00:00:01.240 --> 00:00:17.399
We'll keep American. Great, keep America. You keep America, We'll
3
00:00:17.519 --> 00:00:34.679
keep it America. Good day.
4
00:00:42.520 --> 00:00:45.200
Welcome to the Bob Americ Saper American Podcast. Moname is
5
00:00:45.240 --> 00:00:48.119
Bob Zadlod. Hey, my name Jack Phoebe. Thank you all,
6
00:00:48.320 --> 00:00:50.439
Thank you all for being here. I hope everyone had
7
00:00:50.439 --> 00:00:54.439
a very merry Christmas. How's your Christmas was good?
8
00:00:55.719 --> 00:00:56.000
Okay?
9
00:00:56.159 --> 00:01:01.079
Yeah, yeah, the weather is beautiful. Had a wonderful Christmas.
10
00:01:01.079 --> 00:01:03.560
And the thing I love about it this year and
11
00:01:03.600 --> 00:01:07.159
it just seems to be everybody's saying Merry Christmas, like
12
00:01:07.319 --> 00:01:11.359
nobody's saying. Sometimes they'll say happy Holidays, but my response
13
00:01:11.439 --> 00:01:13.640
is always Merry Christmas. And then they like let their
14
00:01:13.640 --> 00:01:16.719
guard down, go oh, merry Christmas. But I mean that's
15
00:01:16.799 --> 00:01:19.159
like people are saying that again. Man. We I want
16
00:01:19.200 --> 00:01:21.840
to take a minute because there's so much infighting and
17
00:01:21.840 --> 00:01:26.519
complaining and I think the problem with just the culture
18
00:01:26.519 --> 00:01:29.519
in which we live is everything is so immediate, everything
19
00:01:29.560 --> 00:01:32.719
is so instant gratification oriented, that we don't take enough
20
00:01:32.760 --> 00:01:36.599
time to appreciate what we've done. And we can complain
21
00:01:36.640 --> 00:01:38.400
and we can sit in our little echo chambers go well,
22
00:01:38.400 --> 00:01:40.599
this isn't done, and that isn't done. But look where
23
00:01:40.599 --> 00:01:42.519
we were last year or last year Donald Trump had
24
00:01:42.560 --> 00:01:45.280
not been inaugurated yet, we were still in the Biden era.
25
00:01:45.840 --> 00:01:49.280
In the last year, you know, inflation has come down tremendously,
26
00:01:49.359 --> 00:01:51.799
not enough, I mean costs or not. I'll get to
27
00:01:51.840 --> 00:01:54.000
that in a minute. Costs are not where they should be,
28
00:01:54.120 --> 00:01:56.120
but they are coming down. We are making progress in
29
00:01:56.120 --> 00:02:00.000
the right direction to the border. The border. If Donald
30
00:02:00.079 --> 00:02:03.359
Trump's only first year accomplishment was the border, that would
31
00:02:03.400 --> 00:02:06.159
be enough. I mean, think about it, Bob, think about it.
32
00:02:06.359 --> 00:02:09.000
Last year and the year before that was the pre
33
00:02:09.039 --> 00:02:11.879
eminent issue of his twenty twenty four campaign was the border.
34
00:02:11.919 --> 00:02:15.000
The border is out of control. Ninety one hundred thousand
35
00:02:15.039 --> 00:02:20.840
people crossing a month. It's down to zero zero amazing months.
36
00:02:21.960 --> 00:02:25.000
We said that he did in his second term. He
37
00:02:25.080 --> 00:02:27.719
did with the border. What he did with isis in
38
00:02:27.719 --> 00:02:29.879
his first year. Remember isis here. He eradicated them in
39
00:02:29.919 --> 00:02:39.639
ten months. Yeah, they my poor dude. I may get
40
00:02:39.639 --> 00:02:41.960
to retire one day. I mean, my portfolio is headed
41
00:02:42.039 --> 00:02:45.960
in the right direction. It's a beautiful thing to see. Obviously,
42
00:02:46.000 --> 00:02:48.560
there's a lot to be done, but there will always
43
00:02:48.599 --> 00:02:50.439
be a lot to be done. People. Thinking that you're
44
00:02:50.479 --> 00:02:53.360
going to find perfection, let alone from your elected leaders,
45
00:02:53.400 --> 00:02:56.000
is silly. There's always going to be places where we
46
00:02:56.000 --> 00:02:59.360
can improve upon. I think Pam Bundy's got to step
47
00:02:59.400 --> 00:03:01.800
it up. Satisfied with the job that she's done at
48
00:03:01.800 --> 00:03:03.400
the DOJ in her first year, i'd like to see
49
00:03:03.439 --> 00:03:06.520
her doing more, certainly with respect to what we're what.
50
00:03:08.240 --> 00:03:11.840
Your fat ass of New York, Will you arrest anybody
51
00:03:11.919 --> 00:03:12.240
right now?
52
00:03:12.280 --> 00:03:17.800
It's it's just going to be, well, what I'm what
53
00:03:17.840 --> 00:03:22.159
I'm thinking of specifically, And what's really got me upset
54
00:03:22.479 --> 00:03:24.800
is you're paying attention to what's going on in Minnesota.
55
00:03:25.599 --> 00:03:28.719
Yeah yeah, Jesus.
56
00:03:29.479 --> 00:03:35.439
Okay, So well, let me let me take a second
57
00:03:35.439 --> 00:03:38.560
here because I want to give credit where credit is due.
58
00:03:38.800 --> 00:03:42.680
There's a young YouTuber. The guy's like twenty three years old,
59
00:03:43.280 --> 00:03:46.120
Nick Shirley, Nick Shirley. If you're not following Nick Shirley
60
00:03:46.120 --> 00:03:49.479
on x at Nick Shirley, and that's what two why's
61
00:03:50.479 --> 00:03:53.039
he's a YouTuber. He's a twenty three year old kid,
62
00:03:53.360 --> 00:03:56.520
and he went and he exposed the Minnesota fraud like
63
00:03:56.759 --> 00:04:01.680
no professional journalist has even come close to doing. Remarkable.
64
00:04:04.000 --> 00:04:07.840
So here's the thing. Okay, so these programs in Minnesota,
65
00:04:07.879 --> 00:04:10.000
it's a perfectly run scam when you look at it.
66
00:04:10.719 --> 00:04:13.560
So and again, I want to get to in a second,
67
00:04:13.599 --> 00:04:15.599
like where the organization is coming from, because I don't
68
00:04:15.599 --> 00:04:18.079
think these are immigrants that are coming here and starting
69
00:04:18.120 --> 00:04:20.360
the scams. I think these are people that are praying
70
00:04:20.360 --> 00:04:22.879
and using the immigrants to perpetuate the scams, who are
71
00:04:23.079 --> 00:04:25.360
just as culpable and are in on it. But I
72
00:04:25.360 --> 00:04:27.399
don't think it's coming from them. I think you have
73
00:04:27.600 --> 00:04:30.319
a lot of organizers who are local who know how
74
00:04:30.360 --> 00:04:33.120
to manipulate the federal and state government because medicare all
75
00:04:33.120 --> 00:04:36.199
these state programs, all these federal programs are so easy
76
00:04:36.199 --> 00:04:38.920
to manipulate. I mean, you saw that during COVID, the PPP,
77
00:04:39.160 --> 00:04:43.959
the Paycheck Protecting Program, the EIDLD, those programs, and oh
78
00:04:44.040 --> 00:04:46.240
my god, I have a business. I have one hundred employees,
79
00:04:46.519 --> 00:04:48.639
I make one hundred thousand dollars in revenue a month.
80
00:04:48.680 --> 00:04:50.680
Help me out. Oh, here's a check for a million dollars,
81
00:04:50.959 --> 00:04:53.240
like it happened. I mean. One of the reasons why
82
00:04:53.639 --> 00:04:56.959
we saw the inflation, we saw the economy stumble the
83
00:04:56.959 --> 00:04:59.639
way it did in the early twenty twenties was primarily
84
00:04:59.639 --> 00:05:01.600
because of COVID and certainly the way the government was
85
00:05:01.600 --> 00:05:03.839
just writing check out check to anyone who demanded it.
86
00:05:04.079 --> 00:05:07.600
But that being said, so in Minnesota, so Somali immigrants
87
00:05:07.600 --> 00:05:11.279
have been targeted and they come here and people say, hey,
88
00:05:11.759 --> 00:05:14.120
we can get you money. Do you have an autistic child?
89
00:05:14.319 --> 00:05:18.199
Oh yeah, sure, check the box. Then they have these
90
00:05:18.240 --> 00:05:20.439
programs set up. And what this guy, Nick Shirley did
91
00:05:20.480 --> 00:05:23.600
is he went to these addresses, these business addresses, and
92
00:05:23.639 --> 00:05:27.279
it's literally like a warehouse that says like children's learning center,
93
00:05:27.279 --> 00:05:30.480
except it's all misspelled, like stapled up to the front door,
94
00:05:30.519 --> 00:05:33.079
like okay, you say here on your federal filings, you
95
00:05:33.120 --> 00:05:35.519
have seventy five children you take care of. There's no
96
00:05:35.560 --> 00:05:37.879
one here. And what they do is they say, we
97
00:05:37.959 --> 00:05:40.959
have seventy five children, We're a learning center for the
98
00:05:40.959 --> 00:05:46.240
Somali community and the federal government. Because that's what they do.
99
00:05:46.839 --> 00:05:51.360
Here's four million dollars. Now you and I are paying
100
00:05:51.439 --> 00:05:55.399
for that, bob. When in ten days, less than ten days,
101
00:05:55.680 --> 00:05:58.879
the year is over, we start over at zero. And
102
00:05:58.920 --> 00:06:00.800
that means that you got to start going back in
103
00:06:00.839 --> 00:06:02.439
your books, and you've got to calculate, and you got
104
00:06:02.480 --> 00:06:04.319
to get with your accountant to figure out how much
105
00:06:04.360 --> 00:06:07.399
do I owe the US government for the hard work
106
00:06:07.439 --> 00:06:10.480
for the labor I expended in twenty twenty five. And
107
00:06:10.560 --> 00:06:12.639
the government's going to come and take a big fat
108
00:06:12.720 --> 00:06:16.480
bite out of your paycheck to pay for the fraud
109
00:06:16.879 --> 00:06:19.560
that these people are committing that have no stake in
110
00:06:19.600 --> 00:06:26.319
this country to begin with. They have no stake the idea, Bob, I.
111
00:06:26.519 --> 00:06:29.360
There's an issue that conservatives are debating right now. There's
112
00:06:29.399 --> 00:06:33.120
a big kind of infighting going on in the conservative community.
113
00:06:33.360 --> 00:06:36.959
Have you heard about the concept of heritage Americans? Have
114
00:06:37.040 --> 00:06:39.680
you heard about that? What that is? Yes? Okay, so
115
00:06:39.800 --> 00:06:44.759
there's a different whether you know if you have more
116
00:06:45.519 --> 00:06:48.879
strongly grounded roots in America, do you have a greater
117
00:06:49.120 --> 00:06:52.120
steak or are you considered to be more American than
118
00:06:52.120 --> 00:06:54.160
the next person. I've been thinking about that a lot,
119
00:06:55.199 --> 00:06:57.959
and I want to flip the script. Let's think about
120
00:06:58.000 --> 00:07:00.920
it this way. I wake up tomorrow morning and I
121
00:07:00.959 --> 00:07:02.759
say I've had enough of the US. I want to
122
00:07:02.800 --> 00:07:06.560
move to Japan. And I apply to Japan, and I
123
00:07:06.680 --> 00:07:08.360
get a property and I start going through the process
124
00:07:08.399 --> 00:07:13.279
of citizenship. Am I'm more Japanese or do I have
125
00:07:13.319 --> 00:07:16.959
a stake a vested interest in the nation, like a
126
00:07:17.000 --> 00:07:19.439
family that's been there like a thousand years that goes
127
00:07:19.480 --> 00:07:22.079
back to the Samurai period. Like am I a heritage
128
00:07:22.439 --> 00:07:27.040
Japanese person? I don't think. I don't believe that that
129
00:07:27.120 --> 00:07:31.680
gives me the same standing as somebody who's got deeply
130
00:07:31.800 --> 00:07:34.399
vested root in the country. If I move to the
131
00:07:34.439 --> 00:07:37.959
Middle East, you know some family that's been there for
132
00:07:38.000 --> 00:07:42.040
two thousand years. Am I a greater Afghan or a
133
00:07:42.079 --> 00:07:45.079
greater Saudi Arabian or a greater whatever than them? And
134
00:07:45.120 --> 00:07:48.680
I'm not saying that you can't come here and be American.
135
00:07:48.720 --> 00:07:50.240
And of course you have the same rights you have.
136
00:07:50.839 --> 00:07:52.519
You become a citizen, you have the right to vote,
137
00:07:52.519 --> 00:07:54.800
you have the right to engage in the process of
138
00:07:54.800 --> 00:07:56.639
being an American just like the rest of us, which,
139
00:07:56.720 --> 00:07:58.959
mind you, does not exist really anywhere in the world.
140
00:07:59.279 --> 00:08:01.120
If you were to move to Mexico tomorrow, you can
141
00:08:01.160 --> 00:08:02.920
become a Mexican citizen. Bob, you can never own a
142
00:08:02.920 --> 00:08:04.800
piece of property there because you weren't born in Mexico.
143
00:08:05.240 --> 00:08:07.959
There are very strict immigrants in other countries. We are
144
00:08:08.000 --> 00:08:10.759
the most leany was generous on earth. And I have
145
00:08:10.839 --> 00:08:13.680
to think like if you're here, like if your ancestors
146
00:08:13.680 --> 00:08:17.040
came over on a mayflower, I want to say, you
147
00:08:17.079 --> 00:08:19.160
have a little bit more steak in this country than
148
00:08:19.199 --> 00:08:22.360
someone who's you know, great grandparents came here. I'm and
149
00:08:22.399 --> 00:08:24.720
I'm speaking against my own interests because I have both
150
00:08:24.920 --> 00:08:26.639
on both sides. On one side of my family, we've
151
00:08:26.680 --> 00:08:28.920
been here since the sixteen hundreds. On the other side
152
00:08:28.959 --> 00:08:32.840
of the two generations removed from immigrants. So I kind
153
00:08:32.840 --> 00:08:35.799
of feel that way that I think the more you
154
00:08:35.879 --> 00:08:38.799
have vested in a country, the longer you've been here,
155
00:08:39.159 --> 00:08:42.120
the deeper your roots are. I tend to think you
156
00:08:42.159 --> 00:08:45.320
have just a little more of a vested interest and
157
00:08:45.360 --> 00:08:47.440
maybe a little more steak in this country than someone
158
00:08:47.440 --> 00:08:49.559
who's newer. I just think that that kind of goes
159
00:08:49.679 --> 00:08:51.840
without saying for anywhere you are in the world. But
160
00:08:51.919 --> 00:08:55.799
what is I don't have a problem. What it means
161
00:08:55.840 --> 00:09:00.399
is the idea that anybody can just come here and
162
00:09:01.240 --> 00:09:05.919
they're automatically American, that anyone can just come here no
163
00:09:06.000 --> 00:09:08.440
matter what and just like set foot on American soil,
164
00:09:08.600 --> 00:09:10.879
like you're as American as a family that's been here
165
00:09:10.919 --> 00:09:14.840
since the day's the Pilgrims. I don't necessarily think that's true.
