:51.160 --> 00:05:53.360
that it, you know, it was a case that or
87
00:05:53.439 --> 00:05:56.639
something that just kind of slipped away. Roswell took presidents.
88
00:05:56.720 --> 00:05:59.120
But I do also wonder if there were less people
89
00:05:59.120 --> 00:06:04.120
who maybe had noted the forty one crash, whereas we
90
00:06:04.240 --> 00:06:08.759
have people like Jesse Marcel Junior who presented all of
91
00:06:08.800 --> 00:06:10.839
the evidence that he found on the farm when he
92
00:06:10.879 --> 00:06:15.040
showed up to forty seven Roswell incident and immediately got
93
00:06:15.040 --> 00:06:17.480
that information out to people before the government was able
94
00:06:17.519 --> 00:06:20.759
to retrack that info. Tell you tell people as a
95
00:06:20.800 --> 00:06:22.079
weather bloo and so on and so for you know,
96
00:06:22.120 --> 00:06:24.920
there's actually an eyewitness who came forward right away, which
97
00:06:24.959 --> 00:06:28.759
maybe we didn't have in forty one quite the same way. Now,
98
00:06:28.839 --> 00:06:31.879
was this something that was talked about openly in the
99
00:06:31.920 --> 00:06:33.319
area that you grew up in or was it more
100
00:06:33.319 --> 00:06:35.319
of like a whispered local legend.
101
00:06:36.079 --> 00:06:38.399
For some people? They did talk about it, And I
102
00:06:38.480 --> 00:06:41.839
spoke to a woman who was elderly at the time
103
00:06:41.920 --> 00:06:44.639
I talked to her, and she's now deceased. She says,
104
00:06:44.720 --> 00:06:47.360
I was eleven years old at the time of this incident,
105
00:06:47.399 --> 00:06:50.399
and I remember it quite clearly. She didn't claim to
106
00:06:50.439 --> 00:06:54.759
have seen the alienship or the bodies. She said, the
107
00:06:54.800 --> 00:06:58.399
adult stood around talking in my farm community just outside
108
00:06:58.439 --> 00:07:02.839
Cape Girardo about these little space men and how they
109
00:07:02.920 --> 00:07:06.040
crashed in their little spaceship. And she wanted me to know.
110
00:07:06.279 --> 00:07:09.519
We didn't have terms like flying saucer or UFO. We
111
00:07:09.720 --> 00:07:13.399
just call them little spacemen. And so that just gives
112
00:07:13.399 --> 00:07:16.839
you another little piece of corroboration that this really did happen.
113
00:07:17.519 --> 00:07:21.839
I read a couple of different accounts online of citizens
114
00:07:21.839 --> 00:07:24.160
that said, Oh, my grandparents used to talk about this
115
00:07:24.279 --> 00:07:27.720
spaceship crash. If only I had listened more intently or
116
00:07:27.759 --> 00:07:30.519
written some things down, they knew about it, and now
117
00:07:30.560 --> 00:07:33.399
they're passed away. And that's a huge problem for me
118
00:07:33.720 --> 00:07:38.680
today is that almost everyone, well certainly everyone from nineteen
119
00:07:38.720 --> 00:07:42.240
forty one is deceased lest you were like two years
120
00:07:42.240 --> 00:07:45.800
old at the time, and in many cases their children
121
00:07:45.839 --> 00:07:50.800
are deceased eighty five years ago. So you have to
122
00:07:50.839 --> 00:07:53.319
piece the clues together as best you can and I
123
00:07:53.360 --> 00:07:56.839
did that, I think in my book. But I often
124
00:07:56.839 --> 00:07:59.360
get asked, well, how did this just get covered up
125
00:07:59.360 --> 00:08:02.040
by the millit terry so quickly? And it's a simple
126
00:08:02.120 --> 00:08:06.079
answer for that. The sheriff of Cape Girardo County was
127
00:08:06.120 --> 00:08:08.519
said to be at the crash site by an eye witness,
128
00:08:09.160 --> 00:08:12.600
and the sheriff just happened to live in Sikeston, Missouri,
129
00:08:12.680 --> 00:08:16.639
where his brother was an executive in the aerial training program.
130
00:08:16.920 --> 00:08:20.399
The Air Corps was training pilots at the Sikeston Airfield
131
00:08:20.480 --> 00:08:26.319
and they had like citizens soldiers pilots really, and so
132
00:08:26.639 --> 00:08:29.360
all it took was one phone call that evening and said,
133
00:08:29.399 --> 00:08:31.120
you know, like you better get up here. You're not
134
00:08:31.160 --> 00:08:33.799
going to believe your eyes and bring a unit with you.
135
00:08:34.639 --> 00:08:37.120
I'll bet you want to get this scooped up and
136
00:08:37.200 --> 00:08:41.080
take a look at it. So the main eye witness
137
00:08:41.200 --> 00:08:44.360
is a Reverend William G. Huffman, who said, we were
138
00:08:44.399 --> 00:08:47.399
told originally it was an airplane crash. So we got
139
00:08:47.399 --> 00:08:52.360
into a car that was driven by this Cape Chardo
140
00:08:52.440 --> 00:08:56.679
resident who was affiliated with the Cape Giardo Police Department,
141
00:08:57.399 --> 00:09:01.200
and they were driven her out to this farm field
142
00:09:01.679 --> 00:09:04.039
where they saw a blaze going on and the fire
143
00:09:04.080 --> 00:09:07.840
department fighting this fire, and when they got out there,
144
00:09:08.000 --> 00:09:09.879
they walked about a quarter of a mile into this
145
00:09:10.000 --> 00:09:12.879
farm field and could not see any airplane at all.
146
00:09:13.519 --> 00:09:17.799
There was a circular silvery gray disc that had crashed
147
00:09:17.840 --> 00:09:21.879
and was cracked open, and there was metallic debris and
148
00:09:21.919 --> 00:09:25.799
shrapnel around in this field. And there were people poking
149
00:09:25.840 --> 00:09:29.240
through all of this, including the farm department, the police department,
150
00:09:29.320 --> 00:09:34.240
the sheriff, a newsman taking big flash photos with his
151
00:09:35.600 --> 00:09:38.200
news camera of the day with a big flash off
152
00:09:38.200 --> 00:09:41.919
from time to time. I'm sure there were men with flashlights,
153
00:09:42.000 --> 00:09:48.200
local farmers, maybe lanterns, and the sheriff again was there,
154
00:09:48.720 --> 00:09:53.240
and it could have been some doctors and nurses. Supposedly
155
00:09:53.320 --> 00:09:57.480
some nurses were notified and saw the alien bodies that
156
00:09:57.519 --> 00:09:59.720
were on the ground and their faces went white with
157
00:10:00.240 --> 00:10:02.720
they couldn't believe what they were seeing, and it had
158
00:10:02.759 --> 00:10:06.039
to have been a traumatic shock. On the ground, according
159
00:10:06.039 --> 00:10:12.639
to Reverend Huffman wore three small, gray, identical little creatures
160
00:10:12.720 --> 00:10:15.000
or beings, humanoids if you want to call them that,
161
00:10:15.440 --> 00:10:20.919
with big bulbous heads, big black glassy eyes, two little
162
00:10:21.840 --> 00:10:25.039
dots for nostrils, and a tiny little slit for a mouth,
163
00:10:25.159 --> 00:10:31.879
just barely perceptible and no visible ears, gray skin, no hair,
164
00:10:32.399 --> 00:10:36.600
no tattoos, and no jewelry. They may have had a
165
00:10:36.639 --> 00:10:40.840
flight suit, he said. It was all wrinkly skin like,
166
00:10:40.919 --> 00:10:44.759
wrinkly crinkly. Whether it was their skin or a flight suit,
167
00:10:44.879 --> 00:10:48.840
or the two had meshed together and reacted badly to
168
00:10:48.960 --> 00:10:52.039
our oxygen rich atmosphere, he didn't know. But he didn't
169
00:10:52.080 --> 00:10:54.879
see any injuries to the three creatures. Two of them
170
00:10:54.879 --> 00:10:59.399
were inert, obviously dead, and the third was barely breathing.
171
00:10:59.440 --> 00:11:02.720
When Rever Huffman, who was called in to say prayers
172
00:11:02.759 --> 00:11:06.720
and offer spiritual comfort, knelt down in the field and
173
00:11:06.879 --> 00:11:10.200
held it by the wrist and began to say a prayer.
174
00:11:11.440 --> 00:11:14.159
And when he was doing that, the creature just went lip.
175
00:11:14.480 --> 00:11:18.200
He died, He stopped respirating, and it was pretty obvious
176
00:11:18.960 --> 00:11:22.240
he was beyond saving. So he let go of the
177
00:11:22.279 --> 00:11:24.879
wrist and it just like flopped down like a dead doll.
178
00:11:25.919 --> 00:11:30.639
And as he was standing up, two local men picked
179
00:11:30.720 --> 00:11:33.360
up one of the dead aliens and propped him up
180
00:11:33.440 --> 00:11:37.759
under the arms and pose for a photograph. Now, the newsman,
181
00:11:37.799 --> 00:11:42.279
who normally had the big speed graphic camera, didn't use that.
182
00:11:42.799 --> 00:11:45.600
He pulled out a little Brownie box camera and snapped
183
00:11:45.600 --> 00:11:50.480
one photo. And so we'll get to how that is
184
00:11:50.559 --> 00:11:54.720
significant later. But Reverend Huffman said, he walked over to
185
00:11:54.799 --> 00:11:57.759
the disk and took a peek in there, and we
186
00:11:57.879 --> 00:12:00.480
all want to know what he saw, right, should we
187
00:12:00.519 --> 00:12:04.039
skip over that? I don't know? Well, okay, talk me
188
00:12:04.080 --> 00:12:08.679
into it. He saw like a control panel, almost like
189
00:12:08.720 --> 00:12:11.159
a flight deck of an airplane, only it was circular,
190
00:12:11.600 --> 00:12:14.720
and there were some gauges and dials, and a gyroscope
191
00:12:14.879 --> 00:12:18.320
type object in the center of the room, and one
192
00:12:18.399 --> 00:12:21.000
or two little tiny seats that you would assume like
193
00:12:21.120 --> 00:12:23.639
for human size, they would be that of a child,
194
00:12:24.279 --> 00:12:28.240
and it would fit these creatures that were on the ground.
