00:00:00
Speaker 1: You know, when I was a boy, I really wanted a catcher's mitt, but my dad wouldn't get it for me. So I held my breath until I passed out and banged my head on the coffee table. The doctor thought I might have brain damage.
00:00:12
Speaker 2: Dad, what's the point of this story?
00:00:14
Speaker 1: I like stories.
00:00:15
Speaker 3: Now, back to Dirty Work. Adam Copeland and Derek Papa on KNVR 104.5 and 680 AM. The Sports Leader.
00:00:27
Speaker 2: Dirty work on a Thursday afternoon. Adam Copeland, Deepak, Danny Dunn hanging out with you. Fun catching up with Brett Jones and 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan. If you missed any of that, all available at thesportsleader.com, the The Sports Leader app, and the The Sports Leader YouTube channel. Tomorrow, 2 o'clock, Dirty Work live from Harmonic Brewing in Thrive City, just outside of Chase Center, getting ready for the Warriors. Opening night at home against the Memphis Grizzlies, and then 3 to 4.30, our Dubs Roundtable. Myself, Derek, Murph Marcus, and John Dickinson. Getting you ready for the home slate of the Warriors 26-27 schedule.
00:01:01
Speaker 4: Looking forward to it.
00:01:02
Speaker 5: Of course, Marcus Thompson is going to join us at 2.30 and It means so much where Marcus Thompson was a Tom guy and he didn't have to come on with us, but he decides to come on too.
00:01:10
Speaker 2: Hey, don't touch the money, Marcus. Don't touch the money. We do it every week. Derek and I step back into the arena. You can see the scoreboard up on the video stream on thesportsleader.com or the The Sports Leader app or wherever you're streaming video of the show. There are still people out there coming to find out, Derek, who don't know what we look like. For that collar yesterday. Yeah, wear fire hydrants. I'm always a little bit taken aback. A little stocky. It's funny because it was weird to me initially when we started getting on video because I was here and on air before we ever had video. It was weird when people started recognizing us from seeing clips of us and all that. And now it's a little bit odd when people are like, didn't have any idea this is what you look like. Every once in a while, somebody will come to a live show. Like, oh, I want to put a face to the name. Come on, everybody. You got to follow the YouTube sports leader adapter.
00:01:50
Speaker 6: Die.
00:01:50
Speaker 7: Come on. Yeah.
00:01:51
Speaker 2: The, the accounts here. Well, we've gone head to head numerous times this year. I'm 12 and 10 against the, the opponents this year, Derek nine and 11, but I'm beating Derek by 11 points right now. So Derek, a few points back under 500 here as we streak towards the post season.
00:02:04
Speaker 4: I feel well rested. We had a bye week last week.
00:02:07
Speaker 2: Did have a bye.
00:02:07
Speaker 4: The whole dip.
00:02:09
Speaker 2: So I'm feeling good. I do have a question here. Cause Danny, you guys did not dip last week when I was out sick with, with JD. And I know JD is a fan of the tips and you can see her carry Crowley one and O in the dips, Ted Ramey, one and one Rick Tittle.
00:02:20
Speaker 7: Oh, and one.
00:02:21
Speaker 2: I feel like it's a little bit skewed here. My record now, Danny, because like when Derek's been out, I've had to go head to head with, with the opponent. When I'm out there, it just doesn't have to battle JD. Is he leaving some on the table? We could have done a dip with J.D. I'm talking to Danny.
00:02:35
Speaker 6: Sorry.
00:02:36
Speaker 8: Well, I mean, that benefits you a little bit, right?
00:02:38
Speaker 2: Does it? I mean, I'm still top of the standings. I'd like to see Derek at 9 and 12, I guess is my point. I thought maybe J.D. would have a win. But then he'd catch you in the points, though. Yeah, maybe. Should we dip tomorrow during the roundtable? Murph versus JD double dip.
00:02:51
Speaker 9: No, no, no.
00:02:51
Speaker 4: Me versus everyone.
00:02:52
Speaker 2: You Derek against the field. Well, we do it each and every week.
00:02:55
Speaker 4: There's a lot of dubs to talk about.
00:02:57
Speaker 2: Danny's double dips. It's five topics, one minute to debate each topic. Danny decides the winner. We don't know the other rules, but there are some. It's a segment we like to call Danny's double dips.
00:03:07
Speaker 3: Dirty Work presents Danny's double dips. Your double dips.
00:03:15
Speaker 2: Just take one dip and end.
00:03:20
Speaker 9: It.
00:03:20
Speaker 2: The new dance move that goes with it where we throw the hand up on the hip and then we dip and dip and dip. Danny, what's going on, dude? Another edition of Danny's Double Dips. How we feeling? Feeling good. I forgot how that open sounded. Yeah, it sounded good. Well, Derek didn't want to do it last week. Okay. He's afraid of his opponent.
00:03:34
Speaker 7: I'm sorry.
00:03:34
Speaker 2: All right, one time, rock, paper, scissors, head-to-head to decide who goes first or second. Rock, paper, scissors, shoot. You want first or second? You won it.
00:03:41
Speaker 4: I'll defer.
00:03:41
Speaker 2: All right, you'll defer, so I'll go first in this one. All right. All right, Danny, what we got, dude? All right, you're going first. The Dodgers are not in the World Series.
00:03:49
Speaker 6: No, they're not.
00:03:49
Speaker 2: Despite Derek rooting for a three-peat. Evil man, yeah.
00:03:54
Speaker 8: Which team's postseason elimination has made you smile the most through the years?
00:03:58
Speaker 2: Well, the Dodgers for sure. I loved all the postseason losses for the Dodgers. They lost to the Red Sox in seven. That was great. Really did not like them winning the– The COVID title, that was a bummer. Teams that I liked getting eliminated from the postseason, I got to be honest with you, one that really kind of I felt good about, but I didn't think I'd feel as good about because I really can't stand how good the Eagles have been in this era with Nick Sirianni. I did like seeing Mahomes get his brakes beat off in the Super Bowl a couple of years ago. That was one I really enjoyed. Watching the defense and Cooper DeGene really kind of pick him apart. Will Blankenship back there. for the Philadelphia Eagles. For me, though, you guys know, the Dodgers, first and foremost, I get so much enjoyment from watching them lose. The problem is the Giants have been so bad, the Dodgers have been so good, that to only root for the Dodgers to lose and to have them lose and go, oh, they got eliminated by, swept by the Brewers. Yeah, it felt good, but like, Dude, they were looking for a three-peat. How good does it feel to have a team get eliminated that was looking for a three-peat? So it has to be the Dodgers. You know how I feel about that, but it didn't feel as good as it should have.
00:04:59
Speaker 9: You know?
