Send us Fan Mail

Welcome to an encore presentation of one of our most popular episodes of Get Doc'd!  Today we're brining back our conversation with Dan Watt - producer, director and great friend of the show - whose heartwarming documentary Everybody Dance has become even more celebrated since we first spoke.

In this episode, we dive deep into Dan's journey behind the camera, exploring the making of the film, his creative process, and the powerful stories he captured following five remarkable kids with different disabilities as they prepared for an emotional dance recital.  We also hear about Dan's career in the film industry and the personal stories that inspired his work.

Since our original conversation, Everybody Dance won an Emmy in 2024.  A testament to the impact of this beautiful story about resilience, inclusion, and the transformative power of dance. And with July being Disability Pride Month, there's no better time to revisit this inspiring chat.  Plus, you can now watch the film for free on Prime Video, Fandango and Tubi.

Dan was a joy to talk with, and this remains one of our most fun interviews ever.  So sit back, relax and join us for this encore presentation - an inspiring conversation with the very charming Dan Watt.