195
00:12:29.519 --> 00:12:33.519
Reverend Huffman was apparently told some first responder reached the
196
00:12:33.559 --> 00:12:36.720
crash and pulled out the bodies and laid them flat
197
00:12:36.759 --> 00:12:40.559
on their backs, staring skyward if they were even alive,
198
00:12:41.080 --> 00:12:43.960
and that may have been the worst possible thing he
199
00:12:44.000 --> 00:12:46.159
could have done. He was trying to do the right thing.
200
00:12:46.559 --> 00:12:50.200
But the creatures obviously could not breathe our air outside
201
00:12:50.240 --> 00:12:56.600
their climate controlled spaceship, and they expired the nuts why
202
00:12:57.399 --> 00:13:00.639
and they did not have any visible injuries, but the
203
00:13:00.679 --> 00:13:04.159
ship sure did and Reverend Huffman said there was a
204
00:13:04.200 --> 00:13:07.840
strange silver band around the top of the interior, and
205
00:13:07.879 --> 00:13:11.559
it had odd pictograms or symbols in it, and he
206
00:13:11.600 --> 00:13:15.360
couldn't make out what those darn things were. And everyone's
207
00:13:15.399 --> 00:13:19.639
buzzing about the debris and the bodies and what's going on.
208
00:13:19.679 --> 00:13:24.360
It were probably almost like an impromptu city party for
209
00:13:24.440 --> 00:13:28.879
a while. And then an outside force arrived, and that
210
00:13:29.159 --> 00:13:34.720
was the pilot soldiers in uniform who encircled the site
211
00:13:34.759 --> 00:13:38.960
when they arrived and hemmed them all in and said,
212
00:13:39.000 --> 00:13:42.080
this never happened. You didn't see this. This is a
213
00:13:42.080 --> 00:13:46.000
matter of national security. You're never to speak of this again.
214
00:13:46.759 --> 00:13:49.440
And we'll have all of that debris you're holding on to,
215
00:13:49.639 --> 00:13:51.799
every bit of it, put it down or hand it over,
216
00:13:52.559 --> 00:13:55.080
and any notes you may have taken in any photos.
217
00:13:55.799 --> 00:13:58.840
So the newsman had that brownie box camera in his
218
00:13:58.919 --> 00:14:02.200
pocket and he did not turn that over happily, and
219
00:14:02.240 --> 00:14:06.240
he got away with it. And Reverend Hoffman said he
220
00:14:06.320 --> 00:14:09.120
was sworn to secrecy and eventually released, and he went
221
00:14:09.159 --> 00:14:13.960
home and he was so ashen faced and so disturbed
222
00:14:14.000 --> 00:14:17.039
by what he saw that his family gathered around late
223
00:14:17.080 --> 00:14:20.720
at night, said where have you been what's happened, and
224
00:14:20.759 --> 00:14:22.679
he said, I'm going to tell you this story once
225
00:14:22.759 --> 00:14:24.600
and then I'm never going to speak of it again.
226
00:14:25.200 --> 00:14:27.519
And happily he did kind of break his vow of
227
00:14:27.559 --> 00:14:30.440
silence when he told his family, and one of his
228
00:14:30.480 --> 00:14:35.360
family members spoke up about fifty years later in nineteen
229
00:14:35.440 --> 00:14:39.120
ninety one, and it began to be investigated by the
230
00:14:39.320 --> 00:14:45.080
like Ray Fowler, Leonard Stringfield, Ryan Wood, doctor Stanton Friedman,
231
00:14:45.159 --> 00:14:47.840
Linda molten Howe. I think almost all of them came
232
00:14:47.840 --> 00:14:50.840
to Cape Girarro and did some research to see if
233
00:14:50.879 --> 00:14:53.799
they can find some proof of this amazing story six
234
00:14:53.879 --> 00:14:57.720
years before Roswell and about eight months before our involvement
235
00:14:57.759 --> 00:14:59.799
in World War Two.
236
00:15:00.440 --> 00:15:02.720
You know, I find what if? I'd really fascinating about
237
00:15:02.720 --> 00:15:04.720
that story. I mean, all of it's very fascinating, but
238
00:15:04.799 --> 00:15:06.799
the one thing that I really find fascinating is the
239
00:15:06.799 --> 00:15:11.080
connection to the incident in forty seven because in his
240
00:15:11.120 --> 00:15:15.080
book and Jesse Marcel Junior's book, he shows photos of
241
00:15:15.120 --> 00:15:18.279
his father, Jesse Marcel, holding some of the things that
242
00:15:18.360 --> 00:15:21.120
he brought back from the air from the crash site
243
00:15:21.159 --> 00:15:23.720
before the government came or military came and took that
244
00:15:23.759 --> 00:15:26.120
stuff away, and one of it was a sheet of
245
00:15:26.159 --> 00:15:29.559
metal that had some strange pictograms on it. And the
246
00:15:29.600 --> 00:15:32.000
fact that that also showed up in the forty one incident,
247
00:15:32.080 --> 00:15:35.840
I think is really really intriguing connection. We're talking in
248
00:15:35.960 --> 00:15:38.039
six years apart, and yet this could very well be
249
00:15:38.080 --> 00:15:40.679
the same alien species and then for the same alien
250
00:15:40.759 --> 00:15:46.120
craft or type of craft that would have ultimately, you know,
251
00:15:46.679 --> 00:15:50.039
I guess crashed, right, craft that would have crashed and
252
00:15:50.080 --> 00:15:52.840
shared the same type of notes.
253
00:15:54.480 --> 00:15:57.759
That's correct. There's a story that I include in my book,
254
00:15:57.759 --> 00:16:01.639
and it's by a man who pull on an internet forum.
255
00:16:02.000 --> 00:16:05.960
He said, my grandparents owned and farmed the land where
256
00:16:06.000 --> 00:16:08.559
the crash occurred. He said, I couldn't get them to
257
00:16:08.559 --> 00:16:10.480
tell me much about it, but I thought it was
258
00:16:10.840 --> 00:16:14.080
of historic importance. So I flew to Cape Girarda, Missouri,
259
00:16:14.720 --> 00:16:17.000
and I went to the property and there was the
260
00:16:17.120 --> 00:16:20.320
old man. He was not as old obviously at the time.
261
00:16:20.799 --> 00:16:23.919
He bought the property from his grandparents, I think just
262
00:16:24.000 --> 00:16:27.080
after World War two, and he was not told of
263
00:16:27.120 --> 00:16:30.759
any spaceship crash. But he did say I was digging
264
00:16:30.799 --> 00:16:34.799
a cistern, a big tank to hold rainwater out in
265
00:16:34.879 --> 00:16:39.559
the far reaches of his backyard near his crops, and
266
00:16:39.679 --> 00:16:43.559
he found these strange strips of metal embedded in the soil,
267
00:16:43.759 --> 00:16:48.399
like what is this? And there was odd imprints of
268
00:16:49.240 --> 00:16:53.679
like again hieroglyphics or pictograms or just symbols he couldn't
269
00:16:53.720 --> 00:16:57.039
make out. And he said that I could not bend
270
00:16:57.080 --> 00:16:59.879
permanently or crease it, and I could not how to
271
00:16:59.879 --> 00:17:04.640
it with the sharpest like wirecutters or scissors or knives
272
00:17:04.640 --> 00:17:07.000
that he had on the farm. It was just like
273
00:17:07.279 --> 00:17:11.400
unlike anything he had ever seen. So he apparently gathered
274
00:17:11.440 --> 00:17:14.519
them all up and hid them in his barn. And
275
00:17:14.599 --> 00:17:18.039
the guy who posted this information said, I couldn't get
276
00:17:18.039 --> 00:17:20.039
the old guy to tell me what he did with
277
00:17:20.119 --> 00:17:24.119
that eventually, so it could be floating around today or
278
00:17:24.160 --> 00:17:28.279
maybe stolen by goodness knows who, Maybe a government agent
279
00:17:28.319 --> 00:17:30.680
came in and took it. But I'd like to think
280
00:17:31.200 --> 00:17:33.720
maybe he puts some in a safety deposit box in
281
00:17:33.759 --> 00:17:36.279
a bank, and maybe we'll get a hold of that someday.