00:05:00
Speaker 4: I totally understand that. And I understand rivalries.
00:05:03
Speaker 5: I think it's a little much when Giants fans root for the Dodgers' demise, but I get it. It's a rivalry at the same time. For me personally, growing up, I've always hated the Lakers. Anytime the Lakers get bounced out of the postseason, I'm happy. And the Warriors have never done that, so that pisses me off, especially a couple years ago when they lost to them. I guess I enjoyed the Denver Broncos getting dominated by the Seattle Seahawks 43-8. I like when the Kansas City Chiefs lose Super Bowls. But honestly, I mean, the same thing where like I was a Raider fan. I couldn't talk crap. My team sucked. So anytime those team still. I still root against those teams, but it's hard for me to go all in on the Raiders. But, yeah, like, whenever those teams had success, I can't talk crap. I'm like, yeah, you got bounced out, but Peyton Manning dominated us, or Alex Smith threw five touchdown passes, Jamal Charles. I always enjoy the Broncos' Chiefs or the Lakers losing, but at the end of the day, my teams were crappy, so I really couldn't talk.
00:06:00
Speaker 9: All right.
00:06:00
Speaker 8: Both solid answers, but Derek, you were a little overly enthusiastic when Cope said 97 losses.
00:06:06
Speaker 2: Exactly. Yeah, yeah.
00:06:09
Speaker 4: I didn't say anything, actually.
00:06:11
Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, Danny. Danny, be accurate.
00:06:14
Speaker 5: It wasn't when he said 97 losses.
00:06:15
Speaker 4: It was when he was at the end there.
00:06:17
Speaker 2: Exactly.
00:06:18
Speaker 5: I was going to lose that regardless of what I said.
00:06:23
Speaker 2: You could have gone first. Last I checked, you deferred, right? Well, it's not the Daily Dip yet. I know the rules, my friend. You can't stop me. Alright, question two.
00:06:33
Speaker 8: We have been visited by some big names in the building over the past few months. Clay Aiken, You know, Bill Lasky, Akon.
00:06:40
Speaker 2: Do we talk about this real quick? The Clay Aiken was in the building yesterday. Did we discuss this on the air at all? No, dude, Bill Lasky, Clay Aiken. Akon was the last one. Oh, Akon. Dude, I walked in yesterday and there's a video screen here with some of the music stations. They were doing an interview. It said, welcome Clay Aiken. Immediately, Derek and I, I was like, dude, did you see Clay Aiken? He was like, did I see? I got a photo with him. Derek met Clay Aiken in the building yesterday and took a picture of him. Was he invisible? No, he wasn't invisible. No, he wasn't, dude. Very nice man. Still watch you in your room. Very nice man.
00:07:06
Speaker 4: He was like, oh, nice to meet you. And I go, thanks.
00:07:08
Speaker 2: I'm a Ruben Stutter fan. Yeah, dude, I voted for Ruby too. Thanks a lot, dude. Appreciate you. Anyway, Danny, what you got? All right, yeah.
00:07:14
Speaker 8: Big names in the building. You know, Clay Aiken, Bill Lasky, Akon, J01. Who would you like to visit the studio next? It could be celebrity, artist, athlete, whatever.
00:07:24
Speaker 5: I mean, for me, I'm a big Jack Black guy. I love Jack Black, Jables, Tenacious D, most of his movies. If I ever met Jack Black, I wouldn't know what to do. I wouldn't know what to say because he's just like the king of comedy to me. I know there's like guys that are more accomplished, you know, Larry David or Mel Brooks, but like to me, Jack Black is my inspiration of like how to be goofy, how to be just a crazy son of a bitch, honestly.
00:07:48
Speaker 4: Like I love Jack Black.
00:07:50
Speaker 5: So if he was here, I would be honestly like, You know, just, I wouldn't know what to say. Like right now, I'm getting nervous talking about meeting Jack Black. I met Conan O'Brien years ago.
00:08:02
Speaker 4: That was pretty awesome, Danny.
00:08:03
Speaker 6: You met Conan?
00:08:03
Speaker 5: I did meet Conan at South by Southwest in Austin. He was debuting his documentary about leaving The Tonight Show. But yeah, I would be starstruck if Jack Black showed up. So I would want that to happen and say, Jack, thank you.
00:08:15
Speaker 4: I appreciate you. I love you.
00:08:18
Speaker 2: All right, man. You were trying to fill that minute there, huh? Yeah, I was. I'm trying to think about guys who would be on tour, like Jimmy Carr. Stay tuned for those tickets because he maybe buys some time between now and November of next year. I would love that. For the cue to call. Yeah, I'm trying to think of a comedian that would be big. You know what would be a great one, dude, that I was thinking about because he was all over San Francisco recently, hitting every original Joe's Dude. Adam Sandler's one.
00:08:39
Speaker 7: Oh, yeah.
00:08:39
Speaker 2: That would hit a sweet spot. I love Doody Work. They used to do those movie tours where a guy would promote his movie going around.
00:08:46
Speaker 7: Yeah.
00:08:46
Speaker 2: Would love a guy like that. Adam Sandler in studio. RIP Norm MacDonald. I mean, the first and foremost would be Norm, of course, but he's no longer with us. So Adam Sandler would be near the top of my list. I'm trying to think of like other comedians that would come through or people who'd be promoting something because Jack Black is a really, really good one. And I know one that you and I would love. Somebody else who I think would be awesome that you and I just would fan play over and it would be hilarious to have. Nick Cage, dude, because we've talked tons of Cage.
00:09:12
Speaker 6: Oh, man.
00:09:12
Speaker 2: If Cage was, like, making the rounds.
00:09:13
Speaker 4: That would go off the rails.
00:09:13
Speaker 2: If Cage was making the rounds, dude, he'd be an awesome one to have stop by in studio, dude.
00:09:17
Speaker 4: Yeah, I'd be down for that one.
00:09:19
Speaker 8: Copes, I loved your answer because it actually segues perfectly into the next question, but you interrupted the question, so the point goes to Dan.
00:09:26
Speaker 2: I interrupted the question to tell the audience. When did that happen? Because I interrupted to tell the audience that Clay Aiken was here in the building.
00:09:32
Speaker 4: Don't step on Danny's toes.
00:09:32
Speaker 2: Something we never talked about. There's other rules. Are you sure that you weren't just trying to, was that like throwing a flag in the fourth quarter of the Niner game just trying to keep things close?
00:09:39
Speaker 9: No.
00:09:39
Speaker 2: Okay, all right, Danny. Danny was offended. I'm offended. Follow the rules. I was trying to lay out the, whatever, Danny. Good Lord, man. I know, dude.
