WEBVTT
1
00:00:15.439 --> 00:00:20.320
The sun of a security systems technician is not currently
2
00:00:20.359 --> 00:00:21.800
a champion, but.
3
00:00:21.800 --> 00:00:23.000
He's holding a title.
4
00:00:24.280 --> 00:00:27.079
That is the Winged Eagle Championship. It was used in
5
00:00:27.160 --> 00:00:28.879
the WWE.
6
00:00:28.199 --> 00:00:31.160
Beginning in nineteen eighty eight my Hong Kongan. It was
7
00:00:31.199 --> 00:00:34.159
retired in nineteen ninety eight My Stone called Steve Austin
8
00:00:36.159 --> 00:00:39.679
at Saturday Ice made event back in December. After losing
9
00:00:39.719 --> 00:00:43.000
to Cody Roads, Kevin Owens attacked Roads, hit him with
10
00:00:43.039 --> 00:00:46.840
a package pile driver and took that title. Triple LHS
11
00:00:46.840 --> 00:00:49.439
gave Kevin Owens that title, I should say gave Cody
12
00:00:49.520 --> 00:00:51.759
Road to the title that night to bring it out
13
00:00:51.759 --> 00:00:52.240
for one night.
14
00:00:52.280 --> 00:00:54.399
Owen, Kevin Owens is delusional.
15
00:00:55.000 --> 00:00:57.520
He thinks he's a champion, but he actually hasn't been
16
00:00:57.560 --> 00:00:59.759
a world champion in eight years.
17
00:01:01.079 --> 00:01:03.799
I gotta pull you up on that, Michael Gold. Deep
18
00:01:03.920 --> 00:01:07.879
down the spot of the postering of Kevin Owens.
19
00:01:07.680 --> 00:01:10.519
There is no delusion there. He knows full well that
20
00:01:10.599 --> 00:01:11.280
the wing.
21
00:01:11.079 --> 00:01:14.959
Eagle Championship on his shoulder is never going to be
22
00:01:14.959 --> 00:01:15.840
read up in.
23
00:01:15.879 --> 00:01:17.040
The Red Gold Fox.
24
00:01:17.120 --> 00:01:22.480
It's simply being used to antagonize the real champ, Cody.
25
00:01:22.239 --> 00:01:25.200
Roads, dead under his skin, dead in his head.
26
00:01:25.359 --> 00:01:29.359
Pulled Cody Roads down from his elevated level to the
27
00:01:29.519 --> 00:01:33.519
level of the Bellinger Prize fights up Kevin Owens. That
28
00:01:33.760 --> 00:01:37.200
is when Kevin Owens wants this fight to be fooled.
29
00:01:37.400 --> 00:01:40.319
The title might not beat anything in reality, but for
30
00:01:40.439 --> 00:01:44.319
Kevin Owens, it is not a swagger an attitude and
31
00:01:44.439 --> 00:01:45.439
a mossie back.
32
00:01:48.480 --> 00:01:50.439
He thinks he's acting champion out there right now.
33
00:01:50.480 --> 00:01:54.439
I actually spoke to both Owens and Kevin Is Kevin
34
00:01:54.480 --> 00:01:55.760
Owens and Cody Roads today.
35
00:01:56.040 --> 00:01:58.120
They told me that they are determined.
36
00:01:58.439 --> 00:02:02.799
I'm hurting and furnishing each other in this match tonight.
37
00:02:03.719 --> 00:02:07.439
Geordag's beachwere He's gonna win this matchup, even if it
38
00:02:07.640 --> 00:02:11.479
kills him in the process. That is a dangerous mindset
39
00:02:11.879 --> 00:02:15.680
when you're in the ring with a pugnacious fight like ko.
40
00:02:31.280 --> 00:02:34.840
I love that we have a ladder match and Kevin
41
00:02:34.879 --> 00:02:38.960
Owens is in it. Here in front of seventy thousand
42
00:02:39.039 --> 00:02:40.479
people in a football stadium.
43
00:02:40.479 --> 00:02:42.919
The official in this match tonight is Dan Angler. He
44
00:02:43.039 --> 00:02:46.000
is wearing the refcam on his head. Will get to
45
00:02:46.039 --> 00:02:48.240
me in each shot during this match up tonight.
46
00:02:49.719 --> 00:02:53.080
Well, he looks ridiculous, but it's gonna be a great viewing.
47
00:02:53.879 --> 00:02:56.560
As we get close up to the action, Dan Angler,
48
00:02:56.599 --> 00:02:59.759
one of the finest reps in the history of refing. Nonsense,
49
00:03:00.719 --> 00:03:38.439
absolute nonsense. I could well Sam you do shut up.
50
00:04:06.039 --> 00:04:11.240
He's cursed in he's last down. He works his ass off,
51
00:04:11.560 --> 00:04:15.360
he takes pride in what he does. This is a
52
00:04:15.479 --> 00:04:20.839
champion that the Midwest is certainly proud up.
53
00:04:24.319 --> 00:04:29.319
All class, old style, the here and now on this industry.
54
00:04:29.920 --> 00:04:33.519
Who is Quin simply preferred to get in a street
55
00:04:33.639 --> 00:04:36.560
fund tonight. That's the only way he can do bassle
56
00:04:37.040 --> 00:04:41.480
with Kevin Owens down on Jersey and scramble up that
57
00:04:41.680 --> 00:04:42.959
lot of however you chance.
58
00:04:53.720 --> 00:05:00.160
He's got perfect teeth, perfect hair, a perfect championship built.
59
00:05:02.000 --> 00:05:03.639
But he's not scared to smack.
60
00:05:03.879 --> 00:05:06.639
Well, let's check out those teeth at the end of
61
00:05:06.720 --> 00:05:10.639
this match up up the Kevin Owens says, inevitably tell
62
00:05:10.720 --> 00:05:13.399
the number of WWE's golden Court.
63
00:05:14.800 --> 00:05:18.879
This is perhaps the toughest time of defense for Cody
64
00:05:19.040 --> 00:05:22.279
right since he won the championship some three hundred days
65
00:05:22.319 --> 00:05:26.319
ago at WrestleMania, the night he finished the story, I
66
00:05:26.439 --> 00:05:28.879
mean the records setting raid of Roman raids.
67
00:05:28.920 --> 00:05:31.879
If Tony's saying the hell, it's superstition.
68
00:05:34.680 --> 00:05:37.519
One. Kay's gonna hold you from here. You're going to
69
00:05:37.600 --> 00:05:38.240
wall tonight.
70
00:05:38.600 --> 00:05:42.120
He's locked into you can tell by the look in
71
00:05:42.199 --> 00:05:52.519
his eyes. And we'll talk about a potential trap game.
72
00:05:52.680 --> 00:05:55.879
Feel here for Cody Road. WrestleMania starts tonight.
73
00:05:57.240 --> 00:06:02.040
The man who has become the quarterback w hat touchdown
74
00:06:02.120 --> 00:06:07.040
it earlier, never says no involved in anything the company
75
00:06:07.120 --> 00:06:10.480
wants him involved in. He's a true leader, but he helps.
76
00:06:10.519 --> 00:06:12.959
He leaves tonight as the true champion.
77
00:06:18.360 --> 00:06:22.519
The following contest, He's a letterer man.
78
00:06:25.639 --> 00:06:32.240
And it is born the Undisputed w W.
79
00:06:33.759 --> 00:06:35.199
Chee He and.
80
00:06:35.480 --> 00:06:46.839
Shape introducing Quest the Challenger, Remville come Back Canada, weghing
81
00:06:47.639 --> 00:06:52.959
Hat two hundred and forty two pounds Chiming.
82
00:06:54.000 --> 00:07:05.639
Oohs and his opponent.
83
00:07:06.839 --> 00:07:13.560
From It, Lnton Shuta. Why again not two hundred and
84
00:07:13.720 --> 00:07:15.040
twenty two pounds?
85
00:07:15.639 --> 00:07:20.879
He is b and this beauty w W.
86
00:07:22.639 --> 00:07:27.040
Champion The American Nightmare.
87
00:07:27.959 --> 00:07:30.439
Judy who.
88
00:07:33.759 --> 00:07:37.439
Cody Rhoades has changed. His life has changed.
89
00:07:38.399 --> 00:07:41.199
Cody Rhodes is now the hunted. He is no longer
90
00:07:41.399 --> 00:07:45.800
the hunter in Wade. You've known Cody for so so long.
91
00:07:47.000 --> 00:07:50.399
This is a much different American Nightmare.
92
00:07:50.639 --> 00:07:52.560
Yeah, I'm doubtedly called listen.
93
00:07:52.720 --> 00:07:56.319
When you are trying to climb Mount Everest, as Cody
94
00:07:56.399 --> 00:08:00.879
did for his entire career until Russell Maimie last year,
95
00:08:01.199 --> 00:08:04.360
you have a different mindset. There's an open eyed approach,
96
00:08:04.399 --> 00:08:07.319
there's an almost joy in that process. I want you
97
00:08:07.480 --> 00:08:10.560
reach the top of that mountain. That's when the real
98
00:08:10.759 --> 00:08:13.399
work begins. And Cody, as you mentioned, never says no
99
00:08:13.560 --> 00:08:16.879
to the company. He tries to be the perfect ambassador
100
00:08:17.160 --> 00:08:18.720
to this entire industry.
101
00:08:18.800 --> 00:08:21.360
For me, he's on a fool's errand that's a mistake.
102
00:08:21.480 --> 00:08:24.120
And with that point made, the man sitting next to
103
00:08:24.279 --> 00:08:27.439
is Pat McAfee here tonight is much like Cody, and
104
00:08:27.480 --> 00:08:30.800
the fact that he's constantly working seven days a week,
105
00:08:31.040 --> 00:08:31.720
twenty four.
106
00:08:31.639 --> 00:08:33.519
Hours a day. Pat, it wears on you.
107
00:08:33.639 --> 00:08:35.480
I talked to you last week. When you're one of
108
00:08:35.519 --> 00:08:37.399
that type of schedules, you just break down.
109
00:08:37.879 --> 00:08:40.519
He certainly can. Your body gets top. But this is
110
00:08:40.519 --> 00:08:42.320
what you dream of. You want to do that. You
111
00:08:42.399 --> 00:08:43.919
want to be known as a working us. You want
112
00:08:43.960 --> 00:08:45.679
to be known as somebody that does it the right way.
113
00:08:45.879 --> 00:08:49.039
We'll take it from someone who's been in that position before. Cmpoint.
114
00:08:49.080 --> 00:08:51.440
We all heard his words to Cody Roads this past
115
00:08:51.480 --> 00:08:55.120
week on Raw, the pressure is getting to Cody Roads.
116
00:08:55.200 --> 00:08:57.120
His body is getting ground down.
117
00:08:57.279 --> 00:09:01.200
There are over seventy thousand people at Lucas Oil Stadium
118
00:09:01.240 --> 00:09:02.000
in Indianapolis.
119
00:09:02.919 --> 00:09:04.399
Cody Rhodes is the champion.
120
00:09:04.559 --> 00:09:06.039
Kevin Owens is the challenger.
121
00:09:06.679 --> 00:09:10.200
The wing needle Eagle title, the WWE title hang above
122
00:09:10.240 --> 00:09:12.720
the rank. You have to climb a ladder, retrieve the
123
00:09:12.840 --> 00:09:17.000
championships to become the champman and solidify.
124
00:09:16.519 --> 00:09:18.360
Your spot at WrestleMania.
125
00:09:19.000 --> 00:09:21.879
Indianapolis wants to see these two peak the hell out
126
00:09:21.919 --> 00:09:34.279
of the telling well they're gonna get exactly well, they
127
00:09:34.360 --> 00:09:36.200
want potts. They promised to cut.
128
00:09:36.120 --> 00:09:39.759
Us one another maybe in each other's career. Here tonight,
129
00:09:40.000 --> 00:09:42.559
that is where this one time friendship is in. And
130
00:09:42.639 --> 00:09:46.519
there's the front down big right hand by Cody. Remember
131
00:09:46.639 --> 00:09:48.919
Kevin Owens believed that Cody stabbed him in the back
132
00:09:49.159 --> 00:09:52.600
and has turned Kevin into a delusional, a jealous, a
133
00:09:52.759 --> 00:09:55.919
bitter man in a high held though by the dangerous Owens.
134
00:09:55.960 --> 00:09:59.000
Well, Cody Rose invoted this upon himself when his then
135
00:09:59.279 --> 00:10:04.720
friend David Owens was offered a championship match against Cody Rhad.
136
00:10:04.799 --> 00:10:07.399
You remember the matchup. It ended up Cody was the
137
00:10:07.440 --> 00:10:10.600
big because Ko couldn't find the killing in State, but
138
00:10:10.679 --> 00:10:12.240
then I guess he's refound it now.
139
00:10:12.320 --> 00:10:14.440
And then Cody Rhodes would go and team with Owen's
140
00:10:14.559 --> 00:10:17.679
arch enemy Roman Rains back in October, and that really
141
00:10:17.759 --> 00:10:20.399
set Kevin Owens off the deep end until he would.
142
00:10:20.159 --> 00:10:23.399
Attack Cody Rhodes in the parking lot in Atlanta. It's
143
00:10:23.399 --> 00:10:24.519
set off the sile rinks.
144
00:10:24.559 --> 00:10:27.279
Well, don't forget what Kevin Owens did the Roads friend, Randy,
145
00:10:27.759 --> 00:10:29.720
since we haven't seen since that attack.
146
00:10:29.879 --> 00:10:33.440
Well, Ko's to an on countless close phrase in the past,
147
00:10:33.559 --> 00:10:36.600
especially when Gold is up for grabbling as Sammy's a
148
00:10:36.799 --> 00:10:38.679
Kobe Kingston jont saying of.
149
00:10:38.720 --> 00:10:41.679
The list goes off looking for a souplex into the
150
00:10:41.919 --> 00:10:42.720
steel ladder.
151
00:10:43.559 --> 00:10:47.240
Anything goes here. He still, we're gonna take advantage, and
152
00:10:47.600 --> 00:10:48.679
oh my goodness.
153
00:10:48.399 --> 00:10:50.960
Oh my godness, Cody went right through the ladder.
154
00:10:51.879 --> 00:10:55.039
We're gonna need a new ladder. Guys, this one ain't
155
00:10:55.039 --> 00:10:55.960
gonna look anymore.
156
00:10:56.080 --> 00:10:58.360
The official really has nothing to do in this match,
157
00:10:58.879 --> 00:11:00.840
just has to make sure that the titles come down
158
00:11:00.919 --> 00:11:03.039
the balls the winner and talk about him.
159
00:11:03.480 --> 00:11:07.720
He got lacerating from that metal. Oh my, speaking off
160
00:11:08.879 --> 00:11:11.440
when it's all profitently legal.
161
00:11:11.639 --> 00:11:14.919
This is exactly why a matchup like this plays completely
162
00:11:15.320 --> 00:11:18.080
into the hands of the prize cad.
