SOBRE ESTE EPISÓDIO
Why do some people keep ending up in the same kind of relationship with a different person?
In Episode 3 of the Love in the Age of AI series, Sam Adams explores the patterns behind attraction, chemistry, and repeated relationship choices.
Sometimes what feels familiar is not necessarily healthy. A person may say they want peace, consistency, and commitment, yet continue choosing partners who are emotionally unavailable, unpredictable, or difficult to trust.
This episode examines the difference between chemistry and compatibility, why red flags are often explained away, and how unresolved patterns can influence who we are attracted to.
Sam also explores an important new question: what happens when dating algorithms learn those patterns and begin showing us more of the same?
Artificial intelligence can observe our choices, but it cannot determine whether those choices are good for us. Technology may recognize what gets our attention, but self-awareness, healing, wisdom, and boundaries are still necessary to break unhealthy cycles.
A different relationship may not begin with finding a different person.
It may begin with recognizing the pattern within ourselves.