00:09:47
Speaker 8: Just remember when Derek interrupted and I gave you the point.
00:09:49
Speaker 2: I don't remember that.
00:09:50
Speaker 4: I don't remember that either.
00:09:51
Speaker 2: You like to laugh at the 97 points. You stay out of this. What do you got, Danny? All right, moving on here. Number three.
00:09:57
Speaker 8: I don't know what spawned this, but Giorno's been saying all week. week that her favorite Adam Sandler movie is That's My Boy.
00:10:03
Speaker 2: No, dude, this is BS, dude, yeah. Unless she's being.
00:10:05
Speaker 8: Tongue-in-cheek or what, but this made me think about my top five list and had me curious, what are your top five lists?
00:10:10
Speaker 2: Top five lists of Adam Sandler movies? Of Adam Sandler movies?
00:10:13
Speaker 6: Oh, man.
00:10:13
Speaker 2: Best Adam Sandler movies. I mean, dude, I gotta go. I'm the generation that is Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison, so I'm gonna go no particular order, at least to start right here. Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison are up near the top. I'm a major Big Daddy fan. I remember seeing that in theaters. In the summer of 1999 in Ogden, Utah, don't you know, with my mom and my mom's best friend and her son, Gabriel. So that's one that is close to my heart. I love that one. You know which movie really pulls at the heartstrings, dude? Got me a little emotional, dude.
00:10:41
Speaker 6: Click.
00:10:42
Speaker 2: Click will get you, dude. Click will mess you up a little bit. Boy, now I'm having a really tough time. What's the basketball one? Uncut Gems is one that's in there, and now I'm struggling. Do I want to go Uncut Gems? Because an acting performance that I think is also brilliant by Adam Sandler and one that is not a typical Sandler movie, the movie Spanglish is a solid flick, dude. But I don't know if I'm going to go Spanglish on the same list that I'm going to go Click. I'm going to go Uncut Gems on that list over Spanglish. I'm going to leave that one right outside. Of the top five. And just coming in at like number seven is Jack and Jill. Don't you know? So there's my top five there. Okay.
00:11:17
Speaker 4: First and foremost, Giorno is completely wrong. That's my boy.
00:11:19
Speaker 5: I've never even seen it, but I know that's not a great Adam Sandler movie.
00:11:22
Speaker 7: Okay.
00:11:23
Speaker 4: Top five. Again, this is top five. Starting with number five. Punch Drunk Love.
00:11:27
Speaker 2: Underrated.
00:11:28
Speaker 6: Good movie.
00:11:28
Speaker 2: It's where Adam Sandler is this weird.
00:11:32
Speaker 5: I don't even know how to describe him, but just kind of an insecure guy, and he meets this girl, and there's a great scene with Philip Seymour Hoffman. It shows his acting chops. Number four, Uncut Gems. I know a lot of people don't like the ending.
00:11:43
Speaker 2: I love the movie.
00:11:44
Speaker 5: It's a good sports angle. Great acting by Kevin Garnett. That's number four. Then we go into his comedy roles. Yes, well, yeah, exactly. Anger Management. Underrated with him and Jack Nicholson. She moaned and moaned like a wildebeest.
00:11:57
Speaker 2: Wildebeest.
00:11:57
Speaker 6: Wildebeest.
00:11:58
Speaker 5: Jack Nicholson's hilarious in that movie. One of Adam Sandler's underrated movies, in my opinion. Number two, Billy Madison. All-time classic, and of course, there's a reason why they made a sequel to Happy Gilmore.
00:12:09
Speaker 2: It's his best. Again, an honorable mention. Come on, dude. You gotta be with me on the honorable mention, because I left two off that I'm like, I hate that I even left these off. Singer?
00:12:20
Speaker 4: Oh, wedding singer.
00:12:20
Speaker 2: Yeah, wedding singer. Singer's in there. Wedding singer. Meatball for each hand. Waterboy's good, but I'd go even above the Waterboy, dude. I'll go singer. 50 First Dates. 50 First Dates is good, too. I'm a fan of dates, dude.
00:12:30
Speaker 7: You know what?
00:12:30
Speaker 4: People don't like this one. I'll say it. I saw it in theaters with my mom. She's like, what the hell is this?
00:12:34
Speaker 2: Little Nicky. You know, Little Nicky, not my absolute favorite. It's all right. Can I offer you also, dude, Man of the Tribe, dude? Eight Crazy Nights. Oh, yeah. Damn it. That's my honorable mention. Dude, there's your man of the tribe. You got to do. You got to offer.
00:12:47
Speaker 4: That's a technical foul.
00:12:48
Speaker 2: I'm going to give you props on your list, and I know we got a couple of the same ones. I don't know that there's a bad list out there unless it's Giorno saying that that's my boy. That's my boy.
00:12:57
Speaker 4: I love Sandler, and I love Andy Samberg.
00:12:59
Speaker 2: You and I both. But no.
00:13:00
Speaker 6: No.
00:13:01
Speaker 8: Both solid answers. I'm going to give the point to Derek on that one. I liked his list more.
00:13:05
Speaker 2: Okay. Simple as that. So what's your list, Danny? My list? Glad you asked. Maybe if you had asked that before, I might have given you the point.
00:13:15
Speaker 3: So hold on.
00:13:15
Speaker 2: If I had asked you your list before I went and you would have given me the point, you'd have been like, ah, I'm not going to let you pull from my list. Go ahead. What's your list, Dan? Yeah, tell us. All right.
00:13:23
Speaker 8: My top five. Happy Gilmore, Anger Management. I now pronounce you Chuck and Larry.
00:13:28
Speaker 6: Oh.
00:13:28
Speaker 2: 50 First Dates and Big Daddy. Okay.
00:13:31
Speaker 6: Not bad. Not bad.
00:13:32
Speaker 2: Chuck and Larry, huh?
00:13:34
Speaker 6: Yep. All right.
00:13:34
Speaker 4: What, are you going to call him out for that one?
00:13:36
Speaker 2: No, just make a note. It was a different era. Just putting it in my notes. Different era, Coach.
00:13:39
Speaker 6: Sorry, Dan.
00:13:40
Speaker 2: I'm just writing down Chuck and Larry. I'll remember that.
00:13:41
Speaker 6: All right.
00:13:42
Speaker 8: Two to one, Derek. Number four here. I'm going to watch Clayface tonight. Should I include it on my 31 for 31 list?
00:13:48
Speaker 2: Why not?
00:13:49
Speaker 5: It's a horror movie, right? It's a body horror movie and getting good reviews, I hear. Kind of a similar movie to The Substance, I hear, Dan, which you've seen, Demi Moore.
00:13:58
Speaker 2: Not bad, huh?
