SOBRE ESTE EPISÓDIO
This week on Dear Young Queen: The Podcast, your hosts Ashley Weatherspoon and Alexis Stoudemire are coming to you live from #CasaLex with the remarkable Miami legend herself, @YesJulz.
Tune in as she candidly shares her journey of motherhood. Just days after her engagement, Julz found out she was pregnant and just a few weeks after that, she found out the baby she was carrying had developed a birth defect called Gastroschisis. Against all odds, she chose to keep her baby and defy any possible challenges that might come her way. Now, she shares the miraculous story of her child's birth and her incredible growth as a happy, healthy baby.
The ladies dive into Julz's early days in the entertainment industry, tracing her evolution from a table host at one of the hottest nightclubs in the country to the visionary founder of her own agency, YesJulz Agency, a venture that seamlessly transformed into the inspiring 1am Productions.
Julz also opens up about the highs and lows of her career. Breaking artist 070 Shake was both a triumph and a setback for her, and honestly, a moment in time that she's still healing from. However, through it all she found solace in the wisdom of Kanye West, who reminded her that life's challenges are opportunities in disguise.
Discover how Julz turned industry disappointments into opportunities for creative resilience. Her story is a testament to the power of perseverance, reminding us that failure is just a stepping stone to success.