166
00:09:15.159 --> 00:09:18.519
And also when we look at how immigration is coming
167
00:09:18.519 --> 00:09:20.440
in the modern era as opposed to how it was
168
00:09:20.480 --> 00:09:22.399
one hundred hundred and fifty years ago. We've had waves
169
00:09:22.399 --> 00:09:26.200
of immigration in this country for a very long time,
170
00:09:26.519 --> 00:09:28.360
and it's always been the idea of people coming here
171
00:09:28.360 --> 00:09:30.519
for a better life. But they were coming here. We
172
00:09:30.600 --> 00:09:33.759
talked about this at nausea, people coming here to be
173
00:09:34.000 --> 00:09:38.639
part of America. Assimilation was the assimilation was a key
174
00:09:38.679 --> 00:09:43.159
factor in success, a key factor in how you would do.
175
00:09:43.240 --> 00:09:47.000
And it was also not only on the immigrant community
176
00:09:47.039 --> 00:09:50.759
coming here. We impose that upon the immigrants coming here,
177
00:09:50.799 --> 00:09:54.919
you will assimilate. What can you provide? We had skills tests,
178
00:09:55.320 --> 00:09:57.120
What can you provide? Are you going to be a
179
00:09:57.159 --> 00:09:59.279
positive for us? Or are you going to be a drain?
180
00:09:59.360 --> 00:10:02.360
Are you going to be a burden? And we've lost
181
00:10:02.639 --> 00:10:07.080
we've lost that where we're inviting people here and applying
182
00:10:07.159 --> 00:10:10.840
them with assistance. Look at the sheer numbers. Okay, if
183
00:10:10.840 --> 00:10:13.720
you take the Somali community, take the eighty thousand Somalians
184
00:10:13.759 --> 00:10:16.600
that are in Minnesota, and you look at what they
185
00:10:16.639 --> 00:10:19.320
pay into the tax system as opposed to what they've
186
00:10:19.360 --> 00:10:22.759
taken out through public assistance and fraud. They are a
187
00:10:23.039 --> 00:10:27.320
net drain on the Minnesota and American economy just by
188
00:10:27.320 --> 00:10:30.519
the sheer numbers. That's not making any comment about where
189
00:10:30.559 --> 00:10:33.200
they're from, just as an immigrant group, when we look
190
00:10:33.240 --> 00:10:36.399
at what are you contributed? Because everyone tells us diversity
191
00:10:36.440 --> 00:10:39.600
is your strength. Diversity makes us great. Okay, where is
192
00:10:39.639 --> 00:10:43.080
that strength? Where is that greatness? If you're eighty thousand
193
00:10:43.120 --> 00:10:46.559
of you were here committing nine billion dollars worth of fraud,
194
00:10:47.759 --> 00:10:50.240
but your tax base you're only paying on average about
195
00:10:50.240 --> 00:10:52.879
eight hundred dollars a person, where the average American is
196
00:10:52.919 --> 00:10:56.600
paying eight to ten thousand. Where where is that strength?
197
00:10:56.639 --> 00:11:01.559
Where is that greatness coming from? And I want, but
198
00:11:01.679 --> 00:11:04.120
I want there has to be a cultural shift in
199
00:11:04.159 --> 00:11:06.480
this country. I think we're in the right direction where
200
00:11:06.879 --> 00:11:11.080
we have a right to say we don't want you here.
201
00:11:11.639 --> 00:11:16.639
You've proven that you're not going to contribute. Your absolute
202
00:11:16.720 --> 00:11:22.120
refusal to assimilate, the sheer level of fraud that's perpetrated
203
00:11:22.480 --> 00:11:24.879
by your community, the number of people in your community
204
00:11:24.919 --> 00:11:28.919
that are seeking public assistance, it's not doing us any good.
205
00:11:29.919 --> 00:11:35.559
We're not We're not a place where you can come
206
00:11:36.240 --> 00:11:39.559
and you can just live off public assistance. We can't
207
00:11:39.600 --> 00:11:42.679
be that, we can't just be like the waste reciprocal
208
00:11:42.759 --> 00:11:45.480
of the world. And I know everyone, like the Democrats,
209
00:11:45.480 --> 00:11:46.960
always like to go, oh, give us, you're tired and
210
00:11:46.960 --> 00:11:50.519
you're poor, your huddle masses. Americans are tired. Americans are poor.
211
00:11:51.039 --> 00:11:56.240
Americans are huddle masses yearning for Where's that American dream
212
00:11:56.279 --> 00:11:59.960
that we were promised. Where's that American dream for American kids?
213
00:12:00.720 --> 00:12:04.600
This is our country, this is our country, and we
214
00:12:04.639 --> 00:12:06.559
are not in existence for the rest of the world
215
00:12:06.600 --> 00:12:10.679
to come and take complete advantage on our dime. And
216
00:12:11.000 --> 00:12:15.080
I think immigration quotas, I think moratoriums. I think that's
217
00:12:15.120 --> 00:12:17.679
where we need to go because it's not a matter
218
00:12:17.759 --> 00:12:19.519
of what you look like. I don't think anyone looks
219
00:12:19.519 --> 00:12:22.120
at another human being in the modern era looks at
220
00:12:22.120 --> 00:12:23.960
someone's skin color and goes, oh, I don't like you
221
00:12:24.000 --> 00:12:27.240
because your skin is that shade. That's old world bullshit
222
00:12:27.279 --> 00:12:30.799
that doesn't exist anymore. It's when eighty thousand of you
223
00:12:30.919 --> 00:12:34.559
from one particular place are responsible for nine billion dollars
224
00:12:34.559 --> 00:12:37.879
worth of fraud. Where's that greatness that we were promised?
225
00:12:37.879 --> 00:12:41.639
Where's that benefit? Is it? The food? Is the food
226
00:12:41.679 --> 00:12:46.080
really that good. You give me a break. I mean,
227
00:12:47.440 --> 00:12:50.960
it's not sustainable, Bob. That's the issue that we run into.
228
00:12:51.039 --> 00:12:54.679
It's not sustainable. We're at forty trillion dollars in debt.
229
00:12:54.840 --> 00:12:57.519
How far does it go? And that forty trillion dollars,
230
00:12:57.600 --> 00:13:00.559
mind you, that hasn't come over to undred and fifty
231
00:13:00.600 --> 00:13:03.919
year period that we were at about three trillion in
232
00:13:04.000 --> 00:13:06.919
nineteen ninety five. Where did the remainder of that come.
233
00:13:06.960 --> 00:13:09.080
That's been in about the last twenty twenty five years,
234
00:13:09.320 --> 00:13:13.320
really escalating in about the last ten. We just don't
235
00:13:13.360 --> 00:13:16.279
have enough resources. We don't have enough to take care
236
00:13:16.320 --> 00:13:19.600
of the world. I've said it for so long, and
237
00:13:19.720 --> 00:13:23.320
even Republicans man can happen for this. I would fully
238
00:13:23.360 --> 00:13:26.720
if I were king of this country, I would issue
239
00:13:26.759 --> 00:13:32.879
a decree non negotiable, cannot be challenged, twenty year moratorium
240
00:13:32.919 --> 00:13:40.799
on all immigration. All immigration. Call me can be a cruel, unfair, heartless.
241
00:13:42.559 --> 00:13:45.120
I don't care if you're coming from Norway. I don't
242
00:13:45.159 --> 00:13:48.039
care if you're coming from Nigeria. I don't care what
243
00:13:48.080 --> 00:13:50.519
you look like. I don't care your background. I don't
244
00:13:50.559 --> 00:13:54.519
care who your parents are. No no means no America
245
00:13:54.639 --> 00:14:00.559
is closed. Twenty years so we can one implement importation
246
00:14:00.720 --> 00:14:02.960
of those who should not be here, get rid of
247
00:14:02.960 --> 00:14:05.960
the criminals, get rid of the illegals, try to recoup
248
00:14:05.960 --> 00:14:08.000
our losses the best we can kind of get back
249
00:14:08.039 --> 00:14:13.679
on level playing field. Eliminate the fraud, pay down our debt,
250
00:14:14.039 --> 00:14:17.399
take care of our veterans, take care of Americans. God,
251
00:14:17.639 --> 00:14:19.960
I'm sitting here sounding like a damn socialist. Bobs and
252
00:14:20.039 --> 00:14:23.399
take care of Americans. Government, take care of the Americans.
253
00:14:23.519 --> 00:14:25.600
Take care of the people who have sacrificed their lives,
254
00:14:25.679 --> 00:14:29.200
their limbs, their mental health to preserve the freedoms that
255
00:14:29.240 --> 00:14:32.559
we take for granted. And once we do that, then
256
00:14:32.600 --> 00:14:38.679
we can reevaluate. Okay, back to basics. And again note
257
00:14:39.200 --> 00:14:41.519
the argument that always comes, well, who's going to do
258
00:14:41.559 --> 00:14:43.919
the who's going to clean my house, who's going to
259
00:14:44.000 --> 00:14:48.080
pick the lettuce? You know what we we talked about
260
00:14:48.080 --> 00:14:50.600
it for twenty five thirty years. Well, for first of all,
261
00:14:50.799 --> 00:14:54.200
you know a lot of those jobs, the Amazon warehouse jobs,
262
00:14:54.639 --> 00:14:58.000
a lot of the agricultural jobs are being automated. Of course,
263
00:14:58.679 --> 00:15:00.519
automation is going to do a way with a lot
264
00:15:00.559 --> 00:15:04.759
of that in due time. The other jobs, I mean, look,
265
00:15:05.120 --> 00:15:06.960
if you want to have a guest worker program. I've
266
00:15:06.960 --> 00:15:08.279
always been in favor of that. I'm always that we
267
00:15:08.279 --> 00:15:09.879
should have a guest worker program. You want to bring
268
00:15:09.879 --> 00:15:13.120
people here, make them pay taxes, document them, and then
269
00:15:13.159 --> 00:15:14.639
you know, at the end of the work season or
270
00:15:14.639 --> 00:15:16.519
a certain time year, they go home. I have no
271
00:15:16.519 --> 00:15:18.559
problem with doing that seasonal work. I have no problem
272
00:15:18.559 --> 00:15:21.759
with that. But as far as you coming here and
273
00:15:23.039 --> 00:15:25.799
taking the limited resources that really need to be allocated
274
00:15:25.799 --> 00:15:29.879
first and foremost to Americans, No, and what's going on,
275
00:15:29.919 --> 00:15:34.720
what's going on in Minnesota should enrage every single American
276
00:15:35.039 --> 00:15:38.279
and it should be a bigger What's that judge that
277
00:15:39.279 --> 00:15:40.120
the jury gave it?
278
00:15:40.720 --> 00:15:42.799
The whole jury said guilty, and they tried to overturn
279
00:15:42.840 --> 00:15:45.480
it said I saw that.
280
00:15:45.919 --> 00:15:49.559
I saw that. Hey, activist judges, that's been a problem
281
00:15:49.559 --> 00:15:52.320
for a long time. Activist judges are a problem. Activist
282
00:15:52.440 --> 00:15:55.679
judges are a major, uh impediment to Donald Trump and
283
00:15:55.720 --> 00:15:58.240
what he's trying to accomplish. But I'll tell you one thing,
284
00:15:58.440 --> 00:16:03.879
you know, Executive order is one thing our GOP Congress
285
00:16:04.799 --> 00:16:07.080
needs to get attacked together because they have a very
286
00:16:07.200 --> 00:16:10.840
rare opportunity right now that may not well, I say corrected.
287
00:16:11.120 --> 00:16:13.879
They have a very rare opportunity that may it's not
288
00:16:14.039 --> 00:16:16.320
may not be repeated. It will not be repeated because
289
00:16:16.360 --> 00:16:18.919
this is Donald Trump's last term. This is the last
290
00:16:19.039 --> 00:16:21.320
term Donald Trump will ever serve as president of the
291
00:16:21.399 --> 00:16:24.559
United States, And we have a congressional majority, and we
292
00:16:24.639 --> 00:16:27.039
can't get things done. If I'll only tell you something,
293
00:16:27.080 --> 00:16:30.120
and hats off to the Democrats, if Nancy Pelosi were
294
00:16:30.159 --> 00:16:33.600
the Speaker and Kamala Harris were president and they have
295
00:16:33.720 --> 00:16:36.879
the Senate, to you bet, you're ass they'd be shoved
296
00:16:37.120 --> 00:16:40.559
every bit of left wing legislation down the American's throat
297
00:16:40.639 --> 00:16:44.679
and making it law, not just ruling by executive order.
298
00:16:45.080 --> 00:16:49.159
Executive orders are very easily shot down. Laws much harder
299
00:16:49.200 --> 00:16:54.480
to do that. So exactly we should which which now
300
00:16:54.600 --> 00:16:57.039
it's it's really materializing and becoming the disaster we always
301
00:16:57.039 --> 00:16:59.600
said it was going to become. But that being said,
302
00:17:00.240 --> 00:17:02.919
I don't know what the what the GOP is doing
303
00:17:02.919 --> 00:17:05.759
and how many of them are either resigning or saying
304
00:17:05.759 --> 00:17:08.720
I'm not seeking reelection. What's going on with that? We're
305
00:17:08.720 --> 00:17:12.079
gonna lose seats because of that, they see them on
306
00:17:12.119 --> 00:17:12.440
the wall.
307
00:17:12.599 --> 00:17:15.240
I think we're gonna crush it because he's gonna give
308
00:17:15.240 --> 00:17:17.440
a two thousand dollars to end which we don't have
309
00:17:17.559 --> 00:17:19.960
to pay back. So it's not stimulus. It's a dibot
310
00:17:20.000 --> 00:17:23.240
out in the tariff money. And I think everybody's waking up.
311
00:17:23.279 --> 00:17:26.200
I think on midterms, we're gonna crush it in the midterms.
312
00:17:28.160 --> 00:17:31.519
He's going out and on the ticket, so that's what helps.
313
00:17:32.880 --> 00:17:34.640
Well, he'll he'll do that. Yeah, I mean, like when
314
00:17:34.680 --> 00:17:36.559
the when the midterms come around, he's gonna be the
315
00:17:36.599 --> 00:17:38.799
biggest driving force because he's gonna go out and he's
316
00:17:38.799 --> 00:17:41.200
gonna have rallies and he's gonna Trump knows what to do.
317
00:17:41.279 --> 00:17:43.759
He's gonna be the kingmaker that he is. But that
318
00:17:43.839 --> 00:17:48.440
being said, you know, this time next year there will
319
00:17:48.440 --> 00:17:51.480
be you know, we'll be ready for an incoming congress.
320
00:17:51.680 --> 00:17:54.680
Hopefully it's a Republican Congress. But to be honest with you, Bob,
321
00:17:55.319 --> 00:17:57.960
I don't see a big difference between a Democrat and
322
00:17:58.000 --> 00:18:01.359
Republican control congress. I don't see a big difference right now.