00:13:59
Speaker 4: I would say Clayface.
00:14:01
Speaker 8: Yes.
00:14:02
Speaker 5: From what I hear, it's... And Clayface is one of my favorite all-time Batman villains. I actually watched the episode of Batman the Animated Series where it's... What is his name? Matt Egan is the actor, and then he gets disfigured and becomes Clayface. I think it's actually a pretty interesting portrayal of a Batman villain. I'm not sure Batman's going to show up in this at all, but no, I think it's... I honestly, yeah, I was surprised it wasn't on your 31 and 31 to begin with because there's a horror element to it, obviously.
00:14:28
Speaker 4: And also, it is a superhero movie in a way with a Batman villain.
00:14:32
Speaker 5: So yes, yes, Dan, to get caught up on this list, Clayface should be on your 31 and 31.
00:14:42
Speaker 2: I'm going to say no, but it's just because I classify it more under the DCU category. Not that it's not going to be a horror movie, but I just don't know that it totally fits what Danny's trying to do with his 31 horror movies in 30 days. Like, would we put Clayface in the same category as Jeepers Creepers or as the Ugly Stepsister or as Bambi the Reckoning, which, by the way, I got to tell you, I looked at Bambi the Reckoning, the preview last night. Hilarious on Peacock. You can flip through, dude. There's a whole other universe we have to talk about that I didn't know existed. They've also done horror movies, bro. They've done one with Popeye. The Sailor Man? The same sort of thing. They've done one also with, I think it's Hansel and Gretel, dude.
00:15:20
Speaker 6: Yeah.
00:15:20
Speaker 2: Something like that. There's one with a tooth fairy, dude. It's called something.
00:15:24
Speaker 4: This is sick.
00:15:24
Speaker 2: It's like drilling and filling or something like that something insane there's some other ones out there I think more to my point is like I think this is a bonus for Danny's horror movies and I think this should be an addition Danny likes watching his movies I hope he still gets in another horror movie if he does it by all means but I just don't know that this is in the same category so 32 and.
00:15:42
Speaker 8: 31 yeah both good answers I'm going to give it to Copes on that one you appreciated my list more like you put more thought.
00:15:51
Speaker 2: In yeah yeah Have you seen these other horror movies, dude? The fairy tale horror movies, Danny? I have seen... I've seen Mary Had a Little Lamb. I've seen... What was it? Popeye the Slayer Man. Yeah, dude, yeah. Shiver Me Timbers. Dude, Snow White, A Tale of Terror. There's that one. Yeah, dude, Popeye the Slayer Man. That's pretty good, yeah. They've got a Tooth Fairy one. I was looking at all these... I was like, I can't believe that they've done all these movies. Anyway, we're tied up 2-2. So we're tied 2-2. Here we go.
00:16:18
Speaker 3: Tied 2-2.
00:16:19
Speaker 2: All right, Halloween is right around the corner.
00:16:20
Speaker 8: What are some of your all-time favorite costumes you've worn, and what made them so memorable?
00:16:25
Speaker 2: Well, I told you first and foremost, the one that my mom and I made together when I was at Austin Powers, when I was in fourth grade, before Austin Powers even had, like, a Spirit Halloween costume. We went to the thrift shop.
00:16:34
Speaker 7: Oh, nice.
00:16:35
Speaker 2: Got a red wig, pinned it up. We got a wig, pinned it up. Got a frilly jacket and all that. Popped out some lenses from some readers at Rite Aid. I was Austin powers. And then when I was in sixth grade, my absolute favorite one, I think I told you, I got to find a photo of this. Cause I think I got one somewhere. We could throw it up maybe next week for, for Halloween. My mom and I, I was, I was Marge Simpson for Halloween. That's where we got this like pot from Michael's. And it was like a planter where you could, it was like maybe, I don't know, foot and a half tall, pretty hollow and thin. And we spray, or we super glued like a thousand cotton balls to the outside of it. Spray painted it blue, painted my face yellow, throw on the pearls, dude, got a green dress from the thrift store. And I had a, A Marge Simpson, like two and a half foot tall, big blue hair on top of my head. That was maybe the most creative and the most fun. And then my school band cross-dressing. So that was the end of that for me, unfortunately.
00:17:24
Speaker 5: For me, I've told this story before, but like, memorable? It's when I dressed up as Randy Moss for Halloween and they gave out masks. This was allowed 20 years ago and I had the fro. I had a mask and a Randy Moss jersey and I went around my neighborhood and some people got the costume, some people did not. I remember this one woman opening the door and goes, you're not even wearing a costume.
00:17:44
Speaker 2: Oh, no.
00:17:45
Speaker 5: So it was, it's memorable because.
00:17:48
Speaker 4: Couldn't get away with it today.
00:17:49
Speaker 5: And then I remember during college, I tied a rope around my waist and a long rope dangling between my legs, and I went.
00:17:57
Speaker 4: As a horse.
00:17:58
Speaker 2: Yeah, right, you did.
00:18:00
Speaker 4: That was the joke. It was a horse.
00:18:01
Speaker 2: Yeah, I think you did.
00:18:02
Speaker 5: So those are the ones that stand out, Dan. I mean, I remember dressing up as Aladdin for Halloween. I mean, a lot of, like, Disney characters as a kid, but I think my friends will always bring up, hey, dude, remember when you.
00:18:12
Speaker 4: Dressed up as Randy Moss? Yeah, that was a choice.
00:18:14
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I remember that, yeah. How'd you do that, Tarek? Yeah, now you're going to go as me, huh? Yesterday, I remember I asked you, I was like, are you going to go all the way? You said, I'll pay homage. I have to do the betrayal right. Yeah, you gotta do it right. All right, Danny, what you got? Oh, sorry, Derek. You know what that means. The daily dip? No, no, no, no, no, no. That means that Copes wins the point and the dips.
00:18:35
Speaker 7: No, no, Dan. No, Dan.
00:18:35
Speaker 2: To decide the game? You shouldn't have deferred. You did defer, dude. You did defer hoping you were.
00:18:42
Speaker 7: Going to get.
00:18:42
Speaker 5: What is this, the Eagles and Chiefs Super Bowl where they threw the flag for PI and they gave a field goal?
00:18:46
Speaker 2: I just don't get why you'd defer and then reference the dip, the daily dip, knowing that you'd have more chances of the daily dip if you accepted.
00:18:51
Speaker 4: What, to have it decide the game like that, Dan?