282
00:17:37.240 --> 00:17:41.000
But again, it sounds like the Roswell crash, the same
283
00:17:41.039 --> 00:17:44.880
report of the same kind of big headed gray aliens
284
00:17:45.279 --> 00:17:47.839
in the same kind of spaceship that had metal with
285
00:17:48.480 --> 00:17:53.880
the occasional odd imprintable a logo or a picture of something,
286
00:17:54.000 --> 00:17:58.079
or letter or number that Jesse Marcel said, I distinctly
287
00:17:58.119 --> 00:18:01.240
saw when my father brought in the debris one night
288
00:18:01.559 --> 00:18:04.480
in forty seven. But in nineteen forty one we had
289
00:18:04.680 --> 00:18:07.519
a big problem in getting out the truth. There was
290
00:18:07.559 --> 00:18:10.319
a lot of censorship in those days. You weren't even
291
00:18:10.359 --> 00:18:14.400
allowed to write or photograph. The fact that the President
292
00:18:14.480 --> 00:18:17.880
of the United States is confined to a wheelchair and
293
00:18:17.960 --> 00:18:21.200
cannot walk. He has to have help to stand and
294
00:18:21.279 --> 00:18:24.480
to barely move a few paces, and anyone who tries
295
00:18:24.559 --> 00:18:29.799
to take a photograph of President Roosevelt would have the
296
00:18:29.839 --> 00:18:32.119
camera knocked out of his hands or snatched away in
297
00:18:32.160 --> 00:18:35.319
the film removed. So that gives you a level of
298
00:18:36.240 --> 00:18:39.720
understanding that if you were told not to do something,
299
00:18:39.759 --> 00:18:43.160
not to write or to talk about something, you did
300
00:18:43.200 --> 00:18:46.359
your patriotic duty or you were in trouble. So that's
301
00:18:46.400 --> 00:18:50.079
another factor that helped to crush getting the truth out
302
00:18:50.119 --> 00:18:52.519
about the Cape Charles story. They were not to write
303
00:18:52.519 --> 00:18:55.359
about it in the papers, and they did not. I've
304
00:18:55.559 --> 00:18:59.359
scoured them thoroughly, can't find any evidence of the story,
305
00:18:59.559 --> 00:19:03.240
but or don't see any story of an airplane crashing either.
306
00:19:03.880 --> 00:19:04.200
Right.
307
00:19:06.640 --> 00:19:10.480
Well, and That's the thing about both of these cases,
308
00:19:10.720 --> 00:19:14.440
and probably even more than we even realize, is that,
309
00:19:15.680 --> 00:19:21.519
like Roswell, they originally printed that it was a UFO,
310
00:19:22.000 --> 00:19:24.519
meaning they just didn't know what it was, and then
311
00:19:24.759 --> 00:19:27.359
eventually it came out and said, well, this is a
312
00:19:27.359 --> 00:19:29.680
weather balloon, where you know, there's nothing to worry about,
313
00:19:29.680 --> 00:19:33.440
it's fine. In this case, they thought it was some
314
00:19:33.480 --> 00:19:37.720
type of airplane crash but then found out different.
315
00:19:39.319 --> 00:19:40.000
How did they.
316
00:19:41.079 --> 00:19:43.880
Originally come across this and think it was an airplane
317
00:19:44.160 --> 00:19:45.640
come to find out something else.
318
00:19:47.279 --> 00:19:50.960
I have a source that had a source. A lot
319
00:19:51.000 --> 00:19:53.480
of it is second hand, I realized, but when you
320
00:19:53.519 --> 00:19:58.079
have a story that's old and everyone's deceased. Apparently a
321
00:19:58.119 --> 00:20:02.079
farm hand was there the farm that night and saw
322
00:20:02.119 --> 00:20:05.599
the crash and saw a big fireball go up and thought,
323
00:20:05.599 --> 00:20:08.400
oh my gosh, an airplane must have overshot the runway.
324
00:20:08.799 --> 00:20:12.359
The area where I think it crashed. It was near
325
00:20:12.440 --> 00:20:17.319
two different airfields south of Cape in farm territory, So
326
00:20:17.400 --> 00:20:20.000
he rushed inside and called the operator and they got
327
00:20:20.079 --> 00:20:22.480
him in touch with the Cape Jardo Fire Department, which
328
00:20:22.519 --> 00:20:26.920
shared a building with the Cape Police Department downtown, So
329
00:20:27.039 --> 00:20:30.200
that's how they could come rushing out so quickly, and
330
00:20:30.279 --> 00:20:34.559
they apparently did, and we're fighting the fire. Many years later,
331
00:20:34.720 --> 00:20:38.880
the Huffman story made the news in even the Cape
332
00:20:38.920 --> 00:20:44.880
Jardo newspaper, and a Cape Tardo retired fireman said, I'm
333
00:20:45.200 --> 00:20:48.200
very ill with cancer and gathered his family around and said,
334
00:20:48.599 --> 00:20:51.759
I want you to know this story that Reverenduffman told
335
00:20:51.839 --> 00:20:57.480
is entirely true. I was there fighting the fire, doing
336
00:20:57.519 --> 00:21:01.119
my job as I was instructed, and I saw the craft,
337
00:21:01.640 --> 00:21:05.559
I saw the three bodies. The Huffman narrative is correct.
338
00:21:06.160 --> 00:21:09.039
And he said the military came in and caught him
339
00:21:09.079 --> 00:21:12.119
trying to sneak a piece of the debris into his pocket,
340
00:21:12.799 --> 00:21:15.480
and they chewed him out, forced him to hand it over,
341
00:21:16.279 --> 00:21:18.359
and then they booted him out of the crash site
342
00:21:18.359 --> 00:21:21.119
and sent him home. And he said, in the aftermath,
343
00:21:21.200 --> 00:21:23.720
I felt like I was being watched around town and
344
00:21:23.799 --> 00:21:26.559
my phone was tapped. So I looked into that. And
345
00:21:26.640 --> 00:21:30.039
in nineteen forty one, the director of the FBI was
346
00:21:30.119 --> 00:21:33.960
crazy about tapping people's phones. There was very little regulation
347
00:21:34.079 --> 00:21:36.680
against it, and he got away with doing almost anything
348
00:21:36.720 --> 00:21:40.400
he wanted. So there was an FBI office that was
349
00:21:40.440 --> 00:21:44.559
opened in Cape Girardo in about a month before the
350
00:21:44.640 --> 00:21:49.559
crash in March of forty one. And so it makes
351
00:21:49.599 --> 00:21:52.680
sense that Reverend Upman said I saw an FBI man
352
00:21:52.759 --> 00:21:55.599
who may have been the one who swore him to secrecy.
353
00:21:56.440 --> 00:22:01.839
So the story in every way hangs together from little
354
00:22:01.880 --> 00:22:06.240
bits and pieces. We can adjust to this. Just like
355
00:22:06.279 --> 00:22:09.039
a year or two ago, I was contacted on Twitter
356
00:22:09.079 --> 00:22:15.799
by a woman who said, my grandmother's sister lived on
357
00:22:15.839 --> 00:22:18.960
a farm not too far from the crash site, and
358
00:22:19.000 --> 00:22:22.359
they saw this thing flying overhead and it was pretty
359
00:22:22.359 --> 00:22:26.359
low and it was emitting sparks, and that it came
360
00:22:26.440 --> 00:22:30.359
down near another relatives farm and she knows the story
361
00:22:30.400 --> 00:22:32.799
is true. Now I wanted more information, give me more
362
00:22:32.799 --> 00:22:38.000
details than she climbed up. People may still be scared
363
00:22:38.039 --> 00:22:42.039
to talk about even old family lore to this day
364
00:22:42.200 --> 00:22:44.880
that you know the government can come knocking on your
365
00:22:44.880 --> 00:22:49.160
door and be very intimidating. I had a friend from
366
00:22:49.240 --> 00:22:52.279
high school who wanted to investigate this story around the
367
00:22:52.359 --> 00:22:55.599
year two thousand, two thousand and one, and he began
368
00:22:55.720 --> 00:22:59.839
checking out library books on UFOs and contacting UFO investigators
369
00:23:00.160 --> 00:23:02.279
coming to Cape Charto. One day he went to the
370
00:23:02.319 --> 00:23:06.039
Cape Charto Public Library and they said, oh, two men
371
00:23:06.079 --> 00:23:10.240
in suits were here asking questions about you, asking questions
372
00:23:10.319 --> 00:23:13.240
about what books you've been checking out and what you're like,
373
00:23:14.440 --> 00:23:18.200
and so even as of like twenty four or twenty
374
00:23:18.240 --> 00:23:21.880
five years ago, this may have been an attempt to
375
00:23:22.000 --> 00:23:26.200
either monitor the story or possibly to discredit it or
376
00:23:26.839 --> 00:23:32.480
destroy it. But there's so many UFO cases. I witnessed
377
00:23:32.519 --> 00:23:36.480
testimony of other stories and crashes and videos online, and
378
00:23:36.559 --> 00:23:40.519
people are putting things from their cell phones and getting
379
00:23:40.559 --> 00:23:43.160
footage and putting it on the internet, and it's making
380
00:23:43.240 --> 00:23:46.240
TV shows. I think the government's kind of given up
381
00:23:46.640 --> 00:23:48.279
on trying to crush these stories.
382
00:23:51.400 --> 00:23:55.480
Well, and I mean with the invention of AI, sometimes
383
00:23:55.480 --> 00:23:57.160
you can't even tell.
384
00:23:57.160 --> 00:24:03.480
Yeah, and you trust anyone right, Well, now, what would
385
00:24:03.519 --> 00:24:08.640
you consider is the strongest piece of evidence or testimony
386
00:24:08.759 --> 00:24:09.920
in this particular case.
387
00:24:11.240 --> 00:24:16.119
Well, FDR apparently dictated some Oval Office memos and I
388
00:24:16.119 --> 00:24:18.240
put him in the book and he refers to these
389
00:24:18.279 --> 00:24:21.119
celestial wonders that have come to us and a non
390
00:24:21.319 --> 00:24:25.079
Terrestrial Science and Technology committee that he formed in the
391
00:24:25.119 --> 00:24:29.240
aftermath of the crash. And there are other other references
392
00:24:29.559 --> 00:24:32.960
such as a Nathan Twining report on Roswell of September
393
00:24:33.039 --> 00:24:36.039
nineteen forty seven and In it, he said the recoveries
394
00:24:36.079 --> 00:24:40.759
from the New Mexico Desert floor were deemed extraterrestrial in
395
00:24:40.880 --> 00:24:45.240
nature when compared to the Missouri discovery of nineteen forty one.
396
00:24:45.319 --> 00:24:48.720
He says this twice in this report, and so you know,
397
00:24:48.880 --> 00:24:51.759
you've got to just do a double take again and again.