323
00:18:01.440 --> 00:18:03.240
I agree with I think after the miterial well, but.
324
00:18:03.279 --> 00:18:06.480
But right now, but not after see that's the problem,
325
00:18:06.559 --> 00:18:09.279
and not after the midterms. They're wasting the opportunity.
326
00:18:09.279 --> 00:18:10.039
They have right now.
327
00:18:10.559 --> 00:18:13.640
They've had since since since January of twenty twenty five,
328
00:18:13.680 --> 00:18:16.680
they've had nearly a year where they should be working
329
00:18:16.720 --> 00:18:19.519
around the clock, going, guys, we have a limited time
330
00:18:19.559 --> 00:18:21.559
period because we don't know how things are going to
331
00:18:21.599 --> 00:18:23.680
turn out the next in the next election. So we
332
00:18:23.759 --> 00:18:26.839
have two years to take Donald Trump's agenda, the agenda
333
00:18:26.880 --> 00:18:29.119
that the overwhelming majority of Americans voted for. Seventy seven
334
00:18:29.160 --> 00:18:31.880
million Americans voted for this. We have the opportunity to
335
00:18:31.920 --> 00:18:34.880
turn this into law. And that means, because you know
336
00:18:34.920 --> 00:18:36.559
an executive order, what's going to happen you do an
337
00:18:36.559 --> 00:18:39.839
executive order. Let's say twenty twenty eight, is President Newsome,
338
00:18:39.839 --> 00:18:41.640
he comes in and on day one he strikes all
339
00:18:41.640 --> 00:18:45.400
of them. That's it. That's doff. It's like, if you
340
00:18:45.480 --> 00:18:49.559
make it law, that's how you create legacy. That's how
341
00:18:49.599 --> 00:18:52.000
you create long lasting change. And again this goes back
342
00:18:52.039 --> 00:18:55.160
to what I've been saying since our first day on
343
00:18:55.200 --> 00:18:59.440
this podcast. Republicans are looking for their next meal. Will
344
00:18:59.480 --> 00:19:03.279
democrat are looking fifty hundred years ahead. They've always done that.
345
00:19:03.480 --> 00:19:06.680
They play the long game so much better than Republicans do.
346
00:19:07.240 --> 00:19:12.839
And Mike Johnson and Thune and our congressional leadership is
347
00:19:13.000 --> 00:19:15.680
lacking in the fact that either it's a lack of
348
00:19:15.759 --> 00:19:19.000
will or a lack of ability that they can't seem
349
00:19:19.039 --> 00:19:25.119
to take this agenda that really, when perfectly executed, makes
350
00:19:25.160 --> 00:19:26.759
this country infinitely better.
351
00:19:27.559 --> 00:19:31.480
How the big beautiful bill pass that's looking back, it's like,
352
00:19:31.519 --> 00:19:32.839
holy crap pass?
353
00:19:34.079 --> 00:19:36.079
Well, I think I think there were one a lot
354
00:19:36.119 --> 00:19:39.039
of concessions made to Democrats. Of course, as is the
355
00:19:39.079 --> 00:19:41.480
case in Washington. I mean that's the system we have.
356
00:19:42.079 --> 00:19:44.519
Deals have to be struck unless you have a supermajority,
357
00:19:44.519 --> 00:19:46.480
which I don't think either party will ever have again
358
00:19:46.799 --> 00:19:48.640
as long as our country is in existence. I just
359
00:19:48.680 --> 00:19:52.240
think we're ideologically too far divided where we would ever
360
00:19:52.279 --> 00:19:56.359
have it like seventy percent Republican or seventy percent Democrat Congress.
361
00:19:57.400 --> 00:20:02.480
But as far as you know, there have been a
362
00:20:02.519 --> 00:20:05.880
significant number of immigrants who have I guess by the
363
00:20:05.920 --> 00:20:08.839
reports we're being given, have self deported, and certainly the
364
00:20:08.880 --> 00:20:12.079
deportation efforts have ramped up, but it's not nearly enough,
365
00:20:12.079 --> 00:20:14.119
and it's not nearly on pace to get it done
366
00:20:14.200 --> 00:20:17.000
within the four year period. And mind you, if Republicans
367
00:20:17.039 --> 00:20:19.440
lose the House and the Senate in twenty twenty six,
368
00:20:20.039 --> 00:20:22.519
that's all going to be reversed because Congress controls the
369
00:20:22.519 --> 00:20:24.279
purse strings, and they'll just stop the funding of it.
370
00:20:25.920 --> 00:20:29.960
If Republicans lose the House, even just for posterity sake,
371
00:20:30.000 --> 00:20:32.359
they will impeach Donald Trump again just to do it
372
00:20:32.880 --> 00:20:36.279
no reason. I think they're really going to go after Hegseth.
373
00:20:36.319 --> 00:20:38.079
I think they're really going to try to get a
374
00:20:38.119 --> 00:20:40.279
dog referral for him. I don't think that's going to
375
00:20:40.319 --> 00:20:42.599
happen under Trump, but if when New summer, if someone
376
00:20:42.599 --> 00:20:44.279
else were to get it in twenty eight, yeah, they're
377
00:20:44.279 --> 00:20:47.000
going to prosecute him for war crimes for blowing up
378
00:20:47.039 --> 00:20:52.519
the drug boats. But we are losing opportunity here to
379
00:20:53.079 --> 00:20:56.359
take Trump's agenda, which is you know that's over at
380
00:20:56.359 --> 00:20:58.599
some point, but to make it long lasting law, and
381
00:20:58.640 --> 00:21:00.839
to give this guy a legacy and not just him,
382
00:21:00.880 --> 00:21:02.920
not just to appease Trump is he go, doesn't mean
383
00:21:02.960 --> 00:21:06.119
any more of that, but the ideas and the reason
384
00:21:06.200 --> 00:21:09.400
he was elected to really make this country better and
385
00:21:09.480 --> 00:21:11.599
to reverse the course that we've been on for the
386
00:21:11.640 --> 00:21:14.920
past forty years. You know, Donald Trump is a reaction.
387
00:21:15.079 --> 00:21:17.440
Donald Trump is a reaction to a failed system. We've
388
00:21:17.480 --> 00:21:22.559
said that twenty sixteen. His victory was not a Republican victory,
389
00:21:22.759 --> 00:21:25.119
it was not a Democrat victory. It was a victory
390
00:21:25.599 --> 00:21:28.440
for those that saw a corrupt system on both sides.
391
00:21:28.680 --> 00:21:30.839
To you know, it was as much a rebuke of
392
00:21:30.880 --> 00:21:33.359
the Bush years as it was of the Obama years.
393
00:21:33.880 --> 00:21:37.559
It was like Bush Obama, enough of this already, and
394
00:21:37.640 --> 00:21:40.880
Trump came in. I think what we're learning now with
395
00:21:40.920 --> 00:21:43.880
it what came out in Georgia, how many ballots were
396
00:21:44.279 --> 00:21:49.720
not properly authenticated. So Trump was right when he was
397
00:21:49.720 --> 00:21:52.720
on the phone with what's his name to Secretary of
398
00:21:52.720 --> 00:21:54.880
State saying, hey, find may the eleven thousand votes and
399
00:21:54.960 --> 00:21:58.880
something like three hundred thousand were actually not properly authenticated.
400
00:21:59.400 --> 00:22:02.119
That would have done would have taken Georgia out of
401
00:22:02.119 --> 00:22:06.960
play for Biden. And then we just you know, look
402
00:22:07.319 --> 00:22:10.279
what Trump's had to do in the last year is
403
00:22:10.279 --> 00:22:13.440
he's really got to bring us back from the abyss
404
00:22:13.519 --> 00:22:16.160
that that was the Biden years. It was a really
405
00:22:16.240 --> 00:22:20.079
bad time for this country economically, on the world stage,
406
00:22:20.119 --> 00:22:23.119
nobody respected us, and to get that back. I think
407
00:22:23.119 --> 00:22:24.400
we've come a long way, but I think we have
408
00:22:24.440 --> 00:22:26.720
a long way to go. But certainly with respect to
409
00:22:26.759 --> 00:22:29.079
the fraud that's going on in Minnesota and what we're seeing,
410
00:22:29.359 --> 00:22:31.000
and I think that's just a tip of the iceberg.
411
00:22:31.039 --> 00:22:33.240
I mean, if it's going on like that in Minnesota,
412
00:22:33.359 --> 00:22:35.519
it really hasn't been and no one's even really looked
413
00:22:35.519 --> 00:22:38.519
into it in the other states the way that it's
414
00:22:38.519 --> 00:22:41.799
been examined in Minnesota. But now the action's got to happen,
415
00:22:41.799 --> 00:22:44.039
because think about it this way, Bob. If you have
416
00:22:44.200 --> 00:22:46.200
let's say you have a home healthcare company and you
417
00:22:46.240 --> 00:22:50.200
bring home healthcare aids to people, and you fudge the
418
00:22:50.200 --> 00:22:51.960
books and you make up places all. I went to
419
00:22:52.039 --> 00:22:55.039
John Smith's house on Tuesday and sent an aid worker
420
00:22:55.079 --> 00:22:57.480
there for two hours, and then you build medicare and
421
00:22:57.519 --> 00:22:59.480
they send you your check for two hundred thousand dollars
422
00:22:59.519 --> 00:23:02.440
wherever it is. If you were to do that and
423
00:23:02.480 --> 00:23:05.240
you amassed, you know, ten twenty million dollars in fraud,
424
00:23:05.319 --> 00:23:07.599
you'd go to prison twenty years. They do it all
425
00:23:07.640 --> 00:23:10.839
the time. This is so much worse than that, And
426
00:23:10.880 --> 00:23:14.640
not only that is I think the organization goes so
427
00:23:14.759 --> 00:23:17.359
much deeper than that. I don't think, I really don't
428
00:23:17.359 --> 00:23:19.400
think these are people that are coming here from Somalia
429
00:23:19.920 --> 00:23:22.799
and kind of figuring out how to game the system.
430
00:23:22.960 --> 00:23:24.799
These are people that are here that know how to
431
00:23:24.839 --> 00:23:28.160
game the system, that are using the Somalis as their
432
00:23:28.279 --> 00:23:31.359
vehicle by which to generate tremendous profits.
433
00:23:32.359 --> 00:23:35.279
I had never thought about it. That sounds plausible for sure.
434
00:23:35.839 --> 00:23:38.400
Yeah, well, someone someone had put that out there. Someone
435
00:23:38.400 --> 00:23:43.440
had mentioned that that, like, it's not like this, the
436
00:23:44.079 --> 00:23:51.359
level of bureaucratic sophistication and just knowing how to do it.
437
00:23:51.599 --> 00:23:53.960
I mean, it's a real art form, like people who
438
00:23:54.000 --> 00:23:56.559
know how to game the system. It exists, no matter
439
00:23:56.599 --> 00:24:01.000
whether it's like EBT fraud, medicare fraud, whatever it may be.
440
00:24:01.440 --> 00:24:07.440
The government when it comes to writing checks, there's very
441
00:24:07.519 --> 00:24:11.000
little vetting in place or very very minimal, very shallow.
442
00:24:11.240 --> 00:24:14.799
It's very easy to perpetrate fraud, especially medicare front. Hey,
443
00:24:14.920 --> 00:24:17.680
I've got a Somali daycare center. We're taking care of
444
00:24:17.680 --> 00:24:20.359
Somali immigants with maybe thousand Smali and words of Minnesota.
445
00:24:20.480 --> 00:24:23.319
These are the needs of the community. We have a facility.
446
00:24:23.559 --> 00:24:27.640
We can take seventy five children per month. Each child
447
00:24:27.720 --> 00:24:31.359
we need approximately four million dollars a year. Oh oh, beautiful,
448
00:24:31.440 --> 00:24:33.759
stunning and break here you go, there's four million dollars
449
00:24:33.920 --> 00:24:35.839
and then you show up at the location and there's
450
00:24:35.880 --> 00:24:39.599
a there's a misspelled stye tapped to the door, and
451
00:24:39.680 --> 00:24:40.440
nobody's there.
452
00:24:42.279 --> 00:24:44.279
I could just really pissing you off because your tax
453
00:24:44.440 --> 00:24:45.279
is going to be pretty big.
454
00:24:46.359 --> 00:24:49.880
Dude, my tax well, I pay taxes throughout the year.
455
00:24:49.920 --> 00:24:52.480
It's already it's already massive. Man, Hey, pisses me up.
456
00:24:52.519 --> 00:24:54.839
It makes my upset. It does because, like at the
457
00:24:54.960 --> 00:24:58.359
end of the day, like we're hardworking, law abiding people,
458
00:24:58.400 --> 00:25:00.839
Like we're not going to cheat on our taxes, honestly. Like,
459
00:25:00.920 --> 00:25:04.000
it's it's a game of fear. I mean, income taxes
460
00:25:04.079 --> 00:25:07.240
arm robbery when you think about it, income taxes armed robbery,
461
00:25:07.279 --> 00:25:11.440
because the reason I am giving my percentage of my
462
00:25:11.519 --> 00:25:15.279
income is fear based. It's not a voluntary system. If
463
00:25:15.359 --> 00:25:19.519
I don't do it, you can deprive me of my liberty.
464
00:25:19.880 --> 00:25:22.720
Armed agents with weapons can come to my house and
465
00:25:22.720 --> 00:25:24.839
can take me into Caay, you could kidnap me at gunpoint.
466
00:25:25.319 --> 00:25:29.000
So really, like when I do something under duress, under fear,
467
00:25:31.039 --> 00:25:32.519
that's a robbery. If you did that to me on
468
00:25:32.519 --> 00:25:35.960
the street, you go to jail. They do that in Washington.
469
00:25:35.960 --> 00:25:42.960
It's called taxes. It's it's absolutely infuriating. But can you
470
00:25:42.960 --> 00:25:47.160
talk about something else? Go right ahead, how about the economy?
471
00:25:47.400 --> 00:25:51.599
I mean said three point three percent.
472
00:25:51.400 --> 00:25:53.839
GP and it can be and get ready because the
473
00:25:53.839 --> 00:25:56.279
big beautiful bill is about the peak in January first,
474
00:25:56.680 --> 00:25:59.559
and he's been building a he's a builder, so he's
475
00:25:59.599 --> 00:26:02.799
been building the foundation all this year and next year.
476
00:26:02.680 --> 00:26:05.960
It's just gonna blow up. Q one.
477
00:26:06.079 --> 00:26:09.119
A lot of people don't realize. Most people will go
478
00:26:09.240 --> 00:26:11.839
for their tax returns and king as.
479
00:26:11.680 --> 00:26:13.880
Soon as they get their W two both, so their
480
00:26:13.920 --> 00:26:16.720
taxes apparently are gonna the returns are gonna be huge.
481
00:26:16.839 --> 00:26:19.240
Those people are gonna spend that money. Q one is
482
00:26:19.279 --> 00:26:19.920
gonna be huge.
483
00:26:19.960 --> 00:26:21.960
Q T is gonna be bigger. Q three is gonna
484
00:26:22.000 --> 00:26:22.440
be bigger.