00:18:53
Speaker 2: Hey, dude. I don't make the rules. Yeah, it's just the way the dips go. Oh, yeah. That is the Daily Dip or Danny's Double Dip for Thursday, October 22nd, 2026. Real quick, you're 209 in the Golden State Lumber Showroom. Text line checks in. Says, hey, I only get a... This is the first time this person's ever texted. Okay. They said, I get a small amount of time in the car by myself not listening to Top 40 or kids music. KMBR has been part of my life since I was a child. Can you please talk sports instead of movies and actors? It's like I don't even get my Bay Area sports fix on a Bay Area sports station. Oh, I'm sorry. I'm not. Dirty work on a Thursday when we come on back. Your Sound Soiree, some of the best sounds from across the sports world. You might have missed, what, two hours and 25 minutes was Brent Jones. We offered you Kyle Shanahan. You also have the website, theesportstheter.com and the app. And now you have the Sound Soiree. Danny will be taking points away from that 209 texture, I'll tell you that. It's Dirty Work on a Thursday when we come back. Your sound soiree for Thursday only here on The Sports Leader.
00:19:51
Speaker 3: Now back to Dirty Work with Copes and Depop on 104.5 FM and 680 AM, The Sports Leader.
00:20:01
Speaker 2: Dirty work on a Thursday.
00:20:03
Speaker 9: See?
00:20:04
Speaker 5: Yesterday we were talking about the mannerisms of hosting the show.
00:20:08
Speaker 4: I still copes with stuff when he's out.
00:20:09
Speaker 2: Right now he's in the bathroom.
00:20:10
Speaker 4: We'll see when he comes back. Dirty work on a Thursday.
00:20:13
Speaker 5: Adam Copeland, Derek Papa will be joined by Tim Ryan in about eight minutes. I know he was on with John Lund earlier in the day. So look at all that power hour, Danny. What do they call that now?
00:20:22
Speaker 2: Tim Ryan's bull rush. Bull rush. Okay.
00:20:24
Speaker 5: Well, he's going to do a little bull rushing with us later in about eight minutes here to talk about the Falcons and 49ers. We also have Larry Krueger joining us at 515. We're moving all our guests up a day because we got the Warriors roundtable tomorrow. It's going to be me, Adam Copeland, Brian Murphy, Marcus Boucher, and John Dickinson. We're talking dubs from 3 to 430 at Harmonic Brewing in Thrive City outside of Chase Center. And me and Copes will do dirty work from 2 to 3. Marcus Thompson going to join us at 230. And we'll talk about Yaxel Lindenborg and how I thought he went a little bit overboard in his press conference. Again, I don't mind that he talked some crap to Luka, by all means. In your first game, let him know you're there. It was just a little much, I thought, with I lost all respect for him. Then you're going to lose a lot of respect for a lot of guys in this league. So there's my two cents on that once again.
00:21:14
Speaker 4: Copes is back.
00:21:15
Speaker 2: I'm back. May I keep going? Do we open the Sound Soiree yet?
00:21:19
Speaker 4: It's time to open the Sound Soiree. this is dirty work sound soiree.
00:21:24
Speaker 6: No i've whipped up this nasty little soiree the.
00:21:26
Speaker 3: Best sounds you might have missed.
00:21:30
Speaker 6: Or what soiree honey i think that means um.
00:21:33
Speaker 2: Party on these sports your sound soiree for thursday october 22nd 2026 we'll get right into that here in just a minute here but people are checking out the golden state lumber and showroom text on about that texter who got he got really upset that we were uh We were talking things that weren't sports for like 10 minutes.
00:21:50
Speaker 4: Are the fellows saying like, that's what we listened to the show for.
00:21:52
Speaker 2: Yeah, dude, many people are like that. What is he talking about? 650 says, do that text or Mr. Grumpy Pans. 510, I said, we're going to take a point away from, Danny might take a point away from that 209. Mr. Grumpy Pans. 510 says, I knew there was a point system for texters. 510 says, that text is correct. You're not as funny as you think you are. And yet here you are. 925 checks in and says, F the Dodgers as a staff baseball team and a crew team. If you down with the Dodgers, F-U-2. Farhan Zaidi, F-U-2, says the 925. Another 925 says, hey, I'm 51 years old, and I've been listening to KMBR since I was in high school. Took me a while, but you guys have grown on me. Love the show.
00:22:29
Speaker 6: P.S.
00:22:29
Speaker 2: Screw the other guy. See, you can't make everybody happy. We just got to have fun. That's good to hear. We just got to keep doing our thing. And then other people are checking in. 415 says, I love how you guys get mad and frustrated over a stupid game with no rules, rhyme, or reason. I'm laughing my ass off. We need to mix in a few laughs here and there. Keep it up, boys. You guys are laughs.
00:22:48
Speaker 4: We all need laughs.
00:22:49
Speaker 2: 408 says, hell with talking sports. We need a deeper dive into Danny Dunn. He's a weird cat. Fairytale horror stories? Not even sort of weird. Danny makes Derek look fairly normal. Oh, come on now. By the way, Danny's giggling at that. Yeah, Danny likes that one. All right, let's get into the sounds for right here. And it starts with Draymond Green. This is after the game last night. Warriors lose by 22, 127 to 105 to the LA Lakers. And he disagrees. I was asking the question earlier about Yaxel Lindeborg, about talking trash. Does talking trash require accomplishments or just confidence from a young player like Yaxel? Draymond says he disagrees with the sentiment that rookies should not talk ass.
00:23:28
Speaker 7: There you go.
00:23:29
Speaker 6: I think, you know, everybody's going to be like, oh, man, he shouldn't talk to Luka. You should not talk to Luka.
00:23:34
Speaker 7: And I disagree with that shit 1,000%. You fucking going to talk to somebody, you talk until you can't.
00:23:42
Speaker 6: Fucking talk no more. And if you bust your ass, guess what?
00:23:45
Speaker 7: You play him again three more times, and you go back at his ass again. And then you see him the third time, and you go back at his ass again. I think in this league, everybody always be like, oh, man, certain guys you got to respect. I ain't come in this league like that with no respect.
00:23:57
Speaker 6: You unrespectful. So, you know, everybody's like, oh, man, the rookie learned his lesson. What'd he learn? The next time you see him, go.
00:24:05
Speaker 2: At his a * * again. I kind of like that, dude.
00:24:08
Speaker 5: But no, I'm not saying he can't talk to him during the game. I'm just saying afterwards, like, to put him on blast like that, to say, I lost all respect.
00:24:17
Speaker 4: For him, I don't know.
00:24:18
Speaker 5: I just think that's a little much. And Draymond, yes, he came in the league... telling people I'm here. But also, I don't remember him opening day calling out whoever the Warriors were playing.
00:24:29
Speaker 2: It's a different deal.
00:24:30
Speaker 6: Yeah.
00:24:30
Speaker 2: I just, I'm with Raymond. If you're going to talk, then just keep talking. Because once you open it, you can't go back down. And I'm a guy who likes to talk smack.