163
00:11:17.480 --> 00:11:19.879
Owen al latter as a weapon Wade.
164
00:11:20.080 --> 00:11:24.480
I cannot remember a friendship going so bad so quickly,
165
00:11:24.720 --> 00:11:27.759
to the point where these men absolutely hate one another.
166
00:11:28.039 --> 00:11:29.840
As Cody is threading into the barricade.
167
00:11:29.919 --> 00:11:34.279
When it comes to Kevin Owens call all friendships all temporary,
168
00:11:34.440 --> 00:11:35.679
that transactionary.
169
00:11:35.799 --> 00:11:36.759
Well it Owen's good.
170
00:11:36.679 --> 00:11:39.399
Great because he doesn't care about anybody else but himself.
171
00:11:39.519 --> 00:11:41.000
He cares about the goo.
172
00:11:41.120 --> 00:11:45.240
Tody an't caring about himself got him a championship opportunity.
173
00:11:44.720 --> 00:11:47.080
Here in World Lumbo all he sends Ko out of
174
00:11:47.159 --> 00:11:51.279
the w W fans here in Indianapolis, coding now coach
175
00:11:51.399 --> 00:11:53.799
on the barricade, tucks underneath, and now they're fighting out
176
00:11:53.799 --> 00:11:56.919
into the crowd or no count out, fous qualifications, not
177
00:11:57.120 --> 00:11:58.559
take false, no submissience.
178
00:11:59.320 --> 00:12:02.279
And this is a big old stadium and it's essentially
179
00:12:02.399 --> 00:12:05.639
become the playground of Kevin Owens Tony Roads.
180
00:12:05.720 --> 00:12:08.440
Beer to the fights, Get me next, Cody's that nice
181
00:12:08.519 --> 00:12:12.240
cold beer. I need one of those. Believe me, I
182
00:12:12.360 --> 00:12:14.120
haven't seen and now Ko.
183
00:12:17.159 --> 00:12:20.039
Hard to see and this this sea of of people
184
00:12:20.120 --> 00:12:22.159
here tonight, Kevin and Cody.
185
00:12:22.240 --> 00:12:24.720
I mean, this is just this is like a bar fight.
186
00:12:25.080 --> 00:12:27.080
Hard to see with I p a in your eyes too,
187
00:12:27.240 --> 00:12:30.679
but they are still bawling on a bit situency. And
188
00:12:30.759 --> 00:12:33.240
now look at up Kyo the how and he slaps
189
00:12:33.559 --> 00:12:35.080
Cody right off the cable.
190
00:12:38.240 --> 00:12:40.799
Any pigs all up and you want to beat the
191
00:12:40.919 --> 00:12:43.879
hell out of a guy. I mean, you can brawl
192
00:12:44.000 --> 00:12:46.039
all you want around this arena.
193
00:12:46.120 --> 00:12:47.639
Oh which is won and lost?
194
00:12:48.120 --> 00:12:50.559
That's hop a lot of in the middle of the rainwall.
195
00:12:50.639 --> 00:12:53.639
Incapacitate your opponent of things are gonna.
196
00:12:53.399 --> 00:12:55.120
Get a hell of a lot easy all wait, you know.
197
00:12:55.159 --> 00:12:57.440
It is in Cody's jeans, right, Dusty one.
198
00:12:57.320 --> 00:13:01.919
Of the greatest all time brawlers or Dustin Roads a
199
00:13:02.080 --> 00:13:04.480
massive hand in the wise of Kevin Owens in the
200
00:13:04.639 --> 00:13:06.840
WWE Umbrella of Colts not old.
201
00:13:06.879 --> 00:13:08.200
Throw to one side now.
202
00:13:08.200 --> 00:13:10.600
And Dean, what Dusty did for Kevin and so many
203
00:13:10.639 --> 00:13:12.200
other men and women.
204
00:13:12.120 --> 00:13:15.919
Down at NXTV Performance Center. And how Kevin Owens turns
205
00:13:15.960 --> 00:13:16.840
his attention.
206
00:13:16.600 --> 00:13:18.360
To Rhodes with a kick right to the rips.
207
00:13:18.559 --> 00:13:22.919
There's an absolute look just disgust and just staying on
208
00:13:23.039 --> 00:13:25.799
the face of Kevin Owens here and that has.
209
00:13:25.720 --> 00:13:28.000
Been that love for several months now called But the
210
00:13:28.120 --> 00:13:32.039
truth is victory tonight for Ko and an old count
211
00:13:32.200 --> 00:13:33.600
Sunshine and Lady.
212
00:13:33.679 --> 00:13:35.320
Yeah once again for the prize pot.
213
00:13:35.360 --> 00:13:37.960
But what if he doesn't win, Well, he'll find a
214
00:13:38.039 --> 00:13:39.399
reason for why it didn't happen.
215
00:13:39.559 --> 00:13:43.039
We assume him. That's Ko wrestling well.
216
00:13:43.080 --> 00:13:45.679
Kevin Owens now sends Cody owns up all under the
217
00:13:45.799 --> 00:13:47.559
ladder and then bounce.
218
00:13:47.360 --> 00:13:48.039
Into the floor.
219
00:13:49.200 --> 00:13:52.600
Kevin Owens right, Wherry wants to be stocking Cody Rhades.
220
00:13:52.759 --> 00:13:55.600
Well, Cody has completely been basted into the trap of
221
00:13:55.679 --> 00:13:59.799
Kevin Owens. This is exactly the style Ko excels him,
222
00:14:00.000 --> 00:14:03.480
perhaps more than anybody else on the WW.
223
00:14:03.679 --> 00:14:06.440
Well, there's a reason it's fight Owens, fight right, fight forever.
224
00:14:06.720 --> 00:14:09.200
Kevin Owens now setting up the ladder. Cody Rhads is
225
00:14:09.240 --> 00:14:11.399
down outside the ring. Kevin's gotta climb the ladder and
226
00:14:11.440 --> 00:14:12.360
grab the championships.
227
00:14:12.399 --> 00:14:13.039
Hear me the champ.
228
00:14:13.279 --> 00:14:16.320
Kevin Rowan Owens now look gonna climb Cody back in
229
00:14:16.399 --> 00:14:18.720
the ring to the Service championship, at least for now.
230
00:14:20.519 --> 00:14:23.519
No other man in history has had more title matches
231
00:14:23.879 --> 00:14:27.399
at the Royal rumble than Kevin Owens has as he
232
00:14:27.480 --> 00:14:28.759
dumps Cody outside the ring.
233
00:14:29.000 --> 00:14:29.519
On again.
234
00:14:29.720 --> 00:14:30.799
We're gonna climb the ladder.
235
00:14:30.960 --> 00:14:34.600
Kevin Owens down, Cody intercepts again playing defense.
236
00:14:35.840 --> 00:14:37.799
Well, Cody has been on the back foot for the
237
00:14:37.960 --> 00:14:39.519
vist majority of the matchup.
238
00:14:39.639 --> 00:14:44.039
Thus fall of Low. Things may be changing before our eyes.
239
00:14:44.120 --> 00:14:48.919
The street fights inside, Cody Rhodes is coming to the full.
240
00:14:50.679 --> 00:14:53.759
Ladies and gentlemen, you're getting an unbelievable scene here at
241
00:14:53.879 --> 00:14:57.360
Lucas Oil Stadium. There's over seventy thousand and we've been
242
00:14:57.440 --> 00:15:01.200
told this is the third largest gate in w w
243
00:15:01.440 --> 00:15:05.240
E history, bigger than any single night WrestleMania ever. And
244
00:15:05.320 --> 00:15:08.120
now Cody Rojo bag off the announced table here.
245
00:15:10.559 --> 00:15:10.919
Jeez.
246
00:15:11.240 --> 00:15:14.639
The first was WrestleMania Sunday last year, followed by WrestleMania
247
00:15:14.679 --> 00:15:15.639
Saturday last year.
248
00:15:15.480 --> 00:15:16.919
And now the rumble at number three.
249
00:15:17.399 --> 00:15:21.000
Kevin Owens now buying bouncing off Cody, and Kevin Owens
250
00:15:21.240 --> 00:15:21.799
is losing it.
251
00:15:22.039 --> 00:15:24.440
The look on Owen's face, I'm not looking.
252
00:15:26.240 --> 00:15:26.399
Right.
253
00:15:28.600 --> 00:15:29.200
He didn't mean that.
254
00:15:29.519 --> 00:15:34.039
The careful what you say right now, Michael Paul to
255
00:15:34.159 --> 00:15:36.000
the son of a security systems.
256
00:15:35.639 --> 00:15:38.320
Technician, Carol's ready to snap I'm gonna pull you up.
257
00:15:38.399 --> 00:15:41.799
Cole Carolin losing anything, it's Cody Rose who's losing it.
258
00:15:42.039 --> 00:15:43.600
He's losing the dumb match.
259
00:15:43.759 --> 00:15:46.960
And now Kevin Owens a dragging yet another ladder out,
260
00:15:47.519 --> 00:15:49.919
just this look of disgust on his face.
261
00:15:50.039 --> 00:15:51.840
An instrument of torture.
262
00:15:52.159 --> 00:15:54.320
And now their hands are Kevin Owens and now building
263
00:15:54.399 --> 00:15:57.919
a bridge between the the announced table and the ring.
264
00:15:58.360 --> 00:16:01.000
Kevin Owens, now get out of the way. Pat I
265
00:16:01.080 --> 00:16:05.840
am n her yup yup, yup, yup, yup. I have
266
00:16:05.960 --> 00:16:08.399
no idea what Owens is he's planning to do here,
267
00:16:09.000 --> 00:16:10.879
Cody wrote though, fighting back and sliding.
268
00:16:10.679 --> 00:16:13.440
Up a four detaster as he sends Owens.
269
00:16:13.279 --> 00:16:16.399
Into the steps, A much needed burst of life from
270
00:16:16.440 --> 00:16:20.399
the WWE champ and a crucial moment. Things starting to
271
00:16:20.440 --> 00:16:24.759
look bleak for Cody. But now he may have swung
272
00:16:24.840 --> 00:16:26.879
the pendulum in his own favorite and if he can
273
00:16:26.960 --> 00:16:30.159
scramble of this letter, he wins the match just like that.
274
00:16:30.360 --> 00:16:32.639
Yeah, but Cody just trying to regroup here, trying to
275
00:16:32.720 --> 00:16:35.279
drag the ladder back to the center of the ring. Meanwhile,
276
00:16:35.960 --> 00:16:37.799
Kevin Owens with a step ladder here.
277
00:16:37.879 --> 00:16:40.679
With an incredibly short step ladder, oh, and using that
278
00:16:40.840 --> 00:16:41.600
to his advantage.
279
00:16:41.600 --> 00:16:43.159
I think Corslot will use that once.
280
00:16:43.399 --> 00:16:47.360
Or you can swing that thing around with abandoned tajo
281
00:16:47.720 --> 00:16:51.039
a pod and scramble his brains out of his body,
282
00:16:51.440 --> 00:16:55.600
leave him and capacitated, and take a leisurely climb up
283
00:16:55.679 --> 00:16:56.200
that ladder.
284
00:16:56.320 --> 00:16:57.879
Ko's tactics a bang on.
285
00:16:58.039 --> 00:16:59.600
You've been in the money in the bank ladder match
286
00:16:59.679 --> 00:17:01.000
and others as well.
287
00:17:01.159 --> 00:17:04.359
Yeah, I hate every second of incredibly painful and actually
288
00:17:04.880 --> 00:17:07.599
suplex Cody off the top of a twelve foot lighter
289
00:17:07.680 --> 00:17:09.720
in that might jump and that was the end of me.
290
00:17:09.880 --> 00:17:11.279
These are the worst kind of match.
291
00:17:11.359 --> 00:17:15.400
He's doing high risk Owens, by the heck with it,
292
00:17:16.160 --> 00:17:19.799
it was more mid risk, I guess small risk, blot
293
00:17:19.799 --> 00:17:23.720
of risk, forget it. Kevin Owens is not in the
294
00:17:23.839 --> 00:17:26.279
business of giving the people what they want.
295
00:17:26.640 --> 00:17:30.359
He's in the business of giving himself by lenders bad oh,
296
00:17:30.599 --> 00:17:31.839
the little lenders back.
297
00:17:32.000 --> 00:17:35.640
Now Cody using it as a woman Goddy's cannon, the
298
00:17:35.720 --> 00:17:39.240
little ladder and now bouncing the ladder off. Ko collapses
299
00:17:39.279 --> 00:17:39.720
in the court.
300
00:17:40.799 --> 00:17:43.359
I'll tell you what, this little ladder is certainly a menace.
301
00:17:46.599 --> 00:17:48.960
And now Cody owns with Kevin down going to try
302
00:17:49.039 --> 00:17:52.640
to sending the ladder to graft a champion chips.
303
00:17:52.440 --> 00:17:56.440
And retain his title. Look how slow Cody's going. And
304
00:17:56.519 --> 00:17:58.079
now I get a lot of light to the knee,
305
00:17:58.440 --> 00:18:01.720
right to the knee of Cody from ko take out
306
00:18:01.720 --> 00:18:03.480
and knee. How the hell do you climb the ladder?
307
00:18:03.519 --> 00:18:06.119
Oh, and out of any elbowe of Cody Roads.
308
00:18:06.359 --> 00:18:08.519
Cody Roads is sunk and out of the mid section
309
00:18:08.680 --> 00:18:12.599
of Cody batted and bruised a body that had already
310
00:18:12.680 --> 00:18:15.680
beaten people beating up without package poles or even several
311
00:18:15.759 --> 00:18:16.279
weeks ago.
312
00:18:16.519 --> 00:18:18.559
I'm not sure he's one hundred percent coming into this
313
00:18:18.720 --> 00:18:19.119
might job.
314
00:18:20.000 --> 00:18:22.400
Oh no, now, right out of the ladder, I can
315
00:18:22.519 --> 00:18:24.160
tell you Kevin Owens is at one hundred.
316
00:18:23.920 --> 00:18:24.480
Percent of the brain.
317
00:18:24.559 --> 00:18:27.920
That's the short, oh mine in Coddy Roads money just
318
00:18:28.000 --> 00:18:30.680
broke every further brain on that little ladder, and not
319
00:18:31.039 --> 00:18:31.680
being one.
320
00:18:31.640 --> 00:18:35.240
Hundred percent in the brain is perhaps an advantage in a.
321
00:18:35.279 --> 00:18:37.039
Match up this dangerous.
322
00:18:37.960 --> 00:18:40.599
Watch this and watch the impact of Cody.
323
00:18:40.799 --> 00:18:47.119
It's metal steal rearranging Cody Roads entire spinal colling.
324
00:18:48.799 --> 00:18:50.440
He said, co'ble shot there from the ladder.
325
00:18:50.519 --> 00:18:52.960
Yeah, Kevin Owens taken down, Coddy Roads down trying to
326
00:18:53.000 --> 00:18:55.759
set the ladder up. It's about survival, that's all. This
327
00:18:55.960 --> 00:18:57.920
is about surviving and grabbing the titles.
