Identity Work: Remembering Who You Were Before the World Told You Who to Be

What happens when you stop letting your past define who you get to become?

In this powerful episode of Light Beyond the Ashes, I sit down with Dawn Brockmeyer, a sound healer, identity work coach, intuitive spiritual coach, and musician whose own healing journey became the foundation for the work she shares with the world today.

After living with lifelong physical pain and enduring multiple spinal surgeries, Dawn began reclaiming her power by changing the way she saw herself, her story, and what was possible for her life. We dive into the power of the mind, identity work, sound healing, and what can happen when we begin releasing the versions of ourselves built around pain, limitation, and survival.

Dawn now creates her own music and hosts daily online sound bath sessions designed to help people begin their day grounded, intentional, and connected to themselves.

This conversation is about more than healing. It is about remembering who you are beneath everything you have been through, reclaiming your power, and realizing that your past does not have to determine your future.

Dawn is the embodiment of a beautifully balanced soul who turned her own journey inward into a light she now shares with others.

Sometimes creating the life of your dreams begins with remembering that the power to change your life was within you all along.