485
00:26:22.880 --> 00:26:24.799
It's gonna explode next year.
486
00:26:26.720 --> 00:26:29.519
I think so. Uh, the economy has been I mean,
487
00:26:29.759 --> 00:26:32.240
the dows hit all time highs, and I know people
488
00:26:32.279 --> 00:26:34.559
say that, you know, Wall Street isn't a reflection of
489
00:26:34.599 --> 00:26:37.519
Main Street, and there's there's some truth to that, but
490
00:26:37.559 --> 00:26:40.400
there's certainly a trickle down. Look, if businesses are doing better,
491
00:26:40.880 --> 00:26:43.480
if people have confidence in the economy, people are spending
492
00:26:43.480 --> 00:26:46.440
more money, Certainly things are more expensive. I mean, there
493
00:26:46.279 --> 00:26:48.119
are certainly things are more expensive to put a new
494
00:26:48.160 --> 00:26:51.960
air conditioning system in. I mean you might as well
495
00:26:52.319 --> 00:26:53.920
sell a kidney to do that. I mean it's gotten
496
00:26:54.000 --> 00:26:56.519
really crazy. And again it's it's costs going up, costs
497
00:26:56.559 --> 00:27:00.160
going up. Inflation is still an issue. Affordability. Yeah, that's
498
00:27:00.160 --> 00:27:01.960
something that Republicans need to be talking about because that
499
00:27:01.960 --> 00:27:04.279
affects all of us. I don't care your income bracket.
500
00:27:04.279 --> 00:27:05.759
I mean, you have to make more and more and
501
00:27:05.839 --> 00:27:09.799
more money just to get by in the modern era.
502
00:27:09.880 --> 00:27:13.599
I mean, there used to be a time in American
503
00:27:13.640 --> 00:27:15.079
history where was like, oh, I can make one hundred
504
00:27:15.119 --> 00:27:17.200
thousand a year. I'll be said, if you're making one
505
00:27:17.240 --> 00:27:18.640
hundred thousand a year, you got a family of four
506
00:27:18.680 --> 00:27:22.000
year below the poverty line. Come on. I mean it's
507
00:27:22.039 --> 00:27:23.640
the amount of money it takes just to get by
508
00:27:23.680 --> 00:27:26.279
in this country right now is really astronomical. And one
509
00:27:26.279 --> 00:27:30.640
of the reasons for that is illegal immigration, fraud, things
510
00:27:30.680 --> 00:27:32.680
that we all have to pay for. Because when you
511
00:27:32.759 --> 00:27:35.839
commit fraud, when there's a nine billion dollar fraud perpetrated
512
00:27:35.880 --> 00:27:37.680
on the federal government, how do you think the federal
513
00:27:37.720 --> 00:27:41.000
government recoups their losses. It's a nonprofit entity. They're not
514
00:27:41.039 --> 00:27:43.160
making any money anywhere but you and I. They have
515
00:27:43.240 --> 00:27:45.720
to raise taxes. They go to Congress, Congress, but okay,
516
00:27:45.759 --> 00:27:47.200
we're going to pass you know, this is the new
517
00:27:47.240 --> 00:27:50.160
tax code for twenty twenty six. And now if you
518
00:27:50.200 --> 00:27:52.319
were in this bracket last year, now you're in this bracket,
519
00:27:52.319 --> 00:27:54.440
your taxes are always going to go up. They did
520
00:27:54.440 --> 00:27:56.319
it fore Ukraine because they got to pay for that war.
521
00:27:56.359 --> 00:27:58.319
They got to pay for the weapons and the money
522
00:27:58.319 --> 00:28:00.599
they're given that they were getting Zelensky not much anymore,
523
00:28:01.039 --> 00:28:04.319
but the fraud. The fraud's got to be recouped. But yeah,
524
00:28:04.319 --> 00:28:06.319
I think twenty twenty six economically is gonna be a
525
00:28:06.359 --> 00:28:08.880
great year. I think the DALLA is gonna hit fifty
526
00:28:08.880 --> 00:28:11.759
thousand before the end of the year, probably soon, probably
527
00:28:11.799 --> 00:28:17.759
within probably within six months market market oh eight seven,
528
00:28:19.200 --> 00:28:21.880
I think within six months time. I think it's a
529
00:28:22.000 --> 00:28:24.200
probably sooner than that, maybe three to six months. It's
530
00:28:24.200 --> 00:28:28.000
going to hit fifty thousand. I think uh Elon Musk
531
00:28:28.079 --> 00:28:30.599
is going to become the first trillion era in twenty
532
00:28:30.680 --> 00:28:33.359
twenty six, mark my words. I think that's going to happen.
533
00:28:34.160 --> 00:28:38.200
And again, Republicans just have to get working get busy
534
00:28:38.240 --> 00:28:42.839
and get serious about not just not just focusing on
535
00:28:42.880 --> 00:28:45.519
the midterms, but focusing on the opportunity that they have
536
00:28:45.599 --> 00:28:47.680
right now. It's a Donald Trump's last term. They have
537
00:28:47.720 --> 00:28:52.119
a congressional majority. Use it. Use that bully pulpit, utilize
538
00:28:52.119 --> 00:28:56.759
your power, wield that sword. Be like Nancy Pelosi, say
539
00:28:56.759 --> 00:28:59.599
what you will about her. I've always respected her ruthlessness
540
00:28:59.599 --> 00:29:01.720
and what she us for her party. We don't have
541
00:29:01.839 --> 00:29:04.319
that on our side, and that's always upset me because
542
00:29:04.319 --> 00:29:07.519
Republicans are always always a damn high road man. But
543
00:29:07.599 --> 00:29:09.920
we've always said it's a street fight. You know, it's
544
00:29:09.960 --> 00:29:13.240
in the gutter, and they're taking the high road.
545
00:29:13.880 --> 00:29:15.960
How about yeah?
546
00:29:16.440 --> 00:29:19.440
Over especially man? Silver is is? What is silver?
547
00:29:19.519 --> 00:29:19.759
Right now?
548
00:29:19.759 --> 00:29:25.319
Announce seventy nine? I bought it thirty one. Hang on
549
00:29:25.400 --> 00:29:31.359
to that man, and uh, what's gold going forty?
550
00:29:31.640 --> 00:29:32.240
I picked that up.
551
00:29:32.279 --> 00:29:35.480
It's forty Wait wait wait forty five thirty two?
552
00:29:36.440 --> 00:29:37.680
Yeah, and then check it.
553
00:29:37.880 --> 00:29:41.920
I remember what it was, sixteen hundred ounces. At least
554
00:29:41.960 --> 00:29:43.480
have gold, we say, I remember when it was at
555
00:29:43.519 --> 00:29:45.480
sixteen hundred anounced it was the last time I checked it.
556
00:29:45.559 --> 00:29:46.799
I don't check you hold very often.
557
00:29:47.279 --> 00:29:51.880
It's probably gonna hit five twenty six, I would.
558
00:29:51.680 --> 00:29:54.559
Think, OK, we got to get those my gold guys
559
00:29:54.559 --> 00:29:55.200
back on the show.
560
00:29:57.039 --> 00:30:01.039
The only thing that's floundering of mine is bitcoin. M
561
00:30:01.880 --> 00:30:04.279
it's at eighty seven. It wasn't one point.
562
00:30:04.359 --> 00:30:06.279
It was it like one eight. It was it one
563
00:30:06.359 --> 00:30:08.920
twenty two, like two three months ago. I've always gone
564
00:30:08.960 --> 00:30:11.519
back and forth on bitcoin. I've played with it, I've
565
00:30:11.640 --> 00:30:14.039
you know, dabbled in, and I've done like the coin
566
00:30:14.079 --> 00:30:16.200
base account thing kind of like did a little day trading.
567
00:30:16.240 --> 00:30:18.119
And it's fun and you get a little exhilaration when
568
00:30:18.160 --> 00:30:21.640
you make money. But the problem with bitcoin and all
569
00:30:21.720 --> 00:30:25.559
the like the real old school like stoic economists, like
570
00:30:25.559 --> 00:30:27.200
the Warren Buffets of the world, that you really got
571
00:30:27.240 --> 00:30:30.400
to listen to, the like, what's the practical usage of bitcoin?
572
00:30:30.440 --> 00:30:30.640
Bob?
573
00:30:30.839 --> 00:30:33.480
You may own bitcoin, when is the last time you
574
00:30:33.599 --> 00:30:39.160
made a purchase with bitcoin? Three weeks ago? You bought
575
00:30:39.200 --> 00:30:43.559
you what you with? Yo? You bought you used bitcoin? Okay,
576
00:30:43.599 --> 00:30:47.880
of course, Look, bitcoin, bitcoin is is a it's and
577
00:30:47.920 --> 00:30:49.519
I know I'm going to piss off the crypto bros.
578
00:30:49.559 --> 00:30:52.720
It's it's a made up thing. It's it's just out
579
00:30:52.720 --> 00:30:55.480
of thin air. What's the practical usage. Have you gone
580
00:30:55.519 --> 00:30:57.759
Have you bought a car with bitcoin? Have you bought
581
00:30:57.799 --> 00:31:00.640
groceries with bitcoin? I mean, are b this is? I mean,
582
00:31:00.680 --> 00:31:02.880
I know some businesses accept bitcoin, I know some of
583
00:31:02.880 --> 00:31:07.079
my colleagues in the criminal defense world, except it I don't.
584
00:31:08.079 --> 00:31:10.680
But I just don't think there's enough practical usage to
585
00:31:10.759 --> 00:31:12.880
make it a commodity. I still think it's kind of
586
00:31:12.880 --> 00:31:15.880
this make believe thing. And I think, look, I'm either
587
00:31:15.920 --> 00:31:17.480
going to be completely wrong and it's going to hit
588
00:31:17.519 --> 00:31:19.559
a million dollars and I'm gonna be kicking myself going wide.
589
00:31:19.559 --> 00:31:21.480
Did and I buy it at eighty eight thousand or
590
00:31:21.519 --> 00:31:23.319
one day, it's just going to implode. Who the hell
591
00:31:23.359 --> 00:31:26.799
knows My brother Herman, he's had it for eight years.
592
00:31:26.839 --> 00:31:28.519
He's probably got one hundred million dollars worth.
593
00:31:29.920 --> 00:31:33.119
Yeah, well, you know what, he's got more discipline than
594
00:31:33.119 --> 00:31:34.599
I do, because if I had one hundred million dollars
595
00:31:34.599 --> 00:31:36.519
worth of bitcoin, I'd be selling it. I wouldn't hang
596
00:31:36.559 --> 00:31:38.039
on to it to hit a billion, because I wouldn't
597
00:31:38.039 --> 00:31:39.039
take the chance. That wouldn't.
598
00:31:39.799 --> 00:31:40.640
Oh, he's all in.
599
00:31:42.240 --> 00:31:46.240
Anyways, Well, anyways, guys, so this is the last show
600
00:31:46.279 --> 00:31:49.799
of twenty twenty five. Next weekend, I will be gone
601
00:31:49.880 --> 00:31:52.480
four New Year's We'll be back the first week of
602
00:31:52.559 --> 00:31:55.480
January twenty twenty six. Now on the back nine of
603
00:31:55.519 --> 00:31:58.319
the twenty twenties, this decade is going by faster than
604
00:31:58.400 --> 00:32:00.799
any decade previously. But I just think that's as we
605
00:32:00.839 --> 00:32:04.799
get older, our memories get shorter. Time just goes by well.
606
00:32:04.839 --> 00:32:08.799
Our perspectives changed, because when you're a kid, it's like
607
00:32:08.839 --> 00:32:12.200
Brian Adams in Summer sixty nine, the summer seemed to
608
00:32:12.240 --> 00:32:14.960
last forever. And that's a true line because I remember
609
00:32:14.960 --> 00:32:17.720
being a kid and more like a summer breaking, which
610
00:32:17.759 --> 00:32:21.440
is twelve weeks. If that, it was all the time
611
00:32:21.480 --> 00:32:23.319
in the world. And now it's like I blink and like,
612
00:32:23.359 --> 00:32:26.279
oh shit, it was just October and now almost in January.
613
00:32:27.440 --> 00:32:30.759
I something recently of time is I had five minutes, okay,
614
00:32:30.960 --> 00:32:34.440
and then five minutes took like twelve hours. It seemed like,
615
00:32:34.759 --> 00:32:37.000
you know, we don't care about time. It flies when
616
00:32:37.039 --> 00:32:38.960
you care about time, like slows down.
617
00:32:40.839 --> 00:32:43.240
The crazy thing about time, without getting too into the
618
00:32:43.240 --> 00:32:45.920
weeds on it is it doesn't exist. We've completely we
619
00:32:46.000 --> 00:32:49.079
made it up. All we have our revolutions of the
620
00:32:49.119 --> 00:32:51.720
earth and revolutions around the sun, that's all we have.
621
00:32:52.200 --> 00:32:56.440
All of time, all of existence since life first appeared
622
00:32:56.640 --> 00:33:00.319
to this very instant, is linear. It's completely linear. It's
623
00:33:00.440 --> 00:33:04.599
one straight road. And we have figured out, namely for
624
00:33:04.839 --> 00:33:08.240
agrarian reasons, like okay, like this is how much sunlight
625
00:33:08.319 --> 00:33:10.240
we get, and this is how much time we need
626
00:33:10.279 --> 00:33:12.759
to farm. So we broke it up into days and
627
00:33:12.799 --> 00:33:15.720
different cultures. The Romans had their calendar, the Hebrews still
628
00:33:15.759 --> 00:33:19.079
have their calendar. It's like the year five thousand. Different
629
00:33:19.119 --> 00:33:21.559
cultures figured out how to break it up, and we
630
00:33:21.720 --> 00:33:24.000
just decided for the sake convenience. Okay, this is how
631
00:33:24.000 --> 00:33:27.440
long it takes for We established a measurement of time
632
00:33:27.680 --> 00:33:29.240
for how long it takes for the earth to make
633
00:33:29.240 --> 00:33:31.920
one complete revolution and around the sun. So it's all.
634
00:33:31.960 --> 00:33:34.359
It's all made up. It's all made up. Time is
635
00:33:34.400 --> 00:33:36.440
in our heads, you know. It's just we're just here
636
00:33:36.519 --> 00:33:39.599
and all we have is existence, and just make the
637
00:33:39.640 --> 00:33:42.880
most of it, man, because shit, like life, it goes
638
00:33:42.920 --> 00:33:44.200
by too fast, it really does.
639
00:33:45.000 --> 00:33:46.240
I'm going outside after it this.
640
00:33:47.440 --> 00:33:51.119
Go outside, touch grass, live, enjoy the sun. Thank you,
641
00:33:51.400 --> 00:33:53.720
thank you all for giving us a platform and keeping
642
00:33:53.799 --> 00:33:57.160
us around for this long. And have a wonderful, wonderful
643
00:33:57.160 --> 00:33:59.279
New Years. We will see you next year. God bless,
644
00:34:00.319 --> 00:34:22.559
God bless indeed, take everybody. Two K Yeah America, Yeah,
645
00:34:35.559 --> 00:34:36.960
looking of America.
1
00:00:00.200 --> 00:00:00.560
Erica.