328
00:18:58.039 --> 00:19:00.799
Well, that's exactly how Cody Roads got himself to the
329
00:19:01.000 --> 00:19:03.359
WWE Championship in the first place.
330
00:19:03.400 --> 00:19:05.079
It was a long, arduous claw.
331
00:19:05.119 --> 00:19:07.400
Almost there, Cody's got his hands on the title.
332
00:19:07.519 --> 00:19:09.880
Gonna go up one more wrong, Kevin Owens trying to
333
00:19:09.960 --> 00:19:13.359
hang on. Cody Roads down has his hands of the championship,
334
00:19:13.519 --> 00:19:17.319
but Tony Hat get high about the ring. This could
335
00:19:17.359 --> 00:19:18.200
be a disaster.
336
00:19:18.680 --> 00:19:21.720
The American night Mare though, edwal maneuver back to the ladder.
337
00:19:22.000 --> 00:19:24.640
Kevin Owens trying to make sure that Cody doesn't win
338
00:19:24.680 --> 00:19:26.079
the title, retain the title.
339
00:19:26.160 --> 00:19:28.880
Here our champion was just dangling twenty feet in the
340
00:19:28.960 --> 00:19:30.480
sky old fingertips.
341
00:19:30.599 --> 00:19:32.079
Oh my goodness.
342
00:19:33.240 --> 00:19:36.359
Cody apparently go for a hurricane ron or something, but
343
00:19:36.960 --> 00:19:41.440
Kemy O pulls off Bard was essentially a pop up powerbomb.
344
00:19:43.519 --> 00:19:47.240
I don't know how Cody continues to go after this.
345
00:19:49.799 --> 00:19:51.960
How much more can our champs body take?
346
00:19:53.599 --> 00:19:56.240
We're talking about bodies. A lot is made about physiques
347
00:19:56.359 --> 00:20:01.119
in WWE. Ko has the perfect physique, friendness, punishment.
348
00:20:01.400 --> 00:20:05.000
Cody certainly does not, and Kevin continues to punish Roads,
349
00:20:05.720 --> 00:20:08.960
driving Cody into the ladder again. Kevin Owens has really
350
00:20:09.039 --> 00:20:10.559
dominated most of this match.
351
00:20:10.720 --> 00:20:14.960
One more durability. That is what Kevin Owens is built for.
352
00:20:15.200 --> 00:20:19.279
This is Kevin Owens wheelhouse and Cody Rhoads has made
353
00:20:19.319 --> 00:20:22.759
the mistake of all mistakes and allowing insult to bet
354
00:20:22.839 --> 00:20:25.559
and heaven. As Kevin's climbing to the top of the ladder,
355
00:20:25.680 --> 00:20:26.839
they're going to win the world title.
356
00:20:27.000 --> 00:20:30.960
Cody wrote down title literally, fetch plus the ladder and
357
00:20:31.119 --> 00:20:32.599
Covin out with a kick to the mid section.
358
00:20:33.440 --> 00:20:37.480
Just too much left in the tankular WWE champ Cody
359
00:20:37.640 --> 00:20:41.000
Roads with that indefatigable human spirit.
360
00:20:41.160 --> 00:20:44.119
You were You weren't buying Wade's argument Kevin Owens and
361
00:20:44.160 --> 00:20:45.559
the physique being better.
362
00:20:45.359 --> 00:20:47.119
For this matchup. No, I think it is good. I
363
00:20:47.160 --> 00:20:48.880
think it's callous. I think he's ready to take the
364
00:20:48.960 --> 00:20:51.079
abuse a little bit more. I mean, nobody wants to
365
00:20:51.119 --> 00:20:53.200
be in a ladder match, but Kevin Owens this is
366
00:20:53.240 --> 00:20:54.200
a home game for him.
367
00:20:54.519 --> 00:20:57.759
There was an element of Mick Foley about Kevin Owens
368
00:20:57.839 --> 00:21:00.480
and his style and that body that took Foley all
369
00:21:00.519 --> 00:21:01.680
the way to the Taunt While it might.
370
00:21:01.839 --> 00:21:04.480
Oh and it's interesting you said that because earlier today
371
00:21:05.000 --> 00:21:08.079
I saw Nick Foley in heavy conversation with Kevin Owens.
372
00:21:08.319 --> 00:21:11.160
Mick was here earlier on as down Cody has driven
373
00:21:11.200 --> 00:21:12.400
into the steps.
374
00:21:12.559 --> 00:21:14.880
Hit first Love to have been a fly on the
375
00:21:14.960 --> 00:21:18.079
wall for that conversation. It seems like Kevin Owens doesn't
376
00:21:18.119 --> 00:21:22.079
want to speak to anybody whatsoever current labor. Perhaps the
377
00:21:22.160 --> 00:21:24.279
Hall of Famer Mick Fawley got through to him and
378
00:21:24.599 --> 00:21:26.160
gave him some tactical advice.
379
00:21:31.039 --> 00:21:34.079
Kevin Owens down back in the ring along with Cody Roads.
380
00:21:36.440 --> 00:21:39.240
It has been a fight the majority of KO in
381
00:21:39.279 --> 00:21:41.200
this batch so far. Cody, We're gonna turn things around
382
00:21:41.279 --> 00:21:42.480
any day, do that like Kevin?
383
00:21:42.519 --> 00:21:50.599
That's your flex not readjusted quickly snapsupplex by Cody Rhones.
384
00:21:51.160 --> 00:21:52.599
He's taking a beating tonight.
385
00:21:53.440 --> 00:21:53.640
Yeah.
386
00:21:53.640 --> 00:21:57.000
As much as we make up the durability of Kevin Owens,
387
00:21:57.039 --> 00:22:00.279
it pays to remember that he is still a human being.
388
00:22:02.119 --> 00:22:05.319
We all have fragilities and when they're exposed, and Cody
389
00:22:05.440 --> 00:22:09.119
may have exposed a fragility in Kevin Owens, will Caddy
390
00:22:09.240 --> 00:22:10.759
take advantage.
391
00:22:11.799 --> 00:22:14.559
Later minute, Cody Road just busted off the lower rung
392
00:22:14.599 --> 00:22:15.200
of the ladder.
393
00:22:15.400 --> 00:22:18.400
Where have I seen that before? Tactic of mine? Once
394
00:22:18.480 --> 00:22:19.880
upon a time, I think.
395
00:22:19.799 --> 00:22:22.480
That way Berett invented this tactic and.
396
00:22:22.519 --> 00:22:24.920
I used it on Cody Roadse. He clearly learned a
397
00:22:25.119 --> 00:22:25.880
trick or two.
398
00:22:26.240 --> 00:22:28.880
Cody Rhodes using the bottom rung of that ladder.
399
00:22:28.599 --> 00:22:31.200
There's a weapon. But he runs into a super kickbo Owens.
400
00:22:31.680 --> 00:22:33.960
Well, that was almost game over for Kevin Owens. I
401
00:22:34.039 --> 00:22:36.359
was like being beaten up with a baseball by all
402
00:22:36.599 --> 00:22:37.599
completely legal.
403
00:22:37.720 --> 00:22:39.839
Of course, that straut of the ladder.
404
00:22:40.279 --> 00:22:42.759
Two or three more shots on the frame of Cavin
405
00:22:42.880 --> 00:22:44.640
Owens and he may have been down for good.
406
00:22:44.680 --> 00:22:48.039
My pat Cody does not look good right now, I plagy.
407
00:22:48.680 --> 00:22:51.400
We're deep into a ladder match. Nobody's gonna look at
408
00:22:51.480 --> 00:22:56.359
this stage. Whoa pig lefts from Kevin Owen.
409
00:22:56.119 --> 00:22:58.400
The South Park, all those left cap that just that
410
00:22:58.799 --> 00:23:01.680
mocking Cody's custody rose.
411
00:23:01.559 --> 00:23:04.599
And there there's the ladder right right off the face
412
00:23:04.680 --> 00:23:05.160
of Roads.
413
00:23:05.319 --> 00:23:08.640
Well, Cody Roads essentially falling on his own sword.
414
00:23:08.759 --> 00:23:12.640
Now introduced that struts of the ladder into the matchup.
415
00:23:13.279 --> 00:23:15.920
Didn't get the job done against Ko. And listen, I
416
00:23:16.000 --> 00:23:17.839
know Kevin Owens wants to punish Cody.
417
00:23:18.000 --> 00:23:19.599
I know he wants to destroy this guy.
418
00:23:19.799 --> 00:23:21.880
But Kevin Owens is a position how to climb the
419
00:23:21.920 --> 00:23:24.400
damn ladder and grab the titles and win the championship.
420
00:23:24.559 --> 00:23:26.799
But instead he wants to beat the hell out of
421
00:23:26.839 --> 00:23:29.880
Cody here and again to the skull of Roads. Because
422
00:23:29.960 --> 00:23:34.759
Cody Rhodes is not an ordinary superstar, He's extra special.
423
00:23:34.880 --> 00:23:36.960
That's what got to get to the goal in the
424
00:23:37.119 --> 00:23:40.000
first place is smarts from Kevin Owens.
425
00:23:40.519 --> 00:23:43.160
Do not go for the goal too soon. And I
426
00:23:43.400 --> 00:23:44.400
finished the job.
427
00:23:44.440 --> 00:23:46.400
And I also told the story of talking about what
428
00:23:46.480 --> 00:23:49.880
he's met earlier today, and it's all about punishing perhaps
429
00:23:50.079 --> 00:23:53.000
ending careers. That is what Owens and Rhodes wanted to
430
00:23:53.039 --> 00:23:54.079
do to each other tonight.
431
00:23:54.279 --> 00:23:56.480
Well, if you end someone's career who is in a
432
00:23:56.599 --> 00:23:58.920
matchup with you, how easy is it gonna be for
433
00:23:59.000 --> 00:24:01.440
you to climb that line to grab the gold?
434
00:24:01.599 --> 00:24:05.680
Killed two buds, we walk spoke the Owens is trying
435
00:24:05.680 --> 00:24:08.519
to end careers every match that he's in, wanting to
436
00:24:08.559 --> 00:24:09.720
do whatever to have success.
437
00:24:11.160 --> 00:24:15.039
Cody then five ladder matches in his career, but all
438
00:24:15.119 --> 00:24:16.799
of them money in the bank ladder matches, And again
439
00:24:16.880 --> 00:24:17.960
with the griddle ladder.
440
00:24:18.039 --> 00:24:19.200
You have bounced off roads.
441
00:24:19.839 --> 00:24:22.160
The roads just has nothing left. The time is empty
442
00:24:22.279 --> 00:24:26.559
that there's a ball of steel getting thrown around. These
443
00:24:26.640 --> 00:24:28.160
guys are battering each.
444
00:24:27.960 --> 00:24:31.240
Omny, guess what we need another ladder? Don't you have
445
00:24:31.400 --> 00:24:34.079
enough in the ring already? They're all broken call. That's
446
00:24:34.160 --> 00:24:37.279
part of the problem, and so is the body of
447
00:24:37.440 --> 00:24:41.200
the w W E. Cody Rhoads gotta crawl out of
448
00:24:41.240 --> 00:24:41.480
the way.
449
00:24:41.519 --> 00:24:44.480
You gotta clear some traffic. Too many ladders in the ring.
450
00:24:44.720 --> 00:24:46.359
You're trying to get those lots out of that.
451
00:24:46.519 --> 00:24:49.640
So Kevin Owens called his buddy up with them, but
452
00:24:49.759 --> 00:24:50.880
it might be too late for that.
453
00:24:51.039 --> 00:25:01.640
Cody's Kevin Owen's setting up here, furniture here, This looks
454
00:25:02.200 --> 00:25:03.880
painful job.
455
00:25:05.000 --> 00:25:08.359
It could be, especially if you hit this cony now
456
00:25:08.920 --> 00:25:11.519
trying to fight back. Realize it could have been a disaster.
457
00:25:11.720 --> 00:25:15.480
There big four arm by Owens and another one to Cody,
458
00:25:15.519 --> 00:25:17.400
and Cody just has not been able to find any.
459
00:25:17.279 --> 00:25:19.559
Sort of groove in this good ol John Lovel's coming.
460
00:25:19.640 --> 00:25:22.920
Oh my god, No, not that not not, oh my god.
461
00:25:36.319 --> 00:25:36.519
Oh.
462
00:25:37.279 --> 00:25:43.799
Kevin Owens was going for a package piled riber. Cody
463
00:25:43.960 --> 00:25:45.319
Rhoads countered there the.
464
00:25:45.559 --> 00:25:48.160
Fast body drive through that damn ladder.
465
00:25:48.960 --> 00:25:52.279
Well, Kevin Owens was attempting to finish the career of
466
00:25:52.480 --> 00:25:55.799
Tony Roads once and for all. A package pile drive
467
00:25:55.920 --> 00:25:59.000
up on that ladder would suddenly have done it, and
468
00:25:59.119 --> 00:26:02.160
there was some burning and be left in the soul
469
00:26:02.400 --> 00:26:03.440
of Cony Rhodes.
470
00:26:03.559 --> 00:26:06.359
Now Cody with an opportunity wig Kevin Owens is down.
471
00:26:06.400 --> 00:26:08.599
He may not be able to walk Cody Roads down
472
00:26:08.680 --> 00:26:10.880
trying to place the ladder and win this match.
473
00:26:10.960 --> 00:26:13.079
Well, I can't believe Cody Roads is back up on
474
00:26:13.160 --> 00:26:13.519
his feet.
475
00:26:13.559 --> 00:26:15.880
You would behoove him to scramble up that lader with
476
00:26:16.079 --> 00:26:18.160
everything he's got get this one over.
477
00:26:18.359 --> 00:26:21.400
He's draight to a doctor, trying to do.
478
00:26:21.440 --> 00:26:21.880
What he can.
479
00:26:22.200 --> 00:26:25.680
Kevin Owens might have some internal leading Kevin Owens running interference,
480
00:26:26.200 --> 00:26:27.200
trying to play defense.
481
00:26:27.240 --> 00:26:29.799
But Cody Roase is close to the top. Kevin Owens down,
482
00:26:29.920 --> 00:26:32.720
Oh my goodness, not from up there. Kevin Owens has
483
00:26:32.799 --> 00:26:35.119
Tony Roads up top, Owens down.
484
00:26:36.680 --> 00:26:45.400
Back of his head and no exploded through the lot.
485
00:26:45.319 --> 00:26:53.960
Of Just listen to this, where is a very very
486
00:26:54.240 --> 00:27:01.400
simple equation bone versus steel. There's only the one winner,
487
00:27:02.799 --> 00:27:05.839
and it certainly was not the body of Cody Rhodes.