398
00:24:52.960 --> 00:24:57.359
There another little document was a typed up piece of
399
00:24:57.400 --> 00:25:02.319
paper that a UFO investigator got from an alleged former
400
00:25:02.519 --> 00:25:07.960
American Army Intelligence counter Intelligence Corps member who said, I'm
401
00:25:08.000 --> 00:25:11.319
dying of cancer in the late nineties, and he wanted
402
00:25:11.319 --> 00:25:13.799
to get this story out before he died, and he
403
00:25:13.920 --> 00:25:17.799
told some secrets. In the first secret, he told there
404
00:25:17.880 --> 00:25:22.519
was an lenticular arrowdyne that crashed in southern Missouri in
405
00:25:22.640 --> 00:25:28.160
nineteen forty one. And you know, again, it just can't
406
00:25:28.160 --> 00:25:30.720
be anything else but the Cape Gerrodo crash. And it
407
00:25:30.799 --> 00:25:35.039
was a very real event. And I was going through
408
00:25:35.079 --> 00:25:39.160
some other research, and in my book, there's a man
409
00:25:39.279 --> 00:25:43.759
named Fletcher Pratt. He's a New York City newspaper reporter
410
00:25:44.240 --> 00:25:48.400
who stood up at a nineteen forty nine science conference
411
00:25:48.440 --> 00:25:52.920
and said, my military contacts have told me an alien
412
00:25:52.960 --> 00:25:57.759
space spaceship crashed in this decade in the forties and
413
00:25:57.880 --> 00:26:01.960
little humanoid, strange creatures of at least three feet in
414
00:26:02.079 --> 00:26:05.640
height were pulled out of it, and that it was
415
00:26:05.680 --> 00:26:08.759
the air and the atmospheric pressure that killed him. So
416
00:26:08.920 --> 00:26:12.880
again that sounds like Cape Jurdle or possibly Roswell, or
417
00:26:12.880 --> 00:26:16.880
maybe emerging of the two. But again we hear this
418
00:26:17.000 --> 00:26:23.960
atmospheric pressure or the oxygen level was just a killer
419
00:26:24.000 --> 00:26:27.960
for these guys. They weren't used to getting out walking around.
420
00:26:28.039 --> 00:26:33.279
I suppose General George Marshall was approached in the early fifties,
421
00:26:33.319 --> 00:26:37.880
according to a scientist who attended a conference in Mexico City,
422
00:26:38.279 --> 00:26:41.200
and he said, I asked General Marshall, what's up with
423
00:26:41.319 --> 00:26:44.759
these UFOs, these flying saucers. And the General was very
424
00:26:44.759 --> 00:26:47.799
candid with him and said, we've had three crashes, and
425
00:26:47.880 --> 00:26:51.599
in each case the atmospheric pressure in the air, they
426
00:26:51.599 --> 00:26:55.680
couldn't breathe it and they incinerated it from within. That
427
00:26:55.759 --> 00:26:58.880
they looked all right on the outside. But you know,
428
00:26:58.960 --> 00:27:02.519
this sounds just like Abe Gerardo. So then we get
429
00:27:02.559 --> 00:27:08.599
to another story that sure seems to fit the Cape narrative,
430
00:27:09.240 --> 00:27:12.400
and that takes place in Washington, d C. If you've
431
00:27:12.440 --> 00:27:17.480
read the book, you know another member of Roosevelt's cabinet
432
00:27:17.559 --> 00:27:24.480
was involved in that story. It was very famous. Secretary
433
00:27:24.519 --> 00:27:29.559
of State Cordell Hull, according to his cousin, took him
434
00:27:29.599 --> 00:27:32.279
to the steps of the Capitol building one day, apparently
435
00:27:32.319 --> 00:27:35.480
in the early forties and swore him to secrecy about
436
00:27:35.480 --> 00:27:38.279
what you're about to see. That sounds familiar. So they
437
00:27:38.319 --> 00:27:41.359
went in the Capitol and went down below many levels,
438
00:27:41.400 --> 00:27:45.279
below the street level, and down this corridor and to
439
00:27:45.359 --> 00:27:47.960
a storeroom and they opened it up, and inside were
440
00:27:48.079 --> 00:27:51.759
three glass jars with three dead aliens with the big head,
441
00:27:52.000 --> 00:27:55.599
black eyes, tiny little dots and you know, slip from out,
442
00:27:56.000 --> 00:27:59.200
long thin arms and legs floating in what appeared to
443
00:27:59.200 --> 00:28:02.839
be from albo hide as a preservative. And across the
444
00:28:02.960 --> 00:28:08.119
room were these boxes of metallic debris that Cordel hall
445
00:28:08.200 --> 00:28:10.720
so it was from a ship that had crashed. And
446
00:28:10.759 --> 00:28:12.839
he said, we have to keep this a secret. We
447
00:28:12.960 --> 00:28:15.839
don't want to set off a panic. So it's an
448
00:28:15.880 --> 00:28:19.519
exact description. There were no visible injuries reported on these
449
00:28:19.519 --> 00:28:23.480
alien bodies. What else could it be? And I got
450
00:28:23.480 --> 00:28:25.720
a phone call a few years ago on New Year's
451
00:28:25.720 --> 00:28:29.119
Eve from an elderly gentleman. He said, I want to
452
00:28:29.160 --> 00:28:32.359
confirm that story under the Capitol. I know because I
453
00:28:32.440 --> 00:28:34.720
saw it as a little boy. It was the last
454
00:28:34.799 --> 00:28:37.759
day of school and my father, who worked for FDR
455
00:28:38.039 --> 00:28:41.359
in the Bureau of Statistics and was a good friend
456
00:28:41.440 --> 00:28:44.480
to Cordel Hall, took me under the Capitol. We had
457
00:28:44.559 --> 00:28:47.079
lunch at the Senate Office Building, and then we went
458
00:28:47.200 --> 00:28:51.119
under the Capitol and down the storeroom, down the corridor
459
00:28:51.160 --> 00:28:53.960
to his storeroom and opened it up and he said,
460
00:28:53.960 --> 00:28:56.559
my father just said, oh, this must be some kind
461
00:28:56.599 --> 00:28:59.319
of storeroom. And he let me look at these three
462
00:28:59.440 --> 00:29:03.119
bodies and this metallic crash debris. So I think it
463
00:29:03.160 --> 00:29:08.279
was pretty obvious that his father, Stuart Arthur Rice, knew
464
00:29:08.279 --> 00:29:11.640
exactly what was in this room. He didn't register any surprise,
465
00:29:12.359 --> 00:29:14.880
you know, he knew exactly where the room was without
466
00:29:14.920 --> 00:29:17.680
an escort, and he wanted to show his son this
467
00:29:17.960 --> 00:29:21.000
historic case, but not tell him anything because it was
468
00:29:21.039 --> 00:29:23.519
a staid secret and he was probably afraid his son
469
00:29:23.519 --> 00:29:26.839
would blab. And so the old man told me in
470
00:29:26.920 --> 00:29:29.400
this phone call some years ago he since passed away,
471
00:29:29.880 --> 00:29:32.319
that his dad did show him this, and he saw it,
472
00:29:32.839 --> 00:29:35.039
and the whole thing is true. So where would you
473
00:29:35.119 --> 00:29:38.480
take Cape Girardo fines. After you hustled them out of there,
474
00:29:38.519 --> 00:29:40.960
the military scooped it up, took it to Sikeston to
475
00:29:41.039 --> 00:29:45.680
their airfield, probably overnight, probably put it on that bomber
476
00:29:45.680 --> 00:29:48.519
plane the next morning, and flew at East. But there
477
00:29:48.640 --> 00:29:53.599
was no Pentagon, no CIA, no NSA, no DA Defense Intelligence.
478
00:29:54.480 --> 00:29:57.839
Where would you hide this stuff? And that's where we
479
00:29:57.880 --> 00:30:02.000
get into the Freemason connection. Was a hardcore Freemason and
480
00:30:02.039 --> 00:30:04.839
they revere the Capitol building. It's even on the cover
481
00:30:05.039 --> 00:30:11.640
of Masonic literature. So again, Fdr and Hull, who used
482
00:30:11.680 --> 00:30:14.920
to serve in the Congress, and Harry Truman who served
483
00:30:14.960 --> 00:30:18.960
in the Senate and in the Congress, were all hardcore Freemasons.
484
00:30:19.279 --> 00:30:22.000
And where would you put this down below in the
485
00:30:22.000 --> 00:30:25.599
Capitol until the heat dies down? You never know what's
486
00:30:25.680 --> 00:30:27.880
going to happen next. I'm sure they were all keeping
487
00:30:27.920 --> 00:30:31.319
their eyes and ears open. And Harry Truman was the
488
00:30:31.319 --> 00:30:35.319
Grand Master Freemason of the state of Missouri, so I'm
489
00:30:35.400 --> 00:30:39.200
sure he found out pretty soon from either his government
490
00:30:39.240 --> 00:30:42.359
contacts or his Masonic contacts. And he had been in
491
00:30:42.400 --> 00:30:44.799
Cape Gerardo a number of times and even lived there
492
00:30:44.880 --> 00:30:47.559
in the year nineteen oh six when he got some
493
00:30:47.640 --> 00:30:51.519
military training in the National Guard and FDR had been
494
00:30:51.559 --> 00:30:56.720
to Cape Girardo in nineteen twenty, so you would think
495
00:30:56.799 --> 00:30:59.680
my hometown's the most obscure nothing place in the country.
496
00:31:00.000 --> 00:31:01.880
When I was growing up, it was just a sleepy
497
00:31:01.880 --> 00:31:04.039
little town. But I found out there was a lot
498
00:31:04.119 --> 00:31:08.279
more going on there, and it's an eye opening saga
499
00:31:08.359 --> 00:31:11.720
that I just wish would go more mainstream today and
500
00:31:11.839 --> 00:31:14.400
kind of push roswell for attention, you know.