2
00:00:01.240 --> 00:00:17.399
We'll keep American. Great, keep America. You keep America, We'll
3
00:00:17.519 --> 00:00:34.679
keep it America. Good day.
4
00:00:42.520 --> 00:00:45.200
Welcome to the Bob Americ Saper American Podcast. Moname is
5
00:00:45.240 --> 00:00:48.119
Bob Zadlod. Hey, my name Jack Phoebe. Thank you all,
6
00:00:48.320 --> 00:00:50.439
Thank you all for being here. I hope everyone had
7
00:00:50.439 --> 00:00:54.439
a very merry Christmas. How's your Christmas was good?
8
00:00:55.719 --> 00:00:56.000
Okay?
9
00:00:56.159 --> 00:01:01.079
Yeah, yeah, the weather is beautiful. Had a wonderful Christmas.
10
00:01:01.079 --> 00:01:03.560
And the thing I love about it this year and
11
00:01:03.600 --> 00:01:07.159
it just seems to be everybody's saying Merry Christmas, like
12
00:01:07.319 --> 00:01:11.359
nobody's saying. Sometimes they'll say happy Holidays, but my response
13
00:01:11.439 --> 00:01:13.640
is always Merry Christmas. And then they like let their
14
00:01:13.640 --> 00:01:16.719
guard down, go oh, merry Christmas. But I mean that's
15
00:01:16.799 --> 00:01:19.159
like people are saying that again. Man. We I want
16
00:01:19.200 --> 00:01:21.840
to take a minute because there's so much infighting and
17
00:01:21.840 --> 00:01:26.519
complaining and I think the problem with just the culture
18
00:01:26.519 --> 00:01:29.519
in which we live is everything is so immediate, everything
19
00:01:29.560 --> 00:01:32.719
is so instant gratification oriented, that we don't take enough
20
00:01:32.760 --> 00:01:36.599
time to appreciate what we've done. And we can complain
21
00:01:36.640 --> 00:01:38.400
and we can sit in our little echo chambers go well,
22
00:01:38.400 --> 00:01:40.599
this isn't done, and that isn't done. But look where
23
00:01:40.599 --> 00:01:42.519
we were last year or last year Donald Trump had
24
00:01:42.560 --> 00:01:45.280
not been inaugurated yet, we were still in the Biden era.
25
00:01:45.840 --> 00:01:49.280
In the last year, you know, inflation has come down tremendously,
26
00:01:49.359 --> 00:01:51.799
not enough, I mean costs or not. I'll get to
27
00:01:51.840 --> 00:01:54.000
that in a minute. Costs are not where they should be,
28
00:01:54.120 --> 00:01:56.120
but they are coming down. We are making progress in
29
00:01:56.120 --> 00:02:00.000
the right direction to the border. The border. If Donald
30
00:02:00.079 --> 00:02:03.359
Trump's only first year accomplishment was the border, that would
31
00:02:03.400 --> 00:02:06.159
be enough. I mean, think about it, Bob, think about it.
32
00:02:06.359 --> 00:02:09.000
Last year and the year before that was the pre
33
00:02:09.039 --> 00:02:11.879
eminent issue of his twenty twenty four campaign was the border.
34
00:02:11.919 --> 00:02:15.000
The border is out of control. Ninety one hundred thousand
35
00:02:15.039 --> 00:02:20.840
people crossing a month. It's down to zero zero amazing months.
36
00:02:21.960 --> 00:02:25.000
We said that he did in his second term. He
37
00:02:25.080 --> 00:02:27.719
did with the border. What he did with isis in
38
00:02:27.719 --> 00:02:29.879
his first year. Remember isis here. He eradicated them in
39
00:02:29.919 --> 00:02:39.639
ten months. Yeah, they my poor dude. I may get
40
00:02:39.639 --> 00:02:41.960
to retire one day. I mean, my portfolio is headed
41
00:02:42.039 --> 00:02:45.960
in the right direction. It's a beautiful thing to see. Obviously,
42
00:02:46.000 --> 00:02:48.560
there's a lot to be done, but there will always
43
00:02:48.599 --> 00:02:50.439
be a lot to be done. People. Thinking that you're
44
00:02:50.479 --> 00:02:53.360
going to find perfection, let alone from your elected leaders,
45
00:02:53.400 --> 00:02:56.000
is silly. There's always going to be places where we
46
00:02:56.000 --> 00:02:59.360
can improve upon. I think Pam Bundy's got to step
47
00:02:59.400 --> 00:03:01.800
it up. Satisfied with the job that she's done at
48
00:03:01.800 --> 00:03:03.400
the DOJ in her first year, i'd like to see
49
00:03:03.439 --> 00:03:06.520
her doing more, certainly with respect to what we're what.
50
00:03:08.240 --> 00:03:11.840
Your fat ass of New York, Will you arrest anybody
51
00:03:11.919 --> 00:03:12.240
right now?
52
00:03:12.280 --> 00:03:17.800
It's it's just going to be, well, what I'm what
53
00:03:17.840 --> 00:03:22.159
I'm thinking of specifically, And what's really got me upset
54
00:03:22.479 --> 00:03:24.800
is you're paying attention to what's going on in Minnesota.
55
00:03:25.599 --> 00:03:28.719
Yeah yeah, Jesus.
56
00:03:29.479 --> 00:03:35.439
Okay, So well, let me let me take a second
57
00:03:35.439 --> 00:03:38.560
here because I want to give credit where credit is due.
58
00:03:38.800 --> 00:03:42.680
There's a young YouTuber. The guy's like twenty three years old,
59
00:03:43.280 --> 00:03:46.120
Nick Shirley, Nick Shirley. If you're not following Nick Shirley
60
00:03:46.120 --> 00:03:49.479
on x at Nick Shirley, and that's what two why's
61
00:03:50.479 --> 00:03:53.039
he's a YouTuber. He's a twenty three year old kid,
62
00:03:53.360 --> 00:03:56.520
and he went and he exposed the Minnesota fraud like
63
00:03:56.759 --> 00:04:01.680
no professional journalist has even come close to doing. Remarkable.
64
00:04:04.000 --> 00:04:07.840
So here's the thing. Okay, so these programs in Minnesota,
65
00:04:07.879 --> 00:04:10.000
it's a perfectly run scam when you look at it.
66
00:04:10.719 --> 00:04:13.560
So and again, I want to get to in a second,
67
00:04:13.599 --> 00:04:15.599
like where the organization is coming from, because I don't
68
00:04:15.599 --> 00:04:18.079
think these are immigrants that are coming here and starting
69
00:04:18.120 --> 00:04:20.360
the scams. I think these are people that are praying
70
00:04:20.360 --> 00:04:22.879
and using the immigrants to perpetuate the scams, who are
71
00:04:23.079 --> 00:04:25.360
just as culpable and are in on it. But I
72
00:04:25.360 --> 00:04:27.399
don't think it's coming from them. I think you have
73
00:04:27.600 --> 00:04:30.319
a lot of organizers who are local who know how
74
00:04:30.360 --> 00:04:33.120
to manipulate the federal and state government because medicare all
75
00:04:33.120 --> 00:04:36.199
these state programs, all these federal programs are so easy
76
00:04:36.199 --> 00:04:38.920
to manipulate. I mean, you saw that during COVID, the PPP,
77
00:04:39.160 --> 00:04:43.959
the Paycheck Protecting Program, the EIDLD, those programs, and oh
78
00:04:44.040 --> 00:04:46.240
my god, I have a business. I have one hundred employees,
79
00:04:46.519 --> 00:04:48.639
I make one hundred thousand dollars in revenue a month.
80
00:04:48.680 --> 00:04:50.680
Help me out. Oh, here's a check for a million dollars,
81
00:04:50.959 --> 00:04:53.240
like it happened. I mean. One of the reasons why
82
00:04:53.639 --> 00:04:56.959
we saw the inflation, we saw the economy stumble the
83
00:04:56.959 --> 00:04:59.639
way it did in the early twenty twenties was primarily
84
00:04:59.639 --> 00:05:01.600
because of COVID and certainly the way the government was
85
00:05:01.600 --> 00:05:03.839
just writing check out check to anyone who demanded it.
86
00:05:04.079 --> 00:05:07.600
But that being said, so in Minnesota, so Somali immigrants
87
00:05:07.600 --> 00:05:11.279
have been targeted and they come here and people say, hey,
88
00:05:11.759 --> 00:05:14.120
we can get you money. Do you have an autistic child?
89
00:05:14.319 --> 00:05:18.199
Oh yeah, sure, check the box. Then they have these
90
00:05:18.240 --> 00:05:20.439
programs set up. And what this guy, Nick Shirley did
91
00:05:20.480 --> 00:05:23.600
is he went to these addresses, these business addresses, and
92
00:05:23.639 --> 00:05:27.279
it's literally like a warehouse that says like children's learning center,
93
00:05:27.279 --> 00:05:30.480
except it's all misspelled, like stapled up to the front door,
94
00:05:30.519 --> 00:05:33.079
like okay, you say here on your federal filings, you
95
00:05:33.120 --> 00:05:35.519
have seventy five children you take care of. There's no
96
00:05:35.560 --> 00:05:37.879
one here. And what they do is they say, we
97
00:05:37.959 --> 00:05:40.959
have seventy five children, We're a learning center for the
98
00:05:40.959 --> 00:05:46.240
Somali community and the federal government. Because that's what they do.
99
00:05:46.839 --> 00:05:51.360
Here's four million dollars. Now you and I are paying
100
00:05:51.439 --> 00:05:55.399
for that, bob. When in ten days, less than ten days,
101
00:05:55.680 --> 00:05:58.879
the year is over, we start over at zero. And
102
00:05:58.920 --> 00:06:00.800
that means that you got to start going back in
103
00:06:00.839 --> 00:06:02.439
your books, and you've got to calculate, and you got
104
00:06:02.480 --> 00:06:04.319
to get with your accountant to figure out how much
105
00:06:04.360 --> 00:06:07.399
do I owe the US government for the hard work
106
00:06:07.439 --> 00:06:10.480
for the labor I expended in twenty twenty five. And
107
00:06:10.560 --> 00:06:12.639
the government's going to come and take a big fat
108
00:06:12.720 --> 00:06:16.480
bite out of your paycheck to pay for the fraud
109
00:06:16.879 --> 00:06:19.560
that these people are committing that have no stake in
110
00:06:19.600 --> 00:06:26.319
this country to begin with. They have no stake the idea, Bob, I.
111
00:06:26.519 --> 00:06:29.360
There's an issue that conservatives are debating right now. There's
112
00:06:29.399 --> 00:06:33.120
a big kind of infighting going on in the conservative community.
113
00:06:33.360 --> 00:06:36.959
Have you heard about the concept of heritage Americans? Have
114
00:06:37.040 --> 00:06:39.680
you heard about that? What that is? Yes? Okay, so
115
00:06:39.800 --> 00:06:44.759
there's a different whether you know if you have more
116
00:06:45.519 --> 00:06:48.879
strongly grounded roots in America, do you have a greater
117
00:06:49.120 --> 00:06:52.120
steak or are you considered to be more American than
118
00:06:52.120 --> 00:06:54.160
the next person. I've been thinking about that a lot,
119
00:06:55.199 --> 00:06:57.959
and I want to flip the script. Let's think about
120
00:06:58.000 --> 00:07:00.920
it this way. I wake up tomorrow morning and I
121
00:07:00.959 --> 00:07:02.759
say I've had enough of the US. I want to
122
00:07:02.800 --> 00:07:06.560
move to Japan. And I apply to Japan, and I
123
00:07:06.680 --> 00:07:08.360
get a property and I start going through the process
124
00:07:08.399 --> 00:07:13.279
of citizenship. Am I'm more Japanese or do I have
125
00:07:13.319 --> 00:07:16.959
a stake a vested interest in the nation, like a
126
00:07:17.000 --> 00:07:19.439
family that's been there like a thousand years that goes
127
00:07:19.480 --> 00:07:22.079
back to the Samurai period. Like am I a heritage
128
00:07:22.439 --> 00:07:27.040
Japanese person? I don't think. I don't believe that that
129
00:07:27.120 --> 00:07:31.680
gives me the same standing as somebody who's got deeply
130
00:07:31.800 --> 00:07:34.399
vested root in the country. If I move to the
131
00:07:34.439 --> 00:07:37.959
Middle East, you know some family that's been there for
132
00:07:38.000 --> 00:07:42.040
two thousand years. Am I a greater Afghan or a
133
00:07:42.079 --> 00:07:45.079
greater Saudi Arabian or a greater whatever than them? And
134
00:07:45.120 --> 00:07:48.680
I'm not saying that you can't come here and be American.
135
00:07:48.720 --> 00:07:50.240
And of course you have the same rights you have.
136
00:07:50.839 --> 00:07:52.519
You become a citizen, you have the right to vote,
137
00:07:52.519 --> 00:07:54.800
you have the right to engage in the process of
138
00:07:54.800 --> 00:07:56.639
being an American just like the rest of us, which,
139
00:07:56.720 --> 00:07:58.959
mind you, does not exist really anywhere in the world.
140
00:07:59.279 --> 00:08:01.120
If you were to move to Mexico tomorrow, you can
141
00:08:01.160 --> 00:08:02.920
become a Mexican citizen. Bob, you can never own a
142
00:08:02.920 --> 00:08:04.800
piece of property there because you weren't born in Mexico.
143
00:08:05.240 --> 00:08:07.959
There are very strict immigrants in other countries. We are
144
00:08:08.000 --> 00:08:10.759
the most leany was generous on earth. And I have
145
00:08:10.839 --> 00:08:13.680
to think like if you're here, like if your ancestors
146
00:08:13.680 --> 00:08:17.040
came over on a mayflower, I want to say, you
147
00:08:17.079 --> 00:08:19.160
have a little bit more steak in this country than
148
00:08:19.199 --> 00:08:22.360
someone who's you know, great grandparents came here. I'm and
149
00:08:22.399 --> 00:08:24.720
I'm speaking against my own interests because I have both
150
00:08:24.920 --> 00:08:26.639
on both sides. On one side of my family, we've
151
00:08:26.680 --> 00:08:28.920
been here since the sixteen hundreds. On the other side
152
00:08:28.959 --> 00:08:32.840
of the two generations removed from immigrants. So I kind
153
00:08:32.840 --> 00:08:35.799
of feel that way that I think the more you
154
00:08:35.879 --> 00:08:38.799
have vested in a country, the longer you've been here,
155
00:08:39.159 --> 00:08:42.120
the deeper your roots are. I tend to think you
156
00:08:42.159 --> 00:08:45.320
have just a little more of a vested interest and
157
00:08:45.360 --> 00:08:47.440
maybe a little more steak in this country than someone
158
00:08:47.440 --> 00:08:49.559
who's newer. I just think that that kind of goes
159
00:08:49.679 --> 00:08:51.840
without saying for anywhere you are in the world. But
160
00:08:51.919 --> 00:08:55.799
what is I don't have a problem. What it means
161
00:08:55.840 --> 00:09:00.399
is the idea that anybody can just come here and
162
00:09:01.240 --> 00:09:05.919
they're automatically American, that anyone can just come here no
163
00:09:06.000 --> 00:09:08.440
matter what and just like set foot on American soil,
164
00:09:08.600 --> 00:09:10.879
like you're as American as a family that's been here
165
00:09:10.919 --> 00:09:14.840
since the day's the Pilgrims. I don't necessarily think that's true.