488
00:27:06.160 --> 00:27:10.000
This is for the undisputed w w E Championship, and
489
00:27:10.079 --> 00:27:12.880
there's a ladder match in front of over seventy thousand
490
00:27:13.079 --> 00:27:16.240
and Kevin Owens, the challenger, slowly climbing the ladder. Will
491
00:27:16.319 --> 00:27:18.839
this be his destiny? Will this be his moment? His
492
00:27:19.039 --> 00:27:21.680
first title in eight years? Cody Road trying to play
493
00:27:21.759 --> 00:27:24.400
defense here, trying to grab Owens back off the ladder.
494
00:27:29.039 --> 00:27:30.599
I don't know how Cody's even functional.
495
00:27:30.799 --> 00:27:36.319
Cody just crawled out of a major car wreck again,
496
00:27:37.039 --> 00:27:41.640
but he's just delaying the inevitable at this point, angering
497
00:27:41.799 --> 00:27:43.960
Ko further much more.
498
00:27:44.000 --> 00:27:45.400
Get our champion tape.
499
00:27:46.119 --> 00:27:52.319
Cody looks dumb, done and dusted, not unintended A what
500
00:27:52.680 --> 00:27:55.720
instrument of torture is Ko turning to next?
501
00:27:56.839 --> 00:27:58.400
Yeah, the ladder's all over the place.
502
00:27:59.119 --> 00:28:02.880
He's demented, sick, sick in the head. I guarantee you
503
00:28:03.119 --> 00:28:04.559
Owens has been up at night.
504
00:28:05.200 --> 00:28:07.359
Some will call it sick in the head, Others will
505
00:28:07.440 --> 00:28:10.599
call it a winner's mentality, because you have to go
506
00:28:10.759 --> 00:28:11.680
for bro can't wait.
507
00:28:11.799 --> 00:28:14.039
This guy is sitting up at night thinking it ways
508
00:28:14.119 --> 00:28:18.480
to torture and punish Cody Roads has been I didn't
509
00:28:18.680 --> 00:28:19.160
have to do this.
510
00:28:19.799 --> 00:28:22.319
Stud be highly effective, clearly cold.
511
00:28:23.960 --> 00:28:25.920
Kevin Owens said, I didn't have to do this. It
512
00:28:26.000 --> 00:28:29.319
didn't have to do this way, and Cody quickly back
513
00:28:29.359 --> 00:28:30.720
to his feet. Thank goodness.
514
00:28:31.039 --> 00:28:35.200
Owens family going for the splash. Yeah, we might have
515
00:28:35.200 --> 00:28:38.039
seen Cody Roads splattering right here in front of us.
516
00:28:38.640 --> 00:28:40.599
What does Cody think? And he glanced back at that
517
00:28:40.799 --> 00:28:46.160
ladder that Kevin had set up. Cody Roads Now.
518
00:28:49.319 --> 00:28:52.680
Ain't a minute? Oh no, oh no, no, no, yeah,
519
00:28:52.799 --> 00:28:53.759
my god, Owens.
520
00:28:53.559 --> 00:29:00.440
Is houcking the leg stops sust that duster to the ladder, got.
521
00:29:00.359 --> 00:29:12.519
The ladder, Hey boy, may die checking pulses.
522
00:29:17.640 --> 00:29:29.039
Show the human body we've got. Ah, he's not supposed
523
00:29:29.079 --> 00:29:29.799
to endament.
524
00:29:30.119 --> 00:29:32.640
We've got some Uh we have this ficials channel manager
525
00:29:32.720 --> 00:29:35.440
Nick all this uh are down here, bolt men are
526
00:29:35.519 --> 00:29:40.640
down all this trying to figure out how badly hurt
527
00:29:40.720 --> 00:29:41.880
both Owens and Rhodes are.
528
00:29:42.119 --> 00:29:46.160
What's he's saying? Oh the ends the same of his
529
00:29:46.279 --> 00:29:48.200
Walm team. But these are human beings.
530
00:29:49.160 --> 00:29:53.079
By pizza and uh, oh my, look it's here.
531
00:29:53.160 --> 00:29:55.440
Wait a minute, Sammy's date is here.
532
00:29:56.559 --> 00:29:59.559
Well, Kelvin Owens told to Sammy's dying about a quid
533
00:29:59.680 --> 00:30:02.599
plug quote here at the Royal Ride that come on,
534
00:30:02.720 --> 00:30:05.000
I Sammy, you help me, I'll help you and let's
535
00:30:05.039 --> 00:30:06.559
meet in the main event of Russell.
536
00:30:06.359 --> 00:30:08.400
Mary, Sammy's friends with both of these guys.
537
00:30:10.160 --> 00:30:13.119
Sammy might be worried about them, becauesn't what they've done
538
00:30:13.200 --> 00:30:13.640
to each other.
539
00:30:14.039 --> 00:30:17.079
Oh no, no, I smell a fix. But I don't
540
00:30:17.200 --> 00:30:19.559
like this at all. I'm getting a hint of that
541
00:30:19.720 --> 00:30:20.559
his well way.
542
00:30:23.960 --> 00:30:24.480
And now.
543
00:30:26.480 --> 00:30:28.680
Sammy again checking out Kevin and and Cody.
544
00:30:29.119 --> 00:30:31.880
Officials are down here trying to figure out thinking if
545
00:30:31.880 --> 00:30:34.960
they can resume this match for the championship.
546
00:30:36.799 --> 00:30:39.480
Both men physically a wreck of this boy is a
547
00:30:39.599 --> 00:30:42.200
question if this match is even gonna continue. But looking
548
00:30:42.680 --> 00:30:46.119
at Kevin Owens, he is taking it out the hands
549
00:30:46.160 --> 00:30:47.119
of the officials.
550
00:30:47.839 --> 00:30:50.759
Well, the match continues, obviously, Kevin Owens is back to
551
00:30:50.880 --> 00:30:53.640
his feet. Owens watched the championship. He wants to put
552
00:30:53.720 --> 00:30:56.319
Cody Rhodes away. Remember you only win when they grab
553
00:30:56.480 --> 00:30:56.960
the titles.
554
00:30:58.240 --> 00:31:00.400
Giving it out here? Do you boys want to went
555
00:31:00.440 --> 00:31:03.359
for the stunner? Toddy Roads down has classed on that
556
00:31:03.519 --> 00:31:11.319
Owens a last roll of the dice, perhaps from Cody Rhodes.
557
00:31:13.480 --> 00:31:16.680
And the Vegas belief the Roads is moving now. Cody
558
00:31:16.759 --> 00:31:19.000
trying to climb the ladder. Kevin Owens, No'm not gonna
559
00:31:19.000 --> 00:31:21.480
allow him to do it. Cody Roads has been to
560
00:31:21.559 --> 00:31:23.640
hell and back in this match and it's continuing.
561
00:31:24.640 --> 00:31:26.799
Romnz Cody Roads as a human spirit.
562
00:31:26.880 --> 00:31:29.279
Oh my goodness, get on a thoutht up right out
563
00:31:29.359 --> 00:31:30.119
tamoe again.
564
00:31:30.319 --> 00:31:34.759
If Tony Roads six tears here, Cody Rhodes has got
565
00:31:34.960 --> 00:31:36.759
Kevin Owens cluster open?
566
00:31:36.880 --> 00:31:39.200
How does he have this mush out? Okay? In this stuff,
567
00:31:39.599 --> 00:31:42.880
Tivid only tan off the punks. Kevin Owens just bust
568
00:31:42.960 --> 00:31:52.000
it up. And Tony Roads, he's a madman. Kevin Owens,
569
00:31:52.160 --> 00:31:56.440
Welcome to your last nightmare. The American Nightmare is alive.
570
00:31:57.480 --> 00:32:01.160
Like jo is busted wide open. The ant serious, but
571
00:32:01.319 --> 00:32:02.640
it's Katon pull it over.
572
00:32:03.359 --> 00:32:08.119
Cody Rose down, targeting the the wound on the face
573
00:32:08.200 --> 00:32:08.599
of Chao.
574
00:32:08.759 --> 00:32:14.400
Don't you want that? Looks you want? I'm tid Tody's
575
00:32:14.440 --> 00:32:15.359
standing on him.
576
00:32:18.039 --> 00:32:22.920
Kevin always brought this upon himself, carryall, caught this upon himself.
577
00:32:23.960 --> 00:32:25.680
He made Cody Roads this way.
578
00:32:28.880 --> 00:32:31.119
It was a few moments ago they would both be
579
00:32:31.200 --> 00:32:34.200
asked if they wanted to quit nuts on a long.
580
00:32:34.119 --> 00:32:38.799
Ball of desperation blow by Covin Owens.
581
00:32:41.799 --> 00:32:45.000
Kevin Owens looking to end the couple, cobbled.
582
00:32:44.839 --> 00:32:48.160
Me champing right here, No.
583
00:32:48.319 --> 00:32:52.519
No, no, look it right that packets pile driver.
584
00:32:52.839 --> 00:32:55.440
Or Cody able to counter?
585
00:33:00.920 --> 00:33:02.519
I got us set up.
586
00:33:02.799 --> 00:33:03.799
Crowd on the ladder.
587
00:33:04.319 --> 00:33:07.039
Kevin Awens card that side out.
588
00:33:16.279 --> 00:33:21.039
Home and meanwhile, Cony Roodse back into the ring. Cony
589
00:33:21.160 --> 00:33:25.400
Rhod's gonna take the opportunity to climb the ladder. Well,
590
00:33:25.519 --> 00:33:28.759
Kevin Owens has to be finished air hole. Cody Rhodes
591
00:33:28.839 --> 00:33:29.640
is near to the top.
592
00:33:30.240 --> 00:33:36.759
Cody Rhodes, how's the champion? Simpson head. Kevin Owens might
593
00:33:36.799 --> 00:33:38.920
be done. We're good.
594
00:33:39.839 --> 00:33:42.319
Cody Rhodes on top of the ladder.
595
00:33:42.599 --> 00:33:44.160
Kevin Owens has not moved.
596
00:33:46.200 --> 00:33:52.880
Cony Rhodes takes down one title. Cody Rhodes takes down another.
597
00:33:53.559 --> 00:33:54.680
Cony Roads wins.
598
00:33:57.519 --> 00:33:59.079
Here's your winner.
599
00:34:00.400 --> 00:34:09.760
Step disputed w W heel sod.
600
00:34:16.320 --> 00:34:20.360
Cody Rhoads hops to be headed to WrestleMania as the champion.
601
00:34:21.320 --> 00:34:24.519
We may find out in the rumbling match next who
602
00:34:24.639 --> 00:34:29.039
he will face. Meanwhile, serious concern here at ringside for
603
00:34:29.440 --> 00:34:32.880
Kevin Owens. Our doctors out here checking on him.
604
00:34:35.400 --> 00:34:38.719
One of the most sickening matches we have ever witnessed
605
00:34:39.639 --> 00:34:44.440
in w w WE the human spirit and Cody Rhoades
606
00:34:44.559 --> 00:34:45.480
droven through this.
607
00:34:46.800 --> 00:34:52.119
Kevin hasn't moved and he's too. We're willing to hand
608
00:34:52.320 --> 00:34:56.360
all to win. Thought it was over for Cody then
609
00:34:57.480 --> 00:34:58.039
and then we.
610
00:35:00.079 --> 00:35:04.320
This was the moment Keroo tried to end Cody Rhoads
611
00:35:04.360 --> 00:35:08.079
booking with a package wile driver on either the steps
612
00:35:08.719 --> 00:35:11.599
or the table. The Cody Roads power through with this
613
00:35:12.280 --> 00:35:16.079
Ala Pama slam on those at the landing of Kevin Owens.
614
00:35:16.159 --> 00:35:17.320
This is a crucial part.
615
00:35:17.639 --> 00:35:22.880
It's essentially held first for the prize cut up as
616
00:35:22.920 --> 00:35:25.239
the latter snapped and Keto has.
617
00:35:25.199 --> 00:35:29.400
Been folded up like an accordion ever since Cony Roads
618
00:35:29.480 --> 00:35:32.719
did what he had to do tonight. Cody Roads furnished
619
00:35:32.800 --> 00:35:37.320
his story at WrestleMania, but the latest book is now
620
00:35:37.480 --> 00:35:42.320
being written. The maturation process of Cody.
621
00:35:42.119 --> 00:35:45.599
Rhoads over the last ten months and he's.
622
00:35:45.519 --> 00:35:53.800
Realizing, as the Dumptywee champion, you have no friends.
623
00:35:57.000 --> 00:35:57.199
Fight.
624
00:35:58.320 --> 00:36:06.760
Kevin Owens is an absolute bess, bloody matter and broken
625
00:36:06.880 --> 00:36:09.000
as our champion, and.
626
00:36:09.119 --> 00:36:12.679
That's the only white you can beat. The prize fights up.
627
00:36:13.639 --> 00:36:17.039
Cody Rhodes did it went to the depths of humanity
628
00:36:17.800 --> 00:36:19.159
because that is how much.
629
00:36:20.440 --> 00:36:21.920
But here's the championship me.
630
00:36:22.039 --> 00:36:25.360
Here's the story weight at ringside, Kevin Owens being attended
631
00:36:25.400 --> 00:36:28.960
to a very concerned general manager, very concerned friend, Sammy's
632
00:36:29.000 --> 00:36:30.639
Aim Goddy.
633
00:36:30.400 --> 00:36:35.039
Rhodes though, did what he had to do to keep his.
634
00:36:35.159 --> 00:36:39.119
Championship and ensure the opportunity to go to WrestleMania.
635
00:36:39.440 --> 00:36:42.119
It's supposed to be a joyous mobile, but the casserve
636
00:36:42.239 --> 00:36:44.519
fall Kevin Owens is so high right now.
637
00:36:45.000 --> 00:36:48.199
I mean, we're all struggling to celebrate now run all
638
00:36:48.280 --> 00:36:49.039
over our desk.
639
00:36:49.800 --> 00:36:53.039
I hate to be callous about this, Waid, because we're
640
00:36:53.079 --> 00:36:57.320
talking about a human being here. But Kevin Owens, he
641
00:36:57.440 --> 00:37:02.800
brought all of this upon himself. He let his bitter
642
00:37:03.039 --> 00:37:03.719
jealousy and.
643
00:37:05.480 --> 00:37:09.039
Just get to him drove him over the edge.
644
00:37:11.760 --> 00:37:13.800
The woman does he say about Cady Roads that he
645
00:37:13.960 --> 00:37:17.079
was able to raise himself to the exact same level
646
00:37:17.119 --> 00:37:20.320
at such a deranged individual.
647
00:37:19.840 --> 00:37:21.880
As Kevin OWDs. As we go, let's take going.
648
00:37:22.440 --> 00:37:29.079
Yeah, welcome back Ken Andy Cody Rhoads, the champion will
649
00:37:29.159 --> 00:37:34.760
celebrate tonight after one of the most courageous performances of
650
00:37:34.920 --> 00:37:35.480
his career.
651
00:37:36.760 --> 00:37:43.599
I want to win, want a fight from Kevin Owens.
