SOBRE ESTE EPISÓDIO
Dave B and Dave D are waiting for your messages!
We're back and firing on all cylinders with our first episode of 2026.
Our main interview is with Mike Mason, the man behind Mason Brewing Co. Based in Cornwall, Mike produces exceptional beers, and we are predicting a big future for him and his brewery! As if by magic, he has opened up a webshop this week so you can get hold of his wonderful beers and roadtest them yourself - and you can grab yourself an exclusive discount by using the promo code DAFTABOUTCRAFT when you place an order.
Many people regard Titanic Brewery's Plum Porter as the gold standard for that particular beer style. However, it's far from the only plum porter on the market, so how do other traditional plum porters compare, plus the craft beer takes on the style? We find out with an extensive tasting to see just who might have the best plum porter.
Ben Gibbs from the Sober Boozers Club pops in with an update on the alcohol-free scene, reflecting on Dry January and highlighting some of the beers that have been grabbing his attention and those he's looking forward to trying during the weeks ahead.
From The Fridge features a mystery beer for Dave D and a doorstop special for Dave B, plus we also get to hear all about Dave D's first ever trip to one of the beer capitals of the world, Bruges.
We're delighted to be backed by Craft Brew Festival, curators of a unique beer festival tour across Britain.