166
00:09:15.159 --> 00:09:18.519
And also when we look at how immigration is coming
167
00:09:18.519 --> 00:09:20.440
in the modern era as opposed to how it was
168
00:09:20.480 --> 00:09:22.399
one hundred hundred and fifty years ago. We've had waves
169
00:09:22.399 --> 00:09:26.200
of immigration in this country for a very long time,
170
00:09:26.519 --> 00:09:28.360
and it's always been the idea of people coming here
171
00:09:28.360 --> 00:09:30.519
for a better life. But they were coming here. We
172
00:09:30.600 --> 00:09:33.759
talked about this at nausea, people coming here to be
173
00:09:34.000 --> 00:09:38.639
part of America. Assimilation was the assimilation was a key
174
00:09:38.679 --> 00:09:43.159
factor in success, a key factor in how you would do.
175
00:09:43.240 --> 00:09:47.000
And it was also not only on the immigrant community
176
00:09:47.039 --> 00:09:50.759
coming here. We impose that upon the immigrants coming here,
177
00:09:50.799 --> 00:09:54.919
you will assimilate. What can you provide? We had skills tests,
178
00:09:55.320 --> 00:09:57.120
What can you provide? Are you going to be a
179
00:09:57.159 --> 00:09:59.279
positive for us? Or are you going to be a drain?
180
00:09:59.360 --> 00:10:02.360
Are you going to be a burden? And we've lost
181
00:10:02.639 --> 00:10:07.080
we've lost that where we're inviting people here and applying
182
00:10:07.159 --> 00:10:10.840
them with assistance. Look at the sheer numbers. Okay, if
183
00:10:10.840 --> 00:10:13.720
you take the Somali community, take the eighty thousand Somalians
184
00:10:13.759 --> 00:10:16.600
that are in Minnesota, and you look at what they
185
00:10:16.639 --> 00:10:19.320
pay into the tax system as opposed to what they've
186
00:10:19.360 --> 00:10:22.759
taken out through public assistance and fraud. They are a
187
00:10:23.039 --> 00:10:27.320
net drain on the Minnesota and American economy just by
188
00:10:27.320 --> 00:10:30.519
the sheer numbers. That's not making any comment about where
189
00:10:30.559 --> 00:10:33.200
they're from, just as an immigrant group, when we look
190
00:10:33.240 --> 00:10:36.399
at what are you contributed? Because everyone tells us diversity
191
00:10:36.440 --> 00:10:39.600
is your strength. Diversity makes us great. Okay, where is
192
00:10:39.639 --> 00:10:43.080
that strength? Where is that greatness? If you're eighty thousand
193
00:10:43.120 --> 00:10:46.559
of you were here committing nine billion dollars worth of fraud,
194
00:10:47.759 --> 00:10:50.240
but your tax base you're only paying on average about
195
00:10:50.240 --> 00:10:52.879
eight hundred dollars a person, where the average American is
196
00:10:52.919 --> 00:10:56.600
paying eight to ten thousand. Where where is that strength?
197
00:10:56.639 --> 00:11:01.559
Where is that greatness coming from? And I want, but
198
00:11:01.679 --> 00:11:04.120
I want there has to be a cultural shift in
199
00:11:04.159 --> 00:11:06.480
this country. I think we're in the right direction where
200
00:11:06.879 --> 00:11:11.080
we have a right to say we don't want you here.
201
00:11:11.639 --> 00:11:16.639
You've proven that you're not going to contribute. Your absolute
202
00:11:16.720 --> 00:11:22.120
refusal to assimilate, the sheer level of fraud that's perpetrated
203
00:11:22.480 --> 00:11:24.879
by your community, the number of people in your community
204
00:11:24.919 --> 00:11:28.919
that are seeking public assistance, it's not doing us any good.
205
00:11:29.919 --> 00:11:35.559
We're not We're not a place where you can come
206
00:11:36.240 --> 00:11:39.559
and you can just live off public assistance. We can't
207
00:11:39.600 --> 00:11:42.679
be that, we can't just be like the waste reciprocal
208
00:11:42.759 --> 00:11:45.480
of the world. And I know everyone, like the Democrats,
209
00:11:45.480 --> 00:11:46.960
always like to go, oh, give us, you're tired and
210
00:11:46.960 --> 00:11:50.519
you're poor, your huddle masses. Americans are tired. Americans are poor.
211
00:11:51.039 --> 00:11:56.240
Americans are huddle masses yearning for Where's that American dream
212
00:11:56.279 --> 00:11:59.960
that we were promised. Where's that American dream for American kids?
213
00:12:00.720 --> 00:12:04.600
This is our country, this is our country, and we
214
00:12:04.639 --> 00:12:06.559
are not in existence for the rest of the world
215
00:12:06.600 --> 00:12:10.679
to come and take complete advantage on our dime. And
216
00:12:11.000 --> 00:12:15.080
I think immigration quotas, I think moratoriums. I think that's
217
00:12:15.120 --> 00:12:17.679
where we need to go because it's not a matter
218
00:12:17.759 --> 00:12:19.519
of what you look like. I don't think anyone looks
219
00:12:19.519 --> 00:12:22.120
at another human being in the modern era looks at
220
00:12:22.120 --> 00:12:23.960
someone's skin color and goes, oh, I don't like you
221
00:12:24.000 --> 00:12:27.240
because your skin is that shade. That's old world bullshit
222
00:12:27.279 --> 00:12:30.799
that doesn't exist anymore. It's when eighty thousand of you
223
00:12:30.919 --> 00:12:34.559
from one particular place are responsible for nine billion dollars
224
00:12:34.559 --> 00:12:37.879
worth of fraud. Where's that greatness that we were promised?
225
00:12:37.879 --> 00:12:41.639
Where's that benefit? Is it? The food? Is the food
226
00:12:41.679 --> 00:12:46.080
really that good. You give me a break. I mean,
227
00:12:47.440 --> 00:12:50.960
it's not sustainable, Bob. That's the issue that we run into.
228
00:12:51.039 --> 00:12:54.679
It's not sustainable. We're at forty trillion dollars in debt.
229
00:12:54.840 --> 00:12:57.519
How far does it go? And that forty trillion dollars,
230
00:12:57.600 --> 00:13:00.559
mind you, that hasn't come over to undred and fifty
231
00:13:00.600 --> 00:13:03.919
year period that we were at about three trillion in
232
00:13:04.000 --> 00:13:06.919
nineteen ninety five. Where did the remainder of that come.
233
00:13:06.960 --> 00:13:09.080
That's been in about the last twenty twenty five years,
234
00:13:09.320 --> 00:13:13.320
really escalating in about the last ten. We just don't
235
00:13:13.360 --> 00:13:16.279
have enough resources. We don't have enough to take care
236
00:13:16.320 --> 00:13:19.600
of the world. I've said it for so long, and
237
00:13:19.720 --> 00:13:23.320
even Republicans man can happen for this. I would fully
238
00:13:23.360 --> 00:13:26.720
if I were king of this country, I would issue
239
00:13:26.759 --> 00:13:32.879
a decree non negotiable, cannot be challenged, twenty year moratorium
240
00:13:32.919 --> 00:13:40.799
on all immigration. All immigration. Call me can be a cruel, unfair, heartless.
241
00:13:42.559 --> 00:13:45.120
I don't care if you're coming from Norway. I don't
242
00:13:45.159 --> 00:13:48.039
care if you're coming from Nigeria. I don't care what
243
00:13:48.080 --> 00:13:50.519
you look like. I don't care your background. I don't
244
00:13:50.559 --> 00:13:54.519
care who your parents are. No no means no America
245
00:13:54.639 --> 00:14:00.559
is closed. Twenty years so we can one implement importation
246
00:14:00.720 --> 00:14:02.960
of those who should not be here, get rid of
247
00:14:02.960 --> 00:14:05.960
the criminals, get rid of the illegals, try to recoup
248
00:14:05.960 --> 00:14:08.000
our losses the best we can kind of get back
249
00:14:08.039 --> 00:14:13.679
on level playing field. Eliminate the fraud, pay down our debt,
250
00:14:14.039 --> 00:14:17.399
take care of our veterans, take care of Americans. God,
251
00:14:17.639 --> 00:14:19.960
I'm sitting here sounding like a damn socialist. Bobs and
252
00:14:20.039 --> 00:14:23.399
take care of Americans. Government, take care of the Americans.
253
00:14:23.519 --> 00:14:25.600
Take care of the people who have sacrificed their lives,
254
00:14:25.679 --> 00:14:29.200
their limbs, their mental health to preserve the freedoms that
255
00:14:29.240 --> 00:14:32.559
we take for granted. And once we do that, then
256
00:14:32.600 --> 00:14:38.679
we can reevaluate. Okay, back to basics. And again note
257
00:14:39.200 --> 00:14:41.519
the argument that always comes, well, who's going to do
258
00:14:41.559 --> 00:14:43.919
the who's going to clean my house, who's going to
259
00:14:44.000 --> 00:14:48.080
pick the lettuce? You know what we we talked about
260
00:14:48.080 --> 00:14:50.600
it for twenty five thirty years. Well, for first of all,
261
00:14:50.799 --> 00:14:54.200
you know a lot of those jobs, the Amazon warehouse jobs,
262
00:14:54.639 --> 00:14:58.000
a lot of the agricultural jobs are being automated. Of course,
263
00:14:58.679 --> 00:15:00.519
automation is going to do a way with a lot
264
00:15:00.559 --> 00:15:04.759
of that in due time. The other jobs, I mean, look,
265
00:15:05.120 --> 00:15:06.960
if you want to have a guest worker program. I've
266
00:15:06.960 --> 00:15:08.279
always been in favor of that. I'm always that we
267
00:15:08.279 --> 00:15:09.879
should have a guest worker program. You want to bring
268
00:15:09.879 --> 00:15:13.120
people here, make them pay taxes, document them, and then
269
00:15:13.159 --> 00:15:14.639
you know, at the end of the work season or
270
00:15:14.639 --> 00:15:16.519
a certain time year, they go home. I have no
271
00:15:16.519 --> 00:15:18.559
problem with doing that seasonal work. I have no problem
272
00:15:18.559 --> 00:15:21.759
with that. But as far as you coming here and
273
00:15:23.039 --> 00:15:25.799
taking the limited resources that really need to be allocated
274
00:15:25.799 --> 00:15:29.879
first and foremost to Americans, No, and what's going on,
275
00:15:29.919 --> 00:15:34.720
what's going on in Minnesota should enrage every single American
276
00:15:35.039 --> 00:15:38.279
and it should be a bigger What's that judge that
277
00:15:39.279 --> 00:15:40.120
the jury gave it?
278
00:15:40.720 --> 00:15:42.799
The whole jury said guilty, and they tried to overturn
279
00:15:42.840 --> 00:15:45.480
it said I saw that.
280
00:15:45.919 --> 00:15:49.559
I saw that. Hey, activist judges, that's been a problem
281
00:15:49.559 --> 00:15:52.320
for a long time. Activist judges are a problem. Activist
282
00:15:52.440 --> 00:15:55.679
judges are a major, uh impediment to Donald Trump and
283
00:15:55.720 --> 00:15:58.240
what he's trying to accomplish. But I'll tell you one thing,
284
00:15:58.440 --> 00:16:03.879
you know, Executive order is one thing our GOP Congress
285
00:16:04.799 --> 00:16:07.080
needs to get attacked together because they have a very
286
00:16:07.200 --> 00:16:10.840
rare opportunity right now that may not well, I say corrected.
287
00:16:11.120 --> 00:16:13.879
They have a very rare opportunity that may it's not
288
00:16:14.039 --> 00:16:16.320
may not be repeated. It will not be repeated because
289
00:16:16.360 --> 00:16:18.919
this is Donald Trump's last term. This is the last
290
00:16:19.039 --> 00:16:21.320
term Donald Trump will ever serve as president of the
291
00:16:21.399 --> 00:16:24.559
United States, And we have a congressional majority, and we
292
00:16:24.639 --> 00:16:27.039
can't get things done. If I'll only tell you something,
293
00:16:27.080 --> 00:16:30.120
and hats off to the Democrats, if Nancy Pelosi were
294
00:16:30.159 --> 00:16:33.600
the Speaker and Kamala Harris were president and they have
295
00:16:33.720 --> 00:16:36.879
the Senate, to you bet, you're ass they'd be shoved
296
00:16:37.120 --> 00:16:40.559
every bit of left wing legislation down the American's throat
297
00:16:40.639 --> 00:16:44.679
and making it law, not just ruling by executive order.
298
00:16:45.080 --> 00:16:49.159
Executive orders are very easily shot down. Laws much harder
299
00:16:49.200 --> 00:16:54.480
to do that. So exactly we should which which now
300
00:16:54.600 --> 00:16:57.039
it's it's really materializing and becoming the disaster we always
301
00:16:57.039 --> 00:16:59.600
said it was going to become. But that being said,
302
00:17:00.240 --> 00:17:02.919
I don't know what the what the GOP is doing
303
00:17:02.919 --> 00:17:05.759
and how many of them are either resigning or saying
304
00:17:05.759 --> 00:17:08.720
I'm not seeking reelection. What's going on with that? We're
305
00:17:08.720 --> 00:17:12.079
gonna lose seats because of that, they see them on
306
00:17:12.119 --> 00:17:12.440
the wall.
307
00:17:12.599 --> 00:17:15.240
I think we're gonna crush it because he's gonna give
308
00:17:15.240 --> 00:17:17.440
a two thousand dollars to end which we don't have
309
00:17:17.559 --> 00:17:19.960
to pay back. So it's not stimulus. It's a dibot
310
00:17:20.000 --> 00:17:23.240
out in the tariff money. And I think everybody's waking up.
311
00:17:23.279 --> 00:17:26.200
I think on midterms, we're gonna crush it in the midterms.
312
00:17:28.160 --> 00:17:31.519
He's going out and on the ticket, so that's what helps.
313
00:17:32.880 --> 00:17:34.640
Well, he'll he'll do that. Yeah, I mean, like when
314
00:17:34.680 --> 00:17:36.559
the when the midterms come around, he's gonna be the
315
00:17:36.599 --> 00:17:38.799
biggest driving force because he's gonna go out and he's
316
00:17:38.799 --> 00:17:41.200
gonna have rallies and he's gonna Trump knows what to do.
317
00:17:41.279 --> 00:17:43.759
He's gonna be the kingmaker that he is. But that
318
00:17:43.839 --> 00:17:48.440
being said, you know, this time next year there will
319
00:17:48.440 --> 00:17:51.480
be you know, we'll be ready for an incoming congress.
320
00:17:51.680 --> 00:17:54.680
Hopefully it's a Republican Congress. But to be honest with you, Bob,
321
00:17:55.319 --> 00:17:57.960
I don't see a big difference between a Democrat and
322
00:17:58.000 --> 00:18:01.359
Republican control congress. I don't see a big difference right now.