1
00:00:15.439 --> 00:00:20.320
The sun of a security systems technician is not currently
2
00:00:20.359 --> 00:00:21.800
a champion, but.
3
00:00:21.800 --> 00:00:23.000
He's holding a title.
4
00:00:24.280 --> 00:00:27.079
That is the Winged Eagle Championship. It was used in
5
00:00:27.160 --> 00:00:28.879
the WWE.
6
00:00:28.199 --> 00:00:31.160
Beginning in nineteen eighty eight my Hong Kongan. It was
7
00:00:31.199 --> 00:00:34.159
retired in nineteen ninety eight My Stone called Steve Austin
8
00:00:36.159 --> 00:00:39.679
at Saturday Ice made event back in December. After losing
9
00:00:39.719 --> 00:00:43.000
to Cody Roads, Kevin Owens attacked Roads, hit him with
10
00:00:43.039 --> 00:00:46.840
a package pile driver and took that title. Triple LHS
11
00:00:46.840 --> 00:00:49.439
gave Kevin Owens that title, I should say gave Cody
12
00:00:49.520 --> 00:00:51.759
Road to the title that night to bring it out
13
00:00:51.759 --> 00:00:52.240
for one night.
14
00:00:52.280 --> 00:00:54.399
Owen, Kevin Owens is delusional.
15
00:00:55.000 --> 00:00:57.520
He thinks he's a champion, but he actually hasn't been
16
00:00:57.560 --> 00:00:59.759
a world champion in eight years.
17
00:01:01.079 --> 00:01:03.799
I gotta pull you up on that, Michael Gold. Deep
18
00:01:03.920 --> 00:01:07.879
down the spot of the postering of Kevin Owens.
19
00:01:07.680 --> 00:01:10.519
There is no delusion there. He knows full well that
20
00:01:10.599 --> 00:01:11.280
the wing.
21
00:01:11.079 --> 00:01:14.959
Eagle Championship on his shoulder is never going to be
22
00:01:14.959 --> 00:01:15.840
read up in.
23
00:01:15.879 --> 00:01:17.040
The Red Gold Fox.
24
00:01:17.120 --> 00:01:22.480
It's simply being used to antagonize the real champ, Cody.
25
00:01:22.239 --> 00:01:25.200
Roads, dead under his skin, dead in his head.
26
00:01:25.359 --> 00:01:29.359
Pulled Cody Roads down from his elevated level to the
27
00:01:29.519 --> 00:01:33.519
level of the Bellinger Prize fights up Kevin Owens. That
28
00:01:33.760 --> 00:01:37.200
is when Kevin Owens wants this fight to be fooled.
29
00:01:37.400 --> 00:01:40.319
The title might not beat anything in reality, but for
30
00:01:40.439 --> 00:01:44.319
Kevin Owens, it is not a swagger an attitude and
31
00:01:44.439 --> 00:01:45.439
a mossie back.
32
00:01:48.480 --> 00:01:50.439
He thinks he's acting champion out there right now.
33
00:01:50.480 --> 00:01:54.439
I actually spoke to both Owens and Kevin Is Kevin
34
00:01:54.480 --> 00:01:55.760
Owens and Cody Roads today.
35
00:01:56.040 --> 00:01:58.120
They told me that they are determined.
36
00:01:58.439 --> 00:02:02.799
I'm hurting and furnishing each other in this match tonight.
37
00:02:03.719 --> 00:02:07.439
Geordag's beachwere He's gonna win this matchup, even if it
38
00:02:07.640 --> 00:02:11.479
kills him in the process. That is a dangerous mindset
39
00:02:11.879 --> 00:02:15.680
when you're in the ring with a pugnacious fight like ko.
40
00:02:31.280 --> 00:02:34.840
I love that we have a ladder match and Kevin
41
00:02:34.879 --> 00:02:38.960
Owens is in it. Here in front of seventy thousand
42
00:02:39.039 --> 00:02:40.479
people in a football stadium.
43
00:02:40.479 --> 00:02:42.919
The official in this match tonight is Dan Angler. He
44
00:02:43.039 --> 00:02:46.000
is wearing the refcam on his head. Will get to
45
00:02:46.039 --> 00:02:48.240
me in each shot during this match up tonight.
46
00:02:49.719 --> 00:02:53.080
Well, he looks ridiculous, but it's gonna be a great viewing.
47
00:02:53.879 --> 00:02:56.560
As we get close up to the action, Dan Angler,
48
00:02:56.599 --> 00:02:59.759
one of the finest reps in the history of refing. Nonsense,
49
00:03:00.719 --> 00:03:38.439
absolute nonsense. I could well Sam you do shut up.
50
00:04:06.039 --> 00:04:11.240
He's cursed in he's last down. He works his ass off,
51
00:04:11.560 --> 00:04:15.360
he takes pride in what he does. This is a
52
00:04:15.479 --> 00:04:20.839
champion that the Midwest is certainly proud up.
53
00:04:24.319 --> 00:04:29.319
All class, old style, the here and now on this industry.
54
00:04:29.920 --> 00:04:33.519
Who is Quin simply preferred to get in a street
55
00:04:33.639 --> 00:04:36.560
fund tonight. That's the only way he can do bassle
56
00:04:37.040 --> 00:04:41.480
with Kevin Owens down on Jersey and scramble up that
57
00:04:41.680 --> 00:04:42.959
lot of however you chance.
58
00:04:53.720 --> 00:05:00.160
He's got perfect teeth, perfect hair, a perfect championship built.
59
00:05:02.000 --> 00:05:03.639
But he's not scared to smack.
60
00:05:03.879 --> 00:05:06.639
Well, let's check out those teeth at the end of
61
00:05:06.720 --> 00:05:10.639
this match up up the Kevin Owens says, inevitably tell
62
00:05:10.720 --> 00:05:13.399
the number of WWE's golden Court.
63
00:05:14.800 --> 00:05:18.879
This is perhaps the toughest time of defense for Cody
64
00:05:19.040 --> 00:05:22.279
right since he won the championship some three hundred days
65
00:05:22.319 --> 00:05:26.319
ago at WrestleMania, the night he finished the story, I
66
00:05:26.439 --> 00:05:28.879
mean the records setting raid of Roman raids.
67
00:05:28.920 --> 00:05:31.879
If Tony's saying the hell, it's superstition.
68
00:05:34.680 --> 00:05:37.519
One. Kay's gonna hold you from here. You're going to
69
00:05:37.600 --> 00:05:38.240
wall tonight.
70
00:05:38.600 --> 00:05:42.120
He's locked into you can tell by the look in
71
00:05:42.199 --> 00:05:52.519
his eyes. And we'll talk about a potential trap game.
72
00:05:52.680 --> 00:05:55.879
Feel here for Cody Road. WrestleMania starts tonight.
73
00:05:57.240 --> 00:06:02.040
The man who has become the quarterback w hat touchdown
74
00:06:02.120 --> 00:06:07.040
it earlier, never says no involved in anything the company
75
00:06:07.120 --> 00:06:10.480
wants him involved in. He's a true leader, but he helps.
76
00:06:10.519 --> 00:06:12.959
He leaves tonight as the true champion.
77
00:06:18.360 --> 00:06:22.519
The following contest, He's a letterer man.
78
00:06:25.639 --> 00:06:32.240
And it is born the Undisputed w W.
79
00:06:33.759 --> 00:06:35.199
Chee He and.
80
00:06:35.480 --> 00:06:46.839
Shape introducing Quest the Challenger, Remville come Back Canada, weghing
81
00:06:47.639 --> 00:06:52.959
Hat two hundred and forty two pounds Chiming.
82
00:06:54.000 --> 00:07:05.639
Oohs and his opponent.
83
00:07:06.839 --> 00:07:13.560
From It, Lnton Shuta. Why again not two hundred and
84
00:07:13.720 --> 00:07:15.040
twenty two pounds?
85
00:07:15.639 --> 00:07:20.879
He is b and this beauty w W.
86
00:07:22.639 --> 00:07:27.040
Champion The American Nightmare.
87
00:07:27.959 --> 00:07:30.439
Judy who.
88
00:07:33.759 --> 00:07:37.439
Cody Rhoades has changed. His life has changed.
89
00:07:38.399 --> 00:07:41.199
Cody Rhodes is now the hunted. He is no longer
90
00:07:41.399 --> 00:07:45.800
the hunter in Wade. You've known Cody for so so long.
91
00:07:47.000 --> 00:07:50.399
This is a much different American Nightmare.
92
00:07:50.639 --> 00:07:52.560
Yeah, I'm doubtedly called listen.
93
00:07:52.720 --> 00:07:56.319
When you are trying to climb Mount Everest, as Cody
94
00:07:56.399 --> 00:08:00.879
did for his entire career until Russell Maimie last year,
95
00:08:01.199 --> 00:08:04.360
you have a different mindset. There's an open eyed approach,
96
00:08:04.399 --> 00:08:07.319
there's an almost joy in that process. I want you
97
00:08:07.480 --> 00:08:10.560
reach the top of that mountain. That's when the real
98
00:08:10.759 --> 00:08:13.399
work begins. And Cody, as you mentioned, never says no
99
00:08:13.560 --> 00:08:16.879
to the company. He tries to be the perfect ambassador
100
00:08:17.160 --> 00:08:18.720
to this entire industry.
101
00:08:18.800 --> 00:08:21.360
For me, he's on a fool's errand that's a mistake.
102
00:08:21.480 --> 00:08:24.120
And with that point made, the man sitting next to
103
00:08:24.279 --> 00:08:27.439
is Pat McAfee here tonight is much like Cody, and
104
00:08:27.480 --> 00:08:30.800
the fact that he's constantly working seven days a week,
105
00:08:31.040 --> 00:08:31.720
twenty four.
106
00:08:31.639 --> 00:08:33.519
Hours a day. Pat, it wears on you.
107
00:08:33.639 --> 00:08:35.480
I talked to you last week. When you're one of
108
00:08:35.519 --> 00:08:37.399
that type of schedules, you just break down.
109
00:08:37.879 --> 00:08:40.519
He certainly can. Your body gets top. But this is
110
00:08:40.519 --> 00:08:42.320
what you dream of. You want to do that. You
111
00:08:42.399 --> 00:08:43.919
want to be known as a working us. You want
112
00:08:43.960 --> 00:08:45.679
to be known as somebody that does it the right way.
113
00:08:45.879 --> 00:08:49.039
We'll take it from someone who's been in that position before. Cmpoint.
114
00:08:49.080 --> 00:08:51.440
We all heard his words to Cody Roads this past
115
00:08:51.480 --> 00:08:55.120
week on Raw, the pressure is getting to Cody Roads.
116
00:08:55.200 --> 00:08:57.120
His body is getting ground down.
117
00:08:57.279 --> 00:09:01.200
There are over seventy thousand people at Lucas Oil Stadium
118
00:09:01.240 --> 00:09:02.000
in Indianapolis.
119
00:09:02.919 --> 00:09:04.399
Cody Rhodes is the champion.
120
00:09:04.559 --> 00:09:06.039
Kevin Owens is the challenger.
121
00:09:06.679 --> 00:09:10.200
The wing needle Eagle title, the WWE title hang above
122
00:09:10.240 --> 00:09:12.720
the rank. You have to climb a ladder, retrieve the
123
00:09:12.840 --> 00:09:17.000
championships to become the champman and solidify.
124
00:09:16.519 --> 00:09:18.360
Your spot at WrestleMania.
125
00:09:19.000 --> 00:09:21.879
Indianapolis wants to see these two peak the hell out
126
00:09:21.919 --> 00:09:34.279
of the telling well they're gonna get exactly well, they
127
00:09:34.360 --> 00:09:36.200
want potts. They promised to cut.
128
00:09:36.120 --> 00:09:39.759
Us one another maybe in each other's career. Here tonight,
129
00:09:40.000 --> 00:09:42.559
that is where this one time friendship is in. And
130
00:09:42.639 --> 00:09:46.519
there's the front down big right hand by Cody. Remember
131
00:09:46.639 --> 00:09:48.919
Kevin Owens believed that Cody stabbed him in the back
132
00:09:49.159 --> 00:09:52.600
and has turned Kevin into a delusional, a jealous, a
133
00:09:52.759 --> 00:09:55.919
bitter man in a high held though by the dangerous Owens.
134
00:09:55.960 --> 00:09:59.000
Well, Cody Rose invoted this upon himself when his then
135
00:09:59.279 --> 00:10:04.720
friend David Owens was offered a championship match against Cody Rhad.
136
00:10:04.799 --> 00:10:07.399
You remember the matchup. It ended up Cody was the
137
00:10:07.440 --> 00:10:10.600
big because Ko couldn't find the killing in State, but
138
00:10:10.679 --> 00:10:12.240
then I guess he's refound it now.
139
00:10:12.320 --> 00:10:14.440
And then Cody Rhodes would go and team with Owen's
140
00:10:14.559 --> 00:10:17.679
arch enemy Roman Rains back in October, and that really
141
00:10:17.759 --> 00:10:20.399
set Kevin Owens off the deep end until he would.
142
00:10:20.159 --> 00:10:23.399
Attack Cody Rhodes in the parking lot in Atlanta. It's
143
00:10:23.399 --> 00:10:24.519
set off the sile rinks.
144
00:10:24.559 --> 00:10:27.279
Well, don't forget what Kevin Owens did the Roads friend, Randy,
145
00:10:27.759 --> 00:10:29.720
since we haven't seen since that attack.
146
00:10:29.879 --> 00:10:33.440
Well, Ko's to an on countless close phrase in the past,
147
00:10:33.559 --> 00:10:36.600
especially when Gold is up for grabbling as Sammy's a
148
00:10:36.799 --> 00:10:38.679
Kobe Kingston jont saying of.
149
00:10:38.720 --> 00:10:41.679
The list goes off looking for a souplex into the
150
00:10:41.919 --> 00:10:42.720
steel ladder.
151
00:10:43.559 --> 00:10:47.240
Anything goes here. He still, we're gonna take advantage, and
152
00:10:47.600 --> 00:10:48.679
oh my goodness.
153
00:10:48.399 --> 00:10:50.960
Oh my godness, Cody went right through the ladder.
154
00:10:51.879 --> 00:10:55.039
We're gonna need a new ladder. Guys, this one ain't
155
00:10:55.039 --> 00:10:55.960
gonna look anymore.
156
00:10:56.080 --> 00:10:58.360
The official really has nothing to do in this match,
157
00:10:58.879 --> 00:11:00.840
just has to make sure that the titles come down
158
00:11:00.919 --> 00:11:03.039
the balls the winner and talk about him.
159
00:11:03.480 --> 00:11:07.720
He got lacerating from that metal. Oh my, speaking off
160
00:11:08.879 --> 00:11:11.440
when it's all profitently legal.
161
00:11:11.639 --> 00:11:14.919
This is exactly why a matchup like this plays completely
162
00:11:15.320 --> 00:11:18.080
into the hands of the prize cad.