501
00:31:15.079 --> 00:31:17.440
Yeah, you know, it's always those sleepy little towns that
502
00:31:17.480 --> 00:31:20.400
hold the biggest secrets in my experience.
503
00:31:21.160 --> 00:31:25.480
Yeah, we're gonna take a quick and hear from our sponsors.
504
00:31:25.640 --> 00:31:26.400
We'll come right.
505
00:31:26.279 --> 00:31:30.640

513
00:32:06.400 --> 00:32:11.799
creativity come together find out more. I know dakians studios
514
00:32:12.319 --> 00:32:16.880
dot com.
515
00:32:17.319 --> 00:32:20.559
Before the break, Eric mentioned you know small towns and
516
00:32:20.839 --> 00:32:23.799
the secrets that they have. I mean, I live in
517
00:32:23.839 --> 00:32:26.720
North Dakota. The majority of the state is nothing but
518
00:32:26.799 --> 00:32:31.519
small towns. And I sent Eric a video of this
519
00:32:31.599 --> 00:32:35.279
that I saw on TikTok and there's I mean, I
520
00:32:35.359 --> 00:32:37.039
knew this was well before I sent this to him,
521
00:32:37.079 --> 00:32:41.519
But Devil's Lake is supposedly the home of probably one
522
00:32:41.519 --> 00:32:45.720
of the biggest cryptic cases that there are, so yeah,
523
00:32:47.200 --> 00:32:50.119
the biggest. The funniest thing too, though, is that, you know,
524
00:32:51.079 --> 00:32:53.279
anything that's in a small town, it's kind of swept
525
00:32:53.319 --> 00:32:57.160
under the rug. And Paul, you can probably attest to
526
00:32:57.200 --> 00:33:01.799
us that it's not necessarily talked about. It's kind of
527
00:33:01.839 --> 00:33:06.359
like hush hush, especially back in the nineteen forties, nineteen fifties,
528
00:33:06.880 --> 00:33:10.160
even a lot today, especially here in North Dakota. You
529
00:33:10.200 --> 00:33:12.839
don't talk about that. We you know, we don't talk
530
00:33:12.880 --> 00:33:15.839
about that. That's that's not brought up. Is that kind
531
00:33:15.839 --> 00:33:17.839
of true for Cape Gerardo as well?
532
00:33:17.920 --> 00:33:20.200
I think somewhat. And if you did talk about it,
533
00:33:20.240 --> 00:33:23.160
I'm sure people will at least think you're crazy. If
534
00:33:23.160 --> 00:33:26.319
they were not familiar with this alien in spaceship crush landing.
535
00:33:26.720 --> 00:33:29.799
Or you mean you were sworn to secrecy and you're
536
00:33:29.799 --> 00:33:32.759
breaking your patriotic oath and talking about it. You know
537
00:33:32.839 --> 00:33:36.440
what's wrong with you? So you really want to shut
538
00:33:36.519 --> 00:33:39.920
up now. Reverend Hoffman said, two or three weeks after
539
00:33:39.960 --> 00:33:43.319
the crash, there was a real atmosphere of fearing cape
540
00:33:43.599 --> 00:33:46.160
that you didn't want to get into trouble. And that
541
00:33:46.279 --> 00:33:49.720
newsman who took the little photograph with the box camera
542
00:33:50.240 --> 00:33:52.480
came up to him on his front porch and said,
543
00:33:52.519 --> 00:33:54.559
I've got a copy of this. I want you to
544
00:33:54.599 --> 00:33:57.480
have a copy. And he handed over a copy of
545
00:33:57.519 --> 00:34:00.359
that picture of the alien propped up under the arm arms.
546
00:34:00.960 --> 00:34:04.160
So Reverend Huffman really didn't want it, but he held
547
00:34:04.160 --> 00:34:06.119
on to it and eventually gave it to his son
548
00:34:06.599 --> 00:34:08.880
for safe keeping. And the son moved to a small
549
00:34:08.880 --> 00:34:13.320
town in Kansas where he fathered two or three children,
550
00:34:13.519 --> 00:34:16.159
and one of them was his daughter, who eventually brought
551
00:34:16.199 --> 00:34:19.960
out the Hoffman family narrative in the nineties. She said,
552
00:34:20.039 --> 00:34:23.239
I saw that photograph at family parties at least a
553
00:34:23.280 --> 00:34:26.760
dozen times, and it always creeped her out. It was
554
00:34:26.880 --> 00:34:30.159
again the big, bulbous headed alien with big black eyes,
555
00:34:30.199 --> 00:34:33.559
and it just scared her. As a little girl. She
556
00:34:33.639 --> 00:34:36.039
got glimpses of the picture, she wanted to know more
557
00:34:36.119 --> 00:34:40.400
than I fully would not tell her. So the photograph
558
00:34:40.639 --> 00:34:43.719
disappeared one day when a neighbor came over and asked
559
00:34:44.599 --> 00:34:48.119
to inspect it closely and said, I know something about photography.
560
00:34:48.840 --> 00:34:51.079
I'll just take this picture and bring it back later
561
00:34:51.119 --> 00:34:54.599
after I examine it. And instead he skipped on. He
562
00:34:54.639 --> 00:34:57.320
moved away. Within days or about a week later, he
563
00:34:57.440 --> 00:35:00.440
was gone, and so was the picture. It makes you
564
00:35:00.480 --> 00:35:03.679
wonder if the newsman who used that brownie camera had
565
00:35:03.679 --> 00:35:05.960
made a copy, how many other copies did he have
566
00:35:06.079 --> 00:35:08.639
and did he offer them around to other people that
567
00:35:08.719 --> 00:35:11.840
he recognized from the crash site. So far, nothing has
568
00:35:11.880 --> 00:35:15.000
turned up, and if you google it on the internet
569
00:35:15.039 --> 00:35:18.480
you might see a recreation for a sci fi documentary
570
00:35:19.000 --> 00:35:22.280
of a couple of local men farmers holding up a dead,
571
00:35:22.320 --> 00:35:26.360
creepy Lookmalian. But there was another US president I found
572
00:35:26.400 --> 00:35:29.599
out who came to Cape Girardo in the nineteen twenties,
573
00:35:29.679 --> 00:35:32.800
in the seventies, and as president in the nineteen eighties,
574
00:35:32.800 --> 00:35:38.440
and that's Ronald Reagan. His mentor was Reverend Ben Hill Cleaver,
575
00:35:38.960 --> 00:35:41.280
and he took over as the pastor of a church
576
00:35:41.360 --> 00:35:44.719
in Cape Girardo in nineteen twenty eight. I think from
577
00:35:44.760 --> 00:35:48.760
my own great grandfather, Reverend ol Smith, who got transferred
578
00:35:48.760 --> 00:35:52.559
to Saint Louis so Reagan's mentor. He just loved the
579
00:35:52.559 --> 00:35:55.599
guy and was engaged to the man's daughter for a while.
580
00:35:57.079 --> 00:35:59.920
Eventually fell apart and he went on to be a
581
00:36:00.119 --> 00:36:03.639
radio man. But he visited Cape Girardo and came back
582
00:36:03.639 --> 00:36:06.400
as president and did something in town. He did give
583
00:36:06.440 --> 00:36:08.840
a speech and mentioned how he used to come to
584
00:36:08.880 --> 00:36:13.360
Cape Girardo. And there's a letter that has surfaced from
585
00:36:13.400 --> 00:36:16.280
doctor Edward Teller, who was a friend of Ronald Reagan's.
586
00:36:16.480 --> 00:36:21.239
It's from the early nineteen eighties and there's a comment
587
00:36:21.360 --> 00:36:25.159
to many comments about the new star Wars missile defense
588
00:36:25.199 --> 00:36:29.559
program that doctor Teller wanted in on. But he mentioned, quote,
589
00:36:29.719 --> 00:36:33.679
a menace greater than the nuclear arms race exists. It
590
00:36:33.760 --> 00:36:37.639
does not originate here on Earth, but comes from space itself.
591
00:36:37.920 --> 00:36:41.719
A danger was perceived in nineteen thirty nine, only two
592
00:36:41.800 --> 00:36:45.800
years before a UFO was captured. Now what could that
593
00:36:45.880 --> 00:36:49.880
be again? And he doesn't explain to Reagan what was
594
00:36:50.599 --> 00:36:53.320
this UFO that was captured two years after thirty nine
595
00:36:53.360 --> 00:36:57.239
and forty one, because I think Reagan already knew, probably
596
00:36:57.360 --> 00:37:00.519
found out from his good friend, Reverend Ben Hill Cleaver,
597
00:37:00.880 --> 00:37:03.679
who lived in nineteen seventy five before he passed away,
598
00:37:03.679 --> 00:37:06.440
and he was a really good man. So Reagan is
599
00:37:06.519 --> 00:37:09.920
quoted as saying in one document, I used to hear
600
00:37:10.079 --> 00:37:12.760
rumors about this sort of thing when I was in pictures,
601
00:37:13.519 --> 00:37:16.480
so that would have been, you know, the forties and fifties,
602
00:37:16.960 --> 00:37:21.079
and it was probably something that could have been discussed
603
00:37:21.239 --> 00:37:23.519
in a letter or a phone call from this cape
604
00:37:23.599 --> 00:37:27.480
Chardo pastor who replaced my great grandfather. So again we
605
00:37:27.519 --> 00:37:31.400
have all kinds of presidential stuff going on in this
606
00:37:31.480 --> 00:37:36.559
small town that was very heavily Masonic. Rush Limbaugh the
607
00:37:36.599 --> 00:37:41.000
first was a leading freemason in town, and he may
608
00:37:41.000 --> 00:37:43.440
have told his son, and on his radio program, I
609
00:37:43.480 --> 00:37:47.119
think a near two thousand, they had live call ins,
610
00:37:47.159 --> 00:37:50.440
and a caller asked Rush Limba the broadcaster, what's up
611
00:37:50.440 --> 00:37:54.280
with this UFO crash in your hometown, Rush, And he said,
612
00:37:54.320 --> 00:37:58.000
you know, there's more to this story than you might think,
613
00:37:58.360 --> 00:38:00.599
and then he moved on to the next column. He
614
00:38:00.679 --> 00:38:03.280
left it intriguing. He didn't say, what a bunch of chunk,
615
00:38:03.719 --> 00:38:06.840
that rumor's not true, Get out of here with that garbage.