00:24:38
Speaker 6: I'm aware.
00:24:38
Speaker 2: And I'm a guy who uses smack talk, especially in moments of competition. It's something that can be a tool for you and a weapon for you. And if the other team can't overcome it or it's bothersome to them, Then by all means, continue. I remember I was on a baseball team one time. We were like 0 and 15. I was like 14 years old. We were terrible. And at one point, dude, this kid got– I was playing shortstop. This kid got to second base, and we were just like talking trash to him at second or whatever. He's running his mouth to us, and so we started talking trash to him. First game of a doubleheader. And he said to us like– he said something to me and my– the second baseman, Sergio. What up, Sergio? One of my classmates.
00:25:07
Speaker 6: Sergio.
00:25:08
Speaker 2: And he says, he was repeating you guys like 11 to 1. And he pointed at the scoreboard. He goes, scoreboard. And I said, you think I'm looking at the scoreboard? We're 0-15. I said, I haven't looked at the scoreboard in like three weeks, dude. This is all I have right now is this competition with you. And I'm saying, this is little kid trash talking all night. It has nothing to do with that. But I totally get the idea that, hey, I need to psych myself into a way to be competitive here. that the only way for me to remain competitive and on the level with this guy is to convince myself and him that I belong in this and that just because he's the greatest scorer in the world, that doesn't affect me. That's fine. It doesn't change how I'm going about it.
00:25:40
Speaker 4: Could you do that later on in your career? You got to do it right now, game one?
00:25:42
Speaker 2: I'm just saying, so what number of games? You said it's got to be years, and I'm like, I don't think it's got to be years. If you actually, what if the next time, what if this year when you actually guards, I mean, right now, Luca one for six against him when he's guarding him. And he hit that one, you know, before the half. I don't know if that's the one. It wasn't bad. It was great. It wasn't, but he didn't play poorly against him. What if after the next time they play him, Luca's a three for, for 15 against him. By all means, man, talk your ass. You can talk your mess. But again, just because you're an individual performances, there doesn't mean everybody else around you is too.
00:26:11
Speaker 4: I totally understand that.
00:26:12
Speaker 5: And also, like, yes, Yaxel was good defensively against Luka last night. I just think it's a little much in your first game. Like, when Pat Beverly would call out Steph Curry and the Warriors, I was like, dude.
00:26:21
Speaker 4: You can't talk. The Warriors own you.
00:26:24
Speaker 5: If you keep talking crap every single time you play, I'm going to tune you out. It's a different deal because Pat Beverly wasn't the best player on the Houston Rockets. With Yaxel, I'm not saying he's not going to be a great player.
00:26:35
Speaker 4: He has a ton of potential.
00:26:36
Speaker 5: I just thought it was a little much his first game, the press conference, to call out Luka.
00:26:39
Speaker 4: Doncic like that.
00:26:40
Speaker 5: By all means, in a game, say what you want to say, but to go to the podium and say, I lost all respect for him, a little much for me, I could be wrong.
00:26:49
Speaker 2: We do have to take a break. I want to get some more of the sound because we do have some good sound here in the Sound Soiree, but we've got to get to Tim Ryan, who's going to join us. Tim Ryan normally on a Friday, but we have the Dubs Roundtable tomorrow starting at 3 o'clock, 3 to 4.30 tomorrow. The Dubs Roundtable. Me, Derek, Murph, Marcus, and JD live from Harmonic Brewing in Thrive City. Tim Ryan, though, is going to join us next, and Larry Kruger at 5.15, and you'll hear from Kyle Shanahan, who joined us earlier at 5.30. But before we do all that, I've got to tell you that right now is the cue to call. Caller 10 right now to the studio. At 415-896-KNBR, he's going to win two tickets to go see Jimmy Carr, comedian at the Masonic in San Francisco, right around the corner. It's November 3rd of 2027. Yeah, over a year away. Put those things on layaway, but you can win them right now. Caller 10, 415-896-KNBR. Wins those two tickets. The prize is furnished by Live Nation. You can find the rules at thesportsleader.com. We will take a break, and when we come back, Tim Ryan, who will be on the call Sunday, Niners and the Falcons, joins us next. Dirty work Thursday, greatest show in America. Only here on Esports Leader.
00:28:05
Speaker 3: Now here's 49ers color commentator Tim Ryan on KNBR 104.5 and 680, the sports leader.
00:28:13
Speaker 2: Tim Ryan joins us each and every week talking Niner football. Normally on Fridays, today and on Thursday, we've got a short show tomorrow as the Niners get ready for a Week 7 matchup on a short week against the Atlanta Falcons. Sunday morning, 10 a.m. kickoff right here on the Sports Leader. Tim with us on the UMA guest line. What up, bro? How we doing at 6 and.
00:28:29
Speaker 6: 0, dude?
00:28:31
Speaker 3: 6-0, bro.
00:28:31
Speaker 9: Ready to get dirty. Let's go.
00:28:33
Speaker 2: Let's get dirty. Let's do it. We had Steve Young on yesterday, and he was talking about how, hey, they've played, what, 12 halves now? He said we've seen them play, and he said the one that gives them pause or gives them a little shiver is the second half. of last week's game, I feel a little bit different about it. I felt like it's less of a referendum on what this team was unable to do offensively, more a sign of what they're capable of doing defensively, and shows you more grit. I mean, this is a team that has found six different ways to win through six weeks, Tim.
00:29:03
Speaker 6: Yeah.