163
00:11:17.480 --> 00:11:19.879
Owen al latter as a weapon Wade.
164
00:11:20.080 --> 00:11:24.480
I cannot remember a friendship going so bad so quickly,
165
00:11:24.720 --> 00:11:27.759
to the point where these men absolutely hate one another.
166
00:11:28.039 --> 00:11:29.840
As Cody is threading into the barricade.
167
00:11:29.919 --> 00:11:34.279
When it comes to Kevin Owens call all friendships all temporary,
168
00:11:34.440 --> 00:11:35.679
that transactionary.
169
00:11:35.799 --> 00:11:36.759
Well it Owen's good.
170
00:11:36.679 --> 00:11:39.399
Great because he doesn't care about anybody else but himself.
171
00:11:39.519 --> 00:11:41.000
He cares about the goo.
172
00:11:41.120 --> 00:11:45.240
Tody an't caring about himself got him a championship opportunity.
173
00:11:44.720 --> 00:11:47.080
Here in World Lumbo all he sends Ko out of
174
00:11:47.159 --> 00:11:51.279
the w W fans here in Indianapolis, coding now coach
175
00:11:51.399 --> 00:11:53.799
on the barricade, tucks underneath, and now they're fighting out
176
00:11:53.799 --> 00:11:56.919
into the crowd or no count out, fous qualifications, not
177
00:11:57.120 --> 00:11:58.559
take false, no submissience.
178
00:11:59.320 --> 00:12:02.279
And this is a big old stadium and it's essentially
179
00:12:02.399 --> 00:12:05.639
become the playground of Kevin Owens Tony Roads.
180
00:12:05.720 --> 00:12:08.440
Beer to the fights, Get me next, Cody's that nice
181
00:12:08.519 --> 00:12:12.240
cold beer. I need one of those. Believe me, I
182
00:12:12.360 --> 00:12:14.120
haven't seen and now Ko.
183
00:12:17.159 --> 00:12:20.039
Hard to see and this this sea of of people
184
00:12:20.120 --> 00:12:22.159
here tonight, Kevin and Cody.
185
00:12:22.240 --> 00:12:24.720
I mean, this is just this is like a bar fight.
186
00:12:25.080 --> 00:12:27.080
Hard to see with I p a in your eyes too,
187
00:12:27.240 --> 00:12:30.679
but they are still bawling on a bit situency. And
188
00:12:30.759 --> 00:12:33.240
now look at up Kyo the how and he slaps
189
00:12:33.559 --> 00:12:35.080
Cody right off the cable.
190
00:12:38.240 --> 00:12:40.799
Any pigs all up and you want to beat the
191
00:12:40.919 --> 00:12:43.879
hell out of a guy. I mean, you can brawl
192
00:12:44.000 --> 00:12:46.039
all you want around this arena.
193
00:12:46.120 --> 00:12:47.639
Oh which is won and lost?
194
00:12:48.120 --> 00:12:50.559
That's hop a lot of in the middle of the rainwall.
195
00:12:50.639 --> 00:12:53.639
Incapacitate your opponent of things are gonna.
196
00:12:53.399 --> 00:12:55.120
Get a hell of a lot easy all wait, you know.
197
00:12:55.159 --> 00:12:57.440
It is in Cody's jeans, right, Dusty one.
198
00:12:57.320 --> 00:13:01.919
Of the greatest all time brawlers or Dustin Roads a
199
00:13:02.080 --> 00:13:04.480
massive hand in the wise of Kevin Owens in the
200
00:13:04.639 --> 00:13:06.840
WWE Umbrella of Colts not old.
201
00:13:06.879 --> 00:13:08.200
Throw to one side now.
202
00:13:08.200 --> 00:13:10.600
And Dean, what Dusty did for Kevin and so many
203
00:13:10.639 --> 00:13:12.200
other men and women.
204
00:13:12.120 --> 00:13:15.919
Down at NXTV Performance Center. And how Kevin Owens turns
205
00:13:15.960 --> 00:13:16.840
his attention.
206
00:13:16.600 --> 00:13:18.360
To Rhodes with a kick right to the rips.
207
00:13:18.559 --> 00:13:22.919
There's an absolute look just disgust and just staying on
208
00:13:23.039 --> 00:13:25.799
the face of Kevin Owens here and that has.
209
00:13:25.720 --> 00:13:28.000
Been that love for several months now called But the
210
00:13:28.120 --> 00:13:32.039
truth is victory tonight for Ko and an old count
211
00:13:32.200 --> 00:13:33.600
Sunshine and Lady.
212
00:13:33.679 --> 00:13:35.320
Yeah once again for the prize pot.
213
00:13:35.360 --> 00:13:37.960
But what if he doesn't win, Well, he'll find a
214
00:13:38.039 --> 00:13:39.399
reason for why it didn't happen.
215
00:13:39.559 --> 00:13:43.039
We assume him. That's Ko wrestling well.
216
00:13:43.080 --> 00:13:45.679
Kevin Owens now sends Cody owns up all under the
217
00:13:45.799 --> 00:13:47.559
ladder and then bounce.
218
00:13:47.360 --> 00:13:48.039
Into the floor.
219
00:13:49.200 --> 00:13:52.600
Kevin Owens right, Wherry wants to be stocking Cody Rhades.
220
00:13:52.759 --> 00:13:55.600
Well, Cody has completely been basted into the trap of
221
00:13:55.679 --> 00:13:59.799
Kevin Owens. This is exactly the style Ko excels him,
222
00:14:00.000 --> 00:14:03.480
perhaps more than anybody else on the WW.
223
00:14:03.679 --> 00:14:06.440
Well, there's a reason it's fight Owens, fight right, fight forever.
224
00:14:06.720 --> 00:14:09.200
Kevin Owens now setting up the ladder. Cody Rhads is
225
00:14:09.240 --> 00:14:11.399
down outside the ring. Kevin's gotta climb the ladder and
226
00:14:11.440 --> 00:14:12.360
grab the championships.
227
00:14:12.399 --> 00:14:13.039
Hear me the champ.
228
00:14:13.279 --> 00:14:16.320
Kevin Rowan Owens now look gonna climb Cody back in
229
00:14:16.399 --> 00:14:18.720
the ring to the Service championship, at least for now.
230
00:14:20.519 --> 00:14:23.519
No other man in history has had more title matches
231
00:14:23.879 --> 00:14:27.399
at the Royal rumble than Kevin Owens has as he
232
00:14:27.480 --> 00:14:28.759
dumps Cody outside the ring.
233
00:14:29.000 --> 00:14:29.519
On again.
234
00:14:29.720 --> 00:14:30.799
We're gonna climb the ladder.
235
00:14:30.960 --> 00:14:34.600
Kevin Owens down, Cody intercepts again playing defense.
236
00:14:35.840 --> 00:14:37.799
Well, Cody has been on the back foot for the
237
00:14:37.960 --> 00:14:39.519
vist majority of the matchup.
238
00:14:39.639 --> 00:14:44.039
Thus fall of Low. Things may be changing before our eyes.
239
00:14:44.120 --> 00:14:48.919
The street fights inside, Cody Rhodes is coming to the full.
240
00:14:50.679 --> 00:14:53.759
Ladies and gentlemen, you're getting an unbelievable scene here at
241
00:14:53.879 --> 00:14:57.360
Lucas Oil Stadium. There's over seventy thousand and we've been
242
00:14:57.440 --> 00:15:01.200
told this is the third largest gate in w w
243
00:15:01.440 --> 00:15:05.240
E history, bigger than any single night WrestleMania ever. And
244
00:15:05.320 --> 00:15:08.120
now Cody Rojo bag off the announced table here.
245
00:15:10.559 --> 00:15:10.919
Jeez.
246
00:15:11.240 --> 00:15:14.639
The first was WrestleMania Sunday last year, followed by WrestleMania
247
00:15:14.679 --> 00:15:15.639
Saturday last year.
248
00:15:15.480 --> 00:15:16.919
And now the rumble at number three.
249
00:15:17.399 --> 00:15:21.000
Kevin Owens now buying bouncing off Cody, and Kevin Owens
250
00:15:21.240 --> 00:15:21.799
is losing it.
251
00:15:22.039 --> 00:15:24.440
The look on Owen's face, I'm not looking.
252
00:15:26.240 --> 00:15:26.399
Right.
253
00:15:28.600 --> 00:15:29.200
He didn't mean that.
254
00:15:29.519 --> 00:15:34.039
The careful what you say right now, Michael Paul to
255
00:15:34.159 --> 00:15:36.000
the son of a security systems.
256
00:15:35.639 --> 00:15:38.320
Technician, Carol's ready to snap I'm gonna pull you up.
257
00:15:38.399 --> 00:15:41.799
Cole Carolin losing anything, it's Cody Rose who's losing it.
258
00:15:42.039 --> 00:15:43.600
He's losing the dumb match.
259
00:15:43.759 --> 00:15:46.960
And now Kevin Owens a dragging yet another ladder out,
260
00:15:47.519 --> 00:15:49.919
just this look of disgust on his face.
261
00:15:50.039 --> 00:15:51.840
An instrument of torture.
262
00:15:52.159 --> 00:15:54.320
And now their hands are Kevin Owens and now building
263
00:15:54.399 --> 00:15:57.919
a bridge between the the announced table and the ring.
264
00:15:58.360 --> 00:16:01.000
Kevin Owens, now get out of the way. Pat I
265
00:16:01.080 --> 00:16:05.840
am n her yup yup, yup, yup, yup. I have
266
00:16:05.960 --> 00:16:08.399
no idea what Owens is he's planning to do here,
267
00:16:09.000 --> 00:16:10.879
Cody wrote though, fighting back and sliding.
268
00:16:10.679 --> 00:16:13.440
Up a four detaster as he sends Owens.
269
00:16:13.279 --> 00:16:16.399
Into the steps, A much needed burst of life from
270
00:16:16.440 --> 00:16:20.399
the WWE champ and a crucial moment. Things starting to
271
00:16:20.440 --> 00:16:24.759
look bleak for Cody. But now he may have swung
272
00:16:24.840 --> 00:16:26.879
the pendulum in his own favorite and if he can
273
00:16:26.960 --> 00:16:30.159
scramble of this letter, he wins the match just like that.
274
00:16:30.360 --> 00:16:32.639
Yeah, but Cody just trying to regroup here, trying to
275
00:16:32.720 --> 00:16:35.279
drag the ladder back to the center of the ring. Meanwhile,
276
00:16:35.960 --> 00:16:37.799
Kevin Owens with a step ladder here.
277
00:16:37.879 --> 00:16:40.679
With an incredibly short step ladder, oh, and using that
278
00:16:40.840 --> 00:16:41.600
to his advantage.
279
00:16:41.600 --> 00:16:43.159
I think Corslot will use that once.
280
00:16:43.399 --> 00:16:47.360
Or you can swing that thing around with abandoned tajo
281
00:16:47.720 --> 00:16:51.039
a pod and scramble his brains out of his body,
282
00:16:51.440 --> 00:16:55.600
leave him and capacitated, and take a leisurely climb up
283
00:16:55.679 --> 00:16:56.200
that ladder.
284
00:16:56.320 --> 00:16:57.879
Ko's tactics a bang on.
285
00:16:58.039 --> 00:16:59.600
You've been in the money in the bank ladder match
286
00:16:59.679 --> 00:17:01.000
and others as well.
287
00:17:01.159 --> 00:17:04.359
Yeah, I hate every second of incredibly painful and actually
288
00:17:04.880 --> 00:17:07.599
suplex Cody off the top of a twelve foot lighter
289
00:17:07.680 --> 00:17:09.720
in that might jump and that was the end of me.
290
00:17:09.880 --> 00:17:11.279
These are the worst kind of match.
291
00:17:11.359 --> 00:17:15.400
He's doing high risk Owens, by the heck with it,
292
00:17:16.160 --> 00:17:19.799
it was more mid risk, I guess small risk, blot
293
00:17:19.799 --> 00:17:23.720
of risk, forget it. Kevin Owens is not in the
294
00:17:23.839 --> 00:17:26.279
business of giving the people what they want.
295
00:17:26.640 --> 00:17:30.359
He's in the business of giving himself by lenders bad oh,
296
00:17:30.599 --> 00:17:31.839
the little lenders back.
297
00:17:32.000 --> 00:17:35.640
Now Cody using it as a woman Goddy's cannon, the
298
00:17:35.720 --> 00:17:39.240
little ladder and now bouncing the ladder off. Ko collapses
299
00:17:39.279 --> 00:17:39.720
in the court.
300
00:17:40.799 --> 00:17:43.359
I'll tell you what, this little ladder is certainly a menace.
301
00:17:46.599 --> 00:17:48.960
And now Cody owns with Kevin down going to try
302
00:17:49.039 --> 00:17:52.640
to sending the ladder to graft a champion chips.
303
00:17:52.440 --> 00:17:56.440
And retain his title. Look how slow Cody's going. And
304
00:17:56.519 --> 00:17:58.079
now I get a lot of light to the knee,
305
00:17:58.440 --> 00:18:01.720
right to the knee of Cody from ko take out
306
00:18:01.720 --> 00:18:03.480
and knee. How the hell do you climb the ladder?
307
00:18:03.519 --> 00:18:06.119
Oh, and out of any elbowe of Cody Roads.
308
00:18:06.359 --> 00:18:08.519
Cody Roads is sunk and out of the mid section
309
00:18:08.680 --> 00:18:12.599
of Cody batted and bruised a body that had already
310
00:18:12.680 --> 00:18:15.680
beaten people beating up without package poles or even several
311
00:18:15.759 --> 00:18:16.279
weeks ago.
312
00:18:16.519 --> 00:18:18.559
I'm not sure he's one hundred percent coming into this
313
00:18:18.720 --> 00:18:19.119
might job.
314
00:18:20.000 --> 00:18:22.400
Oh no, now, right out of the ladder, I can
315
00:18:22.519 --> 00:18:24.160
tell you Kevin Owens is at one hundred.
316
00:18:23.920 --> 00:18:24.480
Percent of the brain.
317
00:18:24.559 --> 00:18:27.920
That's the short, oh mine in Coddy Roads money just
318
00:18:28.000 --> 00:18:30.680
broke every further brain on that little ladder, and not
319
00:18:31.039 --> 00:18:31.680
being one.
320
00:18:31.640 --> 00:18:35.240
Hundred percent in the brain is perhaps an advantage in a.
321
00:18:35.279 --> 00:18:37.039
Match up this dangerous.
322
00:18:37.960 --> 00:18:40.599
Watch this and watch the impact of Cody.
323
00:18:40.799 --> 00:18:47.119
It's metal steal rearranging Cody Roads entire spinal colling.
324
00:18:48.799 --> 00:18:50.440
He said, co'ble shot there from the ladder.
325
00:18:50.519 --> 00:18:52.960
Yeah, Kevin Owens taken down, Coddy Roads down trying to
326
00:18:53.000 --> 00:18:55.759
set the ladder up. It's about survival, that's all. This
327
00:18:55.960 --> 00:18:57.920
is about surviving and grabbing the titles.