616
00:38:06.840 --> 00:38:10.199
But he could have said anything like that, but he
617
00:38:10.280 --> 00:38:13.599
did not dismiss the story and instead made you think
618
00:38:13.679 --> 00:38:16.880
that this thing was quite real, but he couldn't discuss
619
00:38:16.880 --> 00:38:21.000
it with a kind of conservative audience. I wrote to
620
00:38:21.119 --> 00:38:23.760
Rush and I didn't get a response. But he used
621
00:38:23.800 --> 00:38:26.199
to be my little league umpire when I played ball
622
00:38:26.239 --> 00:38:29.599
as a skinny kid long ago in Cape Girardo. He
623
00:38:29.719 --> 00:38:34.519
was just an obscure radio DJ named Rusty Saw, and
624
00:38:34.599 --> 00:38:38.719
he need he needed to augment his income by umpiring
625
00:38:38.760 --> 00:38:42.119
baseball games in the park. So he didn't tell me
626
00:38:42.159 --> 00:38:45.239
then and he didn't tell Meny later as an adult,
627
00:38:45.679 --> 00:38:47.559
but I think he knew plenty.
628
00:38:48.679 --> 00:38:52.159
Yeah, well, I do have a quick follow of it.
629
00:38:52.199 --> 00:38:58.079
So you mentioned Ronald Reagan and that his mentor kind
630
00:38:58.079 --> 00:39:02.360
of maybe told him. I've seen, especially in the past
631
00:39:02.440 --> 00:39:06.840
few years, that there are presidents that are asked this
632
00:39:06.920 --> 00:39:14.079
question that are there aliens? Barack Obama, Clinton, There's been
633
00:39:14.119 --> 00:39:18.000
a couple of others and they don't right out say no,
634
00:39:18.719 --> 00:39:24.360
but they'll say I can't talk about this. You know,
635
00:39:26.840 --> 00:39:34.239
I've seen the files and no comment. Now, do you
636
00:39:34.320 --> 00:39:43.480
feel that they are under strict law or or rules, saying,
637
00:39:43.960 --> 00:39:50.400
just like the people that came across this UFO, yeah.
638
00:39:49.960 --> 00:39:52.519
I would thank you. As presidents are right just exactly
639
00:39:52.559 --> 00:39:55.000
as you say, or they give a flippant answer. I
640
00:39:55.000 --> 00:39:56.960
can't tell you. If I did, I'd have to kill
641
00:39:57.000 --> 00:40:01.000
you haha. Or we might be visit. It is possible.
642
00:40:02.199 --> 00:40:05.760
Reagan was somewhat of an exception in his second term
643
00:40:06.480 --> 00:40:08.880
where he didn't come to Cape Chardo. As president on
644
00:40:08.960 --> 00:40:11.920
Air Force One, he would talk openly about, well, what
645
00:40:12.039 --> 00:40:14.760
if we were facing an alien threat from above? And
646
00:40:14.800 --> 00:40:17.639
he said this over and over and it used to
647
00:40:17.719 --> 00:40:20.280
kind of irritate some of his handlers. He didn't want
648
00:40:20.320 --> 00:40:22.599
him to bring it up, but he felt very strongly.
649
00:40:23.280 --> 00:40:26.360
I'm learning more about this in my research for President
650
00:40:26.440 --> 00:40:29.480
Reagan's Close Encounter is my next book. But he was
651
00:40:29.519 --> 00:40:32.800
a good man and I think a pretty good president,
652
00:40:32.840 --> 00:40:35.119
and he was square with people. He would just tell
653
00:40:35.119 --> 00:40:38.039
you things honestly. But I think at some point, like
654
00:40:38.079 --> 00:40:42.239
you say, they're told don't talk about this. This could
655
00:40:42.280 --> 00:40:46.480
start a panic royal the stock market, possibly lead to
656
00:40:46.760 --> 00:40:51.320
economic depression, and people might quit their jobs or quit
657
00:40:51.360 --> 00:40:55.280
their faith and they just have this notion that we're
658
00:40:55.320 --> 00:40:58.400
all children who can't handle the truth, and we'll panic
659
00:40:58.440 --> 00:41:01.719
in the streets. Look at the.
660
00:41:04.719 --> 00:41:08.199
Orson Wells radio broad christ and what happened with that.
661
00:41:09.159 --> 00:41:10.840
I brought that up in my book. That had to
662
00:41:10.880 --> 00:41:15.199
have been another factor, that there was a bit of
663
00:41:15.239 --> 00:41:18.400
a panic, a mild panic, and it was overblown by
664
00:41:18.480 --> 00:41:22.679
Orson Wells in the press afterwards. But it was his
665
00:41:24.320 --> 00:41:27.159
radio play War of the Worlds by H. G. Wells
666
00:41:27.760 --> 00:41:30.400
that he claimed he was related to that. Orson Wells
667
00:41:30.719 --> 00:41:34.320
put on this play about an alien landing on a farm,
668
00:41:34.679 --> 00:41:37.880
a bunch of aliens getting out shooting people, and this
669
00:41:38.079 --> 00:41:42.159
caused people to really ask what's going on. They didn't
670
00:41:42.199 --> 00:41:45.599
seem to realize this was just a radio production. They
671
00:41:45.639 --> 00:41:49.719
made it sound so very realistic. The HG. Wells book
672
00:41:49.719 --> 00:41:53.000
from the eighteen nineties was set in London and Orson
673
00:41:53.559 --> 00:41:58.480
transferred it to Grover's Mill, New Jersey. But I'm thinking
674
00:41:58.559 --> 00:42:00.880
that had to have been a factor that very night,
675
00:42:02.280 --> 00:42:05.440
that like, well, we don't want to repeat of that again,
676
00:42:05.599 --> 00:42:08.840
you know, so let's keep the lid on this story
677
00:42:08.880 --> 00:42:12.599
for reasons of national security and to avoid any kind
678
00:42:12.679 --> 00:42:15.840
of messy panic. That might royal the market, and we
679
00:42:15.840 --> 00:42:18.880
were just climbing out of the depression of nineteen forty one.
680
00:42:19.440 --> 00:42:22.480
It had been like over ten years of economic misery.
681
00:42:22.800 --> 00:42:26.559
It's like the worst period of American history, frankly, very bleak,
682
00:42:26.760 --> 00:42:30.800
very dismal, and no one wanted to go back to that. Right.
683
00:42:31.199 --> 00:42:33.880
Well, now, was there any indication as to what it
684
00:42:34.119 --> 00:42:37.599
was that was seen in thirty nine, two years before
685
00:42:37.679 --> 00:42:40.239
the forty one incident? I mean, I feel like it's
686
00:42:40.280 --> 00:42:43.159
a weird claim to say, you know that there.
687
00:42:43.119 --> 00:42:47.599
Was some danger, a danger was perceived in nineteen thirty nine. Well,
688
00:42:47.719 --> 00:42:53.639
what was that? Exactly right, I'm wondering. Here we go
689
00:42:54.159 --> 00:42:59.519
into the Magenta story and supposedly the Germans Nazis had
690
00:42:59.559 --> 00:43:02.639
gotten hold of a spaceship crash on their soil in
691
00:43:02.719 --> 00:43:07.360
thirty six, and the Italians in nineteen thirty three, and
692
00:43:07.400 --> 00:43:12.199
that a source from the Vatican told President Roosevelt through
693
00:43:12.239 --> 00:43:16.599
an intermediary that they have these crashed spaceships that they've
694
00:43:16.760 --> 00:43:20.840
cracked down on about and even jailed reporters who tried
695
00:43:20.840 --> 00:43:23.639
to report it. And if that's true, that might have
696
00:43:23.679 --> 00:43:26.880
been told to FDR in thirty nine, and they felt
697
00:43:26.920 --> 00:43:28.920
there was a danger, and this is one of the
698
00:43:28.920 --> 00:43:32.719
reasons why he cracked down on the Cape Drave story.
699
00:43:32.880 --> 00:43:35.639
Maybe from the very beginning. No one has to write
700
00:43:35.639 --> 00:43:38.320
about this or talk about it. We've got our own
701
00:43:38.400 --> 00:43:43.440
possible secret weapon. It's something we can weaponize. And it
702
00:43:43.639 --> 00:43:48.159
makes sense that if FDR had one of these, he
703
00:43:48.199 --> 00:43:51.800
didn't want the Nazis and the Italians to know, because
704
00:43:51.920 --> 00:43:54.679
FDR was sure we're going to be at war with
705
00:43:54.800 --> 00:43:58.679
Nazi Germany, and eventually we were. But it was the
706
00:43:58.880 --> 00:44:00.800
Japan that, of course tacked America.
707
00:44:01.719 --> 00:44:11.360
Right well, now, something that has been speculated for quite
708
00:44:11.360 --> 00:44:13.840
a while, Eric and I have kind of speculated this
709
00:44:14.119 --> 00:44:17.800
just talking back and forth and stuff, is that you
710
00:44:17.840 --> 00:44:23.719
know that over the past several years, especially after Roswell,
711
00:44:24.119 --> 00:44:28.800
technology has jumped drastically, and I would say even in
712
00:44:28.880 --> 00:44:32.760
the past twenty years with cell phones and stuff like that.