00:29:04
Speaker 9: No, I'm with you on that. Now, obviously, the offense had a few hiccups in the second half. In the third and fourth quarter, especially after the display they put on in the first half with over 300 yards and really moving the ball at well. Once Mike went down, there's no doubt things changed. They dialed up the heat a little bit more. Brock was a little bit off on a couple of plays and understandably. And give them some credit, they played some good defense when they had to. And I'd say the same offensively. They had some good play calls for the defense in terms of some of the coverages the 49ers were in. They did bust some coverages, did the 49er defense, which has not been a situation this year that they've done a lot of. When could you say, over the last several years, I mean, you could run the numbers, I'm sure, figure it out and go into your chat GPT or whatever you use on your phones, but When the last time going into week seven, the 49er defense was more highly ranked than the offense. And the offense right now, when you look at the 49ers, they're ninth in this total yards now. They're really good in a lot of categories, number one in a few of the critical categories, and have certainly been a juggernaut in terms of scoring in the red zone and what they've been able to do on third down. they're ninth in total yards allowed defensively. The 49ers are sitting at fifth right now on defense and also very good in some key categories in particular, you know, not, not allowing explosive plays passes of 20 plus runs of 10 plus good in the red zone. You know, they've been able to take the football away enough. Although I think that that category is going to go, go North here pretty quick with how they're playing and they got to survive some injuries. We'll see if both can go on Sunday. I think that's, Highly questionable, remains to be seen, and then Mike on the other side. But I'm with you. The way the defense played, what they had to do at the end of that game, and Jaden Daniels is a problem now. He is very accurate. He's got a big arm. We know about his dual threat with his legs, and the 49ers gave up no explosive runs to either him or the running game. Um, and, and then when they were giving up big plays, in my opinion, from watching the tape and doing the game live, it was errors in coverage, which those things have to get cleaned up, but a mono we mono and how guys played. I thought Duggar played really well. Dre Greenlaw will be back in the lineup this week, which will be huge against B. John Robinson and what they want to do in their run game. That's where it all starts fellows this weekend is it's, about shutting that run game down, especially on early downs. And remember when Bijan came to town last year, I think it was week seven, right? It was the same, right around the same time. And they had just been crowned after taking care of Buffalo and came in here. The 49ers seemed to have nobody on either side of the ball, especially on defense. And I think he had 14 carries and 40 yards in that game. And they got after Penix as well. It was a tight game really all the way down until till the end so gotta stop Bijan early gotta stop Drake London and in terms of the play action game get two guys over him as much as you can try to play physical underneath and try to body him and he does have a big body and he uses it knows how to use it and have help over the top and then see if someone else can can beat beat you on defense you know I think one thing about Atlanta is The questions have been the same, really, in terms of the narrative the last couple of seasons.
00:32:34
Speaker 6: Yes, Drake London, B.
00:32:35
Speaker 9: John Robinson, Kyle Pitts is good.
00:32:37
Speaker 2: Who else?
00:32:39
Speaker 9: John Dotson's coming off his best game, I think, in watching the tape and what he was able to do last week against Chicago. They got a new little slot receiver in Branch. Still got Zaccheaus. But at the end of the day, it's about getting Pennix into the long down-and-distance situations. When you look at his numbers... when he's in second and long versus second and, you know, four to seven, their ability to convert on third down and keep the chains moving is drastically reduced if you can, you know, bow up on first down and limit their run game and then be able to dial up some five-man pressures, some six-man pressures on Pennix. He does not have great pocket awareness. If there's a four-man rush, he is very capable of spraying the whole field accurately. He's got big-time arm talent. throws a catchable ball. But as soon as that pressure starts closing in on him, he's going to give the 49ers opportunities. He's only got one interception on the year, but they can sack him, they can knock the ball out, and he will put it up for grabs. That's the next step of the defense is seizing every opportunity they can get to get a takeaway.
00:33:46
Speaker 5: Talking to Tim Ryan on the UMA guest line, and obviously Mike Evans has been a huge addition, but the other big pickup this offseason, Osa Digizua sacks the last two weeks.
00:33:54
Speaker 4: What has he brought to this defensive line this year, Tim?
00:33:59
Speaker 9: A mentality and a mindset that was already here, but talent to back it up and durability. I mean, with that guy, he takes good angles in terms of his rushes. He's a good run defender. He's got long arms. He can finish on the quarterback. You know, unfortunately, he had the late hit, but he's a veteran that knows how to play. And you can see that his dedication... and his work ethic and just showing the other guys how to do it. And you see it with all the young guys and how they're playing. So he has been a huge addition, covered him enough in Dallas to know that he was going to be a, an upgrade on the interior. And, you know, as advertised, he's about what I thought he would be, which is a problem for most offenses when they're rushing the passer, especially with how Raheem is doing it now with a lot of five man rushes. Cause they're, you know, and that's the thing I love about the defense is a five man front and If they're in five-man protections and they let the running back and the tight end get out, which people have traditionally done against the 49ers unless the four-man rush is really hot, which it hasn't been for health issues over the last few seasons, you've got one-on-ones across the board. Then they start working their twist games. They start attacking which way the center is going to go. Is he going this way? Is he going to help over here? Is Romello coming or dropping? Is Duggar coming or dropping? I mean, there's just– it adds more to the rush and the ability to just sync up your five-man rush right away. So you get those guys one-on-ones and Osa being a big one, they're going to win their fair share. And that defensive line has absolutely been hunting the last couple of games without question. I'm telling you, the Romello-Height hat-trick game of three sacks is not that far off. that guy's playing at a different speed than everybody else.
00:35:44
Speaker 2: I don't disagree. He's hit a gear in the last couple of weeks specifically since coming off of the injury. I know he missed the time getting the club put on and all that, but he has looked really, really good. Tim Ryan with us on the UMA guest line. Tim, what has stood out to you most about Malik Mustafa's development?
00:36:00
Speaker 9: Oh, well, I think one thing people don't understand about Malik is how intelligent he is, how well-read he is in terms of just general intelligence.
00:36:10
Speaker 6: He is a smart guy.
00:36:12
Speaker 9: And then to watch how he works and putting in the extra time in the film room with Fred and all those guys and listening, you know, and just tapping into that information and using that resource of how to watch Tate, what to look for, the addition of Jerry Gray on the back end and obviously Raheem and got a PhD in coverage and teaching those guys. Ray Brown does a good job, but you guys know I've waved Jerry's flag repeatedly in terms of how he's just bringing up the football intelligence of all those guys in terms of anticipating big picture what the opponent's trying to do. So we all see the train wrecks, right? We all see the collisions. We all see the mindset. I was on the field the other day talking to Aikman. Aikman, the other day, we were talking, he's all, tell me about Malik Mustafa. I told him, I said, well, what you see is what you get. I said, but people don't know, is he smart? He's this, he's that. And Troy's like, man, I've seen a lot of safety, especially in today's game. I Tim, I've never seen a guy like him that plays as violent and as reckless with a mindset that he plays with. He goes, he's like a crash dummy. I go, he's no dummy. I promise you that. He goes, but just the way that he gets after it. And then Troy introduced me to John Madden's grandson, who's coaching for the commanders. He said, hey, this is Madden's grandson. He goes, tell Tim what you told me. He goes, My grandpa was still alive. I can promise you Malik Mustafa would be on the all Madden team.
00:37:38
Speaker 2: You're damn right.
00:37:39
Speaker 6: He would be.
00:37:40
Speaker 9: So his growth and development has been obvious. It's just been, you know, the last couple of seasons, he's, I think he ended his rookie year with the torn ACL. Then last year, some, some challenges with, with health. So he's just going to get better and better, man. I don't think there's any question about that. Just by the way that he studies, the way that he works and, how it matches up with his skill set, which is all gas, foot on the gas pedal, zero to 100 miles an hour in about two steps.