328
00:18:58.039 --> 00:19:00.799
Well, that's exactly how Cody Roads got himself to the
329
00:19:01.000 --> 00:19:03.359
WWE Championship in the first place.
330
00:19:03.400 --> 00:19:05.079
It was a long, arduous claw.
331
00:19:05.119 --> 00:19:07.400
Almost there, Cody's got his hands on the title.
332
00:19:07.519 --> 00:19:09.880
Gonna go up one more wrong, Kevin Owens trying to
333
00:19:09.960 --> 00:19:13.359
hang on. Cody Roads down has his hands of the championship,
334
00:19:13.519 --> 00:19:17.319
but Tony Hat get high about the ring. This could
335
00:19:17.359 --> 00:19:18.200
be a disaster.
336
00:19:18.680 --> 00:19:21.720
The American night Mare though, edwal maneuver back to the ladder.
337
00:19:22.000 --> 00:19:24.640
Kevin Owens trying to make sure that Cody doesn't win
338
00:19:24.680 --> 00:19:26.079
the title, retain the title.
339
00:19:26.160 --> 00:19:28.880
Here our champion was just dangling twenty feet in the
340
00:19:28.960 --> 00:19:30.480
sky old fingertips.
341
00:19:30.599 --> 00:19:32.079
Oh my goodness.
342
00:19:33.240 --> 00:19:36.359
Cody apparently go for a hurricane ron or something, but
343
00:19:36.960 --> 00:19:41.440
Kemy O pulls off Bard was essentially a pop up powerbomb.
344
00:19:43.519 --> 00:19:47.240
I don't know how Cody continues to go after this.
345
00:19:49.799 --> 00:19:51.960
How much more can our champs body take?
346
00:19:53.599 --> 00:19:56.240
We're talking about bodies. A lot is made about physiques
347
00:19:56.359 --> 00:20:01.119
in WWE. Ko has the perfect physique, friendness, punishment.
348
00:20:01.400 --> 00:20:05.000
Cody certainly does not, and Kevin continues to punish Roads,
349
00:20:05.720 --> 00:20:08.960
driving Cody into the ladder again. Kevin Owens has really
350
00:20:09.039 --> 00:20:10.559
dominated most of this match.
351
00:20:10.720 --> 00:20:14.960
One more durability. That is what Kevin Owens is built for.
352
00:20:15.200 --> 00:20:19.279
This is Kevin Owens wheelhouse and Cody Rhoads has made
353
00:20:19.319 --> 00:20:22.759
the mistake of all mistakes and allowing insult to bet
354
00:20:22.839 --> 00:20:25.559
and heaven. As Kevin's climbing to the top of the ladder,
355
00:20:25.680 --> 00:20:26.839
they're going to win the world title.
356
00:20:27.000 --> 00:20:30.960
Cody wrote down title literally, fetch plus the ladder and
357
00:20:31.119 --> 00:20:32.599
Covin out with a kick to the mid section.
358
00:20:33.440 --> 00:20:37.480
Just too much left in the tankular WWE champ Cody
359
00:20:37.640 --> 00:20:41.000
Roads with that indefatigable human spirit.
360
00:20:41.160 --> 00:20:44.119
You were You weren't buying Wade's argument Kevin Owens and
361
00:20:44.160 --> 00:20:45.559
the physique being better.
362
00:20:45.359 --> 00:20:47.119
For this matchup. No, I think it is good. I
363
00:20:47.160 --> 00:20:48.880
think it's callous. I think he's ready to take the
364
00:20:48.960 --> 00:20:51.079
abuse a little bit more. I mean, nobody wants to
365
00:20:51.119 --> 00:20:53.200
be in a ladder match, but Kevin Owens this is
366
00:20:53.240 --> 00:20:54.200
a home game for him.
367
00:20:54.519 --> 00:20:57.759
There was an element of Mick Foley about Kevin Owens
368
00:20:57.839 --> 00:21:00.480
and his style and that body that took Foley all
369
00:21:00.519 --> 00:21:01.680
the way to the Taunt While it might.
370
00:21:01.839 --> 00:21:04.480
Oh and it's interesting you said that because earlier today
371
00:21:05.000 --> 00:21:08.079
I saw Nick Foley in heavy conversation with Kevin Owens.
372
00:21:08.319 --> 00:21:11.160
Mick was here earlier on as down Cody has driven
373
00:21:11.200 --> 00:21:12.400
into the steps.
374
00:21:12.559 --> 00:21:14.880
Hit first Love to have been a fly on the
375
00:21:14.960 --> 00:21:18.079
wall for that conversation. It seems like Kevin Owens doesn't
376
00:21:18.119 --> 00:21:22.079
want to speak to anybody whatsoever current labor. Perhaps the
377
00:21:22.160 --> 00:21:24.279
Hall of Famer Mick Fawley got through to him and
378
00:21:24.599 --> 00:21:26.160
gave him some tactical advice.
379
00:21:31.039 --> 00:21:34.079
Kevin Owens down back in the ring along with Cody Roads.
380
00:21:36.440 --> 00:21:39.240
It has been a fight the majority of KO in
381
00:21:39.279 --> 00:21:41.200
this batch so far. Cody, We're gonna turn things around
382
00:21:41.279 --> 00:21:42.480
any day, do that like Kevin?
383
00:21:42.519 --> 00:21:50.599
That's your flex not readjusted quickly snapsupplex by Cody Rhones.
384
00:21:51.160 --> 00:21:52.599
He's taking a beating tonight.
385
00:21:53.440 --> 00:21:53.640
Yeah.
386
00:21:53.640 --> 00:21:57.000
As much as we make up the durability of Kevin Owens,
387
00:21:57.039 --> 00:22:00.279
it pays to remember that he is still a human being.
388
00:22:02.119 --> 00:22:05.319
We all have fragilities and when they're exposed, and Cody
389
00:22:05.440 --> 00:22:09.119
may have exposed a fragility in Kevin Owens, will Caddy
390
00:22:09.240 --> 00:22:10.759
take advantage.
391
00:22:11.799 --> 00:22:14.559
Later minute, Cody Road just busted off the lower rung
392
00:22:14.599 --> 00:22:15.200
of the ladder.
393
00:22:15.400 --> 00:22:18.400
Where have I seen that before? Tactic of mine? Once
394
00:22:18.480 --> 00:22:19.880
upon a time, I think.
395
00:22:19.799 --> 00:22:22.480
That way Berett invented this tactic and.
396
00:22:22.519 --> 00:22:24.920
I used it on Cody Roadse. He clearly learned a
397
00:22:25.119 --> 00:22:25.880
trick or two.
398
00:22:26.240 --> 00:22:28.880
Cody Rhodes using the bottom rung of that ladder.
399
00:22:28.599 --> 00:22:31.200
There's a weapon. But he runs into a super kickbo Owens.
400
00:22:31.680 --> 00:22:33.960
Well, that was almost game over for Kevin Owens. I
401
00:22:34.039 --> 00:22:36.359
was like being beaten up with a baseball by all
402
00:22:36.599 --> 00:22:37.599
completely legal.
403
00:22:37.720 --> 00:22:39.839
Of course, that straut of the ladder.
404
00:22:40.279 --> 00:22:42.759
Two or three more shots on the frame of Cavin
405
00:22:42.880 --> 00:22:44.640
Owens and he may have been down for good.
406
00:22:44.680 --> 00:22:48.039
My pat Cody does not look good right now, I plagy.
407
00:22:48.680 --> 00:22:51.400
We're deep into a ladder match. Nobody's gonna look at
408
00:22:51.480 --> 00:22:56.359
this stage. Whoa pig lefts from Kevin Owen.
409
00:22:56.119 --> 00:22:58.400
The South Park, all those left cap that just that
410
00:22:58.799 --> 00:23:01.680
mocking Cody's custody rose.
411
00:23:01.559 --> 00:23:04.599
And there there's the ladder right right off the face
412
00:23:04.680 --> 00:23:05.160
of Roads.
413
00:23:05.319 --> 00:23:08.640
Well, Cody Roads essentially falling on his own sword.
414
00:23:08.759 --> 00:23:12.640
Now introduced that struts of the ladder into the matchup.
415
00:23:13.279 --> 00:23:15.920
Didn't get the job done against Ko. And listen, I
416
00:23:16.000 --> 00:23:17.839
know Kevin Owens wants to punish Cody.
417
00:23:18.000 --> 00:23:19.599
I know he wants to destroy this guy.
418
00:23:19.799 --> 00:23:21.880
But Kevin Owens is a position how to climb the
419
00:23:21.920 --> 00:23:24.400
damn ladder and grab the titles and win the championship.
420
00:23:24.559 --> 00:23:26.799
But instead he wants to beat the hell out of
421
00:23:26.839 --> 00:23:29.880
Cody here and again to the skull of Roads. Because
422
00:23:29.960 --> 00:23:34.759
Cody Rhodes is not an ordinary superstar, He's extra special.
423
00:23:34.880 --> 00:23:36.960
That's what got to get to the goal in the
424
00:23:37.119 --> 00:23:40.000
first place is smarts from Kevin Owens.
425
00:23:40.519 --> 00:23:43.160
Do not go for the goal too soon. And I
426
00:23:43.400 --> 00:23:44.400
finished the job.
427
00:23:44.440 --> 00:23:46.400
And I also told the story of talking about what
428
00:23:46.480 --> 00:23:49.880
he's met earlier today, and it's all about punishing perhaps
429
00:23:50.079 --> 00:23:53.000
ending careers. That is what Owens and Rhodes wanted to
430
00:23:53.039 --> 00:23:54.079
do to each other tonight.
431
00:23:54.279 --> 00:23:56.480
Well, if you end someone's career who is in a
432
00:23:56.599 --> 00:23:58.920
matchup with you, how easy is it gonna be for
433
00:23:59.000 --> 00:24:01.440
you to climb that line to grab the gold?
434
00:24:01.599 --> 00:24:05.680
Killed two buds, we walk spoke the Owens is trying
435
00:24:05.680 --> 00:24:08.519
to end careers every match that he's in, wanting to
436
00:24:08.559 --> 00:24:09.720
do whatever to have success.
437
00:24:11.160 --> 00:24:15.039
Cody then five ladder matches in his career, but all
438
00:24:15.119 --> 00:24:16.799
of them money in the bank ladder matches, And again
439
00:24:16.880 --> 00:24:17.960
with the griddle ladder.
440
00:24:18.039 --> 00:24:19.200
You have bounced off roads.
441
00:24:19.839 --> 00:24:22.160
The roads just has nothing left. The time is empty
442
00:24:22.279 --> 00:24:26.559
that there's a ball of steel getting thrown around. These
443
00:24:26.640 --> 00:24:28.160
guys are battering each.
444
00:24:27.960 --> 00:24:31.240
Omny, guess what we need another ladder? Don't you have
445
00:24:31.400 --> 00:24:34.079
enough in the ring already? They're all broken call. That's
446
00:24:34.160 --> 00:24:37.279
part of the problem, and so is the body of
447
00:24:37.440 --> 00:24:41.200
the w W E. Cody Rhoads gotta crawl out of
448
00:24:41.240 --> 00:24:41.480
the way.
449
00:24:41.519 --> 00:24:44.480
You gotta clear some traffic. Too many ladders in the ring.
450
00:24:44.720 --> 00:24:46.359
You're trying to get those lots out of that.
451
00:24:46.519 --> 00:24:49.640
So Kevin Owens called his buddy up with them, but
452
00:24:49.759 --> 00:24:50.880
it might be too late for that.
453
00:24:51.039 --> 00:25:01.640
Cody's Kevin Owen's setting up here, furniture here, This looks
454
00:25:02.200 --> 00:25:03.880
painful job.
455
00:25:05.000 --> 00:25:08.359
It could be, especially if you hit this cony now
456
00:25:08.920 --> 00:25:11.519
trying to fight back. Realize it could have been a disaster.
457
00:25:11.720 --> 00:25:15.480
There big four arm by Owens and another one to Cody,
458
00:25:15.519 --> 00:25:17.400
and Cody just has not been able to find any.
459
00:25:17.279 --> 00:25:19.559
Sort of groove in this good ol John Lovel's coming.
460
00:25:19.640 --> 00:25:22.920
Oh my god, No, not that not not, oh my god.
461
00:25:36.319 --> 00:25:36.519
Oh.
462
00:25:37.279 --> 00:25:43.799
Kevin Owens was going for a package piled riber. Cody
463
00:25:43.960 --> 00:25:45.319
Rhoads countered there the.
464
00:25:45.559 --> 00:25:48.160
Fast body drive through that damn ladder.
465
00:25:48.960 --> 00:25:52.279
Well, Kevin Owens was attempting to finish the career of
466
00:25:52.480 --> 00:25:55.799
Tony Roads once and for all. A package pile drive
467
00:25:55.920 --> 00:25:59.000
up on that ladder would suddenly have done it, and
468
00:25:59.119 --> 00:26:02.160
there was some burning and be left in the soul
469
00:26:02.400 --> 00:26:03.440
of Cony Rhodes.
470
00:26:03.559 --> 00:26:06.359
Now Cody with an opportunity wig Kevin Owens is down.
471
00:26:06.400 --> 00:26:08.599
He may not be able to walk Cody Roads down
472
00:26:08.680 --> 00:26:10.880
trying to place the ladder and win this match.
473
00:26:10.960 --> 00:26:13.079
Well, I can't believe Cody Roads is back up on
474
00:26:13.160 --> 00:26:13.519
his feet.
475
00:26:13.559 --> 00:26:15.880
You would behoove him to scramble up that lader with
476
00:26:16.079 --> 00:26:18.160
everything he's got get this one over.
477
00:26:18.359 --> 00:26:21.400
He's draight to a doctor, trying to do.
478
00:26:21.440 --> 00:26:21.880
What he can.
479
00:26:22.200 --> 00:26:25.680
Kevin Owens might have some internal leading Kevin Owens running interference,
480
00:26:26.200 --> 00:26:27.200
trying to play defense.
481
00:26:27.240 --> 00:26:29.799
But Cody Roase is close to the top. Kevin Owens down,
482
00:26:29.920 --> 00:26:32.720
Oh my goodness, not from up there. Kevin Owens has
483
00:26:32.799 --> 00:26:35.119
Tony Roads up top, Owens down.
484
00:26:36.680 --> 00:26:45.400
Back of his head and no exploded through the lot.
485
00:26:45.319 --> 00:26:53.960
Of Just listen to this, where is a very very
486
00:26:54.240 --> 00:27:01.400
simple equation bone versus steel. There's only the one winner,
487
00:27:02.799 --> 00:27:05.839
and it certainly was not the body of Cody Rhodes.