713
00:44:34.800 --> 00:44:39.599
Is there any indication that you've seen that we are
714
00:44:39.840 --> 00:44:43.320
reverse engineering technology that we've found from these ships?
715
00:44:44.400 --> 00:44:47.199
I would wager we are from the little bits and
716
00:44:47.239 --> 00:44:50.559
pieces that I read. And then we get into Bob
717
00:44:50.639 --> 00:44:53.599
Lazar who said he worked on one ship and there
718
00:44:53.599 --> 00:44:57.159
were like eight others in various states of damage or
719
00:44:57.559 --> 00:45:02.000
being intact. And that you know, we have this recovered
720
00:45:02.119 --> 00:45:06.639
arsenal that our scientists are looking into. And David Grush,
721
00:45:07.079 --> 00:45:11.079
the intelligence operative who's now speaking out, said all of
722
00:45:11.119 --> 00:45:14.519
these stories from what he hears, are true. We have
723
00:45:14.679 --> 00:45:18.199
bodies or biologics as he called them. And he said
724
00:45:18.199 --> 00:45:22.599
the Magenta Italian story from nineteen thirty three is true,
725
00:45:22.920 --> 00:45:26.519
and he said, quote, we scooped it when American forces
726
00:45:26.559 --> 00:45:29.119
went into Italy in nineteen forty four and forty five.
727
00:45:29.159 --> 00:45:31.800
We stole it away from Mussolini and the Italians and
728
00:45:32.119 --> 00:45:35.639
shipped it home. They're crashed spaceship. And that would add
729
00:45:35.679 --> 00:45:39.559
to what FDR referred to as these celestial wonders that
730
00:45:39.639 --> 00:45:44.239
have come to us. So it's exciting to contemplate. But
731
00:45:44.320 --> 00:45:46.679
I'm sure at first it was way over our heads,
732
00:45:47.119 --> 00:45:51.159
and I think we're probably making some progress. Philip Corso
733
00:45:51.239 --> 00:45:54.639
wrote the day after Roswell and said that we seeded
734
00:45:55.000 --> 00:45:59.920
various corporations with their research labs technology that we got
735
00:46:00.079 --> 00:46:04.639
from this Roswell craft, which he said was being manned,
736
00:46:05.280 --> 00:46:09.400
if you can use that term, by bio robots, and
737
00:46:09.440 --> 00:46:11.800
that may have been what Cape Gjerarda was all about.
738
00:46:11.840 --> 00:46:16.599
They're biological robots that were seemingly somewhat fleshy, with brains
739
00:46:16.679 --> 00:46:20.519
and lungs for breathing and eyes for viewing, and they
740
00:46:20.559 --> 00:46:26.039
would follow the preconditioned programs that a higher race had
741
00:46:26.079 --> 00:46:30.079
sent them out to undertake. You know, there was war
742
00:46:30.159 --> 00:46:32.519
going on the Pacific and in Europe, and Earth was
743
00:46:32.559 --> 00:46:36.920
a very dangerous place, so you might send out some lackeys,
744
00:46:36.960 --> 00:46:42.800
some replaceable stooges, these aliens that crashed, and you would
745
00:46:42.880 --> 00:46:45.599
just say, well, there's plenty more in the lab and
746
00:46:46.199 --> 00:46:50.199
the factory that we can replace both. And the humans
747
00:46:50.679 --> 00:46:54.559
seized upon the crash remained so quickly that aliens couldn't
748
00:46:54.639 --> 00:46:58.079
possibly come back and get it without turning it into
749
00:46:58.159 --> 00:47:02.159
a huge event, so we were allowed to keep it
750
00:47:02.280 --> 00:47:09.039
and examine it. Whether or not other crash stories are real,
751
00:47:10.239 --> 00:47:12.119
I feel like a few of them at least are,
752
00:47:12.199 --> 00:47:16.559
including Roswell. The Aztech New Mexico crash of forty eight
753
00:47:16.639 --> 00:47:20.239
is very interesting and very possibly real. But you don't
754
00:47:20.280 --> 00:47:23.880
hear about too many lately, and so you have to
755
00:47:23.960 --> 00:47:28.079
wonder if aliens are changing up their technology, or they're
756
00:47:28.119 --> 00:47:32.159
doing less exploring, or we have to get into their
757
00:47:32.199 --> 00:47:35.239
minds and think what they might be thinking of planet Earth.
758
00:47:35.639 --> 00:47:40.159
Are we anymore or less dangerous now or less fascinating?
759
00:47:40.840 --> 00:47:43.119
We were on the verge of the atomic age in
760
00:47:43.199 --> 00:47:46.559
forty one. I don't know what could have caused the crash,
761
00:47:46.599 --> 00:47:49.880
but I get asked a lot, well, how come aliens
762
00:47:49.920 --> 00:47:53.239
are so smart with these big brains and yet they
763
00:47:53.320 --> 00:47:56.440
crashed like dummies on a farm field in Missouri. And
764
00:47:56.519 --> 00:47:59.079
all I can say is they're not perfect. They're from
765
00:47:59.079 --> 00:48:03.000
another world, and they're not familiar with our electromagnetic forces,
766
00:48:03.000 --> 00:48:07.199
our gravitational field, our weather, and how to deal with
767
00:48:07.280 --> 00:48:10.440
human beings that are shooting at you, maybe missiles or something.
768
00:48:10.559 --> 00:48:12.760
So there's all kinds of factors they would not have
769
00:48:12.800 --> 00:48:15.760
been familiar with, and if they had a mechanical error
770
00:48:15.840 --> 00:48:19.079
or pilot error, they sure could have crashed. We have
771
00:48:19.599 --> 00:48:22.880
well trained American pilots that crash in their airplanes then
772
00:48:23.079 --> 00:48:26.280
and even now, and they're familiar with our gravity and
773
00:48:26.320 --> 00:48:30.840
our weather patterns, and you know, all our computerization. So
774
00:48:31.400 --> 00:48:32.280
no one's perfect.
775
00:48:33.000 --> 00:48:36.280
Really, I would say that too, like we have people
776
00:48:36.360 --> 00:48:39.559
that are trained to fly in our officer and they
777
00:48:39.679 --> 00:48:42.880
can't even do it sometimes just because of mechanical failure.
778
00:48:42.960 --> 00:48:46.239
So yeah, yeah, well I find what I found interesting too,
779
00:48:46.400 --> 00:48:51.280
is this is going to more speculative environment here. You know,
780
00:48:51.320 --> 00:48:57.079
there's this conversation over the decades about ancient technology. We're
781
00:48:57.079 --> 00:49:01.400
talking about pre Egypt even, and the hieroglyphs that show
782
00:49:02.239 --> 00:49:09.639
what we would call extraterrestrial pictures or UFOs within those pictures,
783
00:49:10.079 --> 00:49:13.000
and now there's this discourse or that these people who
784
00:49:13.039 --> 00:49:17.639
claim that these aliens are actually human beings that pre existed.
785
00:49:17.840 --> 00:49:23.559
Modern technology was destroyed and now we're rebuilding. And so
786
00:49:23.639 --> 00:49:26.840
when we're thinking about, like when you said these robots
787
00:49:27.519 --> 00:49:30.400
that seem to have a fleshy outside and whatnot, we're
788
00:49:30.400 --> 00:49:33.559
looking at artificial intelligence starting to pick up and these
789
00:49:33.679 --> 00:49:36.400
robotic entities that they're starting to build and they're becoming
790
00:49:36.440 --> 00:49:40.519
more realistic. Do you think there's a possibility that the
791
00:49:40.599 --> 00:49:45.199
technology we once had was destroyed in some weird world
792
00:49:45.239 --> 00:49:49.440
event or something, and now we're just recreating the things
793
00:49:49.480 --> 00:49:52.800
that we're once already here because of past humans that
794
00:49:52.840 --> 00:49:55.920
are now considered extraterrestrial and living in outer space.
795
00:49:57.719 --> 00:50:01.679
It's a mind blowing thought and a certain possible most
796
00:50:01.679 --> 00:50:06.760
any explanation could be. We could speculate. Another possibility is
797
00:50:06.800 --> 00:50:10.000
they come from another dimension and we're just now our
798
00:50:10.079 --> 00:50:12.599
scientists are learning that we may be in a multi
799
00:50:12.639 --> 00:50:16.760
dimensional world. Then there's the physical world, the vastness of
800
00:50:16.800 --> 00:50:20.639
the cosmos. If you ever study the stars and the galaxies,
801
00:50:20.639 --> 00:50:25.639
and it's mind numbingly huge. There's almost no chance we're alone.
802
00:50:26.239 --> 00:50:29.159
And even if you have a thousand other races, some
803
00:50:29.239 --> 00:50:31.559
of them could be advanced enough to travel here and
804
00:50:31.679 --> 00:50:35.519
look around. So it really opens your mind when you
805
00:50:35.559 --> 00:50:39.079
start studying this sort of thing, extraterrestrials and all the
806
00:50:39.119 --> 00:50:42.159
possibilities and what's coming in the future. I don't know.
807
00:50:42.480 --> 00:50:45.480
I hear things about next year twenty twenty seven, some
808
00:50:45.519 --> 00:50:49.559
sort of big event, more revelations coming, and I certainly
809
00:50:49.559 --> 00:50:51.960
hope to live to see it, but I've been disappointed
810
00:50:52.039 --> 00:51:00.280
so many times the government closure files they're really seeing
811
00:51:00.360 --> 00:51:03.199
right now or big nothing burger if you ask me.