323
00:18:01.440 --> 00:18:03.240
I agree with I think after the miterial well, but.
324
00:18:03.279 --> 00:18:06.480
But right now, but not after see that's the problem,
325
00:18:06.559 --> 00:18:09.279
and not after the midterms. They're wasting the opportunity.
326
00:18:09.279 --> 00:18:10.039
They have right now.
327
00:18:10.559 --> 00:18:13.640
They've had since since since January of twenty twenty five,
328
00:18:13.680 --> 00:18:16.680
they've had nearly a year where they should be working
329
00:18:16.720 --> 00:18:19.519
around the clock, going, guys, we have a limited time
330
00:18:19.559 --> 00:18:21.559
period because we don't know how things are going to
331
00:18:21.599 --> 00:18:23.680
turn out the next in the next election. So we
332
00:18:23.759 --> 00:18:26.839
have two years to take Donald Trump's agenda, the agenda
333
00:18:26.880 --> 00:18:29.119
that the overwhelming majority of Americans voted for. Seventy seven
334
00:18:29.160 --> 00:18:31.880
million Americans voted for this. We have the opportunity to
335
00:18:31.920 --> 00:18:34.880
turn this into law. And that means, because you know
336
00:18:34.920 --> 00:18:36.559
an executive order, what's going to happen you do an
337
00:18:36.559 --> 00:18:39.839
executive order. Let's say twenty twenty eight, is President Newsome,
338
00:18:39.839 --> 00:18:41.640
he comes in and on day one he strikes all
339
00:18:41.640 --> 00:18:45.400
of them. That's it. That's doff. It's like, if you
340
00:18:45.480 --> 00:18:49.559
make it law, that's how you create legacy. That's how
341
00:18:49.599 --> 00:18:52.000
you create long lasting change. And again this goes back
342
00:18:52.039 --> 00:18:55.160
to what I've been saying since our first day on
343
00:18:55.200 --> 00:18:59.440
this podcast. Republicans are looking for their next meal. Will
344
00:18:59.480 --> 00:19:03.279
democrat are looking fifty hundred years ahead. They've always done that.
345
00:19:03.480 --> 00:19:06.680
They play the long game so much better than Republicans do.
346
00:19:07.240 --> 00:19:12.839
And Mike Johnson and Thune and our congressional leadership is
347
00:19:13.000 --> 00:19:15.680
lacking in the fact that either it's a lack of
348
00:19:15.759 --> 00:19:19.000
will or a lack of ability that they can't seem
349
00:19:19.039 --> 00:19:25.119
to take this agenda that really, when perfectly executed, makes
350
00:19:25.160 --> 00:19:26.759
this country infinitely better.
351
00:19:27.559 --> 00:19:31.480
How the big beautiful bill pass that's looking back, it's like,
352
00:19:31.519 --> 00:19:32.839
holy crap pass?
353
00:19:34.079 --> 00:19:36.079
Well, I think I think there were one a lot
354
00:19:36.119 --> 00:19:39.039
of concessions made to Democrats. Of course, as is the
355
00:19:39.079 --> 00:19:41.480
case in Washington. I mean that's the system we have.
356
00:19:42.079 --> 00:19:44.519
Deals have to be struck unless you have a supermajority,
357
00:19:44.519 --> 00:19:46.480
which I don't think either party will ever have again
358
00:19:46.799 --> 00:19:48.640
as long as our country is in existence. I just
359
00:19:48.680 --> 00:19:52.240
think we're ideologically too far divided where we would ever
360
00:19:52.279 --> 00:19:56.359
have it like seventy percent Republican or seventy percent Democrat Congress.
361
00:19:57.400 --> 00:20:02.480
But as far as you know, there have been a
362
00:20:02.519 --> 00:20:05.880
significant number of immigrants who have I guess by the
363
00:20:05.920 --> 00:20:08.839
reports we're being given, have self deported, and certainly the
364
00:20:08.880 --> 00:20:12.079
deportation efforts have ramped up, but it's not nearly enough,
365
00:20:12.079 --> 00:20:14.119
and it's not nearly on pace to get it done
366
00:20:14.200 --> 00:20:17.000
within the four year period. And mind you, if Republicans
367
00:20:17.039 --> 00:20:19.440
lose the House and the Senate in twenty twenty six,
368
00:20:20.039 --> 00:20:22.519
that's all going to be reversed because Congress controls the
369
00:20:22.519 --> 00:20:24.279
purse strings, and they'll just stop the funding of it.
370
00:20:25.920 --> 00:20:29.960
If Republicans lose the House, even just for posterity sake,
371
00:20:30.000 --> 00:20:32.359
they will impeach Donald Trump again just to do it
372
00:20:32.880 --> 00:20:36.279
no reason. I think they're really going to go after Hegseth.
373
00:20:36.319 --> 00:20:38.079
I think they're really going to try to get a
374
00:20:38.119 --> 00:20:40.279
dog referral for him. I don't think that's going to
375
00:20:40.319 --> 00:20:42.599
happen under Trump, but if when New summer, if someone
376
00:20:42.599 --> 00:20:44.279
else were to get it in twenty eight, yeah, they're
377
00:20:44.279 --> 00:20:47.000
going to prosecute him for war crimes for blowing up
378
00:20:47.039 --> 00:20:52.519
the drug boats. But we are losing opportunity here to
379
00:20:53.079 --> 00:20:56.359
take Trump's agenda, which is you know that's over at
380
00:20:56.359 --> 00:20:58.599
some point, but to make it long lasting law, and
381
00:20:58.640 --> 00:21:00.839
to give this guy a legacy and not just him,
382
00:21:00.880 --> 00:21:02.920
not just to appease Trump is he go, doesn't mean
383
00:21:02.960 --> 00:21:06.119
any more of that, but the ideas and the reason
384
00:21:06.200 --> 00:21:09.400
he was elected to really make this country better and
385
00:21:09.480 --> 00:21:11.599
to reverse the course that we've been on for the
386
00:21:11.640 --> 00:21:14.920
past forty years. You know, Donald Trump is a reaction.
387
00:21:15.079 --> 00:21:17.440
Donald Trump is a reaction to a failed system. We've
388
00:21:17.480 --> 00:21:22.559
said that twenty sixteen. His victory was not a Republican victory,
389
00:21:22.759 --> 00:21:25.119
it was not a Democrat victory. It was a victory
390
00:21:25.599 --> 00:21:28.440
for those that saw a corrupt system on both sides.
391
00:21:28.680 --> 00:21:30.839
To you know, it was as much a rebuke of
392
00:21:30.880 --> 00:21:33.359
the Bush years as it was of the Obama years.
393
00:21:33.880 --> 00:21:37.559
It was like Bush Obama, enough of this already, and
394
00:21:37.640 --> 00:21:40.880
Trump came in. I think what we're learning now with
395
00:21:40.920 --> 00:21:43.880
it what came out in Georgia, how many ballots were
396
00:21:44.279 --> 00:21:49.720
not properly authenticated. So Trump was right when he was
397
00:21:49.720 --> 00:21:52.720
on the phone with what's his name to Secretary of
398
00:21:52.720 --> 00:21:54.880
State saying, hey, find may the eleven thousand votes and
399
00:21:54.960 --> 00:21:58.880
something like three hundred thousand were actually not properly authenticated.
400
00:21:59.400 --> 00:22:02.119
That would have done would have taken Georgia out of
401
00:22:02.119 --> 00:22:06.960
play for Biden. And then we just you know, look
402
00:22:07.319 --> 00:22:10.279
what Trump's had to do in the last year is
403
00:22:10.279 --> 00:22:13.440
he's really got to bring us back from the abyss
404
00:22:13.519 --> 00:22:16.160
that that was the Biden years. It was a really
405
00:22:16.240 --> 00:22:20.079
bad time for this country economically, on the world stage,
406
00:22:20.119 --> 00:22:23.119
nobody respected us, and to get that back. I think
407
00:22:23.119 --> 00:22:24.400
we've come a long way, but I think we have
408
00:22:24.440 --> 00:22:26.720
a long way to go. But certainly with respect to
409
00:22:26.759 --> 00:22:29.079
the fraud that's going on in Minnesota and what we're seeing,
410
00:22:29.359 --> 00:22:31.000
and I think that's just a tip of the iceberg.
411
00:22:31.039 --> 00:22:33.240
I mean, if it's going on like that in Minnesota,
412
00:22:33.359 --> 00:22:35.519
it really hasn't been and no one's even really looked
413
00:22:35.519 --> 00:22:38.519
into it in the other states the way that it's
414
00:22:38.519 --> 00:22:41.799
been examined in Minnesota. But now the action's got to happen,
415
00:22:41.799 --> 00:22:44.039
because think about it this way, Bob. If you have
416
00:22:44.200 --> 00:22:46.200
let's say you have a home healthcare company and you
417
00:22:46.240 --> 00:22:50.200
bring home healthcare aids to people, and you fudge the
418
00:22:50.200 --> 00:22:51.960
books and you make up places all. I went to
419
00:22:52.039 --> 00:22:55.039
John Smith's house on Tuesday and sent an aid worker
420
00:22:55.079 --> 00:22:57.480
there for two hours, and then you build medicare and
421
00:22:57.519 --> 00:22:59.480
they send you your check for two hundred thousand dollars
422
00:22:59.519 --> 00:23:02.440
wherever it is. If you were to do that and
423
00:23:02.480 --> 00:23:05.240
you amassed, you know, ten twenty million dollars in fraud,
424
00:23:05.319 --> 00:23:07.599
you'd go to prison twenty years. They do it all
425
00:23:07.640 --> 00:23:10.839
the time. This is so much worse than that, And
426
00:23:10.880 --> 00:23:14.640
not only that is I think the organization goes so
427
00:23:14.759 --> 00:23:17.359
much deeper than that. I don't think, I really don't
428
00:23:17.359 --> 00:23:19.400
think these are people that are coming here from Somalia
429
00:23:19.920 --> 00:23:22.799
and kind of figuring out how to game the system.
430
00:23:22.960 --> 00:23:24.799
These are people that are here that know how to
431
00:23:24.839 --> 00:23:28.160
game the system, that are using the Somalis as their
432
00:23:28.279 --> 00:23:31.359
vehicle by which to generate tremendous profits.
433
00:23:32.359 --> 00:23:35.279
I had never thought about it. That sounds plausible for sure.
434
00:23:35.839 --> 00:23:38.400
Yeah, well, someone someone had put that out there. Someone
435
00:23:38.400 --> 00:23:43.440
had mentioned that that, like, it's not like this, the
436
00:23:44.079 --> 00:23:51.359
level of bureaucratic sophistication and just knowing how to do it.
437
00:23:51.599 --> 00:23:53.960
I mean, it's a real art form, like people who
438
00:23:54.000 --> 00:23:56.559
know how to game the system. It exists, no matter
439
00:23:56.599 --> 00:24:01.000
whether it's like EBT fraud, medicare fraud, whatever it may be.
440
00:24:01.440 --> 00:24:07.440
The government when it comes to writing checks, there's very
441
00:24:07.519 --> 00:24:11.000
little vetting in place or very very minimal, very shallow.
442
00:24:11.240 --> 00:24:14.799
It's very easy to perpetrate fraud, especially medicare front. Hey,
443
00:24:14.920 --> 00:24:17.680
I've got a Somali daycare center. We're taking care of
444
00:24:17.680 --> 00:24:20.359
Somali immigants with maybe thousand Smali and words of Minnesota.
445
00:24:20.480 --> 00:24:23.319
These are the needs of the community. We have a facility.
446
00:24:23.559 --> 00:24:27.640
We can take seventy five children per month. Each child
447
00:24:27.720 --> 00:24:31.359
we need approximately four million dollars a year. Oh oh, beautiful,
448
00:24:31.440 --> 00:24:33.759
stunning and break here you go, there's four million dollars
449
00:24:33.920 --> 00:24:35.839
and then you show up at the location and there's
450
00:24:35.880 --> 00:24:39.599
a there's a misspelled stye tapped to the door, and
451
00:24:39.680 --> 00:24:40.440
nobody's there.
452
00:24:42.279 --> 00:24:44.279
I could just really pissing you off because your tax
453
00:24:44.440 --> 00:24:45.279
is going to be pretty big.
454
00:24:46.359 --> 00:24:49.880
Dude, my tax well, I pay taxes throughout the year.
455
00:24:49.920 --> 00:24:52.480
It's already it's already massive. Man, Hey, pisses me up.
456
00:24:52.519 --> 00:24:54.839
It makes my upset. It does because, like at the
457
00:24:54.960 --> 00:24:58.359
end of the day, like we're hardworking, law abiding people,
458
00:24:58.400 --> 00:25:00.839
Like we're not going to cheat on our taxes, honestly. Like,
459
00:25:00.920 --> 00:25:04.000
it's it's a game of fear. I mean, income taxes
460
00:25:04.079 --> 00:25:07.240
arm robbery when you think about it, income taxes armed robbery,
461
00:25:07.279 --> 00:25:11.440
because the reason I am giving my percentage of my
462
00:25:11.519 --> 00:25:15.279
income is fear based. It's not a voluntary system. If
463
00:25:15.359 --> 00:25:19.519
I don't do it, you can deprive me of my liberty.
464
00:25:19.880 --> 00:25:22.720
Armed agents with weapons can come to my house and
465
00:25:22.720 --> 00:25:24.839
can take me into Caay, you could kidnap me at gunpoint.
466
00:25:25.319 --> 00:25:29.000
So really, like when I do something under duress, under fear,
467
00:25:31.039 --> 00:25:32.519
that's a robbery. If you did that to me on
468
00:25:32.519 --> 00:25:35.960
the street, you go to jail. They do that in Washington.
469
00:25:35.960 --> 00:25:42.960
It's called taxes. It's it's absolutely infuriating. But can you
470
00:25:42.960 --> 00:25:47.160
talk about something else? Go right ahead, how about the economy?
471
00:25:47.400 --> 00:25:51.599
I mean said three point three percent.
472
00:25:51.400 --> 00:25:53.839
GP and it can be and get ready because the
473
00:25:53.839 --> 00:25:56.279
big beautiful bill is about the peak in January first,
474
00:25:56.680 --> 00:25:59.559
and he's been building a he's a builder, so he's
475
00:25:59.599 --> 00:26:02.799
been building the foundation all this year and next year.
476
00:26:02.680 --> 00:26:05.960
It's just gonna blow up. Q one.
477
00:26:06.079 --> 00:26:09.119
A lot of people don't realize. Most people will go
478
00:26:09.240 --> 00:26:11.839
for their tax returns and king as.
479
00:26:11.680 --> 00:26:13.880
Soon as they get their W two both, so their
480
00:26:13.920 --> 00:26:16.720
taxes apparently are gonna the returns are gonna be huge.
481
00:26:16.839 --> 00:26:19.240
Those people are gonna spend that money. Q one is
482
00:26:19.279 --> 00:26:19.920
gonna be huge.
483
00:26:19.960 --> 00:26:21.960
Q T is gonna be bigger. Q three is gonna
484
00:26:22.000 --> 00:26:22.440
be bigger.
