ABOUT THIS EPISODE
What makes a library haunted? In this episode of the You Two Scare Me Podcast, Andi and Feliz explore five reportedly haunted libraries across the United States where ghostly figures, unexplained sounds, mysterious books, chilling encounters, and even paranormal video footage have left visitors wondering whether they are ever truly alone among the stacks.
The journey begins at Willard Library in Evansville, Indiana, home of the legendary Grey Lady and a network of public ghost cams. Then we head to the Los Angeles Central Library, a landmark with a devastating arson history, eerie rumors, and an unexpected connection to Ghostbusters. In Baltimore, the grand George Peabody Library is said to be visited by a scholarly ghost who may still be helping readers find the right books.
Andi and Feliz also investigate the Horne Library at South Piedmont Community College in North Carolina, where students documented strange activity, and Bangor Public Library in Maine, where a historic couch connected to Abraham Lincoln’s vice president is reportedly linked to a quiet, pale apparition.
Are libraries haunted because they occupy old buildings, hold centuries of stories, and become quiet after dark—or is something unseen lingering between the shelves? Listen for ghost stories, haunted history, paranormal encounters, unexplained phenomena, and plenty of laughter as Andi and Feliz dive into the shadows.