812
00:51:03.639 --> 00:51:06.239
But they may be starting slowly and building our way
813
00:51:06.320 --> 00:51:07.800
up the next year, so we'll.
814
00:51:07.639 --> 00:51:12.920
See, yeah, yeah, And you know that's the biggest thing
815
00:51:13.199 --> 00:51:17.280
is it could be a combination of all of those
816
00:51:17.320 --> 00:51:22.840
things too. Like like you mentioned, I'm hoping in our
817
00:51:22.880 --> 00:51:26.599
lifetimes we get to see it, because you know, I
818
00:51:26.639 --> 00:51:29.960
grew up on Star Trek, Star Wars, a bunch of
819
00:51:30.000 --> 00:51:34.760
science fiction and from a from a very young age.
820
00:51:34.800 --> 00:51:37.199
I'm like, I think all of us look up at
821
00:51:37.199 --> 00:51:41.800
the stars and realize there's something more out there than
822
00:51:42.000 --> 00:51:48.320
just us humans. So it it's gonna be interesting. Yeah,
823
00:51:48.360 --> 00:51:52.000
I've seen the same theories that twenty twenty seven there's
824
00:51:52.039 --> 00:51:55.800
something big coming. I've even been told by a very
825
00:51:55.800 --> 00:51:59.639
close friend who's a medium say the same thing.
826
00:52:00.960 --> 00:52:03.920
We had a medium on.
827
00:52:05.400 --> 00:52:07.119
The show that also said the same thing.
828
00:52:08.159 --> 00:52:11.360
So yeah, but what what exactly?
829
00:52:12.840 --> 00:52:16.440
It's interesting thing, right, it is that even psychics today
830
00:52:16.599 --> 00:52:19.519
who who claimed to something big happening can't pinpoint what
831
00:52:19.679 --> 00:52:22.079
it is. And so the question is is this just
832
00:52:22.519 --> 00:52:25.840
you know, is it just your your is it a theory?
833
00:52:26.000 --> 00:52:27.760
Is it just something that you're feeling inside?
834
00:52:27.800 --> 00:52:27.960
You know?
835
00:52:28.039 --> 00:52:30.320
What exactly is it? No one can pinpoint it. It could
836
00:52:30.320 --> 00:52:33.000
be anything. It could be something related to uh the
837
00:52:33.039 --> 00:52:36.480
extra trestricals. It could be something related to humanity, related
838
00:52:36.519 --> 00:52:40.159
to the earth itself. How many people happened, They know
839
00:52:40.199 --> 00:52:42.679
that COVID was gonna happen. When it did, you know,
840
00:52:42.719 --> 00:52:45.840
It's like there's these big events, life altering events. Uh,
841
00:52:45.880 --> 00:52:48.639
I mean they come around, They've been around for the
842
00:52:49.119 --> 00:52:51.760
you know the entire existence of the human race. We've
843
00:52:51.800 --> 00:52:54.599
seen these same repetitions and so yes, I think in
844
00:52:54.719 --> 00:52:57.920
some point something big is going to happen. But what
845
00:52:58.000 --> 00:53:00.960
it is that's the big question, and we won't know
846
00:53:01.079 --> 00:53:02.800
until it actually happens.
847
00:53:03.199 --> 00:53:07.239
Right, It's like a mystery novel. You gotta keep reading too, really.
848
00:53:09.119 --> 00:53:14.239
But we're makes you wonder if extrarestuels are just watching
849
00:53:14.280 --> 00:53:17.159
your TV to be like, Okay, we got to step in.
850
00:53:18.519 --> 00:53:23.239
It's gotten ridiculous enough. We are getting close to the end.
851
00:53:23.760 --> 00:53:25.559
The one question I wanted to ask you before we
852
00:53:25.679 --> 00:53:29.159
let you go is what what is your hope that
853
00:53:29.239 --> 00:53:31.639
people take away from from this book.
854
00:53:33.039 --> 00:53:36.559
Well, I hope you'll find it enlightening and yes, entertaining,
855
00:53:36.719 --> 00:53:41.360
but the open minds for people around the world hopefully
856
00:53:41.960 --> 00:53:45.480
to understand that we're not alone. And it's part of
857
00:53:45.559 --> 00:53:48.960
like the Disclosure product program, you know, we have to
858
00:53:48.960 --> 00:53:51.679
start thinking along the lines of not only are we
859
00:53:51.800 --> 00:53:54.599
being visited by this gray race, but there may be
860
00:53:54.679 --> 00:53:58.760
several others, and they may be coming from another galaxy
861
00:53:59.320 --> 00:54:02.920
or from another dimension, and they're able to use like
862
00:54:03.199 --> 00:54:07.519
a wormhole or a portal or a dimensional rift, and
863
00:54:07.559 --> 00:54:09.800
there's just all kinds of ways they could come and go,
864
00:54:09.920 --> 00:54:12.920
and all kinds of forms they can take. A good
865
00:54:12.960 --> 00:54:14.559
man to head on if you can get him is
866
00:54:14.639 --> 00:54:17.800
Preston Demmitt. He's got all kinds of stories that he's
867
00:54:17.800 --> 00:54:22.079
collected and includes many eyewitnesses who have seen the bodies
868
00:54:22.119 --> 00:54:27.360
and the crash in American hands in airfields, especially right Patterson,
869
00:54:27.960 --> 00:54:31.840
and so all these stories I've heard and read so many.
870
00:54:31.880 --> 00:54:36.599
Now it's pretty obvious we're being visited and by a
871
00:54:36.679 --> 00:54:40.800
wide variety of different creatures with different abilities. I can
872
00:54:40.840 --> 00:54:43.880
go out my hallway right behind me in my apartment
873
00:54:43.920 --> 00:54:48.159
building and meet people who are friendly, some hostile, some
874
00:54:48.199 --> 00:54:50.920
secretive and don't say anything. And I think it could
875
00:54:50.920 --> 00:54:53.159
be the same way with aliens coming here. There's a
876
00:54:53.239 --> 00:54:56.960
wide variety of personalities and agendas, and we just have
877
00:54:57.079 --> 00:54:59.800
to go about our business, you know, not panic and
878
00:55:00.239 --> 00:55:02.920
give up on your job or your education or your religion,
879
00:55:03.320 --> 00:55:08.119
and just open your minds hopefully, hopefully with the help
880
00:55:08.159 --> 00:55:11.480
of my book, which you can get at any online
881
00:55:11.519 --> 00:55:14.320
book retailer. Awesome.
882
00:55:15.800 --> 00:55:19.760
All right, Well, last question that we ask everybody where
883
00:55:19.760 --> 00:55:21.719
can everybody find you and find your book?
884
00:55:23.079 --> 00:55:26.159
You can go to my publishers at Llewellyn dot com,
885
00:55:26.280 --> 00:55:29.800
or you can go to Barnesandoble dot com, Amazon dot com,
886
00:55:29.960 --> 00:55:32.480
most any bookstore if you walk in and ask about
887
00:55:32.519 --> 00:55:34.119
it to look it up and order it for you,
888
00:55:34.559 --> 00:55:36.679
or you can look it up online and go to
889
00:55:37.000 --> 00:55:40.800
these sites on your own. And I try to cram
890
00:55:40.840 --> 00:55:44.400
in as much fact and information as I can, and
891
00:55:44.599 --> 00:55:48.119
citations and references and where I got my data, and
892
00:55:48.679 --> 00:55:52.079
keep speculation to a minimum, but make it reasonable. And
893
00:55:52.159 --> 00:55:54.920
I hope people will appreciate that it's full of facts
894
00:55:55.440 --> 00:55:58.519
and not just a bunch of flimsy theories thrown together.
895
00:56:00.280 --> 00:56:02.880
We hope that as well. So Paul, thank you for
896
00:56:02.920 --> 00:56:04.519
being on Paratruth you're born.
897
00:56:05.480 --> 00:56:08.239
Oh, thank you for having me, gentlemen. It was a pleasure.
898
00:56:09.559 --> 00:56:14.480
Likewise, all right, folks, I hope you've enjoyed this conversation.
899
00:56:15.119 --> 00:56:18.480
Definitely check out the book The UFO Bombshell Before Roswell.
900
00:56:20.679 --> 00:56:24.559
We have so many different stories from things that happened
901
00:56:24.599 --> 00:56:28.480
before Roswell that just did not come to fruition in
902
00:56:28.519 --> 00:56:34.159
the news, so I can considered really doing the research
903
00:56:34.280 --> 00:56:41.440
and finding other crashes, other stories, stuff like that. Something
904
00:56:41.480 --> 00:56:47.159
we ask our Paratruthers community on Facebook do you think
905
00:56:47.400 --> 00:56:53.960
the UFO cover up started before Roswell? Sixty six percent
906
00:56:54.079 --> 00:56:59.559
said yes, Roswell wasn't the beginning, Seventeen percent said maybe,
907
00:56:59.639 --> 00:57:04.800
but I need stronger evidence, one percent said no, Roswell
908
00:57:05.000 --> 00:57:09.360
is still the key case, and sixteen percents I've never
909
00:57:09.440 --> 00:57:15.159
heard of Cape Girardo before after listening to this episode.
910
00:57:15.639 --> 00:57:19.159
I would absolutely love to hear if your opinion has
911
00:57:19.280 --> 00:57:24.599
changed after listening to this, So shoot us a comment
912
00:57:24.719 --> 00:57:27.400
and let us know, or you can email us Paratruth
913
00:57:27.480 --> 00:57:31.000
Radio at genmail dot com, or even better, get into
914
00:57:31.079 --> 00:57:34.679
the Paras Ruther's Facebook group until next week folks, where
915
00:57:34.679 --> 00:57:37.519
you'll find us the same time, same channel.
916
00:57:37.599 --> 00:57:40.519