485
00:26:22.880 --> 00:26:24.799
It's gonna explode next year.
486
00:26:26.720 --> 00:26:29.519
I think so. Uh, the economy has been I mean,
487
00:26:29.759 --> 00:26:32.240
the dows hit all time highs, and I know people
488
00:26:32.279 --> 00:26:34.559
say that, you know, Wall Street isn't a reflection of
489
00:26:34.599 --> 00:26:37.519
Main Street, and there's there's some truth to that, but
490
00:26:37.559 --> 00:26:40.400
there's certainly a trickle down. Look, if businesses are doing better,
491
00:26:40.880 --> 00:26:43.480
if people have confidence in the economy, people are spending
492
00:26:43.480 --> 00:26:46.440
more money, Certainly things are more expensive. I mean, there
493
00:26:46.279 --> 00:26:48.119
are certainly things are more expensive to put a new
494
00:26:48.160 --> 00:26:51.960
air conditioning system in. I mean you might as well
495
00:26:52.319 --> 00:26:53.920
sell a kidney to do that. I mean it's gotten
496
00:26:54.000 --> 00:26:56.519
really crazy. And again it's it's costs going up, costs
497
00:26:56.559 --> 00:27:00.160
going up. Inflation is still an issue. Affordability. Yeah, that's
498
00:27:00.160 --> 00:27:01.960
something that Republicans need to be talking about because that
499
00:27:01.960 --> 00:27:04.279
affects all of us. I don't care your income bracket.
500
00:27:04.279 --> 00:27:05.759
I mean, you have to make more and more and
501
00:27:05.839 --> 00:27:09.799
more money just to get by in the modern era.
502
00:27:09.880 --> 00:27:13.599
I mean, there used to be a time in American
503
00:27:13.640 --> 00:27:15.079
history where was like, oh, I can make one hundred
504
00:27:15.119 --> 00:27:17.200
thousand a year. I'll be said, if you're making one
505
00:27:17.240 --> 00:27:18.640
hundred thousand a year, you got a family of four
506
00:27:18.680 --> 00:27:22.000
year below the poverty line. Come on. I mean it's
507
00:27:22.039 --> 00:27:23.640
the amount of money it takes just to get by
508
00:27:23.680 --> 00:27:26.279
in this country right now is really astronomical. And one
509
00:27:26.279 --> 00:27:30.640
of the reasons for that is illegal immigration, fraud, things
510
00:27:30.680 --> 00:27:32.680
that we all have to pay for. Because when you
511
00:27:32.759 --> 00:27:35.839
commit fraud, when there's a nine billion dollar fraud perpetrated
512
00:27:35.880 --> 00:27:37.680
on the federal government, how do you think the federal
513
00:27:37.720 --> 00:27:41.000
government recoups their losses. It's a nonprofit entity. They're not
514
00:27:41.039 --> 00:27:43.160
making any money anywhere but you and I. They have
515
00:27:43.240 --> 00:27:45.720
to raise taxes. They go to Congress, Congress, but okay,
516
00:27:45.759 --> 00:27:47.200
we're going to pass you know, this is the new
517
00:27:47.240 --> 00:27:50.160
tax code for twenty twenty six. And now if you
518
00:27:50.200 --> 00:27:52.319
were in this bracket last year, now you're in this bracket,
519
00:27:52.319 --> 00:27:54.440
your taxes are always going to go up. They did
520
00:27:54.440 --> 00:27:56.319
it fore Ukraine because they got to pay for that war.
521
00:27:56.359 --> 00:27:58.319
They got to pay for the weapons and the money
522
00:27:58.319 --> 00:28:00.599
they're given that they were getting Zelensky not much anymore,
523
00:28:01.039 --> 00:28:04.319
but the fraud. The fraud's got to be recouped. But yeah,
524
00:28:04.319 --> 00:28:06.319
I think twenty twenty six economically is gonna be a
525
00:28:06.359 --> 00:28:08.880
great year. I think the DALLA is gonna hit fifty
526
00:28:08.880 --> 00:28:11.759
thousand before the end of the year, probably soon, probably
527
00:28:11.799 --> 00:28:17.759
within probably within six months market market oh eight seven,
528
00:28:19.200 --> 00:28:21.880
I think within six months time. I think it's a
529
00:28:22.000 --> 00:28:24.200
probably sooner than that, maybe three to six months. It's
530
00:28:24.200 --> 00:28:28.000
going to hit fifty thousand. I think uh Elon Musk
531
00:28:28.079 --> 00:28:30.599
is going to become the first trillion era in twenty
532
00:28:30.680 --> 00:28:33.359
twenty six, mark my words. I think that's going to happen.
533
00:28:34.160 --> 00:28:38.200
And again, Republicans just have to get working get busy
534
00:28:38.240 --> 00:28:42.839
and get serious about not just not just focusing on
535
00:28:42.880 --> 00:28:45.519
the midterms, but focusing on the opportunity that they have
536
00:28:45.599 --> 00:28:47.680
right now. It's a Donald Trump's last term. They have
537
00:28:47.720 --> 00:28:52.119
a congressional majority. Use it. Use that bully pulpit, utilize
538
00:28:52.119 --> 00:28:56.759
your power, wield that sword. Be like Nancy Pelosi, say
539
00:28:56.759 --> 00:28:59.599
what you will about her. I've always respected her ruthlessness
540
00:28:59.599 --> 00:29:01.720
and what she us for her party. We don't have
541
00:29:01.839 --> 00:29:04.319
that on our side, and that's always upset me because
542
00:29:04.319 --> 00:29:07.519
Republicans are always always a damn high road man. But
543
00:29:07.599 --> 00:29:09.920
we've always said it's a street fight. You know, it's
544
00:29:09.960 --> 00:29:13.240
in the gutter, and they're taking the high road.
545
00:29:13.880 --> 00:29:15.960
How about yeah?
546
00:29:16.440 --> 00:29:19.440
Over especially man? Silver is is? What is silver?
547
00:29:19.519 --> 00:29:19.759
Right now?
548
00:29:19.759 --> 00:29:25.319
Announce seventy nine? I bought it thirty one. Hang on
549
00:29:25.400 --> 00:29:31.359
to that man, and uh, what's gold going forty?
550
00:29:31.640 --> 00:29:32.240
I picked that up.
551
00:29:32.279 --> 00:29:35.480
It's forty Wait wait wait forty five thirty two?
552
00:29:36.440 --> 00:29:37.680
Yeah, and then check it.
553
00:29:37.880 --> 00:29:41.920
I remember what it was, sixteen hundred ounces. At least
554
00:29:41.960 --> 00:29:43.480
have gold, we say, I remember when it was at
555
00:29:43.519 --> 00:29:45.480
sixteen hundred anounced it was the last time I checked it.
556
00:29:45.559 --> 00:29:46.799
I don't check you hold very often.
557
00:29:47.279 --> 00:29:51.880
It's probably gonna hit five twenty six, I would.
558
00:29:51.680 --> 00:29:54.559
Think, OK, we got to get those my gold guys
559
00:29:54.559 --> 00:29:55.200
back on the show.
560
00:29:57.039 --> 00:30:01.039
The only thing that's floundering of mine is bitcoin. M
561
00:30:01.880 --> 00:30:04.279
it's at eighty seven. It wasn't one point.
562
00:30:04.359 --> 00:30:06.279
It was it like one eight. It was it one
563
00:30:06.359 --> 00:30:08.920
twenty two, like two three months ago. I've always gone
564
00:30:08.960 --> 00:30:11.519
back and forth on bitcoin. I've played with it, I've
565
00:30:11.640 --> 00:30:14.039
you know, dabbled in, and I've done like the coin
566
00:30:14.079 --> 00:30:16.200
base account thing kind of like did a little day trading.
567
00:30:16.240 --> 00:30:18.119
And it's fun and you get a little exhilaration when
568
00:30:18.160 --> 00:30:21.640
you make money. But the problem with bitcoin and all
569
00:30:21.720 --> 00:30:25.559
the like the real old school like stoic economists, like
570
00:30:25.559 --> 00:30:27.200
the Warren Buffets of the world, that you really got
571
00:30:27.240 --> 00:30:30.400
to listen to, the like, what's the practical usage of bitcoin?
572
00:30:30.440 --> 00:30:30.640
Bob?
573
00:30:30.839 --> 00:30:33.480
You may own bitcoin, when is the last time you
574
00:30:33.599 --> 00:30:39.160
made a purchase with bitcoin? Three weeks ago? You bought
575
00:30:39.200 --> 00:30:43.559
you what you with? Yo? You bought you used bitcoin? Okay,
576
00:30:43.599 --> 00:30:47.880
of course, Look, bitcoin, bitcoin is is a it's and
577
00:30:47.920 --> 00:30:49.519
I know I'm going to piss off the crypto bros.
578
00:30:49.559 --> 00:30:52.720
It's it's a made up thing. It's it's just out
579
00:30:52.720 --> 00:30:55.480
of thin air. What's the practical usage. Have you gone
580
00:30:55.519 --> 00:30:57.759
Have you bought a car with bitcoin? Have you bought
581
00:30:57.799 --> 00:31:00.640
groceries with bitcoin? I mean, are b this is? I mean,
582
00:31:00.680 --> 00:31:02.880
I know some businesses accept bitcoin, I know some of
583
00:31:02.880 --> 00:31:07.079
my colleagues in the criminal defense world, except it I don't.
584
00:31:08.079 --> 00:31:10.680
But I just don't think there's enough practical usage to
585
00:31:10.759 --> 00:31:12.880
make it a commodity. I still think it's kind of
586
00:31:12.880 --> 00:31:15.880
this make believe thing. And I think, look, I'm either
587
00:31:15.920 --> 00:31:17.480
going to be completely wrong and it's going to hit
588
00:31:17.519 --> 00:31:19.559
a million dollars and I'm gonna be kicking myself going wide.
589
00:31:19.559 --> 00:31:21.480
Did and I buy it at eighty eight thousand or
590
00:31:21.519 --> 00:31:23.319
one day, it's just going to implode. Who the hell
591
00:31:23.359 --> 00:31:26.799
knows My brother Herman, he's had it for eight years.
592
00:31:26.839 --> 00:31:28.519
He's probably got one hundred million dollars worth.
593
00:31:29.920 --> 00:31:33.119
Yeah, well, you know what, he's got more discipline than
594
00:31:33.119 --> 00:31:34.599
I do, because if I had one hundred million dollars
595
00:31:34.599 --> 00:31:36.519
worth of bitcoin, I'd be selling it. I wouldn't hang
596
00:31:36.559 --> 00:31:38.039
on to it to hit a billion, because I wouldn't
597
00:31:38.039 --> 00:31:39.039
take the chance. That wouldn't.
598
00:31:39.799 --> 00:31:40.640
Oh, he's all in.
599
00:31:42.240 --> 00:31:46.240
Anyways, Well, anyways, guys, so this is the last show
600
00:31:46.279 --> 00:31:49.799
of twenty twenty five. Next weekend, I will be gone
601
00:31:49.880 --> 00:31:52.480
four New Year's We'll be back the first week of
602
00:31:52.559 --> 00:31:55.480
January twenty twenty six. Now on the back nine of
603
00:31:55.519 --> 00:31:58.319
the twenty twenties, this decade is going by faster than
604
00:31:58.400 --> 00:32:00.799
any decade previously. But I just think that's as we
605
00:32:00.839 --> 00:32:04.799
get older, our memories get shorter. Time just goes by well.
606
00:32:04.839 --> 00:32:08.799
Our perspectives changed, because when you're a kid, it's like
607
00:32:08.839 --> 00:32:12.200
Brian Adams in Summer sixty nine, the summer seemed to
608
00:32:12.240 --> 00:32:14.960
last forever. And that's a true line because I remember
609
00:32:14.960 --> 00:32:17.720
being a kid and more like a summer breaking, which
610
00:32:17.759 --> 00:32:21.440
is twelve weeks. If that, it was all the time
611
00:32:21.480 --> 00:32:23.319
in the world. And now it's like I blink and like,
612
00:32:23.359 --> 00:32:26.279
oh shit, it was just October and now almost in January.
613
00:32:27.440 --> 00:32:30.759
I something recently of time is I had five minutes, okay,
614
00:32:30.960 --> 00:32:34.440
and then five minutes took like twelve hours. It seemed like,
615
00:32:34.759 --> 00:32:37.000
you know, we don't care about time. It flies when
616
00:32:37.039 --> 00:32:38.960
you care about time, like slows down.
617
00:32:40.839 --> 00:32:43.240
The crazy thing about time, without getting too into the
618
00:32:43.240 --> 00:32:45.920
weeds on it is it doesn't exist. We've completely we
619
00:32:46.000 --> 00:32:49.079
made it up. All we have our revolutions of the
620
00:32:49.119 --> 00:32:51.720
earth and revolutions around the sun, that's all we have.
621
00:32:52.200 --> 00:32:56.440
All of time, all of existence since life first appeared
622
00:32:56.640 --> 00:33:00.319
to this very instant, is linear. It's completely linear. It's
623
00:33:00.440 --> 00:33:04.599
one straight road. And we have figured out, namely for
624
00:33:04.839 --> 00:33:08.240
agrarian reasons, like okay, like this is how much sunlight
625
00:33:08.319 --> 00:33:10.240
we get, and this is how much time we need
626
00:33:10.279 --> 00:33:12.759
to farm. So we broke it up into days and
627
00:33:12.799 --> 00:33:15.720
different cultures. The Romans had their calendar, the Hebrews still
628
00:33:15.759 --> 00:33:19.079
have their calendar. It's like the year five thousand. Different
629
00:33:19.119 --> 00:33:21.559
cultures figured out how to break it up, and we
630
00:33:21.720 --> 00:33:24.000
just decided for the sake convenience. Okay, this is how
631
00:33:24.000 --> 00:33:27.440
long it takes for We established a measurement of time
632
00:33:27.680 --> 00:33:29.240
for how long it takes for the earth to make
633
00:33:29.240 --> 00:33:31.920
one complete revolution and around the sun. So it's all.
634
00:33:31.960 --> 00:33:34.359
It's all made up. It's all made up. Time is
635
00:33:34.400 --> 00:33:36.440
in our heads, you know. It's just we're just here
636
00:33:36.519 --> 00:33:39.599
and all we have is existence, and just make the
637
00:33:39.640 --> 00:33:42.880
most of it, man, because shit, like life, it goes
638
00:33:42.920 --> 00:33:44.200
by too fast, it really does.
639
00:33:45.000 --> 00:33:46.240
I'm going outside after it this.
640
00:33:47.440 --> 00:33:51.119
Go outside, touch grass, live, enjoy the sun. Thank you,
641
00:33:51.400 --> 00:33:53.720
thank you all for giving us a platform and keeping
642
00:33:53.799 --> 00:33:57.160
us around for this long. And have a wonderful, wonderful
643
00:33:57.160 --> 00:33:59.279
New Years. We will see you next year. God bless,
644
00:34:00.319 --> 00:34:22.559
God bless indeed, take everybody. Two K Yeah America, Yeah,
645
00:34:35.559 --> 00:34:36.960
looking of America.