00:38:06
Speaker 2: Go ahead.
00:38:07
Speaker 5: A couple more minutes with Tim Ryan on the UMA guest line. Just, Tim, last year Christian McCaffrey ran well against the Falcons to the tune of, I think, 129 yards. Considering the wide receiver injuries and the Falcons secondary, do you see this maybe being more of a McCaffrey and Kittle type of game?
00:38:22
Speaker 9: I definitely see it as that type of game. I mean, what did Christian have last year, week seven, 201 total yards running and, and receiving, they ran for 174 on them that night. That was the first game. If I remember the run game finally clicked for the 49ers. Like I said about Romello earlier, I'll say it about the run game. The run game is really close. You guys to have in one of those days where you're going to look up and it's going to be close to 40 runs or 40 runs for close to 200 yards. To be able to do it against this defense I think would be remarkable when you look at what they're doing. They've got a good defensive line. They are challenged inside linebacker with youth and with injuries. We'll see if either one of those guys can go in terms of their starters. Very good pass defenders at safety from watching the tape. Not great run defenders. They're pretty good out on the corners at defending the run. But I think it's going to be one of those games where the ground and pound, when you say what you just said about about the receiver core and if Mike especially if Mike can go I think it's one of those games where you look at the stats and you say maybe they're not going to be able to run it on these guys when I watch the tape and then look at how this all offensive line is played from the opening kick to what they're doing right now and how the backs are, you know, week after week fitting into that run game and in terms of finding the open grass, I think it's, I think it's one of those games where the run game could get going, and they'll need it to. Look, a run game's got to travel. Your defense has got to travel, and I think both are ready to make the move right now. It's going to be a tough week. Short week, Eastern time zone. I'm listening to Johnny Lund this morning. They haven't won there other than a playoff game since 2001. They're going to wear those red helmets that they wore last time the 49ers were there when we could not stop their outside zone and their zone run game in Mariota, but This is a different defense, and I think rising to the occasion is going to be what's needed here on Sunday in Atlanta.
00:40:20
Speaker 2: We talked to Kyle earlier, and he said Christian Kirk could potentially be back this week. He said he's trending towards that. He said he had to look at the tape from practice today. But just in the time you've covered the league, and he's been around, we saw him in the division for a number of years. What is he going to bring to the offense? Because we haven't seen him on the field yet.
00:40:34
Speaker 9: Yeah, well, we saw his first-ever touchdown at Levi's in the opener. Remember when Josh Rosen rolled out and hit him deep on his very first NFL game?
00:40:42
Speaker 2: Pro play.
00:40:45
Speaker 9: You know, I'll be honest with you, and I've seen him work tirelessly over on the side trying to get himself healthy. He hasn't been healthy, really.
00:40:52
Speaker 6: I don't know.
00:40:53
Speaker 9: Has he had a handful of practices with this?
00:40:55
Speaker 2: I think barely. Yeah, I think like three or four, man.
00:40:57
Speaker 9: Yeah, and that's all the way back to OTA. So the calf has been a problem for a long time. Hopefully he's going to be ready to go. He certainly still has some juice left just in watching him and watching him this week at practice. So they're going to need him. I hope he gets a uniform. The guy knows how to play. He's a nine-year veteran. He's got well over 400 catches. I think the challenge is going to be, because he hasn't had a lot of practice time, is he synced up in terms of his route tempo and getting to those windows at the right time when Brock's ready to unload it. Timing with the quarterback, I think, would be the biggest challenge of going into a game like that. But he's certainly got the resume to be able to show up and go make things happen, and they're going to need him to probably.
00:41:40
Speaker 2: Tim Ryan, the voice you hear on the UMA guest line. He'll be on the call Sunday with Guy Haberman from Atlanta to wrap up the Niners' first seven games before the bye. 10 a.m. kickoff right here on The Sports Leader. Tim, great catching up, man. Enjoy the trip out there, and we'll talk to you on Sunday on pregame.
00:41:54
Speaker 6: Later, T-Rock.
00:41:54
Speaker 9: 7-0, bro. Let's freaking go.
00:41:56
Speaker 6: Good to talk to you guys.
00:41:57
Speaker 2: You too, bro. The great Tim Ryan. If you missed any of that, all available at thesportsleader.com, the The Sports Leader app, and the The Sports Leader website. YouTube channel. Somebody hit me on the text line saying that the YouTube page was down. I guess we weren't streaming. Are we back up and running, guys? We're back up. Danny says we are back up and running.
00:42:11
Speaker 4: When did we lose it?
00:42:12
Speaker 2: I don't know. Not really sure. Not sure.
00:42:14
Speaker 6: Mr.
00:42:15
Speaker 2: Cambio.
00:42:15
Speaker 4: Better not be during the dips, I tell you.
00:42:17
Speaker 7: Mr.
00:42:17
Speaker 2: Cambio, how about you come back from the 40s and get us back up.
00:42:21
Speaker 7: And running?
00:42:21
Speaker 4: Speaking of the 40s, you see the Atlanta Falcons today?
00:42:24
Speaker 6: No.
00:42:25
Speaker 2: Oh, dude. Their new flag? Yeah, dude.
00:42:27
Speaker 5: They changed their profile picture pretty quickly today.
00:42:30
Speaker 2: They said new profile pic, and they had a flag hanging behind them, and everybody's like, boy, it's like the Atlanta Reich.
00:42:34
Speaker 4: Yeah, that's the Bird Reich.
00:42:36
Speaker 2: Yeah, that's... I stole that one. I stole that one. I stole that one. The Falcons, bro.
00:42:43
Speaker 6: Oh, no, dude.
00:42:44
Speaker 2: I forgot to ask Tim Ryan. Is it Penix or Penix? Oh, come on, man. I forgot, man.
00:42:48
Speaker 4: No time for jokes, Copes.
00:42:49
Speaker 2: Dirty work on a thing. Come on, bro. We know it's Penix, bro. We'll take a quick break. When we come back, one of our favorites, dude. A man who puts in more words per minute than anybody. on the sports leader, especially in football season, Yaxel and the board, dude, we're going to talk. We'll talk some Yax with Kruger Kruger. You hear him weeknights, six to seven. You'll hear him tonight. Six to seven on the sports leader with Niners nightly. You got the 49er forecast on Saturday, wherever you get your Krug, but that place is here next dirty work with Kruger next on the sports leader.

00:42:11
Speaker 4: When did we lose it?
00:42:12
Speaker 2: I don't know. Not really sure. Not sure.
00:42:14
Speaker 6: Mr.
00:42:15
Speaker 2: Cambio.
00:42:15
Speaker 4: Better not be during the dips, I tell you.
00:42:17
Speaker 7: Mr.