488
00:27:06.160 --> 00:27:10.000
This is for the undisputed w w E Championship, and
489
00:27:10.079 --> 00:27:12.880
there's a ladder match in front of over seventy thousand
490
00:27:13.079 --> 00:27:16.240
and Kevin Owens, the challenger, slowly climbing the ladder. Will
491
00:27:16.319 --> 00:27:18.839
this be his destiny? Will this be his moment? His
492
00:27:19.039 --> 00:27:21.680
first title in eight years? Cody Road trying to play
493
00:27:21.759 --> 00:27:24.400
defense here, trying to grab Owens back off the ladder.
494
00:27:29.039 --> 00:27:30.599
I don't know how Cody's even functional.
495
00:27:30.799 --> 00:27:36.319
Cody just crawled out of a major car wreck again,
496
00:27:37.039 --> 00:27:41.640
but he's just delaying the inevitable at this point, angering
497
00:27:41.799 --> 00:27:43.960
Ko further much more.
498
00:27:44.000 --> 00:27:45.400
Get our champion tape.
499
00:27:46.119 --> 00:27:52.319
Cody looks dumb, done and dusted, not unintended A what
500
00:27:52.680 --> 00:27:55.720
instrument of torture is Ko turning to next?
501
00:27:56.839 --> 00:27:58.400
Yeah, the ladder's all over the place.
502
00:27:59.119 --> 00:28:02.880
He's demented, sick, sick in the head. I guarantee you
503
00:28:03.119 --> 00:28:04.559
Owens has been up at night.
504
00:28:05.200 --> 00:28:07.359
Some will call it sick in the head, Others will
505
00:28:07.440 --> 00:28:10.599
call it a winner's mentality, because you have to go
506
00:28:10.759 --> 00:28:11.680
for bro can't wait.
507
00:28:11.799 --> 00:28:14.039
This guy is sitting up at night thinking it ways
508
00:28:14.119 --> 00:28:18.480
to torture and punish Cody Roads has been I didn't
509
00:28:18.680 --> 00:28:19.160
have to do this.
510
00:28:19.799 --> 00:28:22.319
Stud be highly effective, clearly cold.
511
00:28:23.960 --> 00:28:25.920
Kevin Owens said, I didn't have to do this. It
512
00:28:26.000 --> 00:28:29.319
didn't have to do this way, and Cody quickly back
513
00:28:29.359 --> 00:28:30.720
to his feet. Thank goodness.
514
00:28:31.039 --> 00:28:35.200
Owens family going for the splash. Yeah, we might have
515
00:28:35.200 --> 00:28:38.039
seen Cody Roads splattering right here in front of us.
516
00:28:38.640 --> 00:28:40.599
What does Cody think? And he glanced back at that
517
00:28:40.799 --> 00:28:46.160
ladder that Kevin had set up. Cody Roads Now.
518
00:28:49.319 --> 00:28:52.680
Ain't a minute? Oh no, oh no, no, no, yeah,
519
00:28:52.799 --> 00:28:53.759
my god, Owens.
520
00:28:53.559 --> 00:29:00.440
Is houcking the leg stops sust that duster to the ladder, got.
521
00:29:00.359 --> 00:29:12.519
The ladder, Hey boy, may die checking pulses.
522
00:29:17.640 --> 00:29:29.039
Show the human body we've got. Ah, he's not supposed
523
00:29:29.079 --> 00:29:29.799
to endament.
524
00:29:30.119 --> 00:29:32.640
We've got some Uh we have this ficials channel manager
525
00:29:32.720 --> 00:29:35.440
Nick all this uh are down here, bolt men are
526
00:29:35.519 --> 00:29:40.640
down all this trying to figure out how badly hurt
527
00:29:40.720 --> 00:29:41.880
both Owens and Rhodes are.
528
00:29:42.119 --> 00:29:46.160
What's he's saying? Oh the ends the same of his
529
00:29:46.279 --> 00:29:48.200
Walm team. But these are human beings.
530
00:29:49.160 --> 00:29:53.079
By pizza and uh, oh my, look it's here.
531
00:29:53.160 --> 00:29:55.440
Wait a minute, Sammy's date is here.
532
00:29:56.559 --> 00:29:59.559
Well, Kelvin Owens told to Sammy's dying about a quid
533
00:29:59.680 --> 00:30:02.599
plug quote here at the Royal Ride that come on,
534
00:30:02.720 --> 00:30:05.000
I Sammy, you help me, I'll help you and let's
535
00:30:05.039 --> 00:30:06.559
meet in the main event of Russell.
536
00:30:06.359 --> 00:30:08.400
Mary, Sammy's friends with both of these guys.
537
00:30:10.160 --> 00:30:13.119
Sammy might be worried about them, becauesn't what they've done
538
00:30:13.200 --> 00:30:13.640
to each other.
539
00:30:14.039 --> 00:30:17.079
Oh no, no, I smell a fix. But I don't
540
00:30:17.200 --> 00:30:19.559
like this at all. I'm getting a hint of that
541
00:30:19.720 --> 00:30:20.559
his well way.
542
00:30:23.960 --> 00:30:24.480
And now.
543
00:30:26.480 --> 00:30:28.680
Sammy again checking out Kevin and and Cody.
544
00:30:29.119 --> 00:30:31.880
Officials are down here trying to figure out thinking if
545
00:30:31.880 --> 00:30:34.960
they can resume this match for the championship.
546
00:30:36.799 --> 00:30:39.480
Both men physically a wreck of this boy is a
547
00:30:39.599 --> 00:30:42.200
question if this match is even gonna continue. But looking
548
00:30:42.680 --> 00:30:46.119
at Kevin Owens, he is taking it out the hands
549
00:30:46.160 --> 00:30:47.119
of the officials.
550
00:30:47.839 --> 00:30:50.759
Well, the match continues, obviously, Kevin Owens is back to
551
00:30:50.880 --> 00:30:53.640
his feet. Owens watched the championship. He wants to put
552
00:30:53.720 --> 00:30:56.319
Cody Rhodes away. Remember you only win when they grab
553
00:30:56.480 --> 00:30:56.960
the titles.
554
00:30:58.240 --> 00:31:00.400
Giving it out here? Do you boys want to went
555
00:31:00.440 --> 00:31:03.359
for the stunner? Toddy Roads down has classed on that
556
00:31:03.519 --> 00:31:11.319
Owens a last roll of the dice, perhaps from Cody Rhodes.
557
00:31:13.480 --> 00:31:16.680
And the Vegas belief the Roads is moving now. Cody
558
00:31:16.759 --> 00:31:19.000
trying to climb the ladder. Kevin Owens, No'm not gonna
559
00:31:19.000 --> 00:31:21.480
allow him to do it. Cody Roads has been to
560
00:31:21.559 --> 00:31:23.640
hell and back in this match and it's continuing.
561
00:31:24.640 --> 00:31:26.799
Romnz Cody Roads as a human spirit.
562
00:31:26.880 --> 00:31:29.279
Oh my goodness, get on a thoutht up right out
563
00:31:29.359 --> 00:31:30.119
tamoe again.
564
00:31:30.319 --> 00:31:34.759
If Tony Roads six tears here, Cody Rhodes has got
565
00:31:34.960 --> 00:31:36.759
Kevin Owens cluster open?
566
00:31:36.880 --> 00:31:39.200
How does he have this mush out? Okay? In this stuff,
567
00:31:39.599 --> 00:31:42.880
Tivid only tan off the punks. Kevin Owens just bust
568
00:31:42.960 --> 00:31:52.000
it up. And Tony Roads, he's a madman. Kevin Owens,
569
00:31:52.160 --> 00:31:56.440
Welcome to your last nightmare. The American Nightmare is alive.
570
00:31:57.480 --> 00:32:01.160
Like jo is busted wide open. The ant serious, but
571
00:32:01.319 --> 00:32:02.640
it's Katon pull it over.
572
00:32:03.359 --> 00:32:08.119
Cody Rose down, targeting the the wound on the face
573
00:32:08.200 --> 00:32:08.599
of Chao.
574
00:32:08.759 --> 00:32:14.400
Don't you want that? Looks you want? I'm tid Tody's
575
00:32:14.440 --> 00:32:15.359
standing on him.
576
00:32:18.039 --> 00:32:22.920
Kevin always brought this upon himself, carryall, caught this upon himself.
577
00:32:23.960 --> 00:32:25.680
He made Cody Roads this way.
578
00:32:28.880 --> 00:32:31.119
It was a few moments ago they would both be
579
00:32:31.200 --> 00:32:34.200
asked if they wanted to quit nuts on a long.
580
00:32:34.119 --> 00:32:38.799
Ball of desperation blow by Covin Owens.
581
00:32:41.799 --> 00:32:45.000
Kevin Owens looking to end the couple, cobbled.
582
00:32:44.839 --> 00:32:48.160
Me champing right here, No.
583
00:32:48.319 --> 00:32:52.519
No, no, look it right that packets pile driver.
584
00:32:52.839 --> 00:32:55.440
Or Cody able to counter?
585
00:33:00.920 --> 00:33:02.519
I got us set up.
586
00:33:02.799 --> 00:33:03.799
Crowd on the ladder.
587
00:33:04.319 --> 00:33:07.039
Kevin Awens card that side out.
588
00:33:16.279 --> 00:33:21.039
Home and meanwhile, Cony Roodse back into the ring. Cony
589
00:33:21.160 --> 00:33:25.400
Rhod's gonna take the opportunity to climb the ladder. Well,
590
00:33:25.519 --> 00:33:28.759
Kevin Owens has to be finished air hole. Cody Rhodes
591
00:33:28.839 --> 00:33:29.640
is near to the top.
592
00:33:30.240 --> 00:33:36.759
Cody Rhodes, how's the champion? Simpson head. Kevin Owens might
593
00:33:36.799 --> 00:33:38.920
be done. We're good.
594
00:33:39.839 --> 00:33:42.319
Cody Rhodes on top of the ladder.
595
00:33:42.599 --> 00:33:44.160
Kevin Owens has not moved.
596
00:33:46.200 --> 00:33:52.880
Cony Rhodes takes down one title. Cody Rhodes takes down another.
597
00:33:53.559 --> 00:33:54.680
Cony Roads wins.
598
00:33:57.519 --> 00:33:59.079
Here's your winner.
599
00:34:00.400 --> 00:34:09.760
Step disputed w W heel sod.
600
00:34:16.320 --> 00:34:20.360
Cody Rhoads hops to be headed to WrestleMania as the champion.
601
00:34:21.320 --> 00:34:24.519
We may find out in the rumbling match next who
602
00:34:24.639 --> 00:34:29.039
he will face. Meanwhile, serious concern here at ringside for
603
00:34:29.440 --> 00:34:32.880
Kevin Owens. Our doctors out here checking on him.
604
00:34:35.400 --> 00:34:38.719
One of the most sickening matches we have ever witnessed
605
00:34:39.639 --> 00:34:44.440
in w w WE the human spirit and Cody Rhoades
606
00:34:44.559 --> 00:34:45.480
droven through this.
607
00:34:46.800 --> 00:34:52.119
Kevin hasn't moved and he's too. We're willing to hand
608
00:34:52.320 --> 00:34:56.360
all to win. Thought it was over for Cody then
609
00:34:57.480 --> 00:34:58.039
and then we.
610
00:35:00.079 --> 00:35:04.320
This was the moment Keroo tried to end Cody Rhoads
611
00:35:04.360 --> 00:35:08.079
booking with a package wile driver on either the steps
612
00:35:08.719 --> 00:35:11.599
or the table. The Cody Roads power through with this
613
00:35:12.280 --> 00:35:16.079
Ala Pama slam on those at the landing of Kevin Owens.
614
00:35:16.159 --> 00:35:17.320
This is a crucial part.
615
00:35:17.639 --> 00:35:22.880
It's essentially held first for the prize cut up as
616
00:35:22.920 --> 00:35:25.239
the latter snapped and Keto has.
617
00:35:25.199 --> 00:35:29.400
Been folded up like an accordion ever since Cony Roads
618
00:35:29.480 --> 00:35:32.719
did what he had to do tonight. Cody Roads furnished
619
00:35:32.800 --> 00:35:37.320
his story at WrestleMania, but the latest book is now
620
00:35:37.480 --> 00:35:42.320
being written. The maturation process of Cody.
621
00:35:42.119 --> 00:35:45.599
Rhoads over the last ten months and he's.
622
00:35:45.519 --> 00:35:53.800
Realizing, as the Dumptywee champion, you have no friends.
623
00:35:57.000 --> 00:35:57.199
Fight.
624
00:35:58.320 --> 00:36:06.760
Kevin Owens is an absolute bess, bloody matter and broken
625
00:36:06.880 --> 00:36:09.000
as our champion, and.
626
00:36:09.119 --> 00:36:12.679
That's the only white you can beat. The prize fights up.
627
00:36:13.639 --> 00:36:17.039
Cody Rhodes did it went to the depths of humanity
628
00:36:17.800 --> 00:36:19.159
because that is how much.
629
00:36:20.440 --> 00:36:21.920
But here's the championship me.
630
00:36:22.039 --> 00:36:25.360
Here's the story weight at ringside, Kevin Owens being attended
631
00:36:25.400 --> 00:36:28.960
to a very concerned general manager, very concerned friend, Sammy's
632
00:36:29.000 --> 00:36:30.639
Aim Goddy.
633
00:36:30.400 --> 00:36:35.039
Rhodes though, did what he had to do to keep his.
634
00:36:35.159 --> 00:36:39.119
Championship and ensure the opportunity to go to WrestleMania.
635
00:36:39.440 --> 00:36:42.119
It's supposed to be a joyous mobile, but the casserve
636
00:36:42.239 --> 00:36:44.519
fall Kevin Owens is so high right now.
637
00:36:45.000 --> 00:36:48.199
I mean, we're all struggling to celebrate now run all
638
00:36:48.280 --> 00:36:49.039
over our desk.
639
00:36:49.800 --> 00:36:53.039
I hate to be callous about this, Waid, because we're
640
00:36:53.079 --> 00:36:57.320
talking about a human being here. But Kevin Owens, he
641
00:36:57.440 --> 00:37:02.800
brought all of this upon himself. He let his bitter
642
00:37:03.039 --> 00:37:03.719
jealousy and.
643
00:37:05.480 --> 00:37:09.039
Just get to him drove him over the edge.
644
00:37:11.760 --> 00:37:13.800
The woman does he say about Cady Roads that he
645
00:37:13.960 --> 00:37:17.079
was able to raise himself to the exact same level
646
00:37:17.119 --> 00:37:20.320
at such a deranged individual.
647
00:37:19.840 --> 00:37:21.880
As Kevin OWDs. As we go, let's take going.
648
00:37:22.440 --> 00:37:29.079
Yeah, welcome back Ken Andy Cody Rhoads, the champion will
649
00:37:29.159 --> 00:37:34.760
celebrate tonight after one of the most courageous performances of
650
00:37:34.920 --> 00:37:35.480
his career.
651
00:37:36.760 --> 00:37:43.599
I want to win, want a fight from Kevin Owens.
